Yeah, every time I see someone say they got a purely happy ending I’m kind of baffled because…they really haven’t. Hunter does, he’s able to retire and give Omega the childhood he knows she needs. And Omega, yeah, she has a pretty good coming-of-age age and gets to just be a kid without people coming for her, but the rest of them?

Wrecker? He fits in Pabu great, sure, but is that what he really wants? Echo’s still fighting before the time-skip—when IS it going to be enough? Does he ever get to rest? Is Crosshair, like, okay? He never actually makes the transition out of being a soldier and the last thing he said about himself was that he deserved to die. He spent two thirds of the show implicitly suicidal, made it explicit in the last episode, never takes it back, and then we don’t even see him in the epilogue to know that he’s, you know, functional. Tech?????? Come on. Phee?

With where we’ve currently left things off, if you told me that, say, Crosshair and maybe Wrecker discovered alcohol in the worst way two seconds after we cut away from the present day sequence, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Some notes:

Swing names are generalized based on major events of that time period. For example, Sunshine Double (SD) includes the Central/South American and Middle Eastern Swings.

Three players (namely Ruud, Rublev, and Dimitrov) dropped tournaments. I calculated all points by hand and used the official ranking point totals to work backwards (i.e. if my total is 50 points higher than the official total, then I find the result they achieved that was worth 50 points and nullify that result). In some instances there were multiple tournaments with the same amount of points earned that could have been dropped. In those cases, I nullified the result which contributed less to its respective swing (e.g. subtracted Rome from Ruud's total rather than Shanghai, Paris, or Cincinnati because he earned more points during the clay swing).

sepfember is going more brilliantly than i ever could have hoped. it's been absolutely wonderful seeing people coming together to create things! i've been trying my best to express my joy in the tags of my reblogs, but i'm not sure anything ever could! it's been truly wonderful. i have loved every minute of it so far - writing the prompt drabbles every day, and checking the tag for other people's work to reblog, and sniffing out beautiful art for the queue... a couple of times people have pinged me on the LU discord too, to show me sepfember art, and it entirely melted my heart. and i can't tell if it's coincidence but i'm seeing more sepfember-unrelated/untagged female focused art on my dash too!

in a franchise that caters a great deal to male gamers (and in my own linked universe bubble where all of our main characters are men), my only wish for this event was to balance the scales just a little - create a little bit of brainspace in our minds for the women. show more people who they are and what their names are and what they do! spare a moment to wonder about their goals and motives and characterisation. because they do exist! there are more women in this franchise than even i thought before this event! and i think they're worth celebrating, don't you?

Oh that would be neat and I actually had a similiar thought when I read your first ask! But it’s more like a sort of “private” Tumblr dash? If that makes sense? So there’s not different sections for different convos the way there are channels in a discord server. It seems to be more like a shared dash centered around a specific interest that people in that community can look at separate from their main feed. I think it’s quite cool because I’m a member of a few different sims story communities now and you can sort of “check in” on them one by one? And while I love seeing all of that content on the main dash too, it’s nice to have that space where you know everyone is looking at the same feed and is there for a shared interest too.

It sort of gives a more “sitting around a bonfire together” than just scrolling the main dash, if you catch my vibe! It’s definitely a new feature for me too so I’m just feeling out how exactly it works with all of yall ♥️

What do you make of the idea of Blackspace kinda fusing with Hellmari after a post-good ending Omori gave her true life, therefore making her the entire realm by technicality? Omori would do that cuz he needs something to kinda fill the void that appeared when Sunny left and he's getting desperate after not finding anything in Headspace to do that...

Brain frying at the soft defense of celebrities and rich ppl taking ozempic by saying if we support trans ppl wanting to change their hormones to have a different body why shouldnt we also support fat ppl changing their hunger hormones to have a different body. I. Yes bodily autonomy is good and all but. Idk not the fucking conversation to be having over a drug that ppl are struggling to obtain for a lifelong disease like. I dont think its fearmongering I think there is an actual issue with the idea that a shortage of vital medication coincides with many famous figures discussing their use of it. And weird ppl in the comments hounding diabetics abt there being alts to it like. That wouldnt also cause a shortage bc of the amt of ppl who need to switch which is happening, I looked.

I mean idk nothing wrong w weight loss meds ig but what abt those alternatives. Theres plenty I j hear ozempic works the best so it makes sense that ppl who have money and connections are using it. Idk why ppl assume it would have to be under the counter so it wouldnt affect actual supply. We live in a society u don't think rich ppl can pay to access a medical authority that would provide it regardless of whatever limits there may be?? I'm not trying to be conspiratorial but its frustrating to see ppl actively struggling w this while a surprising amt of ppl wanna argue its. Not happening at all?

Not even mentioning the trans comparison. Ofc issues like EDs and other body disorders and just ur fucking genetics can make it actively v difficult to lose weight but.. that's not the same thing. Like idk might be talking out of my ass but ppl transition bc their body actively feels wrong any other way, and there isnt a national shortage so participating in hrt isnt affecting ppl who need that same thing to not suffer awful potentially life-threatening symptoms abt it. And look ik firsthand similar types of feelings Do arise w weight issues but you'd need a combo of that w therapy anyway. Hrt changes many aspects of the body over time instead of fixing a single issue, prob need therapy j for being trans in a society but. Physical transitioning does help w settling those feelings, like u can change ur hunger hormones yeah but it might not fix the ED in ur brain or other issues that might be the cause if u don't address them so. Obviously nothing against ozempic but. Such a weird argument to make imo the only thing that makes me care so much is this is actively hurting ppl who already struggle w healthcare which is like.
