I've been working on catching up on the event stories since they announced the upcoming main story update! (I totally bombed the last few events...they're so fast-paced and I just didn't have time...😭)

and then of course they went and dropped THIS on us today

Oh to be able to make the complex lore comic that lives in my head about the concept of fairies, anti-fairies, and pixies once being a civilization of one single species of fae that splintered both metaphorically and literally due to internal conflict

#Basic concept: one fae has their good and bad sides split into the fairy and anti fairy #While what remains (ie their more 'grey' traits) are left behind as a third being that's more of a Husk than anything #Pixies are kind of like the Kingdom Hearts nobodies in my head #None of them are directly associated or bonded to any single fairy the way anti-fairies are #They're just sort of a mixed bag of leftovers #Different from Nobodies in that aspect #The conflict that caused the initial split was the decision to stop doing harm to the humans through the planting of changelings #Which eventually evolved into a debate over how they treated humans in general #All desires to help and care for the human race was separated into fairies #While all desires to do harm was divided into antifairies #And then the left over unrelated stuff (like not caring about the humans either way and only being self interested instead) became the pixie #Unfortunately for everyone involved the split caused a severe decrease in magical abilities for all sides #Since it was really just one magic that was split into thirds #Having children was also banned at this point because there was no way of knowing if the children would be of one side #Or if they would be the original unsplit species #And there was concern this would cause conflict #I also like to think the heads of each faction erased the populations memories of their origins eventually #If only to make it easier to dehumanize the other factions and elevate themselves by erasing any associations with them #There are still some fae who exist who either were part of the split but escaped before they had their memories wiped #Or were never affected by the split and therefore still exist as the original form of fae #With all three 'types' of magic under their control #ANYWAY #fop a new wish #Fop #fopanw #fairly oddparents #fairly oddparents a new wish #A new wish

okay when i started rewatching house, it took me until 3x15 but i started to notice a pattern in house's wardrobe. the scene where foreman was trying to express sadness(?) at house's (fake) brain cancer they were both wearing pink.

After that I noticed that any time house was wearing pink, they were particularly vulnerable moments. Moments that he's feeling tender or open. Moments where he is being pretty earnest.

Then I started to notice that other colored shirts came up at different times. Light blue was his most neutral state, it represents logic and reason imo. Maybe a little bit of humor. There's a lightness or surface-ness to it.

Purple represents something like consequences or grief or guilt. any time there is purple someone is bearing the weight of a decision that was made, or a complex situation.

Black represents, as you can imagine, death. the darkest moments we see house in black.

The other colors aren't as prominent, but I have theories. Red is sex, power, life, excitement, ego. tan is neutrality. white is almost naive. green is rare and house never wears it. Dark blue is still logic but more solemn, more deep. its also interesting to note the times when he doesn't wear a t-shirt under his dress shirt and leaves like 3 buttons open (hubba hubba) and when he /only/ wears a t-shirt. I think his dress shirt is almost like his armor.

#theres a lot more that i could say symbollically about wardrobe #and about the fellows too.#i think its facinating that the scrubs are pink and green #and that its never clear at least to me what the difference is #i would like to pay more attention next rewatch bc i missed 2.5 whole seasons of data #also maybe i will eventually do a master post about this and like compile pics and stuff #also! this scene is really interesting and i could talk at length about it #all ill say is #This scene is particularly interesting because foreman tries to do what cameron and chase did #but gave up bc of houses needling.#house is playing the piano and recieving news that his patients brain only half works #foreman just tells him about the case #and i think to house thats actually the sweetest(?) thing he could do #hes not lying #hes helping house by giving his mind something to work on #which if he did actually have brain cancer is prob what he would want #i think this is as much love he could bear to receive #okay anyway i love foreman!!!!!!!#house md #malpractice md #eric foreman #gregory house #house

Day 3 on the godot dungeon crawler:

Not much was done today.

What I said yesterday was mostly true and the majority of the day was spent working on Zenith. I did get a sweet and simple map working, though. I started laying out the skeleton for combat but not much was done.

《 Hold on- this isn't Skyline speedway!? Where's all the zero gravity racers? Looks like little scribbles has found herself signed up for a different kind of competition! 》

《 Glitch in the system or not- looks like this little mouse is in for a new kind of race. 》

《 Once a professional Airboard rider is now forced to enter a car race- she's had an interesting time adjusting to the change of equipment and rules. Caine was most scared she'd end up hurting herself- so he opted with giving her A Go Kart till she can get herself a proper racing vehicle. She did not enjoy her first race. 》

《 Needless to say- Her second race was certainly something when she pulled up in her little DIY vehicle. Color the other racers impressed. And a little afraid of what she's capable of..》

《 Ultimately- Against his better judgement- Caine just let her keep her board. Mostly to keep the little mechanical genius out of the workshop less she create something a bit more.. ambitious. She seems happy.

So, Talkative or not, this smart little inventor was definitely a lively addition to the racing roster. Who knows what kind of trouble this little powerhouse will get into this season?

Either way, it'll be quite the spectacle to see! 》

This is based off of an audio clip from Silent Hill, a game I sadly have not gotten to play yet :(, but I saw someone else’s animation of the clip and got really inspired by it. Idk if I’ll ever actually animate this scene or anything, but it got me to draw Hector and Julia so it was worth it lol
