Kim carlsson was a great singer people loved him and appreciated his work, so why the fuck was his life so full of shit? He had a beautiful boyfriend who was also a good singer but not as know as Kim.

He felt like he was losing him. They were dating since 4 years now, they planned on getting married and stay together forever. At least thats what they told each other when they first fell started dating. But Kim felt like it was fading away. Like Alex didn’t love him anymore and that everything was fake now. He knew that he was sick of kim’s suicidal shit at some point of them dating.

Kim turned to the other side of the bed to see his boyfriend already asleep. He was out all day working. Guess he didn’t want to see Kim at all for the day. Like the usual. Thats what he thought. They didn’t hold an average conversation since days. They also couldn’t talk normally without arguing or cursing against each other.

Kim lay still and then a bit later carefully getting up from the bed carefully trying to not wake Alex up. But he woke up anyways. Now Kim wasn’t the type to go through Someones privacy without asking for their consent, but something was telling him that he should read the texts. As he slowly went to grab alex’s phone from the nightstand he was flushed with a feeling of pain in his wrist. He completely forgot that he had cut himself last night. He dropped Alex’s phone on the floor.

“Shit!..” Kim whined as he grabbed his arm standing up from the bed. Then the bathroom door opened but Kim couldn’t even look at Alex right now. He stared at the floor but he felt Alex slowly approach him and immediately grabbing his wrist hard. But not that hard. Deep down he couldn’t hurt Kim like that. He still loved him to do that.

Kim didn’t react. He couldn’t react anymore. But he slowly looked at him a little. He was too ashamed to look at his boyfriend fully. Alex already stared at Kim. But then Alex slowly moved his eyes to Kims sleeve.

“I know that you did it last night. Im not dumb, Kim.”

“I don’t think that you’re dumb, Alex..”

“Then why the fuck would you cut yourself again? Remember your promise? You said you would try to sober your shit up for me and now l look at you. Breaking your so called promise again and not even hiding it this time.”

Instead he felt like tearing up. He didn’t want to but he did anyways without controlling it. Without any reaction. And all that Alex did was stare at him but not for long. Because Alex then let go of him to leave their bedroom with a somewhat concerned but also a disappointed look. Kim couldn’t quite figure it out. His vision was blurred out.

Kim sat down on the floor. What the fuck did he get himself into? Why was he like this? was this whole this toxic shit his fault? Maybe Alex would be happier if he wasn’t in his life anymore. Maybe he ruined not only himself but also the person who he loved the most.

But then he started thinking again. How they would hold each other. Laugh together. And say that they were meant to be hoping that somehow they are soulmates in different lives. The first time they got intimate and it’s cringe to say but it was best ever too.

After a little more of crying Kim finally got himself together and stood up. He was going to leave their bedroom as well but then he spotted Alex’s phone on the ground again. This time he carefully picked it up. Sitting down on the bed looking nervously at the bedroom door.

He easily unlocked his phone. Since his password was quick to remember because it was just Kims birthday. Alex made it Kims birthday because he thought it would be sweet. It very much was. He still loves it and appreciates it. Kim doesn’t use his phone anymore tho. In fact he doesn’t even know where he put it or when he last used it. His phone was old and slow so why would he even need it? He quit social media ever since his bands fame went down 4 years ago because one of their band members tragically died. Kim is still upset about it.

The phone buzzed again. It was a message from a guy called ‘Tim’. Who the fuck was Tim? Kim never heard of him. He also didn’t know any of Alex’s friends called tim. He sighed he really didn’t want to do this but his overthinking won once again so Kim quickly clicked on the messages.

Tim: So are you available to go out again? Last time was so good you really didn’t lie about being funny and complaining

I think if we're gonna have MC as an OG but not want her to be with coupled with someone good right away (bc branching despite the genre of game,,,, idk what fusebox's problem is but sure) I'd rather not mess with the love island format. There is precedent for a get to know you challenge to happen before the initial coupling, so that's not my problem but i think instead go back to the coupling up on first sight thing and just have it that Esme does not immediately vibe with Jace. she describes her type to the girls in the beginning and Jace is not it anyway. Jace picks MC last (yeah annoying i know im sorry its repetitive but at least Zabrina didnt steal a guy from MC and at this point in time theres no reason to dislike Jace) and the other boys get shuffled around to the other girls. But then the first challenge happens pretty much immediately and I think Jace gets put off of MC but he and Esme get along really well. And after the challenge he clearly isn't trying with MC anymore and she gets a chance to be upset or ambivalent about it bc it was literally within a few hours of first meeting and being coupled (think like Miles/Jasper S1).

And then literally everything else can still happen. MC is effectively single and free to talk to the other boys bc it's day 1 so none of them are married off yet (and no one jealous with Zabrina playing the field like MC, Esme with the only nonromancable guy, Ruby lukewarm on all the guys)

and if they did this i wouldn't mind as much that theyd need to vote someone dumped before introducing a bombshell to keep everyone on their toes. bc without the coupling thing it just makes it so painfully obvious they're keeping mc single as long as possible like last season. if we want to stay strict to the love island format though, then whoever the next bombshell is can still show up and shake up couples before MC gets to pick the guy she actually wants.

Tbh, the other day I finished reading all of Answer so far within a few hours (gotta take breaks and interruptions are inevitable).

If you told me that Answer!Yeosang doesn’t really know most of what’s actually going on, that he just somehow became a bigwig after being complicit (because he has a job he’s happy with and friends and people leave him alone) and not actually understanding the codes or anything that’s underlying, I would believe you. If you told me everyone was guilty and has done something wrong >except for Yeosang, I would believe it. He could absolutely blend into the crowd without getting into trouble and outsiders could think him a member of the insiders team without him actually understanding what they have been doing.

I just imagine him having pretended to read the dumb book and just ‘yes and’-ing his way to the top and no one would think anything of him otherwise, because “Look, mom! I can use my degree for something! I have a stable job and a place to live! I’m a farmer! And there’s a community! And yeah we do some weird things and I don’t understand them but don’t all cultures have some stuff people can’t really explain? It’s all in good fun and as long as no one gets hurt we’re all good!”

With how little we know of him, I am almost convinced he has done nothing wrong and honestly, I genuinely hope it’s the case and he’s just totally oblivious. That would be such a good plot point 😂

Like the leader didn’t do anything to him when he believed they had already done it, he just interrogated him about it. He didn’t seem to mind it in the end, though I do not get wanting to watch. But if it causes rifts between the two boys then that could be a very good thing for the rebellion!

HELPPP ok

first impression: ok i got into comics right around the time tim came out so my first impression was very much the general publics of "robin has a boyfriend!" i read the urban legends story about that first and thought it was fine! i liked it well enough. then bc it mentioned that bernard was a friend was high school i went back and read his original appearences and idk i just loved him... he was silly and he was posturing and nobody really liked him except tim LOL. his friendship and crush on darla was also rlly rlly sweet and i got rlly attached to the trio of them. i also rlly liked his og design w the longer hair and sunglasses. i thought the conspiracy theorist thing was rlly fun esp w how close hed get to the truth and tim would have to be like "what ur so crazy hahaha where would batman get MULTIPLE robins".

impression now: im gonna be honest my peak bernard phase was before tim drake robin started when i was really really excited to see more of this character id gotten attached to... erm. in a post tdr world ive kind of distanced myself from him bc he feels like an entirely different guy. which is fine! presumably hes aged and i wouldnt want to live like my high school self forever. that being said, the ways that he is the same feel a bit like a parody now. his conspiracies r way more outlandish and supernaturally based than they used to be, and they way theyve kind of written it so seems like he knew he was gay/bi back in highschool which doesnt rlly read as true to me having read those highschool appearances. hes just tims boyfriend, who knew he was gay before tim did and was just kind of waiting for him, i guess. i do like the chaos cult, i like that in the unspecified time away from tim his life was like. completely fucked. but now that tim is there it feels like hes just been flattened back out. the last few issues of tdr actually started focusing more on his issues specifically w his parents and the cult but. you know. cancelled.

favorite moment: he was so so scared to talk to darla he was like "losers like us cant talk to cool girls like her tim... shes friends with jocks" and then tim goes up to her and the jocks are all nice and polite normal guys and darlas like yeah u guys seem fun. and its just like. he was completely overreacting. like so much for his claims of being a social chameleon 😭 and then next issue darlas just a part of their group and theyre acting like theyve been best friends forever. i think for as much as he pretends to be like. a cool guy who doesnt care that he has no friends. its a rlly nice moment of showing that hes actually really anxious and self conscious and he wishes he could reach out to people but once he has the opportunity he latches on to ppl and doesnt let go. and i also rlly like when darla comes back and he finds out she has powers and his first reaction is like. my life sucks so bad can i come and be ur sidekick. like man:-( he was funny for it though! shoot ur shot

idea for a story: ok this is for a hypothetical "possible in comics" story and not like. a fic. so its not super bernard focused BUT they need to bring darla back now im not joking anymore where is she. idk what the status of shadowpact is post rebirth i dont think it exists anymore? but whatever. tim gets a case that leads him back to louis grieve where we can get a recap for ppl who didnt read or dont remember what happened back then. he can be like heres where i met bernard^_^ also the horrors. anyway the case has smth to do w the mob&darlas family and so he manages to get in contact w her and obviously shes like. i have no connection to that life anymore im not helping and i dont want to remember this. but reluctant team up👍 anyway bernard plays into this bc i think tim keeps it from him whats going on in the case bc he doesnt know that bernard was actually the first to know when darla came back and he doesnt want to upset him by bringing up old memories bc they Never talk about the shooting. and laura obviously isnt telling bernard bc she has no idea he and tim r dating so hes kept completely out of the loop and tim and darla/laura r NOT getting along. he keeps calling her darla and hes whinier than she remembers and theyre getting nowhere in the case bc they dont work very well together. i would also rlly want an issue where it goes over how each of them experienced the day of the shooting and there r small differences in each one to highlight how time has warped their memories and how theyre all a little unreliable. and each of them would be done by different artists 👍 anyway eventually bernard stumbles upon the case and hes pissed off at tim for keeping from him "darla was my friend too" you know. and smth he remembers about that day but the others dont (too caught up in the gang war/being robin) helps solve the case^_^ and hes able to help tim and laura get along again and they part on good terms w bernard and laura staying in touch. and at some point while he and tim r fighting he confronts tim for fucking off after the shooting and not reaching out to bernard until years later, and how bernard was completely left alone after one his best friends died and the other immediately moved away.

unpopular opinion: whyyyy does he want to be a chef its stupid sorry. emt or nurse bernard is the most important thing in the world to me i have no idea why they chose "chef" for his career path but it annoys me to no end. its another thing that just feels flat about his new character. like even if instead of being motivated by his history with unable to save darla from the shooting+the cult he was scared of wounds and violence and avoided it... why chef? idk itd be fun if he wanted to be like a radio host or smth that actually fit his personality. i think money should also be a bigger motivater for him bc he always read as like. upper middle class new money to me whos parents cut him off when he came out. like maybe if they showed him working as a line cook or an actual job i could understand him growing a passion for it but hes just like. a rich foodie. like what.

favorite relationship: he and tim i guess LOL who else does he have. him and darla for friendship and also i think it wouldve been cute if they had dated for a bit in highschool<3

favorite headcanon: i think he should be angrier at tim. for missing dates, for not telling him hes robin, for everything. hes too nice. or if theyre set on the nice thing i think it should be framed as him being a bit of a people pleaser/pushover post cult bc hes scared of tim leaving him and either way tim should have to address being kind of a shitty boyfriend. a nicer one is i think duke would be his favorite of tims siblings:-) hes not weird to bernard like i think the others would kind of be (shovel talk from dick would make me kms) and bernard never had any siblings so he kind of treats duke like a younger brother and tries to like, help duke with his homework, despite the fact that duke is definitely doing better in school than bernard did. i dont know if duke like. likes bernard but hell actually respond to his attempts at bonding unlike damian who has him blocked.

Ah gee I went to see hozier yesterday and yeah I enjoyed it the music was good but I had such a strange experience right first off this lady pulled me out the queue and put me to the front im used to this part happening and I'm usually kinda glad like yes that’s the one single disability perk right, queue jumping

but also this lady was making me hold her hand which was a bit much like you dont need to do that I can walk but yeah my disability is noticeable i guess and people think theyre doing good but anyway she let me go in ahead and yeah that was great but then I guess she was telling the whole staff about me or something because like literally every other ten minutes some new staff member would corner me ask if I was okay or why I was alone or if was I lost or if I needed help I would say I'm okay not lost im by myself I can manage but then some other person would come later and ask me again if i was okay and if I wanted help and Its like again??

eventually they moved me to the raised platform which is not what i booked ok but fine it is a better view there from thanks but I dont see why people felt the need to be checking me so much i wasnt drunk i wasnt injured i wasn't upset i was not doing anything out of the ordinary nothing that anybody else wasn't also or less even i mean there were very drunk people there and they weren't being asked if they were okay

Yeah maybe but you know it was going on so often it made me feel self conscious like clearly I was coming off as not normal and /or vulnerable somehow or maybe they didnt believe i was as old as i said i was or idk but i didn't ask for help and didn't really need it either I just wanted to have fun listen to music relax be a regular person like everybody else there

so anyway thats not even the end of it because next I take the train back and get off my stop someone in the train gets off to ask I'm okay and if I know where to go like yes I'm going home then as I go up the hill this lady is following me annnd then she asks im okay and if i need help as well!

Ah good okay listen. I’m actually an annoying person like talkative clingy (not touchy) , weird and stuff. So I get that I’m only likable for a week but I don’t care cuz I don’t rly wanna change believing I’ll find someone for me. So the 1st year in college I met a girl and we became close , we have a great harmony and all. We kinda felt right (friends I mean) but this year one day I felt she was upset and annoyed so I asked her and she said that I’m annoying and talk a lot of stupid things embarrassing her and that I’m fake and pretend to be someone I am not ( was harsh and rude but I’m the one who asked so) I like her so I controlled myself stopping her here and well there was another thing annoying her that was fine and we solved it and moved on. It’s been couple of months but I am really annoyed and realized I am the only one who was looking at her as a close friend. Anyway she’s kinda mean and hate ppl which scared them away so ending it with her now is stupid but I am really annoyed. Should I just end it with her? Staying alone or not doesn’t matter cuz I am good at making friends but Ik I have to cover90% of who I am cuz I’m too much for ppl which I won’t do and the chances of me finding someone can handle me r less than 0.5% believe me. I have fun with her and comfortable but saying I’m fake and embarrassing was sth she thinks of often cuz she’s not the type to just throw words out so Ik she still think this.

I don’t think you should associate being talkative or affectionate with being annoying. This is going to sound so cheesy but treat yourself kindly, like you would a friend. People have different ways to express themselves so you talking a lot or being clingy isn’t something that any of your friends should be too bothered by in the first place. I really hope you find someone more accepting of you. Im sure you are wonderful to be around.

What she said to you isn’t something someone that even slightly cares for you would.

Losing who you thought was a good friend is bound to hurt whether you distance your self now or further down the line once you have grown tired of their behavior. Because in all honesty friendships like these are going to grow toxic sooner or later. Sometimes you have to take things at face value and not look for reasons that justify what or why they did what they did. So if after months of contemplation you think it is best to cut her off i’d say do what feels right. You really will find better people to be around.
