To save time, you can use the "Inspect Element" button in the web inspector to get the image much more quickly

We're gonna need to click that button there, and now when you hover your mouse over elements in the page it will highlight them and also select them in the HTML

Some sites, like Instagram, have clickable overlays that get in the way so this inspector will get those instead, but the images are usually either inside those elements (you can open them by clicking the little arrows to the left of the element, if there's no arrow then there's nothing inside it) or inside elements that are close to the clickable one, so you should be able to find it without too much effort. If I had an Instagram account I'd show you, but I don't, so I have faith that you'll work it out
