Nothing like my comfort video game story being old but still having a devoted fanbase because of how good it is, but the biggest mod for it that everyone recommends for it because it completely revitalizes the story or whatever, is poorly written out of character slop that reads like a disney channel chapter book of their cheetah girls franchise. And everyone recommends it anywaaaaaaaaaays because they cant see whAT I SEE

With all respect ,chill out a bit lol, artists and writers all take breaks, and people do care about the details but they won't notice if you made a flaw that you see (not saying in a bad way btw)

on one hand: fair. valid. fair and valid. even if I have never been chill a day in my life.

on the other hand... I mean, I'm not only making this art for other people, I'm also doing it because I want to, and this is something I want to be fully proud about making. it's a big piece, even if not my biggest (it will likely be ages before I do something quite as complex as the Daniela one), and I adore the focal character

it's not like I'm fussing over tiny details, either. I had to redo a couple parts on the arms because it looked bad. not just "bad when you zoom in and realize I forgot to fill in a couple gaps on the lineart", but, like, "bad as in dear god the proportions are fucked".

I do think I managed to fix it, at least to an acceptable level, so there's that. definitely works better now that the blocks of color help differentiate the sections.

anywaaaaaaaaaay, I do appreciate the sentiment! I know that I am not a chill person in this specific way (I am in many ways! just not when my anxiety is breakdancing on my brain), but it's kind of just who I am at this point. not saying I'll never get less anxious, just that I'll never be fully anxiety-free.
