Okay before I go do my dishes (per the tags in my last reblog) first I’m going to tell you about a three-ingredient thing that is very simple to make and is saving my life right now because (insert here: incoherent rage about surgeons, the medical establishment, and gatekeeping that I’m not going to detail but the tl;dr is that in order to get something internal fixed I’ve been prescribed my old eating disorder 🙃) I am a human being who values flavor and texture but is being severely medically restricted for the foreseeable future, anyway—

Ingredients: one 4-serving package of zero sugar jello (I have tried lime, orange, lemon, raspberry, and strawberry and they’re all good); one 8oz block of cream cheese, and a tub of zero sugar cool whip (thawed)

Instructions: make the jello according to package instructions but with half a cup of boiling water, put aside (don’t refrigerate). Microwave the cream cheese for 15 seconds to bring it up to room temp (otherwise just bring it up to room temp, I do this b/c I will accidentally leave the cream cheese out too long otherwise). I use an electric beater to whip it smooth but since the jello will still be warm it shouldn’t be too hard to mix it up with a fork if you don’t have beaters. Oh yeah, add the jello and mix/beat. Once those two things are combined and smooth then fold in the thawed cool whip until it’s combined (I’ll start with half the cool whip and then add in the rest).

Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. It will have a cheesecakey texture and is actually pretty tasty provided you’re already used to artificial sweetener, which I am (mother had diabetes so she trained me in the ways of Equal/Splenda, diet soda, and other aspartame bullshit. Also guess what, THAT DIDN’T HELP)

Oh no I just did the recipe blogger thing without meaning to do the recipe blogger thing

Anyway it’s a nice treat and it’s helping sustain my will to live between protein shakes and weighing out meat and vegetables!

“oh my god i’m so extremely excited this is my dream come true and i’ve worked so hard and i’m finally here so ya”

lara got out of her seat and walked back to her new alphine pr team

“lara we have a group interview with all the grid in about 10 mins”

“okay cool one sec”

she said as she picked up the phone to call her best friend,linda.linda’s been there since lara first started karting at the very late age of 14.

“brooo hiii how did it goo” said linda the moment she picked up

“i didn’t even do it yet” said lara with a slight laugh

“oh you got my hopes up,thought you’d call me with good news”

“bro i’m just shit nervous”

“don’t be your the most strong willed one on the grid so you’ll be okay”

“thanks bro,oh shit okay i gotta go but i’ll call you after, byeeeeeee”

“yes okay byeeeeee”

they closed and lara rushed back to the team so they could get there in time

the moment she walked in all eyes were on her,she felt so worried but knew that she had to keep her head up.

she was placed to sit in between leclerc and ricciardo,she had been a big fan of daniel ever since she was a teen.

“hi i’m daniel” “and i’m charles”

“hii ya i know who you guys are” she felt her cheeks flush, “i’m lara”

“where are u from lara” says the older one with a smile

“egypt”

“oh wow that’s really cool” said charles

“ya thank you” she said

“guys let’s start ya?” said the interviewer

“so welcome back to the 2022 session”

“we have a few new faces on the paddock but the one that stands out the most is miss lara,hi welcome to your first f1 session how are u feeling?”she said with a bright smile

“hi hi hi um im so excited to be here and i’m so ready to crush everyone”she said with the biggest smile”sorry y’all but uh anyways ya i’m so excited and truly am so grateful for this chance to be here with the big dogs”

“so lara your not only the first female f1 racer but also first arab f1 racer how do you feel about that?”

“i ofc feel like so like omg i can’t even explain it”she said as she smiled even more “i feel like one i accomplished something no one before me could and two i’m so happy that someone finally did so it opens doors to the others like me to accomplish this dream”

“we’ll the rest of the drivers how do you feel about a female being on the grid this session?”

vettel the first to speak says “i’m so happy for her and truly feel like this is a great opportunity to all other females to keep on trying” he said as he looked at her with an approving grin

next came lewis “i feel like it should’ve happened sooner, but as they say sooner better than later”he said with a smile

esteban says shortly after “i’m so very excited to have her as a team mate she is a huge talent in the sport and i’m excited to see what comes from our friendship” he says as you both start laughing

“i also wanna say that i watched someoof her races when i first heard the news and i feel like we’re all up for a big challenge since she’s such an amazing and talented driver”she looked over her shoulder to see that the words came out the famous honey badger, she smiled and thanked them all and they all smiled yet daniels smile caught her eye and made her heart flush.

the interviewer asked the rest of the grip some questions and finally said “well that’s all thank you all and good luck”

they all got out of there seats, lara started to walk away when a young british boy came up to her

“hi i’m lando, so i wanted to tell you were having a start of the session party tonight and we all want you to come”

“oh thank you i’d love to come lando”she said nicely

“great! here’s the address come at uhhhhh hmmm oh right 8 and wear your party attire” lara and lando both laughing at how forgetful he is

“i will don’t worry” she said as she walked away

that went surprisingly well, she thought as she continued to walk

HALP AT THE END OF THIS MONTH I MIGHT HEAR ABOUT GETTING A SHOW!

I’ve been trying not to think about it. But now I can’t not think about it. Aaaaaaa!

I could very well hear I’m not getting a show? Or hear radio silence? (Idk how they say “you don’t get it”) These possibilities are very forefront in my mind too. Pessimism go brrr. But not in a bad way, I just wanna be ready not trying to say it’ll fail. I think it’s a very good idea, I just know how this business goes, so if I don’t get it? Yeah, that’s fair.

BUT IF I DO?! GOOD GOSH I THINK THIS IS THE MOST OPTIMISTIC IVE BEEN IN YEARS/MAYBE MY LIFE!

i’m just over here trying to figure out how to turn ANY of the dean/cas stuff from 5.18 into quippy tumblr post material, but i don’t know????? what to do???????

like, cas was so broken but also they were so bonded in the episode before, where dean gave him the painkillers and they were all “our dads suck, life is soul-sucking and we have drudged through it like dutiful sons but WHAT NOW that we are without fathers?, we are same”, and THEN dean goes to lisa like “i can never have this life with you because it runs counter to everything that i am, but if i could have that life and turn my back on everything, i would want it to be with you and your kid,” and i KNOW that cas didn’t actually witness this, but my brain’s all loopy over, like, that being where his soul has lived re: dean almost since he arrived on the scene, except he actually has been doing something about it, and it has torn his guts out

AND FOR WHAT? BECAUSE DEAN HAS GIVEN UP IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE ANGELS AND WANTS TO AGREE TO BE THE VESSEL NOW! AND LOSS OF FAITH IN GOD IS ONE (PSYCHE-CRUSHING) THING, BUT IN DEAN?

and then dean is like, “i know how to handle cas being super frigging furious at me for committing what he sees as this massive betrayal. relentless sexual innuendos and aggressive flirting!” (dean. WHY! from whence comes this???)

and then this feels like it strangely culminates in cas sexily beating dean up with all possible angelic wrath in a dark alley

and then i’m like, “why am i so hopped up on this scene? that’s not very morally responsible of me! get some HONOR, dollsome! ship with VIRTUE!” (but like, the brontes are like 97% of my personality, so. sidenote: the brontes would go HARD for destiel. god. can you imagine charlotte bronte’s 300k destiel fanfic????? someone resurrect charlotte bronte!)

and then while i was contemplating cas pinning dean against a wall and snarling about how he gave up everything for him 

john donne’s “batter my heart, three person’d god” sonnet jumped right into m’psyche

and then it was all jenny slate screaming, no hope of saving me, no hope of coherence

and then they were, like, weirdly okay about it and just on w/ business as usual considering how absolutely UNHINGED that interaction was, and then cas is like “guess what, asshole: [taylor swift breakup song.mp3], gonna go fight a handful of angels and probably die now, but at least that means i don’t have to witness however YOU’RE gonna screw this up! byeeeeeee!”

╰☆╮ KATHERINE MCNAMARA ─ ROSALIND COX identifies as GENDERFLUID and uses THEY/SHE pronouns. they’re a SINGER & ACTOR, and they’re only TWENTY-TWO ! they’re said to be +GREGARIOUS, but also -CAPRICIOUS. i guess that’s why they’re known as THE FALLEN STAR in the tabloids. ( hilary duff, bridgit mendler, & ana golja )

ok so like first things first rosalind is named after rosalind in shakespeare’s as you like it.  which is.... interesting.  considering in the play rosalind dresses as a man for a good portion of the play and my rosalind is genderfluid 

b a c k g r o u n d -- 

rosalind was discovered when they were two years old.  their mom, laurel, is an executive producer of films and made for tv movies.  and she had her daughter on set one day which led to rosalind playing the character of “baby girl #4″ in a lifetime original movie.  

when rosalind was nine she got cast as the lead role in disney channel’s lizzie mcguire.  

it was such a dream, her mother was the executive producer for all three seasons.  

rosalind was very bubbly and happy.  rosalind loved doing interviews and everything too, meeting fans and such was her favorite part of the job.  

however, when she was eleven rosalind went through a period of discovery, which just so happened to be during the filming of the final season of lizzie.  

after looking into things and reading, rosalind felt more kin to using “they/them” pronouns instead of she/her.  it was like she read about genderfluidity and non-binary people and it set something off in her brain.  

like this is it.  that’s what i am. 

rosalind told her family ( their mother and grandfather, their dad died before she was born ) when they decided to start using the pronouns they preferred more.  

it took a while for their mother to be able to get their pronouns right, but laurel understood ( or tried to, but she’s completely understanding now )

of course, rosalind knew this would not be good for the show.  it would be hard for people to understand, especially executives of the show and the channel.  

but she didn’t want to not tell people

so she came out on set, telling their friends to use they/them pronouns.  

fortunately, the third and final season of lizzie was a success.   which prompted the network to pitch a full fledged film for theatrical release.  

unfortunately, while they were filming in italy rosalind’s gender identity became news in the states.  someone from set had spilled the beans and from there it spiraled.  

of course, the company did what they do best and decided that after the movie, rosalind should go on tour for their music.  ( which hadn’t even been released yet, so her first album was released pre-lizzie movie in order for the tour to happen after ).  

and rosalind was happy.  they were doing what they loved, writing music, acting, and singing.  

of course, going on a big tour meant rules and guidelines from the corporation.  

a lot of them restricting what rosalind could say and talk about in interviews, which they had never done before.  but now rosalind was restricted.  

rosalind was playing shows so much and doing press for the movie that they were stressed out.  it caused a lot of work and very little down time for the child nearing high school age.  

rosalind’s only problem with the tour was that everyone was using she/her pronouns and completely ignoring the fact they’d even stated a preference for using they/them.  it led to them having a bit of a .... meltdown during an interview when they were asked a pretty terrible question

it was something about going through a “phase” and using “weird pronouns” and they basically ended the interview by running out and leaving.  

the next thing they knew, the second half of the tour was cancelled and they were “let go” from the company.  

rosalind went about going to a regular high school for a while, moving back home to boston and living with their grandfather.  their mother was still out in los angeles overseeing movies and everything for her job.  

of course, their grandfather was doing his best.  he set rosie ( his nickname for her ) up with an after school job at his shop. their grandfather owns a thrift shop/antique store.  basically its kind of an all around you can find anything there shop.  

rosiland loved it.  every day after school ended they would take the bus and go to the shop and help their grandfather sort through things and listen to old vinyls.  

when they turned seventeen during their final year in high school, rosalind’s mother introduced her to a director who was working on a script for a hallmark original movie.  he thought rosalind would be perfect for the lead role.  

they’ve been acting in some tv movies since then, but their main focus lately has been writing a full album.  

rosalind also runs a youtube channel, mostly daily vlogs ( which turn into every other day postings ) and lots of music covers.  

p e r s o n a l i t y -- 

rosalind is a v kind person.  

they’re a people person, loving to be around other people.  but she’s always a bit nervous about big crowds.  

they like to help people and work with others to make things happen.  

they can also be capricious, though.
