trouble, m | jjk
... aka, jeon jungkook’s dick is so good and your pussy is so heavenly that faith in humanity is restored.
pairing(s): jungkook x reader
warnings: rated M (18+) for language; a hookup turned awkward meeting at a goddamn McDonalds of all places; smut (fem reader, hair pulling, heavy making out, m-receiving oral, doggy, penetrative sex, fingering, m-masturbation); non-idol!BTS – ft best friend!Park Jimin being a wingman little shit classic
--
“Oh, I’m in trouble.”
Panic coursed throughout his veins.
“I can’t be here.”
And maybe a little bit of arousal too.
“Jungkook, this is a public place,” Park Jimin corrected him. “Anybody can be at McDonald’s.”
He almost got up from his seat, except he was boxed in a corner of a crowded fast-food restaurant and Jimin shoved the tray full of food right in front of his face. The other side of the table held various shopping bags full of things that Jimin thought his mother would like for the upcoming new year. Why did Jeon Jungkook have to be here? Well, he was the one guy from Busan who happened to be Jimin’s close friend and Jimin’s mother’s favorite friend of her son’s. Therefore, Jungkook obviously had to select something for Jimin to buy just so Jimin could say, Jungkook thought you would look nice in this cream sweater, thus gaining maximum best son points.
Yeah, Jungkook didn’t really get it either, but he was told that he was getting free food out of it.
Didn’t think it was going to be McDonald’s, though.
Also didn’t think that his fuck from last night was going to serendipitously appear, standing in line looking drop-dead gorgeous as she pushed the fur-lined hood of her coat back. Her lush hair spilled out in soft waves over the shoulders of that the black suede long-line stunner, far too much luxury for the city mall. And then there was her face. What god thought it would be funny to allow someone to look that effortlessly pretty bare-faced? Who put such sexy eyes on such a cute face? One glance and one would think, how cute with those dimples and pillowy lips, and then do a double take when the shape of those foxy eyes sunk in, holy shit, fuck me right now. Or, at least Jungkook had thought that. Still thought it, looking at her again in the daylight. Tight white top, heather gray sweatpants that didn’t match the lavishness of the jacket, and easy black-and-white sneakers, clearly everything thrown together to grab some food quickly while being a goddamn snack herself.
Jimin was carefully positioning Jungkook’s meal in front of him – fries, massive sandwich with both a beef patty and fried chicken patty, tall Coca-Cola and all, chatting away, and all Jungkook could do was gawk like an idiot.
Like he said, he was in trouble.
Tomorrow.
The ghost of her hand slid up his chest, caressing his skin while her voice curled by his ear, soft lips kissing down his neck.
I hope your friends ask about me.
The image entering his mind, the way she smiled above him, her skin alight from his mood lamp with specks of red light playfully dancing over her jaw, her fingertips tracing his muscle making his heart race, her soft thighs against his, smooth and sleek and making him insane.
The devil was in the details.
“Hello? Did you space out again?”
Jungkook jumped, startled that Jimin was glaring at him. “What?”
Those small hands stiffly pointed to the food spread before them. “Eat? Come on, it’s busy and we don’t want to take up too much time.”
“R… Right.”
He had about two seconds to take a bite out of his sandwich before Jimin casually asked in between bites of curly fries, “Oh yeah, you ran off last night with that sexy lady. How did that go?”
Jungkook choked.
-
That’s all I am, sex and shallow feelings, tch, what an idiot, acting like it was ever anything else, I don’t need anyone and I won’t need anyone, go ahead and act all high and mighty in front of your friends during the day, we all know you’ll be begging to crawl in my bed at night.
Mind a billion thoughts a minute.
You tilted your head and found yourself not that hungry. Still, some fries and a drink sounded good, so you picked that. Reached into the fur by your chest and pulled out your cardholder, tapping it to pay as you continued scowling in your head, trying not to let it show in the form of resting-bitch-face.
Ten minutes before this moment had been an annoying confrontation. You considered if you could have handled it better.
Or more savagely.
You should have pulled up all those messages you had left on read.
Sigh, but, no, you hadn’t thought of it. Ultimately, it wasn’t worth your time. It would have been a childish move. Why was that anyway? Why was it that you needed to be the “bigger person” and not be petty when some guy got all up in your face about you not wanting a relationship as his supposed friends crowded around in a circle around you two, clearly silently intimidating you? In public! Fuckin’ bum-rushed you on the street as if the showy dramatics would illicit shame or obedience. Yeah, because you were a woman who would just kill to be in a relationship, right? You scoffed internally. ‘Cause it was just so important to be in a relationship, more than, oh, I don’t know, actively not being in one that was definitely, absolutely gonna make you miserable?
Also, he hadn’t even been that good in bed.
“At least I am sex. You couldn’t even be that for a slut with as low standards as me,” was your frigid reply before walking away.
You couldn’t understand it. What was so great about relationships anyway? People only got into them for easy sex. A lotta work for a shitty time. You could get laid without the emotional baggage of another, thank you.
Although, sex probably wasn’t easy for people who acted like little bitches.
Hah.
You thanked the employee and accepted your food, wandering over to the drinks fountain with your paper cup. A basic day of running errands on your off-day now ruined by this bullshit. Nothing a little McDonald’s couldn’t fix though. Something about the nostalgia of hot, simple, cheap fast food made it more delicious. You probably should have gotten a sandwich or something, but you didn’t want to be too full and not want to do your errands after. Fried potatoes it was.
Hey, people called you sex, not the epitome of health.
You notched your finger on the tab and watched the honey-sweetened black ice tea pour out of the nozzle, which was the exact moment your intrusive thoughts popped up.
You avoid making deep relationships so that no one will notice when you die.
Thanks, brain.
Funnily enough, no one had ever said this to you. You would think someone would have noticed by now but, no, this was a revelation you made yourself once you were old enough to understand yourself better, and it came randomly while showering. Hmph. Goddamn showers. You slipped past a lovey-dovey couple to sit by the window counter, plopping down on one of the stools to munch on your fries for a bit. Alone. Some people wanted a lot of people to surround them. A sense of community and togetherness. Some people wanted a chosen few, valuing the quality over quantity. And some people were like you, loners who accepted who you were and that was NSFS – not safe for society – patiently waiting for the one that really understood you.
Or maybe there wasn’t anyone like you and you were just delusional about that.
Anyway, didn’t really matter. This kind of thing simply ended with thinking in circles. Sure, you could dwell on the whole question of existence, the why, but you had determined the more important was the who, the self within, and that wasn’t driven by the why. The who was driven by instinct.
If your instinct was to eat, fuck, sleep, repeat, then so be it.
Oh, and occasional responsibilities, like getting your tires rotated. Hence why you even outside today in the first place.
Hah, what a bother.
You munched on your crispy, hot fries and didn’t bother anyone. You learned not to expect too much out of people. They talked a lotta talk and didn’t walk much walk. I want this, this, and this, you heard a whole lot and nobody did it. A speech was all well and good, just not nearly as half as interesting as doing. And if you didn’t want to do it, you didn’t waste time beating yourself up over it. If that resulted in you only hooking up and avoiding relationships that you didn’t feel like committing to, then at least you weren’t disingenuous or fake.
Yup.
Looking out the window, you watched the people rush past with their shopping bags, linking arms with each other to avoid slipping on the sidewalk. Snow flurries falling down, down. The glass was clean enough that you could see inside the restaurant too. Tables with families and friends sharing simple, cheap fast food and turning it into a collective memory. Laughter and conversation echoed around your silence.
The looking glass showed you two ways.
You didn’t mind it, but it was evident you weren’t part of it too.
Hmmmm.
Your gaze stopped at a pair of guys. One of them was wearing a big black bucket hat. You noticed him because large brown eyes were actively staring back at you. Ogling, even.
What the–
You turned slightly and sat up straight with alarm as Jeon Jungkook stiffened and shifted, scooting closer to the person next to him, sneaking a not-so-subtle glance at you. You continued to look back in stunned confusion.
At goddamn McDonald’s?
Is no place sacred?
It was only less than twenty-four hours ago, but last night felt like another world.
-
Your fingers framing your face.
You licked your lips. Staring into his eyes, everything dark except for the mood lamp he left on. Cycling lights slowly drifted on the ceiling in a colorful haze. It was easy to remember all the shit people liked to say about you when you were alone, she’s so pretty but I hear she’s only into casual sex, what a shame, but you found solace in knowing that they had one fact wrong, because casual sex was for casuals and that was the wrong adjective to describe what you did.
Definitely the incorrect one to describe what transpired between you and Jeon Jungkook last night.
Your hand slipped from your cheek, and you touched his skin, bringing his face close to yours, keeping the whispers only in the air that you shared with those trembling lips.
“You’ve got cute eyes, but I bet you can be sexy when you want to.”
What was wrong with this? What was wrong with your comfort zone being someone else’s hands on your waist, pulling you closer? What was wrong with accepting the surge of power you felt licking the side of his mouth, adding slippery friction to the harshness of the metal rings pierced there, drinking in his moan as you teased him? It was just so annoying caring about all that noise trying to get to you, telling you to tone it down, telling you to stop, and, for what, don’t you have shame, that’s not how women should act, no. What they really meant was that was not how they would act. The consensus was to strive to be the respectable audience, always strive to fit in and be the quiet ones.
You envied their desire for silence.
Because you had to be loud.
You tangled your fingers in his long black hair and pulled his head back, running your tongue over his neck, tasting that skin and the anticipation vibrating in those muscles underneath. Admired the shivers under your body as you rolled into him, nice and slow and agonizing, whispering dirty things to him, things you wanted and none of it safe for work, finally bringing his head back down to nip at those gasping lips, intending on turning them pink and prickling with want, kissing him softly in contrast to the way you tugged at his hair every time he tried to intensify it.
“P-Please…”
His hands on your bare ass, hiking your dress up, digging his fingernails in, trying to keep his breathing even as desperation bled into it.
“You said to show you what I like,” you murmured. “I like teasing you.”
You pressed your body to his so your perfume would cling to his clothes, his bedsheets, his skin.
-
This was going to sound dramatic, but Jungkook was pretty sure last night she saved his life.
Actually.
That sounded very dramatic.
And kind of pathetic, so Jungkook kept that thought to himself, but nevertheless he kept that secret close to his chest, next to his racing heart that couldn’t seem to slow down, especially when her nails raked down his back while her tongue snaked around his, sucking on it lightly compared to the force behind her hands, the contrast between kiss and touch causing unbearable levels of arousal. He hadn’t expected a casual conversation to turn into this. He liked to think he was maybe charming, perhaps suave in some cases, occasionally daring, but he didn’t want anyone to get the wrong idea.
Casual sex could only stay casual if both people got the memo.
And Jungkook knew he didn’t want to get in too deep unless he was sure and the truth was that he wasn’t sure if he was ever going to want someone that much. It was fucking terrifying to be that vulnerable. How could he ever be “sure”? If he failed at his own goals, the only one he was letting down was himself. If his plans didn’t go as planned, well, that sucked but it was okay because it was only himself and he could do something about it. But getting his heart broken by someone else – ugh, what could he do about that? Worse, everything became so complicated when people didn’t say what they meant and didn’t mean what they say. It would be nice to experience the good stuff without the chance of getting his heart broken.
Cut out all that risky business.
It was a bit strange that this situation hadn’t felt like a risk. Of course it was, how was it not risky bringing a woman you barely knew to your apartment with the intent to make out and who knows what else, but, hey, the moment had felt right.
Or maybe it was the gods playing tricks on him.
But, anyway, her tongue wrapping around his balls felt amazing.
She pressed her soft lips to the sensitive skin and sent shivers through his legs as her fingernails dragged down his tense thighs. He hoped they left marks, or at least lingered for a few hours. Looking down, and those sly eyes were gazing back, like they knew exactly the effect they had on him. Sparkling when her name escaped his lips in a pleading whisper, glinting in the low light as her head tipped back and her tongue curled underneath his balls to lick that thin skin behind him, making him gasp and almost fall over, his palm smacking into the wall to hold him up. A jolt of radiating pain shot up his forearm, and then her hot, wet mouth surrounded him and swallowed his cock as deep as it would go.
He wanted to say he had made a sexy moan, but he was ninety-nine percent sure his neighbors were awake, so instead Jungkook whimpered and rested the crown of his head against the wall, feeling his hair stick to his face. Apparently, his embarrassing vocalizations didn’t matter though, because her head started slowly moving back and forth. Her eyes closed, humming steadily in satisfaction. His breath caught in his throat, forgetting all about the pain and instead drowning in the pleasure that rose like scalding steam. Ecstasy shimmered through every blood vessel in his body. Soft lips, swirling tongue, tight throat that closed in around the swollen head and pulsed, pulling him in deeper, and Jungkook could feel it, his cock twitching and getting harder, the insistent softness on the cusp of not enough, and yet so much was happening. Flexing wet muscle under the head every time she backed up, trapped in that warm sleeve, her cheeks sucking inward and drawing him deeper every time her lips pressed into his crotch, her graceful fingers fanning over his thighs and ass, stroking his tingling skin in time with her tongue.
Holy fuck.
Maybe it was dramatic that last night she saved his life by blowing his dick with such incredible skill, but Jungkook was sticking to this drama.
Wasn’t casual sex supposed to be wham, bam, thank you, next. Not, holy shit, my cock is so fucking deep in her throat I can feel her neck muscles flexing, but perhaps he had done some good deeds or this year was going to be extra prosperous in the sex front (it wasn’t a question that came up much among those elderly fortune tellers his mom visited, how odd). It had to be something like that, because how was he supposed to know the friend of a friend was going to be, one, hot, and, two, down to fuck, and, three, actually good at it?
And, four.
Readily manhandle him. But not in a threatening way. In an unafraid-to-say-and-get-what-she-wanted way. The direct, forward assertiveness was sexy as hell, but Jungkook wasn’t going to tell other people that he liked it when a woman took charge. That wasn’t exactly small talk. It didn’t come up naturally. He didn’t even tell the women he had previously slept with. It hadn’t felt like the right atmosphere. And, well, the sex was just okay. He figured he had to be careful in what he said when he wasn’t sure if they were going to be long term.
He had to cover his ass.
Speaking of.
Her fingernails sank into his ass and dragged down harshly as she tilted her head back. His throbbing cock slid down along the back of her throat, sending uncontrollable tremors up his chest and down his legs, pain and pleasure and perfection.
Jungkook slapped a hand over his mouth and let out a muffled half-scream.
She started focusing exclusively on the head, back and forth, running her tongue over it with her plush lips constricting the base, holy shit, and his eyes rolled back in his head, his hand falling, exhale thin and thinning out even more as he was reaching the end. It was too unexpectedly good, fuck, it made the muscles in his back tremble and his blood boil, o-oh, fuck, made his heart race and his calves strain with tension, I’m gonna c-cum, made his scalp tingle and his mind go blank with pleasure and he never thought an orgasm could be this intense unless he was the one getting himself off, but he was wrong, he was so fucking wrong, because he could feel the tightening in his core spiraling a bit too much and he was going to lose his fucking mind.
He gasped and screamed under his breath.
The high hit him like the sudden violent snap of elastic, so sharp that he was winded and able to feel the muscles of upper thighs spasm, shooting a rather impressive amount down her throat, almost regretful he didn’t pull out so that he could see how much it was, but none of that mattered, ensnared in wave after punishing wave of indecent, gratified lust flinching through his shaking, hard muscles as he felt his cum fill her mouth.
She swallowed.
Jungkook almost punched the wall, the oversensitivity almost painful, his hoarse voice on the verge of cracking.
“C… Careful…. P-Please…”
Those eyes flickering up, and she seemed to understand. Gently, pulling back just a little. He almost buckled at the sensation of the sucking lessening, such a good feeling but overwhelming in the afterglow, and then it was cloud-nine bliss, achingly perfect in the way she carefully slid his cock along her tongue, his twitching length gliding in the puddle of saliva and cum, repeatedly, soaring high like the moon, the thick viscosity creating a slick friction that was wicked heaven.
He wanted to say, oh, yeah, I lasted a long time after that.
He did not.
I’m in trouble.
He realized that the second she got on her knees on his bed, raised her ass, and turned her head back to smirk at him. Made direct eye contact as he tried to hide his gulp and put on the condom, keeping his hands low so she didn’t see them quiver. He was staring a bit too much, but she simply reached over and took his right hand, caressing his tattoos, and then he gasped as his fingers touched slippery wetness, looking down, and was he allowed to fall in love with a beautiful pussy at first glance or not allowed? Fuck, she even had a cute asshole. Was that too dirty to think or what?
Jungkook didn’t contemplate it too much as she slid his fingers into her, the soft, firm walls wrapping around him.
“Ready?” she hummed.
“Y- Yeah…”
In hindsight, he could have said much sexier things other than, yeah, but that was the least of his problems. Getting on his knees, sinking in, and he nearly blacked out with how good it felt. A steady controlled pulse surrounding him. Somehow, his cock became even harder, his fingers splaying out over the juicy curve of her ass, deeper, so tight, and it was all her, that cute face smiling back at him with the tip of her tongue tracing her upper lip. Naughty smirk widening, captivating foxy eyes filled with mirth shining in the darkness of his bedroom.
Jungkook didn’t even care.
He was just trying not to bust a nut at this excessive amount of sensuality that he hadn’t been prepared for.
“You look very sexy with your hair over your face like that.”
He hadn’t even noticed the strands of black covering his vision because he had been too busy looking down.
“Your back looks… oh, f-fuck… looks so beautiful…”
She grinned and lowered herself on his sheets to push back against him.
He had stuttered because her pussy had squeezed him in between his words. There wasn’t any time to be eloquent anyway, not with the sudden need surging through him at this improved angle, his grip on her hips tightening and thrusting his hips forward, wincing at how loud that smack was, surely someone outside heard, but there was nothing he could do about it, didn’t want to stop, couldn’t stop, sinking his teeth into his lower lip and trying not to add any additional noise, wanted to slow down but it felt so good when he was so deep, so tight and choking his shaft, the sensitive head of his cock rubbing against her walls and swelling. Even with the condom he felt so much, pressure and power and intensity, placing a palm on her lower back and groaning between clenched teeth, the arc of her ass so obvious and the bounce so visible that he would dream about it, all of it, the slaps of body to body, thrusting hard, rough, his ears tingling with her low, sexy moans, too good, felt too good, and he wanted to last longer but just couldn’t.
Threw his head back and yelled under his rushing exhale, straining to contain his cry in his chest.
Didn’t last much longer with a new condom and in missionary position either. He kept staring at her pretty face and perky tits, feverish desire racing with every slap of hips-to-hips, his hair falling into his eyes, struggling to see her hands clutching his pillows, and then she arched her back to give him a full view of those perfect, tasty-looking, hard nipples. Honestly, he was proud of himself for lasting the ten minutes that he did. Five minutes. Er, at least he hoped he lasted more than five minutes.
He was sweaty and gasping but he asked anyway.
“Sorry, I… Are you upset at me?”
She tilted her head, confused. “For what? That felt amazing.”
His face burned as he mumbled under his breath.
“I… I usually last longer…”
“Oh.” Blink. “Oh!” She grinned at him, and it was so devious that Jungkook realized this must not be the first time she had heard that. “I don’t care about things like that. But, uh…”
Her sex saved his life.
Her next words murdered him on the spot.
“You know, when you came, uh… I’m sure you were trying to be quiet and all that, but you sounded a bit like one of those faraway screams that happen in movies. You know, when someone gets thrown far away mid-battle. A very tiny, aaaaaaa…”
Not the best sex of his life comparing his orgasm noise to the Wilhelm scream.
-
You could admit it.
You shouldn’t have said that.
But also shouldn’t people be told of such things so that they became more self-aware? It took everything in you not to burst out laughing in his presence (although you did laugh a lot when you arrived home). And it wasn’t as if you were going to see him again. For a while, anyway. Definitely not the next day at goddamn McDonald’s.
Right?
Wrong.
You gawked at Jungkook until the other guy with him noticed and started staring at you too. Oh, jeez, it was Park Jimin, another one of the guys who had been there last night at the birthday party. You remembered him and his distinctive, bubbly giggling all night. He had a great voice too, making listening to karaoke actually bearable. He was, however, the kind of guy that wanted to be in the know about everything and everyone.
Aw, shit.
You weren’t ready for another repeat of this morning.
Jimin’s round, discerning eyes recognized you immediately even in your casual clothes and lack of makeup. You snapped your head back to your empty paper packaging. Snatched up your cup, pushing away from the window counter and stepping down, winding over to the drinks machine to top off on tea before sprinting it. Hey, McDonald’s wasn’t that cheap anymore. Inflation was a thing. Better get as much as you could before leaving.
You tossed the oily packaging and your napkin before turning around, immediately nearly colliding with Jeon Jungkook.
“Gah!”
“Oh!”
And he grabbed your waist.
Of course, he did.
Your bare waist, because you were wearing a crop top under your heavy coat.
You kept your drink-holding hand out of the way and gasped into his chin, your other hand landing on his left upper arm and squeezing, suddenly tense all over. It was hard and solid under your grip, twice as tense as you were.
“S-Sorry, Jimin pushed me…”
You vaguely heard Jungkook mumbling but you didn’t have time for this, didn’t have time to be let down again by humanity. Didn’t have time for Jeon Jungkook getting into your face about you fucking and dipping, scolding you about being too blunt, and possibly even directly calling you a bitch. Not that you didn’t deserve it. You just didn’t want to find out that cute-faced, criminally-undercover-sexy, surprisingly-a-very-good-fuck Jeon Jungkook could maybe be a shitty person.
Didn’t want to know.
Better not to know.
“S’okay. Let me get out of your way,” you mumbled back, turning your head away.
“You’re not in my way.”
You heard him say it, didn’t believe it, and yet his hands were still around your waist.
“Actually… Please be in my way.”
You froze.
Snapped your head back and found yourself centimeters from Jeon Jungkook’s face.
Oh, I’m in trouble.
He let go of you, slowly, his touch hovering as if you would make a break for it in the middle of this crowded McDonald’s, as if you would bowl over small children and their Happy Meals to escape, sending plastic toys flying in your wake. But you did no such thing, instead holding your breath, realizing how upset you would be if this was another you’re an insensitive whore moment. The truth was that you didn’t care until you did, or at least until you fully comprehended that you were glad to see Jungkook rather than completely indifferent. Why? He hadn’t said anything special. Just, please make it home safely. You had thought that was weird, please. Brushed it off as him being polite or even maybe trying to entice you with that light touch of submissiveness, anything but the possibility of him actually, honestly, straightforwardly caring about your safety.
You learned to expect people not caring for much except for themselves.
“I… Good afternoon,” you managed to get out, stepping closer as a crowd of kids squashed themselves against the drinks fountain, clambering over each other with their paper cups, yelling about how you snooze, you lose even though there was plenty of soda in a fast-food restaurant.
An adult, presumably a guardian, ran over to tell them to quiet down.
“Y… Yeah…” was Jungkook’s strangled reply, startled at you attempting conversation.
You held your sweet tea and tried to lightly bow, but realized that you could hit him in the chin if you did. You stepped aside to avoid that, and then his hand darted out. Stopping. Suddenly aware of what he was doing, stuck on what to do, looking at you helplessly for instruction. This was some love song or romcom movie shit.
No.
This was a goddamn McDonald’s, not awkward-sexual-tension meeting grounds. You grabbed his hand and pulled him along, spinning to find yourself crammed into the table with a grinning Park Jimin and too many shopping bags.
“Oh, hey. Funny seeing you here.”
Jimin was stifling his giggles.
You immediately let go of Jungkook’s hand, your face frozen and expressionless.
“Ah, Jungkook, can you watch my food?” Was it your imagination or did Park Jimin just bat his eyelashes? “I’m gonna go put the gifts in my car.”
Oh no.
“Stay right there!”
Jungkook looked mortified. “Jimin, wait–”
But he did not wait. Ruffled fluffy black hair, mischievous smile, and a whoosh later, those crinkly paper bags gone like a disappearing act, leaving you and your fuck of last night with a half-eaten sandwich and cold fries.
“I… He… I’m sorry,” Jungkook sputtered, jerking erratically.
You clutched your tea like a liquid social safety net. “Sit down. Children are staring at us.”
Sure enough, a small crowd of curious peepers were climbing the low half-wall and peering at you and Jungkook. They were being plucked off one by one by a pair of exasperated ladies who looked like they desperately needed a nap. As soon as one child was removed, another climbed up to take their place. Inquisitive little bundles in brightly colored jackets, pom-pom beanies, and sipping soda from paper cups. Jungkook whipped his head back, exposing his red ears under his bucket hat for half a second, saw the kids, and sat down beside you, turning his back to them.
Now even bigger peepers were directed at you.
“Uh…”
You cleared your throat. Drank some tea. “Erm.”
“I... I didn’t expect to see you here.”
You almost choked on your chuckle. “Yeah, uh… same.” You ticked your head to the outside, in the general direction Jimin had run off too. “Shopping for new year stuff?”
Jungkook shrugged. “Mostly for Jimin’s family. I usually shop online.” He scrunched his face with a little bit of dismay. “It’s too much on the weekends sometimes.”
“Yeah, I’m the same.”
Your knee touched his.
He looked at you.
Don’t look at me like that. I’m gonna want to kiss you.
“And we’re in the middle of a McDonald’s.”
“What?”
You could see stray strands of black brushing against his cheeks. Could see those starry brown eyes under that big bucket hat, those pink lips parted and that small mole underneath them trembling, something you had noticed last night even in the low light because you had been licking up his neck and watching his open mouth, savoring the way his whine travelled by vibration through your insistent lips from his throat.
“I don’t want to make out with you in front of all these children,” you clarified, letting out a slow, concealed breath. “But if you keep looking at me like that, I’m going to make a bad decision.”
People only get into relationships for shitty sex.
Right?
I want to be around him.
“Um… I think Jimin wanted to get an air fryer and who knows what else… I’m supposed to carry the big stuff,” Jungkook grumbled, sounding like he wanted to abandon his current adventure for a different kind of adventure. Still, he begrudgingly remained a good friend. “But tomorrow…?”
You weren’t sure if he was aware that he was getting closer to you, practically thigh-to-thigh and shoulder-to-shoulder, but then you put your hand on his coat sleeve. He froze up, holding his breath. He smelled good. Fresh and clean, like laundry from the dryer. He was close enough for you to clearly discern his scent.
Close enough for you to remember.
“I need to get my tires rotated,” you finally remembered. “I’ll call you.”
His cheeks flushed pink. “C-Call me?”
“Yeah, give me your number.”
-
She asked for it like it was easy.
Who cares? Jungkook determined, after all, that he was easy. Or at least his hands were hurriedly fumbling with his phone as he blurted out the numbers as calmly as he could, which was probably not that calm, but who cared? Not him and definitely not his dick.
“Thanks. Don’t forget to answer or I’ll feel dumb.”
“Wait, give me your number.”
She paused, glancing at him. Shivers all over when their eyes connected, and he was sure he saw a guarded flicker in those eyes, but then it was let go, her lashes lowering, casting away the unknown reservation that he hoped she could tell him one day. And yet she stayed silent, turning her phone over in her hand.
“I want it,” he breathed.
Her eyes shifted back up. Ghost of a smirk on those lips.
Like she was trying to hold back.
“I’m going to give it to you,” she whispered to him, and he had to lean in, no, wanted to lean in and the scent of her perfume caught him, sweet and smokey, all those memories flashing back, in the dark with fistfuls of his sheets and breathing in, his pillows, his blanket, his clothes, heavenly and arousing. “Just saying I come with a warning label.”
“What kind of warning?” Jungkook found himself asking even though he was desperate to indulge in this risky business.
“I’ll never let your last that long,” she purred with a smug smile. “Don’t give up, okay?”
Jungkook felt his cheeks burn as he typed down the number and kept his retort to himself because Jimin suddenly appeared and the conversation was abruptly over. He jerked his head away quickly as she mouthed a tiny aaaa under her breath, teasing him, and this was a bad decision but he answered the call anyway when it came.

What are you doing? You don’t do relationships. People don’t like the way you do things. They’re complicated and full of secrets. They can’t be honest. You’re too honest. It doesn’t work.
Your intrusive thoughts had worked the graveyard shift and were now doing overtime.
They don’t like you.
You weren’t that surprised at these thoughts. You also did the absolute most when fucking and probably not enough outside of fucking. Some would call this karma. You would call it a nuisance. Shut the fuck up, brain. You already knew all this. You knew and you muted all that sound, all that excess noise that warned of tomorrow being ruined, chose to shut it all out until there was nothing but the melody of Jeon Jungkook’s bated breath.
You could listen to your head and let those thoughts fuck everything up.
Or you could place your fingertips on Jungkook’s lower lip and feel his gasp travel through your nerves, feel the way your blood shimmered in your veins and raced faster. Caress that pink curve to stop at his lip rings, tangible, hard and soft juxtaposed. Breathe out, your eye line lifting, up, finding those large dark brown orbs surrounded by wispy black tendrils.
Jungkook wanted you.
That was pretty obvious, especially from his hands trying to slide up your skirt.
He was just waiting for you to start it off.
You could listen to your head or choose to feel and listen to your instincts, dangerous as it was.
I’m in so much trouble, fuck.
You knew it, and yet you leaned in and kissed him anyway. Something about him, the way his eyes instantly closed when you came close, the way he trusted your eyes wouldn’t stay open, the way his lips gave in to your insistence, no, yearned for it, his fingernails sinking into your hips and yanking you close, onto his lap and into his heat, and then it was darkness and tongue and breathing into his mouth, hot and unnerving and addictive.
You hadn’t even noticed you had closed your eyes until you felt your hands sliding into his hair. Barely even perceived how you held your breath when your chest pressed against his, gasping, too many clothes in between and all the anticipation, dancing your nails over his scalp and sucking on his tongue, his melodious moan melding with your heartbeat roaring in your ears.
What is this?
You rolled your hips into his lap and Jungkook groaned, breaking the kiss and tipping his head back, his hardness twitching between your legs, insistently pressing up through his sweatpants as his neck became exposed. And there was nothing you wanted to do but press your lips to that mole on his neck, tasting that tan skin and inhaling his scent, wanting to be covered in it, drenched in it, dancing kisses up his jaw and catching his ear with your teeth, tugging on his hair and rocking your hips back and forth, turning hot friction into hot, damp friction.
“I c-can’t…”
His moan rang in your ears, his fingers pushing up the sides of your panties and driving them into the crevice of your ass, creating a damn thong with too much fabric.
“Can’t t-take it anymore…”
Pulled hard and you gasped, feeling the slinky fabric slip in between your folds, soaked and soaking, strong hips knocking into that dug-in fabric and practically bouncing your pulsing pussy on his rock-hard erection.
You curled your arm around his head and tipped his face to yours, seeing his glassy eyes and open mouth, his shaking breath feathering against your chin, and if Jeon Jungkook was a liar, then he was a damn good one, one of those liars so deep in the lie that it started becoming truth.
He whispered your name in the shared air, between his and your trembling lips.
He’s too desperate to be a liar.
You closed the distance between lips and tangled your tongues in the tango, lifting your hips at the same time, smiling at his whine before silencing it by pulling his hand between your legs, pushing the thin fabric aside, and then the collective sigh. Yours, shivering satisfaction. His, driven desire, fingers exploring and sending shivers through your legs. Wet and slippery and soft. Pressing his face into your neck and then gasping when his soft lips pressed to your throat, light kisses and wanton need, his other hand sliding up your sweater, pushing it up.
I want you.
He slid two fingers into you and moaned into your skin, slow, pressing his touch into your clenching walls, his eyes closed under you. In, out, building pleasure, your hips following, riding his hand, deeper, intense, hard, his tongue licking your collarbone and your lashes fluttered, suddenly overcome by shivers.
“I w-want you…”
He gasped against your throat, almost a whimper, those pleading eyes half-opening. Pulling out slightly and rubbing slow circles that made your hips flinch, his fingertips brushing against your slick clit, and those brown eyes darkened, tipping his head back to watch your face. His fingers on your waist tightening, holding you in place, shifting his fingertips, and you bit back a hiss, locking your knees, staring back into his starstruck eyes that showed you everything he was as he stroked your clit, igniting all your nerves and scorching your skin in passionate flames.
You saw what Jungkook was saying.
He wanted you so bad, not just a little, not just for a couple orgasms, not just for every night but also every day, even every afternoon and every twilight and every dead of night. Every kiss, every touch, every look into the eyes telling you this meant more to him than casual and for some reason it didn’t feel like a burden.
Casual sex could only stay casual if both people got the memo.
Suddenly, you realized neither you nor him were getting the damn memo.
You leaned forward and breathed in his exhale, squeezing his hips with your thighs, harder, yes, so good, fast and harsh and closer, closer, pulsing sensitivity escalating, your fingers tangled into his long black hair, entangled moans slipping out, fuck, yes, I’m close, Jungkook, fuck, and he was good but this was more than skill, more than half-lidded eyes and your hand falling, tracing his jaw, biting back your orgasm until…
Until.
“I could stare at you forever,” you breathed.
Closed your eyes and moaned into his mouth, the high crashing down, leaking all over his fingers and causing his touch to slip, dripping down, everywhere, all over the front of his pants and down your legs, and there was no time to care, dragging Jungkook into kiss after kiss, driven by snaking pleasure coursing through your veins. His wet fingers grasped your thigh, kneading the softness, his whines trapped by kisses, begging for your legs against his naked chest.
How could you refuse him?
You just couldn’t.
-
I’m so fucked.
Truly, madly, deeply fucked.
Past in trouble and actually in danger, danger, you’re seconds away from cumming, clenching his jaw and grinding his teeth so he felt something else, anything, please, clutching fistfuls of his sheets and wondering why the fuck the condom wasn’t reducing any sensation because, holy fuck, his cock was trapped in a hot, slippery, tight sleeve that pulsed around his twitching, hard length every time he descended. He couldn’t think, could barely breathe, could do nothing but follow that carnal instinct to thrust over and over, deep as possible, the angle so good he closed his eyes so they didn’t roll back into his head even though he was hopelessly losing his mind at the sensations of her, so soft, so intense, so good his legs were shaking with tension, the rhythmic smacking obscenely loud, rattling bedframe echoing throughout his bedroom.
“H-Harder,” she gasped breathlessly.
Harder?!
Was she trying to kill him?
She lifted her hips and Jungkook knew he was fucked.
He threw all of his energy into his hips and sunk his teeth into his lower lip, his lip rings hitting his teeth. Metal hitting bone. Screaming in his head and tightening his vocal chords, thankful to see her eyes closing, her head tipping back, low satisfied moan of his name travelling to in his ears and then all that he was keeping together shattered and slammed into him, heat rushing and mind-numbing, euphoric high punching all the air out of his lungs, visceral tension snapping at his hips and now he was pumping the condom full, o-o-oh, fuuuuck, her walls shivering and amplifying the good feeling of sexual intoxication, his vision a blur, only now realizing all the sweat sliding down his back and forehead, his damp hair swinging down over his eyes, and maybe lasting a only a couple minutes but it was a damn good couple of minutes if Jungkook was allowed to say so himself.
He was panting, hardly able to catch his breath.
It wasn’t enough.
Fuck, he was so horny and he was barely recovering from his first orgasm. Didn’t know what came over him. A wave of insanity? Inconsolable craving? Willful sacrifice of his soul to the sex goddess in his bed right now? Dramatic, sure. Casual, no, pushing his palms against the bed, shuddering as he pulled out of that tight warmth, almost regretting it, but then he looked down. At the shiny slickness, his white cum swollen at the end of the condom. He gripped the opening and pulled down, peeling it off with a whine, and Jungkook was pretty sure he was overwhelmingly crazy or overwhelmingly horny or both, because why else would he scoot his knees up and start jacking his spent dick like a madman, whimpering at the sensitivity and the slippery friction and the scene before him – her legs lowering from his shoulders, those curious eyes glinting under him, her soft, bouncy breasts rising and falling rapidly in her heavy breathing, fuck, so sexy, so fucking sexy, faster, tighter, staring at those hard nipples he wanted in his mouth right now, so fucking bad.
He let his eyes flicker up.
Gasping, baring his depravity.
She smirked, her tongue tracing the edge of her upper lip.
“Cum on me, Jungkook.”
Words so simple that they could be said by anyone, but this was different, this was too much intensity, too much irresistible pleasure, too much too sure about this feeling, this moment, this connection, and then her fingertips slid up his hard, tense, trembling thigh, sinking her fingernails in and dragging down, those stings of pain sending him over the edge.
“A-Ah, fuck!”
His eyes rolled back and his hips pitched forward, flinching powerfully and shooting cum over her stomach, up her cleavage, sudden streak of white glistening against her skin, jolts of aching bliss penetrating his quivering muscles. Shared gasp, everything smelling like sex, his bedsheets, his clothes, his skin, mixing with her perfume. Sweet like candy and heavy like lust.
Jungkook wanted to douse himself in it.
Her cum and her perfume.
He pressed the dark, purple-red, swollen head of his twitching cock to her cum-covered stomach and moaned, dragging it across and slipping further and further into blinding oversensitivity, on the edge of too much but he liked it, fuck, he liked it more and more as he saw her sly smirk and foxy eyes sparkle, savoring his reactions. It made him want to give in to this side of him more.
Her hand lifted, fingers curling around his chin, stroking his lower lip with her thumb.
“You’re so sexy, Jungkook. I love the way you look at me.”
Something about the way she said it, making him feel that she really meant it.
No, know that she really meant what she said.
His heart fluttered. Took flight.
No.
Soared.
They really were such simple words, nothing complicated at all, and that was how Jungkook knew.
He was sure.

exceeded caution part 2
first time for everything
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
series masterlist | next part
a/n: heyy y’all!! so this is part 2 of exceeded caution. a lot of it follows the actual movie because i needed set-up for ghostface. there’s still a lot of interaction between the reader + sam & tara but some of it is from the first 30 minutes of scream vi essentially.
warnings: violence (gun usage, knife usage), cursing. he/him pronouns for ghostface. 5.8k words.
𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩
a few days ago, sam was nowhere near the forefront of your mind. you had stayed with the group as they navigated their way through accepting that ghostface might be back.
you hadn't spoken to tara much, you felt like you wouldn't be any help to her. she didn't need her ex-girlfriend that she only dated out of convenience around her constantly.
instead, the other carpenter sister started to find solace in your presence.
you found yourself over quite a bit, you noticed that they valued strength in numbers. you even all set a rotation between the group for who would cook that week.
during your week to cook, sam insisted on joining you when grocery shopping. as you promised her that she wouldn't be alone, she mentally promised you the same thing.
"it's just a simple beef stroganoff recipe, sam. you really don't have to come." you smiled sheepishly as you pulled up outside her apartment, she was hopping into your passenger seat.
"ghostface won't let a grocery store stop him from taking lives." sam was firm in her words, you sighed in defeat and drove off towards the shops that were only a couple minutes away from her place. you wanted her to feel safe still.
she pushed the cart while you took ingredients off the shelves, mumbling to yourself as you chucked them in the cart.
"tara used to say your food was amazing. where did you learn to cook?" she asked you, you looked away from your list to smile at her.
"my mom, she's amazing at cooking. she gave up her career to support my dad and become a fulltime housewife." you explained. "i used to help her cook all the time."
"that's pretty cool. i find myself never having the time for new foods. i should probably get on that."
"i can teach you some. or make some for you, i like cooking for people." you shrugged, taking another ingredient off the shelves.
sam would normally decline if you were anyone else, but she felt the urge to accept.
"sure. that would be nice." she nodded at you.
sam had enjoyed you being around more often and getting to know you outside of tara. she even found herself calling you a friend.
or rather, she tried to keep it at friend. she was trying to hide the fact that she felt a pull to you, she didn't know how to explain it. although, one thing was sure, there was an element of guilt to it.
she wasn’t the only one feeling guilty. you felt almost dirty with how much you thought of sam. because of the frequency of your contact, you found yourself wanting to see her more.
was this against some form of girl code that you shouldn’t want to hang out with your ex’s sister?
“um… how are you?” she could see that you were nervous to ask her that. “i know you probably get asked that all the time but i never ask… and i want to know.”
“that’s fine. i figured you would get curious. you always seem to be.” sam commented.
“is curiosity bad?” you teased a little, noting her phrasing.
“no! not at all.” she perked up, shaking her head.
“don’t worry sam, i’m joking.” you realised that the carpenter sisters weren’t used to bantering with someone they weren’t extremely close to— or someone they didn’t love.
“right.” she bit her lip. “but no? it’s not bad at all.” she chuckled. “but i’m… not okay?”
you nodded, respecting her answer and silently thanking her for being honest.
“i hoped that we would escape this when we moved. and i’ve been doing everything to protect tara but it didn’t end for sidney prescott— so i assume that it won’t end for us.” she scratched her brow, the stress getting to her. “i’m sorry you got involved.”
“it’s okay, sam. i knew what i was getting into when i dated tara.” you nodded. “if it happened again, i already knew i’d stick around.”
“that’s admirable.”
you felt your heart clench a little when she said that. nobody had ever told you that your desire to stick around was admirable. you always got “clingy” or “overbearing.” that was the first time you’d ever gotten a compliment on it.
“oh! um… thank you.” you stuttered out, a blush flooding your cheeks. you knew that sam meant it too, she wasn’t just saying it to make you feel better. she was genuinely saying it.
“it’s true.” it was.
you tried to push your flustered down into the depths of your mind as you struggled to reach the top shelf with the last of your ingredients. you were definitely taller than tara— everyone was. but not tall enough to face this eight layered shelf.
sam was.
sam was taller. and she made that perfectly clear when she basically pressed up behind you to grab this damn dijon mustard for you.
oh no… oh no… you had to stop those thoughts. you had turned around too quickly, basically coming chest to chest with the girl. she didn’t seem to mind— and you refused to mind.
you had never been this close to her before. your eyes trailed over all her features, taking them in. she looked just like tara… maybe that’s whats got your heart beating at the speed of light.
but she wasn’t tara. no, she was sam. and you found that to be what sealed the deal for you.
you found her pretty.
you remained silent as you finished off the last of the ingredient collection. you walked over to the self check-out, scanning the items as the blush continued to make its presence known as sam hovered.
you shuffled some things around in your pocket to try and find your card but before you knew it, sam was paying for your groceries.
“what—“ you tried to protest but the transaction had gone through already.
sam didn’t know what overcame her.
it was her way of taking care of you.
it was even her way of apologising to you.
"sam, you didn't have to do that." you shook your head at her.
"my treat, i didn't get to cook for everyone so this is my way of contributing." she shook you off. you knew that was a lie because mindy sent you a photo of meals you missed, one being sam's.
there was no undoing it now. you sighed and reached for the bags, but sam was one step ahead of you, grabbing them and walking out of the store.
you wished you could wash the blush off with soap.
𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩
when you arrived for dinner with your groceries. everyone was already at the carpenter’s apartment. they were spread out across the entire floor, conversing with each other.
you got to cooking almost immediately, knowing that everyone had potentially been there for a while. sam left your side to talk to quinn.
you kept feeling eyes on you.
the shorter carpenter sister was talking to mindy when she felt her attention turn away from her and onto you. she watched you cook, she actually always loved your cooking.
she loved when you would make a dinner catered just to her. she actually missed how lively the kitchen used to be when you were in it. you were even dancing around now, your headphones tucked over your ear.
she smiled a little at how you shook your waist to the music. everyone knew not to bother you so you could get it done quicker.
but tara wanted to bother you. she wanted to approach you and say something, anything to break the silence.
you were friends before everything went down. she thought that maybe she could at least salvage that, that would be her way to redemption.
mindy kept talking and talking before cutting herself off suddenly, realising that tara was no longer paying attention.
“tara, don’t.” mindy said, disappointment clear in her tone. “this is something you need to give time to.”
“there’s been a lot of time.” tara muttered, glaring at mindy.
“you can’t just break her heart and expect her to let you back in so quickly.” mindy held her shoulder back.
“i know it won’t be quick, but i have to try.” tara said through her teeth, pulling her shoulder out of mindy’s grasp and starting to make her way towards you.
tara stopped on her heels when she saw her sister already take your attention. she thought that she’d better not interrupt you.
“whatcha listening to?” sam asked you, her arms crossed over her chest.
you pulled your headphones back a little.
“sloppy jane.” you said.
“sloppy jane? what kind of name is that?!” sam laughed.
“she’s cool! i promise!” you raised your hands up in defense. you took your headphones off your head, you gently placed them on sam. your hands nicking strands of her long hair before you pulled them away.
she held eye contact with her as her head bobbed to the music, you matched the bobbing, knowing which part of the song she was on.
a smile formed on her face while you two were in sync. your eyes started to crinkle up with a smile as your hair started getting in your face when you headbanged. she joined you until the kitchen was filled with laughter.
“okay… okay. i see it now. she has a good sound.” sam agreed with you, placing the headphones back on you but leaving an ear open.
“thank you.” you chuckled, moving the beef strips into the bowl you intended to serve it in.
“this smells soooo good.” sam practically moaned out, you laughed at the noise she made.
“well, you’re gonna have to wait like everyone else!” you teased.
she groaned and rolled her eyes. you liked seeing her loosen up a bit more, you were grateful she was getting more comfortable around you.
as you two laughed, tara stared on.
she remembered when she was in sam’s place. she even felt herself grow jealous at her sister. why did she ever think that what she was doing to you was okay? your heart was gold and tara thought she had turned it dark— she realised your golden heart’s integrity never faltered. you were still just as good.
she was cruel and she broke your heart. she didn’t think she would regret it— until she suddenly felt all that guilt wash over her. was she regretting it?
you enlisted sam to help you bring all your dishes to the table.
“beef stroganoff, pasta, and rice. choose your carb to go with it and enjoy!” you presented your meal to the group.
everyone admired your work and sat down at the table. you ended up sitting beside mindy who talked your ear off about some pottery class that she and anika took.
you glanced over at sam first, her eyes meeting yours during her conversation with ethan. you two exchanged heartfelt smiles, you had a good day because of each other.
then you looked at tara, who was already looking at you. her first serving was practically gone. you knew that she loved one thing about you, and it was your cooking. she held a sadness behind those eyes, you saw into it, but you had your doubts that it was sadness.
when you noticed her plate, you felt yourself flash her a smile too. she returned it, it was shy but still genuine. her plate was cleaned up just seconds after everyone served themselves.
crumbs of you, tara would take. she cherished that smile you gave to her, even if it was forced or accidental. it filled her brain.
𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩
washing up had to be done, you wanted do it yourself, saying how you were on a roll from cooking that you wanted to do the cleaning too.
sam was about to speak up but suddenly, tara found her voice.
“i’ll help!” she said, chirping up. everyone looked at her with confusion. they didn’t expect that she would do that for you.
“oh… okay!” you said, making your way over to the kitchen.
you scrubbed the plates and handed them to her to dry. it was a good system that worked.
“you did well with dinner today. your cooking is always good.” tara smiled at you.
“thank you, tara. i appreciate it.” your lips pressed into a thin line.
“i just wanted to say that.” she put the plates onto the drying rack. “we haven’t spoken in a while.”
“i know. i just wanted to give you space. i felt like i wasn’t much help to you ever. and i felt like i wouldn’t be much help now.” you confessed. “but i want to stick around, i would be a pretty shit person if i didn’t.”
she felt horrible that you thought that you wouldn’t be help. in fact, there were some nights that tara found herself longing for you.
“we were friends before this, do you think we’d be able to get back to that?” she asked, searching your face for hope. but all she saw was doubt.
“maybe, tara.” you turned to her, handing her the last of the dishes. you saw the dejected look on her face and sighed. you wanted to go back to that too, you missed the tara that was a good friend to you. “but we can try.”
tara’s face lit up, a bit of shock also hidden between the lines. “okay! yeah… let’s try.” she put the dish away and held her hand out, you chuckled but you shook it.
what you failed to see was your maybe friend’s sister staring at you both from the living room, her jaw tightened as tara touched you.
sam zoned back into the conversation, realising that the show they were watching was long gone and replaced by the news again.
there was another death.
sam erupted in her anger, suddenly storming into the kitchen, grabbing the sharpest knife that she owned.
you had no idea what just happened, tara followed her sister back to the living room, the commotion having everyone sit up.
“sam! slow down!” tara yelled after her sister, you joined them after putting the dishes away. “can we please think about this before you decide to abandon my college education?!”
you couldn’t blame sam for wanting to leave. this was something that she just wanted to escape. as much as you would be upset, you would understand. you’d help, even.
you would help them pack up if it meant they were away from everything. you were prepared to never speak of the carpenter sisters again, in hopes that they would never have to go through this again.
“this can’t just be a coincidence, tara!” sam yelled back at her. today was the day where you saw the genetic stubbornness displayed by the carpenter sisters.
“quinn, can you please call your dad?!” tara asked their roommate, quinn immediately nodded. you could tell she didn’t want to get yelled at by sam but it was a reasonable point of action.
ring!!!
everyone flinched. you didn’t. it was just a phone ringing to you, but to everyone else, it was so much more.
sam’s phone blared on the table, she walked over only to see that it was gale weathers, she declined the call without a doubt.
you watched as quinn travelled across the room, telling sam that her father wanted to speak to her. you heard the muffled voice of mr. bailey from where you were standing.
“okay, thank you. i’ll be right there.” sam hung up. “he wants me down at the station.”
“i’ll drive you.” you said, grabbing your keys. “i live close to the station.”
“you shouldn’t have to—“ you cut sam off.
“no. i will. no man left behind, remember?” you said, firm in your decision. sam sighed but nodded.
𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩
you, sam, and tara made it out the door and started to walk to your car.
suddenly, sam’s phone rang again. the two girls stopped when they saw the name displayed on the screen.
richie kirsch.
richie? you recognized that name. you huddled closer to the sisters, closing your eyes to rack your memory for where you knew that name.
no. wait.
it couldn’t be. he was dead, wasn’t he?
“don’t pick that up.” tara said, looking up at sam.
sam hesitated, but it could be important. these calls were life or death for them. she picked up.
you looked at your surroundings. you suddenly felt so exposed, like anything could happen to you now that you weren’t in the comforts of your own home— or anyone’s home.
“who is this?” sam asked into the phone. you couldn’t hear the responses, only sam’s facial expressions changing as time went on.
her eyebrows furrowed, her eyes changed. you saw woodsboro glaze her pupils, you knew she was thinking back to her life before the city. everything was resurfacing.
“i want you to think long and hard about whether or not you wanna do this because the last two people that fucked with us ended up dead.” she said, planting her feet down with determination.
your eyes started to tear away from sam, not absorbing the conversation.
bad gut feeling.
you had to stop ignoring those.
“you better watch your back, asshole.” sam said.
and tara yelled.
a cloaked figure sporting a ghostface mask suddenly grabbed tara, you sprung into action. tara elbowed the figure and you shoved him into the bike rack.
“go!” you said, running just behind the two sisters.
“there!” sam redirected you into a little corner store. you stood with your front to the door while the girls yelled at the cashier to help them, starting a fight with someone in line.
suddenly ghostface walked in.
you backed up into sam, pushing her backwards a little bit while one of the customers stood tall in front of the infamous killer.
you watched as ghostface drove their knife into the man, multiple times.
you gasped, your hand flying to your mouth. you had never seen anyone get killed before. you thought ghostface had specific targets, this wasn’t just an ordinary killer, this killer wasn’t afraid to take any life that stood in his way.
you turned around and the three of you flooded into the back of the store as the clerk wielded his gun.
when the first gunshot rang, sam’s arm flew to cover you as chips flew everywhere. tara was crouched just beside the two of you.
suddenly, there was a second gunshot. but only after you heard the clerk start begging for his life.
you tried to stay quiet, you didn’t realise where parts of your body were. you had a hand on sam’s abdomen, bunching her shirt into your fist. you were terrified, you had never gone through this before. you couldn’t imagine what sam & tara were feeling.
you couldn’t move— or else he would know where you were.
the corner store was quiet, it was like a cruel game of cat and mouse. you heard crunching as the sound of boots got closer to you.
all three of you rounded the corner to avoid detection. sam hid behind a freezer while you and tara hid behind the shelving. you saw sam’s eyes flicker to a can on the ground and you knew what she was trying to say.
carefully, you reached out and picked the can off the floor. it was disgusting and sticky. was this what they had to result to when defending themselves? putting themselves in disgusting situations? you felt twisted picturing them going through this once— now twice.
you threw the can across the corner store, hearing boots walk in the other direction. it was a successful distraction. the three of you started crawling towards the exit.
when you heard the boots stop moving again, you paused. sam leaned forward, you could tell that she could see a lot clearer than you. she slowly inched towards the shelving, then she suddenly shoved it with her shoulder, knocking it down.
god, she was strong.
had she been training herself to get stronger? in case this happened again?
the three of you hauled ass to the exit, being met with cop cars and their sirens.
the three of you were escorted into the cars. the sisters rode in one while you went in the other. you fidgeted with your fingers. then it was daunting on you.
baby’s first ghostface attack.
𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩
you sat in an interrogation room at the precinct. the walls were closing in on you.
you had been close to death before. you remember when you and your parents got into that gnarly car accident that had you coming out with several broken bones and whiplash. you cradled your arm, feeling the after-effects of the worst injury you sustained.
but this wasn't a car t-boning yours. this was a killer.
and you felt like death was kissing your cheek.
you didn't know where sam and tara were, you assumed a different interrogation room. you were waiting for ages, you thought that maybe someone was attending to them first.
you sat in silence for about ten more minutes, trying to decompress the situation.
the lock clicked and the door swung open, revealing detective bailey. you had met quinn's dad in passing, never really speaking to him.
"mr. bailey. how are you?" you asked him, sitting up in your chair. you noticed he had files in his hand. this was going to take longer than you wanted.
"i'm good. thank you... how are you doing? you weren't around for woodsboro, i'm sure it's a bit of a shock to be involved now." straight into it.
"a bit is an understatement, sir." you let out a dry chuckle. "i'm assuming you're going to be asking me more than just 'how are you' though..."
"i'm sorry. i know you're probably tired." he sighed, you nodded. you were trying to hold back a yawn.
"it's fine."
he sat down across from you, opening the file and putting its contents in front of you.
"you're the newest addition to the group, quinn has talked about you. i know you and tara had a past relationship. were you frequently in and out of their apartment?" he asked.
"yeah... tara and i were together for a bit. i usually visited her and i also hang out with mindy and chad, so yes, i was frequently at theirs." you nodded, you often found that honesty was the best policy with these things.
"i know that your relationship with her ended badly." he stated, you scoffed.
"surely a bad break-up isn't enough motivation to go on these killing sprees, right?" you asked, a bit offended.
"sometimes it might just be."
"did you have access to sam carpenter's belongings?" he followed up. what did sam's stuff have to do with this?
"um... no. not really. i never really interacted with sam until ghostface was rumored to resurface. and even then, i don't really have that access." you crossed your arms across your chest, your eyes scanning the photos on the desk. you spotted a photo of sam's license, bloodied and dumped at the scene of the crime.
someone was trying to frame her.
"we found sam's license next to the body."
"well she was with me all day. we went grocery shopping and i cooked everyone dinner." you quickly jumped at the chance to defend her. "tara was there too."
mr. bailey nodded at you confirming their alibi.
"sam said the same thing." he reassured you. he leaned in a bit closer to you. "although, i'd be cautious about those sisters. especially sam. i wouldn't get too close."
your brows furrowed in frustration.
"i'm sure i have nothing to worry about. they're good people." you didn't want to speak any further on the matter.
you hated that the thought of either of them being responsible for these deaths even crossed the detective's mind. he was supposed to be helping them.
two knocks against the door turned the detective's attention to another officer walking into the room.
"the fbi is here." the officer said. detective bailey looked confused.
"the fbi? where?" he stood up then turned to you. "you're free to go. i think sam and tara are waiting for you."
you stood from your seat and followed him, making your way over to the two dark-haired sisters. tara was the first to spot you, nudging sam until she turned around.
you sped up, you didn't know what it was. you just had to make sure she was real.
you wrapped your arms around sam. you felt her tense up out of shock but return the gesture.
"i'm sorry." you apologised for the sudden hug.
"it's okay." sam smiled warmly.
you turned to tara and put a hand on her shoulder, squeezing softly.
tara's eyes met yours. those pleading doe eyes, they wanted more than just a squeeze on the shoulder. she wished she was sam in that moment.
"i'm really glad you two are okay." you cleared your throat. sam smiled at you, even if it was forced, it was nice to see.
you heard two voices chatting just a little bit aways from you. sam started moving towards them, you and tara followed behind.
"kirby?" she spoke, getting the attention of a blonde woman.
"hey sam." kirby replied, moving to hug sam as well.
"do you know each other?" bailey asked.
"yeah... we went to woodsboro high together. she was a senior when i was a freshman." sam clarified. you studied the woman in front of you.
all you could say was that she looked cool. she was an fbi agent that had been monitoring the sisters for a little while. you realised that this had been the kirby involved with the killings too. they shared a very unique experience between each other.
you stayed behind sam while they conversed. kirby was handed the mask that was left at the scene. the mask used in the 2011 killings. kirby lifted her shirt to show the scar that charlie walker gave her.
sam looked uncomfortable. she realised then that this was bigger than just a killing spree, they were trying to send a message.
kirby proposed you all worked together but sam interjected, not giving her the chance to finish.
"we're getting out of town." she pushed through kirby and detective bailey.
"i'm sorry, that's not possible. you're both persons of interest. all three of you are." bailey warned.
"are you serious?" tara stepped forward, the growing frustration evident in her voice.
"he's right." kirby confirmed. "but if we work together-"
"we're going." sam basically barked an order at you and tara.
"my car's back at your place." you said. sam nodded. a small part of her brain was happy that you would be around after that.
𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩 𓆪𓆩
when the three of you made your way out of the precinct, you had never seen so many cameras before. reporters swarmed the three of you, immediately asking sam questions like if she had an alibi or if tara felt safe with her sister.
they didn't pay you any mind, how could they? you were fresh meat to the group, they didn't care about your story. luckily, it allowed you to mercilessly shove them back, helping make space for sam and tara to walk through the flood.
you found yourself holding onto sam's waist, pulling her towards the open spots you've created with your body pushing against the reporters.
"gale weathers." a voice sounded out in the crowd, causing the sisters to stop in their tracks. you knew that name too, it felt like an endless revision on who was who, if you had studied well enough. "do you ladies think that you're the reason that the ghostface killer has come to the big apple?" she asked.
you saw it in sam. she snapped. she'd had a long night, she nearly lost her life. she nearly lost her sister. and her... friend.
she swung with her fist out.
"sam!" you exclaimed as gale ducked, avoiding the punch. you pulled sam's waist back, you knew she didn't need another video of her going viral. she put her hands over yours, allowing you to hold her back. you had to admit, it felt nice knowing you had a bit of pull on her.
although, you failed to account for the shorter carpenter sister. you failed to catch her pulling her elbow back and swinging at gale with a force of her own.
you jumped at the noise made by the contact and had to hold back a laugh at gale's shocked face. sam cracked a smile, she couldn't help herself.
"stay away from us." tara spat at gale.
you two turned to walk towards a cab that was parked outside the station. you pushed sam slightly by her waist, hoping she wouldn't turn back around.
but gale weathers just had to say something.
"are you two seriously still mad about what happened?"
"you wrote a book. about them." she didn't expect you to say anything. she didn't know who you were or what you were to the carpenters. she looked at you as if you were irrelevant, like another body that ghostface could dispose of just to raise the numbers.
"and who are you?" she asked, a snark in her voice.
"doesn't matter. you took advantage of them. of the fact that they lost their friends, they nearly lost each other." you shook your head. "i remember you, from tara's stories."
tara watched you fight back. how could you still do that after she hurt you? you were full of surprises. she had never seen your tongue so laced with venom before.
"you lost someone too. dewey... if someone kept shoving that down your throat, how would you feel?" you asked, glaring her way as sam and tara entered the cab. gale's stance shifted, she was uncomfortable with a stranger knowing so much information about her personal life. but then again, she put the carpenter sisters' life out there for the whole world to see.
"i remember your book too. you called sam unstable, you painted her in the worst light possible. and i thought you had been through enough with her to know that that's not true." you turned back to the two girls, opening the door to the back of the cab for them.
sam's face was unreadable as she hopped into the car. she stared at the back of your head, or more like the back of your seat. you stood up for her, breaking your kind and golden-hearted demeanour. she was worried that being in this situation would change you for the worst.
you sat in silence after telling the driver where to go. leaning back into your seat, you tried to keep your eyes open. you hadn't gotten any sleep since last night, your time divided between the carpenter residence and the station.
there was so little to say and yet so many words were jumbled in your brain.
when you arrived at the carpenter's apartment, you yawned as you exited the cab. sam caught you do so and stopped you before you could unlock your car. her hand covered yours, gripping it in her own.
"you should rest here for a little bit. you're too tired to drive." she said, looking down at you. you wanted to get home and sleep in your own bed but you knew she was right.
you put your car keys away and walked upstairs with them.
tara immediately made a beeline for the bathroom. she always showered after coming home, she couldn't go a day without smelling like vanilla.
sam put pillows and blankets down on their couch and walked into her room, coming back out with some clothes.
"you can change into these for now, you might as well make yourself comfortable. and you can sleep for as long as you want." she said, you took the clothes and nodded at her.
she sat down on the couch and pulled the blanket up slightly to cover herself, you grabbed the blanket to stop her.
"what are you doing? i'll take the couch." you said, furrowing your brows.
"no. you'll take my bed." she looked up at you from the couch.
"it's your damn bed, sam." you didn't mean to sound so ill-mannered but the tiredness was getting the best of you.
"i know. so i'll do with it as i please." you know it was just her trying to show that she cared. "so you're taking it."
you sighed sharply, you were about to take a massive risk.
"share it with me." you said, holding your ground. you didn't want to kick sam out of her own bed.
she saw the determination on your face. you two were going to sit here and bicker if she didn't give in now. she nodded, standing up and making her way back to her room.
you changed into sam's clothes, her scent wafting as the shirt fell over your figure. then you cracked the door open enough to slip yourself into her room.
just as you entered sam's room, tara came out of the bathroom. she had the look of a shattered woman on her face, you should have been going into her room. she should have offered first.
you shut the door behind you, walking towards the bed where sam was sitting. you spotted her nursing her hand, spotting a deep cut from crawling on glass at the bodega.
"sam, you should've gotten that taken care of." you scolded her a little, walking to her bathroom and grabbing a medkit you knew was there. tara had told you that she put one in every bathroom.
you knelt in front of sam, unpacking the kit to grab the antiseptic and a bandage.
"it's fine, it's only a cut." she protested.
"if ghostface doesn't get you, an infected cut will. and i think that's extremely embarrassing." you tried to make light of it, your exhaustion washing over you. "this'll hurt."
you dabbed the antiseptic into sam's cut. she hissed at the sting. but the sight in front of her was better. you, in her clothes, patching her up. this was probably the worst time for her to form a crush, and probably the worst person to form it on. her sister's ex-girlfriend, who was now involved in the ghostface killings. but your soft features, your concern for her, it was hard to resist you.
she chalked it up to exhaustion, maybe this crush would fade away when she was in her right mind.
but when you situated yourself next to her in bed, your respectful nature forcing you to leave ample space so you two weren't touching each other, she hoped that she would one day earn the honour of closing that gap.
as she closed her eyes, she listened in to your soft breathing. and even when you accidentally ended up shoulder to shoulder in bed,
sam refused to move.

author's journal okay i actually spent way too much time on this chapter, i had to write out the first 30 minutes of scream vi with a reader insert so it was a little bit more cohesive with the storyline. i don't know how i feel about this one chapter in particular but i'm starting to see the vision for the rest of the series teehee. i promise it wont just be the whole movie written down but it'll definitely have canon events. next chapter is most likely going to be non-canon as much as possible just cause this is a romance fic at the end of the day.
also this is the song i intended for the reader to be listening to with sam

Piwon reaction to you wearing something short pretty plz
⋆ Y. Keeho
His facial expressions speak more than his mouth does, you know he’s questioning your decision as soon as you step into view, I mean fuck- you could almost hear his voice in your ear asking “sure that’s what you wanna wear?” as he takes a minute to take you in, his phone forgotten and his demeanour shifting right under your eyes. Knows it’s not his place to tell you to change, it’s just.. do you have to look as hot as you do? Loves on you, hands everywhere, showering you in compliments. He doesn’t mind, he’ll just have to remember to make sure you’re enjoying your time out unbothered.
⋆ C. Taeyang
Giggly giddy, has the sweetest grin on his face when you give in to the little spin he requested of. Becomes a little shy by the way you show off to him, listens attentively as you explain the idea you had for the outfit, nodding along as his eyes run up and down a plethora of times, he’s just quite literally at a loss for words. He can tell you that you look good all he wants but it would still leave him feeling a little unfulfilled on your behalf, is very touchy instead, telling you that you should wear clothes like this more often, that he’d do anything to see you like this again.
⋆ C. Jiung
Has to say something, needs to but there’s no way he could without embarrassing himself. How could he even put it into words? Something about how revealing it is, but he doesn’t want you to think he’s shaming you, he likes it, he really does! He just wishes everyone could admire you in a more… platonic light. Possessive Jiung is such a dizzying thought, and I’ll entertain it every chance I get. The most likely to put his jacket/sweater over you with a hasty excuse that doesn’t quite add up when you think of it for too long, but it’s enough to convince you that, yk what? Maybe it is kind of chilly out.
⋆ H. Intak
Shameless. Absolutely shameless, but not in the way you’d think, Intak does not care if anyone in the area is actively watching him struggle to keep the damn skirt you chose to wear from inching further up your waist, he’ll continue to keep tugging it down. At first he didn’t pay it much mind when you came skipping out, presenting to him the outfit you’d be wearing out, he honestly thought it was really nicely put together but now he has personal beef with the thing, you can tell by how harsh he’s yanking it back down to cover your ass every few minutes and the fleeting complaints he’s muttering about to himself.
⋆ H. Shota
Eyes you up silently, and inevitably he’s getting his hands on whatever bare skin you have revealed because it doesn’t completely register that you have on something so tiny in front of him. Will ask when you got it, why he hasn’t seen it yet, why you chose today out of all days to wear it, he’s literally full of 101 questions. The type to pull up your shirt whenever you’re standing still, doesn’t care if someone else can see the way his fingers slip under the hem of the fabric and against the soft skin of your chest so he can tug it up. Keeps a close eye on you the whole time to make sure nothing ever shifts out of place :b
⋆ K. Jongseob
So sweet, won’t say a thing directly to you about your choice of bottoms, instead he’s incredibly, extremely, like hyper aware of your surroundings to make sure no one’s looking at you oddly or seeing something they shouldn’t. Reassures you that you look good even if it’s a quick flicker of uncertainty in your face, nods silently with a close lipped smile that reaches under his eyes, “It’s nice, you look really nice. Don’t worry about it baby.” ASJAGAH.

question of the day: who would fall the hardest if they ever fell in love?
well... i've got 4 candidates in mind, and i think... (1/4)
Tumblr media
miles g. morales — guilty of falling hard for you.
summary: miles morales always struck you as an apathetic guy, one who wouldn't particularly take relationships too seriously; until you both fell for each other, you realized... he did indeed fall for you, but he fell hard, way, way too hard for you. pairing: miles 42 x gn!reader genre: fluff !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
miles g. morales was, to you, such a cold, apathetic guy who always looked calm and composed in everything he did. he seemed like a guy that, you believed, wouldn't care too much if he was in a relationship–that he would put himself before his significant other; though you didn't have any evidence to back it up, save for how distant he seemed to you at first. but oh, were you wrong.
miles g. morales wasn't really all that insensitive as you thought when you got to know him, in fact–he was more sensitive to your thoughts, needs, and wants more than any other boy had ever been for you. it took a while, but the longer you spent around him, the more obvious was the fact that he truly, truly cared about you, from the bottom of his heart.
miles g. morales was the boy who'd stay after class, waiting for your class to finish so he could meet up with you and just be around you. ask him to explain why he's always risking his ass getting scolded for loitering outside your classroom, he can't give you one straight answer. "we had free time", "i had no where else to go", "i... left a pencil in that classroom. yeah."
miles g. morales would never admit to your face that he does indeed stare at you sometimes when you're not looking. whenever he sits close to you in class, be it behind, next to, or diagonally across to you–he always finds every angle of you to be a perfect angle to stare at and admire. don't be mad that he's looking, though, he can't help himself; you're way too mesmerizing for him to handle.
miles g. morales whose sketchpad gradually became a book full of... you in it. it started off as simple, small doodles of you; little cartoony you's that he found adorable and kept drawing when he wasn't focusing on anything else. but as time went by, he found himself focusing on you and your features more and more, almost as if he couldn't rip his gaze away from you.
miles g. morales had also noticed that whenever you speak, he hangs on to every word you say. he thought it would've creeped you out at first, how he can remember all the little details you'd tell him when you're telling him about something that happened in your day or how he remembers all the names of your pets, friends, favorite restaurants, favorite bands and artists–he hangs on to every word you utter, and he can't help it; your voice is just too tantalizingly sweet and attractive that he can't not listen to every word you speak.
miles g. morales was the boy who would use his intimidating appearance to his advantage and defend you against assholes who wouldn't take 'no' from you for an answer. he'd stare them down and glare at them, remind them for you that you said 'no', and if they didn't get the message the first time... they'll have to get through him to get to you. "i'm not gonna back down just because they're bigger than me, because i don't fear them. i don't fear them because, for all their brawn, they sure don't have any brains. and whatever happens after, i'll make sure you don't get in trouble; i'll shoulder the fault. i'd do this for you, every time."
miles g. morales would never wish to get in trouble or have beef with anyone else, but if it was you that others were bothering, then he'd willingly do everything he can to keep you safe and unbothered. he doesn't care what happens to him, so long as you stay safe, so long as it isn't your face being beaten in. you insist he shouldn't do these things for you, but... he can't help it. to picture you in danger makes his heart feel heavy; to get rid of that heaviness, he does these things for you, because he... he loves you.
miles g. morales doesn't dream at night, or at least didn't dream for a long while–or maybe he did and just forgets what he dreamt of the previous night–but when you two became much closer friends, he began to see glimpses and images of you in his dreams. in his wildest dreams, he was able to tell you in all kinds of scenarios that he felt weird around you–a good kind of weird. he'd feel a kind of warmth in his chest, accompanied by the pitter-pattering of his heart when your eyes lock with his, and he feels this urge in the corners of his lips to smile widely when you smile up at him. and, he'd never tell you this, but... in those dreams, he'd tell you how he really feels, and you'd teach him how to handle those feelings by placing your hands on either sides of his cheeks and pulling him close to your face–your nose feeling so soft against his own when your noses brush together–and with the feeling of your hot breath against his own lips... he wakes up.
miles g. morales wakes up to the reality that you probably only see him as a very good friend, a friend you used to think wouldn't care about those who love him but was proven very, very wrong. the friendship bracelet you made for him sits there by his nightstand, next to a cutely frame photo of the two of you at your birthday party. you designed that photo frame for him, and despite how a guy like him probably wouldn't care for cute things... he finds comfort and solace in a bit of cuteness in his life; he just wishes he could express that to you, you, who is cuteness personified. he wears that friendship bracelet every day–and wears it proudly. he doesn't hide it under his sleeve nor tuck it away when you're not looking; he's always got it on and shows it off by just having it on him. he loves having mementos of you on him, it gives him a feeling he hasn't had in a long time... and he hopes that, by some miracle, you'd feel that feeling for him, too.

CAMPING WITH... SOFTWILLY
softwilly x gn!reader (sfw + nsfw) heavily inspired by the group camping video series: isaac tanner yumi larry MINORS DNI
Tumblr media
It's 50/50 whether you asked him to go camping or if it was him, he enjoys the outdoors but he can be lazy. He's more likely to ask to go to the gym together.
Nick tries his best to pack what you'll need but expect to end up with 6 bags of hot cheetos in both of your bags and some bug spray.
Definitely vlogging the experience.
Lots of protein bars, beef jerky, all the stuff to keep his protein count up. Lots of hot dogs.
If you want to try to do "real" camping, don't expect for it to work out. Expect a rehash of the DoorDash pizza incident.
When he's bored, he either does nothing and sits around or he gets strangely productive.
"Nick, baby, why are you running three miles?" "I'm bored!"
But what he won't do is put up a tent solo. If you can somehow get him to try, do not expect it to go well.
Will be more concerned with finding the biggest rock to pick up and use as a mallet than getting the hooks in the ground at all.
Asks for you to take photos of him. A photoshoot of Nick with the sunset is mandatory. He will try to make his muscles look good.
He gets so hungry so fast. It's a joint effort trying to cook up the hotdogs, unfortunately half of them either end up completely blackened or in the fire itself.
He does a great job trying to make sure your food looks good and makes sure you get the best one, though. It's the little things.
He wants to stargaze. Once it's dark and you've eaten, you lay out on a blanket and watch the stars.
He's always got an arm around you, holding you as the air turns colder and trying to keep you warm.
If anyone else comes around the camp, he acts strangely macho and protective of you until they leave. He looks like a guard dog.
When you and Nick are finally worn out from the day, you climb into your tent and he holds you close.
You slip into sleep but wake up when you're cold and notice Nick has turned away from you, and he's breathing hard.
Turns out, he got really hard as you were falling asleep and was trying to take care of it himself.
That just wouldn't do. In an instant, clothes were off and you were on your hands and knees taking him.
Nick is also rough. He likes hearing you loud, and he will get results. If there's any campers nearby, they know his name.
It's a quicker fuck, given he was already half there by the time you caught him, but you finished twice over before he did.
You finally do go back to bed a mess and one of Nick's arms around you. He doesn't cling to you, but that's only because he's overheated from all the work he puts in.
You wake up first to him rutting against you in the morning. Round two continued from last night ensues.
It's slower, but that's only because he's still waking up.
You stay in the tent for a while cooling off before finally getting up around eleven, but that's only because Nick just wants to go home. Both of you miss AC and chilling at your computers.
He's much more efficient packing the camp up than he was setting it up. When he puts his mind to it, Nick will get results.
You're home by noon. You take half an hour to chill in Nick's bed before he's wanting to lay on the couch watching anime and order food.
Camping is a somewhat success.

okay y’all hear me out… alastor, Lucifer, and Adam and their s/o meeting their fandom personas
alastor x reader x cursed cat alastor
Tumblr media
Yn: “Al look at what I found! Isn’t he the cutest 😍”
alastor: “what is the world is that? 😃”
is genuinely confused on what and where it came from all he knows is that it hates him and everyone else except yn
Yn once putted a bow tie on him and looked like he loved it by this smile seeming genuinely yet when his bow tie was coming undone he would hiss and scratch at anyone who tried to fix it and only allowed yn to fix it
had a tendency to bring gifts for yn like nice and one time a ENTIRE deer carcass but after seeing she would throw it away he started to bring started bringing stuff like Freshly pulled out of the ground flowers, sometimes jewelry, and one time a cute hat
as for alastor he does not like the thing
he hates how the thing will always try to get in the way when he tries to do anything with yn like when it’s early in the morning and he wants to enjoy the peaceful moment with you he will just show up somehow in the room cuddling you, when he tries to give you a kiss on the cheek the will but bring your attention to him instead, and onetime he tried locking the door to get some quality time alone together and keep him out, THE CAT NEARLY BROKE DOWN THE WHOLE DOOR!!! The only time they got along was when they were protecting yn and when they both showed dislike for Susan
then one day a cat version of yn showed up also out of no where and immediately Cat Alastor stopped beefing with regular alastor because now both have their own yn
although yn was sad cat alastor wasn’t hanging out with her as much anymore she was happy and hopefully she can finally enjoy some peace of mind knowing they were not fighting anymore
lets just say a few months later there would be some kittens and they become permanent residents because cat alastor would bite who every tried to touch the kittens and his yn 😅
Lucifer x reader x cursed cat Lucifer
Tumblr media
Out of all three he is the one who is actually loving meeting their fandom persona
“OMG HE IS AS CUTE AS KIKI! 🥹”
Lucifer gets even more excited see he too has a appreciation for ducks
let’s kitty Lucifer sleep with any of his ducks (except the Lilith one which he hides)
Kitty Lucifer loves yn almost as much as regular version of him
Like cat alastor he lives little gifts for yn except they usually come some with ducks mostly rubber ducks
however it is a bit of a hassle sometimes with him having wings where as when it’s time for a bath we will try to fly away but will get in the bath willing it there are some rubber ducks
when a yn cat showed up Lucifer was excited but not as much as his feline counterpart who acted like they were husband and wife and he missed his wife dearly
Kitty Lucifer was latter found being groomed by cat yn who was licking him clean and the too we’re sharing kitten kisses with kitty Lucifer having a completely smitten look 🥰
Adam x reader x squished/tiny Adam
Tumblr media
Adam: “THIS LITTLE SHIT STOLE AND ATE ONE OF MY RIBS?!?! We need to get rid of it!”
yn: “oh come how Adam he is like you so he too likes ribs”
tiny Adam will often ask for cuddles and I imagine he is about as the same size as the cats so when cuddling he is pressed against yns boobs so tiny Adam will smirk at Adam making him jealous and flip regular Adam off while yn Isn’t looking
tiny Adam will also sleep on top of or cuddle yn while she sleeps so sometimes he just likes hanging out in her between her boobs
will often try to steal things like food, phones, jewelry to try and make him look cooler, and one time he has been caught stealing yns bra but was stopped easily due to how small he is
Will basically always come between the two of you when you tried to do anything romantic
not sure if he is wearing a mask like Adam or if that is his actual face due to always fighting anyone who tried to check
once Adam realized how he is able to get away with stuff they suddenly become good friends and caused a lot of mischief
I don’t know why but I imagine tiny Adam would also try to sing songs like hell is forever but it ends up sounding a lot cutter due to how high his voice is or he ends up squeaking instead
one day a tiny yn showed up and Adam finally understand why yn loved tiny Adam so much. ITS LIKE HAVING A TINY VERSION OF HER HE CAN TAKE AROUND WITH HIM WHEREVER HE GOES!! ITS SO FREAKING CUTE!! 🥹
tiny Adam then started started liking tiny yn and to regular Adam and yn it was like watching how they fell in love
ps these are not my art please don’t get after me I am just using these for illustrations on what they look like I am not claiming ownership and I hope you enjoyed 😁

Kept reading your chess wizard and herman series, I'm so hyperfixated on it so much like it's so good
But what if herman saw chess wizard playing chess with albert, like albert also become infatuated with the chess wizard cause he hated how he Lose but also loves a challenge and herman is just there having beef with albert
Okay but like-
This is somehow worse than typical 'cheating' for the Doctor.
You're playing chess?? With another man?! Scandalous!
Really, how could you do this to him?!
It shouldn't have come as a surprise, really. Of course Albert Wesker was a chess nerd too. He's got enough poise to keep anyone (including you) guessing and he provided you with some much needed challenge.
Though you conquered him soon enough.
And that left him both a little stunned, a little pissed and more than a little intrigued by you.
Wesker was made to be perfect, both physically and mentally. It's extraordinarily rare for him to find anything worthy of his attention, nothing more than a passing glance, but you have managed to stump him and had him actually using his mind for what feels the the first time in an entire lifetime. He can't play haphazardly in your presence. Even if his poker face is impeccable, he can't bluff his way to victory. Not with you. Wesker truly needs to work for a win and still, after a handful of chess matches, he still hasn't won against you.
Infuriating but a little arousing...
You don't know how the Doctor figured out you found a new chess buddy, but damn was he pissed. He didn't say much but the crackles of electricity and the hateful glare he threw your way told you everything you needed to know.
If he could speak properly, he'd call you a dirty little cheater. He thought what the two of you had was special! The Doctor is aghast! Speechless! Shocking you until your brain is liquid isn't good enough! Tunneling you every match isn't good enough!
Why, you've broken his heart here!
It makes him want to clip your little wings so you can't fly away anymore, so you can't visit these... others and so you couldn't play with anyone else but him...
Really, though, with you playing so hard to get, it wasn't just pissing the Doctor off.
You were turning him on as well...

Carl unlocked the gates once T-Dog called out that the food had arrived.
"What you got?" The kid asked.
"Canned beef, canned corn, canned cans, theres' a lot more where this came from." T-Dog said, carrying it through to one of the cells.
Sully jogged towards Natalia, sniffing the stuff she was carrying as he walked by her side.
"Any change?" Rick asked the make shift infirmary cell.
"Bleeding is under control and no fever" Lori said. "But his breath is laboured and his pulse is way down and he hasn't opened his eyes yet."
"Take my cuffs, put them on him." Rick told Glenn. "I'm not taking any chances."
Carl helped T and Natalia whilst Rick talked to Lori, Natalia was still fuming about what had happened in the cafeteria, she should have killed him and let Rick kill her after, least she'd be taking the creep down before he could do anything to anyone else.
"Nat, T, come on, let's go." Rick called out once their conversation was done.
"Stay with Carl, Sul, I'll be back. Be a good boy, will you." She gave the dog a treat as she rubbed his head, scratching behind his ears.
"Hey, I don't blame you" T-Dog told her as they walked back out the door.
"Least someone agrees with me." She scoffed.
Rick could hear them, he didn't say anything for the moment. Once they got back to the prisoners and Daryl, Rick layed the weapons on the table, for them to choose from.
Tomas picked up the crowbar, looking at it.
"Why do I need this, when I got this?" He asked, taking out his gun once again.
"You don't fire guns" Daryl said. "Not unless your backs up against the wall, noise attracts them, it really riles them up."
"We'll go two by two. Daryl will point with T. I'll bring up the rear with you. Stay tight, hold formation, no matter how close the walkers get. Anyone breaks ranks, we could all go down, anyone runs off, they could get mistaken for a walker, end up with an axe in the head."
"And that's where you aim, these things only go down with a head shot." Daryl explained.
"You ain't gotta tell us how to take out a man"
"They ain't men. They're something else."
"Just remember, to go for the brain."
The prisoners picked up their weapons to get ready.
"And what about you little lady, ain't got a partner?" Axel asked.
"She can handle herself just fine." Daryl told him, catching her off guard.
"Nat here was on her own, been surviving like that for a while, hell, she damn near saved our lives and ended it." T joined in.
"You broke into my house and refused to leave." She scoffed, walking after the others.
"Why'd ya call your dog Sully?" Big Tiny asked her, they'd clearly seen her bidding the animal goodbye.
"You ever seen Monsters Inc? One with the monsters who have jobs?"
"Yeah, once." He replied.
"The big blue one, he's called Sully."
"You picked that?" Axel asked.
"No."
"It's a stupid name, who'd you let name your dog that?" Andrew included himself into the conversation.
"What you do to end up in prison, show the world how much of a fucking brainless idiot you are?" Natalia turned on the man, the people in the group slightly thrown off by her sudden aggression.
"Jeez, was just a question, uptight bitch" Andrew grumbled.
"Well mind yer own business." Daryl told him in a low voice.
"Man, it's too damn dark in here." Oscar complained as they walked through the dark hallways.
"Gotta hold it up high out In front of you." Daryl told him, gesturing to raise the flashlight.
"You're gonna hear them before you see 'em." Tomas whispered.
A clanging sound came from behind a corner, unsettling some of the prisoners.
"It's coming!" Axel called out.
"Shh." Rick hissed.
A lone walker trudged past the corner, Daryl raised his hand in the air, counting down, but before he could reach one, the prisoners ran at the dead prisoners yelling and shouting.
The four watched as the prisoners punched, kicked and beat the other walkers that came out.
"These guys are idiots, why are we helping them?" Natalia asked.
"Cause we have a deal." Rick sighed.
"We're wasting time." Natalia scoffed, pulling out two knifes, pushing Axel out of the way so that she could plunge one in the head of a walker that was getting its gut punched in, then handling the one Oscar was kicking, before taking out the third, as the prisoners stared at her. "Are we done? Can we move on now?"
"Let's go" Rick ordered, nodding at T and Daryl to lead the way again.
Once again, a walker by itself walked round the corner.
"It's gotta be the brain" Daryl said, shooting it in the head with his crossbow. "Not the stomach, not the heart, the brain."
"I hear you, the brain." Axel repeated as another one came at them.
Oscar, Axel and Rick took out three as more kept coming.
"Stay in tight formation, no more prison riot crap." Rick told the group.
Natalia noticed the biggest member of the group step back as everyone took out the walkers, one with long curly hair had followed him, she went to help when a walker that had been handcuffed struggled to get his hand's free, had managed to slip one out, although his hand had slid off the bone.
"Look out!" She called as it reached for Big Tiny's back. She threw a knife at the walker, causing it to drop dead as the knife imbedded itself in the skull of the walking dead prisoner.
Though what she didn't account for, is the walker that had sized her up as a meal, falling into her and sending them both to the ground, She struggled to get it's face away from hers as it snarled and spat at her.
It had ceased when a metal arrows head poked through, almost firing into her.
Natalia pushed the walker off of her, Rick quick to help her get to her feet.
"You alright?" Rick asked.
"Fine." She caught her breath.
"You saved my life." Big Tiny expressed, picking up the woman as he hugged her, almost crushing her bones.
"Don't mention it." She patted his back. "You can put me down now."
"Oh, right, my bad." He smiled shyly, dropping Natalia down so she could stand on her own feet.
As they went to continue, another walker had walked round the corner, Big Tiny hadn't noticed it until it was biting into the mans side.
"Argh!" He screamed out.
Tomas was quicker than everyone else, shooting two bullets into it's skull.
"Oh my God!" Natalia gasped, looking at the bite as Rick stared down Tomas, before coming to his senses and gently nudging Natalia out of the way so he could get a better look with the flashlight.
"I'm telling you man, I don't feel anything, it's just a little bite."
"I'm sorry, man." Rick sighed, knowing what would happen.
"I can keep fighting!" He argued.
"You cut that old guys leg off to save his life." Andrew brought up.
"Look at where the bite is"
"Guys, I'm fine! Just, I'm fine." He repeated, trying to reassure Rick.
"It's slow, you don't always get hit with it so soon." Natalia sighed.
"Look at me... I'm not changing into one of those things."
"Look, man, there has to be something that we can do." Oscar said "We could just lock him up."
"Quarantine him." Axel joined in.
"We gotta do something. Why you just standing there? We gotta save him."
"There's nothing we can do." Rick disagreed.
"You son of a bitch" Andrew cursed.
"I'm all right."
Tomas charged forward, shoving Natalia out of his way and onto the floor, before bashing his weapon into Big Tiny's head, letting the man fall to the ground as well, he looked at the bloody weapon for a moment, bringing it back down onto the mans skull repeatedly, sending blood and brain matter splatting everywhere.
Natalia crawled back as she watched the scene unfold, her eyes wide, she had killed many times before, but never so gruesomely, never like the man had just done, she was a survivalist, he was psychotic.
Two hands gripped her arms, pulling her up, she looked behind her quickly before noticing that it was T-Dog, Daryl beside him.
"You alright, got hurt?" T asked.
"I- I'm." She looked back, letting the rest of her sentence die down in her throat.
Once Tomas was satisfied the job was done, he looked back at Rick before walking ahead once more.
Daryl walked toward the handcuffed walker, pulling out the knife and wiping it on the overalls, passing it back to Natalia as the others headed after Tomas.
"Thanks" She muttered. "And for..."
"Let's go." He grumbled, nodding for her to go first.
Rick, Natalia and Daryl stayed behind the others as they walked down the dark hallways.
"You see the look on his face? How he threw Nat?" Daryl asked Rick.
"He makes one move." Rick told the pair.
"Just give me a signal." Daryl finished his sentence.
"I shouldn't of let you stop me earlier, told you I got a knack for this kinda thing." Natalia gritted.
The group made it to the laundromat, inspecting the empty room, just in case anything jumped out at them.
Snarling and banging came from the double doors in the room.
Daryl chucked his ring of keys at Tomas as they neared it.
"I ain't opening that." Tomas said.
"Yes, you are." Rick told him. "If you want this cell block. You're gonna open that door. Just the one, not both of them. Because we need to control this."
With a sigh, Tomas bent down and picked up the ring of keys, looking at the group before stepping towards the door and unlocking it.
"You bitches ready?" He asked, he struggled to open the door. "I got this."
Tomas pulled one more time, opening both doors before jumping back.
"I said one door!" Rick shouted at him.
"Shit happens."
The group fought off the overloading herd of walkers that followed out from the double doors, spreading everyone out.
Natalia pulled her knife out of one head, dropping it to the floor as she watched Tomas purposely try and take Rick out, who had narrowly missed it, causing her to almost forget about the walker that came straight for her.
Natalia dealt with it before running to Ricks side, who was now on the floor from a walker being thrown at him by the Hispanic.
She plunged the knife through its head, letting the man push it off him as she helped him get to his feet.
"T, mind the gap!" Daryl shouted out, also seeing what had just happened.
"Thanks." Rick said to the woman.
"Just paying you back." She said, fighting against another walker that came at her. "Now deal with our other problem."
He nodded at her in agreement, Rick knew what he had to do.
Soon enough, the laundromat was rid of hungry walkers.
Daryl aimed his crossbow at Tomas who shrugged off Ricks heavy stare as he walked towards him.
"It was coming at me, bro." Tomas said.
"Yeah, yeah. I get it." Rick agreed. "I get it. Shit happens."
The laundromat was silent as Rick and Tomas had a stare off.
Until Rick swung his arm back, the one carrying the machete, before bringing it down onto Tomas's head, pushing it down so that he landed on his knees before dropping to the ground.
"No!" Andrew cried out, attempting to hit Rick with his bat. Natalia tugged out her handgun from her waistband, aiming it at him.
"Easy now" Daryl said, moving the aim of his crossbow.
Andrew looked at the pair before turning back to Rick, realising he had no options here. He spun around, running out of the door.
"I got him" Rick told the three as he chased after the prisoner.
Daryl and Natalia pointed their weapons at the other two prisoners, T-Dog quick to copy with his own gun.
"Man, get down on your knees." Daryl ordered.
"We don't have no affiliation to what just happened!" Axel told the three. "Tell him, Oscar!"
"Stop talking, man" Oscar said, his hands up in surrender.
Rick soon enough came back, raising his own gun at the prisoners.
"We didn't have nothing to do with that." Oscar said.
"You didn't know?" Rick asked him. "You knew, let's end this now." Rick moved to point his gun at Axels head.
"Sir, please, listen to me!" Axel cried. "It was them that was bad, it wasn't us."
"Oh, that's convenient."
"You saw what he did to Tiny! He was my friend. Please, we ain't like that. I like my pharmaceuticals, but I'm no killer." Axel pleaded, Natalia scoffed at him.
"Oscar here, he's a B and E, and he ain't very good at it neither. We ain't the violent guys, they were! Please, I swear to God! I wanna live!"
Rick turned back around and aimed his gun at Oscar.
"What about you?" Rick asked when he still had said nothing.
"I ain't never pleaded for my life. And I aint about to start now. So you do what you gotta do."
Natalia eventually put her gun back on safety, tucking it back in the waistband of her pyjama bottoms.
Rick took this as a sign, lowering his own gun, letting the pair stand up.
Daryl grabbed a hold of Axels overalls pushing him to walk forward to cell block D, using his keys that he picked back up to unlock the door, throwing the man onto the ground.
The Cell block was full of dead prisoners lying on the ground just outside their cells, their hands zip tied behind their backs and blood coming out from their heads, where they had clearly been shot.
"Oh, man." Oscar sighed.
"I knew these guys." Axel whimpered. "These were good men."
Natalia couldn't help the thought that they were in prison not let her fully believe what he said.
"Let's go." Rick told the three.
"So, you're just gonna leave us in here?" Oscar asked him. "Man, this is sick."
"We're locking down this cell block. From now on, this part of the prison is yours, take it or leave it, that was the deal." Rick shrugged.
"You think this is sick? You don't wanna know what's outside." Daryl offered.
"Consider yourselves the lucky ones."
"Sorry about your friends, man."
Natalia followed after Rick and Daryl.
"A word of advice, take those bodies out and burn them." T-Dog finalised before leaving as well.
"What a day" Natalia sighed, stretching her arms up high.
"Yer lucky yer still breathing." Daryl told her.
"Yeah, well, falling on my ass twice and saving a mans life before his horrific death, all without dying, I would say that's pretty lucky."
"Lets just get back and see how Hershel's doing" Rick told them, scratching at his beard.
"Hey, that was pretty badass, what you did with the machete and the dramatic pause, but I still think my idea was way better." Natalia told Rick.
"It wasn't really for a show. Your way was barbaric"
"I know, but it would of been gratifying, would make me feel a damn lot better." She shrugged.
"Hershel stopped breathing" Carls voice could be heard as the group walked into the cell block. "Mom saved him."
"Its true." Glenn clarified.
Natalia slid down the wall facing outside the cell as everyone filled it, Sully jogging to her side as he nudged his head against her chest, making her raise her hands to hold his face, scruffing up his fur as she kissed the top of his head.
"Daddy?" Maggie called to her father, followed by a more excited Beth as the man opened his eyes.
Hershel had made it, and Rick was to thank for that.
The sun was shining as Natalia walked round the field with Sully, throwing around a ball she found for the dog to catch and bring back as Rick, Daryl, Carol and T-Dog brought in the cars.
"Hey, Nat, you helping out today?" Daryl shouted over to the woman, gesturing for her to come over.
"Come on, boy." She called to her dog, walking over.
"It's gonna be a long day." T-Dog told her. "Collecting and burning bodies."
"How exciting, so glad you asked me to help out." Natalia teased.
"Where's Glenn and Maggie? We could use some help." Carol asked.
"On watch, right?" Natalia asked, looking around for the pair.
"Yeah, up in the guard tower." Daryl pointed up at the tower.
"Guard tower, they were up there just last night." Rick reminded.
"Must've been a lot to scope out."
"Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl called up.
The head of Glenn popped up through the window, unlocking the door and walking out as he was in the middle of getting dressed.
"Hey! What's up, guys?" Glenn called down, doing up the button of his jeans.
"You coming?" Daryl asked him.
"What?"
"You coming?" He repeated.
Glenn looked towards Maggie unsure of the question as everyone stifled laughs.
"Come on, we could use a hand."
"Yeah, we'll be right down." Glenn raised a finger as a dishevelled Maggie looked down unapprovingly.
"Least someone's getting some action." Natalia mused.
"Maybe you can try your luck with one of them" T-Dog pointed from behind them, causing the group to turn around.
Axel and Oscar had walked up to their side of the fence, looking down on the others.
"Come with me" Rick muttered, walking towards the fence, the other four on his heels.
Natalia slipped the gun out from behind her belt, holding it tightly just in case.
"That's close enough." Rick told the prisoners. "We had an agreement."
"Please, mister. We know that." Axel pleaded as Maggie and Glenn came out from the red door behind them. "But you gotta understand  we can't live in that place another minute. You follow me? All the bodies, people we knew, blood, brains, everywhere. There's ghosts."
"Why don't you move the bodies out?" Daryl asked.
"You should be burning them" T added.
"We tried. We did."
"The fence is down on the far side of the prison. Every time we drag a body out, those things just line up. Dropping the body and just running back inside." Oscar explained.
"Look, we had nothing to do with Tomas and Andrew. Nothing. You trying to prove a point. You proved it, bro. We'll do whatever it takes to be part of your group. Just please, please... don't make us live in that place."
"You can always leave" Natalia said.
Axel looked at Natalia before back at Rick.
"Our deal is non negotiable." Rick told the two prisoners. You either live in your cell block, or as Nat said, or you can leave."
"I told you this was a waste of time." Oscar told Axel. "They ain't no different than the pricks who shot up our boys. You know how many friends corpses we had to drag out this week? Just threw them out, like. These were good guys. Good guys who had our backs against the really bad dudes in this joint, like Tomas and Andrew. Now we've all made mistakes to get in here, chief. And I'm not gonna pretend to be a saint, but believe me  we've paid our due enough that we would rather hit that road than to go back into that shithole."
Rick turned around, to where Natalia and Daryl were both stood, his eyes asking their thoughts, at first she thought it was just to Daryl until his eyes shifted to hers, each both shook their heads.
"The road it is then." Rick told them.
Daryl escorted the pair into the outer gate where one of the cars still sat whilst Rick deliberated with everyone else.
"Are you serious, you want them living in a cell next to you? They'll just be waiting for a chance to grab our weapons. You want to go back to sleeping with one eye open?" Rick asked T-Dog.
"I never stopped. We let Nat join us, she could of easily done the same thing, now look at her, locking her cell at night so we can't get in."
"Hey, mind your own business, I let you people in, besides, I've never been in prison, from committing a crime!" Natalia defended herself.
"And we're all grateful for that" T-Dog told her. "But what I'm saying is, I think we should bring them into the fold. If we send them off packing, we might as well execute them ourselves."
"If you think they're that incapable on their own, what use are they to us?" She asked him.
"I don't know, Axel seems a little unstable." Glenn joined in.
"After all we've been through? We've fought so hard for all this, what if they decide to take it?" Carol asked.
"It's just been us for so long. They're strangers. I don't... it feels weird all of a sudden to have these other people around." Maggie sighed.
"You brought us in" T-Dog reminded her.
"Yeah, but you turned up with a shot boy in your arms. Didn't give us a choice."
Natalia looked between the group, she had been with them for around two months, she didn't realise how much she actually closed her self off from the group until finding out that Carl had been shot, just now.
"They can't even kill walkers." Glenn brought up.
"They're convicts, bottom line."
"Yeah, both points I've been making, thank you."
"Those two might actually have less blood on their hands then we do, especially Nat." T-dog said, making Natalia scoff as she bit her lip.
"I get guys like this. Hell, I grew up with them. They're degenerates, but they aint psychos. I could have been in there with them just as easy as I'm out here with you guys." Daryl said, seeming to have swayed his vote.
"So are you with me?" T asked him.
"Hell, no. Let 'em take their chances out on the road like we did." He finished with, bringing back Natalia's hope in him.
"What I'm saying, Daryl-"
"When I was a rookie, I arrested this kid. Nineteen years old, wanted for stabbing his girlfriend." Rick started. "The kid blubbered like a baby during the interrogation, during the trial suckered the jury. He was acquitted due to insufficient evidence, and then two weeks later, shot another girl. We've been through too much. Our deal with them stands." Rick finalised, walking away, the rest following except for T-Dog, who eventually came to his senses and caught up.
"Move the cars to the upper yard. Point 'em facing out. They'll be out of the way but ready to go if we ever need to bail." Rick told Glenn, chucking him the keys, who jogged ahead. "We'll give the prisoners a weeks worth of supplies for the road."
"Might not last a week." T-Dog sighed.
"It's their choice." Rick shrugged.
"Did they really have one?"
Natalia ignored the conversation, leaning against the fence, Sully by her side as the vehicles were being moved.
"Twin cylinder. is that a Triumph?" Axel asked Daryl as he hopped on his motorcycle.
"Don't even look at it." He threatened the prisoner, struggling to start it up.
"Don't want it bored out?" Axel tried again at making conversation. "Sounds like it could use a tune up. I'm pretty handy with a wrench." He shouted over the revs of the bike starting. "Heads are leakin', I know my bikes!"
"Man, will you just stop?" Oscar asked the blond, also watching the pair interact. "Have some balls."
"Just sayin'"
Natalia leaned off the fence as Glenn was closing it, walking back up with the others.
Carol was moving the red truck as Daryl, Rick and Natalia climbed through the hole in the fence, planning on heading for the woods, Glenn caught up after giving food to the prisoners.
"Should I take her out?" Glenn asked, pointing to the walker on the other side of the water.
"No." Rick told him. "If that armoury hadn't been picked clean, we could spare the ammo."
"I'll start making runs" Daryl offered. "The sooner the better."
"We'll throw as much wood as we can in the dog run."
"Won't fire attract more walkers? Maybe we should bury them." Glenn suggested.
"You wanna count how many bodies that is we'd have to bury?" Natalia asked him, looking over her shoulder to see that Daryl was still stood at the gate, looking into the woods.
"Besides, we're behind the fence. It's worth the one-time risk to get rid of the bodies for good. I don't want to be planting crops in walker-rotted soil."
"I don't get why I'm out here collecting fire like a lumberjack, I could've helped with the cars" Natalia sighed as they began making piles.
"Can you even drive?" Glenn asked her.
"Yes, are you old enough?"
"I'm 22."
"I'm 26."
"Liar. There's no way you were walking and talking by the time I was even born." Glenn rejected.
"Believe it, kiddo."
"We've never seen you drive, we've seen them." Rick said. "When was the last time you drove a car?"
"Uhm, probably nearly three years ago?”
"Why so long?" Glenn asked, surprised by her answer.
"That's a personal question." Natalia said. "But I still know how to, besides, I didn't need to, my boyfriend did, but he's dead, so it's up to me again."
"Oh, uh, well I think this is enough firewood, so we should head back." Rick cleared his throat.
The four of them walked back towards the fence, only three of them carrying firewood as Daryl carried his crossbow, helpful.
"Looky here" Daryl said, holding the fence open for the others to get through.
Natalia was the last to climb out, chucking the logs of wood into the pile the other two placed theirs as they all watched Hershel, on crutches, walk around the courtyard.
"He is one tough son of a bitch" Glenn grinned. "Alright Hershel!"
"Shh! Keep your cheers down" Daryl muttered to Glenn, gesturing to the walkers roaming around outside the fences.
"Oh, man, can't we just have one good day?" The Korean sighed.
"Don't go jinxing it." Natalia told him.
The four smiled at the others, happy for Hershel's achievement, until Natalia noticed something behind Carl.
"Shit!" She cursed, instantly reaching for her knifes.
"Walkers!" Carl screamed, turning around. "Look out!"
"No!" Rick shouted, sprinting down the fences, Daryl following and Natalia right in front, Glenn skidded back to tie the fence back up in order to not get outsiders coming in either.
"Get out of there! Now!"
Natalia reached the gate first.
"Keys! I need the keys!" She screamed out.
Glenn chucked the keys to Daryl, who threw them to Rick who then tossed them to Natalia, who unlocked the gate, throwing it open so the others could get through.
"Move!" She shouted at the two prisoners, running for the other gate to unlock it.
"Come on! Come on!" Daryl shouted.
"I'm trying! It's stuck!"
"Out my way" Rick moved in front of Natalia, trying his luck.
"Got it" He eventually said, throwing the gate open.
"Hey, bro, what about us?" Axel cried out as the four ran up to the prison.
He was ignored.
Rick and Natalia shot walkers, landing headshots, Daryl took a few out with his crossbow, whilst Glenn opted for his machete.
"What the hell happened?" Rick shouted at Beth and Hershel, who were safe in a cage, Natalia could thank the lords above that they had brought Sully with them.
"The gate was open!" Beth answered him.
"Where's Lori, Carl... everyone else?"
"Maggie led Lori and Carl into C block." Hershel replied.
"And T was bit." Beth added.
"Anyone else?"
"I couldn't tell."
"Stay put." Rick instructed, turning around to take out another walker.
"Those chains didn't break on their own." Glenn reported back, once they had got all the walkers in the courtyard. "Someone took an axe or cutters to 'em."
Daryl, Rick and Natalia turned around to find Axel and Oscar walking up.
"How convenient they show up now." Natalia commented, aiming her gun at them.
"You think they did it?" Glenn asked.
"Who else?" Rick said.
Just then, an alarm blared around the prison.
"What's that? Oh, you gotta be kidding me!"
Glenn, Natalia and Rick shot at the speakers, but not ceasing the alarms.
"Kill it!" Hershel shouted.
"How the hell can this be happening?" Rick asked the prisoners, pointing his gun in their faces.
"Woah! Woah! Woah! It must be the back up generators." Oscar said.
"Well how do you turn those on?"
"There's three that's connected to a diesel tank, okay? Each one controls a certain part of the prison. The hacks shut 'em all off when the prison was overrun."
"Can someone open up the gates electronically with full power?" Rick pointed at the main gates.
"I only worked in there a few days. I... I guess it might be possible."
"Come with us!" Rick grabbed Oscar by the overalls, running to the cell blocks.
Once they got to it, there were a few bodies on the ground, but Carl, Maggie and Lori were nowhere in sight.
"We just took out five of 'em in there." Daryl said, grabbing one of his arrows.
"There were four in here but no sign of Lori or any of them." Rick reported back.
"Must've been pushed back into the prison."
"Somebody is playing games!" Rick exclaimed. "We'll split up and look for the others."
"We need to shut this alarm off" Natalia said.
"We will, whoever gets to the generators first, shut them down! Lets go!"
They ran back out the cell block, the prisoners accompanying  them.
Glenn and Axel ran off, but before anyone else could they got chased towards the generator room by a large group, forcing them through.
Daryl and Oscar kept the doors closed as Rick and Natalia looked around, guns held high.
"How do you shut these down?" Rick shouted, looking at the machinery.
"Go, help him, Nat, c'mere, switch" Daryl ordered.
Natalia helped hold the door closed as Oscar went to turn off the machines.
"Did you see how many was out there?" She asked, gritting her teeth.
"Was too busy running!" Daryl responded.
"We could take them."
"No!"
A loud cry sounded from the other side, before metal hitting metal.
"What's going on?"
"It's Andrew, he's alive!" She told them as they both struggled with the door, her being able to see slightly better than him.
"Alright, one... two  three!" The two stepped away from the door, Natalia readying her knife whilst Daryl reached for his crossbow.
The door flew open, Walkers entering as the pair took them out.
"Shoot him! We can take back this prison!" The voice of Andrew shouted. "What you waiting for? Do it! It's our house, shoot him!"
No one else said anything as a gunshot went off.
Daryl closed the door back up, both looking at each other before moving to see what had just happened.
Oscar was holding Ricks gun, pointed straight ahead. then he spun it, handing it back to the man, Andrews dead body on the floor.
Rick took his gun back, holding it as he moved back towards the machines, turning dials and soon enough the alarms stopped.
"Let's go" Rick told them.
They walked down the dark hallways, only finding a few lone walkers, that Natalia was quick to take out, the others holding flashlights. Soon enough, they met back up with Glenn and Axel.
The six halted behind a corner, running past it quickly to be met with two walkers eating an corpse.
Rick took them both out, the bodies dropping, revealed what was left of T-Dog.
He was dead.
Glenn paced back. Natalia covered her mouth, not knowing what to do with herself.
Daryl bent down, picking up a red cloth, Carols headscarf.

In the beef between Valentino and Marc I can't take a position. This will be a little long but allow me to articulate my thoughts.
I understand where both of them were coming from and both points of view. Why?
I think that to better understand Vale it is important to keep some factors in mind: 2015 was the first year after the disastrous two years at Ducati where he had a chance to compete for the world championship, in 2011 one of his closest friends - not exactly known for being the most cautious driver on the track - died, and finally he was getting old. It's also important to keep some things in mind about Marc: he saw his idol complimenting him since before he took part in MotoGP, he was very young and super thirsty for victory. That said, things started to go downhill at Assen in 2015, Rossi made a Rossi old style overtake and Marc got a taste of it which must have been a bit bitter, so bitter that he called himself “the moral winner of the race", for Valentino, however, that moment was a factor that certainly gave him extra determination, that made him remember who he was before slowly losing himself. Jorge Lorenzo also said it in one of his interviews: “The last straw was in Assen, when they touched each other on the chicane. They were blaming each other" explained Lorenzo, according to him and also according to Valentino that was the moment in which Marc decided to make Rossi lose the world championship. Then when they raced in Australia and Rossi found himself just 11 points behind Lorenzo, he was convinced that Marc had favored Lorenzo at Philip Island, saying that every time he passed Marc then Marc overtook him but only to slow down and give the possibility of letting Jorge pass and putting distance between the two. The fact that Marquez didn't really enjoy Assen was certainly a theory that went in Vale’s favor. In a tense situation like that you tend to overanalyze everything and therefore I understand how easy it was to find malice in Marc's gestures. At that point for Vale it was as if he was fighting for the world championship against two people instead of one, which explains what happened in Sepang which was the culmination of something that had started well before. Marc was in Valentino's way the whole time and so I'm sure Rossi kicked him (even if he says he didn’t) having lost his patience. Imagine driving to try to win your tenth title against your teammate who is faster than you and having a this new talent standing in your way out of annoyance. Vale at this point wasn't racing to be competitive, he was racing to win THE title and instead suffered a defeat both on a sporting and personal level.
At the same time we must also try to understand Marc's point of view: I'm pretty sure that before Sepang Marquez didn't actually intend to sabotage Lorenzo, he certainly didn't like what had happened in Argentina and Assen. Up until that point Valentino hadn't really had the chance to fight him to his full potential, so seeing how Vale was beating him and acting lowkey cocky about it afterwards must not have been very pleasant for Marc. Sepang was the moment in which he decided to repay with the same coin, I don't think that during the race in Sepang Marc was specifically trying to sabotage Valentino, I think it was more of an almost involuntary reaction due to the precedents, but after Sepang without a doubt anyone else would have preferred to see anyone win the world championship other than Valentino. So for Valentino what Marc did was just a child's whim and for Marquez what Rossi did was the reaction of an insecure adult man. I have no difficulty understanding Marc's resentment, if you can call it that, towards Vale, especially knowing how competitive Marc is, but at the same time I also understand how all of Marquez's actions were easily misunderstood by Valentino, especially given the situation in where he was.
for sure man!! 90% of what i do on this blog is try and get at the root of where they’re both coming from during 2015 and this is a lot of it and very well articulated!! and you don’t have to like. pick a side and have a hard line stance here it’s sports who gaf… i just love marc he’s my baby girl…
however. i WILL say. the past where i start slipping into beating vale with hammers territory is the press conference before the race and then the public backlash afterwards. marc was an adult for sure, but it’s GLARINGLY obvious to me that vale had a LOT more control in this situation in terms of the media, and he leveraged that against marc deliberately in ways that kinda sucked! marc got his house broken into! marc got death threats! marc thought, okay maybe he’s not my friend anymore but he’s still my hero, and then vale BLINDSIDED him publicly :( i know vale was going through it and thought marc was sabotaging him but. marc still rates those few weeks as some of the worst of his life. especially considering how young he was at the time. so i still love vale but i’m hashtag team marc here… like he collected his bikes!!! while they were racing!!!! he loved him. and vale REALLY hurt him.

What do you think Bruno’s relationship with his mother is like? Do you think he’s in this limbo that he hates her for how she left them but also doesn’t because he’s glad that she found someone she could be happy with? And when she asked him who he wanted to stay with, she did have his best interests at heart because she said the city had good education and many kids his age for him to hang out with. She was described as a kind and loving woman who read bedtime stories to him every night so she was obviously a good mother and person.
Do you have any headcanons on his mother? What do you think she’s like? What is her second husband like? Do they have kids together? Has Bruno met his second family? If so, what does he think of them? Why do you think she and Paolo divorced? Sorry if this is a lot, I just want your thoughts on his family dynamics because we don’t hear a lot about him and his mother hahaha
No it’s okay! You’re giving me free rein to ramble about things I want to talk about. No need for apologies.
Though, I want to be frank and say that the headcanons for the mother’s side of Bruno’s family, and his family generally will be in another post, sheerly because of the length of this one.
⋅ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✧ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ⋅
What do you think Bruno's relationship with his mother is like?
I believe Bruno’s relationship with his mother is complicated. Bearing in mind who he is, he’s a perceptive and understanding individual. If he was able to conceptualize and grasp the pros and cons of remaining with his father, he must’ve also considered the pros and cons of leaving to be with his mother (as suggested by these snippets of text):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Though, rationalizing something doesn’t stop you from feeling a particular way, so I do believe you’re right with the mixed sentiments, but in a slightly different context — however I need to mention something important before we touch upon that.
A major aspect of Bruno’s past and character is that he had a conventional beginning. He wouldn’t have responded to Trish this way if he was raised differently:
Tumblr media
So it’s important to remember that when we think of Bruno and his parents; Neither of them are innately bad people, and are prone to mistakes just like anyone else.
With that in mind, I believe Bruno still holds his mother in a high regard, taking into account the fact that she did love him and cared for him when she was around. To him, he’d think he’s being ungrateful for feeling that way, prompting him to not address any resentment or hurt he feels. And if he did address those feelings, he’d disregard them, since he knew what he was giving up by staying with his father, so he has no right to complain about a self-inflicted issue.
Conversely, since he does still love his mother and would want the best for her, Bruno’s happy that she got to have a family, he just doesn’t want anything to do with it (for reasons I’ll explain further in this post).
⋅ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✧ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ⋅ ⋅ ── ⋅
Has Bruno met his second family? If so, what does he think of them?
Bruno makes a point to remain unassociated with the rest of his family, for a variety of reasons.
The predominant reason for this is his worry that he’d endanger his mother and her family with his presence. Bearing in mind how fiercely he fought against the drug trade in Napoli (and how ruthless he can be on the job), you can only assume there’s plenty of people who’ve got beef with him. If anyone who had a vendetta against him knew he (hypothetically) kept in contact with his family, they’d be roasting on spits, so to speak.
One of the other reasons for his distance involves this snippet of information again:
Tumblr media
This, from Bruno’s perspective, would indicate that she doesn’t factor him into his life anymore (most likely because of her new family taking precedence). So, with Bruno being so adept at grasping the implications within a situation, I wouldn’t be surprised if he surmised that his mother distancing herself from him was her committing to her new family and leaving her past behind (as this snippet kind of states):
Tumblr media
And even if his intuition was wrong, he wouldn’t want to stir up conflict in her new family by trying to reenter her life again (since that’s an unfortunately common occurrence in situations like his).
Lastly, I feel like it would hurt him too much to see his half sibling — which I say definitively because you can infer his mother being a family woman with how she treated Bruno (and the fact that he even exists), so I wouldn’t be surprised if when married her new husband, she had the notion of children on her mind.
In situations like these, it almost always ends with the overlooked child feeling jealous or inadequate of their sibling. I would presume Bruno would feel that way with his own half-sibling, but would understand that it’s not their fault they exist. They should be raised with the love his mother is providing them with, but that doesn’t mean he can make himself like it. Therefore, keeping himself detached from her life would also avoid any unnecessary strife.

I have a headcanon that Gallus’s backstory in the Guild has a breaking bad, better call Saul vibe to it. Like his life was less of a fantasy tale, more of a criminal rise and fall novel? Here are some details:
the only times the guild was really ‘thriving’ were back in 170s when Gallus ruled it. before and after him, they were a simple bunch of thieves, more or less. Gallus did his math, realised that (economically speaking) this ‘business model’ was unviable, and re-organized the guild into a vast syndicate providing all kinds of shady services
he won his reign in a competition against Mercer; the competition was to steal the Imperial Crown (right before the coronation of Titus Mede II). When Gallus returned to the guild, the thieves wanted to keep the crown as a symbol of their glory, but Gallus played a humble man and gave a passionate (and very much planned) speech about him not wanting to be anyone’s ‘king’ but being there to serve his people. Later, he sawed the crown into jewels, sold each one separately and therefore made an impressive starting fund for all his investments and renovations
He hired all sorts of young and impressionable misfits and trained them into becoming skilled copyists, gamblers, messengers, swindlers, and so on - so much that actual thieves became a minority of the guild members and its associates. Mercer sarcastically offered to change the name to ‘Chicanery Guild’ but eventually Gallus proved that shady land deals were worth A LOT more gold than stealing some gilded pots now and then
He had a young secretary that he personally pulled out of jail to work for him. The secretary was gay af and got absolutely infatuated with Gallus (who didn’t mind because additional loyalty never hurts)
Mercer and Maven started as business partners and continued as cynical lovers who enjoyed luxury and making fools out of people
Delvin and Glover, and later Brynjolf and Vex were a part of the ‘hire the orphans’ program. Vex joined the guild as a child who lost her family in the Great War, and was trained personally by Karliah, with whom she had an adorable big sister/little sister relationship. Brynjolf, in his turn, was Mercer’s young apprentice
Gallus had personal beef with the Empire because the Imperials jailed and executed Dralsi Indoril (his mentor and saviour, and Karliah’s mother) without a trial. So much that he intentionally financed Thalmor during the war (his biggest mistake that he came to realise when it was already too late)
Dealing with Thalmor required even more money, so Gallus resorted to drug trade (and later drug production, which became his very personal side business with Enthir)
He learned the Falmer language to keep his drug schemes and writings safe from everyone (especially Mercer)
Eventually he developed an addiction himself, but Mercer and Karliah discovered it and decided to take action. Mercer didn’t want to betray Gallus from the start: he stole the Key to save him
Using the Key, Mercer broke into Gallus’s safe fearing that he might have kept the stuff in there, but found his encoded trade plans instead. He deciphered them and got shocked that Gallus not only kept the drug money in the guild, but transferred it to the enemy of the state
Mercer tried to expose Gallus, but he and everyone else just laughed at his face. ‘What’s that, you say? Falmer writings? And we’re supposed to believe you’? THIS IS HOW ‘THE PURSUIT’ SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE GAME
Trying to play bigger and bigger, searching for risk and fulfilment, Gallus dragged himself into a zugzwang. Thalmor had him, and so did the drug business, so when he discovered that Mercer stole and kept the Key (which meant that the Nightingales had failed, and Gallus was the one to blame), it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. ‘I am a dead man one way or another’
Mercer also didn’t plan on killing Gallus, he kinda saw it as an option. They had a super-complicated friend/rival relationship, and in fact, Mercer automatically rushed to save Gallus whenever there was a danger,
So yeah, they fought at the Snow Veil, but after defeating Gallus, Mercer felt something like ‘damn I can’t let him go’. And he would have saved him, but Karliah interfered, and the time was lost - and so was the chance
Mercer improvised and framed Karliah for murder, but he never really tried to track and take her down (that’s why she freely wandered around for 25 years)
In terms of behaviour, Gallus was somewhat of a Gus Fring type, and Mercer was a Lalo Salamanca one
Tldr: Gallus was super intelligent and curly and adorable but ALSO a slightly psychopathic risk addict who basically brought death upon himself, and Mercer was a cool guy who didn’t resist the temptation to become even cooler, and Karliah was a sweet cinnamon roll.

one last thing before i go to sleep: Storybrooke and Free Will
so, i've been wondering about this for a while now.
apparently, the inhabitants of storybrooke had free will during the dark curse- which i find hard to believe, because they're trapped in this little town and have no memories of their real selves. i mean, how much of it is free will when you're stuck in the confines of a persona that isn't you? mary-margaret may have had free will but was forced to do the same thing over and over again, and had no memories of who she originally was... even jefferson who has his memories, doesn't seem to have much of it, although for different reasons). the notion of free will under the dark curse is completely ridiculous, but for the sake of this, i'll roll with it (or at least, try to)
in my mind, people gained free will as emma came along- that's what makes the most sense, because no one has free will when stuck in a time loop (so of course, when the clock starts moving... shit goes down) + regina's influence on the town decreases when emma arrives imo (with ruby leaving granny, ashley taking back the contract, graham leaving regina, etc etc. these characters finally get to "break out' of the loop, and to which i say good for them!!)
which brings me to my "analysis" of the day: david nolan. i'm highkey obsessed with this little guy in a /neg way because he started out with no cursed memories, therefore giving him more free will than anyone with this show- and i think it initially helped a lot with this decision-making because charming still shined through david nolan. he knew he wanted mary-margaret, and immediately left kathryn to be with her, just like charming has never been afraid to pursue what he actually wants. i guess we could look at the parallels between 1x06 david nolan and charming but we'd be here all day, so i'll just say that it's interesting to see david give up on love for what he deems a "noble reason" in both timelines but in completely different ways with him being 'trapped' by his fake memories and george. especially since in the first case it's because he has his fake memories that he has to... anyway
i understand that the amnesia and suddenly remembering his cursed memories must have not been easy, but that definitely did not warrant the mess that was cursed snowing LMAO
what's interesting is that david has the same problem as anyone else: he technically has free will (solely as his cursed persona, which is a whole other can of worms...), but this town is so under regina's control that in the end, one could say "ah well, regina's curse made me do it!" because i like to think it's everyone's go-to excuse when discussing the fucked up shit they did under the dark curse BUT david doesn't have that. when he woke up, emma was already there, so he didn't have the remnants of regina's influence.
but also the whole time, david was very much going against regina's will, which makes it... arguably worse? i mean, he got his memories as regina was losing control over the storybrooke narrative but damn. he was just doing whatever. regina would try to get him away from mary margaret and he'd show up at the diner at 7:15AM like... hiiiiii
i have some beef with the writing itself because i still don't know if their cursed selves were supposed to be diametrically opposite to their OG selves or if their OG selves were dormant. the latter seems more likely because mary-margaret still has enough snow in her to be able to dropkick jefferson and ashley just straight up pepper sprayed gold- to which i have to say, legend behavior by the way.
what i mean is that it's not a thing for david post 1x06, save for being irrevocably drawn to mary-margaret/snow. like, in 1x16, charming could not believe for one sec that snow would ever do something cruel while david... david went for the (in this case, metaphorical) kill by throwing out all the faith he had in mary margaret. i don't know if it's on purpose or if his cursed memories overrode every charming trait he had (badum tss) but damn... cheater coward liar annoying like pick a struggle babe, you can't have them all </3
i sound like a hater but i'm just cranky because it's almost 1AM and i'm overthinking about free will in a small fictional town under a curse that was broken when i was beginning middle school (i'm almost in my mid twenties)

Hey bro i heard you like 🔥 so c'maaan gimmie your salt maaaan
Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.
(( gonna preface this by saying - if any of my moot moots are one side or the other, or consider themselves such - i got no beef with you. you're my homies, my real ones, my ride or dies; im open-minded to hearing your opinions. jus' dont send me any anon nastiness, ill cry REAL tears ))
honestly? i can't stand the black and white thinking in the rpc & fanfic communities as a whole. the whole pro-shipper/anti-shipper debate is extremely tiresome to apparently anyone who believes in nuance & grey situations.
like, on one side - you have people who will and do persecute people for the fucked up ships that they write. on the other, you have people who preach fiction is fiction and will willingly ignore the genuinly problematic people who take advantage of the notion of 'pro-shipping' in order to write their extreme fetishes ( ala, pedophilia / beastiality ).
i have always been anti-censorship. i always will be. i watch extreme cinema and read extreme manga / comics. nothing phases me. there are films that disturb me ( salo will /always/ make my uncomfy ) and obviously things i wont touch with a ten foot barge pole ( anything with kids / animals ) but for the most part, i'm very chill when it comes to what people want to write. i believe people should be honest about their kinks, preferences and things they wish to write.
if your partner is willing, it's consensual and tagged or under a read more. i have zero issues with it. but -
i have gotten sent hate before from 'pro-shippers' for stating my stance on anybody who wants to write smut with kids. literal hate for stating i'm against pedophilia. ( and im not talking about a 17 yr old being sexually active, im talking, like - literal children being sexualised ) like, what? i've been called purity police and all kinds of shit. like, me? purity police???? the bitch whose favourite comic is crossed and favourite manga, ichi the killer. LOL
my whole issue with the debate and the censorship / arguments in the rpc is that, it feels as though you HAVE to be one side or the other. you can't have a nuanced opinion, you can't understand that sometimes - there is a place for certain content, despite how extreme it is.
everybody is allowed a preference. you're allowed to be upset, offended, afraid, disgusted by or whatever else from x subject. every single individual is different and it's what makes us all beautiful. and i feel people need to really understand this. you can write extreme content but don't expect people to like it. on the other hand, if you don't like x content - don't attack someone for writing that content.
i just feel that there's wrong on both sides and i wish people would actually talk about the subject instead of throwing around attacks at each other. ultimately, whether anybody likes it or not - what you're writing is a footnote in the grand scheme of literature. you're writing on tumblr with your buddies and you're here to have fun.
if you wanna write an extreme sex scene with your consenting friends, go for it. if you don't want to write smut or you can't stand a certain ship, that is totally fine, too.
it's okay! both sides can be right without being aggressive or nasty.
like said, i would never label myself 'pro-ship' or any of that shit because i don't agree with that stance. i believe that there is a place for all content in all media in some, way, shape or form. i believe that rp is a slippery slope because it's a hobby that involves partners and is sociable. you have to please those around you and must understand that you can't wave around fetishes without a potential backlash. i agree people should write what they want, but i don't agree that there is a place for ( for example ) smut involving kids or animals. especially in the rpc. i've seen people 'joke' before about writing a pedo purely for exploration & to get a reaction. i can't imagine a more unenjoyable, questionable, horrific kind of thing to write in rp ( hell, even in media...that sort of character burns out and leaves creators depressed a/f).
i just wish people would talk, understand, and be open-minded. and - think about the bigger picture, too.
is this thing going to ride with you when you're offline?
probably not. so be respectful, have fun and just chill~

Aranai's Thoughts on Ginza Division
Tumblr media
Masa Judice
Aranai glares at the photo of the priest, before crumbling it up.
"This guy, no offense to Shisuta, is why I don't put too much stock into religion. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who do. You believe in what you want to believe in. I'm not going to knock you for it. But people like this corrupt minister and his so-called church, they're the main reason why religion is so looked down on. Because it's more like bondage and brainwashing than actual free will!"
"I don't know what beef this guy has with Shisuta, and quite frankly, I don't give a rat's ass. But if he thinks I'm just going to stand by and let him hurt her, he's got another thing coming. He harms so much as a hair on her head, not even those followers are going to save him when I get my hands on him!"
Eiji Noguchi
"This guy is probably the only likable guy on this team. And that's more to do with the fact that he created PROFILE than anything else. I tell you, I'd like to know what was running through his mind when he came up with that thing. I'm not knocking him, though! Ask anyone here in Ueno, and they'll tell you PROFILE is everywhere! I've been trying to get Shisuta and Boss-Lady into it, but neither of them can be bothered. Shisuta doesn't know enough about technology, and Boss-Lady considers it a waste of time." Aranai rolls her eyes.
"Besides that, this guy also seems to be a complete technophile. He was on T.V. once proclaiming that technology is the way of the future and that the future will be completely reliant on technology. I don't know how much of that is true. I think I'd have to see it to believe it. And besides that, I'm not sure how I feel about having robots and androids walking around. I've watched some robot movies about the ones that take over the earth and... well, it just makes you think. I know, I watch too much TV..."
Oki Teagan
"Wasn't this guy part of that rap group? C H A R O N, or some shit? Yeah, I think that was it. Truthfully, this guy, along with everyone else I knew, was everyone's least-favorite member of the group. I mean, the guy just had a pompous-as-hell attitude and thought the whole fucking world revolved around him just cause he could rap. Newsflash pal: most people in this day and age know how to rap! Don't think that just because you were in a group, that makes you special!"
"Truthfully, no one really noticed when he disappeared, at least I didn't. But when he suddenly showed up as the third member of this group, well, it turned some heads. But if he's trying to grab hold of his lost fame, he's wasting his time. We've all moved on. And even those that hadn't, have long forgotten you. Deal with it!"
Last Judgment
"This team is on the top of my shit list! If it weren't for that priest making threats to Shisuta, I wouldn't have paid him or this group any attention. But he basically called out Shisuta by declaring war against her and Sakurai Clan. I don't know if he knows this, but if you mess with one of us in this clan, you mess with all of us! And he'll see that before this tournament is over. He claims to be a religious man, well I'm telling you this now, buddy. If you know a prayer, then so help you, you'd better say it now, because trust me, when we meet in the D.R.B. and I wipe that sorry-ass smirk off your face, you're going to need it!"

hate to put a downer in the tag but is anyone else majorly disappointed in s&b season 2? it feels like the show was rushing to get to all the "important bits" without giving them the weight and buildup they deserved. they front-loaded the entire plot of Crooked Kingdom and got to the ending of Siege and Storm in, like, episode 2. And that ending... holy shit, that sucked.
No white-hair-Alina, no orphanage happy ending for her and Mal, no mention of Alina's full-ass cult. Does no one remember the girl with suns tattooed on her face??? I do. she was cool. And what the fuck is up with David dying in the assault on the Fold? He wasn't supposed to die until Rule of Wolves, it makes no sense why they pushed his death to this season. They're clearly expecting to get a season 3, based on the ending with the Crows (which is, inexplicably, the hook of the book that came before the one they adapted for this season????) so why would they not expect to play David's death out the way it happened in the book? And, again, why the fuck did they front-load the plot of Crooked Kingdom? Why is Kaz's most famous scene just kind of tossed in the middle of the season with no actual narrative buildup? Why does the show feel like Matthias, of all people, needs to have beef with Pekka Rollins??? Those two characters have exactly nothing to do with each other--iirc, they don't even interact in the books. It feels like the writing team just sat around a table and went "ooh what if" until they wrote enough words to fill in a script. I can't tell if Leigh Bardugo gave all of this her blessing, or if she just looked away too long and they went rogue on her.
(side-note, killing the king and Vasily at the same time wasn't a great choice. the scene in the book where Nikolai looks his not father in the eye and tells him to get out, or he'll be charged for his crimes against Genya is such a good moment of catharsis for her character, and the queen isn't in enough of the show for her little replacement scene to fill that gap.)
And I know I've mentioned this before, but the Darkling's death in the show is robbed of its weight by the way the show treats the name Aleksander. It's tossed around so flippantly that Alina's final extension of respect for him--calling him by the name he had when he was innocent--feels like she's just... saying goodbye. She's using the name he's had this whole time, rather than specifically calling him Aleksander as a show of respect for the dead. The Darkling is supposed to be a tragic character--not likeable by any standard, he's thoroughly and truly the villain of the Grisha Trilogy, but you're supposed to understand that at one point, he was innocent. At one point, he could have done something good. His death is a reminder of that, in the books. In the show, all you really feel is relief that you don't have to listen to his manipulative dialogue anymore.
Honestly, the season doesn't suck. It's not bad (I have some extra gripes about the sound design but that's definitely a budget issue and not really anyone's fault), it's just disappointing. There were some bits I really did like, too!! Every scene with Genya in it was absolutely incredible, the show did her so well. The humour in this season was consistently good. Show-Wylan lives up to his book counterpart very well. And the subplot with the saint in Shu Han was really well-done, even if I do wish the show had kept the original catalyst for Jesper using his Grisha powers. I know the show can do the books justice (the two Nina and Matthias scenes in season 1 that are literally word-for-word accurate come to mind as examples), and I do want there to be a season 3 so I can find out where they're going with all this. I was just expecting better. I'm sure people who haven't read the books, or are more forgiving of "high-budget fan fiction" style adaptations will really enjoy it, and that's not bad by any means.
Idk. I was just hoping for something the show didn't want to give, I guess.
