Now all we really need is an item called ‘Tactical Vest’ that gives a 50% boost to difference but allows the use of only status moves. They literally have the blue print with the Assault Best.

Unless this is a matter of balance around the fact that there’s more ways to nerf physical attacks and physical attackers than there are ways to nerf special attacks and special attackers.

What I’m saying is the ROM hackers are right and that ‘Scare’ should exist as Intimidate’s special counterpart.

And we should, in fact, replace FRZ with FROSTBITE. And then maybe make a will-o-wisp equivalent like… ‘chilling glare’ and then rename Galar!Arcticuno’s signature move to something like ‘icy gaze’… or maybe name the move icy gaze idk. What’s the first thing that comes to mind when instachill is mentioned? FLASH FREEZE! Yes. ‘flash freeze’.

And then maybe with those balance changes you could give BRN more move interaction beyond Hex and Sparkling Aria.

And maybe it’s finally time to give us all those type combinations that haven’t been done yet? Fairy/Ground? Ground/Normal? Normal/Steel (yes that one robot from Pokestar Studios but I mean COME ON)? A non-mega Dragon/Fairy? Bug/Dragon (hello flygon)?

Which segues into maybe type-adding OR STAB-giving abilities? Ever thought a pokemon should have three types (FLYGON)? Why not Ground/Dragon with some ability called like… ‘chitin’ that adds the bug type? Or why not give Salazzle that sweet sweet dragon type?

And how about some more balancing changes, huh? Make water and poison be super effective against each other! Give bug more resistances cause bugs are actually quite resilient! Bring back pursuit or give steel its ghost resistance or do both! Give Zamazenta the ACTUAL defensive typing and take away Zacian’s fairy STAB! And you KNOW [almost] all those dual-type mythicals with psychic should have been given Fairy
