the best you could get is a passive listener. worse you can get is a passive listener who still plays games. the worst you can get is that one scene where isagi has a legitimate concern and gets his hair pulled by this guy. another one who is better to have as a company in seeking distraction for the time than anything. but, despite how admittedly terrible he is in cheering you up with words, he truly makes it up by action when it finally hits him how down and different you are. it will take a few hours or a few days, but he will get there. afterward, expect many small sweet gestures ranging from cute gifts, your favorite snacks, et cetera. your chatroom with him will too suddenly get noisy with many cute stickers and “u ok? :x” for at least a few weeks. (also he is shameless enough to ask out loud to his teammates about what should he do with you when he realizes how stuck he is. so hey. there is that: possible extra brains if you need a solution.)

Soooo holy shit it’s over LMAO

honestly I wish things had gone differently with this fic. As any author, I have my regrets with this fic. I wish I hadn’t made it this long and I wish some chapters weren’t as boring as they ended up being, but it’s a project I’m 100% proud of – I think this might be fic I’m most fond of and it will forever be my favorite in terms of what I’ve written. I fixed a lot of my pacing issues and I learned a lot!! It was an experience like none other that made me see both flaws and virtues in my writing, and I had a blast WRITING IT LMAO

The fic was supposed to finish in march but I had to push the update rates a little further because of studies and health issues that came up with the COVID-19 spread (thankfully I didn’t have anything but I had to push dates and things around a lot). 

Tho I also might post smut so technically I’m not done but AHEM

The fic also taught me a lot about I suppose expectations? I had envisioned this fic being a different experience than what it ended up being, but it’s taught me to not have expectations about anything and have faith in what you write. I’m very happy with the result, and I’m extremely thankful to those who have read until the end, it really takes a LOT lmao

I have projects I’m working on as I speak! I have the SOS AU in the makings and I’m planning another AU, similar in genre to 400cq but very different!! I hope I can fix the mistakes I made in this fic and not repeat them ever again <3
