After finally catching up on Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Chat Noir, here are (some of) my thoughts:

Wow, the writers' need to put Adrien/CN through the wringer for no reason continues, huh?

Marinette should absolutely NOT be lying to Adrien, but I understand why she's doing it. Still not happy abt it tho.

Marinette should not have made everyone in the team a permanent holder. This is purely a selfish opinion bc I just enjoy the show much, much more when it's LB and CN against the world.

What's with making Alya the next guardian without even the thought of discussing it with CN?????

Adrienette have officially taken over MariChat as my favorite love square ship. They're just TOO ADORABLE!!!

The new animation is good! My only complaint, much like everyone else, is Adrien. I hope that what I heard about Astruc's reasoning behind his design are the truth (which, from what I understand, are essentially that he didn't get new clothes "for a reason" and his hair is flat bc he's depressed) and that it'll change later on. But anyway, they're supposed to be older, yet Adrien got more baby fat? Make it make sense?! I do like Chat's new look though... for the most part...

Is it just me or is Adrien less of a main character in s6 than he ever has been before? Idk, obv Werepapas had a good amount of Adrien-focus but something just feels different. I feel like we barely saw him in the other eps...

Gabriel might actually be the worst fictional father ever. Okay that's probably not true... but he's gotta be up there!

I don't like that we got introduced to these "anti-kumas" so early on after gaining the ability of being able to use their powers an unlimited amount. And how CN's been the only one hit so far...

On the same topic, I don't like that ALL the heroes have unlimited use of their powers. I thought we'd have at least one thing that made our 2 main heroes more powerful but I guess not.

I also don't like CN being treated as just another teammate so far. Obv there's not much to go off of yet, but I just feel like there's nothing LB's done that separates him from the rest of the team despite their supposed relationship as partners. Kinda a let down, esp when remembering their scene at the end of the London special. "Like old times" my butt.

Olga can see the truth

Hey guys! Back with another salt fic request made by UnknownDrew over on AO3! So happy to write this so I hope you all enjoy it in the end like I loved writing it!

Anyways enjoy the fic!

Olga has worked with children long enough to know that when something doesn’t sound right… look it up online to see if it’s true… and Lila Rossi was a walking lie in her opinion. It didn’t matter what it was about, she has to lie about herself no matter what which is why she has given Lila detention each time she lied or made an excuse for not doing the work she was assigned.

It caused the girl to always be quiet in her class… but the second she left the classroom she would go back to lying about herself… and that’s when she noticed that something was happening to people when Lila lied about something.

Marinette would avoid any place at school where Lila could be heard. During lunchbreak or when school ended, she noticed how she looked depressed while quickly heading home… which made her worry greatly for the girl… then came Adrien Agreste. If he was with his friends, he was happy and with a smile on his face… but the second Lila came over he would either keep away from her, ignore her or excuse himself and leave the group… which would upset Lila greatly.

But it was clear that both of them didn’t like Lila and she was hurting them with her lies… with this all noted, she decided to inform Caline to see what she had planned to stop all of this… but she was shocked by her words “Olga… I think you work too much as your making all of this up about my class. Nothing is wrong with any of my students” she said before walking away.

She tried to make her see things her way but Caline simply sighed “If anything… I think you should have Marinette in your class… that girl has been causing problems in the class by refusing for them to all be friends… especially with Lila” with that said she left to get to her classroom.

This shocked Olga… Caline was blinded by her own beliefs to not see how terrible her class was the longer Lila was there lying to her students. She had noticed that the class was bullying Marinette and ended their friendship with her because of things Lila said to them while crying crocodile tears to them… disgusted by this, Olga decided to do things herself about Caline’s class and she was going to make sure things changed for the better.

Which is why she stormed into Damocles’ office which startled him with a glare “For far too long you have pampered Caline into believing she can do no wrong and how her students are perfect. But it ends now! You will give me the power to punish her and her students as she should have done or I will get the proper authorities involved to investigate her, the class and you!” she demanded making the man tremble as he went pale from her words… but he agreed and wrote her a note to give to Caline so she knows that she has no say in what Olga decides for the class in the end.

She nods back to him after taking the note and went to her classroom to get started on her plan, it was going to happen and Caline won’t be able to protect her students from being punished in the end… but she hoped it would give them a wake-up call that they needed from the start.

The very next day, she storms into the classroom before Caline could start the lesson “Olga? What are you doing here?” Caline asked in great surprise. Olga gives her the note and she goes pale after reading it “And if you have a problem, you can go speak to him” she said, this angered Caline but she left the classroom to probably try to speak to Damocles about this.

Then Caline looked them over “When I call your name you stand” she said making them look at her confused “Alya Cesaire, Kim Lechien, Alix Kubel, Nino Lahiffe, Max Kante and Ivan Bruel” she said which made them all stand “You all have one week of detention, I also will have you do cleaning with the janitor during that week. If you have a problem with this, I will have no problem speaking to your parents about the unjustified bullying towards Marinette that you have done” she said making them look at her in shock.

“Now then… Juleka Couffaine, Mylène Haprèle, Rose Lavillant, Nathaniel Kurtzberg and Sabrina Raincomprix. For now, I want you to return home and think about what Marinette has done so terrible that you saw her do to deserve the pain she received” she ordered making them slowly nod as they grabbed their things and left.

Olga noticed how nervous Marinette and Adrien looked over the situation “So this leaves… Alya Cesaire, Chloe Bourgeois and Lila Rossi… your parents have been called and informed of the bullying done towards Marinette… As for you Lila your mother was also informed of the sexual harassment you have done towards Adrien… which his father is informed about… and she also knows about how your failing” she said making Lila freak out as she tried to run out… only to be stopped by her mother.

Once it was only her with Marinette and Adrien. She told Mari that her parents were waiting for her at home “You will also be allowed a week to stay at home to rest” she explained making Mari nod and leave the classroom. With her and Adrien alone… she turned to look at him “It is very clear that you have suffered greatly. Get yourself a therapist to get some help to help you with the pain you have gone through” she said making him nod and promise to get one before leaving to return home.

Once he left, she pulled out her phone and called Child services about what Adrien is going through at school and at home. She also described Adrien’s physical form of being skinny and also how he is pulled out of school often without the school giving permission for him to go… she then calls the Embassy and informs them of how Lila has been using her mom’s job to protect herself and lie about travelling.

This of course causes many changes… Alya was without electronics because of her actions, some were pulled out of activities because of what they have done, Chloe was banned from shopping and Lila… well she was on the next flight back to Italy where she will reside until college… if she even is able to get into one that is.

Adrien was also taken to live with his aunt in London due to child labor laws being broken by his father who made Adrien work when he should be at school, put on multiple diets that were becoming dangerous for him and worked him over the normal hours he should be working… in the end things were getting better. Marinette was smiling again and made some new friends and was confirmed doing a lot better by her parents, they even got her a therapist to talk to about her pain and suffering she was put through.

But it was all thanks to Olga… because now justice has been served… since she was the only one who knew what to do in the end…

Ever since the new Miraculous season dropped I've been doing a deepdive into the Shadybug and Clawnoir universe.

I've noticed that characters major role remained the same in the Shadybug and Claw Noir universe.

Ex:

Emilie - Dead

Chloe - still a bully

Gabriel - still a fashion designer

Marinette's family - owns a famous bakery

Adrien - a supermodel

Gorilla - still a bodyguard

Marinette - fashion designer and makes her own clothes

I assume other characters in the alternate reality also follow suit, with the exception of Alya who is supposed to be Marinette's best friend (which I actually can explain why she isn't in the Shady and Claw universe)

What I'm trying to get at is, the AU is NOT a swap au like many people have been thinking- "oh! Gabriel is a hero now so he must be a good dad now!" WRONG

"Why is Chloe still a bully?? Mlb always villainizing Chloe, this supposed to a swapped au!" also WRONG

Ok so I have to admit I also had this surface level thought process for a while, but the new season that dropped chucked me back in and it got me thinking a LOT.

The only thing that changed is Master Fu was never the guardian and the supreme took over- and Gabriel swapped the hero/villain role with Marinette and Adrien.

But outside of those differences that's it. The only difference between this universe and the OG is it's post-apocalyptic or more like a dystopian world after it went awry. The characters are all the same in personality and traits, the only difference is the reaction to living in a controlled society.

Adrien was able to get under the Supreme's control due to his father's neglect and his possible depression/suicidal tendencies after his mother's death. I also think the cause of Emilie's death is different, which induced a different reaction from Gabriel- as in the original universe it was the use of a damaged miraculous that killed her. I believe The Supreme had a hand in Emilie's death causing Gabriel to become a freedom fighter and subdue The Supreme.

Now you're thinking, but if that's true then wouldn't Adrien know about it and not trust The Supreme? NO, because like in the original no one tells Adrien SHIT he's always left in the dark about everything. The only difference between him and og Adrien, is OG Adrien is more calm rather than short tempered like Clawdrien (possibly due to the change in stakes, or a difference in reaction to his mother's death). I believe Gabriel also neglected his son, whether it was intentional or not I have reason to believe that he isn't a good father like everyone believe's, yes he's betterfly but I think he'd notice his son was becoming a supervillain if he took care to pay attention.

Alya isn't Marinette's friend because Marinette doesn't care as much as she did in the OG, in the og she brought snacks to share w/ which led to Chloe's bullying. Also I just rewatched the first episode of season 1 and I forgot Marinette wasn't always obsessed w/ Adrien bcuz she just said "who's Adrien to Chloe" I feel blinder than Adrien because how did I miss that. Anyway Chloe bullying Marinette at the time was what led to her meeting Alya, but since Marinette is closed off and more guarded in the ShadyClaw universe I believe that first meeting didn't happen as expected. Marinette probably thought Alya was either pitying her or making fun of her leading to the lack of friend retention (no best friend).

Alya is also a huge hero fan and hero advocate, I believe she would have joined the resistance and got recruited by Gabriel in order to help along the way.

So basically what I'm trying to say is everything is the same and the only thing that changed is Master Fu didn't take the miracle box and run. The peacock miraculous was also likely not damaged too.

Marinette and Adrien are the most changed, due to their reactions to their surroundings and darker world causing their more guarded and cagey personalities. Also the fact they use their miraculous for personal gain rather than the help of others.

So anyway I hate how in the end of the special Shadybug and Claw Noir were immediate redeemed and became good. I wish they remained evil, and gradually became good in their own world after taking the experience in a better world to heart. Of course it wasn't going to play out like that possibly due to the fact it's a special and we're probably never gonna see Clawdrien and Shadynette ever again in canon.

A Small but Stubborn Fire by @cardiac-agreste

What if you were the parent of a teenage superhero, but didn't know they were? All you know is the nightmares, the panic attacks, and the bruises. She's missing school, she's disappearing on you, and she's not telling you anything. So you assume the worst: Assault. Depression. A permanent rift in the family. And what do you do when you realize you weren't thinking dark enough? Because your fourteen-year old daughter is the hero who flirts with death on the nightly news. -- Come inside and read about one mother's struggles to raise her daughter in a dangerous world while avoiding the mistakes her own mother made with her.

This is a more serious take on the consequences of Hawk Moth's war on Paris, with actual bloody, painful deaths as a consequence of many akumas, and Parisians developing PTSD because of what they've gone through. Ladybug can fix all the physical scars, but not the mental ones, including her own.

I love the focus on Sabine here. She's not just presented as being a mom - though of course that IS an important role she has. But she's explored as a character in her own right, one with a lot of emotional baggage as a result of her abusive mother, and trying to not fall into her mistakes, but sometimes doing so anyway out of fear for Marinette's safety. She's a really fleshed out, humanly flawed character, sometimes admitting that she would do something selfish if it means protecting the people she cares most about, like her daughter, even if its at others expense. She grows and changes a lot throughout the course of the story, her perspective on many matters changing multiple times as a result of getting new information or seeing the consequences of her previous approaches, and adjusting as a result.

If you want a fic that more realistically explores the dark consequences of Miraculous's setting, that fleshes out Sabine, or just develops a character in a complex way, then I highly recommend you check "A Small but Stubborn Fire" out!

With Team Miraculous now full-time holders, Ladybug has them patrolling in pairs like her and Chat Noir. New partners Pigella and Purple Tigress get along phenomenally, their easy banter and similar wavelengths making working with each other a joy in and out of combat. But sometimes Tigress is surprised just how close she is with her partner. Sometimes she tries not to feel too guilty thinking about it.

There’s some nice Julerose here! I love them kinda getting into a lovesquare with each other, though it’s not as much of a problem as it is in canon since it’s reciprocal in every relationship and they’re both down for a poly. It’s fun, and I love the “Luka attempting to woo some of his love interests” plot going on in the background XD.

Akuma attacks don't stop just because Alya is no longer a Hero, but that's fine, because she can still help clear civilians from the danger zone. Even celebrity-friends like Adrien Agreste.

Hey guys this is an amazing one-shot, even with as short as it is. I love how it goes into Alya’s thoughts and feelings about why she doesn’t swear (because you can’t do that on-air as a journalist and she has little sisters that she can’t swear around anyway) and her coming up with ways to suppress her swears when she’s tempted.

Then of course, she finds out a secret that makes all of that go out the window…

Nino didn’t not like Chat Noir. He thought the dude was cool and hilarious. His sense of humor reminded him of Adrien. Things hadn’t always been tense between them. When they fought back to back during Heroes’ Day it had felt like they were brothers. But it was clear to him that Chat Noir wasn’t his biggest fan. The other hero was always welcoming and kind to Rena Rouge when she joined the team, but he had always been somewhat aloof with Carapace. And Chat Noir had been especially different around him after Rocketear. but it wasn’t like Chat Noir knew that Nino and Carapace were the same person, so why had he started avoiding Carapace? … Adrien couldn’t figure out why things between Adrien and Nino had always been so easy when things between Chat Noir and Carapace felt so hard. Like, he knew he was different as Chat, but he was far less different as Adrien with Nino than anyone else. Or he had been before… Rocketear. And now? Now, he had no idea how he was supposed to act. Had no idea what Nino wanted from Chat Noir, but it was very clear he wasn’t measuring up.

The Markov Alliance by CrochetJellybean

Slight spoilers for season 5! Markov was excited to use Max's class time to learn more about the AI system within the Alliance rings. In his exploration, he accidentally discovers a chat room of 14 non-humans connected to the Alliance network, so he decides to join it.

This was hilarious and fun and heartwarming. Markov accidentally stumbling across the kwamis and them hinting as best they could about what to do and who to tell about them (as best they could without spewing out bubbles) was great, along with the Miracuclass’s reaction to finding out about them.

Also their groupchat name is “plagg is oblivious” due to Plagg not figuring out that Nooroo was in the same house as him all this time, which is just perfect XD. I’ve reread this fic several times, it’s so good and bite-sized!

They are suddenly so much closer than they ever have been before, Adrien is apparently a flirt, Marinette is no longer a stuttering mess, and not to mention the nicknames that came out of no where. Alya is happy for her friends, but she knows there's something more going on, and the reporter in her is going to get to the bottom of it.

She knew in her heart that on the day the five of them (eight, ten, twelve of them) defeated Hawkmoth once and for all, Chat Noir would take Ladybug in his arms - no, wait, Ladybug would take Chat Noir in her arms - and finally share that romantic kiss all of Paris was waiting for. They would tell each other who they are and fall in love all over again, safe in their victory. Then it turned out Ladybug was Marinette, so that went out the window. Chapter 9.4: “Mystery secrets and unexpected passions”

For the whole next hour Mari still wasn't able to focus on one thing, everything was busy with either Chat Noir or studying, or her depression but at the some moment it all generally mixed.

Of course she got in time to take the shower but she was doing it for about an hour because of what there was literally very little time left for everything else but she'd needed and to dry her hair and style them, and make up but how to do it if she even can't calm herself down?

And perhaps, Alya could help her with it but her strength and nerves aren't iron too so she just brought that matter but had tried to help her.

Now she returned to her friend with that all what was needed. She saw her lying on the floor and wrapped in a small ball.

“And what is it called?” She asked clattering unpleasant.

Silence in response.

“Mari, hullo?” She went to her and waved in front of her face tryna get her up. “Mari, enough otherwise I'll have a attack now.”

“I am bad,” she uttered very timidly.

“Really?! We've already talked 'bout it. Stop thinking 'bout it! You see it only ruins.”

“What if he breaks up with me again? What if I trust him again? What if it hurts me again? What if?..”

“Stop!” Alya pulled her over and easily picked her up. “Look at me.” There wasn't reply. “Look. At. Me.” Her voice was becoming more ironclad what forced Mari obey her. “Girl, just get one thing: if you focus only on this shit right now, you'll just kill yourself, do you need it? Maybe it's better to just take it and tryna forget?”

“I can't,” she answered sadly. “I know it's unpleasant to act such way at all but I can't help thinking and you see it.”

“I do but it hurts me too, hurts the way you look. And because of him!”

Her words were more like a scream than a shout what made Mari feel even worse.

“Oh sorry, Marinette,” Alya started to apologize seeing her friend in this condition, “honestly, I didn't want but don't know what happened to me, it's like I became different, tryna manipulate and make you want things that you don't need and vice versa, I…”

“Nothing wrong,” Mari hurried to reply not wanting to hear any bad statements 'bour her friend. “It's okay, don't worry.”

“How not to worry? You're bad again but I can't do anything!” She drooped.

“You can't 'cause I won't let.”

“Mari, stop tryna shield me from this, my wishes and thoughts won't change.”

“You wishes and thoughts won't but actions will.” She said it really calmly so Alya got better.”

“But what actions? I do nothing anyway,” she moaned.

“Yeah, I agree But that's the calculation.”

“Well,” She began after the silence minute, “now let's make you better!”

“And what will we do?”

Then the hours of their b'ness together were passing. Alya was improving Mari with steady movements, and she was sitting straight and listening to her friend's instructions believing and hoping that her sufferings would end very soon.

Hey Cap!! Miscellaneous PN meta question :)))

I’m curious if you’re planning on having Zoe appear in PN? Similar to a lot of characters in ML, she has a hell of a lot of potential! Especially with how her relationship with Chloe would function and change over time… but the creators kind of fumbled the bag with her and didn’t utilise a lot of her interesting aspects.

Well, as far as I’m aware they didn’t. I’m ngl, I’ve not watched all of season four (maybe about half of it) or any of season 5, I got distracted and then saw spoilers and was like “damn wtf?” and haven’t been able to start watching it again.

Anyway! I was curious if she’ll appear and what your thoughts on her are (in canon and / or for PN, I’ll take either!) cause I know that you’re diverging from canon more as Panthera goes on (which makes sense, it’d be a total continuity error if you didn’t!) but I actually can’t remember which season you’re using as the cut off for when you’ll stop paying attention to canon / have the finale. 

I just realised since one of the main traits they gave Zoe’s character was ‘being good at acting’ it’d be funny if you made the characters reference the theatre arc just basically going like “lmao yeah, I remember that, that was crazy Juleka got stabbed. Anyway.” And she never got the opportunity to be in her element. Though she does have enough going on what with being moved to a foreign country by her mum who doesn’t give a shit, suddenly having Chloe as a sister and maybe throwing a wrench into whatever dance Alya and Marinette have going on that it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

(I might just want another theatre arc. I genuinely cannot wait till I get back to Adam and his bullshittery and Juleka’s rejected depression hours during my reread. More notes in general will be coming soon, hopefully once or twice a week as I settle into college!!)

(Also I didn’t have very strong opinions on Zoe aside from “damn they fumbled. Anyway.” until I managed to fit her into my own overly elaborate miraculous fic plan. Her relationship with Chloe is so fucking sad and convoluted because of canon and my own plot ramifications and I’m looking forward to writing it so bad. Zoe will in fact make an appearance! Cleaning up how Audrey covered her existence up or how she exists but Zoe will make an appearance! I think she’s too much of a lost opportunity for depth and stuff to not give my go at in Panthera.

Okay, just, hear me out

Y'know how Gabriel is, like, dying and all that? (Don't hate on me if this as changed, I'm super not caught up.) So, what if he does die.

Ladybug and Chat Noir are super confused, heck, all of Paris is, cuz Monarch has been completely silent.

Adrien is, of course, super depressed and upset, and his friends mourn with him.

Ladybug gets a message, somehow, from Natalie, asking to talk to her and Chat privately. They meet up, and she tells them everything, including the fact that she is dying. She doesn't want anybody else to go through what they have.

Ladybug, though devastated due to what this means for Adrien, the love of her life, is also ecstatic to have the miraculous back, and is so distracted by reuniting with the Kwamis that she misses what Chat says. But Natalie doesn't.

I don't know what he'd say, maybe, "I can't believe my dad would do this" or "how could I have missed this" or "I can't believe you guys lied to me" (maybe even, "my dad tried to kill me?"). Honestly it doesn't matter.

Whatever he says, Natalie is smart. Yeah, she's made mistakes, but she's smart. Even if it takes her a second to figure it out, and another second or two in order to account for shock and the realization of what she did to the boy she has considered to be something like a son, she gets there, and fully breaks down.

She can't stop apologizing. Chat/Adrien, despite everything that has happened, comes to her side, and wraps her in a big hug, and comforts her. He's still upset, angry even, but he will stay by her side. Eventually, he'll understand why they did what they did. But for now, he's going to do everything he can to fix this as best as he can. For Natalie and his mother.

Ladybug is also smart. But she can't figure out why Chat is so determined to figure out how to fix the peacock miraculous. I mean, sure, it's important, it's their best chance of saving Natalie and Emilie, but he doesn't seem to be doing it out of a sense of urgency. Instead, he seems to be absolutely desperate. She's seen Chat face monsters, seen him as a monster himself, yet this is the worst she's seen him. Though Monarch had been defeated, Chat Blanc returns to her nightmares.

Marinette notices Adrien's strange behavior as well. He's exhausted, and constantly on edge. It makes sense, his dad had just died, but there seemed to be more. He was rushing home as soon as he could, as often as he could. He was constantly reading books and was barely eating.

Finally, with Alya and the kwamis' help, she connects the dots. She feels terrible. She throws herself into the work just as much as Chat/Adrien has.

In the end, in the nick of time, they find a way to save Natalie and Emilie. Emilie is horrified at what her best friend and husband had done, yet wonders what she would have done in their place. Chat breaks down and detransforms the second he sees his mother. (Many hugs and tears amongst the four.) He doesn't even realize what he has done, and most certainly doesn't notice Ladybug turning into Marinette. After calming down, however, he too connects the dots. He stares at her, and she just smiles. He smiles right back.

Anyway, just a random thought I had in the tub after watching miraculous with my baby siblings

Pretty much.

Marinette is too freaked by the whole mess with a supervillain and being the one obligated to try and stop said supervillain completely by herself and did she mention she's doing it by herself because she is still very much freaked out over that particular detail.

So freaked out that a little thing like gum in her seat and the blond boy trying to remove it don't really register in comparison to the really overwhelming task she's been saddled with.

Alya: (Grabs Marinette) What are you doing? You nearly sat in gum! Marinette: Huh? Alya: ...are you even awake right now? Marinette: Ask me when it's tomorrow. Adrien: Are...are you okay? Marinette: (Thumps head on table)

Then they make the argument that Chloe stuck her gum on the seat, she essentially "claimed" the desk. So they end up forced to move back.

Marinette: Did we have to move? Alya: Did you want the gum seat? Marinette: ...no.

As far as a crush goes...I'd argue that the original reason Adrien fell in love with Ladybug was seeing her turn things around after having been hesitant and questioning her ability. If Hero!Marinette was appearing strong and self-assured and if Adrien didn't have that close personal interaction with her at the beginning, then it is questionable whether he would be crushing on her.

Chloleka Style Queen inspiration!

So, the same general gist happens as discussed before, Audrey shows up is somewhat impressed by Juleka but tears down Chloe on principle and then lashes out & storms off over the seats. Juleka keeps Chloe with her but she's clearly not doing well and so ushers her away so they miss Audrey's initial murder spree. She then finds them but Chloe kicks into gear again & convinces Audrey to spare them as they can be useful.

Cue Juleka & Chloe being dragged around by Audrey on her little vengeance quest. Then at the Eiffel Tower, rather like canon, she leaves them to watch over a disintegrating Adrien & they get approached by Ladybug. Audrey notices & shoots at Chloe but Juleka takes the shot for her. Seeing the situation is really freaking bad, Ladybug grabs Chloe & bolts.

She leaves Chloe on a roof with explicit instructions to "wait, I'll be back soon & then you can help Juleka." Their relationship as civilians is... Better than canon at this stage, Juleka's influence, Chloe's distraction, and some genuine shifts have caused things to simmer down & what she saw of Audrey and the general intensity of the situation leave Marinette inclined to risk it.

When she sees Chat Noir is also out, she grabs the Tiger to be safe.

Cue Chloe getting to make a proper debut as Queen Bee and actively being chosen., huzzah!. But also their efforts to recruit firepower in Alya still ending up with her disintegrating, oh no! Chloe does manage to sting Audrey and save Ladybug, but the timer of Venom & Plagg's impatience, plus Unification not being known yet means he still Cataclysms the Tower.

Cue the heroes having to bolt due to their timers and in trying to avoid a pissed off and grouching Audrey, Juleka finds the box & takes it.

But hey she revover relatively quickly, it is to save her crush form her mother that want to kill them both but hey she recovered!!!!! And also get to kick her ass!!!!!! Btw i can see juleka not even wanting to keep it but just returning it as soon as possible(so tomorrow during a new mr pigeon akuma) but roarr convince her not to do it or tell she was chosen to be a hero because lets be real, roarr is chaotic like that you can't change my mind.

So tigress become a vigilante that think is on the same team of the heroes but for some reason roarr told her not to interact with them much or just avoid ladybug.

Spot the difference

When Zoe and Alya become replacement heroes, Marinette could have told the kwamis to pass on the message to avoid wearing the rings! Except she was kinda depressed and their decision had been a shock to her.

However as she went to visit Alya to congratulate her, she also had a list of things to beware and avoid, among which was the alliance ring.

Alya dismisses Marinette’s concern, reluctant to give up the latest technical fad and unable to think of an explanation for even doing that. Besides, does Marinette know how much these things cost?

After the events of Deflagration, Marinette, Alya, Tikki and Plagg are curious how Monarch discovered their secret identities so quickly.

What is the difference between Marinette and Alya? Could it really be the alliance ring?

Plagg: actually, now that you mention it, Chat Noir doesn’t wear an alliance ring, but Kitty does.

Everyone is stunned.

Alya hesitantly says, “And Kouki wore 5 alliance rings on his hands, Nora was complaining to me about him being such a spendthrift. That was the only time we faced an akuma with the powers of 5 miraculous. Did the other akumas wear multiple alliance rings?”

Marinette: no.

Alya said what everyone must be thinking. “So the alliance rings are how Monarch transfers the powers of the kwami.”

Tikki: you think Gabriel might be Monarch after all?

Marinette: i don’t want to think it could be true, but we can’t discount the possibility. I know he was the Collector before but the arrival of Mayura means he has at least one ally who could akumatize him on his behalf.

Alya: it is too much of a coincidence that Gabriel should be akumatized right after he loses the grimoire, the most incriminating clue that would lead to Hawkmoth.

Plagg: if Gabriel really is Monarch, there’s only one way to know for sure. He’ll have my mark on him after the wax museum.

Alya: right…how are we going to see Gabriel’s arm? A vaccine?

Marinette: not to mention, i am certain that Monarch would want to hide such a clue with makeup.

Plagg: there’s only one way to know for sure. A spy mission. Send me Marinette, no offense but out of all of you, I blend in the most easily.

Alya: right, then how do you explain kwami buster?

Tikki, who knows Plagg knows the Agreste mansion best of them all, speaks up. “No, he’s right. We need to send in Plagg.”

Marinette twiddled her fingers. “Especially since the Resistance’s last plan with Gabriel epically failed.”

Plagg avoids meeting Adrien, knowing he won’t take kindly to his father being accused again. But he really goes all out in exploring the house. He does more than sneak into Gabriel and Nathalie’s rooms, he searches for hidden lairs and vaults. He finds Monarch’s lair easily enough, and his captured friends!

Plagg reports this to Marinette. Grimly, she starts planning. “Gabriel must be hiding the rings under his gloves.”

Alya: what are you going to do now?

Marinette: I’m going to arrest Monarch in the last place he expects. When do you think Gabriel is making his next public appearance?

Alya: uh…no clue. I’m still surprised he went to the parent teacher conference.

Marinette: we need more heads. Plagg, you can go to Chat and-

Plagg: actually, it might be better if you leave Chat out of this.

Marinette: why?

Plagg: I can’t say.

A pause before they move on.

Alya: what if Adrien has his friends over, is that enough of a public setting for you?

Marinette nodded. It will do, but I have to ambush him easily.

Alya: you can count on the resistance.

Sure enough, Alya knocks Gabriel unconscious and lets Ladybug in through the window. Adrien is stunned when Ladybug exposes his father as the villain.

As the resistance stands watch over the bound villain, Ladybug summons her lucky charm to find his lair.

She frees the kwamis. Gabriel is arrested but there is still the question of who Mayura is, either Tomoe or Nathalie. Anyway, they are both taken into custody where Nooroo happily outs them.

Adrien then has to move away to Paris after the public backlash and stay with his aunt. Plagg offers the miraculous again but Adrien politely declines, instead promising to help recover the Peacock from his cousin should he show his face again.

WDIB Chapter 6

Jon was freaking out.

Plain and simple, freaking out.

He took a deep breath, this was fine. Well, it wasn’t, but it would be.

Break it down, pros and cons.

Pro: He met his sister!

Con: She didn’t know about anything.

Pro: They look very similar!

Con: She got possessed by an evil butterfly.

Pro: She was able to get unpossessed!

Con: She was CURRENTLY UNCONSIOUS.

The cons were winning.

“Damian?! Damian, she fainted! What do I do?” Jon shouted, looking between his sister and his best friend rapidly.

Dad always told him to look for a rock when he was freaking out.

Damian was a good rock.

He never freaked out.

Not visibly at least.

Damian made a move to walk over to them when he was intercepted, shoved out of the way by a girl with red hair and glasses.

Jon was fairly certain he had heard that her name was Alya. He should have paid better attention, but then again there was…

Everything that had just happened.

“Move!” She shouted, pulling his sister from his arms.

Alya (he was guess/hoping was her name) leaned her head down, pressing her ear against his sister’s chest.

She hummed, rubbing his sister’s arm soothingly as she pulled away, holding her hand out.

“Uh…” Jon said, looking around for what she might be asking for.

He didn’t have to worry about it though, the boy with the red hat (Nino? Maybe? He needed to ask but that felt… rude at this point.) took off his hat and handed it her.

She placed it on his sister’s head, using it to block the sun from her face.

She aggressively waved her hand again and, thankfully, Nino (Please let that be right.) seemed to know what she was saying.

He walked over, bending down a scooping her up.

Alya (Please let him be right…) turned to him, gesturing to the group as a whole.

“I think we need to talk.” She stated, standing up and waiting for him to stand.

“Ah, yeah. Yeah, sure. Okay!” Jon rambled, scrambling to his feet and standing next to Damian.

Nino stared at him, wide eyed.

“Oh… That’s… Familiar.” He said, shifting his grip on Jon’s sister and looking down at her.

Alya nodded, turning around and walking.

“Yep. Let’s go.” She said, walking with purpose.

Jon looked to Damian, nodding his head towards them before also following.

They walked silently, following after the two of them when Damian spoke up.

“Where did the others go? Your heroes, I presume?” He directed the question to Alya, she seemed like the one in charge at the moment.

She looked over her shoulder at them.

“They usually leave pretty quickly; they don’t tend to stick around.” She answered, stopping mid-step.

“Hey, Nino? Where should we go, yours or mine?” She asked turning to him.

Jon did a mental cheer; he had at least gotten one of their names right.

“May I propose a different option?” Damian had moved to stand next to them, Jon rushing to join him.

He could see his sister better from here, she looked tired…

“Why don’t I rent out a hotel room? It would provide a more neutral environment for all of us. As well as a more public space.” He offered, making his case to them.

Alya hummed, seeming to be thinking before turning to Nino.

“Well, that’s not a bad idea, Dude, but I’m not sure I can afford to blow some cash on a hotel room that we’re barely gonna use…” He said rolling his shoulders.

“I will be paying for it, I am the one who had the idea after all. Besides, we will need to rent anyway, we hadn’t been planning to stay in Paris longer than it took to pick her-” He gestured to Jon’s sleeping sister. “-up and gather her belongings.”

Alya rubbed her chin, looking down thoughtfully. “Fine, we need to talk in private anyway. I’m not sure how much privacy we would get at either of our homes. Lead the way."

Bethany's Bizarre Miraculous Reviews: Episodes 5-10 and 5-11: The Scarabella, Kitty Noire, and Butterfly Miraculous Two-Parter!

Honestly, I'm chilling with this. Zoe was relevant for, like, two episodes. I want her to have more character than just being the new holder of the Bee after Chloe was groomed and had a relapse. Also in general I'm tired of all this Marinette focus. Frankly, I think there should be hour-long Miraculous specials focusing on other side characters of the Miracucast. It can be called the [characters] hour and can have a cute title screen like this!

Oh boy. They made Chloe into a goofy Saturday morning cartoon villain.

Does anyone have any good classical allegories for what Marinette is going through? Sisyphus is about fixing a mess that keeps on spawning, maybe Tantalus? Marinette is being pressured to pursue Adrien, but can never reach him. And when she does, the apocalypse happens. Would the apocalypse happen if Tantalus finally grabbed the fruit or drank from the water?

I don't think even Chloe's VA wants to do this anymore.

The horror

Adrien and Marinette nearly got together, and the apocalypse is starting once more. Doomed relationship.

3 I Love Sally Jackson. This Woman Is A Godsend.

Chapters: 1, 2, 3(You are Here)

“What’s going on?” Percy asked as soon as he opened the door. He was tense, but I’d expected that. It wasn’t often I made a house call. Before I could say anything, though, Apollo cut me off. 

“Hello, Percy Jackson.” He started, “It’s Apollo, I’m sure you remember me.” 

Percy grimaced. As I’d thought, he wasn’t thrilled about a god showing up on his doorstep. I shook my head. 

“Long story short, Apollo got turned mortal and I need help getting him and another demigod, Meg, to camp.” I told Percy. 

“You mean the beat up teenager look isn’t a disguise?” Percy asked, relenting and letting us inside. 

“He got beat up and almost mugged after he fell into the dumpster outside my window.” I explained. “We also might be being followed so I suggest we move quickly.” 

“Followed by what?” Percy glanced over my shoulder, eyes softening a bit when he saw Meg. She didn’t seem much older than Percy was when he went to camp the first time, if she was any older at all. 

“Spirits of some kind. I didn’t get a good enough look to tell what kind.” I said. Sally came around the kitchen counter. Guilt settled in my stomach. I’d completely forgotten that Sally was heavily pregnant with Percy’s half sister. If I’d remembered, I’d have looked for a different way to get these two to camp. 

“Sacred Sibyl!” Apollo cried, clearly alarmed, “Madam, there is something wrong with your midsection!” 

I smacked Apollo in the arm. 

“She's pregnant, moron.” I snapped. Sally was more good natured about the comment than I was. She just looked at her belly and told Apollo. 

“Well, I’m seven months pregnant, to be exact.” 

“How can you bear it?” Apollo asked, looking ready to cry for her. “My mother, Leto, suffered through a long pregnancy, but only because Hera cursed her. Are you cursed?” 

I rolled my eyes. I had met Leto only once but she was a very nice woman. I’d be lying if I said that a big reason that I was helping Apollo now wasn’t to repay her for the help she gave me during my own quest a few years back. Percy stepped up to Apollo’s side. 

“Um, Apollo? She’s not cursed. And could you not mention Hera?” Percy said.  

“You poor woman.” Apollo shook his head as he talked. “A goddess would never allow herself to be so encumbered. She would give birth as soon as she felt like it.” 

“That must be nice.” Sally agreed. Remembering my step-mother’s struggles with late term pregnancy when she was pregnant with my little sister, Alya, I made a mental note to send Percy home with some magical remedies for Sally’s soreness and such before he left camp for home. Percy coughed. 

“So, anyway. Mom, this is Apollo and his friend Meg. You already know Celeste. Guys, this is my mom.” 

“Call me Sally.” She smiled then narrowed her eyes when she saw his busted nose. “Dear, that looks painful. What happened?” 

Apollo opened his mouth to explain but choked up before he could get anything out. I looked at him in concern. Apollo being lost for words wasn’t normal if what Leto had told me about her son was to be believed. 

“He ran into some trouble on the way here.” I said, vaguely. 

“Tell you what,” Sally said, giving Apollo a comforting pat on the shoulder. “Percy can help you get bandaged and cleaned up.” 

“I can?” Percy asked. Sally gave him an eyebrow raise silently saying ‘oh yes you will’. 

“There’s a first-aid kit in your bathroom, sweetheart. Apollo can take a shower, then wear your extra clothes. You two are about the same size.” Sally instructed. 

“That,” Percy said, “is truly depressing.” 

 Sally then went to inspect Meg. As usual, Sally’s expression was gentle and reassuring, but with a definite undertone of worry. I could definitely see why. Meg was dirty with her odd clothing choice of green dress, yellow leggings and red shoes. She kinda looked like an upside down traffic light. 

“I have some clothes that might fit you, dear.” Sally said. “Pre-pregnancy clothes, of course. Let’s get you cleaned up. Then we’ll get you something to eat.” 

“I like food.” Meg muttered. She got like that when people tried taking care of her. It was either meek embarrassment or stubborn refusal that she needed help. Sally laughed. 

“Well, we have that in common. Percy, you take Apollo. We’ll meet you back here in a while. Celeste, make yourself at home. You’re welcome to anything in the kitchen.” 

“Thank you, Sally.” I said. I moved out of the way and sat on the couch. I sighed, relaxing for the first time since finding Apollo in the alley. 

While waiting, I idly looked at my reflection in the window. Long black hair braided and tossed over my shoulder and my purplish blue eyes stared back at me. My father kept a potted blue hyacinth in his office, saying that he did so because their color reminded him of my eyes. I didn’t look like my father at all and a lot of people questioned if I was even his. After meeting Hecate, my mother, it became clear why. I had her dark hair and pale complexion in contrast to my father’s strawberry blonde hair and tan skin. 

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Sally and Meg walking in. Meg joined me on the couch. Sally had managed to put Meg in an outfit that actually looked cohesive aside from Meg’s red shoes. Sally had also cleaned Meg’s face and glasses. Apollo and Percy weren’t far behind. Percy had given Apollo a pair of pants and a Led Zeppelin t-shirt, a picture of Icarus falling from the sky. I silently wondered if it was a subtle joke on Percy’s part.  

Apollo choked back a sob upon seeing Meg. I idly wondered why. Maybe she reminded him of a dryad he’d been fond of? She certainly looked the part at the moment. 

“Do I look that bad?” Meg said, pouting. 

“No, no,” Apollo struggled to get the words out, “It’s just…” 

Apollo turned away from her. I could practically feel his sadness and discomfort. 

“You look fine, Meg.” I said, giving Apollo an out of this conversation. 

“Well,” Sally said with forced cheeriness. “How about I make some lunch while you four… talk.” 

She gave Percy a worried look, then headed to the kitchen, holding her belly protectively. 

“Percy, your mom is so normal.” Meg said, wistfully. 

“Thanks, I guess.” Percy said. He picked up a stack of test preparation manuals from the coffee table and chucked them aside in irritation. 

“I see you like to study,” Apollo said, “Well done.” 

Percy snorted. 

“I hate to study. I’ve been guaranteed admission with a full scholarship to New Rome University, but they’re still requiring me to pass all my high school courses and score well on my SAT. Can you believe that? Not to mention I have to pass the DSTOMP.” 

“The what?” Meg asked. 

“An exam for Roman demigods,” Apollo explained. “The Demigod Standard Test of Mad Powers.” 

“Stupid name,” I muttered. “The least they could do is translate it into something we can read.” 

“That’s what it stands for?” Percy frowned. 

“I should know. I wrote the music and poetry analysis sections.” Apollo said, proudly. 

“I will never forgive you for that,” Percy said, seriously. Meg swung her feet. 

“So you’re a demigod? Like me and Celeste?” She asked. 

“Like Celeste and I,” Apollo corrected. Meg stuck her tongue out at him. 

“Afraid so.” Percy sighed and sank into the armchair, leaving Apollo to squish on the couch next to Meg and I. “My dad is the godly one- Poseidon. What about your parents?” 

Meg froze. Avoiding eye contact by studying her hands as though they had suddenly become the most interesting thing in the room. 

“Never knew them… much.” Was all she said. Percy hesitated. 

“Foster home? Stepparents?” 

Meg shifted uncomfortably, practically curling up on herself. Percy looked at me, questioningly. I shook my head and motioned for him to stop. I gently rubbed Meg’s arm to comfort her. She jumped a bit when I touched her. Percy nodded. He raised his hands. 

“Sorry. Didn’t mean to pry.” Percy turned his gaze to Apollo. “So, how’d you guys meet? I know Celeste found you, but ya know…” 

I let Apollo tell the story, and didn’t bother correcting his exaggerations. I kept my eyes on Meg. She leaned into me for comfort and I put an arm around her, hoping I could help her feel more secure. It took awhile, but she relaxed a bit and no longer looked like she wanted to run. Just as Apollo was finishing the story, Sally came in. She set down a bowl of tortilla chips, and a casserole dish filled with a layered dip. 

“I’ll be back with the sandwiches,” she said. “But I had some leftover seven layer dip.”  

“Yum.” Percy immediately dug into the dip with a tortilla chip. “She’s kinda famous for this, guys.” 

Sally ruffled her son’s hair. 

“There’s guacamole, sour cream, refried beans, salsa-” Apollo cut Sally off, looking at her in wonder. 

“Seven layers? You knew seven is my sacred number? You invented this for me?” 

Sally wiped her hands on her apron and smiled, confused. 

“Well, actually,” She said. “I can’t take credit-” 

“You are too modest!” Apollo said, then tried some of the dip. His face lit up. An expected reaction to Sally’s food, I’d never had anything she made that I didn’t like. 

“You will have immortal fame for this, Sally Jackson!” Apollo told her. I stifled a chuckle at his theatrics. 

“That’s sweet.” Sally pointed to the kitchen after speaking. “I’ll be right back.” 

Soon, Sally came back with sandwiches and banana smoothies. Needless to say, we were very happy with everything. Meg shoved food into her face at an alarming speed, looking like a chipmunk by the time she paused to chew. After we ate our fill, Apollo spoke again. 

“Percy,” He said, “your mom is awesome.” 

“She is an absolute blessing.” I agreed. 

“I know, right?” Percy said, he finished his smoothie. “So back to your story… You have to be Meg’s servant now? You guys barely know each other.” 

 “Barely is generous.” Apollo said, bitterly. “Nevertheless, yes. My fate is now linked with young McCaffery.” 

“We are cooperating.” Meg insisted. I rolled my eyes. This girl was having way too much fun with this. Percy fished Riptide from his pocket, tapping the pen against his knee. 

“And this whole being-turned-into-a-mortal-thing…” Percy started, “you’ve done it twice before?” 

“Not by choice,” Apollo said. “The first time, we had a little rebellion in Olympus. We tried to overthrow Zeus.” 

“I can’t imagine that went well.” I said. Percy winced. 

“I got most of the blame, naturally. Oh, and Poseidon. We were both cast down to earth as mortals, forced to serve Laomedon, the king of Troy. He was a harsh master. He even refused to pay us for our work!” Apollo explained. Meg nearly choked on her sandwich. 

“I have to pay you?” she asked. 

“Never fear,” Apollo assured her. “I won’t be presenting you with a bill. But as I was saying, the second time I became mortal, Zeus got mad because I killed some of his Cyclops.” 

“Not cool,” Percy commented, frowning. “My brother is a Cyclops.” 

“These were wicked Cyclops!” Apollo protested. “They made the lightning bolt that killed one of my sons!” 

“To be fair, it’s not like he could directly attack Zeus for killing Asclepius.” I pointed out to Percy. He just grimaced and rolled his eyes. 

“Percy’s brother is a Cyclops? That’s crazy!” Meg said, bouncing up and down. 

“Most Cyclops are sons of Poseidon. Though, most of them don’t have as good a temperament as Tyson.” I told her. Apollo took a deep breath, clearly annoyed at us getting off topic. 

“At any rate,” Apollo stopped us before we could wander farther off topic. “I was bound to Admetus, the king of Thessaly. He was a kind master. I liked him so much, I made all his cows have twin calves?” 

“Can I have baby cows?” Meg asked. 

“Meg, honey, you have nowhere to put a baby cow. Or the means to take care of one.” I said. 

“Guys,” Percy interrupted. “So, just to recap, you have to be Meg’s servant for…?” 

“Some unknown amount of time,” Apollo answered. “Probably a year. Possibly more.” 

“And during that time-” 

“I will undoubtedly face many trials and hardships.” 

“Like getting me my cows,” Meg said. Apollo gritted his teeth. 

“What those trials will be, I do not yet know.” Apollo continued. “But if I suffer through them and prove I am worthy, Zeus will forgive me and allow me to become a god again.” 

Percy and I shared a doubtful look. Zeus wasn’t known for his mercy, and since Apollo had gone through this twice before, I wasn’t optimistic about his chances. 

“Need to get my bearings,” Apollo said. “Once we get to Camp Half-Blood, I can consult with Chiron. I can figure out which of my godly powers remain with me in this mortal form.” 

“If any.” Percy said.

“Let’s think positive.” Apollo said nervously. 

“We should go.” I interject, “I don’t want whatever was following us sniffing around your apartment too much.” 

“Yeah, okay.” Percy nods and gets up. I grabbed my bag and ushered Meg and Apollo toward the door. As we were going, Sally walked in with a plate of freshly baked blue chocolate chip cookies. 

“Mom, don’t freak,” Percy started. 

“I hate it when you say that.” Sally sighed. 

“I’m just going to take these three to camp. That’s all. I’ll be right back.” 

“I think I’ve heard that before.” 

“I promise.” 

Sally looked at Meg, Apollo and I. Her expression softened, her kindness and selflessness outweighing her worry for son. 

“All right,” Sally relented. “Be careful. It was lovely meeting you. Please try not to die.” 

Percy kissed his mom on the cheek and reached for the cookies. However, she moved the plate away. 

“Oh no,” Sally said. “Celeste, Apollo and Meg can have one, but I’m keeping the rest hostage until you get back safely. And do hurry, dear. It would be a shame if Paul ate them all when he gets home.” 

Percy’s expression turned grim. He turned to us. 

“You hear that guy?” He said. “A batch of cookies is depending on me. If you get me killed on the way to camp, I am going to be seriously ticked off.”

- Overall: harsh transitions, hate ladybugs voice, and a bit rushed, and I despised the ending was anticlimactic with ladybug, but overall for a miraculous movie was alright it has amazing animation

- They somehow made it cater for both the old and longtime fans and young and newbie fans good job (for the most part)

bloody Marinette au

bloody Marinette was an au I made back in 2021 it was a miraculous ladybug salt fic but it was horror theme. The plot of bloody Marinette is Marinette is sick and tired of Lila and her whole class Lila bullying and getting the class to go along with it and Adrien not helping her out causes her to become depressed. One day in class max was telling everyone about a game he saw online call the game of Bloody Mary but it's not the mirror game but a ritual. Where you have to summon a horrifying monster named bloody Mary... lila being lila lied about being related to the bloody Mary and would do the game to see her everyone believing her without a second thought. Marinette over heard this and decided to play the game herself. But after doing a but of research for herself she found the ritual and that night she summoned bloody Mary and Mary agreed to help Marinette on her revenge...

Currently there are two chapters. Chapter three is not done yet I am planning on finishing it but due to my brain and life stuff it's hadn't been Mt main focus for about two years now. I know some people liked the story and wish it could get an update but sadly that's not gonna happen anytime soon. But I did post an update for anyone to take the story and write it in their own way until chapter three and other chapters comes out. I have it written they would just have to ask for it and look at to see which they can start off on it.

When the ritual started tikki was in the room with Marinette but was sleeping so she never notices what Marinette was doing but bloody Mary did noticed tikki. When Marinette completed her ritual Bloody Mary would have to make sure that the kwamis wont interfere with Marinette plans of revenge.
