Anti Binge Box
Hey guys! :) if you’re anything like me, distractions are one of the only ways to stop a binge, and even that’s only if your head is clear enough to notice whats happening.
Lo and Behold: THE ANTI BINGE BOX
I keep mine in my nightstand, but wherever you go before a binge (maybe in the kitchen pantry, near your dishes or silverware, etc.) is the most convenient/efficient place to put it.
Some ideas for what goes inside your box:
Gum!
I have five packs of spearmint gum and one pack of cinnamon gum(for when I want to switch it up)
Sugarfree mints:
I have two containers of icebreakers! One mint and one sour!
IF YOU ARE OF AGE:
I keep a pack of juul pods in there and also cigarettes, I also have some weed in case the cause for my binge urges is anxiety.
A notepad filled with distractions (i.e. “clean your room,” “make tea,” writing prompts, “journal,” “go online shopping for necessities,” “watch hulu,” “skincare/bath/shower,”
And of course, some peppermint tea bags(or tea of choice), maybe print out some thinspo, ya know the deal.
The only way to completely stop binging is to stop restricting. Please, if you are seeing this, choose recovery.

My anti-binge box! I decided to include a fun kids toothbrush and kids toothpaste so it’ll feel like a treat getting to use them. And mouth wash + mint gum to keep myself occupied. Black nail polish for something to do. A free McDonald’s coffee card because coffee=life. A special pen and notebook to record weight/measurement to keep myself motivated when I see where I was vs where I am.

Edit my father purchased a huge box of my ultimate safe food:
Canned del monte green beans. A 14.5oz can is 51 calories.
So filling, low cal, high volume, veggies.
I put 0cal cajun seasoning on it, just a pinch.

My Ultimate Anti-Binge List
This is just a little something I threw together for myself to look back on when I feel a binge coming on.
1. Art. I can spend hours upon hours working on portraits. You don’t have to be good just draw and draw! 🎨
2. Tv shows or movies. Binge worthy tv shows like The Office can waste most of your day. Just don’t get high calorie snacks when you’re watching. 📺
3. Study. Yeah I procrastinate a lot. I need to do more of this. 👌
4. Coffee, hot tea, apple cider vinegar with cinnamon. You know all that jazz. ☕️
5. Straighten or curl your hair. I have really curly hair so it takes me 2 and a half hours to straighten it. 👩‍🦱👩
6. Have a spa day. Face masks, paint your nails, bubble baths, etc. 🛀🏻
7. Drink water. All the water. If you don’t like plain water get 0 calorie flavored add ins or out fruit or cucumbers in it. 💧
8. Go to the gym! 🏋️‍♀️
9. Meditate 🧘‍♀️
10. Listen to some of your favorite music and relax 🎧🎼
11. Watch shows like Supersize vs Superskinny or YouTube videos of obese people eating. You’ll be too scared to eat. 🤰
12. Get coffee with a friend ☕️👯‍♀️
13. Look at thinspo posts 🤳
14. Make an anti binge box if you think you can hide it from your family 📦
15. Give song writing a try! Or maybe try to write a book or a play! 🖊
16. Read a book you’ve been meaning to read or reread a favorite 📕
17. I skip breakfast, have my biggest meal for lunch, and have a lighter meal or dinner 🍊
18. Nap. You need it. 😴
19. Log your food in a food diary app, post it on Tumblr, or keep a physical journal 🍒
20. Scroll through Tumblr, Instagram, and your other apps 📱
21. Stay safe 🥰

in regards to binges, there is a few things i do to keep myself safe.. or safer.
✰ buy the smallest form/serving of a binge worthy food! ie. single serving bag of lays instead of a family size.      ✰--> it helps the wallet and the mind!
✰ for the love of god, forgive yourself. mistakes happen! and if you get upset, it’ll lead to more binging.     ✰--> tomorrow is another day! 
✰ drink. water. it will help with everything! 
✰ if you can, try to binge on something healthy! 
✰ instead of working yourself to the point of terrible exhaustion, try some simple stretches. roll your shoulders! touch your toes! reach for the sky! 
you can take this advice or leave it, i just want to try and help.
just remember, that you are valid, deserve respect, and access to support. ♥

I’m so frustrated I weighed myself at 171 on oct 1st and i’m bouncing between 166 and 168. I’m eating less than 1000 cals a day and at least 30 mins of activity so the FUCK IS THIS BULL
