How the Tamaki Naked Apron Scene became popular?
Kakyoin : Guys! Guys! We are doing Episode 10 of the first season of Fire Force! We need to come up with something for Episode 10. What do you come up with something great with one of your ideas? Mr, Kujo?
Jotaro : You want something to help us on make a lot of sense, even making the 10th episode with some ideas? What do you need something for it? It's not like that you needed any ideas after the ninth episode? What will be the idea for episode to come up with?
Kakyoin : Alright, get this. This will be a great idea for episode 10. Company 8 are going to prepare a feast and it's going to have a major thing to be very important for the show. Now let me show you to this artboard. David, here's I'm getting something that might add up to the show.
Jotaro : It better be not one of your silly ideas.
Kakyoin : (draws something creatively) Voila! My perfect scene for the tenth episode of the show! What do you think guys?
[CARTOON SFX : CRASH!]
Polnareff : Kakyoin...what kind of ideal scene for the tenth scene is that?
Avdol : That does not go well with the script.
Jotaro : Kakyoin...What the-[dolphin chirps] is that supposed to be for the 10th episode?
David Production : Seriously, Kakyoin. That's your idea for the show.? A picture of one girl that wears only something and without wearing clothes. A real piece of fanservice, you got there...for our expense!
Kakyoin : I sure did! In fact, this perfect drawing of a picture I made for the ideal scene for the 10th episode, is a picture of--
Tamaki : Excuse me, fellas. Does wearing this pink apron without my clothes make me look fat in the show?
Kakyoin : What are you talking about, firefighting cat girl? Of course wearing the pink apron without your clothes on thing is no expression of--[his eyes enlarges] HOLY FISHPASTE!! That is seriously one hot mama! I gotta take a picture of it! (Holds out a camera flash.)
[CAMERA FLASHES!]
Kakyoin : Hey, what I tell ya? I told you! She's a fine hoochie mama I'd say! This is the ideal scene for the tenth episode that I wanted everyone to see. (Shows a photo of Tamaki wearing an apron in the nude) Pretty hot, right, guys? (Hears something collapsing) Guys?
Jotaro : They just all passed out from nosebleeding blood loss and fainted from insane erections, called boners. You hardly knew that you were going to make a scene of a girl that wears a pink apron in the nude. Doesn't that feel that it's not even context out of that. This is show made by David Production, not a show full of pornographic idiots!
Kakyoin : Oh...right. I'll go ask her.
Joseph Joestar : Who knows? Maybe it's best that we shouldn't run into her, you know. Like most people do.
Kakyoin : And what do you even expect that I even trust a girl like her age, that I really did that to her!? What's that cat girl gonna do, break my spirit and threw me in a garbage can?
(cuts to Kakyoin with his legs shown in the trash can after getting beaten up by Tamaki)
Kakyoin : Okay, wow. Second...(in pain) Oww! I didn't realize that some fire chick manage to beat me up to a pulp and threw me in the can. Who's idea was that anyway? Never had a worst written character had to go beat me up in person.
Shinra : Not so much of it. I imagine of banging Tamaki wearing that apron in the nude like that. I totally telegraph that for myself!
Kakyoin : Oh haha! That's really funny man! I was hoping you would definitely say that right now! But, man, Tamaki. She's great wearing that apron with no clothes, bro. I should really telegraph that. On the other hand, could you please, get me out of here? I kinda feel like that I just peed all over on my face!
Shinra : Why did David even bother of you making that scene. At least you look cute in apron without your clothes
Tamaki : I'm going to break your Xbox, you devilish perv! [Runs off]
Shinra : No, Tamaki! It was Kaykoin's idea! He gave the ideal scene of you wearing that apron! [Flies off]
Kakyoin : So much for being a total chick-magnet that does get involved so much of fanservice. I bet you young version of Joseph liking Tamaki in apron with no clothes.
Young Joseph : [snaps and swear shades] Nice indeed!
"AND THAT'S WHY FIRE FORCE SUCKS!" :D

Nothing Else Like It: Chapter 15
Hi! It's almost been a full year since I've updated this, huh? I would love to say that in typical fanfic writer fashion, something insanely dramatic happened to prevent this chapter, but that is not the case. I just felt like I couldn't write. I do think the fact that I almost flunked out of college TWICE before I updated this fic is connected somehow. Anyway, I hope this chapter is worth the wait!
Oh, one more thing! This is a crossover with my other fic, Crusader of Life 3! If you wanna see all of this from Emily and the others' perspective, I'd suggest you read it! The two books before it are kinda bad in my opinion, so I wouldn't suggest reading those first, but you can if you want I guess.
“Hey! Kai! Stop swinging that around!”
“But Grandad, I’m being careful!”
“You’re swinging around a mace! Just because Dedun can form its hands into anything you can carry doesn’t mean you should wield a weapon right now! We’re in a submarine!”
Kai sighed, calling Dedun back. He walked towards the couch, about to lay down on it, before he saw Jotaro sitting there. He gave his brother a glare before sitting on the chair next to the couch.
“I kind of miss being sleepy all the time,” Kai sighed. “Now that I’m not sick anymore, my body has no reason to let me rest. But I guess it makes me less of a burden, huh, Jotaro?” The last sentence was said louder than the others, with Kai turning his head towards his brother.
Jotaro huffed. “Okay fine, maybe I was a little harsher than I should’ve been-”
“A little?”
“But you have your Stand now, so what’s the big deal?” Jotaro was sitting straight up now.
“The deal is that you called me a burden!” Kai snapped. Without warning, Dedun’s fist materialized, swinging at Jotaro. Star Platinum’s hand materialized shortly after that, catching the fist before it hit its user.
Jotaro stared at the caught fist for a short while before turning his head back to his brother, exclaiming, “What the hell, Kai?” However, he could see that Kai was stricken with terror for a few moments before hardening his face as best as he could.
“Serves you right,” Kai said, voice wavering. He called Dedun back, then ran to the restroom.
Jotaro sighed. “He needs better control of his Stand,” he muttered. “Avdol, since you’re back, why don’t you help?”
“Don’t just brush off what happened, Jotaro!” Kakyoin said. “Calling him a burden, even if it was sort of true, was completely unwarranted. Kai’s not completely in the right, either, but you should at least try to patch things up, since this was kind of your fault in the first place.”
“Kai’s overreacting.” Jotaro shrugged his shoulders. “I’ve said worse things before and he’s gotten over it.”
“That doesn’t make this okay,” Joseph said. “You hurt your brother’s feelings. I’m not going to force you to apologize like before, but that’s because I want you to mean it when you do.”
“I’ll go make sure Kai’s not too shaken up by Dedun acting on its own,” Avdol said. “Mr. Joestar, can you pilot the submarine while I’m gone?” Joseph nodded, and Avdol went to the restroom, with Kakyoin following close behind.
“Kai?” Kakyoin lightly knocked on the door. “Kai, are you in there?”
There was no answer.
“Look, if you don’t want Avdol and I to come in, say so now, okay?” Kakyoin continued. “I’m not hearing anything from your side, and that worries me.”
Still no answer. Kakyoin pressed his ear to the door, and there wasn’t even muffled sobs coming from the other side.
“Alright, I’m opening the door now,” Kakyoin said. He turned the knob, and gasped when the door opened completely. Kai wasn’t there.
“Everyone!” Avdol shouted. “Kai’s missing!”
“Missing?” Polnareff asked. “How? We’re in a submarine!”
“He’s not in the submarine,” Kakyoin said. “We don’t know how he got out, or whether he was forced out by an enemy, but he did!”
Jotaro stood up. “Well, are we going to find him or not?”
Suddenly, Joseph let out a pained scream. The others turned to him, seeing that the steering wheel had morphed into a sword and sliced Joseph’s artificial hand off. The sword then batted the metal fingers straight into Joseph’s neck, causing him to pass out.
“Before we find Kai, I think we’ll have to deal with the enemy at hand,” Avdol said to the others. “It seems we have another Stand user attacking us.”
***
Just moments before, Kai slammed the bathroom door, then bent over the counter, breathing heavily. “What was that?” he asked Dedun, who materialized right beside the boy. “Why did you attack Jojo?”
“You were thinking that you wanted to punch him, so I simply did as you ordered me to,” Dedun bowed.
“No, I… I didn’t actually want to punch him!” Kai dug his fingers into his scalp. “This is bad. If every thought I have turns into an order for you, who knows what’ll happen? Someone I love could be injured, or killed!”
“Terrifying thought, is it?” a woman’s voice asked. Kai turned around to see a woman behind him. She had fair skin, dark purple hair, and sunglasses over her eyes. “To have the power to kill, right at your fingertips?”
“Who are you?” Kai demanded. Dedun stepped in front of his user.
“Oh, I’m nobody important,” the woman said with a smooth voice. “However, you’re very important, which is exactly why I’m here.”
Before he could react, the ground beneath Kai opened up, making him fall onto concrete. While he was regaining his footing, the woman jumped in with him, then closed up the sky. “Ah, good, I was afraid you’d have a version of you in this world,” she said.
“What did you do to me?” Kai asked. “Where am I?”
“You’re in another world,” the woman answered. “My name is Maya Valentine, and I dragged you here with my Stand, D4C.”
“What does that stand for?”
“It doesn’t really stand for anything,” she shrugged, “but that’s not the point. I dragged you here because I need you to take someone out for me.”
“Like Hell I will,” Kai said. “I won’t kill somebody just because someone else tells me to.”
“Fine,” Maya shrugged. “I guess you don’t want to go back to your world, then.” She started to walk away.
“Wait!” Kai exclaimed. Maya stopped and turned around.
“Who do I need to kill?”
Maya’s mouth formed into a smile, and she took off her glasses. “There’s a girl who’s the daughter of a mafia boss. Her name is Gionna Giovanna.” Maya handed a picture to Kai, a portrait of a girl with blonde hair and green eyes. “If she’s killed, her father’s spirit will be broken, and his hold on the underground will be loosened.”
“Do you have any idea of where I can find her?”
“She should be asleep right now,” Maya said. “In fact, I took away the hard part of finding her for you. The window to her bedroom should be right there.” She pointed to a window just a few yards away. “Just go in, kill her, and go out. If you can do that, I’ll send you back home.”
Kai gulped as he walked over to the window. If I can just make it sound like I killed her, I can go back home without that on my conscience, he thought to himself. Luckily for him, the window was open, so he jumped through, landing on the creaky floorboards. In the room were two beds on either side. Kai looked to one side, where there was a girl with red hair about the same age as him. He turned to the other side, expecting to see the girl in the picture, but instead there was nothing.
“Who are you?”
Kai gasped, quickly turning around. The girl on the other side was sitting upright in bed. She looked past Kai and at the empty bed behind him.
“What did you do to Gionna?”
“Wait, wait! I promise I didn’t do anything to her!” Kai put open hands in front of him.
“But you were planning to do something to Gionna if she was here,” the girl said. Kai was suddenly lifted up into the air, being violently thrown out of the window. When he regained his footing after rolling on the ground for a moment, he saw the girl go out after him, flying in the air. “Once I’m done with you, I’ll go find her.”
You don’t understand! I was only pretending to kill her! Kai wanted to shout. However, the threat of Maya being nearby kept his mouth shut. The only thing he could do was keep up the act in front of her. He summoned Dedun, transforming its hand into a gun.
“So you do have a Stand,” the girl said. She revealed her own, a golden, human-like figure, with flowing hair that merged with the head.
Kai aimed the gun at the girl’s shoulder, then shot it. However, before it hit her, the bullet magically stopped in front of her, falling to the ground.
So, she can stop objects in midair with her ability, Kai thought. I’m starting to get a clearer idea of what her Stand is capable of.
Just a few moments after Kai shot his gun, the girl zoomed towards him. With the way she was moving, Kai would never be able to get a clean shot to the shoulder, so he had Dedun change the gun into a knife. The girl noticed this, pulling up before Kai could do anything. While she was in the air, her eyes widened while she looked down at something.
“Gionna!” the girl shouted. “Wake the others up! I need some backup!”
Kai gulped. If I don’t tell her what’s really going on soon, I might never get the chance.
The girl was flying down to Kai again. He looked down to the ground, seeing Gionna running to the window. He started to run towards Gionna, hoping that Maya would believe he was making a mistake of forgetting about the girl in the air. Sure enough, the girl grabbed Kai by his arms, lifting him up into the air.
“Did you seriously forget about me?” the girl asked. “I thought you’d be harder to deal with.”
“I didn’t,” Kai said. “I need to tell you something out of earshot of the girl who’s watching me.”
The girl stopped, suspending the two of them in the air.
“Don’t stop flying yet,” Kai whispered. “I don’t know how good she is at picking up context clues.”
The girl continued flying, and while she did, Kai explained who he was and how he was put into this predicament.
“Is Dedun your Stand?” the girl asked.
Kai nodded.
“Why didn’t you just explain this to me before I started fighting?”
“I didn’t know if Maya was watching me, and I didn’t want to give away my plans.”
The girl nodded, then asked one more question. “What’s your name?”
“Kai Kujo.”
The girl almost stopped again, but kept her composure and continued flying. “Kujo?”
“You know that name?”
“Yeah. My dad’s friend has the same last name.”
Kai narrowed his eyes. “What did you say your name was, again?”
“Emily Kakyoin.”
“Your dad wouldn’t happen to have the name Noriaki, would he?”
Emily gasped. “How did you know?”
Kai laughed. “I’m dating Noriaki right now! And if my hunch is correct, your dad’s friend is my brother, Jotaro.”
Emily laughed, as well, but it quickly died down. “We’re going pretty far from the house,” she said. “I think we need a plan for bringing you back so we can talk more. There are still things I need to know.”
“What if you just knocked me out?” Kai asked. “It’s a good way to get me inside your home without Maya thinking that I’ve teamed up with you.”
Emily tilted her head. “Are you sure?”
Kai shrugged. “I’ve passed out plenty of times before.”
Emily let out a small laugh. “You’re weird, you know that?” she said. Before Kai could respond, Emily threw him down.
While he was falling, Kai laughed, too. “You’re just as weird as me,” he said to himself, before he hit the ground and lost consciousness.
Meanwhile, unknown to anyone else, Maya was watching the scene unfold from an area inside of her Stand. “I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you’re gaining the enemies’ trust, Kai,” she said to herself. “However, you aren’t getting back to your world unless you give me the head of Gionna Giovanna.”
***
A muffled voice. As Kai regained consciousness, he heard a muffled voice. He slowly opened his eyes, the light blinding him before he adjusted to it. As he continued waking up, the voice that was talking cleared up. Kai noticed that it sounded like Emily, but he still couldn’t make out what she was saying. It sounded like she was speaking in a different language.
He tried to move from his spot, but he was paralyzed. No, that wasn’t right. He could move very slightly, but if he tried moving any more, the bindings all around his body would restrict him. Kai also apparently made a small noise, because all four heads suddenly turned to him. Besides Emily, there was a boy with black hair, a boy with brown hair, and a person with dark purple hair.
Emily walked around to the back of the chair Kai was sitting in. “How long have you been awake?” she asked as she undid the rope that held him down.
“Not that long,” Kai said. Once his restraints were lifted, he stood up and stretched his arms out. “What’s everyone’s names?”
The other three furrowed their eyebrows and tilted their heads.
“Oh, giusto!” Emily said. “Ragazzi, non capite il giapponese. Kai sta chiedendo i vostri nomi.”
The others’ confused looks went away.
“Lucio,” the black-haired boy said.
“Marco,” the brown-haired boy said.
“Nadia,” the purple-haired person said.
“Pleased to meet you all.” Kai stood up from his chair and bowed. “I’m sorry about causing you worry with Gionna.”
Emily translated once again for everyone else. Nadia said something that Kai didn’t understand.
“They’re saying not to worry about it,” Emily told Kai. “You did what you had to do.”
Kai looked back up, letting his muscles relax. Once he sat back down, everyone else started to talk to each other, leaving Kai unable to communicate with anyone else. I at least wish I could talk with Emily more, he thought to himself.
After a little while, Emily turned back to Kai. “So, right now, our plan is to, well, come up with one between Nadia, Marco, Lucio, and I, then tell you about it to see if you have any additions to make. Also, Lucio said that if you wanted a more comfy place to hang out, you could go to his room and rest there.”
“Thanks,” Kai said, and left for the hallway. Once he started to leave, the others started talking. While he was walking down the hall, looking at the rooms, he saw Gionna sleeping in her bed. She’s alone right now, he thought to himself. If I want to get back home as quickly as possible, now would be the perfect time. His pace slowed a bit as he found himself lost in thought, before shaking his head and putting his focus back on finding Lucio’s room. I’m not going to kill someone who doesn’t deserve it, even if that means I’ll never go home.
Luckily for Kai, everyone had labels on their room, and he had paid attention in English class enough to read the romanized alphabet. He read the letters; M-A-R-C-O, L-U-C-I-O, N-A-D-I-A. Marco, Lucio, and Nadia. Kai entered Lucio’s room, and laid down on the bed. “This is the worst,” he mumbled.
“If you want it to end, you have the power to make it end right now,” Maya’s voice said. Kai jolted up, seeing Maya close up the sky that she likely just opened to arrive. “Gionna’s alone right now.”
“Maya!” Kai exclaimed.
“Look, thinking of a plan to trick me into thinking that you’ve killed Gionna won’t work, because I can spy on you whenever I want,” Maya said. “If you want to get back to your world, you’ll have to take a life. Whether that happens or not depends on you.”
Once Maya was done talking, footsteps started to make their way down the hall. “Well, it looks like I have to go,” Maya continued. “If you ever decide to actually take Gionna’s life, I’ll support you however I can. See you soon!”
And just like that, Maya opened up the ground and left, leaving no sign she was ever there in the first place.
Suddenly, a knock came from the other side of the door. “Kai?” Emily’s voice said. “Are you in there?”
“Huh? Yeah, I’m here,” Kai said, heart still beating. “You can come in.”
Emily opened up the door, and her eyebrows immediately furrowed. “Is everything okay?”
Do I really look that freaked out? “Oh, yeah, I’m fine.” Kai said, forcing himself to smile. “I just saw a bug and it freaked me out a bit.”
“Oh, yuck,” Emily laughed. “Well, the rest of us came up with a plan, if you’d like to hear about it.” She nudged her head towards the door, beckoning for Kai to follow her. Kai got up from the bed and walked behind Emily as she started talking.
I can’t give anything away, Kai thought to himself. I have to look like I haven’t seen Maya yet. If they know Maya can spy on me whenever, it’ll put all of us at a disadvantage. I’ll have to act like their plan will work, and come up with something on my own.
“So, right now, our plan is to create some fake blood, and spill it all over Gionna’s bed,” Emily said. “We’ll probably spill some on you, too, so that Maya can be more convinced you killed her. How good are you with acting?”
“I’m… decent?”
“Do you think you can act shell-shocked?”
“I guess so.”
“Good.” Emily smiled. “Once we get the preparations ready, you go find Maya and tell her that you killed Gionna. Make sure to act like you’re utterly terrified with what you did, so she’ll believe you easier.”
Kai nodded. “How long do you think preparations will take?”
“Oh, not that long. I’d say just long enough for me to ask all the questions I’m dying to ask.”
Kai let out a laugh. “You’re not the only one who’ll be asking, you know.”
“Well, since you’re on board with this idea, I’ll tell the others.” Emily patted Kai on the back, then stood up and turned to everyone else, once again speaking in what Kai thought was Italian. While she was talking, Kai thought of ways to defeat Maya on his own. I have to be able to use Maya’s ability to appear anywhere to my advantage, but how? She can spy on me whenever, and is probably watching me right now. I can’t let her know I’m figuring something out on my own.
Kai decided to zone back in just as Nadia and Lucio were leaving. Lucio was waving a hand with a smile on his face, and Emily was rolling her eyes with the same smile.
“You seem to be really good friends with… Lucio, I think his name is,” Kai said once they left.
Emily scoffed. “Oh, please, he annoys me to no end.” She sat back down, and eagerly turned to Kai. “Enough about me, though. You’re from another world. That’s so much more interesting than my life.”
And from there, the two shared lots of different parts of their life. Kai learned that in this world, there was a woman named Lily who married Kakyoin, and the two of them had Emily. She told Kai about Morioh and a man named Yoshikage Kira, about how he brutally murdered Lily. She told him about Daichi, and about Giorno Giovanna, and about how she got into this mess in the first place.
While the two were talking, Kai was thinking through his plan. If I can attack while others are present, they can attack Maya, too. I don’t know what everyone’s Stands do, but I at least know that Emily can restrain her. It just might be what I need to bargain my way back to my world.
Sometime during their chat, Kai noticed Nadia and Gionna uncovering a rug and opening a trapdoor on the floor. So that’s where she is, he thought.
“Huh,” Emily said. “That’s something new.”
Kai tilted his head.
“I’m fairly new here,” Emily continued, “so I don’t know about everything they have. I had no clue there was a trapdoor there.”
After some time, Nadia came back out by themself, then covered the trapdoor up with the rug again. They said something in Italian, and Emily nodded.
“We’re almost ready,” she told Kai.
“Well, if we don’t get another chance, I just want to say that it was nice meeting you,” Kai said. “I wish I could’ve met you in different circumstances.”
“Same here.” Just as Emily finished her sentence, Lucio came up and spoke to Emily. She stood up, telling Kai that they were ready. He stood up with her, and the two walked back to Gionna’s room with Lucio. When they got there, Marco flicked a dark red liquid all over Kai.
“How do I look?” Kai asked Emily.
“Like a murderer,” Emily said, “but not a regretful murderer.”
“Oh! Right,” Kai said. He changed his expression, making his eyes go wide, looking at the ground.
“Oh, wow, that’s amazing!” Emily laughed. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you actually killed her.”
“I guess we’re ready, then,” Kai sighed, shaking his body. “Let’s hope this works.” And let’s hope I can keep up this act whenever I come back.
As everyone was walking to their rooms, Kai left the house, walking a ways away from it. Once he was far enough away, Maya opened up the sky and landed on the ground.
“I see you didn’t let your friends know about me,” she said. “I’m guessing you’re ready to kill?”
Kai nodded, keeping his expression the same. “I’m ready.”
“Good!” Maya chirped. “I’ll help you however I can, then.”
And that’s going to be your downfall, Kai thought to himself. Maya fell through the ground again, and Kai started slowly walking back. Once he got back, he opened and closed the front door louder than usual, hoping to alert the others. Sure enough, Emily and Marco appeared from the hall entrance.
“It didn’t work?” Emily asked.
Kai slowly shook his head. “There’s only one other thing I can do in this situation,” he said, then summoned Dedun. The Stand’s hand formed into a ball and chain, then it slammed into the floor right under the rug, breaking the trapdoor. Kai quickly jumped down the chute and ran away from Walking on Sunshine’s range before Emily realized what was happening.
Making his way into the basement, Kai realized why Nadia was okay with him seeing the secret trapdoor. To call the place a labyrinth wouldn’t be an exaggeration. Still, he couldn’t hesitate in going every which way to look for Gionna, because to stay still would be worse than getting lost.
“Turn left here,” Maya’s voice said. It sounded like she was speaking from Kai’s back. Startled, Kai stopped running and put a hand on his back, feeling a small hole in his clothes.
“I can place my portals anywhere I want, and I don’t necessarily have to travel between them if I don’t want to,” Maya continued. “I know where Gionna is being hidden, and so I’ll guide you there. Turn left here.”
Kai did as he was told, steering himself left. He kept running in the same direction before Maya said, “Turn right.” Kai obeyed, and turned right. He continued like this, turning when Maya said so, until he saw Emily, Marco, and Nadia running from the other side. Nadia said something in a panic, then the three turned into a corridor.
“I’m sure you don’t need me anymore, huh?” Maya said, then went silent. Kai turned where the others did, and saw them surrounding Gionna.
“Give up, Kai!” Emily shouted. “You’re outnumbered!”
“He may be outnumbered right now, but I can change that,” Maya’s voice said. A portal opened right above the three, and she suddenly grabbed Nadia, pulling them up into the portal and closing it.
After Nadia disappeared, Kai started slowly approaching Emily and Marco. He summoned Dedun, forming his hand into a sword. Emily stood right in front of Gionna, screaming, “Don’t do it!”
“What choice do I have?” Kai screamed back. “I can’t stay here forever!”
“I don’t want to kill you!” Tears started to form in Emily’s eyes. “Don’t make me kill you!”
Kai didn’t answer, instead continuing to approach. He could see an aura around Marco, signaling that he summoned his Stand, and suddenly, Kai ran into an invisible wall. He blinked a few times, trying to get a hold of his surroundings. Once he did, he slowly reached his hands out, trying to understand what happened. Sure enough, his hands pressed against that same wall, but he realized that there was a light pink tint to it.
Once he had a feel for what was happening, he brought a plan into action. He had Dedun’s sword morph into a ball and chain again, swinging it into the shield that blocked him. Each time, the ball made a loud boom, threatening to break the barrier. Behind the others watching carefully, Kai saw Maya sneak up behind Marco.
Maya said something in Italian, and Marco jumped. Suddenly, Kai’s attacks made a crack in the barrier. However, his plan was never to break the wall. His plan was to lure Maya out from hiding.
“Now’s your chance!” Kai shouted. “Restrain her!”
Emily stood still for a moment, but quickly summoned Sunshine and lifted Maya up and away from the portal she made before she could escape.
“You…” Maya growled, scowling at Kai. “You tricked me!”
“And you used me to do your dirty work,” Kai said. “I’d say we’re even now.”
Emily, still holding Maya in the air, immediately became more relaxed. She spoke to Marco, who spoke back. The two kept talking, until Marco sighed, saying one more thing. Suddenly, the light pink wall in front of Kai disappeared, and he calmly walked forward, calling back Dedun.
As Kai continued to walk, Emily sat down on the floor as she talked to Maya. Maya continued to have an air of confidence at first, but it quickly started breaking the more Emily spoke. Eventually, Nadia was dropped from a portal, and another portal opened up. This one showed an image of Jotaro, Kakyoin, Joseph, Avdol, and Polnareff, along with a dog that Kai had never seen before.
Once Kai got a good look at the other side of the portal, he looked back up and nodded. “Yup, this is my world.”
“So this is where we say goodbye?” Emily asked.
Kai nodded. “I guess it is.”
“Well, then it was really cool meeting you!” Emily said. “I’ll never forget about you, so you better not forget about us!”
Kai looked back at everyone, giving a small laugh. “Don’t worry about that. It’s hard to forget a bunch like you guys!” he said. And with that, he jumped in the portal as it closed right behind him. He didn’t fall for long before he landed in the sand.
“Everyone! I’m back!” Kai shouted. The rest of the group didn’t move from their spots and didn’t speak either, instead just looking back, horrified.
“What’s wrong?” Kai asked, walking towards the others. “Come on, it’s me, you know that!” He suddenly stopped, realizing what could be going on.
Was I sent to the wrong world?
The more Kai thought about it, though, the less it seemed likely. If Kai was a stranger to these guys, they would’ve immediately gone on the defensive. No, something else was going on. He looked around, then noticed Kakyoin completely passed out, with blood dripping from his eyes.
“Oh, god, Noriaki!” Kai shouted. “What happened to Noriaki?”
“Kai, look out!” Avdol shouted. Kai looked back at the man, seeing that he was running straight for him. Avdol tackled Kai, and suddenly, Kai saw a stream of water cut off a piece of Avdol’s neck. Before he could process anything, though, he hit his head on the sand just right, and passed out.

★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・
。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。
Life moves so fast. Too fast, for your liking. Maybe it's because your childhood wasn't the nicest, so you have wallowed in the sadness it brought you too much that you weren't aware of time, or the fact that you were so wrapped up in one future, you thought your life depended on nothing but academic purpose. At least then. Or maybe it's because you never realized how much you've wanted to do in your life until three years ago. You're still young, though a young adult, and you shouldn't be worried about the consequences of things you never did. Though, maybe they would affect you later on.
It's always been overwhelmingly depressing when you realize you can't relate to that flurrery feeling every one of your classmates told you about when bungee jumping or simply touching a manta ray. Never have you had the chance to visit a very famous amusement park because of how expensive it was. All of that would make you the odd one out in any friend group, which is why you never bothered to start a close friendship with someone.
However, this year was different. Let aside the fact that you missed out on all your school year's material, you experienced something far more exciting than anyone's ever had. Your mind still finds itself boggled by the sudden event. One second you're with your classmate who you knew nothing about at the time, and the next he's in jail, and you're with his grandfather trying nag get him out.
You can't even bring yourself to comprehend how you even got a grip on the whole situation, how you managed to have yourself thrown into the formula, from going to Egypt and saving Miss Holly, to fighting Dio and even almost dying with Kakyoin and Avdol who are currently in different hospitals. It all still feels so surreal.
Unconsciously, as you reminisce, your fingers brush the large scar that lays unveiled on the surface of your forearm, reaching from your wrist to your cheek, a few scabs still blanketing random edges on it. Soon, your hands found themselves reaching your currently broken and cast ankle. Your crutches lay limp on your leg. Your skin is cold, and so is the wind hitting it. For May, this is probably the longest it has taken to become warm.
"Oi, yn." You're snapped out of your daze when a certain deep voice calls out to you, a coherent tinge of worry trailing at the end of the person's greeting.
The all-familiar, stinging scent of cologne immediately assures you of who this person is. You let out a sigh, dipping your head down, eyes closed, a delightful sense of relief washing over you.
"Hey, Jojo. Thanks," you greet as you take a weak hold of the beer can your companion bought you. After a while of shuffling, both of you got your backs comfortable on the strong walls of the school's roof, taking in the cool wind as it brushes through your hair. The sun is set, but there is still a bit of sunlight left, it mixes beautifully with the soft white streetlights and spots of yellow, red and blue in the far distance which homes and billboards emit. If you focus enough, you can see a light silhouette of hills.
Jojo. Jotaro kujo. You recite that name on your tongue every night, sometimes in fear you might forget it. Some of his admirers despise you for it. For having the advantage of calling out to him whenever you want and he'd answer you, and only you. Your classmates say you're extremely lucky, like you've won a million-dollar bet for being his first and closest female friend. He's never down to open up, but from your experience, he's desperate for any type of companionship. However, the so-called advantages were never what this was all about for you. If it was, you'd know barely anything about each other, and you're glad you could become more than just classmates after the whole Egypt thing. To you, his friendship depended and revolved more around trust and means of comfort than just mainly using him for safety and assumed attention. The fact that he's truly a hard to crack shell of a man—that you somehow managed to turn into ash the moment you told him to 'get the fuck out of the jail room, you look ridiculous' —never mattered to you more than how closer you wish to get to him. Focusing in front of you again you watch the colors of the clouds merge with the dark purple of the sky. The stars are already out, and a beautiful half-moon is shining brighter than ever. You pout, disappointed of the incoming inability to see it in full display due to the sky's current cloudy state.
"Old man called me yesterday." You turned your head to Jotaro, eyes immediately locking with his. Just the simple fact that both of you go out of your ways to fully focus on each other makes your relationship all the more mutual. Jotaro, especially, he's never felt as easy with anyone as he has with you, and kakyoin, too, but he'd never say it directly to any of you . At night, when he's lost in his thought, he finds himself thinking of you. How kind you are and how you never seem to see the bad in anything despite having a bad past. He'd never admit it let alone say it with his tongue but he tries to take advantage of that kindness, in a way to make sure nothing will happen to you. He can't afford to lose anyone else. He also doesn't know if the fact that he thinks of you is more embarrassing, or the fact that he secretly wants to let his walls down in front of you one day. The thought comforts him, but, as usual, he's too meek about it, since there were many times his 'kindness' would be misunderstood as romantic intent. Well, he's doubting that, anyways, specifically with you.
"hm?" you reply, taking a sip of the refreshing drink in your hand. Your fingers wrap around each other, holding the can in a tight and secure grip. You're prone to dropping your drinks now and then, so you found this to be the most practical way of 'protecting them'. Yes, you look stupid when you end up dropping them either way. You two always get a good laugh from it, so at least there isn't any embarrassment happening.
"He was wondering if you wanted to stay with us for a couple more weeks. Mom misses you already." Jotaro exhales, smoke filling the air around you and mixing with his musky cologne to create an unbearable scent you never wanted to forget. The mention of Mr. Joestar for the third time this month makes your eyes widen. It was all for the same reason too. You lived alone for a long time now, and you've gotten very used to the lonely and eerie feeling of your dark home at night. However, of course, after meeting the Joestars, Joseph couldn't possibly leave you without pampering you so much, especially after helping with saving his precious daughter. You were grateful. You always are for what he does for you, but just enough for him to make you basically live with him is something you can't quite afford. Not money-wise, it's just that you don't have anything to give them in return, and offering your life also meant living with them. The cycle goes on.
With a grunt, you twist your form to face Jotaro, your hands pushing hard on the floor to support your frail physique.
"Jojo...I really appreciate it, but I have things to do at my house. I need to clean it, take care of the food that's been in the fridge for almost a month now. Maybe another time, but I really don't want to trouble you guys like this. You've done way too much for me already," you excuse, trying your best to scoot closer to your friend. As a final task for the day, you set yourself up on your knees and wrap your arms around the much larger man, patting him on the back a couple of times before planting a heavy peck on his forehead. "And you can stop worrying about me so much now, Joot. I'm really fine, thanks to you." A warm smile graces your lips as you speak your soft words to Jotaro, seeing his panicked eyes slowly close as he scoffs, pushing you away and hiding his rose-tinted face with the shadow of his hat.
"I'm still walking you home."
As much as you want to, you can't complain with a broken ankle. Who knows what might happen if you're too slow with walking? Over his dead body will Jotaro Kujo let anyone lay a finger on you...
~~~~~~~~~
The slow crunching of pebble and dust under heavy boots and the repetitive melody of crickets in the grass is enough to get you woozy in the freezing weather of tonight. The wind started picking up a long while ago, and you fear it might get worse before you reach your home. Clouds are grey and dull as they sway in a quick pace in the blue-black sky. The vigorous rustling of trees makes your ears tingle. Your pores are open with sweat, the droplets slowly trickling down your face and quickly drying out. Your arms over your crutches, your stomach hurting from excessive contraction, your breath becomes heavy, and your chest begins to hurt. It's been well over 20 minutes since you guys have been walking, and you're starting to hate yourself for letting Jotaro deal with your snail-paced struggle on a day like this.
Without a word, you sigh, then slowly crouch down to reach the floor. However, from how your ankle is positioned, the momentum you pushed yourself down with was faster than you anticipated, and you gasp. Bracing yourself for impact, you let go of your crutches hastily, spreading your arms in front of you to prepare support. Your eyes close tightly and you clench your stomach, a second away from hitting the concrete before feeling a soft barrier holding you up. Slowly, you open your eyes again, to find none other than Jotaro, encasing you in his large, jacket-cushioned arms. Without a chance to react, you feel yourself getting pulled up, hoisted up a millimeter high and huddled in your friend's arms again only this time in a better position for him to be able to swing your legs over to the side.
"Good grief, woman. What the hell were you doing?!" At this position, you can clearly hear the growl in Jotaro's voice. Heck, his breath is right in your ear. Inevitably, you shiver, letting out a huff of air. You feel yourself blush out of embarrassment when he gives you a side eye and you prepare to find a good answer to his question.
"Sorry, I wanted to sit down a bit...I uh..wasnt expecting to...fall-"
"Whatever, just stop talking or you'll die. And you're freezing ," Jotaro interrupts, leaning down to grab your crutches, still holding onto you. His head rests on your shoulder as he bends down, his fingers curling with ease around the handles.
Still shocked from the sudden ordeal, you start shuffling in Jotaro's arms, earning a grunt from him.
"Stay still, yn, for fuck's sake!"
"I-I can still walk on my own, JoJo!"
Annoyingly, or rather, smugly, Jotaro ignores your comment, only dragging his disagreement further by hoisting you up further so your figure is tucked snuggly between his arms. This proves his previous comment of how cold you actually are, seeing as you immediately melt into his arms, eyes almost instantly closing as you sigh, taking in the comfortable warmth of the thick fabric of his clothes.
when you look back at him, you decide not to complain any more when he raises an eyebrow at you and lets out chuckle. You just stare at the fading stars, keeping the image of his rare smile in your head along your little journey.
As you space out, your eyes having no place to stay still as the clouds move endlessly, you shake your head, feeling the pain in the back of your head from how dizzy you've become. This world is too big for even eyes to bear. you let out a mall sigh, the incoming comfort quickly cut off as you gasp. A wet droplet found its way on your nose uninvited. You look at Jotaro, expecting to see his face dotted with a bit if sweat, but that wasn't the case. Another droplet, and a third, and soon you see one slip off from Jotaro's hat. Oh... Ooooh...
Oh shit.
You gasp once more, suddenly sitting up and causing Jotaro to retract his head with a grunt.
"What the hell?!"
"Jojo it's raining!"
"And..?! Jeez you overreact."
With a pout, you hit the top of your friend's head, earning a stutter from him.
"C-can you walk a bit faster..? I can't have you getting sick, " you complain, clutching onto the chain dangling from JoJo's collar as a way to nudge him into agreeing to your order.
"That's not happening, y/n just sit back down-" As if to mock him, the clouds let out a loud clap of thunder, The rain quickly picking up with the wind. As fast as this happened, you and Jotaro are now almost drenched in water. You cross your arms, looking up at Mcedgy with a smug expression on your face.
He sighs heavily, tugging the brim of his hat and letting out his famous
"Good grief..." before wrapping his jacket around you like a stolen package and trudging quickly. A few moments pass before he starts to run.
Surprisingly, your house isn't that far away anymore. You'd expect that from someone twice your height running. Currently, your friend is huffing, occasionally spitting excess water away from his mouth.
"We're here."
He stops running, just jogging his way around a building before setting you down on the floor, waiting until you regained balance to give you your crutches back. You hiss at how cold the air is, your body quickly shivering.
You quickly find your keys from your pocket before limping to your front door and opening it with a satisfying click, taking your single wet shoe off and stepping into your house, again, cringing because of how cold the floor has gotten. As you manage to trudge to pull a shawl you found hanging on a chair, you turn back to the door, facing Jotaro again.
"Thanks for walking me here JoJo. It was definitely a pain, I'm sorry," you apologize, a wide smile on your face, rubbing the back of your neck.
"It's fine," says Jojo, already lighting his third cigarette of the day and placing it between his lips.
There's a long silence between the two of you, the heavy sound of rain and occasional thunder being the only thing breaking it. Your breaths are heavy because of the weather, and you do nothing but stare at each other. It seems none of you want to turn away for some reason. both of you are worried for each other. It takes another while before any of you finally move, Jotaro shuffling off of the steps in front of your door and turning around with a small farewell.
You, knocked out of your trance, call out to him again, making him stop. Now in your garden, completely soaked, Jotaro turns his head to you. His cigarette is barely lit anymore.
"Umm...I just realized your house is too far away," you start, catching your friend's attention. He slowly walks back to you, shoving his hands in his pockets. He only hums in response.
"Uh...I just...don't want you walking all that way again, and further so why-"
"I'm not coming inside your house," Jotaro cuts you off, causing you to stutter and blink a couple of times. However, you've already made up your mind and there's no way you're turning back now.
"No, JoJo, you are, and I'm serious right now!," you protest, trying your best to sound strict as you walk to take a hold of Jotaro's arm with your free one and pulling him under the dry safety of your door. When he realized he stepped in with his shoes, he quickly retreats, pulling on his hat and looking away.
"JoJo...!"
Jeez, you're so naïve. Little do you know, Jotaro is only concerned about causing you any harm. He'd rather shrivel up and die from hypothermia than have you affected by him. But...refusing is never an option with you at this point. If anything, he doubts you won't end up following him until he's already at his own house, still trying to nag him further. He grunts, shaking his head then looking back to you.
"Jesus, fine."
Your face quickly lights up with a smile, and you drag Jotaro inside your house —with a limp—and make him take his jacket off. As much as he somewhat doesn't want to be here, Jotaro sighs in relief, shuddering at the warmth of your home.
Star Dust Crusaders | Bodyswap Headcanons
Jotaro Kujo
- The two of you were heading out to buy some cold beverages when you were hit with the stand attack that wasn’t even all that surprising seeing as Dio had sent non-stop, relentless attacks against you all ever since your journey had began. What was surprising was the stand’s effects however.
- When you staggered backwards, you had unfortunately hit your head against a stop street sign that hurt more than you wanted to admit. There was some shock though, as you hadn’t bashed against the pole of the sign but the actual image it displayed it’s self - something you were sure you were too short to reach. “How the hell?” You muttered to yourself while rubbing the back of your hair, pausing when you realised how freakishly different your hair felt. Not to mention, when you looked down, those were definitely not your clothes.
- “You tell me.” A voice- Your voice responded, your own eyes glaring at you yet from a much lower angle. Shit, you were tall. Or, was this body tall? If you had to guess by your fashion, height and the fact you could see yourself and not Jotaro; well the dots were easy to connect.
- “Fuck, I’m you!” “No shit.” “Why the hell are you so god damn tall?” “That’s your issue?”
- “Ugh, suck my dick.” You groaned at his tone, already hating the situation. A guy was in your body and though you knew Jotaro wasn’t the shifty type, it was still uncomfortable to think about.
- “Don’t you mean my dick?”
- Ah, he shouldn’t have said that. The two of you both stared at each other in awkward silence, Jotaro visibly regretting what he had let slip and you, slowly starting to laugh. Your laughter was a strange sound seeing as it sounded way deeper than your original one. This must be what Jotaro sounded like when he laughed … it was nice.
- Jokingly, you wagged your brows, “does this mean you want me to whip it out?” If it wasn’t your face, you’d die of laughter at the distraught Jotaro showed, followed with a hint of fluster.
Noriaki Kakyoin
- “Now, don’t freak out,” Kakyoin tried to soothe, hands holding out to stop you from doing anything rash which didn’t work too well when even he was panicking internally. After all, the one he had to comfort had his face.
- “There’s no way I can’t, I’m… I’m you! You’re me!” Of all the times to be in a stand user’s way, why did it have to be this one ? And w h y did this weird strand of hair keep getting into your mouth?! Seriously, how does Kakyoin manage to look so cool with this pest in his face all the time?
- That wasn’t the only problem though, no. You just had to swap bodies with someone you not only thought of as cool and amazing, but freakishly handsome too. Yet you were convinced you were anything but that. Bending down, you took hold of the jacket on your body, one that Kakyoin’s mind was currently in. “What are you doing?” He asked with a confused look, watching you zip up the jacket which was horribly confusing since he had to watch his own hands fix a jacket that wasn’t even his own.
- “Zipping your- my jacket! Just don’t pay too much attention to me, ok? I’m such a mess,” you mumbled, fumbling with the zipper. Gah, you weren’t used to having such long and thin fingers. Kakyoin in return narrowed his brows, his temporarily smaller hands going over your’s.
- “Don’t start with that [First Name], you’re perfect the way you are. How we look is not our biggest problem anyways, we need to find that stand user and quick.” As much as you didn’t want to say it, he was right. You couldn’t focus on this, not when you didn’t know how permanent this situation could be. Nodding, you agreed.
- Kakyoin then smiled, a hand placing it’s self on your shoulder. [He died a little inside when he realised he had to go on his tip toes to do this.] “Come on, after all this I’ll treat us to something nice.”
Joseph Joestar
- “OH MY GO-” Joseph tried to yell but stopped abruptly when he realised how horribly strange it sounded in your voice. Of all the days you both agreed to team up, this had to be the one.
- While he was panicking in your body, you were staring at yourself in a mirror’s reflection, flexing your arm with an interested look. The way his muscles tensed and relaxed was way too good not to admire, not when his short sleeves left little to the imagination. Even for his age, this man seriously looked good and you couldn’t even try to hide that thought from him; so you didn’t. With a low whistle, you found a new pose to show off the Joestar’s muscles in, “not bad, old man. Guess you don’t skip gym day even on a retirement plan.”
- Joseph had to double take at your comment. “I’m not that old, and I sure as hell am not retiring anytime soon!” He argued, huffing before storming up to you and shoving you away from the mirror. Admittedly, he was pleasantly surprised by your praise to his physique and it really did get to his head, “you can stare all you want at my body later when we’re not facing serious danger, just get a move on now!”
- Raising a brow at the comment, you smirked to yourself as you watched your own body try to push the one you were in currently. Wonder how it felt for him. The guy would probably get a kick out of it if he just let him relax like you were. “Is that a promise? ‘Cause you can have front row tickets to your own show if you really want, Mr Joestar.” You cooed, dropping a formal title as though you weren’t suggesting something incredibly personal at all. At least it got a good reaction out of him, seeing as he paused his efforts to get you moving to stare at you with surprise. This then made you laugh, a gloved finger then moving to gently press his nose to pull him out of his dazed state. “Just kidding, pervert.”
- After that, you started to walk off ahead of him as he tried to collect his thoughts, his final reaction leaving him grumbling over what a damn tease you are and that there was no way he’d settle for the treatment you had just given him.
Mohammed Avdol
- Neither of you were too panicked by the situation thankfully, but there was still an awkwardness between you. Luckily, neither of you were the type to get too handsy and experimental with your comrade’s body so there was a strong bond of trust.
- “Doesn’t all this clothing get uncomfortable in the heat?” You questioned while on your search for the stand user, making a gesture to his body which was your’s for the time being. It was insanely hot and though you were sure you had a little bit of his endurance, the heat was agonising. “Even your stand uses fire! Doesn’t it bother you at all?”
- Avdol chuckled in response to that, his laugh not being nearly as satisfying and fun to hear as it sounded more like you than the man himself. Shaking his head, he answered casually, “I don’t mind much at all. I was raised in the heat and when you are brought up like that, you grow accustomed to it. Magician’s Red’s ability doesn’t affect me at all either, seeing as he is my stand.” He enjoyed answering your many questions you always seemed to have for him, it made him feel wise and secretly savoured every second the two of you spent alone together. Not only were you good company, but you were deeply treasured in his heart. That was something for another day however.
- “Really?” You were surprised that he could stand this at all. It was already becoming bothersome for you. Instinctively, you took a hold of the bottom of his shirt and pulled it forwards and backwards to make some air flow across your stomach and chest. While doing so, you looked down for a split second to really take in the fact that you were in a whole other person’s body and your breath hitched at the short glimpse you had of his chest. You knew this man was healthy but you had no idea he was that fit. Wasn’t he like a semi-pacifist sorta guy?!
- Your sudden silence had concerned Avdol, leading him to questioning you. “Are you alright, [First Name]?” He was too much of a sweetheart to be real. You forced a smile and nodded, humming a happy reply. The best you could do really when you were too ashamed and surprised that you had seen the body of a god.
- “Yeah I’m alright! Just checking out the hot body I mean weather! It’s like… really hot. So let’s find the stand user soon so I can feel cool again, haha!” Totally played it off well. Avdol seemed skeptical but he moved on, nodding in agreement with a determined look. You two really did have a goal to complete and fast.
- Even so, he knew what you had done and found it incredibly adorable how worked up it had got you.
Jean Pierre Polnareff
- The moment the shock of your minds switching bodies had subsided, Polanreff’s prioritises had gotten a little jumbled. His arms wrapped around his body, which really meant your’s, caressing each curve and swayed side to side with a dreamy expression. In fairness, he did feel like he was in a dream. He was in your body! It was so soft and perfect and whooo, did he mention soft? This chest was made for loving and supporting a head, and Polnareff was seriously looking for a pillow.
- “Ma cherie, you’re just so gorgeous! You’re so wicked to have kept this from me all this time,” he exaggeratedly complained while his hands still roamed his new, greatly admired body. You on the other hand, were a blushing mess who was trying to get him to stop.
- “Polnareff, please! We need to get going,” you insisted, trying to pull his arms away as you shut your eyes tight to avoid seeing his actions. One pro side of being in his body was adopting his incredible strength.
- “Ah, oui, we shall go! But please, I need to let you know there is no way I can pass up on admiring this.” Oh please someone stop him now. “I mean, have you seen this rump?” Almost screeching, you slapped a hand over his lips and shook your head quickly with a stressed look. You were going to die of shame before any of Dio’s henchmen or women would even get to your first.
- He stared up at you with confusion before finally letting it sink in just how crude he was being. It wasn’t like he whole heartedly meant to! He just really appreciated your appearance. “Sorry cherie, I suppose I went to far, hm? I just couldn’t help myself.”
- You, unable to stay mad at the french man for longer than even a day, sighed and waved it off, knowing he meant no real harm. “It’s alright but please, we really should try and find a way to revert to our original bodies.”
- “Of course!” He enthusiastically agreed, taking a hold of your hand before starting to march off to whatever direction he so needed to go to - meaning, a random one he picked and prayed for the best. “There’s no way I can truly engross myself with your perfections from a first person’s perspective! As soon as we’re in our bodies, you’ll be showing me everything, cherie!”
- Honestly, you were a little excited by that.
Iggy
- “AAAAAH.” “woof.” “AAAAH” “wOOF?!” “AAAAAA-” “WOOOOO-”
- mother fucker you are a dOG.
No One Lives Forever- CH3
(AO3 link)
Stardust Crusader Wolf Pack AU
[From the beginning- CH1]
<Previous Chapter Next Chapter>
Joseph always knew his grandson had a big heart to match that big body of his, he was a Joestar after all. But unlike his mother and his grandpa, Jotaro didn’t tend to wear his heart on his sleeve. He kept his emotions hidden, like how he would keep his eyes hidden behind that silly hat. So, Joseph isn’t surprised when Kakyoin rushes into the clearing by the cabin where he and Polnareff have been on guard and announces that Jotaro is bringing someone back with him from the fight. An injured someone.
What does surprise him is Kakyoin’s insistence that he and Pol make themselves scarce for the time being. Apparently Jotaro is still keyed up from the fight and it would be best not to disturb him and their mystery guest while he came down off the high of transforming and fighting. What could have bothered Jotaro so much that he wouldn’t want to see his own Grandpa after a fight?
He and Pol make themselves useful. For a while. Scouting around away from the cabin. Trying to pick up the scent of any others that may be in the area or getting too close to their new territory. Doing outside chores…. But there is only so much wood he can chop and haul! He’s dying to know what’s going on in the cabin!
Finally, Avdol makes his way out to where they were working- its all clear to come back to the cabin now but their guest is resting so please be quiet -Mr. Joestar! Well, that’s a little unfair. He’s not that much louder than Polnareff when he’s excited.
Entering the main lounge of the cabin he sees why Avdol called him out, and was right to do so. The domestic scene of his grandson and a woman he’s never met resting on the large couch by the fireplace has him slapping his hand over his mouth to prevent the “OH MY GOD!” from coming out. Oh, this calls for celebration! Hm, he may be getting ahead of himself here though.
Jotaro finally notices his presence in the room and he see’s the boy’s muscles jump and fists clench like he’s going to leap right out of his seat. Yeah, his instincts are still in overdrive. The need to protect this new potential mate too great to ignore, especially after fighting to bring her to safety. He’ll have to be delicate in how he breaches this subject. Jotaro may be academically and strategically savvy, but his emotional intelligence leaves something to be desired.
Perhaps it would be best to not talk about it directly.
Joseph makes his way to the overstuffed armchair across from the couple on the couch. Enough space between the alpha wolves to be comfortable but still have a conversation. He gets a better look at the mystery woman as he studies the scene more closely. She was a looker alright, but the bandages and smell of blood lingering in the air is disturbing to him, he can only imagine how Jotaro is feeling behind that emotional wall he builds up. “Did I ever tell you the story about how your great Uncle Caesar and I defeated the Proto-Fae?”
“Only every chance you get.” Jotaro smirks as he shakes his head and leans back into the couch.
Joseph just laughs, “Well yes, I suppose I tell that one often. But have I ever told you about the time one of them almost killed your grandma Suzie?”
Jotaro’s breathing stutters to a halt and his eyes narrow on his grandpa.
“Relax, relax. I saved her. It all worked out in the end. But now you know the end of the story let me tell you the beginning and the middle.” Joseph settles further back into the chair and Jotaro subconsciously copies his move.
“It was the day after I had defeated the 2nd Proto-Fae, Esidisi. I had just returned from the battle to the main rooms, but what I didn’t know was that the parasite had attached himself to me and hitched a ride inside and out of the sun! The bastard was nothing but a pile of nerves, like a jellyfish! He snuck away without me realizing he was there and the next thing I know, he’s possessed poor Susie Q.” Joseph sighs and runs a hand through his greying hair. He looks to the fire as he seems to gather himself.
“That fight. I had to fight Susie to save her from that beast. It was by far the worst fight I’ve ever been in. The first time I smelled her blood, my instincts just went into overdrive. Up until that day I had only passingly considered courting her, I wasn’t ready for a mate and the whole ‘Beasts taking over the world’ thing was going on. But she was in danger. And suddenly I knew that I had to be the one to save her, I had to keep her safe, keep her close always.”
He leans back again and claps his hands to his knees quietly, “I did end up outsmarting the bastard a second time with Caesars help- had to wait for the sun to come up and enter the room before I could fling him off of her and watch him burn. The next day was the second hardest day in my life, I had to leave her to recover by herself to fight the last two monsters.” Joseph sigs again looking a little deflated and more his age. “I swore to her I’d come back for her.” His mood suddenly shifts as he exclaims, “Ha, what she didn’t know was that I promised myself that if I did die, I was going to come back as a ghost and haunt her anyway!”
“Ah, but you know the rest of the story from there. We fight the last two, we all live, everything works out in the end. But those two days. Those two are the worst days of my life. Now,” Joseph leans forward and nods to the still sleeping woman, “I’m not saying that’s what’s going on with you, but finding a possible mate – especially when they need you – it will drive your instincts crazy. Pay attention to your instincts, you have them for a reason.”
“Good grief. Is that what the point of that story was?” Jotaro shakes his head but doesn’t move to flee the area like Joseph anticipated he would if feelings were being discussed. He actually seems to relax further as he looks down at the woman sleeping on his lap. Jotaro looks at his hand holding hers like he just realized it was his own.
“That would explain… I killed the hunting group that did this to her. Even after they started to retreat. I didn’t slow down or stop to question who they were or why they were here. I… lost myself. The only thing I could think of was finding her again. Bring her back here, where she’d be safe.” Jotaro looks up again, searching his grandpas face for understanding. “Kakyoin met me halfway here.”
“Yes, he was the one to shoo Pol and I away.”’
“I didn’t want even Kakyoin to see her, no one should see her hurt. Vulnerable. I guess what I’m saying is, it makes a little more sense now. If my instincts are locked onto her being a possible mate.”
“You’re forgetting something though.” Jotaro raises and eyebrow at the older alpha. “You are a Joestar by blood. When we find a mate, that’s it. Think back, how many girls threw themselves at you growing up? Knowing you, you only ever felt annoyed by them, right? I’m not claiming to be an expert on everything going on in that noggin of yours, but like I said, listen to your instincts. Joestar instincts are never wrong about this kind of thing.”
Jotaro looks annoyed for a moment but ultimately just sighs and looks away with a nod. He gets the feeling his grandson is going to need more convincing later but for now its enough that he got the gears in motion. Whatever is going to happen is out of his hands now.
With that Joseph stands and makes his way to the kitchen to help Avdol with the food. Or just steal some of the meal being prepared and dash before he’s caught.
I’m... I’m...
Body swap scenario! I absolutely love these, and thought it would be fun to try out my own. I made a short fic for each of the Crusaders, but I would love to do these for other characters, and probably will. I would also like to point out that these interactions will be completely platonic. Okay, enough explanation! Enjoy!
The Stand’s attack sent you flying back, and it wasn’t until you hit a pole that you stopped.
“Ugh...” you grunted. You looked up from the pole that you had hit, and saw your body on the ground, still unmoving. No. You didn’t just die, did you? You looked down at your hands. Nope. Still normal. But they looked familiar. Not yours, but familiar. You gasped, frantically checking the clothes, face, and top of the head of the body you were in. This wasn’t you. “I’m... I’m...” You clamped your mouth shut. That was the voice of...
“Jotaro!”
You couldn't help but notice how bulky it felt in Jotaro's body. In a good way, of course. His arms and legs were toned to perfection, and you could feel the squeeze of his abs on your stomach. Or rather, his stomach.
Your body, which you could only assume had Jotaro’s soul trapped inside it, started to gradually get up. You quickly ran towards him, and tried helping him up. Or, was it her?
“Thanks, but I can get up myself.” It was extremely disassociating hearing your voice when you weren’t speaking. It seemed like Jotaro noticed something off, too, as his eyes (your eyes?) widened and he looked up, way up, to lock eyes with you.
“You’re not dead,” you reassured him. “You’re in my body.”
“I’m in your what?” Jotaro was showing small signs of panic, something you’d never seen before, as he started turning round and round, slapping his hands on his cheeks, and grabbing his arms and legs. After a while, he looked back at you. “Good grief, (Y/N), it wouldn’t hurt for you to hit the gym every once in a while. Your limbs are like twigs.”
You could feel heat rising to your cheeks, but you didn’t know if it was from embarrassment or anger. You didn’t even know how to respond to that. “Shut up! My physique is fine as it is!” Ooh. Those words sounded much more intimidating in Jotaro’s voice.
“Okay, but if you snap your arm handshaking someone, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“It only feels like that to you because you’re stronger than me,” you huffed. “In fact, I can probably pick you up with ease in this new body.”
“Don’t. You. Dare.” Jotaro glared you down, but in your body, it was far less intimidating. In fact, you had to hold back laughter from how silly it looked.
“What are you gonna do? I know my body’s limits, and I know it can do nothing to yours.”
“Because I have Star Platinum by my side,” Jotaro said. However, in attempt to show his Stand off, he summoned Ace of Pentacles instead. That could only mean one thing...
“Oh, ho, ho!” You looked Star Platinum in the eyes, then looked down at Jotaro smugly. “Looks like I have the almighty Stand now!”
Both Ace and Star looked a little confused and defensive at their user's body, as if they knew it was someone else.
"Don't worry, Star," you smiled. "It's me, (Y/N). And Ace, that's just Jotaro."
Both Stands seemed to accept that answer, and lowered their defenses. You crossed your arms, and smirked. "I can even calm Star Platinum better than you," you said to Jotaro. "What does that say about you as a Stand user?"
“Can you wipe that stupid grin off your face?” Jotaro asked. “It looks good on you, but not on me. Also, we need to find who did this, and fast.”
“Yeah, I agree,” you replied. “Although it’s nice being tough and strong, it’s weird feeling something between my thighs.”
This time, it was Jotaro’s turn to clench his teeth and blush. “I’m going to kill you once I have Star Platinum again,” he murmured.
“Oh, don’t act like you can’t feel a difference in your chest.”
“Anyway,” Jotaro quickly changed the subject, “we have to find the others and explain this situation. Let’s go.”
“Fine,” you laughed. Woah. You’ve never heard Jotaro’s voice laugh like you just did. It sounded nice, actually. “I can’t wait to see what Star Platinum feels like in action.”
“It’s super cool.”
“Guess I’ll find out when we get to our enemy.” You grabbed Jotaro and hoisted him up, which made him give out a small yelp, and immediately clamp his mouth.
“Yeah,” he said. “I’m not dealing with this body forever.”
Once you got to the hotel that everyone was staying in, it took a couple of protests to convince Joseph that you were really in each other’s bodies.
“You’re kidding,” Joseph laughed. “You’ve got to be kidding!”
“Mr. Joestar, I promise you, this is serious!” you told him.
“You’re doing pretty good, Jotaro,” Joseph replied. “I can’t believe you’d call me anything other than old man.”
“That’s because I didn’t, old man!” Jotaro growled. “We’re telling the truth! We had an encounter with an enemy!”
“Mr. Joestar,” Kakyoin said, “I think they’re serious. Look at the way they stand. The look in their eyes. The subtle stuff that they wouldn’t be able to catch if they were pranking us.”
Joseph looked up and down both of them, then muttered, “You're right. They do kinda look like their bodies have swapped.”
"Well," Avdol added, "there's only one way to reverse this, you know."
"Killing the user," you sighed.
"But it's getting late," Joseph told you. "We'll deal with it tomorrow."
"No!" Jotaro protested. "I'm not going to sleep in a girl's body!"
"I'd take your place, Jotaro," Polnareff snickered. He didn't realize that you had summoned Star Platinum and sent a punch straight to his face.
"Don't you EVER say something like that again!" you yelled. "I'm lucky I swapped bodies with Jotaro and not you!"
"Anyway," Kakyoin glared at Polnareff, who was rubbing his cheek, "how does it feel in a boy's body, (Y/N)? Just out of curiosity."
"Strange," you answered. "Really strange."
"What feels different?" Polnareff asked, a smug smile spread across his face.
"I don't really know how to answer that," you laughed. "I mean, how do you describe being in a body that's not yours? Surreal?"
"Old man, please, we have to find this guy tonight! I'm not sleeping in (Y/N)'s body." Jotaro begged Joseph. "Do you realize how awkward this is for both of us?"
“My mind has been made,” Joseph said. “We’re going to wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and ready to catch our Stand user!”
“Hey, I’m sure it won’t be that bad,” you consoled Jotaro, although you were unsure who you were trying to convince. “As long as you keep yourself fully clothed, it’ll be fine... I think.”
“Same goes for you,” Jotaro added. “I mean, I guess I don’t mind the shirt coming off, but the pants stay on.”
“That’s fair,” you said. “Well, goodnight, Jotaro.”
“Night.”
The two of you went to your hotel rooms, and when you closed the door, you sighed heavily. Being in another person’s body was exhausting. You turned to your bed, and saw Iggy, head tilted.
“Relax, Iggy, it’s me, (Y/N),” you chuckled. “Jotaro and I had an encounter with a Stand that swapped our bodies.”
You went to the bathroom to brush your teeth, which was really weird, since you were staring into the mirror at someone else’s reflection. When you were done, you jumped into your bed, which Iggy kept warm for you. Yawning, you curled up into your favorite sleeping position, and closed your eyes. The problem was, in Jotaro's body, you were far from comfortable in that position. You tried another one. Still uncomfortable. You kept trying all sorts of different positions that you hoped would work in this body, but no prevail. Eventually, you had tossed and turned so much Iggy decided it would be better to sleep on the floor. Groaning, you got up from bed, left your room, and knocked on Jotaro's door.
"What do you want?" you heard your voice from the other side.
"What sleeping position is the most comfortable for you?" you asked.
"I could ask you the same thing." Jotaro went to open the door, but didn't realize you were leaning on it. As soon as he opened it, you stumbled over and fell down right next to him.
"Hey, try to be a little more careful in my body," Jotaro said. "I don't want to come back to bruises and scars that were from something stupid like leaning on an opening door and falling over. Anyway, I usually sleep straight up, legs spread apart, arms to my sides."
After exchanging sleeping positions, you headed back to your room, where Iggy had fallen asleep on the floor. You tried the position that Jotaro told you, and noticed how comfortable it was in his body. Finally, you were able to go to sleep. Hopefully, this whole thing would be sorted out in the morning.
“Kakyoin!”
You had to be honest, even if he wasn’t as buff as the other men in the group, you could definitely feel a difference from your body and his. After all, he did carry some beef with him, and it was noticeable to you.
“Ugh, I think I hit my head too hard,” you heard your voice say. “My voice sounds all weird, and I feel really strange.”
Right. If you were in Kakyoin’s body, then Kakyoin was bound to be in your body. You kind of wanted to tell him the situation, but another part of you wanted to see him figure it out himself.
“Wait a minute,” he muttered. “This voice sounds familiar. And these hands look familiar.” He looked down at his (your) shirt, and gasped. “This is... (Y/N)’s body!” He looked up at you (him) in horror. “Tha-that’s... my... body...”
You nodded.
“And I’m... not in it...”
Again, you nodded.
“Why don’t you say something, (Y/N)?” Kakyoin shuddered. “You’re creeping me out.”
“There hasn’t been a need,” you answered.
“Fair,” he nodded. “Still! Aren’t you freaked out by this, too?” He got up and started moving his limbs back and forth. “It’s so...” he shivered in disgust. “I feel like a pervert in this body.”
“Don’t say it like that!” you exclaimed. “You’re making me imagine things that you’d do in my body I don’t want to imagine.”
“Sorry, sorry,” Kakyoin quickly apologized. “I didn’t mean it like that.”
“It’s okay,” you told him. “We should probably tell the others before we go off and try to find the Stand user ourselves.”
Kakyoin nodded in agreement, but before you headed off to the hotel, you heard him say, “Wait. Do we have each other’s Stands? Or do we keep the same Stand?”
“Well, only one way to find out,” you shrugged. Both of you summoned your Stands. Or, rather, each other’s Stands, because, sure enough, the Stands didn’t travel with you. You were able to harness Hierophant Green, and Kakyoin could wield Ace of Pentacles. And the Stands seemed to realize that whoever was in this body was not their user, but they were hesitant to do anything that would kill the intruder.
"Don't worry, Hierophant, I'm (Y/N)," you told him. "Kakyoin and I got into a little bit of trouble, and now our bodies are swapped." Luckily, Hierophant seemed to understand, and calmed down.
"Okay, now that we know the Stand situation," Kakyoin said, "let's go tell everyone else what happened." He started walking to the hotel, and you quickly followed.
"So," Jotaro leaned against the wall and crossed his arms, "my two best friends have been attacked by an enemy Stand while going to buy some things, and now they're trapped in each other's bodies."
"Sounds about right," you nodded.
"Yeah, that's what happened," Kakyoin replied.
Jotaro lowered his hat and sighed. "Good grief," he muttered. "This isn't going to end well."
"Anyway," Kakyoin said, "we should probably find this user as soon as possible. It won't be good if we're forever in each other's bodies."
"I wholeheartedly agree," Joseph answered, "but it's getting really late. How about we get a good night's sleep and wake up completely ready to take on the user?"
"No!" you both exclaimed at the same time.
"This feels weird! I don't wanna sleep in Kakyoin's body!" You squirmed just thinking about it. "No offense, Kakyoin."
"None taken, because I feel the exact same way," Kakyoin replied.
"Well, the rest of us are tired," Polnareff said, "so unless you plan on going out in the streets of Cairo alone, you better get some rest."
"Fine," both of you sighed. Before you headed off to your rooms, though, Kakyoin shared something with you.
"In case you didn't know, my most comfortable sleeping position is on my side, curled up. It would probably be the most comfortable to sleep in that position."
You told Kakyoin your usual sleeping position, too, then both of you headed off to your hotel rooms.
"Oh, and one more thing."
You turned your head. "Yeah?"
"I have PJs if you want to use those."
You thought about it for a little bit, then said, "You sure trust me a lot if you'd let me undress in your body. Unless it's not about trust..." you wiggled your eyebrows.
Well, now you knew what you looked like when you blushed. "Um, uh, no, that's not what I meant, at all, I promise," Kakyoin stuttered. "I mean, my school uniform isn't the comfiest thing to sleep in, so, heh, y'know, PJs are, are much comfier. It really is about trust, honest!"
"I know what you meant," you laughed as you went down to pat his head. Er, your head. This was so confusing. "And trust me, I'll change as quickly as possible."
Kakyoin sighed with relief. "Okay, I'll go get them from my room."
While you patiently waited for Kakyoin to come back, you started playing with his hair, pulling his long strand down, then letting go and watching it bounce back up again. It was actually pretty entertaining. At least, more entertaining than it should be.
"Okay, here's the PJs," Kakyoin tossed them up to you. "Good night, (Y/N)."
"Good night," you replied.
This time, you truly parted ways. When you got to your room, Iggy stood on all fours defensively.
"Don't worry, Iggy," you chuckled. "Kakyoin and I got into a fight with an enemy Stand, but I'm still (Y/N)."
Iggy laid back down, and yawned as he fell asleep. Quickly, you changed out of Kakyoin's uniform and slipped into his much comfier pajamas, and turned off the light, snuggling up next to Iggy. This would all be sorted out in the morning, you knew it. For now, you needed to rest. And rest you did.
“Joseph!”
You were always surprised on how fit Joseph was, especially with his old age, but this was beyond what you thought it would feel like. You expected at least a few creaky bones, but he was still in tip top shape, and you couldn’t help but flex his arms and feel his strength coursing through your veins.
“OH MY GO-“ your voice shouted, but cut off for some odd reason. You whipped your head around to see your body suddenly reanimated, spinning around in circles and darting its eyes all across the surface. “What happened? Why am I in (Y/N)’s body?”
“Mr. Joestar, please calm down!” you begged. “I don’t want people thinking I’m crazy!”
“Ah!” Joseph exclaimed. “You’re in my body, too? What’s going on?”
“Do you really think I have any more of a clue than you do?” you asked, still not used to his voice. “Look, I’m a high school girl in a grown man’s body! Do you think this is any easier for me?”
“We have to get back and tell the others about all of this!” Joseph said. “Come on, (Y/N), let’s go!”
As Joseph started running, you joined him, boosted by his incredible strength, and scooped him up along the way.
“Mr. Joestar,” Avdol said, “don’t you think a prank like this is a little too much for our current situation? And how did you get (Y/N) to agree to this?”
“Avdol, I am (Y/N),” you replied. “This isn’t a joke! I have Ace of Pentacles and everything!” You tried to summon her, but you were met with purple thorns. Uh oh. That could only mean that Joseph had Ace.
“This isn’t helping our argument,” Joseph muttered as he summoned Ace of Pentacles. “Look, we’re telling the truth, you have to believe us,” he pleaded.
“Favorite colors,” Jotaro said. “Go.”
“(Color),” you stated.
“Yellow,” Joseph answered.
“Favorite foods.”
“(Food).”
“Squid ink spaghetti.”
“My favorite food.”
You stayed silent, since you had no idea.
“Your mom’s cooking,” Joseph stated. “You used to be such a momma’s boy.”
“Yup, they’re in the wrong bodies,” Jotaro concluded. “There’s no way (Y/N) would have known that.”
“Finally!” you sighed. “I was beginning to worry you’d never believe us and we’d have to go find this guy on our own.”
“That would be pretty bad,” Kakyoin chuckled. “Neither of you have fighting Stands.”
“At least I have a fighting body,” Joseph beamed, putting his hands on his hips. “Well, I did.”
“That fighting body is mine now,” you smirked, flexing his muscles.
“Cut that out!” Joseph tried shoving you, but in your body, it did next to nothing. He tried harder. Still almost nothing. He pushed his back against you. He ran and jumped. He attacked you from above. Everything he tried was useless as you stood, as strong as a pillar, in the exact same place.
“You’re no fun,” he pouted. “You could at least act like I did something.”
You looked down at him, gave him a tiny push, and watched as he toppled over. “Nice acting, Mr. Joestar,” you chuckled.
“That hurt,” Joseph mumbled. “That hurt a lot.”
“What’s that?” You held up a hand to an ear. “I can’t hear you since you’re so much closer to the ground than I am.”
“I’ll pay you back when this is over, you know,” Joseph warned, “so I’d stop now if I were you.”
“Then why don’t you stop?” you asked him. “After all, you are me.”
“You know what I mean,” he grumbled.
“I know, I know,” you laughed. “I’ll stop.”
“Anyway, I’m getting a little tired,” Joseph yawned. “How about we hit the hay for tonight? We can go after this Stand user tomorrow when we’re refreshed.”
“Oh, you’re delusional if you think I’m spending a night in your body!” you exclaimed.
“And you’re delusional if you think I’m going after a Stand user in the middle of the night!” Joseph retorted. “No way, no how! An old man needs his sleep, you know.”
“But you’re not an old man right now, are you?” you countered. “You’re a high school girl. We stay up late. You should be raring to go, excited to explore the wonders of Egypt late at night.”
“If that were true,” Joseph said, “Then you should be exhausted and begging me to go to bed, yet here you are.”
“Good point,” you muttered. “Fine. We’ll go to bed.”
When you got to your room, Iggy was already asleep, so he couldn’t be bothered by your arrival. Thank goodness. He probably wouldn’t take too kindly to your new, hopefully temporary form. Unfortunately, you had to toss and turn so much that you ended up awakening him, anyway. And, of course, Iggy wouldn’t allow anyone but you to sleep in your bed.
“Iggy! It’s me!” you cried as you held the growling dog as far away from Joseph’s hair as possible. “It’s (Y/N)! Mr. Joestar and I got into some trouble with an enemy, and our bodies are swapped!” Iggy seemed to believe you, thankfully, and stopped attacking you.
A knock on the door made you jump, but you quickly asked, “Who is it?”
“It’s Joseph,” came your voice from the other side. “How do you sleep in this body? I can’t find a comfortable position.”
You sighed, realizing you were suffering the same problem. “I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours,” you answered, opening the door.
“I usually sleep with my arms and legs extended off the bed, face up,” Joseph answered.
“How do you sleep like that?” you asked.
“How do you not?”
“That’s fair.”
You told Joseph your preferred sleeping position, and then he left back to go to his room. Sinking down in your bed, you realized how comfortable it was to sleep belly down in this body. You yawned, and slowly drifted off to sleep. You would swap back to your body in the morning, and that’s all you needed to know to feel at peace.
“Polnareff!”
Having your hair in a tower felt really strange, considering you’ve never had it up like that before. It felt weirder than having all of the bulk from his muscles on your skin. Although, you were less worried about how you felt, and more worried about how Polnareff would feel. He’s the one you trusted the least in your body.
The sound of not so distant screams caught your attention, and you knew Polnareff was awake.
“This is bad, this is really bad!” he panicked. “I shouldn’t be in a girl’s body!”
Well, that was a relief. He didn’t seem to be immediately overjoyed. Maybe he would be trustworthy after all.
“Look, let’s just get back to the hotel,” you suggested, “and we can figure this out with the help of everyone else.”
“That sounds good,” Polnareff answered, still a little shaken. It wasn’t until you two had been walking for a while when you heard Polnareff giggle a little.
“You know, I was a bit freaked out at first, but feeling this light and delicate is a nice change.”
“I’m not light and delicate!” you shot back. “I’m just as strong as everyone else!”
“Relax, madame,” Polnareff held up his hands in defense. “All I’m saying is that you feel light and delicate. You’re far from that.”
“Thanks,” you answered. You could feel a light blush coming up to your cheeks. “That means you won’t be touchy-feely when you’re alone if we don’t get this sorted out by nightfall, right?”
“No promises,” Polnareff smirked.
“No, there has to be a promise,” you insisted. “I won’t let you get a moment alone if there’s no promise.”
“I’m kidding,” Polnareff laughed nervously. “I’ll keep my hands, er, your hands, away from your body.”
“Good,” you finished, making sure not to break your seriousness. “Thank you.”
After a few minutes of walking, Polnareff started to get a little jumpy. “Um, I don’t know if this is okay, but I really have to use the restroom. May I? I know it might not be comfortable with you, but I’m about to-“
“Just go,” you interrupted. “We all need to.”
“Thank you,” Polnareff sighed, and ran into the men’s restroom, quickly coming out and running to the woman’s.
“What do you mean there’s no urinals?! You pee SITTING DOWN?!”
You turned beet red as you heard your voice yell out, and covered your face in your hands. That was your voice, in your body, shouting those very words.
“I’m going to kill you,” you hissed when Polnareff left the restroom.
“You can’t kill me, you only have Ace of Pentacles,” Polnareff gloated. However, once he summoned Ace, he was taken aback. “Uh oh.”
“You’re lucky I don’t want to kill my body, or I’d have Silver Chariot slice you to bits right now,” you growled, summoning Polnareff’s Stand. “Girls pee sitting down. That’s why there’s no urinals. Don’t ever, EVER, say those words in that order again, especially to other women who don’t know the situation we’re in right now. Got it?” You had the tone of a mother who quietly scolded her child in public, the angry whisper when she can’t cause a scene.
“Yup, I got it,” Polnareff nodded quickly and quietly.
Once you got to the hotel, you and Polnareff explained, as best as you could, what happened to the two of you.
“So, you’re (Y/N), and you’re Polnareff?” Kakyoin pointed to the opposite bodies as he said your names, which were, at the time, the correct bodies. This was confusing. You both nodded, and Kakyoin sighed. “This is bound to make at least one of you mad.”
“Already happened,” Polnareff replied sheepishly.
“Anyway,” you interrupted, “we need to find the user, or else we’ll be stuck in these bodies forever.”
“Not tonight,” was Joseph’s answer. “We aren’t going tonight. I doubt he’ll get too far before the sun rises.”
“What?” you exclaimed. “No! I don’t trust Polnareff for a whole night!”
“Sleep in the same room I don’t care,” Joseph answered, “but I’m getting my rest, no matter what.”
“Look, I promise,” Polnareff told you. “I absolutely, positively promise nothing will happen to this body while I’m in it.”
“Doesn’t matter, you’re sleeping in my room tonight,” you replied. However, after some consideration, you remembered that Iggy was in your room, and that he loathed Polnareff more than anyone else. He would most likely rip all of your hair out before you could tell him that you were (Y/N). “Actually, your room. Your room tonight.”
“You’re sleeping on the floor, then, got it?” Polnareff asked. “My room, my rules.”
“It’s better than getting attacked by Iggy,” you sighed.
“You’re going to make a woman sleep on the floor?” Joseph asked. “What kind of man does that?”
“But I’m the woman now,” Polnareff countered. “Therefore, I get the bed.”
“Well, I’d rather wake up with back problems instead of going the rest of the day with back problems, so the bed’s all yours.”
“Huh,” Kakyoin said. “That was fast. I would at least expect (Y/N) to insist that Polnareff get her mattress from her room, since he’s in the body that Iggy hates the least.”
“That’s a good idea,” you complimented. “Polnareff, if you could be so kind and-“
“Already ahead of you,” he answered, leaving his room.
“I wonder how long it’ll take Iggy to realize that the person in your body is, in fact, not you,” Kakyoin chuckled.
“My bet is thirty seconds.”
“I’ll bet less than thirty.”
“Iggy! Iggy, stop! No!”
You heard a loud thud and barks from the tiny dog.
“Looks like I was right,” Kakyoin smirked.
“I’ll go calm Iggy down,” you laughed, and walked to your room. Hopefully Iggy connected the dots before you were attacked, as well. You entered the room, and he reared up and charged towards you.
“Iggy, wait!” you exclaimed, but it was too late. Iggy had pulled out a good amount of your hair, and you could smell an awful stench.
“Iggy,” you sighed, “it’s (Y/N). Polnareff and I swapped bodies.”
“I probably shouldn’t have called that dog a dumb mutt,” Polnareff muttered. “I think that’s what gave it away to him.”
“You think?” you groaned. “Come on, let’s get this mattress to your room.”
After some hard work (mostly put in by you), the mattress was successfully in Polnareff’s room, and you immediately curled up, and Polnareff landed face down on his bed. After a while, both of you were tossing and turning. Something about the way you two were sleeping did not settle well with the bodies you were in.
“Are you really going to sleep that way in that body?” Polnareff snorted. “(Y/N), that body is made to sleep face down. No other position is comfortable.”
“Maybe that’s why you can’t sleep in my body, either,” you suggested. “You’re sleeping in it wrong.”
“Perhaps that is what’s wrong,” Polnareff said to himself. He changed positions to how you were sleeping, and sighed happily. “My, my, this is so much more comfy!”
“Same here,” you replied. “Well, I’m going to go to sleep now. Goodnight, Polnareff.”
“Night.”
“Avdol!”
Woah. How many layers of clothing did this guy have? All of his coats and everything weighed you down much more than your clothing. However, all of that weight paid off for Avdol, because his arms were stronger than you could even imagine yours being.
“So, you’re awake, as well.”
You turned your head, and saw your body, fully reanimated. You concluded that the one speaking must have been Avdol.
“It seems that Stand has the ability to swap bodies,” he muttered, “and we happened to be the two he came into contact with.”
“Great,” you mumbled. “How do we reverse it?”
“Killing the user seems to be the only solution,” Avdol sighed. “Of course, he ran away as soon as his Stand landed an attack on us, so it’ll take a while for us to find him. But when we do, I’m prepared to use Magician’s Red, no matter what.” He summoned his Stand, but soon realized that it wasn’t who he thought it would be. Instead of summoning the fiery bird, he summoned Ace of Pentacles.
“Nice,” you said as you summoned Avdol’s former sidekick. “So I get to use him when the time comes.”
“I guess so,” Avdol chuckled. “Just remember, use those flames responsibly. We don’t want a bystander to get hurt.”
“I understand,” you nodded. “Plus, we should probably update the others on our situation before we go and fight this guy alone. For all we know, we could be swapped into a bystander’s body before we have the chance to fight him.”
“Good thinking,” Avdol replied. “Then it’s settled. We’ll go tell the others about this, first.”
When you got back to the hotel, Jotaro was already standing outside the doorway, leaning on the brick wall.
“There’s something different about you two,” he eyed you and Avdol suspiciously. “What did the enemy Stand do to you this time?”
“Swapped our bodies,” Avdol answered.
“So it was Avdol who answered me, then?” Jotaro asked. You both nodded.
“Ah, Avdol and (Y/N) are back,” Polnareff said as he emerged from the hotel’s entrance. “What supplies did you get?”
“Actually, we didn’t have time to get supplies,” you admitted. “We were attacked by an enemy.”
“Well, you got out fine,” Polnareff replied accusingly, “so why didn’t you get supplies after the attack?”
“Because we didn’t get out fine,” Avdol answered. “We’re in the wrong bodies.”
Polnareff playful grin suddenly vanished. “Oh,” he muttered.
“Anyway, we came here because it would be easier to take on this enemy with all five of us attacking,” you explained. “Where’s Mr. Joestar?”
“He already fell asleep,” Polnareff answered. “It is getting late, after all.”
“Then we’ll go without him.”
“No, that doesn’t seem like a good idea,” Avdol told you. “I mean, think about it. Leaving a member of our team alone while he’s out like a light? That could easily put him in danger. Plus, it would be bad if we all felt tired while trying to fight against someone else. We should sleep.”
“Fine,” you groaned. “Let’s go to bed.”
When you got to your bedroom, Iggy didn’t do much but give you a slight head tilt.
“It’s me, Iggy,” you consoled the worried dog. “It’s (Y/N). Avdol and I got put in the wrong bodies from an enemy.”
Iggy laid back down, accepting the answer. As you brushed your teeth, you kept staring at the reflection that wasn’t yours. It was strange to be in another body. As you laid in your bed, you noticed how comfortable it was. Even in different sleeping positions, you felt like you could sleep for hours. Avdol’s body was a blessing right now, since you probably couldn’t have possibly fallen asleep in any other body from the gravity of this situation. However, right as you were about to be out for the night, you heard a knock on your door. “Who is it?”
“Avdol,” your voice said from the other side. “Pardon my interruption, but I could really use some sleep, and for that, I need your sleeping position.”
You opened the door, and looked down to meet eyes with Avdol. After you told him your usual sleeping position, he nodded, and went back to his hotel room. Now, you went back to your bed, and almost instantly fell asleep. Tomorrow, everything would be solved. Now, you needed to rest up for the day ahead.
Yo! Really love your works! Anyways, how would a Yandere Kars, Dio, Kira, and Diavolo be with a s/o that's friends with the good guys? (bonus if they too are yanderes)
Yandere! Kars, Dio, Kira, and Diavolo with an s/o that’s friends with the good guys ( A pinch of good side yandere, I kind of wanted to focus on the main villain but yandere characters are insinuated)
Also if anyone wants Diavolo just request away! I spent 4 hours on Dio, Kars, and Kira alone so I’m kind of wiped right now, I wasn’t expecting to write that much right away.
Yandere! Pt 1 Dio
He has had his eyes set on you even prior to turning himself vampiric. Every second before he turned he was inexplicably in your presence whenever you were with Jonathan. Merely listening onto your drivel with that so called mannerless man.
At any given opportunity he’d interrupt, and of course continually make Jonathan a fool of himself in front of his father. Occasionally that would leave you vulnerable with Jonathan having to attend to other duties due to his brutish incompetence. But perhaps you were a bit more on your toes than he realized, any hesitance you may have had around him the blond had picked up immediately.
He totally acts like this is normal during the period he was still human. He’ll even bring up nonchalant topics up with you. Beckoning you on for walks while just so happening to be in front of Mr. Joestar, his sharp use of his tongue is fairly convincing.
He kept track of every single interaction you had with Jonathan, whether it was running to him because of the blond himself. Or you sneaking onto the property to avoid his own gaze. Though he’d especially let you know he was privy to your attempts to avoid him. Just with a simple stare, or perhaps a passive aggressive remark over dinner.
When the point of his vampirism hits his personal obsession only worsens (especially if Jonathan starts showing particular signs of an unhealthy fixation) or any of his allies for that matter. He personally makes a visit to you when you have seemed to have purposely distanced yourself.
“Jonathan seems to be a little strange around you doesn’t he? What a frightening thought that acting against his own chivalrous intents with you-”
He pauses for a second gauging your expression, but a well worn smirk simply rises on his lips
“such a shame really when you always used to run to him...”
He’ll even rub in the fact anyone that works with Jonathan around you has met the same fate in their behavior.
Any sense of normalcy is quickly stolen from you and the blond will make sure it stays that way. Shall you run back to the men you tried to trust with your well-being? Though being honest he’ll find a way for you to fall in his clutches, especially manipulating the competition.
Yandere! Kars
As a pillarman who would normally look at a human with disdain, his fixation with your is increasingly dangerous. Especially if you happen to be working with Joseph, Lisa Lisa, and Caesar, (and if they are anywhere near fixated as he is with you, things are bound to be brutal). Your a goal for him just as the red stone of Aja is, no one or anything will stand in between him and you.
Considering you must be worth something if you managed to be seen in a positive light of a being who lusts to stand as a superior being.
Surely he toys with your well-being just to try and coax the others out, placing you into unfair situations. Such as being outnumbered by recently turned underlings. (More than anything the worst outcome would be you having the red stone, as Kars would snatch you up himself without letting you putting up even a minuscule bit of a fight)
Considerably he revels seeing you at your limits, cunningly mocking you with backhanded compliments. But in between there’s a sincere remark that sends utter chills down your spine. He’s very willing to get a stone mask on you and turn you at a moments notice. Not only to torture Joseph and the others with their obsessed actions in having to use hamon.
He’ll also hum over the fact how delicious you’d taste if he just happened to absorb you. Frightening your fragile soul to the core as he mockingly takes a finger of yours into the skin. Honestly he’d mostly disregard the others obsession in place of you. Though that isn’t to say he wouldn’t love to tear anyone to shreds who possibly thinks they could have you of all things.
Yandere! Pt 3 DIO
There’s massive tension when arriving in Cairo, Egypt. You can’t help but sense something is up with the guys, an overprotective streak. No it was something more, and you had to keep them at bay. Each of them were ruthless to anyone that dared to try to hurt you. Though their supposed protection could be absolutely suffocating. Then there was occasional issues...Kakyoin was normally snippy and pretty sharp with his insults but something was more intense and spiteful behind him insulting Polnareff.
Jotaro was silent but his presence was sharp and barely left you, how could you not notice a man practically staring holes into the back of your head. Most of all Polnareff couldn’t be more than a few meters away, he was practically a lap dog. Until one of the others intervened with a vengeance.
The trip had started completely normal for their personalities but now it was twisted into something that likely freaked you out. Even putting you on edge comparable enough to the undead fiend hiding in Egypt. That was the least of your issues however when you did arrive in the fated city of Cairo. Dio himself waited with a suave calmness of anticipation of the people who wanted to kill him. Hidden within the confines of a building well tucked away, he desired to destroy the burden that was he Joestars but also something else.
There was you. So he bides his time carefully while his servants attempt to take the group out before they could bother approaching him. Of course he’s not surprised in the slightest when they make it right on his doorstep.
You all happen to split off at an oh so convenient time. Anyone you happen to run into whether it be Terrence d’arby or even Vanilla Ice *Varying on who you split off with). Give you looks of intrigue but explain nothing of their vague interests.
Perhaps you inexplicably end up on your own by some miracle, even if it wasn’t a particularly good idea. Dio absolutely delights himself in tracking you down in the night under the stars of Cairo. He doesn’t even make haste in taking care of anyone chasing him. The vitriol he’s met with even stronger than usual hatred for his existence tips him off to the groups feelings for you. The blond vampire certainly couldn’t have that type of fixation possibly eyeing you, aside from himself that is.
Dio will eventually find you, and certainly corner you in one shape or another. If he happens to need to use The World to achieve this if you’re not too far away than so be it. He towers over you with a wave of charisma and confidence, a smirk placating his desires placated right in front of him.
“Astounding you came this far with the Joestars, I’ve never seen such determination to cross the world with a bunch of fixated fools...” he’ll muse nonchalantly. But there’s something wrong you can just feel it, his eyes are no different. His interest in you is frightening for some reason. He plays along with the mix of fury and fear in your eyes, the swings of your stand that he easily dismisses with a few strong swipes of his stand. Then he’ll comment of your distress, reminding him of countless others who came near him. Time proceeds to stop and he comes up on the other side of you.
He enjoys the feel of your neck beneath his fingers before firmly letting his nails dig into the surface.
Time resumes, his digits already digging into your arteries with little effort. An air of superiority fills the air, he’ll inform you this is where the fight ends. Unfortunately it’s not the way you wanted it to in the slightest, no he never intended to give you that choice in the first place.
He doesn’t hesitate to tease you, his breath just centimeters from your face as he bends down. telling you not to bother with trivial resistance, his lovely little pet.
Yandere! Yoshikage Kira Kira is particularly interesting with his yandere tendencies, it’s bad enough he has to hide a deadly hand fetish let alone an obsession for a whole person. He’s rather concerned immediately as this obsession isn’t typical of his usual murderous intents. What makes it worse most likely, is he probably has the awareness you might be part of the group that’s attempting to pursue him.
Even when he assumes the identity of Kosaku Kawajiri, he’s not only on edge of being discovered but you are also an issue. He should want to eliminate you just like the rest who are trying to find him. But he can’t seem to convince himself of such of endeavor, even with the potential of just having your hands
When it comes down to it however, he’s on edge enough to strategize around you somehow. Especially with Hayato and Shinobu being involved with his assumed identity’s life.
His heart impulsively races if he stumbles near by you, an attempt to rationalize his feelings after acting on his simple desires for so long.
Though there’s likely a way to track your habits after he gets rid of the others, and any feasible evidence incriminating him towards these newly missing pupil. Surely he can track your family’s schedule, perhaps even your own to an extent.
There’s much he has to work around, but he’ll somehow make something work even if Kira has to erase every single little thing to get to you.
The sun was pounding down mercilessly, and Kakyoin watched tensely from the backseat of the car as Joseph and Polnareff tried to fix the decrepit engine which had given out on them about half an hour earlier. From the sound of it, Kakyoin didn't really think that they would be going anywhere else in this car.
What was more worrying, however, was his companion sitting in the seat next to him. Jotaro slumped against the door, head tilted toward his chest, hat pulled down low. His shallow breathing hitched every time he shifted, telling just how much pain he was in. Jotaro may have won the fight against Wheel of Fortune but he'd taken twice the amount of hits as the rest of them, and had suffered burns on top of that.
Kakyoin's attention was returned to Joseph as the older man sighed and reluctantly lowered the hood. "It's no use. There's only so much tinkering I can do. This car is shot."
"So we're stranded out here?" Anne screeched.
"Of course not!" Joseph grinned at her. "You have legs, don't you?"
Kakyoin pressed his lips together, glancing toward Jotaro again, who didn't even seem to register what was happening. Normally this would only be an annoying set-back, but he wasn't sure Jotaro could even walk to the nearest civilization.
"Come on, boys!" Joseph called.
Jotaro startled and blinked, looking confused for a second before he clumsily reached for the door handle and opened it.
Kakyoin was already out of the car by the time his friend stumbled to his feet.
"Jotaro, are you okay?" Joseph asked him.
"Yeah," came the terse reply.
"Let's go then."
Joseph took the lead and Jotaro followed, but only managed a few steps before he swayed. Kakyoin hurriedly ducked in and grabbed his elbow, accidently gripping a burned patch of skin. Jotaro grunted, face paling slightly.
"Mr. Joestar!" Kakyoin called. "I don't think Jotaro's going to make it walking that far right now."
Jotaro grunted and tried to pull away from him. "I said I'm fine."
But another swaying step, proved differently and this time it was Joseph who caught and steadied him.
"No, I think Kakyoin is right," the older man said worriedly. "You got hit harder than I thought."
Jotaro was breathing heavily as he still attempted to push himself upright. "We don't…have time for this!" he panted.
Kakyoin felt his chest tighten as he saw something akin to panic in Jotaro's eyes. Not for his own sake, but for fear of his mother's condition.
"Well, what do we do then? We still need a car," Polnareff said.
"Not to mention some better medical supplies," Kakyoin stated blandly. They hadn't even had burn cream. He stepped forward. "I'll stay here with Jotaro. The rest of you go to the nearest town and see if you can find a car."
Jotaro shot him a look before turning back to his grandfather. "Jiji, come on…I'm—"
"No, Jotaro," Kakyoin cut in firmly. "They'll be quicker walking alone. We'd have to slow down for you anyway. It will probably be about the same length of time for them to get there and drive back. You know you're not going to get far in that condition."
Jotaro glowered at him for a long moment, but Kakyoin stood his ground firmly, lifting his chin, and finally Jotaro glanced away, pulling his hat down as his body shook from the obvious strain he was feeling just keeping himself upright.
"I do agree that it will be better this way, but are you sure you'll be okay here alone?" Joseph asked worriedly.
Kakyoin didn't like the idea of splitting up either, but considering they had just defeated a Stand user they might get at least a little reprieve. "Hierophant will be able to tell if someone is coming."
Joseph nodded, if not a little reluctantly. "Okay. Stay off the road, and keep safe."
Kakyoin nodded and took a firmer hold on Jotaro, leading him back to the car, propping him against the side as Joseph, Polnareff and Anne started off down the road. Jotaro grunted, raising a shaky hand to pull his hat down further over his eyes. Kakyoin squinted in the sun, feeling it beating down on him and knowing that it had to be even worse for Jotaro who had lost his coat—and with the burns…
Kakyoin looked around, but there was no shade anywhere nearby this time of day. The rocky cliff face to their right wouldn't offer a shadow until hours later. He was going to have to do something though, because Jotaro had lost a lot of blood, some of it still seeping from the bad patch job they'd done with little more than band-aids Polnareff had had in his bag, and he was looking worse and worse by the second, face pale, sweat dripping off his skin.
Then he swayed, knees shaking and Kakyoin caught him quickly around the waist, trying to steady the taller boy. Jotaro let out a sharp gasp, stiffening.
"Sorry," Kakyoin said, wincing as he realized he must have grabbed one of the burns. "Come on, you should sit down."
Jotaro grunted, but didn't protest when Kakyoin dragged him around the car and settled him down. This was the only place that there was any sort of shade, just a couple feet of it, but it was better than nothing.
There really was something deadly about the desert sun though. It wasn't like the muggy heat of summers back in Japan; it was merciless, pounding into your head.
Jotaro landed heavily, legs sprawled out in front of him, still bared to the sun. Kakyoin winced as he saw a patch above Jotaro's knee where his trousers had been burned through, revealing a pink patch of skin. There were more on his arms and neck, and a couple that had gone through his shirt. Jotaro leaned his head back against the side of the car, eyes closed.
"Hey," Kakyoin said suddenly, really starting to get worried by Jotaro's unresponsiveness. "How about some water?"
Jotaro grunted, giving a small nod. Kakyoin hurriedly rummaged through their supplies and found a couple canteens. He took one and handed it to Jotaro but the other teen's hands were shaking too much to open the cap. Kakyoin swiftly retrieved it and untwisted the cap, then held it for Jotaro to drink from.
"M'fine," Jotaro muttered, reaching up to grab the bottle, only to spill it down his chin.
Kakyoin sighed and took it back, helping Jotaro drink. He took several large gulps before he settled back, closing his eyes, shifting uncomfortably on the rocky ground. His skin was starting to tint red and not just from the injuries and the burns.
Kakyoin worried at his lip, he really needed to get Jotaro out of the sun before he burned up.
Suddenly, he had an idea. He took his uniform coat off and tucked the tail into the car's door before stretching it across Jotaro and anchoring it to a large rock that sat a couple feet away, making a sort of tiny sunshade. Jotaro glanced up at it briefly, and seemed to relax a little now that the sun wasn't beating onto him directly.
"Thanks," he murmured. "But you…"
"I'm fine," Kakyoin assured him. He still had his long-sleeved shirt to protect him, and there was enough shade to cover him a little bit at least. "I only have a couple shallow injuries. Two of those gasoline bullets went right through you, and I know the burns must be bad, especially in this heat."
Jotaro grunted non-committedly, slumping further against the car, tucking his long legs up fully into the shade, bracing his feet against the rock.
Kakyoin sat in silence for a couple more minutes, noticing Jotaro's clenching fists, before he said. "They'll be quick. You know we all have the same goals, Jotaro."
Jotaro refused to look at him, but his hands seemed to loosen just slightly. Kakyoin set his jaw, knowing how he would feel if it was his mother in danger. That was part of the reason why he came along to begin with.
Jotaro shifted as if seeking a more comfortable position and his back slid against the side of the car, causing him to hiss in pain. Kakyoin glanced over and saw a smear of blood, more drops falling into the sand before.
"Jotaro, you're still bleeding!"
Jotaro glanced down, blinking at the drops of blood. "Said I'm fine."
"Not if we don't stop that bleeding," Kakyoin put his foot down in exasperation and reached into the car again, pulling out a scrap that had been left over from earlier bandaging. He pushed Jotaro forward and pressed hard against the still-bleeding hole through Jotaro's shoulder.
"Dammit, Kakyoin," he growled, the first real reaction Kakyoin had gotten out of him.
"Sorry, but I have to put pressure on this. I'm not going to let you bleed out."
Jotaro gritted his teeth, and Kakyoin caught a flash of something in his eyes before he looked away. Was it…fear? Kakyoin wasn't entirely sure what he'd seen, but it was definitely not something he would expect from Jotaro Kujo.
Jotaro shifted again and Kakyoin checked the wound before pressing harder. Jotaro bowed slightly, another choked off sound escaping his throat. Kakyoin felt him trembling too, more sweat beading on his skin, dripping down to join the drops of blood.
The amount of blood that had soaked into the back of Jotaro's undershirt was not something that gave Kakyoin a good feeling. The other boy really needed stitches for these wounds.
He was able to get the bleeding down to a trickle again, and grabbed more of the scraps and the last of the gauze.
"I'm going to try to plug this," he said. "It will hurt, but it will stop the bleeding."
Jotaro grunted non-committedly and Kakyoin removed the wad of bloody cloth, pulled Jotaro's shirt away from his shoulder and shoved the gauze into the wound.
Jotaro stiffened, a sharp gasp escaping him as his hands clenched in his lap. Kakyoin hurriedly pressed the cloth back over the wound and began tying it off tight against Jotaro's shoulder, hoping that would keep him from bleeding too much more.
He was just finishing up when Jotaro started to sag, and then slumped completely to the side.
Kakyoin's eyes widened and he reached out and grabbed him, hurriedly propping him back up. "Jotaro! Hey!" he shook him. "Hey, this is no time to fall asleep! You hear me? You need to stay awake!"
Jotaro's eyes slit open with a moan, blinking. "Too loud," he grunted.
"Sorry, but you need to stay awake. You're going into shock from blood loss and that's not a good thing," Kakyoin said, trying to keep from panicking. "Just don't pass out on me!"
Jotaro let out a long breath and slumped back against the car, looking like he was fighting to keep his head up, squinting. "'S really hot," he murmured, more sweat dripping down his face as his body shook.
Kakyoin pressed his lips together and reached for the canteen again, offering it to Jotaro to take a few more swallows before he pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket and wet it. He reached out to press it against Jotaro's face.
Jotaro jerked back. "What're ya' doin'?" he slurred.
"Keeping you cool," Kakyoin said firmly. "You might want to take off your hat."
Jotaro ducked away again, turning his head away. "No way."
Kakyoin sighed, but worked around it, dabbing the sweat and blood from Jotaro's face and neck before refreshing the cloth again, settling it against the back of his neck.
Jotaro sighed and started to slump again. Kakyoin nudged him. "Come on, don't sleep."
"Trying," Jotaro murmured and he sounded so tired and worn down that Kakyoin felt something twist in his stomach. He hadn't once seen Jotaro lose his cool though he knew that he had nightmares and would bury his head under the pillows at night, sometimes shaking with pent-up emotion. The fact he was slipping now when he knew someone was watching told Kakyoin just how badly he was hurt.
"Talk to me," Jotaro suddenly said, startling Kakyoin.
The red-head resumed his ministrations, feeling suddenly at a loss for words. "About what?"
"Anything," Jotaro said. "Just…keep me awake. You've always got a lot to talk about."
"Well, okay," Kakyoin said and thought about it, looking around for inspiration. "You know, I read this really interesting article once about the desert ecosystem…"
Enough time passed to give them more shade, and though Kakyoin could tell that Jotaro was still only barely hanging on, he was hanging on and that's what mattered. He talked about whatever came into his head and Jotaro listened, nodding or sometimes giving a small sound of acknowledgement. Sometimes even a mumbled question or comment. It was kind of nice actually. Kakyoin had never had anyone to talk to like this besides his parents and though they were always patient and showed interest in what he was interested in, there was something different about talking to a friend who genuinely seemed to enjoy listening to what he had to say. He would never have suspected that Jotaro was so interested in nature and biology and such, but he didn't think that his friend's attention was faked either. It wasn't like he really had the capacity at the moment.
Still, Jotaro was hurting, sure enough, and Kakyoin felt a huge relief when he heard the sound of an engine and saw a jeep pull up next to their car.
He stood up from under their tiny lean-to as Joseph and Polnareff jumped out of the car.
"Kakyoin!" Joseph called, hurrying over.
"Mr. Joestar," Kakyoin sighed in relief.
"How is he?" the old man asked.
"I was able to keep him conscious, but I had to stop the bleeding in his shoulder again. He really needs more attention," Kakyoin said worriedly.
Joseph nodded and knelt to see to his grandson as Kakyoin pulled his coat down, folding it over his arm.
"Jiji," Jotaro murmured as Joseph put a kindly palm to his cheek. The fact Jotaro didn't even pull away was telling.
"We're back, Jojo. Kakyoin, help me get him to the car. It's only a half-hour's drive back to the town."
Kakyoin and Joseph pulled Jotaro to his feet and mostly carried him to the car. They got him into the back and Kakyoin folded his coat around Jotaro's shoulders. It was small but would do a little bit of good at least.
Polnareff and Joseph grabbed the rest of their stuff from the other car and then they were on their way.
Kakyoin glanced over at Jotaro who was slumped against the door, but his eyes were open, meeting the other boy's gaze.
"Thanks," he said quietly.
Kakyoin nodded, a small smile on his lips. "No problem." He paused then said. "But you still can't sleep until we get you proper medical attention."
Jotaro huffed something like a frustrated laugh.
"I know what will keep you up!" Polnareff announced. "Singing!" And he launched into some raucous French song.
"Good grief," Jotaro groaned, ducking down as Kakyoin stuck his fingers in his ears. "You should have left me to bleed out."
They all laughed as Polnareff got offended but they were safe for now, and that was all that mattered.
hello I just found you and I love your work xD how do these ask things go I'm fairly new to this... Can I request from Polnareff? Up to you what happens with it, just some fun with him xD
perfect. I’ve had a Polnareff WIP from a series i wanted to start. It was basically reader has a stand that can control other users if they do sexual things together. so, without ado! here it be.
Stand Name: Electra Heart (if you kno u kno)
rated nsfw/18+
Stepping into the grungy bar, you sighed to yourself. DIO had told you that the crusaders were headed to Luxor, and you were meant to defeat them. Anything for cash, right?
You walked over to the bartender, sitting right in front of him. He smiled at you, and asked what you’d like to drink. “A dirty shirley, please. Extra cherries.” He nodded to you, and went to make the drink.
Any moment, the crusaders were meant to get here. This exact bar. At least, that’s what DIO had told you when you called him less than 20 minutes ago. You looked down at yourself, tanned skin, jean shorts and a simple tank top. Hopefully this would work.
Your stand, Electra Heart, was a very simple stand. It didn’t have much for hand on hand combat, but more of a nuisance. Any other stand user who deemed you worthy of having in their bed, were then placed under your control.
It was simple, your job was to get at least 2 or more of the men under your control, and have them destroy the others, and then themselves. Easy. Nothing you haven’t pulled off before.
But yet, you were nervous. You knew how powerful the men’s stands were, but if you didn’t reveal your stand, then they would be none the wiser. Just have to look cute and be flirty, nothing you couldn’t do.
The bartender handed your drink back, and you gave him a smile. You took quick sips of the beverage, popping a few of the cherries into your mouth. Now, it’s time to wait.
As soon as you thought that, the door to the bar was slammed open. You jumped slightly, before looking at who decided to enter an establishment that way.
The Stardust Crusaders. And first to walk in was none other than the Frenchman, Jean-Pierre Polnareff. The others followed behind him, tall and powerful. You quickly went back to your drink, not wanting to bring any attention to yourself. Well, not yet, anyways.
The men sat at a table near the bar, and one of them waved the bartender over. You watched them order their drinks, before striking up a conversation. You tried to listen in on it.
“So where are we again? And how close are we to Cairo?” Polnareff asked, looking over to Joseph Joestar. “We’re in Luxor. We’re going to stay here overnight and then head to Cairo. We should be there tomorrow.” Mr. Joestar responded, nodding slightly.
Jotaro looked up from under his hat. “Who do you think will be the next Stand user?”
Avdol replied after a sigh. “I am unsure, but I do know that as we get closer to DIO, the stronger the Stands are.” Jotaro grunted in response.
“That means we have to be on the lookout as much as possible. The next stand user could possibly be in this bar, we don’t know.” Kakyoin said, glancing around the establishment.
You felt your nerves spike at that. If they found out that you were here with them, you would be a goner. Electra Heart was nothing compared to the fighting power of any of their Stands.
You kept your calm, sipping your drink again. Glancing over at the table of men, you popped another cherry in your mouth. That’s when Jean met eyes with you.
At first, he squinted, looking you over as if you could be their next enemy. You smirked at him, leaning forward and sucking on the cherry in your mouth. You then arched your back, making your ass pop out slightly. You threw him a wink.
That’s when you saw his eyes go directly to your butt. His cheeks flushed slightly, and you knew his suspicion was gone. The bartender walked back up to the table, and gave the group of men their drinks. You kept your eyes on the French man.
Looks like he’ll be the first.
You had finished your drink, and asked for one more. You were planning on staying until the crusaders had left, so you might as well have fun doing it.
You quickly received your drink, extra cherries and everything. It was nice, giving you a good buzz and warming your stomach. You glanced back over at the table of men, popping another cherry in your mouth. You noticed Polnareff’s eyes were trained on your chest now.
Cute.
He was interested, to say the least. The next thing was figuring out how to get him away from the other crusaders. Waiting until they headed back to their hotel would take up too much time, you needed at least 3 of them to be at your bidding.
Suddenly, the said man stood up and excused himself to the bathroom. You watched him head to the hallway that led to the restrooms. Now was your chance.
You waited a few seconds, until he completely disappeared down the hallway. Getting off the bar stool, you followed him.
There were two individual bathrooms, one was in use. You knocked gently against the door, hearing a grunt. “It’s taken!” Jean said back to you, and you smirked.
“Honey, I know. That’s why I came.” Your voice dripped with sweetness, hoping to coax him into letting you in. You heard the shuffling of feet, and then the door opening. The man stared down at you, smirking slightly.
“Ah, I see mon poussin. What can I help you with?” Polnareff said, and you felt him eye you up again. “More like what can I help you with.” You said, walking into the small room. “I saw your eyes on me, and I’d say that I wouldn’t mind hearing what you were thinking about.” You slowly pushed him up against the wall, after closing and locking the door behind you.
“Oh, well- Um!” You shut him up with a fierce kiss. You moved your lips expertly, having done this exact situation before. He licked your bottom lip, asking permission to deepen the kiss. You allowed him, letting him search your mouth.
You hummed against him, pressing your chest against his. He pulled back, panting slightly. “Ma cherie, I haven’t even learned your name!” You smirked at him, leaning up and ghosting your lips against his ear. You moved down and pressed hot kisses to his neck, then collar bone, and nipping his shoulder.
“It doesn’t matter.” You shifted your weight, feeling something pressed against your belly. “Hm, what’s this?” You brought a hand to the tent in his pants. Feeling it up, running your fingers against it. “Ah!” Polnareff gasped, leaning into your touch.
This was it.
You dropped to your knees in front of him, making quick work of untying his pants and pulling them down slightly. His bulge was more prominent through his boxer briefs, and you mouthed at the tip. Jean let out a moan, one hand clutching the wall behind him, and the other getting lost in your hair.
Continuing to mouth along his erection, one hand came up to cup his balls. You knew what you were doing, and it was obvious from the sound that came out of his mouth. Jean’s fingers started to tug at your hair, and you knew he was growing impatient.
You leaned back and pulled his boxers down, releasing his cock from it’s confides. It was bigger than you thought, but nothing you couldn’t handle. Lidding your eyes, you looked back up at him, ghosting your lips along the tip.
Blush had spread across his cheeks at his ears, as well as down his neck and shoulders. It was a good look for him. Slowly, you let your tongue lull out, licking softly against the underside of his dick. Jean let out a strangled mewl, and you decided to take pity on him.
Using one hand, you groped his cock, pumping him quickly. He threw his head back against the door, his hips jutting forward slightly. You smiled to yourself, opening your mouth, and taking as much as him as you could.
It was hot, the feeling of him inside your mouth sent waves of pleasure to your core. You may be doing this for some 100+ year old vampire, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t have fun. Bobbing your head, you kept your eyes trained on his face.
Jean’s eyes were screwed shut, his hand clenching and unclenching in your hair. It looked like it wouldn’t last as long as you expected, he had probably stopped touching himself while on the journey. You sped up your movements, swirling your tongue around his cock, before sucking hard on the tip.
That did it for him, his hand bringing you as far down on his cock as possible, cumming down your throat. He was lucky you didn’t have a gag reflex. After he had ridden out his high, he pulled out of your mouth. Swallowing quickly, you looked up at him.
“Electra Heart.”
I Know you like Polnareff alot so I'll request one .. can I get a Polnareff oneshot where the reader is part of the crew and knows french so she flirts with Pol. And no one else has a clue what's going on?
I used google translate for the French so R.I.P. to the accuracy. I’ll put what I was trying to say in brackets, however, and if anyone who actually speaks French wants to correct me they are more than welcome. Also this uhh... this is one of the longest things I’ve written in a while. Did someone say comfort character?
As soon as the frenchman spotted you getting off the bus, he flashed you a wide smile. It’d been a while since he’d last seen you, but he’d recognize your features anywhere.
The other crusaders looked on, waiting to see who the special person Pol called in to help was. All he said was that you were an old friend.
Your boots moved against the concrete elegantly as you tucked a stray hair out of your face. The light blouse and sleek pants you wore complimented your figure nicely.
You waved, blowing Pol a kiss when you spotted him. “Bonjour,” you said, the French rolling off your tongue as though it was your first language.
Polnareff opened his arms for a hug but you just clicked your tongue. “Oh, no. I’m still mad at you, Jean. Now, why did you make me come all the way out here? Where even is here? What country is this?” you shook your head. “God, it’s been such a long trip.”
You noticed Pol’s companions and shook hands with each, introducing yourself as you did so.
“So, you’re the old friend Polnareff has been mentioning,” the man who introduced himself as Avdol prompted.
You nodded. “Something like that. But I still don’t know why I’m here.” Joseph piped up. “We’re trying to defeat an enemy that goes way back. Polnareff said you could assist us.”
You glared at the silver-haired man who was currently distracting himself with his nails. “Oh, he just assumed I would, huh?” you huffed. “Well, I’m already here so I might as well.”
That was the start of your inclusion as part of the crusaders. As time went on, you got to know the others more, befriending them as best as you could. You still gave Jean the cold shoulder, however. The others weren’t sure why, but Jean knew what he did wrong. That’s for damn sure.
The others found out, eventually, though; over a dinner, in fact.
You sat next to Avdol, chatting about nothing in particular. Pol directly across from you, simply pouting.
Joseph looked between the two of you. “So, uhh, what’s your past together, really? I know you said not to bring it up but if we’re to defeat Dio together we should get along. All of us. And that means fixing whatever shit Polnareff did to make you mad at him.”
“Moi? Why do you assume it was ME that did something?” Polnareff spoke up, crossing his arms.
“Because it was you,” was your reply as you took a sip of your beverage.
His face flushed. “That was a long time ago.”
You glared at him. “But you never apologized.”
“Es-tu sérieux? Qu'ai-je fait de mal? [Are you serious? What did I do wrong?]”
“Tu veux vraiment y aller? Tu n'as même jamais dit au revoir! J'avais dix-huit ans à l'époque! Vous êtes parti sans un mot et je ne savais pas où vous étiez et vous m'appelez soudainement de nulle part et vous attendez à ce que je voyage des centaines de kilomètres pour vous aider? [Do you really wanna go there? You never even said goodbye! I was eighteen at the time! You left without a word and I didn't know where you were and then you suddenly call me up out of nowhere and expect me to travel hundreds of kilometers to help you?]”
“J'avais dix-huit ans aussi, au cas où tu aurais oublié! J'étais un enfant stupide! Tu étais mon ... tu sais ce que tu étais pour moi! Je ne voulais pas tout gâcher! [I was eighteen too, in case you forgot! I was a stupid kid! You were my... you know what you were to me! I didn't want to mess it up!]”
You scoffed. “Gâcher? Et vous pensiez que me quitter après que nous ayons dormi ensemble pour la première fois n'était PAS une erreur? [Mess it up? And you thought leaving me after we slept together for the first time was NOT messing it up?]”
The others were simply looking back and forth in confusion. Obviously, you two had a rough past. Joseph cleared his throat awkwardly. Maybe he shouldn’t have brought it up…
Pol glanced down at his plate. “Je ... je suppose que c'était mal de moi. Je suis désolé. Je ... t'aime toujours, tu sais? Je n'ai jamais arrêté. [I ... I guess it was wrong of me. I am sorry. I... still love you, you know? I never stopped.]”
You began to cry.
Avdol put a comforting hand on your shoulder, though he didn’t know what to say.
“God damnit,” you muttered. “I still love you too, moron.”
There was silence. Though they understood only that, the other crusaders knew what went down between the two of you.
After that, everyone went to their rooms. Nothing else was spoken other than unmeaningful ‘good night’s and ‘see you tomorrow’s.
In the morning, you woke up with a newfound purpose in life. You knew how he felt, and he knew how you felt, but you were determined to grind his gears in revenge, anyway. He broke your heart so he deserved it. How to do it, however? You had a plan.
“Good morning, everyone,” you said as you walked into the breakfast area, your black silk robe still tied neatly against you. “I hope you all slept well. I have a feeling today is going to be a great day!”
“Uhh, yeah,” Kakyoin muttered, raising a brow. “You okay? You were… crying last night.”
You ruffled his hair. “Oh, don’t even worry about it, I’m great! More than great, actually.”
With that, you mozied off to grab a plate and start piling on breakfast items to eat. Luckily, the man you were looking for was right in front of you.
“Bonjour,” you said, tone light.
Pol shot you a look, but didn’t question your cheery attitude. “Salut.”
“Tu as l'air différent ce matin. Plus beau. Avez-vous fait quelque chose avec vos cheveux? Ou changer de tenue? [You look different this morning. More handsome. Did you do something with your hair? Or change your outfit?]”
“Non? Qu'est-ce que tu fais? [No? What are you up to?]”
You shrugged. “Je te donne juste un compliment. [Just giving you a compliment.]”
He finished stacking up his food and started to head back to the table, you following behind him.
As soon as you sat down, you began conversing once more. Running a hand lightly through his styled hair, you asked, “Êtes-vous sûr de n'avoir rien changé? [Are you sure you didn't change anything?]”
Jotaro let out a sigh, tilting his hat down. “Good grief. Here we go again.”
Pol shooed your hand away. “Oui. Maintenant mange. [Yes. Now eat.]”
This was the regular all day. Any chance you got, you’d pay him a compliment in French. The poor frenchman didn’t know what you were up to, but he wasn’t sure he wanted to find out.
After dinner, when the ones who were old enough to drink went down to the bar, was when things really started heating up.
Avdol and Joseph sat beside you as you sat beside Pol. They were busy chatting when they noticed you start a conversation. Despite not understanding, they decided to listen in.
“Belle nuit, non? [Beautiful night, no?]” you said, leaning your head against his shoulder as you stirred your glass.
You were right. It was beautiful.
“Oui [yes],” he agreed.
“Pas aussi beau que toi [not as beautiful as you],” you quipped, nudging him with your elbow.
He let out a sigh. He would love nothing more than to take the compliment as it was, but he knew not to. He felt stupid not knowing what you were up to, but he had a feeling it had to do with him falling for your scheme of compliments. His expression remained neutral, though you spotted color appearing on his cheeks. You smirked.
“Cette nuit n'était pas si mauvaise, non? C'est pour ça que tu es parti? Parce que je n'étais pas assez bon? Parce que je serais prêt à réessayer. Donnez-moi une autre chance et je jure que vous ne voudrez plus jamais quitter le lit. [That night wasn't so bad, was it? Is that why you left? Because I wasn't good enough? Because I'd be willing to try again. Give me another chance and I swear you'll never want to leave the bed.]” Your feet nudged his legs as you spoke.
You felt his shoulder tense underneath you.
“Ce n'est pas ça et tu le sais. [That's not it and you know it.]”
You began to trace the top of his hand with your nails, drawing little shapes. You noticed the hair on his arms stand up.
“Je ne te crois pas~~~~ [I don't believe you~~~~]”
Joseph leaned over to whisper to Avdol. “I think she might be flirting with ‘im.”
“Why would she do that if he broke her heart?”
Joseph shrugged. “I don’t know. I’ve never understood a woman’s true motives a day in my life, that’s why I was asking you what you think.”
“I’m a fortune teller, Mr, Joestar, not a mind-reader.”
Dismissing Avdol, Joseph tuned back into what was happening on the other side of him.
You now had one arm wrapped around his bicep, the other trailing a nail from his hand up to his shoulder and towards his neck.
“Rejoignez-moi dans ma chambre et convainquez-moi, n'est-ce pas? [Join me in my room and convince me there, won't you?]”
Polnareff gently grabbed your hand, stopping you from caressing his face. “Pourquoi fais-tu ça? Je sais que tu gardes toujours rancune. [Why are you doing this? I know you still hold a grudge.]”
You let out a weary sigh. “Oh chéri. S'il vous plaît. Arrêtons-nous avec les présentations et le bavardage. [Oh, love. Please. Let's just stop with the introductions and chit-chat.]”
With that, you stood up, moving to grasp his wrists and lead him away from the bar.
Joseph turned to Avdol but the Egyptian shook his head. “We’re not following them. Well, I’m not. I’ll be in the room. You’re welcome to do whatever, Mr. Joestar, but I’ll have no part.”
Avdol got up, moving towards the stairs.
Joseph scoffed. “Well, fine.” He ran after Avdol. “Wait for me!”
You let out a sigh of relief. You brought Pol out into the empty patio, and there was no sign of the other two following you. You breathed out, breath visible in the cool air.
“I think we’re alone now,” you said. “Finally.”
Polnareff turned to you, expression one that was commonly found on him present. Confusion. “What are you trying to accomplish? Just tell me.”
You said nothing, your hands tracing up both of his arms before resting against his cheeks. You used your thumb to caress his face. Fluttering your eyelashes, you gave him a look he recognized from way back in that hotel in France. You leaned up, getting on your tippy toes.
Despite the logical side of his brain telling him he shouldn’t, he slowly wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you in.
Your lips met, but before anything could happen, you pulled away suddenly. You were crying.
“I’m such an idiot,” you muttered. “Why did I think this was a good idea?” You backed away from his grasp. “I’m sorry.” Polnareff’s heart shattered. He hated seeing you in tears, especially since he didn’t know the reason. He assumed it was probably him. “What’s wrong?”
You bit your lip. “I was going to get revenge,” you said. “Do to you what you did to me. But I can’t. If… if I go up to your room and do what we did together when we were teens I could never convince myself to leave you. Because I’m still in love with you, and not just a little bit. A lot. So much that it hurts. And I don’t want you hurt, even though you hurt me. Because I’m stupid in love with you.”
For such a talkative man, he had nothing to say.
You two just stood in silence, cold air freezing your skin as you rubbed your arms. You let out a shaky sigh, eyes closing. You felt like an idiot. A love-sick idiot.
Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you against a broad chest that smelled of French alcohol and cigarette smoke. You took in a breath.
“I should be the one apologizing, ma chérie,” he said, voice cracking with emotion. “You deserve the world and if I could go back I never would have left you in that room. I just-- you had such big plans. You were an exchange student from America who was studying things I couldn’t even pronounce. I was some dumb nobody scrounging and wallowing about with no real purpose.”
“You’re an idiot,” you mumbled, arms moving to wrap around his neck as you glanced up at him. “You’re such an idiot, Jean Pierre.”
“I know,” he said, giving you a small smile. His cheeks were pink. “I really do know.”
“But I’d like you to be MY idiot from now on, if that’s okay with you.”
He gave a chaste kiss to your forehead. “If you’re willing to take me back, even in this hell of a situation we’re in right now, then I’d love nothing more, ma chérie.”
Your response was in the form of a kiss. But this time, it wasn’t a short one.
What finally pulled you two apart was a familiar gruff voice from a few stories above. “I knew it! I knew it!”
You both looked up, shooting glares at the elderly Joestar. He gave you a quick smile before popping his head back inside his window.
You let out a giggle, Polnareff chuckling along.
“Oh my,” you sighed. “What have I gotten myself into?”
He grinned. “I have no idea, myself, ma chérie. But we’ll have a bizarre adventure finding out!”
That night, you two shared a bed, snuggled up against each other. There was nothing more than scattered kisses shared, but it was a pleasant night, nonetheless.
When morning came, however, and you were met with strong arms embracing you from behind as a familiar snore sounded in your ear, you felt better than you had in years. More specifically, since that night in France.
Letting out a hum, you turned to kiss his forehead. “God, I love you, you big French idiot,” you mumbled. And you meant it.
Hope you enjoyed! <3
July Drabble Challenge Day 28: Depress
“Kakyoin.”
“Jotaro.” The two stared at each other for a moment before Jotaro spoke again. “How are you feeling?”
“Like I died and came back to life.” Kakyoin tried to say it in a joking manner, but the grief that washed over Jotaro’s features quickly made him speak again. “Sorry, I was trying to make a joke.”
“No, it’s not that. Grandpa tried the same thing because he thought he was funny.”
“Oh I see. How are the others?”
Jotaro sat in the chair next to Kakyoin’s hospital bed. “Recovering. Avdol is awake, adjusting to his new prosthetics and Polnareff won’t leave his side. The dog, I mean, Iggy, is still out, but the doctors think he’ll make a full recovery.”
“Good.” Kakyoin looked down at his hands. “Mr. Joestar told me that you hadn’t been sleeping well. How do you feel now?”
“Better now knowing that everyone is going to be okay.”
“You’re stronger than I could be. I don’t know how I’d feel knowing I had to wait around for news about those I cared for that were hurt.”
“I’m not strong. I felt depressed and angry, especially at myself, for not doing more.”
“Jotaro—”
“No, let me finish.” Jotaro got up to pace. “I know it’s not my fault, we all made our own choices. And I would have mourned the loss of our friends. But more than that, I would have had regrets for not telling you sooner.”
“Tell me what?”
“I—” Jotaro growled. “This shit isn’t easy to say.”
“What? You got feelings for me or something?” Kakyoin teased, hoping to lighten the mood, but was caught off guard when Jotaro turned towards him, face intense.
“Yes. And I don’t know how to express those feelings.”
Kakyoin’s breath caught, and he swallowed the lump of emotions that had formed in his throat. He’d had regrets too, in that moment when he thought he was going to die. How he hadn’t told Jotaro about his feelings, and how he’d never get the chance to then. Wanting to be brave, Kakyoin motioned Jotaro closer. When he was in range, Kakyoin cupped Jotaro’s face in his hands. “I’ve never expressed those kinds of feelings to another man either, but we can learn together?”
“Kakyoin.” Jotaro leaned in closer, then jerked back in surprise when the door swung open, and Joseph walked in.
“Kakyoin, I found some cherries for you.” Joseph looked between the two young men, Jotaro hiding his face with his hat, and Kakyoin scratching at a reddened cheek. “Is everything alright?”
“Yes, of course Mr. Joestar. We were just catching up. Cherries you say?”
“Yes.” Joseph set down the bowl of cherries before his phone rang. “Crap. I’ve been waiting on this call. Enjoy the cherries.” He waved as he headed back out. Kakyoin looked to Jotaro again.
“So, did you want to try again or did—” He was cut off by Jotaro’s lips pressing against his. Yeah, they’d figure everything out together.
Okay so this one got away from me but I wanted to wrap up the Jotakak storyline I had for this month (I say that, but I only wrote 3 drabbles for it, including this one lol. If you want to read the others, here’s Day 5, and Day 15). I asked @sterlynwrites for a ship (Forgetting day 5 had been for her anyway lol). So, this one got away from me and ended up being 500 words so 5 times my usual drabble. But I started writing it and didn’t stop until I was 300+ words in so here we are. You’re welcome lol. The word for this drabble is Depress (I used Depressed and even then, couldn’t make this sad lol) And yes, I know the show didn’t end happy for everyone (It’s JoJo, people die. Spoilers lol) and being the Queen of sap, I had to make it a happy ending. If you’re curious to see the prompt list for this month (Or want to join in), it’s over here! And if you want to read the drabbles @sterlynwrites (She wrote a sad one today about Jotaro and Kakyoin and my heart still hurts lol) and @caity-catt have done, check out their pages. Thanks!
Jotaro - Possessed
This is cross-posted from Wattpad and available on AO3. This was my first fanfiction, the writing has improved ever since.
Enjoy~
It was a normal day for Y/N and the crusaders. You were all aboard a boat for a day or two to join your destination.
You all decided to reunite at a certain hour to discuss your plan and what to do, but in the mean time, everyone was doing their own things.
Kakyoin and Jotaro were sunbathing in their uniforms, Polnareff was chasing some cute girls to pick up, Abdul and Joseph were getting some light drinks, and you, you were just strolling around the boat, having some time for yourself since it gets tiring being around men all the time.
You were walking along a hallway when you suddenly bumped into someone running around the corner, both of you falling on your backs.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry miss! Are you okay?" said the man while scrambling to get over you and check you out for injuries.
"Ugh... I-I'm fine.." you groaned as you opened your eyes, only to find the face of the man merely inches away from yours. You blushed a bit at the closeness "Um... " you muttered quietly at the man.
"You sure ?" He suddenly put his palm over your forehead, leaning a little bit more "Your face is red, aren't you a little bit sick?"
'Who is this guy??' you thought to yourself, confused at the behavior.
"No, no I'm fine, thank you, can you get off of me now please?" you said quickly, almost in a panic.
"Oh! Of course miss, my bad!" He finally got up and away from you very slowly, almost lingering. "Be careful little lady..."
You almost pushed him out of the way as you got up and hurried away from him, ignoring his last statement.
'Jeez, what is wrong with that guy? Some people are weird, man...' You thought to yourself a bit freaked out as you felt the guy's eyes still on you.
Later during the day, all the Crusaders got together in Abdul and Joseph's cabin to talk about future plans, where to go to next, new discoveries made by Hermit Purple and whatnot.
"So there might be one or more stand users in this very boat. Let's all keep our guards up." inquired Joseph to the group.
"Of course, let's search the ship in groups according to our stands abilities." added Kakyoin.
"I suggest Kakyoin and Polnareff since their stands could team up greatly with a good offense/defense ratio. Mr. Joestar and myself together as well." Abdul said.
"Good idea." said Kakyoin "So that means...." he trailed off, looking at you
"That means I'll team up with Jonathan!"
. . . Silence.
Everyone had a confused look on their faces while Joseph eyes widened like saucers.
You then realized what you said and got horrified.
"Wh- JOTARO! I meant Jotaro!!" You frantically said while putting a hand over your mouth.
No reaction from the men. You started to feel very flustered and added awkwardly.
"I-I don't know why I even said that haha.. I-I don't even know a Jonathan..."
The tension was horrible to bear. No one made a sound. That was weird. You weren't usually one to slip up like that.
"Hahaha... I must be tired haha.." you tried to laugh it off, to lighten the mood, but you could not ignore Joseph's hard stare on you.
As you couldn't take it anymore, so you got up from your seat on one of the beds and went on your way towards the door.
"Anyway, I'll go first, join me later Jojo.." and just like that you were gone.
The others tried to shake it off, like it was nothing, but Joseph was uneasy from the ordeal. He felt like something was wrong, and it wasn't just about getting the wrong name. Jotaro felt it too.
The whole day went like this, with everyone searching in vain, and with you slipping up every now and then, saying weird unusual things, and acting oblivious about it seconds later. That perked everyone up, but nobody knew what that was all about.
Until later, in the evening, everyone reunited again in the same cabin as before to report. Nobody could find anything suspicious on the boat. Not even Hierophant Green who scanned the entire ship.
Everyone was a little bit on edge to not find anything... It was too calm, too easy.
"I'm worried..." you started.
"We did everything we could... Or maybe there really is no one against us in here." said Kakyoin calmly.
"But then that would mean the stand user seen by Hermit Purple was not sent by Lord Dio..."
That was the kicker.
Everyone flinched and your eyes widened at your own choice of words. Something was terribly wrong with you today, and they had to figure it out.
In a matter of a second, before you could even react, Jotaro, who was sitting beside you, forcefully grabbed your wrists and pinned you to the bed, immobilizing you instantly.
"W-WAIT!!! THIS IS A MISUNDERSTANDING!!! I NEVER MET DIO IN MY ENTIRE LIFE YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME!!" You screamed, panicked, trying to sound as sincere as you could while struggling against his grasp.
Although It was true, with everything going against you and your weird behavior all day, you were hard to believe.
Kakyoin and Polnareff were speechless, Abdul was sweating while preparing to reluctantly summon Magician Red at any second if necessary. Joseph was glaring hard at you, not wanting to believe you could have been a traitor this whole time.
You were shaking like a leaf underneath Jotaro, who's expression was unreadable. You were panting heavily with anxiety. You tried to argue again.
"P-please!! It's true! I don't know what's happening today, I'm as confused as you are, but I swear on my own bloodline, I'm not a servant of Dio! I don't even know what he looks like I-" You cut yourself off.
At this point you could not prove your innocence, so in desperation you tried to look at the ones who were the most likely to believe you.
"Kakyoin... You believe me right..?" you called weakly, your voice cracking. He avoided your glance, not knowing what to think anymore. You turned your head to the left where Joseph was.
"Mr Joesta-" You were suddenly cut off by two strong hands cupping your face and making you look in front of you. It was Star Platinum holding you still.
"Wh-what are you d-"
"Don't move." Jotaro interrupted. He moved his hands so that he had both your wrists on one hand and brushed his other through your hairline only to find a fleshbud stuck in.
The other men were shocked at this discovery. So you were indeed under Dio's command... But how?
Confused and scared you wanted to ask what was going on. You eyed the others, asking silently for answers. You felt the pressure on your cheeks lessen and Jotaro replaced Star's hand with his own.
"Y/N, look at me." The dark haired male ordered.
"Jojo..." You were terrified, but trusted him with whatever he was thinking.
You tried to stay still while Star Platinum worked his surgery on you to remove the evil appendice. You couldn't help but but cringe a little and hold your hitching breath as you could feel everything.
It lasted seconds that felt like hours to you, Jotaro's beautiful ocean eyes conforted you through the operation. He was always so harsh, but his eyes held something precious and warm that eased you. Even the hand that held your face felt like a warm caress.
With a sharp burning pain, Star removed the parasyte while you let out a groan. When Star Platinum finally got rid of it you let out a breath of relief.
And just like that you blacked out.
Jotaro got up from his previous position while saying quietly "She went to sleep...". He was smart and perceptive, he figured you weren't always possessed. No, this was recent, and there is a stand user on board. He figured you must have met them and they were the cause of all of this.
"So what do we do now, we wait until she wakes up and explain?" asked Polnareff still very unsure of what's going on.
"Something doesn't add up. If she was sent by Dio, she would have attacked us straight up, or when we expect it the least. She had many occasions to do so. This is strange, I don't get it." added Kakyoin, trying to find a plausible explanation to all of this.
Joseph agreed "I don't believe she's a traitor either, but we'll have some questions to ask her when she wakes up anyway. I'll stay with her, you guys go do a last check up to see if anything unusual happens."
Everyone nodded and went again on another exploration. Now they know that if that stand user can put people into Dio's submission, they'll have to be extra careful and ready to meet not one, but many obstacles.
Long hours have passed when you woke up, only to find Joseph sitting at the edge of the bed where you passed out, but now covered with a blanket and some bandages around your head.
"Mr. Joestar..." you croaked out, a bit of sadness and guilt in your voice. He looked at you with genuine worry, glad that you woke up.
"Oh Y/N you're awake! How are you feeling? Nothing hurts?"
He was always so nice to you, to the boys and even to strangers. Joseph always felt like a caring father to you, which made you feel even more guilty. You shook your head in response.
"Mr. Joestar... Did I... Betray you..?" you couldn't look into his eyes as you said those last words. His expression turned serious and he gazed in front of him.
"No, you didn't. If anything, you're the victim here. Do you remember anything unusual that happened today?"
You couldn't think of anything for a moment until you remembered that weird encounter from that morning, when you bumped into that tacky man.
Your eyes widened in realization. You gasped and Joseph noticed that. As he was about to ask you what was wrong you sat up and exclaimed.
"That guy! It was him!! He's the one who infected me! That fucking bastard, he's so dead." You angrily threw the covers and got up, ready to find that guy and beat his ass.
Before you could storm out Joseph grabbed your arm, stopping you.
"Wait Y/N, explain, what's going on? What happened?"
And so you explained everything that happened that morning, with the guy bumping into you, acting like a creep. You told him how he got very close and touched your forehead too.
"I see..." Joseph pondered, "So that's when he put the fleshbud on you, you didn't feel anything because you were so distracted by his behavior...It's okay, let's calm down and get the others so we can chase him down. You remember his face, right?"
You nodded, now calmer than you were minutes before, thanks for Joseph and his reassuring demeanor. You two then went to get the others, only to find them grabbing a bunch of random people by the collar and beating the shit out of them, and Kakyoin trying to reason them in vain.
"What the hell is going on here?!" Yelled Joseph as he saw the chaos before him.
"We can't find the culprit so we're just punching everyone until one of them admits." Jotaro said like it was common sense, and Polnareff nodded like the supporting friend he was.
Joseph was so done with his grandson's bullshit, so you just got up to them saying that there was no need to, since you knew who was the guy.
Upon realizing that you were awake and safe, Jotaro just threw the guy he was holding over God knows where and just came to you with Kakyoin following.
"Y/N good to see you back! You scared us, you know?" Said the cherry-haired male with a soft smile. He then leaned in close and whispered.
"Jojo won't admit it, but he was worried sick, never saw him walk so fast to beat someone up." he added with a little snicker.
You blushed a bit at this. Really? Jotaro was worried about you? You tried to look at the male for confirmation, but he was looking the other way, efficiently hiding his face.
He just lead the way with his hands in his pockets, acting like he didn't care when he was secretly happy you were okay. It was kinda cute.
At one point, you were all strolling on of the hallways when you saw something that piqued your attention. A scene that felt like 'déjà vu'.
A few feet away from you, that same guy from before, bumped into a random woman, and was now leaning close to her to touch her forehead.
At this, you sprinted down the hall, taking out your stand to attack him.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER YOU PSYCHO!"
The guy tried to jump back to dodge your stand, but is was too late. You violently pinned him to the wall of the hallway. You glanced at the woman who already had a fleshbud on her forehead.
'Shit!'
The woman ran away, but Joseph and Polnareff were quick to react and ran after her.
"Leave it to us!" Yelled the french man, running off.
As you were distracted by the possessed woman, you didn't notice the guy getting away from your stand's grasp, and kicked you hard in the stomach, sending you stumbling backwards and falling into the solid chest of Jotaro who caught you.
You couldn't even say his name since your breath was cut by the impact. He just put his hands on your shoulders as you coughed while muttering a 'yare yare daze'.
The other crusaders joined your side to help you out, since they knew that even if you were strong, you really didn't like fighting or using violence.
"Huh? And who might you be? Ohh aren't you the cute little lady from this morning? Sad to see you didn't want to join us. Lord Dio treats us reeeaal nice~" the man sneered.
"I swear to fucking god-"
"How many people have you infected so far?" Kakyoin cut you off, scared that you might let yourself consumed by unnecessary anger.
"Oh? You don't wanna know how I do it? Don't worry about how many colleagues I have here, they're all probably with your two boy friends, having the time of their life."
"So how do you do it? I doubt it is just a stand. Did Dio lend you that ability so you can recruit new slaves in his stead?" said Abdul while scanning the guy, trying to find any flaws in his posture and manners, any potential weakness.
"Ooooh you got it first try! I like my men smart~" the guy said with a disgusting tone "I might just take you for Lord Dio."
And as he said that, he launched at Abdul and spread out tentacle-like vectors that the Egyptian recognized as the same ones Dio had when he met him.
"Abdul watch out!!" Kakyoin tried to warn him.
It happened so fast he didn't have time to summon Magician Red. You just tackled Abdul out of the way, while the guy fled the scene. Jotaro ran after him at lightspeed without even thinking twice.
"Jojo!!" you screamed as you wanted to go too, but Abdul held you there.
"Let me go Abdul! I can restrain that guy with my stand!"
"Don't act reckless Y/N, trust Jotaro on this, he can manage. You've already done enough for today."
"He's right Y/N, he'll be okay, let's go find Mr. Joestar and Polnareff they might need us more." Added Kakyoin, trying to reason you.
They were right, you thought. You wore a worried expression as Abdul helped you up.
After you reunited with Joseph and Polnareff, Kakyoin, Abdul and you managed to neutralize every enslaved passenger.
You were waiting for Jotaro to come back and remove all the fleshbuds, but the parasytes just dislocated themselves from their hosts and scrumbled away like insects.
The stand user could probably not control them anymore, which meant Jotaro succeeded.
Jojo finally came back while dragging Dio's underling like a potato sack, looking like a bloody pulp.
"Eeeewwww!! Disgusting! What did you do to his face, Jotaro?!" Joseph exclaimed while squirming. This was not a pretty sight, and the old man was squeamish.
"Jeez, you didn't go easy on him" said Kakyoin with a knowing look. "I wonder why..." he subtly glanced at you, then back at Jotaro, suggesting something.
Jotaro just clicked his tongue and blushed a faint color as he threw the guy over at the group.
"Just do whatever you want with him, I'm tired." he turned on his heels and started walking away while the others -more like Polnareff- were taking great pleasure in planning what they could do to him for revenge, as if being almost killed by Star Platinum's fists wasn't enough.
You just followed Jotaro while calling him.
"Jojo...!" He stopped and waited for you to catch up.
"Jojo... You... You knew that I wouldn't betray you? You actually trusted me?"
He didn't say anything, but his sea colored eyes answered for you. Your expression turned soft in gratefulness.
He believed in you, even when you were obviously acting like a traitor, he immediatly searched for Dio's appendice, knowing you would never betray him.. He trusted you. That thought alone filled your heart with love and appreciation.
"You saved me... Again. How can I thank you?" your soft voice and expression made him feel some kind of way. You were just too cute. He couldn't believe what he was about to say.
"Kiss me." He commanded, his voice and expression not faltering. You thought you heard wrong.
"... I didn't catch that, can you repeat?" You asked, genuinely unsure if you actually heard what you heard.
He suddenly approached you, the closer he got, the faster your heart was beating. His huge build towered over you.
"You heard me" he confirmed.
Your face and ears were burning, you couldn't believe this was happening. But this was your chance, he offered his consent, this was no time to ask questions, even if you had a thousand right now.
You shyly raised your arms to grab his collar, and looked around to make sure nobody was here to watch. God this was embarassing. You slowly pulled him down and got on your tiptoes, trying to reach for his perfect lips.
You succeeded as you gave him a tiny peck, short-lived, but full of love. You thought you could pass out from all the blood running to your face. But before you could let go of him, he wrapped his arms around your waist and captured your lips once again, in a longer, more desperate kiss.
You were loosing balance so your wrapped your arms around his neck, which deepened the kiss even more. It was bliss until you had to part for some well deserved oxygen.
"Jotaro..." You breathed in his neck "I didn't know..."
This small gesture made his heart skip a beat. He rarely ever felt so much love, and warmth, to which responded by squeezing you harder against him, like you were a soft pillow.
"I couldn't find the right time." He muttered quietly.
You both just stayed like this. Enjoying each other's warmth. It felt so right. Like two fitting puzzle pieces. You couldn't be more happy at the moment. Nothing could ruin it.
"Eeeewwww get a room you two!!"
... Except this.
You both separated, startled by an obnoxious voice coated with a French accent. You were even more embarassed at the fact that everyone witnessed this.You were hiding your face and Jotaro just glared daggers at Polnareff who was smirking.
"Finally, you got the balls to do it Jojo. Glad I didn't have to force it out of you." commented Kakyoin, his inner fanboy pleased.
The two other men just wore wholesome smiles on their faces. Glad to see something positive in this ordeal.
Jotaro just muttered his signature "Yare yare daze" as he grabbed your hand and got away from these nosy eyes.
I’m... I’m...
The Stand’s attack sent you flying back, and it wasn’t until you hit a pole that you stopped.
“Ugh...” you grunted. You looked up from the pole that you had hit, and saw your body on the ground, still unmoving. No. You didn’t just die, did you? You looked down at your hands. Nope. Still normal. But they looked familiar. Not yours, but familiar. You gasped, frantically checking the clothes, face, and top of the head of the body you were in. This wasn’t you. “I’m... I’m...” You clamped your mouth shut. That was the voice of...
***
“Jotaro!”
You couldn't help but notice how bulky it felt in Jotaro's body. In a good way, of course. His arms and legs were toned to perfection, and you could feel the squeeze of his abs on your stomach. Or rather, his stomach.
Your body, which you could only assume had Jotaro’s soul trapped inside it, started to gradually get up. You quickly ran towards him, and tried helping him up. Or, was it her?
“Thanks, but I can get up myself.” It was extremely disassociating hearing your voice when you weren’t speaking. It seemed like Jotaro noticed something off, too, as his eyes (your eyes?) widened and he looked up, way up, to lock eyes with you.
“You’re not dead,” you reassured him. “You’re in my body.”
“I’m in your what?” Jotaro was showing small signs of panic, something you’d never seen before, as he started turning round and round, slapping his hands on his cheeks, and grabbing his arms and legs. After a while, he looked back at you. “Good grief, (Y/N), it wouldn’t hurt for you to hit the gym every once in a while. Your limbs are like twigs.”
You could feel heat rising to your cheeks, but you didn’t know if it was from embarrassment or anger. You didn’t even know how to respond to that. “Shut up! My physique is fine as it is!” Ooh. Those words sounded much more intimidating in Jotaro’s voice.
“Okay, but if you snap your arm handshaking someone, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“It only feels like that to you because you’re stronger than me,” you huffed. “In fact, I can probably pick you up with ease in this new body.”
“Don’t. You. Dare.” Jotaro glared you down, but in your body, it was far less intimidating. In fact, you had to hold back laughter from how silly it looked.
“What are you gonna do? I know my body’s limits, and I know it can do nothing to yours.”
“Because I have Star Platinum by my side,” Jotaro said. However, in attempt to show his Stand off, he summoned Ace of Pentacles instead. That could only mean one thing...
“Oh, ho, ho!” You looked Star Platinum in the eyes, then looked down at Jotaro smugly. “Looks like I have the almighty Stand now!”
Both Ace and Star looked a little confused and defensive at their user's body, as if they knew it was someone else.
"Don't worry, Star," you smiled. "It's me, (Y/N). And Ace, that's just Jotaro."
Both Stands seemed to accept that answer, and lowered their defenses. You crossed your arms, and smirked. "I can even calm Star Platinum better than you," you said to Jotaro. "What does that say about you as a Stand user?"
“Can you wipe that stupid grin off your face?” Jotaro asked. “It looks good on you, but not on me. Also, we need to find who did this, and fast.”
“Yeah, I agree,” you replied. “Although it’s nice being tough and strong, it’s weird feeling something between my thighs.”
This time, it was Jotaro’s turn to clench his teeth and blush. “I’m going to kill you once I have Star Platinum again,” he murmured.
“Oh, don’t act like you can’t feel a difference in your chest.”
“Anyway,” Jotaro quickly changed the subject, “we have to find the others and explain this situation. Let’s go.”
“Fine,” you laughed. Woah. You’ve never heard Jotaro’s voice laugh like you just did. It sounded nice, actually. “I can’t wait to see what Star Platinum feels like in action.”
“It’s super cool.”
“Guess I’ll find out when we get to our enemy.” You grabbed Jotaro and hoisted him up, which made him give out a small yelp, and immediately clamp his mouth.
“Yeah,” he said. “I’m not dealing with this body forever.”
Once you got to the hotel that everyone was staying in, it took a couple of protests to convince Joseph that you were really in each other’s bodies.
“You’re kidding,” Joseph laughed. “You’ve got to be kidding!”
“Mr. Joestar, I promise you, this is serious!” you told him.
“You’re doing pretty good, Jotaro,” Joseph replied. “I can’t believe you’d call me anything other than old man.”
“That’s because I didn’t, old man!” Jotaro growled. “We’re telling the truth! We had an encounter with an enemy!”
“Mr. Joestar,” Kakyoin said, “I think they’re serious. Look at the way they stand. The look in their eyes. The subtle stuff that they wouldn’t be able to catch if they were pranking us.”
Joseph looked up and down both of them, then muttered, “You're right. They do kinda look like their bodies have swapped.”
"Well," Avdol added, "there's only one way to reverse this, you know."
"Killing the user," you sighed.
"But it's getting late," Joseph told you. "We'll deal with it tomorrow."
"No!" Jotaro protested. "I'm not going to sleep in a girl's body!"
"I'd take your place, Jotaro," Polnareff snickered. He didn't realize that you had summoned Star Platinum and sent a punch straight to his face.
"Don't you EVER say something like that again!" you yelled. "I'm lucky I swapped bodies with Jotaro and not you!"
"Anyway," Kakyoin glared at Polnareff, who was rubbing his cheek, "how does it feel in a boy's body, (Y/N)? Just out of curiosity."
"Strange," you answered. "Really strange."
"What feels different?" Polnareff asked, a smug smile spread across his face.
"I don't really know how to answer that," you laughed. "I mean, how do you describe being in a body that's not yours? Surreal?"
"Old man, please, we have to find this guy tonight! I'm not sleeping in (Y/N)'s body." Jotaro begged Joseph. "Do you realize how awkward this is for both of us?"
“My mind has been made,” Joseph said. “We’re going to wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and ready to catch our Stand user!”
“Hey, I’m sure it won’t be that bad,” you consoled Jotaro, although you were unsure who you were trying to convince. “As long as you keep yourself fully clothed, it’ll be fine... I think.”
“Same goes for you,” Jotaro added. “I mean, I guess I don’t mind the shirt coming off, but the pants stay on.”
“That’s fair,” you said. “Well, goodnight, Jotaro.”
“Night.”
The two of you went to your hotel rooms, and when you closed the door, you sighed heavily. Being in another person’s body was exhausting. You turned to your bed, and saw Iggy, head tilted.
“Relax, Iggy, it’s me, (Y/N),” you chuckled. “Jotaro and I had an encounter with a Stand that swapped our bodies.”
You went to the bathroom to brush your teeth, which was really weird, since you were staring into the mirror at someone else’s reflection. When you were done, you jumped into your bed, which Iggy kept warm for you. Yawning, you curled up into your favorite sleeping position, and closed your eyes. The problem was, in Jotaro's body, you were far from comfortable in that position. You tried another one. Still uncomfortable. You kept trying all sorts of different positions that you hoped would work in this body, but no prevail. Eventually, you had tossed and turned so much Iggy decided it would be better to sleep on the floor. Groaning, you got up from bed, left your room, and knocked on Jotaro's door.
"What do you want?" you heard your voice from the other side.
"What sleeping position is the most comfortable for you?" you asked.
"I could ask you the same thing." Jotaro went to open the door, but didn't realize you were leaning on it. As soon as he opened it, you stumbled over and fell down right next to him.
"Hey, try to be a little more careful in my body," Jotaro said. "I don't want to come back to bruises and scars that were from something stupid like leaning on an opening door and falling over. Anyway, I usually sleep straight up, legs spread apart, arms to my sides."
After exchanging sleeping positions, you headed back to your room, where Iggy had fallen asleep on the floor. You tried the position that Jotaro told you, and noticed how comfortable it was in his body. Finally, you were able to go to sleep. Hopefully, this whole thing would be sorted out in the morning.
***
“Kakyoin!”
You had to be honest, even if he wasn’t as buff as the other men in the group, you could definitely feel a difference from your body and his. After all, he did carry some beef with him, and it was noticeable to you.
“Ugh, I think I hit my head too hard,” you heard your voice say. “My voice sounds all weird, and I feel really strange.”
Right. If you were in Kakyoin’s body, then Kakyoin was bound to be in your body. You kind of wanted to tell him the situation, but another part of you wanted to see him figure it out himself.
“Wait a minute,” he muttered. “This voice sounds familiar. And these hands look familiar.” He looked down at his (your) shirt, and gasped. “This is... (Y/N)’s body!” He looked up at you (him) in horror. “Tha-that’s... my... body...”
You nodded.
“And I’m... not in it...”
Again, you nodded.
“Why don’t you say something, (Y/N)?” Kakyoin shuddered. “You’re creeping me out.”
“There hasn’t been a need,” you answered.
“Fair,” he nodded. “Still! Aren’t you freaked out by this, too?” He got up and started moving his limbs back and forth. “It’s so...” he shivered in disgust. “I feel like a pervert in this body.”
“Don’t say it like that!” you exclaimed. “You’re making me imagine things that you’d do in my body I don’t want to imagine.”
“Sorry, sorry,” Kakyoin quickly apologized. “I didn’t mean it like that.”
“It’s okay,” you told him. “We should probably tell the others before we go off and try to find the Stand user ourselves.”
Kakyoin nodded in agreement, but before you headed off to the hotel, you heard him say, “Wait. Do we have each other’s Stands? Or do we keep the same Stand?”
“Well, only one way to find out,” you shrugged. Both of you summoned your Stands. Or, rather, each other’s Stands, because, sure enough, the Stands didn’t travel with you. You were able to harness Hierophant Green, and Kakyoin could wield Ace of Pentacles. And the Stands seemed to realize that whoever was in this body was not their user, but they were hesitant to do anything that would kill the intruder.
"Don't worry, Hierophant, I'm (Y/N)," you told him. "Kakyoin and I got into a little bit of trouble, and now our bodies are swapped." Luckily, Hierophant seemed to understand, and calmed down.
"Okay, now that we know the Stand situation," Kakyoin said, "let's go tell everyone else what happened." He started walking to the hotel, and you quickly followed.
"So," Jotaro leaned against the wall and crossed his arms, "my two best friends have been attacked by an enemy Stand while going to buy some things, and now they're trapped in each other's bodies."
"Sounds about right," you nodded.
"Yeah, that's what happened," Kakyoin replied.
Jotaro lowered his hat and sighed. "Good grief," he muttered. "This isn't going to end well."
"Anyway," Kakyoin said, "we should probably find this user as soon as possible. It won't be good if we're forever in each other's bodies."
"I wholeheartedly agree," Joseph answered, "but it's getting really late. How about we get a good night's sleep and wake up completely ready to take on the user?"
"No!" you both exclaimed at the same time.
"This feels weird! I don't wanna sleep in Kakyoin's body!" You squirmed just thinking about it. "No offense, Kakyoin."
"None taken, because I feel the exact same way," Kakyoin replied.
"Well, the rest of us are tired," Polnareff said, "so unless you plan on going out in the streets of Cairo alone, you better get some rest."
"Fine," both of you sighed. Before you headed off to your rooms, though, Kakyoin shared something with you.
"In case you didn't know, my most comfortable sleeping position is on my side, curled up. It would probably be the most comfortable to sleep in that position."
You told Kakyoin your usual sleeping position, too, then both of you headed off to your hotel rooms.
"Oh, and one more thing."
You turned your head. "Yeah?"
"I have PJs if you want to use those."
You thought about it for a little bit, then said, "You sure trust me a lot if you'd let me undress in your body. Unless it's not about trust..." you wiggled your eyebrows.
Well, now you knew what you looked like when you blushed. "Um, uh, no, that's not what I meant, at all, I promise," Kakyoin stuttered. "I mean, my school uniform isn't the comfiest thing to sleep in, so, heh, y'know, PJs are, are much comfier. It really is about trust, honest!"
"I know what you meant," you laughed as you went down to pat his head. Er, your head. This was so confusing. "And trust me, I'll change as quickly as possible."
Kakyoin sighed with relief. "Okay, I'll go get them from my room."
While you patiently waited for Kakyoin to come back, you started playing with his hair, pulling his long strand down, then letting go and watching it bounce back up again. It was actually pretty entertaining. At least, more entertaining than it should be.
"Okay, here's the PJs," Kakyoin tossed them up to you. "Good night, (Y/N)."
"Good night," you replied.
This time, you truly parted ways. When you got to your room, Iggy stood on all fours defensively.
"Don't worry, Iggy," you chuckled. "Kakyoin and I got into a fight with an enemy Stand, but I'm still (Y/N)."
Iggy laid back down, and yawned as he fell asleep. Quickly, you changed out of Kakyoin's uniform and slipped into his much comfier pajamas, and turned off the light, snuggling up next to Iggy. This would all be sorted out in the morning, you knew it. For now, you needed to rest. And rest you did.
“Joseph!”
You were always surprised on how fit Joseph was, especially with his old age, but this was beyond what you thought it would feel like. You expected at least a few creaky bones, but he was still in tip top shape, and you couldn’t help but flex his arms and feel his strength coursing through your veins.
“OH MY GO-“ your voice shouted, but cut off for some odd reason. You whipped your head around to see your body suddenly reanimated, spinning around in circles and darting its eyes all across the surface. “What happened? Why am I in (Y/N)’s body?”
“Mr. Joestar, please calm down!” you begged. “I don’t want people thinking I’m crazy!”
“Ah!” Joseph exclaimed. “You’re in my body, too? What’s going on?”
“Do you really think I have any more of a clue than you do?” you asked, still not used to his voice. “Look, I’m a high school girl in a grown man’s body! Do you think this is any easier for me?”
“We have to get back and tell the others about all of this!” Joseph said. “Come on, (Y/N), let’s go!”
As Joseph started running, you joined him, boosted by his incredible strength, and scooped him up along the way.
“Mr. Joestar,” Avdol said, “don’t you think a prank like this is a little too much for our current situation? And how did you get (Y/N) to agree to this?”
“Avdol, I am (Y/N),” you replied. “This isn’t a joke! I have Ace of Pentacles and everything!” You tried to summon her, but you were met with purple thorns. Uh oh. That could only mean that Joseph had Ace.
“This isn’t helping our argument,” Joseph muttered as he summoned Ace of Pentacles. “Look, we’re telling the truth, you have to believe us,” he pleaded.
“Favorite colors,” Jotaro said. “Go.”
“(Color),” you stated.
“Yellow,” Joseph answered.
“Favorite foods.”
“(Food).”
“Squid ink spaghetti.”
“My favorite food.”
You stayed silent, since you had no idea.
“Your mom’s cooking,” Joseph stated. “You used to be such a momma’s boy.”
“Yup, they’re in the wrong bodies,” Jotaro concluded. “There’s no way (Y/N) would have known that.”
“Finally!” you sighed. “I was beginning to worry you’d never believe us and we’d have to go find this guy on our own.”
“That would be pretty bad,” Kakyoin chuckled. “Neither of you have fighting Stands.”
“At least I have a fighting body,” Joseph beamed, putting his hands on his hips. “Well, I did.”
“That fighting body is mine now,” you smirked, flexing his muscles.
“Cut that out!” Joseph tried shoving you, but in your body, it did next to nothing. He tried harder. Still almost nothing. He pushed his back against you. He ran and jumped. He attacked you from above. Everything he tried was useless as you stood, as strong as a pillar, in the exact same place.
“You’re no fun,” he pouted. “You could at least act like I did something.”
You looked down at him, gave him a tiny push, and watched as he toppled over. “Nice acting, Mr. Joestar,” you chuckled.
“That hurt,” Joseph mumbled. “That hurt a lot.”
“What’s that?” You held up a hand to an ear. “I can’t hear you since you’re so much closer to the ground than I am.”
“I’ll pay you back when this is over, you know,” Joseph warned, “so I’d stop now if I were you.”
“Then why don’t you stop?” you asked him. “After all, you are me.”
“You know what I mean,” he grumbled.
“I know, I know,” you laughed. “I’ll stop.”
“Anyway, I’m getting a little tired,” Joseph yawned. “How about we hit the hay for tonight? We can go after this Stand user tomorrow when we’re refreshed.”
“Oh, you’re delusional if you think I’m spending a night in your body!” you exclaimed.
“And you’re delusional if you think I’m going after a Stand user in the middle of the night!” Joseph retorted. “No way, no how! An old man needs his sleep, you know.”
“But you’re not an old man right now, are you?” you countered. “You’re a high school girl. We stay up late. You should be raring to go, excited to explore the wonders of Egypt late at night.”
“If that were true,” Joseph said, “Then you should be exhausted and begging me to go to bed, yet here you are.”
“Good point,” you muttered. “Fine. We’ll go to bed.”
When you got to your room, Iggy was already asleep, so he couldn’t be bothered by your arrival. Thank goodness. He probably wouldn’t take too kindly to your new, hopefully temporary form. Unfortunately, you had to toss and turn so much that you ended up awakening him, anyway. And, of course, Iggy wouldn’t allow anyone but you to sleep in your bed.
“Iggy! It’s me!” you cried as you held the growling dog as far away from Joseph’s hair as possible. “It’s (Y/N)! Mr. Joestar and I got into some trouble with an enemy, and our bodies are swapped!” Iggy seemed to believe you, thankfully, and stopped attacking you.
A knock on the door made you jump, but you quickly asked, “Who is it?”
“It’s Joseph,” came your voice from the other side. “How do you sleep in this body? I can’t find a comfortable position.”
You sighed, realizing you were suffering the same problem. “I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours,” you answered, opening the door.
“I usually sleep with my arms and legs extended off the bed, face up,” Joseph answered.
“How do you sleep like that?” you asked.
“How do you not?”
“That’s fair.”
You told Joseph your preferred sleeping position, and then he left back to go to his room. Sinking down in your bed, you realized how comfortable it was to sleep belly down in this body. You yawned, and slowly drifted off to sleep. You would swap back to your body in the morning, and that’s all you needed to know to feel at peace.
***
“Polnareff!”
Having your hair in a tower felt really strange, considering you’ve never had it up like that before. It felt weirder than having all of the bulk from his muscles on your skin. Although, you were less worried about how you felt, and more worried about how Polnareff would feel. He’s the one you trusted the least in your body.
The sound of not so distant screams caught your attention, and you knew Polnareff was awake.
“This is bad, this is really bad!” he panicked. “I shouldn’t be in a girl’s body!”
Well, that was a relief. He didn’t seem to be immediately overjoyed. Maybe he would be trustworthy after all.
“Look, let’s just get back to the hotel,” you suggested, “and we can figure this out with the help of everyone else.”
“That sounds good,” Polnareff answered, still a little shaken. It wasn’t until you two had been walking for a while when you heard Polnareff giggle a little.
“You know, I was a bit freaked out at first, but feeling this light and delicate is a nice change.”
“I’m not light and delicate!” you shot back. “I’m just as strong as everyone else!”
“Relax, madame,” Polnareff held up his hands in defense. “All I’m saying is that you feel light and delicate. You’re far from that.”
“Thanks,” you answered. You could feel a light blush coming up to your cheeks. “That means you won’t be touchy-feely when you’re alone if we don’t get this sorted out by nightfall, right?”
“No promises,” Polnareff smirked.
“No, there has to be a promise,” you insisted. “I won’t let you get a moment alone if there’s no promise.”
“I’m kidding,” Polnareff laughed nervously. “I’ll keep my hands, er, your hands, away from your body.”
“Good,” you finished, making sure not to break your seriousness. “Thank you.”
After a few minutes of walking, Polnareff started to get a little jumpy. “Um, I don’t know if this is okay, but I really have to use the restroom. May I? I know it might not be comfortable with you, but I’m about to-“
“Just go,” you interrupted. “We all need to.”
“Thank you,” Polnareff sighed, and ran into the men’s restroom, quickly coming out and running to the woman’s.
“What do you mean there’s no urinals?! You pee SITTING DOWN?!”
You turned beet red as you heard your voice yell out, and covered your face in your hands. That was your voice, in your body, shouting those very words.
“I’m going to kill you,” you hissed when Polnareff left the restroom.
“You can’t kill me, you only have Ace of Pentacles,” Polnareff gloated. However, once he summoned Ace, he was taken aback. “Uh oh.”
“You’re lucky I don’t want to kill my body, or I’d have Silver Chariot slice you to bits right now,” you growled, summoning Polnareff’s Stand. “Girls pee sitting down. That’s why there’s no urinals. Don’t ever, EVER, say those words in that order again, especially to other women who don’t know the situation we’re in right now. Got it?” You had the tone of a mother who quietly scolded her child in public, the angry whisper when she can’t cause a scene.
“Yup, I got it,” Polnareff nodded quickly and quietly.
Once you got to the hotel, you and Polnareff explained, as best as you could, what happened to the two of you.
“So, you’re (Y/N), and you’re Polnareff?” Kakyoin pointed to the opposite bodies as he said your names, which were, at the time, the correct bodies. This was confusing. You both nodded, and Kakyoin sighed. “This is bound to make at least one of you mad.”
“Already happened,” Polnareff replied sheepishly.
“Anyway,” you interrupted, “we need to find the user, or else we’ll be stuck in these bodies forever.”
“Not tonight,” was Joseph’s answer. “We aren’t going tonight. I doubt he’ll get too far before the sun rises.”
“What?” you exclaimed. “No! I don’t trust Polnareff for a whole night!”
“Sleep in the same room I don’t care,” Joseph answered, “but I’m getting my rest, no matter what.”
“Look, I promise,” Polnareff told you. “I absolutely, positively promise nothing will happen to this body while I’m in it.”
“Doesn’t matter, you’re sleeping in my room tonight,” you replied. However, after some consideration, you remembered that Iggy was in your room, and that he loathed Polnareff more than anyone else. He would most likely rip all of your hair out before you could tell him that you were (Y/N). “Actually, your room. Your room tonight.”
“You’re sleeping on the floor, then, got it?” Polnareff asked. “My room, my rules.”
“It’s better than getting attacked by Iggy,” you sighed.
“You’re going to make a woman sleep on the floor?” Joseph asked. “What kind of man does that?”
“But I’m the woman now,” Polnareff countered. “Therefore, I get the bed.”
“Well, I’d rather wake up with back problems instead of going the rest of the day with back problems, so the bed’s all yours.”
“Huh,” Kakyoin said. “That was fast. I would at least expect (Y/N) to insist that Polnareff get her mattress from her room, since he’s in the body that Iggy hates the least.”
“That’s a good idea,” you complimented. “Polnareff, if you could be so kind and-“
“Already ahead of you,” he answered, leaving his room.
“I wonder how long it’ll take Iggy to realize that the person in your body is, in fact, not you,” Kakyoin chuckled.
“My bet is thirty seconds.”
“I’ll bet less than thirty.”
“Iggy! Iggy, stop! No!”
You heard a loud thud and barks from the tiny dog.
“Looks like I was right,” Kakyoin smirked.
“I’ll go calm Iggy down,” you laughed, and walked to your room. Hopefully Iggy connected the dots before you were attacked, as well. You entered the room, and he reared up and charged towards you.
“Iggy, wait!” you exclaimed, but it was too late. Iggy had pulled out a good amount of your hair, and you could smell an awful stench.
“Iggy,” you sighed, “it’s (Y/N). Polnareff and I swapped bodies.”
“I probably shouldn’t have called that dog a dumb mutt,” Polnareff muttered. “I think that’s what gave it away to him.”
“You think?” you groaned. “Come on, let’s get this mattress to your room.”
After some hard work (mostly put in by you), the mattress was successfully in Polnareff’s room, and you immediately curled up, and Polnareff landed face down on his bed. After a while, both of you were tossing and turning. Something about the way you two were sleeping did not settle well with the bodies you were in.
“Are you really going to sleep that way in that body?” Polnareff snorted. “(Y/N), that body is made to sleep face down. No other position is comfortable.”
“Maybe that’s why you can’t sleep in my body, either,” you suggested. “You’re sleeping in it wrong.”
“Perhaps that is what’s wrong,” Polnareff said to himself. He changed positions to how you were sleeping, and sighed happily. “My, my, this is so much more comfy!”
“Same here,” you replied. “Well, I’m going to go to sleep now. Goodnight, Polnareff.”
“Night.”
***
“Avdol!”
Woah. How many layers of clothing did this guy have? All of his coats and everything weighed you down much more than your clothing. However, all of that weight paid off for Avdol, because his arms were stronger than you could even imagine yours being.
“So, you’re awake, as well.”
You turned your head, and saw your body, fully reanimated. You concluded that the one speaking must have been Avdol.
“It seems that Stand has the ability to swap bodies,” he muttered, “and we happened to be the two he came into contact with.”
“Great,” you mumbled. “How do we reverse it?”
“Killing the user seems to be the only solution,” Avdol sighed. “Of course, he ran away as soon as his Stand landed an attack on us, so it’ll take a while for us to find him. But when we do, I’m prepared to use Magician’s Red, no matter what.” He summoned his Stand, but soon realized that it wasn’t who he thought it would be. Instead of summoning the fiery bird, he summoned Ace of Pentacles.
“Nice,” you said as you summoned Avdol’s former sidekick. “So I get to use him when the time comes.”
“I guess so,” Avdol chuckled. “Just remember, use those flames responsibly. We don’t want a bystander to get hurt.”
“I understand,” you nodded. “Plus, we should probably update the others on our situation before we go and fight this guy alone. For all we know, we could be swapped into a bystander’s body before we have the chance to fight him.”
“Good thinking,” Avdol replied. “Then it’s settled. We’ll go tell the others about this, first.”
When you got back to the hotel, Jotaro was already standing outside the doorway, leaning on the brick wall.
“There’s something different about you two,” he eyed you and Avdol suspiciously. “What did the enemy Stand do to you this time?”
“Swapped our bodies,” Avdol answered.
“So it was Avdol who answered me, then?” Jotaro asked. You both nodded.
“Ah, Avdol and (Y/N) are back,” Polnareff said as he emerged from the hotel’s entrance. “What supplies did you get?”
“Actually, we didn’t have time to get supplies,” you admitted. “We were attacked by an enemy.”
“Well, you got out fine,” Polnareff replied accusingly, “so why didn’t you get supplies after the attack?”
“Because we didn’t get out fine,” Avdol answered. “We’re in the wrong bodies.”
Polnareff playful grin suddenly vanished. “Oh,” he muttered.
“Anyway, we came here because it would be easier to take on this enemy with all five of us attacking,” you explained. “Where’s Mr. Joestar?”
“He already fell asleep,” Polnareff answered. “It is getting late, after all.”
“Then we’ll go without him.”
“No, that doesn’t seem like a good idea,” Avdol told you. “I mean, think about it. Leaving a member of our team alone while he’s out like a light? That could easily put him in danger. Plus, it would be bad if we all felt tired while trying to fight against someone else. We should sleep.”
“Fine,” you groaned. “Let’s go to bed.”
When you got to your bedroom, Iggy didn’t do much but give you a slight head tilt.
“It’s me, Iggy,” you consoled the worried dog. “It’s (Y/N). Avdol and I got put in the wrong bodies from an enemy.”
Iggy laid back down, accepting the answer. As you brushed your teeth, you kept staring at the reflection that wasn’t yours. It was strange to be in another body. As you laid in your bed, you noticed how comfortable it was. Even in different sleeping positions, you felt like you could sleep for hours. Avdol’s body was a blessing right now, since you probably couldn’t have possibly fallen asleep in any other body from the gravity of this situation. However, right as you were about to be out for the night, you heard a knock on your door. “Who is it?”
“Avdol,” your voice said from the other side. “Pardon my interruption, but I could really use some sleep, and for that, I need your sleeping position.”
You opened the door, and looked down to meet eyes with Avdol. After you told him your usual sleeping position, he nodded, and went back to his hotel room. Now, you went back to your bed, and almost instantly fell asleep. Tomorrow, everything would be solved. Now, you needed to rest up for the day ahead.
Don’t you remember?
(A SDC Jotaro x Oc +DIO fanfic )
Hi guys! This is a commission piece that I have done for @fyrestrike , I hope that you enjoy this fanfiction! This is a good example of what you could get when you commission me!~
I will get back to my regular ways of posting very soon! With that, on with the fanfiction!
Some things may be different,but the plot is mostly the same and the ending is mostly the same!
Also I apologize if any of the characters seem out of character! ❤️❤️❤️
———————————————————————
It was cold, very cold. I didn’t expect Egypt to get so cold this quickly. I was with Jotaro Kujo and his group of friends, I could call them that. They called themselves the Stardust Crusaders, and from what I know, they were searching for a man named DIO. That’s all they told me at least, and I could barely remember how I ended up with the group anyways. Mr. Joseph told me they found me wandering the desert by myself. I found that hard to believe because I hated the heat of the desert, but I just went along with it and decided to stay with them.
Jotaro and Kakyoin were the only ones I stayed closed to really, with all of us being around the same age, and with I apparently attending the same high school as them. They helped me understand the situation that was going on and the reason why we were in Egypt. I felt bad for Jotaro, his mom is in bad condition, and he had to drop everything and go on some wild ass adventure in order to save her. I tried to be as much help as I could be, I do have a stand, that I know, but I don’t know how to use it at all.
But all that out the way. Stand user after Stand user. Attack after Attack, we finally reached Cairo, Egypt. I cheered happily as I ran up to the hotel that we were going to be staying in. Mr. Joseph chuckled as he went up to the desk and prepared the rooms for us, Leaving the rest of use to chat and talk. I yawned and leaned on Jotaro, who was pretending to be annoyed, “Yare yare, What the hell are you doing?” He asked, gaze shifting down on me. I smiled at him and let out a small giggle, “Im resting on you until we can get our rooms straight, I don’t see how you guys can do it!” I say throwing my hands up, being playfully dramatic. Polnareff laughed and I knew even before he began talking what he was going to say.
“ Well Dearie, Maybe it’s because you’re a girl~ This mission is built for strong men! It’s our job to protect you anyway!” He said, flexing slight only to get hit on the back of the head by Jotaro. “She’s strong, why do you think we brought her along, She can handle herself. Last time I checked you cant defeat anyone without our help” He said back, a smirk appearing on his features as he watched Polnareff try to gather his comeback. But before he could get it out, Mr. Joseph came over giving everyone their room keys.
Joseph was with Avdol, Polnareff with Kakyoin, and……
Me and Jotaro.
A part of me wanted to speak up and say: ‘CAN I CHANGE PLEASE?!’ Because being in the same room with Jotaro for a long period of time like this. I don’t think I could take it. But alas, I didn’t same a damn thing and here I was, walking to the room with Jotaro beside me. It was a quiet peaceful walk, Jotaro was a quiet person I discovered. He didn’t talk much and when he did, it usually was a one-liner, his signature catchphrase or snark. I loved the silence to be honest, I think it added more to his personality, I thought it was sweet that he is out here risking his life for his mother, even though he doesn’t know what lay ahead.
When we reached the room, I unlocked the door and pushed it open, the room was nice, it was room, had a couch with a television in front of it, a small kitchen and dining area. But there was one problem that stuck out the most.
There was only one bed.
I felt a blush rise up on my cheeks but I tried to be calm about it, but it seemed that Jotaro could read my emotions. “I’ll take the couch, “ He muttered walking past me. I grabbed his coat stopping him and shyly looked up at him. “hey, we can share the bed, I don’t mind. I usually stay on one side curled up in a ball” I said trying to make light of the tense environment, He let out a small grunt which I could only imagine was an “Ok’. I smiled as I went over to unpacking my small book bag, I only had a small amount of clothes with me. From what I remember, I packed two changes of clothes and night clothes along with the necessities. But everytime I try to remember where I came from, it leads to a massive headache. One that’s trying to basically tell me that the memory isn’t there.
It bothered me, and while I was changing into my night clothes I tried very hard to think and think trying to see if I could bring it back. I let out a frustrated yell as finished getting dressed and I walked out, but as I walked back into the bedroom, I got a surging pain in the back of my head, plopped down on the bed and it felt like someone else had a control on my body, and a voice that I have never heard before starting talking.
“It seems that my little devil is missing me…don’t worry, I’ll be waiting for you, you’ll remember me soon, you will…”
I let out a scream, one made of confusion and fear, as I couldn’t move my body, I felt like someone was just sitting on me, all of their weight pushing down upon me. I must’ve spooked Jotaro because he came rushing in the room and shook me, I could feel him shaking me, but I couldn’t move. Finally I found the strength to rise up and shake make head. When I opened my eyes up again I was staring into Jotaro’s baby blue eyes. He didn’t even said anything, he just hugged me and held me tightly. He lifted me up and placed me in bed correctly, I tried to move and show him that I was alright. But he held me in place, he wouldn’t let go. “Jotaro I am fine, that was just a little scare okay? Nothing too serious” I said, he shook his head and his grip on me tightened. “Quiet. Don’t say anything , just go to sleep.” He muttered. It was severely out of character for Jotaro to act like this, but I guess I really scared him with what happened. I felt horrible and I wanted to say that I was sorry for letting myself get like that but sleep took over me before I even could.
(TimeSkip. two days later)
We were up and on the move again.
Neither Jotaro or I talked about what took place that night , but I noticed he was closer to me more then he ever was before. He kept a close eye on me, which earned light teasing from Polnareff and Joseph. He brushed it off but I could see the blush that was coming up onto his face. He said his signature catch phrase before walking ahead from the group. I knew better though, and I tried not to let the teasing get to me as we pushed forward.
I felt ominous feelings coming from the large building in front of us.
And it seemed like another one of those moments like I had last time except that instead of me just not being able to move, I completely blacked out. It was dark, I could see Jotaro and the others anymore, but I could feel someone’s arms picking me up from the ground. I tried to scream but nothing came out, only a chuckle, a deep chuckle that couldn’t have come from any of the crusaders. I froze, it was the same tone of the voice I had previously heard. His footsteps were heavy, and his voice had a velvet like tone, “Fyre…I’ve been waiting for you…those Joestars brought you right to me…Like a little present~” He spoke. His voice was so familiar, Like even before my little black out.
All I know that I am scared.
My vision slowly started coming back, I could see that I was no longer with Jotaro and the group but i was with some weird man with blonde hair. When he realized I was awake he smirked wide, showing me a wide toothy like grin. “My darling is awaken now~ tell me, how did you enjoy your time away from me darling?~” He says placing me down in what felt a a plush like bed. It felt soft, I’m not gonna lie, it was really soft, I regained motion in my limbs and I made myself sit up so quickly. I glared at him, if looks could kill, he would’ve been dead.
He chuckled, turning fully to get a good look at him. He was about as tall as Jotaro, he was shirtless and very built, having a strange scar around his neck that made it look like his body was just attached with a needle and thread. I backed up as far as I could to the wall. He walked (more like sassy step) towards me before stopping at the end of the bed. “Don’t you remember me? Fyre, I made you what you are. My little Devil. That stand you have, it’s because of me. You are mine. I don’t care what that Jotaro fool says or does for you.” He growled. “Liar!! Jotaro found me! He took care of me! I don’t know who you are!!” I yelled back, but with brute force, I was held against the wall by a humanoid looking figure, he was a bright yellow and had muscles of steel. I struggled against him before sighing but not giving up totally.
The male must’ve saw and laughed. “Foolish. Foolish Fyre...Don’t you remember, How do you think you got out there in the first place~” he said getting close to my face. Now staring me down with those bright, crazed green eyes. For some reason, a memory that was laying deep in my mind came barreling back full force.
(Flashback Start)
“Where are you going!? You can’t get far, Little Devil!!”
His voice was taunting, he was taunting me, he knew that he could catch up to me if he wanted to. DIO was a damn bastard, a horrible excuse for a living- no an monstrous being. I kept running, refusing to fall prey for this damn man ever again, he kept me just a trophy, no one ever coming to visit me except him. The look on his servants faces when they say me run past shows that he never let anyone know that I existed.
I kicked open the door with one swift move and kept it moving, the desert sand kicking up behind me. I could feel his gaze on me, the thing he had on my forehead was weakening. His powers on me were not working, he made a mistake of stabbing me with the Stand Arrow, my stand was powerful an it allowed me to go against his will.
I ran and ran and ran until I felt my body slowing down, I couldn’t see anything and I collapsed, panting heavily as my body finally gave out, the adrenaline gone. I turned on my back and laid there looking at the sky as I closed my eyes. My breath slowing down and my conscious slowly slipping away.
“Oi, Is that a girl on the ground?...”
“Yea, I think you’re right Jotaro! What shall we do?”
“....Gigi..she’s coming with us.”
(Flashback End)
I tried to head butt him once my memory started coming back. I knew who he was. I knew what he did to me. He took me away from my family, kept me captive for god knows how long. DIO, His name now ringing a bell in my head. I growled and glared daggers at him. “Fuck you!! Fuck you bastard! You caused this! You made me like this you fucking bastard!!” I yelled kicking and thrashing about, He just stood there laughing at me, that same fucking taunting laugh that he used before. He snapped his fingers, and the ghost (stand that I now remember as ‘The World’) disappeared making me drop to the floor. When I went to stand up he pushed me back into the wall, his hand wrapped firmly around my neck.
“Listen here Little Devil. I don’t like the way that you are acting right now...You either shape up or else I’ll have to punish you severely for disobeying me.” He practically growled. I clawed at his hands gripping and trying to pull his hands away as I began to get light headed from his grip. “Fuck..you..” I muttered out, only making his grip tighter making him madder. A loud bang and a rush of footsteps made him release his grip.
“Lord DIO!! The Joestars have reached here! They’re currently fighting Vanilla Ice!”
He groaned, clearly annoyed but I saw it as an opportunity to run.
And so I did.
I took off out of the room, speeding past the servant. This speed was inhuman to me, I didn’t know where I came from but I just chalked it up to my adrenaline rushing as i was scared. I could hear his yelling but couldn’t make out the words that he said. Everything was a blur to me until I came to a skidding halt when I saw what I could only make out to see as Jotaro.
“JOTARO!” I yelled. ‘God I hope I don’t sound too desperate..’ I thought as I ran over to him, out of breath and scared. He look up and then rushed over to my side, he checked my forehead and checked all over my head before finally hugging me tightly. He let go and pulled his hat over his eyes letting out his signature catchphrase. “Yare Yare, We’ll talk later. We have to go and find-“ “DIO! He’s here! He’s the one who took me!” I blurted out. He looked at me then pulled me along, and off we went again. I was scared beyond belief, I can’t believe that this want the man, or well, thing, Jotaro and his Grandfather had been searching for all along, and he knew me!
Little did I know the carnage along the way that happened. While we were chasing after DIO, Polnareff ran into the them. And we lost two members of our group, Muhammad Avdol and a little French bull terrier named Iggy to one of DIO’s toadys. We didn’t have time to grieve, we didn’t have time to cry or anything. We had to keep moving on! I kept quiet as DIO’s words kept ringing in my ears.
“I made you. My little Devil, Don’t you remember?”
I shook my head as we entered the city. It was busy, as it was night time. Probably filled with tourists and natives alike, all of them unknowingly putting themselves in danger. It was now Joseph, Jotaro, Polnareff and I together. Kakyoin was no where to be found, and they didn’t tell me what happened to him. But I didn’t ask questions at all, I just kept my mouth shut and moved along, but DIO was eating away at my thoughts, I wanted to question him, but was afraid of what he might do to me if I did.
But my time to confront him came quicker than ever as now Jotaro, Joseph and DIO we’re locked in a heated battle. This was it, Jotaros mom (Who I figured out before, was named Holly!) layed on the line along with the entire worlds fate was on their back. I stood on the side with Polnareff watching the battle take place, I felt helpless though. I wanted to help, after all, I have been a liability during this entire thing! I at least needed to get out and do something. I got up and began walking over to where they were only to get a bad feeling going up my spine. I looked over at DIO just to see his stand come out. I quickly picked up my past before yelling to him.
“JOTARO LOOK OUT!!”
“Za WARUDO”
Everything froze around me, everything was still. I don’t know how I was moving, and it seemed DIO was just as confused but he was too focused on Jotaro. Knives now heading towards and lodging themselves into said male. While time was still frozen he looked at me and it seemed that I was a look of surprised. I was confused before I felt something, or rather someone behind me. I turned and there it was, or rather their she was, as it looked like a female. She had curly horns that could rival with Satan himself, large bat like wings with a shiny gleam coming off them, a short black dress with her entire back out along with small bats on her tights that looked like they were very much alive. She had light pink skin with red blush in certain spots, full pink lips , top and bottom fangs that could probably cut through diamond if she wanted to. she had bright lime green snake like eyes, long curly lilac purple hair that falls behind her knees hair. Finally there was a large tail swishing back and forth with a heart on the end, spikes lining the tail leading all the way up to her back.
I stood up as time started over again, Jotaro fell back , knives all over him. I wanted to scream but I knew that would show weakness, and especially to him, it would give him a huge ego booster. I watched as Jotaro laid motionless on the ground, DIO places his head on the ground trying to hear movement or heart beats of any kind and smirked once he didn’t. He began laughing as he made his way over to me, “Your darling hero isn’t with you anymore. And I’m so glad, his death made you finally show your stand. Might I say, it’s quiet beautiful perfect for a queen like yourself.” He said, now barely a foot away from me. I smirked myself, a thing I don’t normally do. “The Queen part you’re right about. But I wouldn’t celebrate to quickly.” I said. Landing a quick blow to his head myself, making him stumble back. He growled at me but kept a smug smirk on his face. “My little Devil..You think you can stop me! Your puny Stand means nothing to me!”
“But mines does.” I smiled as Jotaro was behind him now. Star Platinum now behind him as well looking madder than ever. I stepped back quickly to avoid the fist fight between the two stand users. I had to admit, it looked beautiful, the colors clashing together, the raw strength of both of their stands clashing and fighting each other. It was amazing. I crouched down using my stand to make a shield for myself to dodge oncoming debris coming my way, I closed my eyes because another part of me didn’t want to see the end result. It was painful, very painful, I didn’t want to see anymore of my friends get hurt anymore, I panted slightly, my vision getting blurry, I don’t know if it’s a side effect from my stand or I’m just tired. I felt my body falling to the ground after hearing a blood curdling scream and the sound of something splitting apart, before everything fades to black.
I shot straight up only to see myself connected to hospital IV’s and looked around. I looked at my arms and touched my face to make sure I was in one piece. I sighed once I figured out I was all fine and sat back on the bed. The door open and first came in was a Nurse coming to make sure I was okay, checking all my vitals, blood pressure , all the medical stuff, then following was Mr. Joestar. “Hey! Look who’s arose from the dead! I’m glad you’re okay!” He said walking up to my bed side, a hand on my arm. “Did we win? Is he dead?” Is what I asked first.
He nodded slightly and stood up. “Yep! We sure did...We’re gonna be heading back to Japan once you get all better, Trust me, My grandson has been worried sick about you, you gotta stop passing out on us!” He said jokingly. I tilted my head in confused. Jotaro was worried about me? I found that hard to believe, but when the male came into my room with a large bouquet of flowers, I believed it then.
He handed them over to me with a blush gracing his features. They were beautiful shades of blue with some red in it. “this is for you..” He muttered, I grabbed and smiled softly, pulling him close and placing a kiss on his cheek. I smelled the flowers and hugged them close to my chest.
“Hey Jotaro, When we get back..Can we hang out more?..”
“...Sure, I wouldn’t mind that at all..”
Missing You Dearly
Jotaro is really bad at feelings. He also really needs a hug.Can be read as either shippy or platonic, depends on how you see it.
I wanted to write something with Star Platinum being protective of Joot because I just find Star and Jotaro’s friendship super adorable
Word Count: 2620
◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇
The night sky was beautiful. Jotaro never thought he’d see such beautiful sights, especially at his age. The stars shone brightly over them like a comforting blanket piercing the sky. A beautiful and lulling gaze came over the desert wastelands, and Jotaro never thought that the desert could be any more beautiful than it was now. He wanted so much to take the scenery in as the rest of his companions slept, but he couldn’t.
It was hard to enjoy it with all the pressure they were under.
It was tense. They were all tense. The looming threat that was constantly held over their heads was getting more and more difficult to bear, although they all got up each morning and acted like it was nothing.
Avdol and Polnareff still bickered over some stupid thing Polnareff had done and Joseph still cracked jokes even though his daughter was less than 30 days away from taking her last breath. Kakyoin tried his best to lighten the mood, but his efforts were fruitless when it came to Jotaro.
They all brushed it off as him being too stiff or angsty--as most teenagers were. But Jotaro just didn’t get it. How could everyone act like everything is fine? His mother was dying. DIO could destroy everything with the flick of his wrist and they were all playing games and telling stories in the back of Joseph’s jeep instead of planning their plot against him?
And now everyone was asleep. Well, everyone except for Jotaro, it seemed. The night sky was beautiful but the growing worry he felt dulled the stars in the sky. He lit a cigarette and stuck it between his lips.
The sky didn’t feel so much as a comfort anymore. It wasn’t a blanket; it was too big, too vast. He wondered what was going on up there. What could be out there? If he stared long enough at it, he felt like he was being sucked in. Would it feel good to be sucked in? Maybe he wanted to disappear more than anything.
He bit his lip as an overwhelming sense of dread filled him. He felt like an idiot. They were going to defeat DIO. His mother would be fine. Everyone was sure of it, even Avdol, even Joseph.
So why wasn’t he?
He sighed shakily. He felt too sweaty. Taking off his hat, Jotaro ran a trembling hand through his hair.
She’s gonna be fine, he told himself.
He didn’t want to admit it, but he really was worried. Jotaro was worried about his mother. And not just that--he missed her, too.
He missed the way she would kiss him on the forehead before school every morning. The way she would always make him breakfast by the time he trudged downstairs, never batting an eye when Jotaro would push it away, insisting that she stop babying him, but always getting him to eat it somehow.
He missed the way she would make him soup when he was sick and always made sure he got enough water. He never quite figured out how she could tell that he was under the weather from just a look or just from tenderly touching his forehead. He remembered the way he would weakly swat her away, only to find himself in his bed with a glass of water and a painkiller on his bedside table.
He- god- he missed the way she could always tell when he was upset no matter how hard he tried to hide it. She would never make him tell her anything, just wrap her arms around him and gently push his head into her shoulder. The smell of her perfume and the feeling of her clothes always reminded him of his childhood.
“Deep breath, Jotaro…” she would always say gently into his ear, “It's hard right now, but it’ll get easier and easier with each breath.”
She would say it every time, every goddamn time he needed it. Jotaro would always make fun of her for it. How could she say that, not knowing what he’s going through? Hell, it could be a test, a bad day at school, a fight he had gotten into…
...Yet, even though he would call her a bitch, call her clingy and stupid and annoying, he would always let out a breath in her arms. And he would feel just a bit better.
Though he would die before he told her that.
He wondered what she would do if she was sitting next to him right now. No, he knew exactly what she would do, and it only made him angrier. A wave of guilt washed over him. How many times had he called her a bitch, told her to die? What was the last thing he said to her before she got sick?
He could feel Star Platinum’s aura emerge around him. The stand, for once slow-moving, wrapped him up in a hug. He didn’t know if the stand was trying to replicate what his mother would do, but the warm embrace only made him feel worse.
“Get off of me,” he found himself snapping quietly. He didn’t want comfort. He didn’t need it. He didn’t deserve it.
“Ora,” the stand whispered. His words were meaningless, but his tone sounded concerned, almost sad. Maybe Star felt sad, too. His stand was a part of him, right? Could Star feel sad? Jotaro could see the worry in his stand’s eyes as he tried to take Jotaro’s hands in his.
“Ora ora.”
“Shut up,” he snarled, “You’re going to wake everyone up.”
As if on cue, he shot up from where he was sitting as his stand quickly dispersed and settled beneath his skin again. A figure rummaged around through the darkness until a flashlight clicked on.
“Good, you’re already awake.”
Joseph.
“What do you want, old man?” he grumbled. His skin still felt prickly and the dread he was feeling refused to go away. Joseph didn’t need to know that.
“It's better if we travel before the sun comes up,” he answered, “I’m setting up the Jeep. Go and wake up the others.”
Jotaro scoffed, but did so anyway, the uneasy feeling still hiding under his skin.
Once everything was set up, they crowded into the car. Avdol drove with Joseph sitting shotgun. Kakyoin and Polnareff occupied the middle seats and Jotaro had the seats in the very back to himself. The vehicle had enough leg-room for them to feel comfortable, but Jotaro felt like he was suffocating. It didn’t help that he was also 6’5”. He would normally take a seat in the middle section and let Polnareff take the back, but he would rather die than be surrounded by everyone.
Especially Kakyoin. He always asked too many questions.
Joseph was telling Avdol some story about his past adventures and Kakyoin listened intently. Polnareff chuckled every so often from in front of him. Whatever was so funny, Jotaro wasn’t listening. When was the last time he told his mom he loved him? When was the last time he had told her anything at all? What were the last words he said to her before he left?
He couldn’t remember. He couldn’t fucking remember.
“How’s Holly doing, Mr. Joestar?” Kakyoin asked. Apparently, he had tuned back in at the wrong time.
He heard Joseph sigh. “Not well. The doctors are saying her fever is becoming worse by the day. They tried her on a new medication, but…” Joseph paused, rethinking things, “Oh, talking about it is just dampening the mood. We’re doing all that we can. Anyway, these Pillarmen came out giant mounds of rock and-”
Jotaro froze.
It all hit him at once that he could never see his mother again. No more soup, no more breakfast, no more sweet remarks, no more hugs that he always took for granted, no more-
Who was he kidding? He was just 17. He wasn’t ready to lose his mom. He couldn’t lose his mom. He wanted her with him to hold him and hug him and worry about him and-
“-Don’t you think, Jotaro?...Jotaro?”
Polnareff’s voice sounded from the seat in front of him as he blinked in and out of his thoughts. Kakyoin turned around to face Jotaro, only for Star Platinum to appear, shielding Jotaro from their sights.
“Jota-”
“-ORAA!”
Star Platinum’s voice boomed loudly as he raised his fists in defense. The car swerved.
“Shit!” Avdol cursed, swerving the car back onto the road.
Joseph whipped his head backwards. “What the hell is going on?” Alarm turned to confusion as Star remained there, glaring at his allies. Joseph frowned.
“Uhm..Jotaro? What the hell is your stand doing?”
Jotaro bit his lip as tears formed in his eyes. For once, he was thankful that his stand decided to act on its protective nature.
“Ora.” Star Platinum said, now crossing his arms as if to say, ‘I’m not moving’. Jotaro felt a lump form in his throat. No matter what Star did, it wouldn’t bring his mother here. It wouldn’t save him from whoever he had to confront later. He couldn’t sit there forever.
“Is everything okay back there?” Avdol yelled tensely. Joseph didn’t answer and Polnareff seemed to be in a staring contest with Jotaro’s stand.
“We’re alright, Avdol,” Kakyoin answered. He didn’t elaborate. Telling him that Jotaro’s stand was acting weird would just make him unnecessarily stressed.
Polnareff and Kakyoin locked eyes in concern. Star wasn’t going to move. Joseph gave up on trying to talk to Jotaro and turned to Avdol to resume his story about some Italian adventure.
“You think he’s good back there?” Polnareff whispered, careful not to say the wrong thing under Star’s watch. Kakyoin frowned.
“Let me talk to him. Just...talk to Joseph or something,” he whispered back, leaving Polnareff to turn his attention to the front. Once he was sure that Polnareff was laughing hysterically again at some things Joseph was saying, he turned his attention back to Star Platinum.
“Hey, Star,” he said, “Wanna let me in? I need to talk to Jotaro.” he said, smiling innocently at the purple stand. Star shook his head, keeping his arms firmly crossed.
“Please, Star?”
“Ora.”
I guess that’s a no, then, Kakyoin deciphered, sighing.
“Look,” he reasoned, “I know you’re just trying to do what’s best for Jotaro, but if you’re this worried about him right now, I think he needs to talk to someone.”
Kakyoin thought he saw a glimmer of doubt in Star’s eyes, so he pressed on.
“I know the only reason you’re doing this is because you can’t get through to him. Just let me talk to him, just for a bit.”
Kakyoin waited, ready to accept loss, but he heard Star Platinum snort in defeat and silently moved himself a bit to the side, letting Kakyoin slip through before the stand resumed its position, blocking everything else out. Kakyoin could still hear the muffled conversation from the protected back of the vehicle, but tuned it out as he sat in one of the three seats, leaving his friend a bit of room.
Jotaro had his arms crossed and his hat pulled in front of his eyes, staring at the ground in silence. Hostility was coming off him in waves, but Kakyoin knew the man would never hurt him on purpose.
“What the hell do you want?” Jotaro snapped quietly, turning his body away from his red-haired friend. Kakyoin shrugged.
“Nothing, really. Just wanted to see if you were okay.”
“Well you can go then because I’m fine,” he growled in reply.
Kakyoin never really had many friends before meeting Jotaro, but he did get good at reading people. He knew when someone was upset, no matter how much they tried to deny it or brush it off.
“Wanna talk about it?” he opted for instead of asking him what was wrong again. Jotaro felt his face heat up and the lump in his throat grow bigger. Why can’t he just fuck off?
“There’s nothing to talk about, so no,” Jotaro snapped back. Kakyoin could hear just a shred of doubt in his voice as he spoke.
Jotaro wasn’t exactly a talkative man. He usually kept to himself and always seemed to be in a pretty grumpy mood. Polnareff often remarked on how Jotaro needed to ‘lighten up’ a bit, let loose more. They had even cracked Avdol’s stuffy personality, but not Jotaro. Never Jotaro. He thought back to when Star popped up and shielded Jotaro from the rest of them. He wondered why the stand had done that in the first place, it only seemed to draw more attention to him. He only acted after-
-After they talked about Holly. Kakyoin wanted to kick himself.
Of course.
“You have a right,” Kakyoin started, causing Jotaro to lift his head up in confusion, “To feel like this, I mean.”
“What are you talking about?” Jotaro snarled. Kakyoin could feel the man building up his walls of anger again.
“Dio is putting your mother’s life in jeopardy. You have every right to be angry...or sad. You’re allowed to worry about her. You’re allowed to miss her. You know that, right?”
He saw Jotaro’s expression soften with surprise, as if he were caught doing something he shouldn’t. Kakyoin waited for the man to say something, but he quickly realized that Jotaro definitely wasn’t going to.
“I never told my parents I was going on this trip, but I wish that I did. I know they’re worried about me, but I really don’t have the courage to tell them. Maybe I’ll tell them when we all come back from this.” he said, filling the air between them.
“I guess I just didn’t want them to freak out if I really told them the truth. But...maybe it would be better if I-”
That seemed to break Jotaro.
“Everyone’s acting like this is normal,” Jotaro snapped. Kakyoin stopped talking, letting his friend finally express himself.
“The old man’s fucking daughter is dying right now and he doesn’t seem to care, does he?” he scoffed, feeling his eyes water “And no one seems to care that we’re on a fucking suicide mission.”
Kakyoin felt himself soften, “Jotaro-”
“-I didn’t even-” he paused, feeling his voice crack, “-I didn’t even tell her that I loved her. I just-- fucking left. I had the chance and I didn’t fucking do it. And now she’s-”
Jotaro growled in irritation as he pulled his hat further over his eyes. Kakyoin expected the man to tell him to fuck off again. He didn’t expect Jotaro to pull towards him and rest his head on his shoulder.
Legs crossed and arms folded over his waist, Jotaro kept his head down and pressed into Kakyoin’s side.
“Jo-”
“-Shut up,” Jotaro breathed out, not trusting his voice to do the talking. Kakyoin just nodded and wrapped an arm around his friend. He could feel Jotaro digging his face further into his shoulder, as if he were too ashamed to show his face to his friend.
"It'll be alright," he said, letting them shift their bodies for Kakyoin to wrap him up in a proper hug. Jotaro buried his face into Kakyoin's chest, his shoulders shaking ever so slightly.
"Just- shut up," Jotaro repeated, his voice cracking this time. Kakyoin sighed and just pulled him closer. As long as Star Platinum was blocking them from everyone else's sights, he knew they weren't going anywhere. The pair sat there in silence, letting the voices of their teammates in the distance drown out the tension between them.
If he heard Jotaro sniffling every so often, he didn’t comment.
