anti-Valentine’s Valentine’s date
I tried SO HARD to write the adorable Jal prompt that I received for Jalentines day, and instead of cute all my brain wanted to write was angst. Set in approximately D2, it’s a 3k lead-in to a longer Jal fic that I’m probably not going to finish writing.
*
Mal kicks the door of the boy's dorm open with the heel of the stupid, impractical strappy sandals she's been wearing since before dinner.
Or at least, that's what she tries to do. Instead, because her life is a curse and the very existence of high heels is a prison, the delicate silver heel of the shoe that Evie spent hours sourcing for her snaps off.
Great. Perfect. This is just how she wanted the night to go.
Mal pounds on the door with her fist instead. "Open up! I brought misery and disdain for the institution of love!"
A thump. "And chocolate?"
"No, I didn't steal any chocolate at all from my date with the king of Auradon," Mal says, as sarcastically as she can manage with one shoe on and the other broken to pieces in her hands. "Just let me in already."
The door pops open. "You're late." Carlos informs her. "Evie already went back to your room."
Wonderful.
"I don't care," Mal informs him right back, and shoves her purse, which is tiny and lilac and stuffed to the brim with all the chocolate she could fit, into his hands. "I need this princess shit off my body yesterday. I am not cut out for valentine's day, that's what I've learned, and also Ben's going to dump me and I don't care."
"Woah. Uh. Maybe you should care--"
Mal spins around to glare at him, and Carlos immediately throws his hands up. "I MEAN, your judgement is impeccable and we all hate Ben now!"
Ugh.
"I don't hate him," Mal snaps, yanking her earrings out and throwing them sort of in the direction of somebody's dresser. There's still enough empty space on the top for her to recognize it as a dresser, so signs point to it belonging to Carlos. "I hate love. And valentine's day. And dating."
"You said you hated froot loops yesterday." Carlos points out. "Because I took the last of them. So like, I'm gonna take this with a spoonful of salt here. Did your date not go well?"
Mal rips the pins out of her hair with so much force that one of them flies into the mirror. It doesn’t shatter, which is a fucking shame. She would have liked to make an awful mess. "I hate love, and I'm going to die alone surrounded by the bones of my enemies. No, it did not "go well,”” She stops ripping out pins long enough to add air quotes, which are essential to the dramatic effect of it all. "He asked if I love him back, and I told him, again, that I don't know how to love people, and he made this horrible face and was so kind about the whole thing, and just-- ugh!"
Carlos is hovering. "I’m…sorry?"
"I'm sorry we ever came here." Mal spits, yanking her other shoe off and throwing it somewhere in the direction of Jay's shoe pile. "I don't-- I can't be a princess. I hate that I just-- I don't know how to do anything, and I hate when people look at me like I'm supposed to know what I'm doing, and there were all these cameras, and--augh!"
"Jay's in the shower," Carlos offers. "If you want to bother him about it."
"I want to hit something," Mal admits. It's not a perfect solution, but she's already feeling a little bit less like her skin is on too tight now that she's got her hair loose and wild around her shoulders and her earrings and stupid, uncomfortable, impractical shoes off. "I think-- d'you want to spar with us?"
"Can't. Homework." Carlos gestures to the textbooks he's got spread out on the neater one of the boys’ beds. "I've got a test tomorrow and if I fail I'll have to retake the class."
Mal leans over so she can see the textbooks. It looks like history, maybe. Something with a lot of dense text and no visible math problems. "I can't imagine you failing any test, furball." she says, meaning it. How well they thrived on the isle of the lost isn't a perfect gauge for how well they're doing in Auradon, but school is school no matter where they are, and Mal can't remember her little nerd ever failing a test.
Carlos goes even tenser at her attempt at reassurance. "First time for everything."
"Still, you failing?" Mal scoffs. "We're in Auradon, not Wonderland. Not everything is upside down and inside out and topsy-turvy. Or whatever Allie’s sayings are.. You'll be fine."
"I'll be better if I study. Sorry. No sparring for me tonight."
Ugh. Mal rips another pin out of her hair and throws it towards the mirror with the others. "Suit yourself. I'm going to go bother Jay into letting me beat the shit out of him."
Carlos flashes her a little half smile. "Have fun."
“Oh, I will,” Mal assures him, and spins around to go invade the sanctity of the boy’s showers.
The short, barefoot walk down the hallway to the boy's bathrooms gives Mal critical time to think about her plan of attack. She's wicked and awful, naturally, but she's also not especially interested in getting shouted at by a teacher for being out of bed and in the boy's showers tonight. She's had enough of being shouted at by adults who think they know better than her. She's not some Auradon girl to be controlled, so she's simply not going to get caught.
Which means she's going back to the boys room.
At least she'll remember to grab some different shoes this time.
"Fuck off, Mal," Carlos calls through the door when she knocks a second time. "You can't steal my shoes."
"I can steal whatever I want, actually," Mal corrects him, opening the door and barging in, as is her right as their fearless leader. She is Mal of the Isle, and she's not a prize to be won or a princess to be wooed. She's going to steal whatever shoes she likes. "Jay's shoes don't fit me right."
Carlos throws a pen at her. "Neither do mine, you're just delusional about the size of your own feet. At least take my sneakers if you're going sparring. I hate when we have to dig out the poison kit after hours."
Mal sticks her tongue out at him. Her shoes are all perfect, and she's also perfectly aware of the size of her feet, which are currently half a shoe size smaller than the one Carlos wears.  As such, their shared approximate size gives her the right to steal his shoes whenever the princess ones she's been dressed in are too much for her to manage, physically or mentally. . "I'm taking the ones with spikes."
"Are not."
"Are so," Mal says, diving under the bed to where he keeps all four pairs of his shoes lined up. "I'm going to add more spikes while you're not looking. Poison-tipped ones. Razor-sharp."
"Use porcupine quills, they're barbed." Carlos says helpfully, making absolutely no motion to get up and defend his shoes.
Mal shoves aside the fallen textbook, grabs the hoodie shoved under the bed for later, and ah. There’s her prize.  Boots (with spikes), dress shoes, cleats (more spikes), and there at the end, sneakers.
"Fishhooks," Mal suggests. "The giant ones that rip holes when they come out. And I'll dip them in bleach powder so it burns the whole time they're inside."
Carlos shudders. "Gross."
"You're gross," Mal rips her dress over her head, and does not wince at the popping noise the shoulder seam makes. Evie can fix it again later, or they can burn it. Whichever. "I'm taking your clothes too."
"Wash the bloodstains out before you put them back."
Shirt. Pants. Hoodie. Sneakers.
Ill-gotten disguise on, Mal flashes him a thumbs up on her way back out the door.
“Hey,” Mal calls out, keeping her voice intentionally low. She’s got the hood of Carlos’s stolen hoodie pulled up over her hair, and she’s relying on the sight of a familiar size-shape-color-scheme to deter anyone from looking too closely at her. Not that there’s many students around the boy’s bathroom at 9pm on Valentine’s night, but still. She’s not exactly looking to get caught. “Jaybird?”
There’s no noise in the bathroom except for the irregular drip of a shower head that hasn’t been turned off quite hard enough. All the money in the world, and Auradon Prep still doesn’t have showers that actually work how they’re supposed to.
It’s ridiculous. If Mal were in charge of the school budget she’d be putting all the money into showers. A hot shower and a  fireplace in every dorm, so that none of the students have to feel cold if they don’t want. That’s the budget priorities Mal would have. Warmth, and then food. The dining hall could stand to leave leftovers out longer after meals.
…princesses don’t think about food. She’s been around Evie long enough to know that one. Princesses are tiny and perfect without even trying. Princesses eat salad and fruit and don’t order fries with anything. Princesses are the sort of people the king is supposed to be dating, and Mal is never, ever going to become that sort of person.
“Mal?”
Mal does not jump. She just— startles. Just a little. “Hey.”
There’s a smile playing at the corner of Jay’s mouth. “Hey yourself. I thought you’d be out with Ben still.”
“You know price charming,” Mal waves a hand. “Had to have me home by midnight or else he was afraid I’d turn into a pumpkin.”
“It’s nine thirty.”
“Localized curse. The younger you are, the earlier it thinks you should be home. We picked nine, just to be safe.”
“You can just say you had a bad date, killer,” Jay says. “I’ll be your alibi. You need a shovel?”
Mal snorts. “It didn’t go that badly, give me some credit. I just freaked out when he started talking about love. While we were on a date to talk about love.”
Fuck.
A lot more of the evening makes sense when she frames it that way. None of the bullshit they’ve found online talks about dating the king of the entire country, but there’s a lot of website with mind-numbing names like psychology today and buzzbees news that make it very clear how important Auradon brats think nonverbal communication is.
She went on a date. On Valentine’s Day.
With Ben.
“…Killer?”
Focus.
“Fuck off.” Mal snaps reflexively. “I’m fine. Just. Plotting.”
Jay dodges around her for a pile of fabric, which reveals itself to be his Auradon-blue team hoodie. “You wanna plot somewhere a little better?”
“What I want is to go home, but I’m not going to get that,” Mal says thoughtfully. “I was going to ask you to spar with me, but if you’ve got any better ideas I’m open to hearing them.”
“Breaking and entering.” Jay says immediately. “We should blow this place. There’s that all-ages club in town—”
“If I have to touch another human being I’m going to scream.”
Jay touches her arm deliberately, a sustained pressure that doesn’t even read as touch, just comfort. Mal drinks it in like he’s pouring the comfort directly onto all the jagged, awful pieces of her soul. “I’m not a human being?”
“Shut up. You’re mine, it’s different.”
“You’re mine, then.”
There’s a piece of her heart that fits perfectly again the broken edges of his. Mal couldn’t let go of Jay if she tried, not for anything in the world. Not for her mother breathing fire at them, not for Fairy Godmother insisting that it’ll be good for them to make other friends, and not for a stupid holiday that says she’s only supposed to be tied to one person, and not even the one holding on to her right now.
“Sure.” Mal agrees, because she can’t put words to the enormity of feelings she’s experiencing. Villains don’t have feelings, but she’s reformed now, and it’s harder to describe the feelings with words than it is to have them. “We can sneak out, see what trouble we can find.”
“You’re all the trouble I need, killer.” Jay says, too honest. “I’ll take you out of here whenever you need. Wherever you want.”
“Sap.”
“Princess.”
“Do I look like a princess to you?” Mal leans back to gesture at herself. The sweatshirt she stole isn’t Auradon-blue like Jay’s. It’s an old one, ratty in the way that all their old isle stuff is, and nearly transparent at the elbows. The seams are held together with Evie’s neat machine stitching, but the thread is three different shades of red and grey all mashed together, and there’s a hole in the edge of the hood that’s exposing the soft inside of it. Her sneakers are a size too big, and laced tight to compensate. Her hair is still a mess from the violent undoing that she’d subjected it to, and she can’t be bothered to try and tame it, not when her chest is bursting with feelings that don’t have any place to go except for out of her body, in tears or screams or whatever violence she’s able to inflict that will drive the awful right feeling out.
“The prettiest princess in all the land,” Jay says, and jumps back before the words are even out of his mouth, out of the range of Mal’s swipe. “C’mon, killer. You’re the fiercest baby dragon I know. Come out with me. We can find trouble somewhere better than this.”
"You're trouble already," Mal grumbles, but there's no bite to the words. She wants, wholly and completely, to be somewhere else. "The gates are locked for the night, you know."
"No problem. Besides, you can just say you're on an important errand for the king and get through all the school security."
"I could," Mal agrees. It's not like she's afraid of a little misplaced power when she can wield it. "But it's more fun to sneak out."
Jay's grin is a bright flash in the darkness. "Hey, I've got a stupid idea."
Mal grunts. "Shoot."
"I could toss you over the fence."
"The twenty foot fence."
Jay shrugs. "It's more like twelve feet. At least according to the build specs."
"Which you came across..."
"Totally legally. They're in the library, if you know where to look for 'em."
"You're impossible," Mal sighs. "Okay, once you toss me how are we getting you over?"
"I'll jump."
Over the twelve foot fence. "Sure, and when you break your leg falling back down?"
"You'll magic me back together again. Humpty-dumpty this shit."
"I don't think you actually know that rhyme."
"I know your rhymes," Jay shoots back. "You've got magic for levitation in the spellbook, yeah?"
"I don't have the spellbook with me, wise guy." Mal points out. "I'm not even wearing my own shoes right now, what makes you think I memorized magic that'll get us over the fence?"
Jay's eyes are too bright. She's going to have to use a spell just to hide him, and the magic will burn her out, and they'll get stuck on the wrong side of the fence, and-- that's what she would think, if she were Jane, or someone will less awesome magic powers. She's Mal of the Isle, and she's got this shit under control.
"Dragon magic," Jay says cheerfully, like it's not late and they're not doing something totally against all of the rules they're supposed to be learning by sneaking out to the city. "I trust you, killer."
"I could kill you," Mal grumbles, but she raises her hands and lets the magic gather there, blue-green sparks catching on her fingertips as she pulls the spell out from her mind. "Make this boy as light as air, hop the fence without a care."
The magic falls over Jay in a net of shimmering sparks. They absorb in after a second, but the look suits him. Mal spares a thought for her sketchbook, which is tucked away in her locker with the rest of the books she hasn't had the time to touch in weeks, and the drawing her fingers are itching to make. "You can hop it now. You'll be light enough to jump over the fence with a regular leap."
"Sweet!" Jay turns and drops to a knee. "Hop on."
"Piggyback? Seriously?"
"No better way to hop it together. Unless you'd rather I throw you over."
It's dangerous, and not just physically. Mal's been doing a pretty fucking good job at squashing down the feelings she's not supposed to have for her best friends, but this...
She's emotionally illiterate, but Jay's offer to take her out tonight is like a picture book. Or one of those furniture instructions that doesn't even have language, just pictures to follow.
He cares about you, Mal's traitorous brain whispers. More than your boyfriend does.
Ugh.
"Don't do anything stupid," Mal says, even as she's the one climbing on. "The spell should be good for a few leaps, but--"
"Can't hear you, too busy blowing this place!" Jay grunts, pushing them both upright. "Let's fuckin' go--"
"Don't--"
"Hup!"
Well. At least they're on the other side of the fence now, even if they crashed directly into the school holly bush on the landing.
"Oww," Jay groans. "Might need a little more practice on that spell. I think there's something wrong with your magic assist on the landing."
Mal yanks a leaf out of her arm. "There is no magic assist, dumbass. I tried to tell you, but somebody decided to go full steam ahead without listening to my warning. We're over now, and that's what matters."
Jay mumbles something unintelligible. She can only assume it's rude, given the circumstances. Ugh, holly leaves are not the hot new accessory of the season, not even when they're doing a levitation act and sticking with a single thorn into her nose.
"Speak up or shut up, jaybird."
"I said--" It's impossible to tell in the darkness, but it looks like he might be blushing. The school grounds are supposed to have automatic lights, but a little wire cutting took care of that for them, and they're sneaking out under cover of darkness tonight. Mal's good at knowing her crew, but she can't be sure. "I, uh, you're important. To me."
"Don't get mushy on me."
"I'd never. Just. We're sneaking out together, and I wanted you to know, I'd never commit crimes and misdemeanors with anyone else."
"Liar."
Jay flashes her a smile, but he's doing the thing where he's got a hand tangled up in his hair, and it makes him look heart-wrenchingly sincere. "Yeah, but not to you."
Oh, gods. "Don't go having feelings on me," Mal says, swallowing down the wobble that wants to creep into her voice. "I can't handle it. Not tonight, please."
Just like that, Jay's posture melts into something different. Not quite his usual confidence, but something closer to normal. "Sure. No feelings. I can do that."
"I don't--" Mal scrubs a hand over her eyes. "I didn't mean that you can't have feelings, just. I can't be the one to handle them tonight. I'll do whatever you want tomorrow, just-- can we just go be somewhere else tonight? I can't handle all this lovey stuff."
Jay's shoulders melt even further. Mal can't look him in the eye, she can't, she won't--
He's smiling. His hand is so, so warm in hers. "Killer."
"I'm sorry."
He shrugs. "Whatever. You're allowed to have a bad night. I'll take you out, we can forget this ever happened tomorrow. Easy."
"You should have someone better," Mal cries, and the horrible realization that she's crying sets in. "I don't want feelings for you!"
"shit," Jay whispers, so quietly that Mal is sure she wasn't supposed to hear it at all. "Dragon, we don't have to do feelings like the Auradon brats. You can just be mine, and I can be yours, and we don't have to do any of the mushy shit that's freaking you out. We can just run away."
"Together."
"Yeah. Unless you spelled somebody else over the fence while I was distracted."
Mal wipes the sleeve of her stolen hoodie across her nose. "Ugh, no. I don't use magic for just anybody."
"See, there you go. I'm honored to be worthy of your magic, your royal evil-ness."
“Fuck off,” Mal groans, and then before she can lose her nerve she steps close enough to cup his face in her hands. There’s no magic this time, but Jay’s skin is hot and soft under her palms, and it feels like there should be magic between them. “I’m the worst girlfriend in the world, so I won’t ever put you through that. I’m selfish, and I’m flaky, and I can’t say that I love you, and I can’t ever promise that I’ll be able to say it.”
Jay’s face is a thundercloud. “Did Ben say you needed to say it back?”
“No, but— Ben’s not here right now. That’s the point. He’s not the person I run to when everything in the world is too much for me to handle. Ben’s sweet and all, but he’s not who I want to be with when I’m upset. Can you imagine what he’d say if I suggested running away from the grounds?”
“What ho good chap, let me summon a car to escort you from the venerable grounds of our fine institution,” Jay picks up her thread, mocking. “And yeah, I guess when you put it that way, it’s pretty silly to think about Ben taking care of you.”
Mal sucks in a breath. “Exactly. He’s sweet, but I don’t know how to deal with sweet, and it feels like the pressure of it is killing me. You know how to push back when I’m being a monster, and I don’t know how to fit that into one of the relationship boxes I’m supposed to use here.”
Jay tips his head into her hands. “We could make our own box.”
“We could.”
“I wouldn’t ask you to be my girlfriend.”
Mal leans in. “I know,” she tells the space between Jay’s parted lips. “I know.”

hiii can you please write a fic with leo getting carsick with lucas and vince?? and this time it’s pretty bad, they have to pull over multiple times and he still can’t stop dry heaving long after he’s empty and vince and luke are in complete Protective Bro Mode taking care of leo
"So I put my hands up" Vince belted from the top of his lungs, causing Lucas to dissolve in a fit of giggles and turn up the radio. He joined in the singing "They're playin' my song, the butterflies fly away I'm noddin' my head like-" and then pointed at Vince, who chorused in, "YEeeaahhh"
"You two are awful" Leo groaned from the passenger seat, rubbing his temples.
"Moving my hips like yeah!" Vin yelled from the back and Lucas snorted loudly.
"It's a party in the USA!"
"God" Leo sighed, leaning his head against the window.
"Cheer the fuck up, Leo!" Vin squealed, shoving his big body between the passenger and driver's seat and shaking Leo's arm, "it's the song of our people!"
"...Your people?" Leo groaned, slapping Vince's hand away from his arm, "dumbasses?"
Lucas rolled his eyes, "you started dating Jonah a week ago, why is he already rubbing off on you?"
"Fuck off, Luke" Leo scoffed, rubbing his face and glaring out of the windshield. A heavy silence settled and Vince scoffed, slapping Lucas' arm.
"You gone and made it weird, cazzo" he grumbled, before ruffling Leo's blonde hair, "what's up kiddo, you're all mopey."
"Don't call me kiddo" Leo sighed and then bit down a groan as he felt his stomach flip flop. It felt like it was filled to the brim with hot soup, even though the last he had eaten was bland oatmeal, followed by his anti nausea medication. Said medication that had promised to knock him out and give him a blissful six hours of cross country trip. Clearly it wasn't working.
"Answer the question, you little prick."
"I'm just... Just feeling bleh" Leo blushed. Suddenly he felt like the worst person ever. Not only he was a hassle to deal with by constantly getting carsick, but he was also bringing down the mood of the car. Vince and Luke had been so happy not even a minute before and now they were both frowning, looking at him with twin faces of concern.
"Bleh?" Luke repeated, "as in a headache or I'm gonna throw up in the car bleh?"
"Uhm," Leo curled up in himself, "a little bit of both..." his stomach churned, "maybe more the second."
"What the heck, you're sitting on the front and you took meds!" Vince whined, "I thought that wasn't supposed to happen!"
"Me too, sorry" Leo mumbled and Vince winced.
"No man, I'm not mad at you, I'm mad for you. This sucks" he ran his fingers through Leo's hair without thinking, catching Lucas' eyes on the rear view mirror and doing that twin thing they did, where they talked with just their eyes.
Leo groaned and leaned onto Vince's touch. Vin's hands were always a touch too warm, but at least they were solid and steady, a change from the sensation of the moving car.
"Leo," Lucas reached in to squeeze his leg in a reassuring manner, "do I need to pull over?"
Leo thought about it for a second. He really wanted to say he could do until the next gas stop, but his stomach was going from angry to fucking furious and he could already taste his breakfast in the back of his throat, "...Please."
"It's okay buddy" Lucas nodded, swiftly slowing down the car and turning up the emergency sign. He parked on the dust shoulder and Leo groaned, unlocking the door with a shaky hand.
"I'll be right back" he mumbled, then dizzily stepped out of the car, trying to salvage a scrap of his dignity. He made it to the back of the car and crouched down on the gravel, using the trunk to support his arms.
Inside the car, Vince watched as Leo, pale as a ghost suddenly disappeared from view and he raised a startled eyebrow "uh... I think we just lost the baby."
Lucas snorted, "he'll be pissed if he hears you call him that...Even"
"Odd" Vince said, then threw up his hand in the space between them, holding up two fingers. Lucas had only held up one and he sighed, seeing the results of their childish match. Vince grinned, "rough, bud" he said, kicking Lucas' driver seat.
Lucas rolled his eyes, "give me a water bottle" he asked, taking it and getting out of the car. He cringed as he approached the back and found Leo hunched down, with a small puddle of chunky white and brown puke before him.
"Hey" he said softly, crouching down too and planting a hand on Leo's back. Today he was wearing a long sleeved henley and its back was already drenched in sweat, "Leo, you're done, man."
"Uhm," Leo gagged weakly, "don't..." he let out a small burp, "don't think so."
"Okay, take your time" Lucas planted a hand in the middle of his back, "why are you almost on all fours?"
"Didn't want you to-" Leo interrupted himself with a painful heave and brought up a mouthful more of brown liquid "ah fuck..."
Lucas wrinkled his nose at the mess. He wasn't one to be bothered by vomit, but this stank, "get it up," he said gently, rubbing Leo's back a little forcefully.
A minute later Leo let out a queasy moan and almost lost his hold on the trunk as he heaved. Lucas grabbing his shirt was the only thing keeping him from face planting, as he brought up a lot more vomit.
He stopped puking and hung over it, breathing strongly "I'm..." he paused and spat in the puddle "I'm done."
"Alright" Lucas grunted, since his legs were starting to ache from the awkward crouched down position, "up we go"
"You talk like such a dad, Lucas" Leo chuckled weakly, stumbling away from the mess and resting against the car, "fuck my stomach hurts."
"Yeah, I'd expect so" Lucas handed him the water bottle "the fuck did you eat for breakfast, battery acid?"
Leo lowered the water bottle before it could touch his lips and gagged at the mention of his breakfast, glaring at Lucas, who had the decency of blushing and mumbling "sorry."
He waited patiently as Leo swished the water around his mouth, spat it and then took a tiny sip, trying to regulate his breathing.
"It's staying down?"
"Uhm... Not sure" Leo pressed the cold water bottle to his forehead, "I'm very dizzy, Luke."
"Meds did fuck-all" Lucas noted, rubbing his arm, "we'll stop at the next gas stop we find, get you some of the real stuff."
"No point" Leo squeezed his eyes, "...doubt I could keep it down now."
"We'll try anyway" Lucas promised, then fidgeted, "ready to get back in the car?"
Leo nodded, albeit he wasn't so sure. Just the thought of being in a moving car, again, was making him anxious. Speaking of anxious, as soon as he sat back down, Vince was the perfect picture of a worried mother, combing his hair back, hands on his clammy neck and forehead.
"How are you feeling, Leo?"
"Like crap" Leo sighed, cheeks blushing because he couldn't stop himself from leaning onto Vince's touch, "I hate my fucking stomach."
"Me too, kid" Vince sighed, rubbing his shoulders as Lucas started the car back up, "Uhm, I got you a bag..."
It was a nice gesture, but it made Leo's stomach clench from the sheer humiliation, let alone the nausea. Why couldn't he be like the other two, just hanging out, having the time of their lives?
"Thanks" Leo mumbled, taking it and leaving it on his lap. He knew he was far from empty, even if he hadn't eaten much for breakfast, Jonah had made sure he ate more than one yogurt he was planning to have. Now he was regretting it.
Thinking of his boyfriend at least brought up the small ounce of relief that he wasn't around for such a pathetic display. Even if Jonah had seen him sick a million times before, at least this was one less.
His belly churned as Lucas pulled the car into the road and Leo kept his eyes shut. He wasn't sure if it was helping with the motion sickness, so he forced them to open, only to catch his two best friends in the act of silently communicating.
"You guys can speak about me out loud, thanks" Leo grumbled, wrapping an arm around his tender belly. It was nauseating and awful the fact that he could genuinely feel his bloated belly somersault under his arm.
"Just worrying about you, Leo" Vince sighed and kept petting his hair, "it's a long trip..."
Yes, six long hours and only one had passed. Just the thought that he still had five more hours of a car trip made his stomach turn unpleasantly, "please just punch me really hard..."
Vince chuckled, while Lucas pouted, "I don't think a concussion is really gonna help you on terms of feeling queasy, kiddo."
Leo chose to ignore the kiddo, just this once. He let out a groan and leaned his head back, into Vince's touch, "I'll just try to stay really still."
And he tried. He almost managed, pushing down the nausea for several minutes, letting out the tiniest burps that kept rolling up and tickling his throat, but bringing no real relief.
The car was silent now, the radio turned off and it was so quiet that all three guys could hear the rolling and churning of Leo's stomach. A gurgle made him cradle his belly and swallow in the acid tickling the back of his throat.
"Leo..."
"I'm- I'm fine..." he grumbled, getting a hand under his shirt and squeezing his tummy with his fingers. He burped, this one a real belch and felt something frothy claw its way up, "Ow..." he dizzily grabbed the bag in his lap, trying to get it open.
"Here, here" Vince reached in, despite the fact he was too big to keep squeezing himself in the tiny space between passenger and driver. He held up the bag for Leo, who grabbed it with both hands, leaning over it and trying not to puke.
He couldn't force his mouth to close, drool hit the plastic and he groaned loudly, no longer caring if he was embarrassing himself. Leo had the faint idea that Lucas and Vince were speaking about him, but he wasn’t sure what was being said, all that mattered was the growing sensation of being squeezed from his middle-
“UUURkk” he heaved and almost lost his grip on the bag. Vince’s hand cupped his forehead, keeping his head and aim steady and Leo gagged again, bringing up all of the remnants of his breakfast in one large gush that simply didn’t stop. Probably his dinner too.
Oatmeal was the worst coming up, he decided, coughing and trying to get rid of the flakes in his throat, which kept triggering his gag reflex - He coughed up another torrent of liquid and the bag got heavy enough to sit on his lap and causing him to heave again, out of sheer disgust.
“You’re empty” Vince was saying gently, “Leo, you’re empty, breathe.”
“Can’t” he gasped, eyes squeezed shut, “it’s in my thr-” he retched again and finally dislodged the little flakes which were making everything worse.
Leo’s hands trembled and he started to lower them, with the bag, only to feel Vince let go of his head to grab at it before all the vomit spilled over. He bunched it closed in one hand and Leo pressed his forehead to the car door. The wind was welcome against his face, wiping away the smell of puke that was making his stomach roil more.
“Leo?”
“I’m fine...” he mumbled dizzily, only for his shoulder to hitch and a small mouthful of puke to land on his shirt, “oh no...”
He heard Vince cursing something in italian, but Leo felt exhausted... And so queasy still, he couldn’t force himself to pay attention.
“Gonna be sick”
“You don’t have anything else to bring up, kiddo” Lucas said, only for Vince to snort.
“Don’t challenge him” Vince warned, holding the bag with one hand cupping Leo’s cheek with the other, “we need to stop, Luke, get a new bag, some napkins... Leo, hey,” he patted his cheek gently “stay in the land of the living.”
“I’m here” Leo turned his face, despite the droplets of puke clinging to his chin and buried his nose and eyes in Vince’s large palm, trying to block everything. He wanted the world to stop fucking twirling.
His belly felt like it was filled with liquid still, sloshing from side to side and he was so dizzy... His mouth watered and he groaned, gagging in Vince’s palm.
“Luke!”
“I’m pulling over, calm down!”
“Don’t tell me to calm down!” Vince scoffed and then the entire world came to a halt, chill air flooded the car as suddenly Leo was tipped forward, just as another rush of vomit came out of his mouth.
It stung his throat and nose, bile and water, nothing more. He hung awkwardly, half outside the car, half in and whined, unable to get it together.
“Okay” Lucas was saying, holding him put, “alright, new plan...”
“Yeah?” Vince sounded eager to listen to the new plan. There was a beat of silence, interrupted only by Leo, retching again.
“Uhm,” Lucas sighed, “maybe get him lying down in the back, I’ll try to find a new bag and we can drive to a motel. There’s no way we’re making to New York with him in this state...”
“Noo” Leo whined, grabbing the door to force himself to sit up, “we’ll miss the concert.”
“Fuck the concert,” Lucas rolled his eyes, “who cares? Leo, you’re scari-”
“I care” Leo clenched his jaw, and yes he did. It hadn’t been cheap or easy to get the ticket, he was not Lucas Atwood who just got tickets sent to his household. He cared a fucking lot actually, “please.”
Vince groaned, “Lucas don’t fall for his puppy eyes.”
“Please” Leo repeated, turning to look at Vince, who immediately sighed, nodding his head.
“You’ll get yourself killed, kid.”
“I’m fine” Leo shook his head, before gagging softly “Well, I will be fine... Let’s not tell Jonah about this.”
“Lets” both boys agreed.

(Image ID: text reading "the sun is a deadly lazer" from a video by Bill Wurtz. End ID)
For the non-Aussies among us: remember to SLIP SLOP SLAP SEEK SLIDE! This is an Australian government campaign that has worked on me and I am fine with that because it is HELPFUL!
Tumblr media
(Image ID: a poster with the heading "Be SunSmart". It reads: Here are 5 simple ways to best protect your skin from harmful UV rays when outdoors.
Slip on covering clothing. Cover as much skin as possible. For best protection, choose: Shirts with high collars or high necks, and sleeves; Trousers or longer shorts and skirts that come to below the knees.
Slop on sunscreen. Use SPF 30 (or higher) broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen. Reapply sunscreen every two hours.
Slap on a hat. Wear a broad-brimmed hat or one that covers your head, face, neck, and ears.
Seek shade. Use trees, built shade structures, or bring your own!
Slide on some sunglasses. Sunglasses should be close fitting and worn outside during daylight hours.
End ID.)
My notes:
Light clothing reflects sunlight best, and will keep you cooler! Bonus if it's natural fibres such as linen and cotton, as they breathe better. Loose-fitting but well-covering skirts, sleeves, and pant legs will also keep you cooler—think traditional clothing in Middle Eastern countries. It tends to be long, loose, and pale. It's tried and true!
Remember to let sunscreen have time to soak in (~15 minutes is the ideal, but I'm not certain), and remove wristwatches, wide jewellery, or anything else that might get in the way of properly applying the sunscreen. If you don't like the smell of normal sunscreen, there are alternatives that don't smell as strong (usually marketed towards kids). Sunscreen is bloody important, don't let it fall to the wayside. Remember to get your face and the back of your neck, hands, and legs.
And remember to get polarised sunglasses. Sunglasses that aren't polarised are more likely to hurt your eyes—if they tint your vision darker, then your pupils will expand, but non-polarised sunnies won't protect your eyes from UV rays, thus making things worse in the long run. You can tell if sunnies are polarised if, when you look at a digital screen and tilt your head sideways, it goes significantly darker or black. Here's a list of ways to tell that I found, actually:
Tumblr media
(Image ID: Poster titled "How to tell if your sunglasses are polarised". It reads:
Check for a test sticker. If your sunglasses are new, look at the test tag or sticker through the lens, and rotate the lens to a 60º angle. If the tag gets darker, then you know your glasses are polarised.
Find a reflective surface. Hold your glasses so that you are viewing the surface through one of the lenses. Then, rotate the glasses to a 60º angle, and see if the glare gets better or worse. If the sunglasses are polarised, the glare will diminish.
Compare two pairs. Look through two pairs of sunglasses at the same time, and rotate one pair 60º to the other. If both pairs are polarised, the overlapping lenses will become darker. If this doesn't happen, at least one pair is not polarised.
Turn on a computer. Polarised lenses and most computer screens use the same anti-glare technology. Look through your lenses at the screen, and rotate your glasses to a 60º angle. If they're polarised, the lenses will turn black.
Assess your view. Use the polarised lens simulator below to see what your view should look like. If your lenses are polarised, glare disappears, colours brighten, and visibility becomes crystal clear.
End ID)
OH ALSO. If you have darker skin or don't burn, you still need to stay sun safe!! You might not burn easily or at all, but that doesn't mean you aren't getting UV rays. Melanin will not protect you from skin cancer.
N.B.: The clothing tips are for hot + dry environments. YMMV in humid areas.
N.B. the second: You're being exposed to UV rays regardless of if it's warm or not. You can get sunburned in winter (though you're less likely to, because you tend to be wearing more clothes). It's best practice to stay out of the sun even if it's cold or cloudy.
be pro-aging but wear sun screen. sun protection is not beauty industry propaganda it will save you. wear it. or else.

Tips for Protecting Your Eyes During Outdoor Activities
When you’re outside enjoying sports or recreation, your eyes are exposed to elements like UV radiation, wind, dust, and debris. These hazards can cause anything from minor irritation to long-term eye damage if precautions aren’t taken. Let’s go over some straightforward tips to keep your eyes protected and comfortable, so you can fully enjoy your outdoor adventures!
Choosing the Right Eyewear
The best way to protect your eyes outside is with proper eyewear. Look for sunglasses or sports goggles that provide 100% UVA and UVB protection, which helps guard against harmful sun rays. Polarized lenses can also be a great choice, as they reduce glare and improve clarity—especially helpful around water [1][2].
Activity-Specific Protection
Different activities call for different types of eye protection:
Hiking and Mountaineering: Wraparound sunglasses with UV protection and polarized lenses are ideal for reducing glare at higher altitudes.
Cycling and Mountain Biking: Shatterproof polycarbonate lenses are key for protection, and good ventilation in the frames helps prevent fogging.
Water Sports: Use watertight goggles or sunglasses with impact-resistant lenses for clarity and safety.
Winter Sports: Opt for ski goggles with anti-fog features and a wide field of vision.
Team Sports: Sports goggles with impact-resistant lenses and a secure fit are a great way to stay safe during high-energy games [1].
Extra Tips for Eye Safety
Wear Protective Eyewear Consistently: Even on cloudy days, UV rays can reach your eyes, so make protective eyewear a habit.
Sunscreen and Hats: Apply sunscreen around your eyes and wear a wide-brimmed hat to keep UV rays at bay.
Stay Hydrated: Dry eyes are common in arid or windy environments. Hydration helps keep them comfortable.
Limit Screen Time: If you’re outdoors and checking devices frequently, remember to take breaks to prevent eye strain [2].
Why UV Protection Matters
Long-term exposure to UV rays is linked to eye issues like cataracts, macular degeneration, and even eye cancer. Quality eyewear with UV protection is essential for avoiding these potential problems [1].
Boosting Your Performance
Good eyewear doesn’t just protect your eyes—it can enhance your experience. By reducing glare and improving focus, quality lenses help you see better in all kinds of light and weather conditions, keeping you performing at your best [1].
Final Thoughts
Taking steps to protect your eyes during outdoor activities is key to preserving your vision and getting the most out of your adventures. From choosing the right eyewear to applying a few simple safety tips, investing in eye protection is an investment in your eye health and well-being. Happy exploring!

Tips for Maintaining Eye Health: A Comprehensive Guide
Tumblr media
Our eyes are often described as windows to the world, allowing us to experience the beauty and wonder that surrounds us. However, in today's digital age, our eyes are subjected to increasing amounts of strain from prolonged screen time, environmental pollutants, and lifestyle factors. Taking care of our eyes is crucial to maintaining good vision and overall well-being. In this blog post, we will discuss some effective tips for maintaining optimal eye health.
1. Regular Eye Exams
One of the most important steps in maintaining eye health is scheduling regular eye exams. Comprehensive eye exams can detect vision problems, eye diseases, and other issues early on, allowing for timely intervention and treatment. Adults should have an eye exam at least once every two years, or more frequently if advised by an eye care professional.
2. Protect Your Eyes from UV Rays
Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun can contribute to eye damage, including cataracts and age-related macular degeneration. When outdoors, wear sunglasses that block at least 99% of UVA and UVB rays. Additionally, consider wearing a wide-brimmed hat for added protection.
3. Practice Proper Screen Habits
With the prevalence of digital devices, many of us spend hours each day staring at screens. To reduce eye strain and discomfort:
Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break and focus on something at least 20 feet away.
Position your screen at eye level and about an arm's length away to reduce strain on your eyes and neck.
Use anti-glare screens or filters to minimize glare and reflections.
Adjust screen brightness and contrast to comfortable levels.
4. Maintain a Healthy Diet
A nutritious diet plays a vital role in eye health. Include foods rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and E, omega-3 fatty acids, and zinc:
Leafy greens like spinach and kale
Fatty fish such as salmon and tuna
Citrus fruits, berries, and nuts
Carrots, sweet potatoes, and bell peppers
Eggs, lean meats, and whole grains
5. Stay Hydrated
Proper hydration is essential for maintaining the moisture levels in your eyes. Drink an adequate amount of water throughout the day to prevent dryness and irritation. Limit consumption of caffeinated and alcoholic beverages, as they can contribute to dehydration.
6. Practice Good Hygiene
To prevent eye infections and irritation, follow these hygiene tips:
Wash your hands frequently, especially before touching your eyes or handling contact lenses.
Replace contact lenses and their cases as recommended by your eye care provider.
Avoid rubbing your eyes, as it can introduce bacteria and irritants.
7. Quit Smoking
Smoking is linked to an increased risk of eye diseases such as cataracts, macular degeneration, and optic nerve damage. If you smoke, consider quitting to protect your vision and overall health.
8. Get Adequate Sleep
Quality sleep is crucial for eye health and overall well-being. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night to allow your eyes to rest and rejuvenate. Create a relaxing bedtime routine and avoid screens at least an hour before bedtime to promote better sleep.
9. Exercise Regularly
Regular physical activity improves blood circulation, which is beneficial for eye health. Engage in activities like walking, jogging, yoga, or swimming to promote overall wellness and reduce the risk of eye-related conditions.
10. Follow Doctor's Recommendations
Finally, follow your eye care provider's recommendations regarding vision correction, eye drops, and any prescribed medications. Attend follow-up appointments as scheduled to monitor your eye health and address any concerns promptly.
By incorporating these tips into your daily routine, you can take proactive steps to protect and maintain your precious eyesight. Remember, good eye health is a lifelong commitment that pays off in clarity, comfort, and a brighter outlook on life.

Remnants
Magic has always been a risky practice. Sarah Gold knew this, the lessons from her father having hammered that truth into her mind from the moment her own magical ability manifested. Those lessons also taught her that magic was an incredible gift, one that it was a mage's duty to use constructively and help others with.
This was why, every morning, Sarah went out to the McElroy farm to ensure the crops were still growing and healthy. It was an arduous task, almost as hard as Mr. McElroy's job of mundanely managing the crop, since she had to check each plant individually. But the lemonade Mrs. McElroy provided made it all worth it.
"How have your studies been going, dear?" Mrs. McElroy asked as Sarah chugged a glass one hot summer afternoon, sitting on her porch after finishing with the daily checkup. "I hear your brother has recently developed his own magic."
"Yes, he has." Sarah nodded. "My father hopes for him to go into the same school as me."
"Well, I certainly won't complain. Our crops have never been better before you started helping us out. I can only imagine how much yield two young magi can provide!"
Sarah smiled and emptied the glass, which was quickly replaced by another brimming with more lemonade. She stopped with it raised partway to her lips when she saw someone staring at her from the field, almost hidden among the wheat. Upon being sighted, they quickly vanished amongst the stalks.
Was that Bowman McElroy? Sarah hadn't seen him around very often lately, almost as if he was avoiding her. Oh well, she wasn't going to worry about it too much.
"Thanks for the lemonade, Mrs. McElroy." Sarah said as she stood up, setting the half-full glass on the table. "I'll see you tomorrow."
"Yep. You take care now, Sarah!"
The two waved at each other as Sarah left, heading back to her home to help her father with her brother's first lessons.
Tomorrow didn't come, though. Not for the Gold family.
It was still the middle of the night when Sarah was jolted awake by something she couldn't immediately identify. It was hotter than normal, even for summer, and she smelled something off, like burning...
  Fire. Something was on fire.
Adrenaline took hold at the moment she realized that, and she bolted out of bed and out of her room. A wall of fire met her, stopping her in her tracks. It had already engulfed a good chunk of the house, and Sarah couldn't see any way to go besides down the stairs, towards the main room. But her parents, her brother-
A beam falling less than a meter away made Sarah's choice for her, and she hurried down the stairs and burst through the front door. She had hoped, prayed, to see her family waiting for her, having already gotten out. But instead she encountered several robed people, watching impassively as her home burned behind her.
"Why are you just watching?!" she demanded, desperation in her voice. "We need water, we need-"
"We need nothing of the sort." One of them, in more ornate robes than the others, interrupted her, glaring at her with enough hatred to make her take a step back. "Seize her."
Before she could process this sudden turn of events, two of the robed figures had grabbed her by the arms and were dragging her away, struggling and cursing and screaming for her parents. But nobody came, and the burning house steadily fell into itself.
By the time the group stopped walking, Sarah had stopped trying to get free. It was too late, her family was surely dead by now. A cold numbness had taken hold of her heart, especially after she realized who these people were. Her father had told her about them, and she recognized the robes from his descriptions. Members of the Church of the Aura, a violent anti-mage faction in the wider Manna faith. She briefly wondered how they had found her, but it didn't matter.
She looked up as she was forced to her feet, having given up the use of her legs at least ten minutes ago. A noose was being set up in a tree. A noose that she could already see herself swinging from.
The desperation she'd felt earlier rekindled itself, and she once again started struggling against her captors, demanding to be freed, screaming for help. Surely someone must have noticed the blaze, must have seen her being dragged away? She screamed as she was dragged to the tree and lifted up, as the noose was fixed around her neck, as she was dropped, as she was strangled by gravity.
Sarah looked, for the last time, at the town that she had lived her whole life in, at the people she'd helped by ensuring they had enough food. The people who had repaid her kindness with apathy. And closer, the people who had killed her for no good reason.
The last few seconds of Sarah's life were filled with vicious, violent anger.
  ---
Sarah awoke in dank darkness. She naturally tried to gasp for air, but got only a mouthful of dirt instead. Strangely, she felt no need to try and cough it up. She didn't stop to dwell on it, though, instead focusing on digging herself out of the hole she was inexplicably buried in. It didn't take long, the dirt was still loose and it was fairly shallow.
How did she get here? Where is here? What happened? Where is her family? These questions ran through Sarah's head as she pulled herself onto the surface. She was in a forest... The forest near the town.
  The town...
The events flashed back into her mind in an instant. The fire. The Auraites. The noose. The rage. That rage returned, accompanied by confusion. She was dead, she had certainly died at the hands of those murderous bastards. So why...
The sun peaking through the canopy above provided the answer. Sarah hissed as it struck her skin, bringing pain, and she quickly retreated to proper shade. Only the undead were harmed by the sun's rays, which meant she had to be undead. A revenant. And the reason she was back in the land of the living was clear.
The rage overtook Sarah as her disbelief faded, as well as a terrible hunger stronger than any she'd felt before, and her vision quickly turned red. With no concern for the pain from the sunlight, or that she was still wearing her dirt covered nightgown, the newly risen revenant rushed in the direction of the town.
She ignored the stares and shouts of the townsfolk as she bolted down the road, focused solely on finding the Auraites who had murdered her. And find them she did, already on their way out of town, their numbers slightly greater than when they had arrived. They didn't have time to react before she had slammed into the one in the very back of the group, and before they all turned around she was sucking the victim's soul out of her mouth, reducing her body to a withered husk.
Sarah wasn't fully aware of what she did afterward, only that there was a lot of screaming and cursing and swinging of blades. When the dust settled and she finally regained her senses, she was surrounded by corpses. Some withered by soultheft, others decayed into unrecognizability. Only one was left alive, the leader of the group, trying to crawl away from Sarah's wrath.
She marched over and grabbed his robe, pulling him an inch from her face. "Who told you about my family?" She demanded. The main stammered and stumbled over his words, prompting Sarah to slap him. "Answer me!"
"Th-the McElroy boy." He finally spat out, tears dripping down his cheeks. "Bowman. Bowman McElroy."
Bowman. Of all the people, that was the last one she expected. The son of the couple she'd spent years managing the crops of, ensuring a constant flow of food for the town and income from selling the excess. That absolute ungrateful bastard!
"Please, I'm sorry, let me g-" Another slap silenced the Auraite. Without a hint of the mercy that was denied her, Sarah forced open his mouth and drew out his soul, consuming it just as she had consumed the others.
Her revenge was almost finished. Sarah dropped the freshly decayed corpse and left it, and the rest of the remains, there and went for the McElroy farm. She found Bowman working the fields, focused on his work. Too focused to see her coming up from behind until it was too late.
When that was done, she left his body behind. She couldn't stay here, not anymore. Not a chance in hell she was still welcome, after her change and the violence she'd just performed. Not that she gave a damn. These people could rot for all Sarah cared.
She never saw that town again, and never knew what became of it without its guardian magi. Her old life behind her, Sarah decided on a new name while she was waiting in the forest for night to fall, so she could start the journey to the next town.
From now on, she'll be known as Styx Morte, avatar of justice and revenge.

Bodyguard. PT2. Ask and you shall receive. Apologies if there's any errors or mistakes. Enjoy :)
Warnings. Detailed smut, sex toys, kinks. Double penstration, anal sex. Vaginal sex. Drugging.
“Ma'am perhaps the Royal blue will suit better?”
“I agree Miss its very regal, it’ll bode well with the room decor”
“Quite, I’ll go ahead and began the..”
“Silence”, I screeched shocking even myself at the abrupt outburst of my vocals. I am sick of people making decisions for me as if I’m not here. As if I’m incapable of making a choice. “Red, I want the gown to be vermillion. Not blue”, I hissed.
In as little as thirty six hours I shall be attending my coronation. As a sovereign to take my oath. Nodding in a trance the dress makers leave hurriedly.
Fine hairs prickle my spine as the wooden doors slam, tapping of leather on laminate pricks my ears. Warmth fills my body after the chill from the draft, nothing has changed in those moments except the entrance of my bodyguard. Floating around light as dove feathers, not a sinless. Depths darker than the abys.
Since that fateful night he claimed my Innocence, he hasn’t returned for anything other than his job. Wanting glares no longer a thing, tension in the air cleared.
I was a one time conquest. Gaining nothing from our time accept, a wrath full of biohazard. Scorned from his seductive promise to return, sat upon my bed poised and ready for him. Tears shed from stupidity, melded into vexation. A thirst to be respected, desire to be fucking heard. Where’s the quiet, demure heir gone? Oh, she died. Good riddance as from her ashes rose a phoenix bold, courageous and anti bullshit.
One other thing has changed, I managed to bribe a servant to order me some items off the Internet. Items frowned upon for a woman of my status. Years of feeling empty, unfulfilled were replaced the day I sampled cock for the first time. Filled me perfectly, overwhelmingly brimmed with a pulsing, thick flesh between my thighs. Ahh just the flash back makes me wet. Not to mention the orgasm has me reeling, praising all the gods for creating a high so delicious. He wanted me to beg for more. I will do no such thing, I tracked down sex toy designers anonymously with a hefty lump sum Father believed was for learning materials. After the package arrived I spent hours chasing my release, vibrators with a girth and speed deadly. My legs would quake, failing to support me. Clit stimulators that you could lubricate, it would latch to the bud flicking like a tongue. Even to the point I bought faux cum to fill myself as I bounced on the ones I could stick to surfaces. It was an addiction I need it daily. Not stopping until my cunt leaked, bruised and used.
Two palms pulled me flush to a chest, I gasped forgetting he was even there as I had slipped into my dirty mind.
“What you thinking about princess?”, His voice dry and hushed.
“Nothing, nothing at all”, I hummed, shifting out of his hold before falling captive to the charms.
“Don’t act like you don’t want a repeat, baby” ,Smirking as my back remained facing him. Got you.
Swivelling on my heels I turned to meet the lust in his hues and that smirk I would mutilate for. “I don’t need you”, Smiling sweetly as I sashayed past him.
“All that confidence, it’ll be your downfall darling”
Huff a laugh, I glance over my shoulder as I stand in the crack doorway. “Or will I be yours?” Slowly shutting it behind me.
Hour after gruelling hour passed by. Table arrangements, party favours. Guest list, the order of events. Its nauseating all I wanted was to have my evening meal and retire to my boudoir. Currently myself and father are sat in the dinning quarters, feasting on a freshly prepared banquet. Due to their hard work and skill; the three guards have been invited to join us. Two burly men sat beside his highness now I know to identify as August and Solomon.
You guessed it, I got Malfoy.
“Y/N how is the preparations for your special day coming along?” Father spoke up, causing me to set my cutlery and face him.
“Wonderful sir, everything is going according to schedule”
“You do realise dear that there will be potential suitors attending”
“What on earth for?” I hissed, jumping slightly as a cold palm grazed my bare thighs.
“A future queen will need a king”
“Can’t I find my own?” Composing my voice to remain calm.
“You are not permitted to leave the castle, he also has to be of royal calibre” The older man’s, fists clenched on top of the table.
“I do not see how that is fair” A tight squeeze wrapped my skin, warning me silently.
“You don’t get a choice”
“May I be excused?” I retorted abruptly standing, almost causing my chair to topple.
“You’ve barely touched you..”
“I wish to leave the table”
“Very well, your meal will be brought to your room”
I need to blow of some steam before I go down there and behead the bastard. Just when I think I’ve reclaimed control I haven’t really. Everyone will always be ahead of me. I’m merely an extra in this theatrical performance deemed to be my life.
Reaching for my locked silver box, I pull out the mostly satisfying dildo I own. It’s around 8 inches, thick by around four. Veined and bends slightly to the left, hitting spots I’ve never seen on a diagram. Layering a fair amount of passion fruit lube over it, I can already feel my natural lube soaking the tiles. Suctioning it to the floor, secure enough to ride I begin. Straddling it as I grasp the rubbed shatter, sighing in relief as it breaches me. Slowly sliding down relinquishing in the pleasure. Palm flat to the ground to support my movement. It was glorious I fucking needed this. Moaning loudly as I kept a steady pace, settling back to begin bouncing, digits gripping my own roots. Mentallt visioning erotic male grunts, tight grip on my hips. Lips tarnishing my skin. Jaw dropping, eyes sealed and neck bent back to the point of almost snapping as I feel the sweat trickle my bare skin.
That’s when I hear it, as my senses realign. Sounds of pounding on flesh, sighs and panting. Fluttering my lids open there he was – Draco. Leant on the door frame, digits sheathing his cock. Fuck, he is beautiful. Mouth agape, brows knotted to a V in pleasure.
I want him in me. My mouth, my pussy. Any hole just take it their all yours. I’ll sign over the rights.
Striding towards me never stopping his fast pumps. To gue shooting out to wet his lip. Chuckling as I stayed startled and planted with a faux dick deep within.
“Baby, if you needed to feel pleasure I could have given it to you again”
“I-I wanted to be in control of something”
Removing his hands from himself, hissing as his length hit his stomach. He knelt before me, it was so close I could taste him on my tongue. My head titled up with the assistance of his fingers, thumb rubbing my bottom lip. He smirked as my wide eyes.
“You want to taste me princess?” Without hesitation I nodded. “Open up, tongue out flat”
“I’ve never ..”
“I’ll guide you through it” Pressing the engorged tip on my tongue. He slid slowly into the warmth of my mouth. “Close your lips around me, do not bite just graze” Following instructions as fingers laced into the tendrils of my scalp, making a muffled moan sound. Hearing guttural sounds emit from Draco, as he moved himself at a comfortable pace. Sucking in my cheeks as if second nature, his movements quickened. Gagging and spluttering around him.
Thumb rubbing my cheek bones, “Breath through your nose, relax your throat” Closing my eyes I allowed my body to do as it needed, fully aware I still had a large vibrator deep inside me. Clenching around it in desperation.
“Take control kitty. Use daddy” I did just that alternating my techniques between licking and sucking. Feeling as his end prodded the back of my throat.
“Good girl, fuck you’d warm”
“That’s it keep that rhythm” His praises spurred me to continue, palms gripping his thighs. Rocking back onto the toy. Giving us both unbelievable pleasure, if is the only control I get. I’ll take it.
“Oh Holy- baby don’t stop” I wasn’t planning to, I never wanted to take him out of my mouth. He could live there rent free. Whining like a child as he pulled himself out of me, making my eyes snap open. Gripping my to control himself. He began circling me like prey.
Smirking devilishly, I squirmed nervously. Feeling my arousal drown the rubber. Letting his fingers drag along my collar bone.
There was a shift in his eyes, I swear Lucifer himself winked at me. He stood directly behind me, the clicks of his knees sounded as he settled back slightly on his call. I felt a prodding at my tight puckered hole, causing me to go rigid. Remembering the words he uttered after our last time together.
“You want to feel full, so full you can’t take no more?” Mumbling a ‘yes’ I felt my stomach sink in apprehension. “This will make you gag on feeling” A breech of my back entrance made me shudder as he grasped my left breast twiddling the nipple gently.
“That’s it sweet girl, let me in” “I promise it’ll feel so good” I accepted the sting moving myself against him as his fingers explored me. The dildo struggling to remain in its fixed position as my juices moistened the friction.
“Think you can handle my cock in there? I think you could your my good girl. You’d do anything to accommodate daddy oh so well” Yes, I would. I’d do anything.
He pulled his fingers away leaving me a begging mess, I heard his spit onto something. Startled at the wet feeling placed back on my arsshole. Wrapping one arm around me bring me close, he began pushing in. Placing kisses on my neck as a distraction. It was uncomfortable, unnatural yet it felt fucking amazing.
“Oh fuck you tight – shit baby loosen up your pushing me out” Starting a slow rhythm as he gripped me in both arms now. Moving my petite size over him like a rag doll. Stars scattered my hues, as I crumbled. Moaning deeply in pained pleasure.
“Fuck – I wish I could have two cocks and feel you at the same time”
“Greedy, I’d be so greedy with you” Each word tipping further over the edge. Groans vibrated from him shivering my spine. This erotic moment was everything, I wanted to remain here.
“Let me switch, let me feel your cunt. Supple and ready for breeding” Removing himself so quickly from me it hurt, he pulled me off the fake dick. Laying down on his back grasping at his length. Panting and sweaty. I was delirious barely able to support my own weight I crawled over the top of him. Capturing his lips on mine as I slowly sunk down on to him. He immediately began rutting, as my hips met his bouncing rapidly.
“Fuck – that’s it baby. Oh fuck me blind” screaming and shaking as my orgasm smacked me in the pussy. Clenching him in choke hold, as his thighs tensed. Falling with me, he looked fucking gorgeous we he cummed.
“God, baby I’m proud of you. No man will get your hand, no your fucking mine”
“My toy, my cunt, my incoherent little slut”
“Daddy’s dirty princess”
He cradled my limp tired figure against his sticky chest, before guiding us to the shower. Concentrating of cleaning me up as he held me tightly. Nursing the bruises and pain he caused. It was gentle, he whispered sweet words into my ear as I fought the urge to sleep.
Slipping me into a nightdress, carefully placing me in the plush sheets of my bed. Nestling of his right side, next to me.
“Do you wish for us to be together?”
“More than anything, father would not allow it” I sighed ,in a dozed state. Eyes heavy and fucked out.
“What if I told you there was a way?” He mused, causing my lids to snap open staring in bewilderment.
“Wh-what?”
“Would you give me your full trust?” My head nodded before I even registered what I agreed to. We hardly knew one another.
“Of course”
Slipping off the bed, he reached for his suit trousers pulling out what looked like a flip phone. Raising it to his ear as he kept eye contact, inaudible words came from the other end as he simply smiled at me whispering “Begin”
Within minutes shattering of glass vibrated, thuds of hard boots and shots echoed. Widening my eyes I pressed my back to the headboard, fearing for my own safety.
“It’s ok, don’t be frightened”
“Wha-whats happening?”
“See when your father hired me to protect you from a threat” , He twitched two fingers on each hand as if the statement was false. Chuckling deeply as he untucked a small vile and a cloth from his suit jacket.
Slowly drifting towards me once again, “There wasn’t a threat, not really”
“I-I ..” Words stuck in my throat as he knelt in front of me dabbing a strong smelling liquid onto the thick fabric.
“I just wanted you..” He stroked my cheek with the gauze causing me to cough. Before gripping the back of my head with his free hand, pushing my mouth and nose to be covered by the toxins. I thrashed, punched and scratched with no success.
“Don’t fight please, this is the only way we can be together I had to do it this way. I’ve watched you for years waiting for the right time. Now I can’t let you slip away”
As my vision blurred, alarms sounded around the castle loud screams followed.
‘The kingdoms under attack-‘
‘Breach, there’s a breach in the Royal guards’
‘Imposter..’
‘The monarchy has fallen..’ Lids fluttering shut as he stood surrounded by masked men. Brushing hair behind my ear.
“Long live the princess” He beamed as my vision turned black.

Green With Envy
Pairing: Dream / Clay x f!reader
Summary: [Dream SMP!AU] In Dream’s opinion, you and Sapnap are getting a bit too close for comfort. Combine that with a war, and it looks like he’s in way over his head.
Warnings: some cursing (because Tommy exists) + tw// injury
Word Count: 3.9k
A/N: requested by an anon who wanted some dream angst with a fluffy ending! the story takes place during the attack on L’Manberg. love to see that my first dream work is just packed to the brim with tropes. i had a bit of a rough time mapping this one out, but i hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
Tumblr media
Dream let out a yawn as he walked into the living room, ruffling his hair as he went. “Good morning,” he greeted, collapsing onto the nearest couch.
On the other side of the room, you groaned. “‘Good morning’, my ass,” you muttered. “Mornings suck.”
He let out a small laugh at that, admiring your form sitting across from him. You were easily the biggest anti-morning person he knew. You could probably write a whole essay on why they were just the worst. But right now, in this moment, you looked absolutely adorable curled up in the couch cushions. Your hair was a complete mess, your clothes were askew, and a frown was plastered to your face.
Yet you were still so beautiful.
He wondered how you did it—how you managed to be so effortlessly wonderful in that special way of yours. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but he was sure of one thing.
He liked you. A lot.
If only he knew how to tell you.
Sapnap strolled into the room, holding a glass of milk. “Morning, cuties,” he hummed, taking a sip. He glanced down at the grumbling couch lump that was you. “Is [Y/N] being a grump, again?”
Dream nodded, offering him a crooked smile. “You know it.”
For a moment, Sapnap paused. Then a devilish smile crossed his face and he set his glass down on the coffee table. He leapt over the back of the couch, crashing into the space next to you. Leaning over, he wrapped his arm around your smaller figure and pulled you into his chest.
Dream froze in his spot.
What. The hell.
You let out a yelp at the sudden movement, your frown deepening. “Sapnap,” you said, “what are you—”
“Wakey, wakey!” he cried, his fingers going for your sides in a tickle attack. In an instant, you were howling with laughter, tears springing to your eyes as you kicked your arms and legs. Dream’s throat constricted at the sight, his heart beating faster at the sight of your smile but sinking knowing that he wasn’t the cause of it.
“Snappitus!” you screeched, smacking his head. “Snapmap, stop!” You let out a wheeze. “Oh my god, Sapnap! I’m going to kill y—”
Sapnap finally relented, dropping you back onto the couch cushion with a smile. “That’s the first time I think I’ve seen you smile in the morning, [Y/N].” He jut his thumb into his chest triumphantly. “And it was all thanks to me.”
You heaved, catching your breath before turning to look at him. “Snappitus Nappitus,” you crooned, reaching your hand over towards his face. He looked at you inquisitively. Suddenly, you flicked his forehead, and he fell back with a yelp.
“Dude!” he cried, glaring up at you from where he lay sprawled on the ground. “What the hell was that for?”
You cackled at his reaction, kicking at his armour. “Because you’re an idiot for thinking it was a good idea to do that.”
Sapnap let out a groan of defeat as he asked for you to at least pass him an ice pack for his “grave wound”. On the other side of the room, Dream’s expression was cold. A stone of uneasiness sank to the bottom of his stomach as he stood up, walking out of the living room with a heaviness in his step that he didn’t walk in with.
So, he thought to himself, his gut churning.
Sapnap, huh?
Tumblr media
The sun glared down at the earth from the sky, not a single cloud to be seen. Dream squinted up at it as he surveyed the weather.
The scheduled day to negotiate with L’Manberg over their territory had finally come.
Under any other circumstances, Dream would be having much more fun preparing for the journey, knowing very well that he was about to see some serious destruction. But today, he was in a terrible mood, and for one reason only.
For the past week, you and Sapnap had been spending practically every second together.
When Dream had sent Sapnap to burn down the forest surrounding L’Manberg’s walls, he had invited you to come with him. When Dream had asked you to hunt creepers to retrieve the gunpowder necessary for the TNT, you had brought Sapnap with you.
And he didn’t think it could get any worse, but even now, you were laughing at something Sapnap was saying, your grin shining brighter than the sun hanging in the sky above you.
Dream was tired of it.
“You have the dynamite sticks, right?” he asked, leading his horse away from the house.
George froze, then let out a long whine. “I forgot it in the storage house. Now, I have to go all the way back to get it.”
Despite his terrible mood, Dream let out a chuckle. “You’re so dumb, George,” he said teasingly, sending him a smirk. “How could you forget the most crucial part of the plan?”
George groaned. “I don’t know! I just forgot, okay?”
He waved a hand at him, pulling out his saddle. “Just go and grab some quickly, alright? We’ll wait for you until you get back.”
George nodded, hopping onto his horse. “I’ll be back soon.” With a snap of his reins, he was dashing down the hill toward the storage warehouse.
The moment he disappeared over the hill, Dream’s smile vanished along with him. In the corner of his eye, he could see Sapnap chasing after you with a stick, his boots in your hand. A twinge of jealousy ran up his spine.
Wait—jealousy? No way. Dream wasn’t jealous, not one bit.
With a deep sigh, he diverted his attention to attaching the saddle in his hands to his horse. Mere moments after he placed it upon his horse’s back, he heard footsteps approach him. He already knew who it was without having to look up.
“What do you want?” he said coldly, not bothering to look at you as he began clasping the saddle buckles shut.
You shifted your weight from foot to foot. “Well, um,” you said, “I wanted to come over and say hi—”
“Cool, hi,” Dream said, cutting you off. He turned, looking at you properly now. “You can go, now.”
You looked taken aback by his words before your expression shifted into a frown. “What’s gotten into you, Dream? You’re not acting like yourself.”
He resisted the urge to roll his eyes. “Oh, am I?” He gestured behind you. “I’m just saying you can leave, now. You did what you came to do, right?”
You were appalled. “Why are you acting like this? I just wanted to hang out with you for a bit before we left.”
Didn’t you get it? He was trying to do you a favour. Before he could stop himself, he snapped, “Why don’t you just hang out with ‘Snappitus Nappitus’?”
A sinking feeling dug itself into his chest at the pang of hurt that shot across your face. But in an instant, it was gone, your expression hardening. His mouth went dry.
“Fine,” you spat, fixing your eyes on him with a glare. “Maybe I will.”
You turned on your heel, stomping away to the other side of the base, inevitably making your way over to Sapnap to complain. Dream’s eyes trailed after you as you walked off, something stinging behind his eyes.
Why did he say that? He shouldn’t have taken his anger out on anyone, let alone you—the one he cherished most.
He felt sick.
“Dream,” a voice said behind him. “I got the dynamite. Ready to go?”
He turned to see George behind him, seated on his horse with a flint and steel in hand. Taking a deep breath, Dream hoisted himself onto his own horse, picking up the reins with a heavy heart.
“Yeah.”
Tumblr media
“Big D! What’s the fuck?!”
Dream grimaced under his mask, the string keeping his patience together wearing thinner by the second.
He and his SMP had been in L’Manberg for no longer than five minutes, and he already wanted to declare war and call it a day.
“I’ve already presented you with your ultimatum, Tommy.”
Tommy snorted. “Yeah, and it’s a bad one. ‘Give up your land or we’ll light three sticks of dynamite’,” he mocked. He turned to look at Tubbo with a grin. “Tell me that’s not the worst ultimatum you’ve ever fuckin’ heard, Tubbo.”
Tubbo offered a cheerful grin. “It’s a pretty bad ultimatum, yeah.”
Tommy nodded, looking back at Dream with a triumphant smile. “You see, Big D? Your deal sucks. It’s fucking terribl—”
Dream let out a deep sigh. “Tommy, I’m really not in the mood for this.” His form turned toward you for a split second, taking in the sight of your figure next to Sapnap’s before looking back at Tommy. “Let’s just get this over with. What’s your decision?”
The blond blinked at him for a second, a shit-eating grin spreading across his face. “Oooh, are you having women problems?”
Dream’s grip on his sword stiffened, his fingers twitching. “What,” he said, his tone harsh, “are you talking about it?”
Tommy shrugged. “I’m just saying, you might be having some.” He gestured to himself, smiling pompously. “If you were like me, you wouldn’t have these kinds of problems, because I’m an expert at women.”
The string thinned another fraction. “Sure you are, Tommy.”
Just then, Wilbur spoke up. “Tommy doesn’t know what he’s talking about, ignore him.” His smile mirroring Tommy’s. “But say, Dream,” he drawled, his gaze flickering back and forth between you and him, “do you happen to know the saying ‘green with envy’?”
Dream’s breath hitched. If he said one more wor—
Wilbur narrowed his eyes teasingly. “Because to me, it seems to be you’re covered in green from head to toe—inside and out.”
And the string snapped.
“George,” he said, his voice devoid of emotion, “set it off.”
The group looked at him in alarm, their eyes wide as George began, “A-Are you sur—”
“Just set it off!” he shouted, a fury like none other taking over him. How dare Wilbur of all people tease him—taunt him? How dare he? Maybe it was a bad idea, but he was done with negotiating.
It was time.
Without any more questions, Dream watched as George lit three sticks of dynamite, tossing them onto the ground ahead of them. The moment the sticks hit the ground, George yelled, “Go, get out, get out, get out!”
Every member of Dream’s faction turned, rushing for the entrance just as the first explosion rang out. Screams rang out all around him, Tommy cursing incessantly while Fundy screeched. Hidden under his mask, a grin stretched across his face at the sound of destruction. He was a single step away from the exit when Sapnap let out a desperate yell.
“[Y/N]!”
Dream stopped, turning to look over his shoulder. The explosions were still ringing out around him, but what he saw horrified him.
You laid on the ground with an arrow pinned to the train of your satchel, leaving you stuck on the ground. Above you, a chunk of the L’Manberg walls was dangerously close to unlatching itself and falling on you. All it would take was a few more explosions for that section of the wall to come crashing onto you, and Dream knew that they had hidden more than enough TNT under the country to make that happen.
You were tugging desperately on your satchel, unsheathing your sword to cut yourself loose, but Dream knew there wasn’t enough time.
He didn’t allow himself even a single second to process what was happening—he simply bolted.
In one moment, he was turning to head out of the base. In the next, he was tackling you to the ground, his taller figure shielding yours as he pinned you to the earth below.
“Drea—?”
The ear-splitting train of explosions cut you off, and Dream felt a surge of white hot pain sear up his back as the chunk of wall slammed into his back. He was vaguely aware of the fact that his armour was cracking. He knew he should have repaired it when he had the chance.
Just then, his mask slid off his face, landing squarely on your chest. The strap must have snapped, he thought distantly to himself. The ringing in his ears was deafening, and he could just barely make out the sight of you crying out underneath him, your lips forming his name—his real name.
It was a shame he couldn’t hear your voice saying it. He’s sure it would sound lovely.
Then the world went dark.
Tumblr media
Something cool brushed over his face, and Dream felt himself being pulled out of unconsciousness.
Where... am I?
Slowly, he opened his eyes, blinking while then drowsiness seeped out of his eyes. It must be late afternoon, given how warm and light it was. Letting his eyes readjust to the brightness of the day, he took in the sight of the space around him. It only took a few seconds for him to figure out that he was in his room. He recognized those chests, his messy desk, the curtains framing the open window. A breeze must have been what woke him up.
Why am I here?
He thought back in his mind, trying to recall the last memory he had experienced.
The battle. His SMP. L’Manberg. Tommy. Wilbur. Ultimatum. Dynamite.
He grimaced.
Oh. Right. That.
He vaguely wondered if their side had won, but also knew that he was missing something. He could have sworn there was more to the battle than just that. What was it?
He felt a weight pressing down on the bed just next to him. Glancing down, his heart stuttered in his chest at the sight of you sitting in a chair next to him, leaned over and fast asleep on the edge of his bed. The images flashed through his mind.
Taunting. The wall. You. Pain. Heat. Your lips mouthing his name. Darkness.
Ah. He remembered, now.
He shifted slightly, feeling a dull pain shoot up his side. Wincing, he pulled back the covers, looking down. He was wearing a new shirt and sweatpants—clean clothes, thank goodness. Lifting up the hem of his shirt, he grimaced at the sight of the white bandages wrapped around his torso. They definitely extended to his back as well, if he remembered correctly. So that explained the aches.
Ever so slowly, he wiggled back, ignoring each wave of pain that crashed over his spine when he did so. A few moments later, he had finally brought himself to a sitting position, your head now lying on his lap. Dream smiled fondly down at you, reaching out to stroke your hair. You were beautiful when you were sleeping. Well, you were beautiful all the time, but he digressed.
He had a million questions swirling around in his head. How long had you been sitting here? Did your back hurt from leaning over for so long? Were still mad at him?
He really hoped you weren’t.
Just then, you reached a hand to rub at your eyes, letting out a soft noise as you began to wake up. Dream’s hand immediately darted back to his side, and he watched intently as you brought yourself back to a sitting position. You let out a quiet groan as you cracked your back. It was only then that you fully opened your eye. He could practically see the recognition set in your eyes as you took in where you were before you whirled, jaw dropped as you stared at him.
“Um,” he began, suddenly feeling shy, “hey there.”
You continued to gape at him, eyes wide. “You’re awake,” you blurted.
His lips quirked. “Sure am.”
You scooted closer to him in your chair, shoulders shaking. “You’re actually awake,” you repeated, almost in disbelief.
Dream nodded, amused. “Yep. You already said that.”
All of sudden, you moved forward, climbing onto the bed so that you were sitting on your knees right beside him. He didn’t have a chance to react before you were leaned into him, weakly smacking his chest with your fists, your shoulders trembling as you did so.
“You’re. So. Stupid!” you wailed, punctuating each word with another light hit. You whipped your head up, glaring at him through your watery eyes. “Why did you do it? Why did you block me from the debris?”
Dream averted his gaze from yours, his heartbeat picking up from how close you were to his. He could only hope you couldn’t feel it through your hands. “I wake up and one of the first things you tell me is that I’m stupid?” he said, trying to avoid the topic at hand. “What a warm welcome back.”
You pressed your lips into a thin line. “Don’t change the subject, Dream. Answer the question.” Your gaze narrowed. “Why did you do it?”
He opened his mouth, then closed it. “I—I didn’t even think about it,” he admittedly truthfully. “I just moved without thinking.”
You stared at him, your brows furrowing. “But why? You should have been worried about yourself first.”
Dream blinked down at you, feeling his heart beat against his rib cage wildly. He was almost positive you could feel it.
Then it hit him, the realization sinking into his mind as clear as day.
It was now or never.
He took a deep breath, reaching up to hold your hand in his. He watched something in your gaze melt, but the question remained in your eyes.
Luckily for you, he had an answer.
“I like you,” he said. “That’s why.”
You stared at him, stunned. He felt anxiety lump in his throat.
“You do?”
He swallowed it back down.
“Yeah.”
There was a beat of silence.
And then you began to cry.
Almost instantaneously, Dream began to panic. “H-Hey,” he said gently, wrapping his arms around you carefully, “why are you crying? Did I say something wrong? I, uh—” He gulped. “It’s okay if you don’t feel the same way. I know you like Sapnap.”
Now, it was your turn to be confused. Sniffling, you wiped at your eyes. “Wh—” Hiccup. “W-What are you talking about? I don’t—I don’t like Sapnap.”
He wrinkled his brow at you. “Sure you do,” he said. “You’ve basically been all over him lately. That practically screams, ‘I love Sapnap’.”
You stared at him, your tears reduced to stained cheeks now and a slightly sniffling nose. “Sapnap and I are best friends,” you said, frowning.
He nodded. “Yeah. And you like him.”
Your frowned deepened. “No, that’s—” You stopped, and he watched as the gears turned in your head, being able to pinpoint the exact moment they clicked together.
“Dream,” you said slowly. “You think that I—” You pointed to yourself. “—like Sapnap?”
He cocked his head. “I mean, don’t you?”
You stared at him for a moment longer. “Dream,” you said again, “when you jumped in front of me, I was absolutely terrified. I didn’t know what was going on, and I only remember screaming before you just blacked out on me. We won and L’Manberg surrendered, but George had to help me carry you back. You were out for two days.”
He cringed at your words. It was good that you had won, but two days was a long time to be unconscious. He must have missed so much.
“During those two days, Dream,” you continued, “I practically didn’t leave that chair.” You pointed to the chair you had been sitting on just moments prior. “Sapnap had to drag me down to eat, and I still slept here, as you already saw.”
He gaped, absolutely shocked. You stayed by his side? For two straight days? For him?
He must have said that out loud without thinking, because you nodded and pursed your lips. “Dream,” you said, “do you know what that means?”
He blinked at you. “I don’t see how this has anything to do with you liking Sapnap.”
You let out a groan, hanging your head in your hands. “How are you this dense?” you muttered, your cheeks flushing pink. “Are you really gonna make me say it?”
He didn’t think he could be anymore confused. “Say what?”
Lifting your head, your eyes met his, your cheeks burning with heat and hands shaking. “That I like you, and not Sapnap.”
Dream froze, his brain short-circuiting in his head.
You liked him.
You liked him back.
A grin spread across his face. This was possibly the greatest day of his life.
Without wasting another minute, he pulled you into his arms, practically crushing you to his chest. You squeaked at the sudden movement, your heart swelling in your chest at the sudden display of affection. “Huh—”
“Thank god,” he murmured in your ear, his voice soaked in relief. “I genuinely thought that you were going to reject me.”
You wrapped your arms around him, careful to be gentle with his back, and smiled into his shoulder. “I thought I was being obvious, but I guess you’re just really stupid.”
Dream sighed, dizzy with affection and something that felt like love.
“Yeah, I am.”
Tumblr media
Dream let out a yawn as he walked into the living room. “Good morning,” he said, eyes darting around the room. “Has anyone seen my—”
He stopped dead in his tracks when his eyes landed on you. On the other side of the room, you were curled into the couch like you almost always were in the morning. But this time, you were wearing a green hoodie. His green hoodie.
His heart melted at the sight.
He didn’t think it was possible for you to be anymore beautiful, yet here you were, destroying all of his expectations. You never ceased to amaze him with just how wondrous you were.
He sighed, striding to the other side of the room and settling in next to you on the couch. “Never mind,” he murmured, leaning in close to nuzzle his face next to yours. “I found it.”
You giggled at his touch, pushing his face away from you. “Ugh, you’re so cheesy.”
He rolled his eyes at you, grinning. “Don’t act like you don’t eat it up.”
You huffed, turning away from him. “I’m not saying anything.”
Sapnap walked in while Dream laughed at your expression, a glass of milk in hand. “Morning,” he greeted, sitting down on the couch opposite of you two. He spared a single glance in your direction before asking, “Are you two being gross, again?”
Dreams grin widened. “You know it.”
Sapnap gagged as Dream leaned in close to your face, pressing a kiss to your cheek. “Ewww.”
Turning to face your boyfriend, you pressed a hand to his cheek and cooed. “Clay.” He leaned into your touch, his lips curling. He was right. His name did sound lovely on your lips,
You returned his smile with one of your own, moving your hand away from his cheek and towards his hairline.
All of a sudden, you flicked his forehead, pain shooting through his skull as he jumped.
“Ow!” he yelped, wincing at the slight sting of your nail against his skin. He rubbed at the red skin, glaring at you. “Why’d you do that?”
You smiled sweetly at him, but he could see your eyes glint devilishly. “Because you’re an idiot for not realizing I liked you sooner.”
From the other side of the room, Sapnap let out a cackle, pointing at Dream. “Suck it, green boy!”
Dream’s brow twitched and a dark grin crossed his face as he stood up, cracking his knuckles. “Oh, Sapnap—”
Let’s just say that Sapnap needed more than a few ice packs, that day.

Can we have a hella needy (to the point near crazed) dom Hange annihalating a GN reader's cognitive functions with a strap? Thanks :D
I certainly can. 😚
Hange just awakens something in me...
GN reader X Hange
Warning: NSFW 18+ SMUT. Mouth spitting. Slight deg. Strap on.
Tumblr media
“Levi, did you need section A3b put with the Research grant, or the Research progress report?” You ask, holding up two rather large chunks of paper work.
Levi’s eyes flicker up to you from his standing position at a table in Hange’s office; elbow deep in his own work.
“I have no idea.” He mutters honestly. “Ask shitty glasses.”
You turn to look at Hange who was usually at her desk in the corner. “Hange, do I pu-”
You freeze when you notice she’s staring at you intently, her elbows on the desk and covering her mouth with her entwined fingers; her eyes dark and an eyebrow raised. You knew that look. She was so deep in thought that you would probably have to rouse her from her daydream.
“Hange?”
“Oi, wake up.” Levi scolds, throwing a wooden pen-pot in her direction.
She flinches as it crashes onto the surface of her desk.
“Hm?” She blinks. “Sorry. I was miles away.”
“We know.” Levi mumbles with a cold glare from his steely eyes. “Which file do we put A3b into?”
“Both. You need two copies.”
You and the captain both let out an exasperated sigh, pulling out an extra sheet of paper and readying your quills.
Her chocolate pooled eyes return to you, her mind slowly sinking back into her daydream as if she were sliding into a hot bath. Those beautiful orbs latch onto your form, drinking you in deeply. You’d assumed she was pondering some science thing like she usually did. But unbeknownst to you and Levi, under her desk her legs were crossed tightly, her crotch thudding and pulsing with intense yearning for you. There was just something about you that just ignited the kerosene of her wildest, most feral desires.
The way you moved for example; to anyone else you’re just... moving. But to her its like your movements are pronounced, your unique mannerisms standing out as if the air around you were a liquid and you just sort of...stood out.
And those eyes... that smile... that ass.
You and Hange Zoe had been dating for a little while now, but it wasn’t too often you got to spend time alone these days. Erwin was really piling on the workload and the much needed anti-stress hormones only added fuel to the fire.
Her thighs tense and squeeze together, hardly not able to take the hot gushing sensation her body was providing her with; her skin heating up as she watches your furrowed brow concentrate on your writing.
She runs a hand through her hair in frustration, her leg beginning to bounce up and down with impatience.
Come on, Levi. Hurry and finish your work... She silently pleads, her nails now digging into the wood of the chair her own perfect ass was placed upon.
Her eyes enlarge when you bite your lip in concentration - the last time she saw you do that was when you were riding her face into glory. Your cum so deliciously sweet and filling. Who needed food if she had your bodily fluids to feast upon?
She relives the moments you’d come undone at her doing, your cries of pleasure melodic, your facial expressions as you -
“I’m done.” Levi finally sighs with relief, head rolling back to your direction. “You need any help? Or can I go and take a shit?”
“They’re fine.” Hange snaps her head up. “I’ll help them if they need it.”
“Okay.” Levi shrugs. “Don’t torture them too much.” he heads for the door.
Oh if only he knew.
Hange gets to her feet, slowly circling to the other side of her desk as he makes his way to the door, trying to hold herself back as much as possible during those torturous last few seconds of Captain Levi’s presence.
She follows him to the door feigning a yawn as he opens the door.
“Goodnight, Levi.”
“Night.”
Not even a second after he leaves the threshold of her office, she slams the door behind him and locks it, the loud bang catching your attention.
“H-hange?” You ask, noticing her expression as she stalks towards you - The very same she rarely showed when she was about to go ape shit over something. “S-sorry, i’m almost done I swea-”
She silences you by yanking your hair and slapping her lips off yours, tongue instantly sliding down your throat with no reservations. Her free hand rips your shirt before you even have time to register what’s going on. Her hands ravish you, like a person who’d been staved for days, finally able to get their hands on a human sized piece of meat.
“Take off your pants. Now.” She growls.
The authority in her voice sends an immediate rush of arousal down between your legs, yet you were still trying to take in what was going on. You automatically obey, sliding your trousers down your thighs, her hand grabbing your sex as soon as it tasted the fresh air.
“This is mine.” She growls, her teeth nipping your neck. “And I demand to use it. Right now.”
You nod, lips parting. “Y-yes ma’am...”
In a flash she has you bent over, face on the desk sticking to the now not-so-neat stack of papers, your hands pinned behind your back as she harshly takes her free hand and slithers it around your body, starting to rub and caress between your legs, her crotch grinding against your bare ass as her clit demands your friction.
Her long body leans down and caresses her face into your nape, hand still working you as you whine, her hips rolling against your soft flesh.
“mmm...” She groans in your ear, “Your body is mine. I can do what I like to you.” She reinforces this with a territorial sinking of her teeth, sucking your neck and leaving a nice darkening mark upon your flesh.
Hange is beyond feral.
She crossed that bridge an hour ago when you’d dropped your papers and bent over in front of her.
She was now well within the territory of hysteria.
Her grinds become more desperate, your shoulders hurting from how she hand you pinned, but it was complimented deliciously from how her hand and fingers were attentive to your sex, your knees weak as her hot breath invades you in the best possible way.
She suddenly spins you around, the relief of her grasp making you sigh deeply while you watch her remove her own trousers and unveiling her pussy - her arousal leaking from her lips and spreading to her thighs and ass as she harshly pushes you down onto your knees, pushing herself into your mouth with a high pitched whine.
“Good little soldier...” She hums, eyes closing and head throwing back as her hands rock your head at her own pace, totally under her control. “You make me feel so... ah~! so good.”
The taste of your lovers thick juices makes you whine like a little lap dog, wanting nothing more than for her to totally ruin you like the little bitch you were for her.
Her over sensitive slit that was good to blow at the best of times began to flex and quake, her loud moans warning you she was about to detonate.
Your eyes enlarge as she screams your name again and again into the heavens, her orgasm igniting the flames of your own yearning as she cusses and swears, her grip on your hair becoming tighter.
She begins to laugh softly as she comes back down to earth, the euphoria of finally having you possessing her - that succubus within her clawing its way to the surface as she throws you back onto the desk with ease, reaching into the drawer.
She'd been prepared.
She knew you were going to be in her office this evening and she wasn't about to let this chance of annihilating you slip through her starved fingers.
"Hange..." You whine in wanting when she pulls out her large strap, not taking her snug eyes off you as she fastens it to herself, adjusting it with such familiarity she didn't need to look down.
Running her tongue up your neck and into your ear, she lines it up to you, the anticipation a disgusting drug that made you feel almost ashamed to be excited to be destroyed by this magnificent woman. Hange turns you into something you weren't too familiar with, but you didn't care; especially as she slides it into you after spitting down onto your entrance.
You cry out as she thrusts, the friction on her clit from the toy enticing an evil grin as she fills you to the brim over and over again - that wild insane gleam in her eye as she smirks at you was enough to hurtle you into your own corner of lustful insanity.
"Beg for me" she hisses with malice, grabbing your face with force.
"Hange! Oh my god! Please! Harder!"
Her nails dig into your cheeks as she graces your wish, slamming herself roughly in and out of you, watching your eyes roll and cross, your body becoming a pile of mush in the palm of her hand.
She gives your cheek a squeeze. "Open."
You obey, parting your lips and flattening your tongue as she gathers spit at her lips, pushing it out with her wet muscle and watching you swallow it like it were holy water - a sinner desperate for their retribution.
Her hips slam harder, the desk clanking everything that were in the drawers as your orgasm quickly hurtles towards you.
"Cum for me." She commands.
You heard the scream. But it didn't feel like it came from you. But apparently it did as your body explodes into waves of white hot surges, rolling through you over and over again, your jaw slackening, still in Hange's grasp, your tongue falling out - the sight of this pushing your lover back into that higher plane of existence her own loud cries almost harmonising with yours and you both blindly tumble down into the void.
Hange had wanted - no needed you for days. The supernova of finally having you was more than heavenly as your ruined sex gets pushed into ecstasy again and again. Hange really does bring some dark shadow aspect of yourself to the surface. You really were just her bitch.
And you love it.

“Draco, I can’t accept this, it’s far too expensive,” Y/N’s mouth was agape as she stared down at the necklace in the little black velvet box. The charm on the end, which Y/N immediately recognized as a Protective Amulet — which they had studied in DADA — was glistening brightly, showing off its worth.
“No, it wasn’t,” Draco replied, placing his hand on hers before gently kissing her knuckles, “Besides, this can save your life, therefore it’s priceless.”
She looked up at him, still stunned speechless. She knew that Protective Amulets were rare, nearly impossible to find as they were in such high demand at this time of crisis, and she had never in a million years expected to receive one.
“What about you? You need to be protected too,” Y/N raised an eyebrow, closing up the box and placing it in her pocket, keeping it safe and away from the prying eyes of passing students. Her and Draco, although public with their relationship, tried their best to keep it as private as possible. She hated the attention they always got for being together.
“Don’t worry about me,” he brushed her off, “You know I’m in a very different position than you are.” He tapped his left forearm as a reminder that he was, in fact, fighting a very different battle than she was. When he showed Y/N the Dark Mark for the first time, they had spent the entire night crying, wrapped up in each other’s arms.
She knew it was coming. Hell, anyone who knew about Draco’s situation knew it was coming. But it didn’t change the shock and heartbreak that Y/N felt looking down at the dark ink permanently etched into the pale skin of her boyfriend. She hated looking at it. It was a reminder that Draco had no control over his life, that his entire legacy was built for him, that this was the reason he didn’t sleep nights. He was just as terrified as she was.
“You’re still dealing with You Know Who,” she pressed on, tossing a strand of her ginger hair out of her face, “If anything, you’d need even more protection. You know I always worry about you, I hate not knowing if you’re okay.”
“Love, it’s okay,” he smiled softly, sadly even, placing a hand on her shoulder and gazing into her brown eyes, “Don’t you worry about me. I can handle my end of the fight.”
Y/N squinted her eyes at him, ready to keep pressing the subject, but decided against it, “Fine. Thank you, though. It’s beautiful.” It truly was beautiful. The red gem in the centre caught her attention right away, the way that it almost seemed to glow under the bright lights.
“I’m glad you like it,” Draco said softly, placing a light kiss on her forehead and interlacing his hand with hers, “Now, should we get a move on to dinner so we can make it in time for pudding?”
Y/N grinned, placing a light kiss to his lips — which he gladly reciprocated — before the two of them made their way into the Great Hall. Draco waved ‘bye’ before making his way over to the Slytherin table, and Y/N made her way over to the Gryffindor one, sitting between her siblings.
“What’d he give you?” Ginny asked, peering over to her sister with a pressing look on her face. She had clearly watched the encounter between the two of them outside the Great Hall, making Y/N’s cheeks flush a light pink.
“A necklace,” Y/N grinned shyly, helping herself to come potatoes, “Protective Amulet, actually.”
“A what?” Ron’s mouth was agape, “Where the bloody hell did he manage to find one of those?”
Y/N shrugged, placing her fork down and taking the little box out of her pocket, making sure no one else was looking, and opened it up. Ginny and Ron looked awestruck, while Fred and George seemed to be too busy paying attention to their food to notice the commotion. Y/N placed the necklace proudly around her neck, letting the Amulet dangle between her collarbones.
“Damn,” Ginny nodded approvingly, “That little squirt has some good taste.”
Y/N giggled, admiring the way the candle light reflected off of the gems. She wasn’t one for fancy jewellery, having even told Draco not to buy her any once they started dating, but this felt like more than a show-off gesture. Him giving her something that would save her life felt like the biggest gesture he could possibly give her, one that really showed how much he cared.
When they started dating about a year ago, it was as if a fire had spread throughout both of their lives. Y/N’s family — her father in particular — were in no means ‘fans’ of the Malfoy family. In fact, although Arthur Weasley denies it, his dislike towards Lucius Malfoy grows exponentially by the day. And Draco’s family on the other hand loved to call Y/N and her family ‘blood traitors’ and ‘disgraces’ as well as making sure the fact that they were poor was very much a topic of conversation.
Both their parents were still iffy about the entire concept of their kids being together, but Y/N’s siblings had learned to accept it, much to her gratitude. Ron took longer than the rest, having dealt with Draco’s bullying first hand for five years now, but he eventually came around as long as they didn’t ‘flaunt their love’ in front of him on a daily basis.
“I reckon he didn’t get one for the rest of us, then?” Ron asked, glaring at Draco on the opposite end of the Great Hall while picking at the chicken legs on his plate.
“If you were his girlfriend I’m sure he would, Ronald,” Ginny replied, chuckling at her brother’s reaction. Y/N laughed as well, her hand still playing with the jewel around her neck as the dinner plates vanished, filling the table with multiple assortments of puddings.
“Always the best part,” Ron shoved his fork in, filling his plate to the brim.
Y/N looked over to the Slytherin table, catching Draco’s eye, and smiled widely at him, pointing to the necklace she was now wearing. He smirked at her, winking and shooting a thumbs up, going unnoticed by everyone else, but causing her entire body to flutter.

“What do you think life will be like after the war?” Y/N was twirling a strand of Draco’s hair, overlooking the grounds of Hogwarts as the two of them sat comfortably in the fresh air of the Astronomy tower. They had used this location for most of their private moments, using it to talk about anything and everything. And of course, it was a good makeout spot.
“Peaceful, I hope,” he replied, gazing up at her quickly before turning back to watch the setting sun. Their sixth year hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park. Voldemort had returned, Dumbledore was missing constantly, and with Snape as the new Defence professor, Y/N Weasley was worried their education wasn’t preparing them well enough for their eventual battle.
“Do you think we’ll win?” she asked, pulling her hand away from his hair and turning to face him with a more serious expression, “By ‘we’ I mean anti-Voldemort people. You know, the good guys.”
Draco, although his parents were forcing him to join the ‘dark side’, was still secretly fighting alongside Y/N. She had helped him overcome the urges that came with his newfound Dark Mark, and promised him she’d stick by his side no matter what. He was prepared to leave the Dark Lord’s orders if it meant keeping her safe.
“I do,” he said softly, sitting up, “I think that once the war happens, we’ll be prepared enough to take him down.”
Y/N smiled softly, brushing her hair out of her face, “Dad says he thinks it’ll happen soon. Everyone at the Ministry is in a frenzy. And Fred and George are basically the only open shop in Diagon Alley, no one wants to go out anymore. The entire Wizarding world is in a panic.”
Draco sighed, gently placing a hand on her cheek, his other hand twirling the Amulet necklace she was wearing, “Love, I can’t promise everything will end up being the way it was before, but no matter what happens, I am not leaving your side. And as long as you wear that—,” he pointed to her Amulet, “—you’ll be by mine as well. And that’s all I want. You.”
“I love you,” she grinned, pulling him in for a tender kiss, “We’ll get through this together, yeah?”
“Of course, my love.”
— —
The war had come.
As another wall came crumbling down mere meters from her, Y/N dodged out of the way, her wand still gripped tightly in her hand.
She had been preparing for this for two years now, ever since Harry had emerged from the Triwizard Maze with Cedric’s lifeless body. They had prepared for this when Dumbledore’s Army came to life, all of them training constantly to fight back against the dark forces that were bound to come.
But, as Y/N gazed around the crumbling Hogwarts, watching some of her friends die before her very eyes, she realized that nothing could have really prepared her for this.
“Petrificus Totalus!” she shouted, the Death Eater that was standing in front of her now tumbling down the staircase as stiff as a board. She watched him fall for a long while before deciding to take off down another hallway, gliding against the wall to avoid being seen. She had intelligently decide to wear all black clothing to believe she’d be well hidden, but completely ignored the fact that her bright red hair gave her away instantly. It wasn’t her best moment.
“Y/N!” Hermione and Harry came barreling around the corner, frightening her nearly half to death, followed by Ron, Percy and Fred shortly after.
“Oh, thank Merlin, it’s you guys,” she hugged her brothers quickly, noticing the deep cut on Ron’s cheek and the blood coming from Percy’s hairline. She herself had a few deep scrapes and bruises as well, the blood smeared across her face and hands. Some of it hers, some of it not.
“Why are you all alone?” Harry asked, eyes darting around the corridor with full alertness, “We should all have backup.”
“I lost Ginny after a chandelier came crashing down,” Y/N said, her voice shaky with adrenaline, “We took off in opposite directions.”
“Is she okay?” Harry’s eyes were wide, the panic evident in the way his head snapped violently towards her.
Y/N grinned softly, clutching her wand tightly, “She’s safe, Harry.” He let out a sigh of relief, nodding his head slightly.
“Snape’s dead,” his voice was quieter, almost regretful.
Y/N felt her heart drop. She was never fond of Snape — he hated her and her family to his very core — but he was still someone she had looked up to, “Oh, that’s awful. An awful way to go, in the middle of a war.”
“Where’s Malfoy?” Ron asked, looking out the window that was facing the grounds, green and red flashes blasting in countless different directions.
“I—I don’t know,” Y/N admitted. She had seen him not ten minutes ago, he had arrived with his parents looking very sunken and gloomy, but they hadn’t had a chance to speak two words to each other since the battle had begun. She was worried for his safety, but she figured no one was really after him. Students didn’t know he was a Death Eater and Narcissa would protect her son until her dying breath.
Her heart sunk thinking about him. Since the end of their sixth year, things had been weird. She didn’t blame him, he had insane pressure being thrust upon his shoulders. His parents wouldn’t let him leave their side and Y/N’s parents would let her leave the house or even send Owls. She had pretty much lost all contact with him.
After the summer holidays and after Y/N attended her older brother Bill’s wedding, she had not spoken a single word to him.
Were they even together anymore?
“He’s here, though,” she spoke up once realizing she had been silent for a while, “I saw him.”
Hermione nodded understandingly, placing a hand on Y/N’s shoulder. Hermione, who had been falling for Ron since third year, was the only person Y/N really confided in about her relationship. She didn’t even tell Ginny much. The only reason she confided in Hermione was because she knew about her feelings towards Ron. They often had late night chats about boys and their futures — those chats were some of the best moments in Y/N’s time at Hogwarts, really.
“Look out!” Ron shouted, but it was too late. Y/N was sent flying backwards, crashing into a stone pillar, violently hitting her skull and spine. She could feel the blood oozing out of the back of her head, her eyesight becoming insanely fuzzy, but she opened her eyes in time to see Fred hex the Death Eater, who went flying out a broken window.
Y/N’s eyes started to droop again, and that’s when she noticed the Amulet sitting on the ground in a tiny pile of rubble. It was no longer on her. Panicking slightly, she cleared her throat, blinking rapidly to regain her proper vision.
“Fred—,” she croaked out to the closest person, lifting her hand to point down at it, “Can you get it for me? The Amulet?”
Fred picked it up, rushing over to help his little sister stand up. After she was on her feet, still reasonably dizzy and lightheaded, a bright green flash had flown by, blinding them all for a good moment.
“Avada Kedavra!” Y/N ducked down, her heart skipping a beat. Someone was going to die.
Fred’s hand — that had been linked with her own — was now gone. The spell had hit him right in the middle of his chest and he was sent flying back, his body lying limp on the floor in a heap of broken stone.
Y/N thought she was going to vomit. She rushed over, letting Percy and Harry deal with the Death Eater, and picked up Fred’s head, resting it in her lap. His hair was standing on end as if he had been electrocuted, and his skin felt hot to the touch, but it didn’t stop her from attempting to shake him awake.
“Freddie?” she asked, her voice still trembling but this time due to the fact that she was holding back tears, “Freddie, please wake up.”
Ron was slumped against a wall, his eyes red and his breathing irregular as he watched Y/N try to wake up their brother. Hermione was comforting him, leaning her head against his shoulder, also trying to keep her emotions in.
Y/N couldn’t take her eyes away from her dead brother, whose eyes were still open wide, a faint smile on his lips that had been there before he got his with the blinding green flash.
“Fred, please wake up,” Y/N cried softly, ignoring Percy leaning down next to her and holding Fred’s limp hand in his own. She shut her eyes, letting the tears flow freely. The feeling of loss was horrendous. She was never going to hear Fred talk, or hear another one of his stupid jokes—
“Reckon I better thank the Slytherin git.”
Y/N’s eyes shot open, looking down at Fred, whose face was now in a painful grimace. His eyes were still closed but he was breathing. His eyelids flickered open and he coughed violently, dust and bits of stone coming out of his mouth.
“Fred?” Y/N dropped his head, placing her hands over his chest to check for a heartbeat to make sure she wasn’t imagining things, and thankfully, there was one, “Fred, you’re alive...”
“Do I have Harry’s scar?” he asked, eyes opening slightly and his infamous grin making its way back onto his face as if he hadn’t just died, “On my forehead, do I have one now too?”
Y/N, too shocked to do anything, glanced up at his forehead, “No.”
“Damn,” Fred muttered, still coughing, “That’s rather unfortunate.” Y/N couldn’t believe he was still alive. But as she looked down to his hand, which was now open, she could see the bright glow of the Protective Amulet glistening brightly. Fred had it.
“It saved him,” Ron muttered, his eyes wide as he leaned off of the wall, walking over to see his siblings, “Y/N, you had him pick it up for you and it saved him.”
Y/N was still speechless. Her own heart had regained its beat, but her head was still spinning, and the feeling of wanting to vomit was probably even stronger now than when she thought he was dead.
Fred carefully made his way to stand up assisted by Ron and Percy, while Y/N still crouched on the floor next to where he had been laying, her eyes glued to the floor in shock.
“You good, little sis?” Fred asked, sticking his hand out to help her up, “I’m the one who nearly died but you’re the one who seems to be on the verge of passing out.”
“I need to go see Malfoy,” she stood up hastily, rubbing the dirt from her hands onto her pants before pulling her brother into a bone-crushing hug, “Believe me, I’m thankful you’re alive. You have no idea. But I need to go see him.”
“What a roller coaster,” Ron ran his hand down his face, shaking his head before pulling Fred in for a hug as well, “George will have a laugh.”
“Yeah, I’m sure he’ll find his twin brother almost dying hilarious,” Hermione scoffed, crossing her arms, “Y/N, why do you need to go see Malfoy? Isn’t he, you know, not on our side?”
Y/N shook her head vigorously, eyes wide, “He’s always been on our side. He had a weird way of showing it, but he’s never been evil,” she leaned over to pick up her wand off the floor and proceeded to place it in her inside coat pocket, “He’s been forced by his parents to become dangerous. I need to go help him.”
“But why now?” Percy asked, eyeing his little sister with what could only be seen as suspicion. Percy had been the only vocal sibling about his dislike towards Malfoy. Working alongside the Ministry for so many years now, he had heard horrible tales of Lucius Malfoy and tried to keep his youngest sister away from that family the best he could. Unsuccessfully, of course.
“Because he saved Fred, Perc,” she replied, her voice firm, “Well, indirectly, but still. He helped me. I need to go help him.”
The rest of the gang was silent, no one wanting to argue with Y/N — the fire in her eyes was burning bright and there was no way they would attempt to put it out. She was determined, and no one stops a Weasley.
“Do you want backup?” Harry asked cautiously, “Just incase his parents are around, that is.”
“No,” she shook her head once more, “I need to go alone.”
And without another word, she bolted down the nearby staircase, careful not to step on bodies and trying her best to avoid tripping on large chunks of rubble. The school that she had been practically living in for seven years looked unrecognizable. Walls were blown away, blood was smeared on the floors, unfamiliar bodies littered the corridors, and the constant flash of spells reminded her of a violent thunderstorm.
She continued rushing downstairs, luckily avoiding any encounters, and barged into the Great Hall, where she did indeed find Draco. His hair was a mess, his eyes were bloodshot, and his lip was quivering. He was naturally very pale, but he looked even more ghostly under the faint light and the fact that he was surrounded by at least a dozen Death Eaters.
Her heart caught in her throat as she noticed all the eyes in the room now locked on her, Draco’s as well.
“Well, well,” Bellatrix Lestrange’s cackling voice reached her ears and she could feel her fingers begin to shake as they gripped her wand even tighter, “It’s another Weasley, is it not?”
Y/N locked eyes with Draco, who seemed even more panicked now that she was in the room. He nudged his head towards the door, silently telling her to leave, but she shook her head and stood her ground.
“Bella, don’t intimidate our guest,” Lucius Malfoy’s voice reached her ears and she grimaced. He had never liked her, and she doubted he would play saint right now.
“My name’s Y/N,” she said weakly, ignoring the laughs of the Death Eaters who were thrilled by her discomfort. She only recognized a few of them, having heard from Draco who they were, but some were unfamiliar, and the uncertainty of the situation she was in was starting to settle in her chest.
Lucius chucked, running a hand through his greasy blond hair, “Yes, yes, I am familiar with you. Draco, this is your little... girlfriend... is it not?”
Draco’s eyes were wide and he shook his head, tossing his hair back and forth aggressively, “No. We broke up.”
If Y/N wasn’t already devastated, she was now. Was he being honest, or was it just to get Lucius to leave her alone? The coldness in his eyes told her that it was true, but the way he was silently pleading her to leave the room also made her believe he was just trying to keep her safe.
“Ah,” Lucius nodded his head, holding his wand and twirling it through his fingers, “Then why are you here? You’re hardly Death Eater material.”
Y/N froze on the spot, having no idea what to say. Her eyes were wide, her mouth slightly open, and her entire body trembling in both fear and adrenaline.
“Isn’t it clear?” Narcissa Malfoy emerged from behind her husband, her face fierce but her eyes showing the same uneasiness as her son, “It doesn’t matter why she’s here. It matters what we do with her.”
Lucius’ smirk widened as he faced his son, “Ah, yes. Draco, would you do the honours?”
Y/N took a step backwards, wishing she could leave but knowing there was no chance of that now. Draco’s face fell and his lip opened to speak, until he was cut off by his mother once more.
“I highly doubt we should do this here. I’ll escort Draco and Miss Weasley out, we will do this privately,” Narcissa demanded, glaring at her husband, “This is a war, but have some respect for your son, Lucius.”
Narcissa approached Y/N, who was still standing rooted to the floor, face pale and hands balled up into fists so tightly that all colour had left her hands. She knew Narcissa was more fond of her than Lucius, but she didn’t think that she would be the one to force Draco to kill her.
“Come with me,” Narcissa whispered in Y/N’s ear, grabbing her wrist and pulling her out of the room. Y/N was being pulled around so quickly she didn’t have the chance to look at Draco, who was following in tow with tearful eyes.
“In here,” Narcissa pushed Y/N into a dark classroom, pulled Draco in behind her, and shut the door forcefully. Y/N was holding back hot tears, reaching into her jacket slowly to pull out her wand, prepared to defend herself if ever she was going to be attacked by one of the two people in the room with her.
“No need for that,” Narcissa snapped quietly, “I’m not going to make Draco kill you.”
Both Y/N and Draco’s heads snapped up to face her, their expressions nearly matched.
“I’m not a horrible person,” she scoffed, “I know you two need a moment. I will stand guard outside this door.”
With a swift movement, she was outside, the door shut behind her. Y/N and Draco were alone in the room, heavy breathing being the only sound either of them could hear. It felt strange being alone with him, they hadn’t really interacted or been together in such a long time. A lot had happened, and by the looks of it, Draco wasn’t exactly doing any better.
His hands were clenched around his wand, fingers white, and his eyes glued to the floor.
“The Amulet saved Fred,” Y/N spoke up first, wiping away the tears that had threatened to spill, “I wanted to say thank you for giving it to me.”
“You could have been killed,” Draco snapped, taking a seat on top of one of the desks, running his hands through his hair and then down his face, frustration laced into his features, “You know how dangerous this lot is.”
“Yes, I do know,” Y/N replied softly despite the bubbling frustration she was feeling, “But you helped me. I needed to come try and help you.”
He shook his head, locking his eyes with hers, “I gave that to you to save you. I don’t need you to return the favour.”
Y/N had gotten used to his insane stubbornness, but she was beginning to get irritated. They were in the middle of a war, this was hardly the time to get into an argument about a necklace.
“Draco, please, let me help you,” she placed her hands on his, and thankfully, he didn’t pull away like she expected him too. His hands were hot, the feeling of his skin touching hers making her entire body relax.
“How? How can I just leave them?” his voice was no longer accusatory, but gentle and vulnerable, “I want to, believe me, but I can’t. It’s too dangerous. And they’ll know you were involved.”
Sitting next to him on the desk, Y/N wrapped her hand around his shoulders and pulled him in for a hug, not thinking twice. He relaxed against her touch, resting his head against her shoulder and letting his hands fall around her waist. It was an awkward hug, considering they were sitting down, but Y/N loved it nonetheless.
She leaned into him, running her hand through his matted hair and placing her forehead against his shoulder, “It’s going to be hard, I know, but I’ll be by your side. I just want to save you the way you saved me.”
She was extremely cautious of pressuring him too much. Draco had spent his enter life being pushed into things, ordered around. When they had started dating two years before, he was careful not to let her see too much of who he was. But when he opened up, Y/N jumped at the chance to make sure he knew she would always be there. She reminded him every second of the day that all she wanted to do was help him. Watching him become a Death Eater was the hardest thing she had ever gone through — she couldn’t imagine what it was like for him.
If she wasn’t currently giving Draco her undivided attention, she would have missed the way he nodded his head softly, mumbling a quiet ‘okay.’
“Okay, good,” she pulled away from him, flashing the best smile she could muster despite the weight on her shoulders, “Your mother is outside this door. She can help us. She can tell the others that you killed me or... performed the Cruciatus curse, no?”
“I guess she could,” Draco replied, standing off the desk and standing in front of Y/N, “She told me I could make up my own mind. And I’m doing just that.”
Y/N felt her heart swell. She hopped off the desk too, linking her hand with his. He smiled softly down at her. It didn’t reach his eyes, but she could tell he really did appreciate what she was doing for him. He had never been able to actually get help before, but now that she was standing here in front of him, he couldn’t leave her.
“Come on,” she started leading him towards the door, but as she tugged on his hand, he stayed still, “Draco, what—?”
“Are you wearing the necklace?” he asked softly, eyes scanning her neck.
“Yes,” she replied, reaching under her shirt and taking it out from where she had placed it back on while running down to the Great Hall. Despite the dark room and the tense atmosphere, the jewel still glowed brightly.
Draco looked at it, his eyes softening, and pulled Y/N to him, pressing his lips against hers like she was his life source. Their lips moulded perfectly, as if everything around them ceased to exist. The distant screams could no longer be heard, and the darkness in the room seemed comfortable.
They pulled away from each other hesitantly, both of them having new found determination in their eyes.
“I think I’m ready,” Draco presses his forehead up against hers, his hand reaching to fumble with the Amulet, rolling it between his fingers, “I love you so much. And I didn’t mean it when I said we were broken up, you know.”
“I know. And I love you just as much,” Y/N replied, placing a quick kiss on his cheek, her heart soaring, and pulled her wand out of her pocket. They laced their hands together once more, walking towards the heavy door and pulling it open, ready for what was to face them.
Narcissa, looking slightly more frazzled than before, looked between them, then down to their interlaced fingers.
“I have to go,” Draco’s face was set, all trace of vulnerability he showed in the room were now gone. Y/N squeezed his hand tighter, supporting him. He squeezed back as a silent thank you.
Narcissa nodded, “I understand. Be safe, Draco.”
Draco nodded, turning to face Y/N, and proceeded to run down the hall with her by his side. Not in the direction of the Great Hall, but towards the battle, where both of them could save the place and people they grew up with. As they reached the courtyard unscathed, Draco pulled out his wand.
“Together, yeah?” he asked, clenching his jaw and gripping the wand in his hand, his other one still linked with Y/N’s.
“Yeah, together,” Y/N replied, lifting his hand to kiss his knuckles, “Let’s go win a war.”

"Yo, Eijirou."
Kirishima looked up from his notebook, where he had been pouring over anti-derivatives, trying to study for the upcoming exam. A questioning eyebrow raised slightly at his companion, who was hunched slightly over his own book. Kaminari held a pencil in his hand, the end with the eraser pressed against his bottom lip as he stared thoughtfully at Kirishima. The two were sitting in the Commons Room of their dormitory, taking up an entire couch for themselves as they were surrounded with books. Kirishima wanted nothing more than to play video games, or take a nap - anything to get out of review - but he forced himself to deal with the stupid rules he had to memorize.
Kaminari was no better. From the moment they started 'studying', he had alternated between reading his notes, or going through memes on his phone (or something of the sort). Occasionally, he would flick a small piece of paper at the redhead, trying to distract himself by seeing how many pieces he could get in Kirishima's hair without him noticing. That being said, the sharp-toothed male's head was littered with small, crumbled balls.
"Hah?" Kirishima said wisely, watching Kaminari tap the end of his pencil against his chin.
Kaminari bent forward, closer to Kirishima and beckoned toward him with a finger. The redhead complied and leaned closer, confusion brushing across his features. The blond whispered to him. "Is it just me, or has Bakugou been acting strangely lately?"
Kirishima tilted his head thoughtfully, (a few of the papers sticking to his head fell off and rolled down his shoulder, but he didn't notice), casting a glance toward said ash-blond, who was laying down on a couch across the room. It was just the three of them in the room. His head rested on one of his bent arms, the other one holding up his phone as he scrolled through something on it. His face held none of the usually angry expressions he wore on a day-to-day basis. Instead, it was rested in a lazy, almost bored look. The redhead hummed, lowering his voice to a whisper as well so that Bakugou wouldn't hear them talking about him. "Yeah, I noticed a while back. He's been calmer - more neutral. At least, when he thinks no one is watching."
"Right?!" Kaminari agreed, tapping his pencil against his chin at a faster pace than before. "The other day at Lunch, I 'accidentally' spilled water on him-" Kirishima paled, thinking about the different ways Bakugou would have killed him. Actually, scratch that - Bakugou only killed people by exploding them to dust. "-don't look at me like that! Mina dared me for money! But anyways, all he did was glare at me before getting up and stomping off! Dude, I thought I was gonna die!"
"That's-" The redhead put a fist over his heart, tears welling up in his eyes. "That's so manly of him!!! I'm so proud!!!"
"Me too, but I could have died."
"I wonder why he's been acting so mellow," Kirishima thought aloud, rubbing his chin as his studying was temporarily forgotten. This was a serious topic to address! "Maybe he's taking anger management classes?"
"Maybe he started doing yoga?"
"Haha, I can't imagine that. Maybe he went to a spa?"
"Maybe his Mom said something to him?"
"Mama Bakugou is scary, but Bakugou is scarier. Maybe he got a girl?"
"No wAiT! I've got something better!" Kaminari held his hands out, a grin snaking itself onto his sly face as he paused for dramatic effect. "Maybe he got laid?"
Kirishima's eyes widened, his mouth opening slightly as he pondered it. Well, it was definitely a possibility. He held his hand in a fist, tears brimming his red eyes once again, "That's the ultimate step a guy can take to becoming a man!!!!"
"Exactly!" Kaminari grinned, looking proud at himself for thinking about it. He watched as the redhead jumped up from his seat, his book falling to the floor along with the remaining pieces of paper stuck to his hair.
"Let's go ask him about it!" He grinned, still wanting to get away from reviewing. The blond nodded in agreement, getting up and following Kirishima to the resting place of Bakugou. Said male didn't notice his two classmates wandering up to him until they were leaning over him. Their faces were sly and had grins plastered on. He felt a twinge of annoyance.
"What do you two extras want?" Bakugou grunted, still keeping his eyes on his phone. Kaminari and Kirishima glanced at each other before looking back down at him with big grins on their faces.
"We were just wondering why you've been oddly tame for the past few weeks," Kaminari slyly said, slightly sweatdropping as Bakugou turned his head to glare at him.
"What the hell do you mean?" Bakugou scoffed, turning his phone off to look at the two males standing over him. "I haven't changed at all, the fuck?"
"Yes you have!" Kirishima grinned, rubbing his hands conspiratorially. "You've had these neutral looks on! It's really unsettling but manly as hell!!"
"I don't know what you're fucking talking about."
"Oh come on!" Kaminari grinned, leaning even closer to the ash-blond's face who frowned at the closeness. "Did you get a gir-"
"Uh, am I interrupting something?"
All three males turned their heads to look at the girl who had just walked into the room. [Name] tilted her head at the exchange happening in front of her. From her angle it looked as though the three had been doing something scandalous, and she raised an eyebrow at it, trying not to laugh out loud. Kirishima stood up straight, giving her a big smile as he ran over to hug and spin her around, laughing, while Kaminari remained in his position.
"Ah- [Name], wassup?" Kaminari gave her a closed eye smile, before his face was pushed away by Bakugou's hand, who had growled lowly at him in warning. The blond relented and scooted away from the couch willingly, not wanting to get beat up.
"Nothin' much," the girl giggled out as Kirishima set her down. She straightened her shirt and hair before walking toward the couch. "Have you guys seen my jacket? I think I left it here."
"It's over there," Kirishima replied, pointing toward the table where said garment rested. She thanked him and walked over to it, slipping it over her shirt before she turned around and walked back over to them. Kaminari was whispering something lowly to Kirishima, who nodded here and there while Bakugou had returned to scrolling through his phone, now sitting up against the couch. His crimson eyes swiveled up to watch her as she crept up behind the two whispering males, and poked her head into the conversation.
"Aren't you supposed to be studying?" [Name] asked, clicking her tongue as she gazed disapprovingly at the two. Kirishima let out a nervous chuckle while Kaminari threw an arm around her shoulder.
"Don't worry your pretty little head about it~" He smirked as [Name] rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "We were just interrogating Bakugou here."
"'Interrogating'?" [Name] echoed, turning her head to look at the ash-blond. His gaze was narrowed in a glare as he stood up, looming over his friends. The past few years had caused him to shoot up in height; when he wasn't slouching he towered over practically everyone, except Shouji. The female raised an eyebrow, putting a finger up to her bottom lip. "What did he do?"
"Fucking nothing!" Bakugou growled out as he stomped over to Kaminari and shoved his arm off the girl's shoulder. The poor blond rubbed his arm, sidling away to stand near his red-haired friend. [Name] only rolled her eyes at Bakugou, who crossed his arms and let out a huff, Kirishima and Kaminari stepping away and exchanging wicked glances with one another. "They were the ones who decided to bother me; it was damn annoying."
"Aw, Bakubro!" Kirishima pouted, placing a hand on his shoulder, though he only turned his head to glare at him while he shrugged it off. "We were just checking in on him! Having a manly talk!"
"Don't call me that."
[Name] tilted her head, but ultimately decided not to intervene anymore. She let out a small smile and turned around, waving a hand in the air. "I see... Well! I gotta go. Things to do, people to see."
"And where the fuck are you going?" Bakugou yelled out after her while she walked away, hair swaying with her motions.
"None of your business!"
The ash-blond let out a small growl, shoving his hands in his pockets. Kaminari and Kirishima looked at each other with eyebrows raised, before watching as the man stomped over to grab his phone from where it was resting on the couch, and then proceeding to stomp his way out of the Commons Room, not bothering to cast a 'goodbye' to his friends.
Kirishima hummed, closing his eyes as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Interesting behavior..."
"Should we follow him?
"Oh hell yeah."
---
Though the decision was rather spontaneous, the redhead and blond couldn't help but feel glad that they decided to follow their fiery friend. They wouldn't call it 'stalking' per se, but rather 'intellectually observing'. Bakugou had gone with [Name] to the mall, unaware of their two followers. Kaminari and Kirishima watched with some confusion, yet excitement as Bakugou tailed behind [Name]. His face was set in a calm look, eyes swiveling around at various stores while his companion shopped to her heart's desire. He looked bored, if Kirishima had to guess.
Occasionally, Bakugou's eyes would come close to landing on the forms of his two friends, but they always managed to duck out of the way, either into a nearby store, or by turning around and pretending they were someone else. It worked so far, but it was only a matter of time before they were found out. At least, that's what they thought, as they tried not to get killed by a certain ash-blond.
"How odd..." Kirishima mumbled, bringing up a menu to cover his face. Currently, him and Kaminari were sitting at a table in a cafe quite a distance away from [Name] and Bakugou. The two boys had been tailing them for a few hours now, and just when they thought they were going to keel over from hunger, [Name] had dragged Bakugou into the nearest cafe. Said ash-blond had been carrying a load of bags that his companion had gotten from various stores, grumbling a little, bit still holding onto them nonetheless.
"Never thought Bakugou would willingly go shopping with someone..." Kaminari whispered, as he pushed up his fake sunglasses and held open the menu in front of him.
"Have you noticed how quiet he's being?" Kirishima whispered to Kaminari, an identical pair of sunglasses resting upon his face. "Well, he didn't start a fight or anything! And holding her bags too? How manly!"
Kaminari suddenly let out a gasp, eyes widening behind his shades as the floral-patterned scarf wrapped around his head to hide his hair slipped a little. "Duuuude, what if they're dating?" He peeked over his menu to look at the couple in question. [Name] was chattering away, a drink in her hand that she occasionally sipped from while she waited for her food. Kaminari's head sunk as he pouted. "Damn, he beat me to her."
Kirishima wacked his blond friend on the head with his menu. "Be happy for them!!! Though, they are really good friends, so I don't know about that. Let's not assume." Kaminari rubbed his head and fixed his scarf, mumbling under his breath. Kirishima turned back to look at the couple they were 'observing'. Bakugou had his head resting on one of his hands, leaning on the table as he watched his companion talk about whatever. There was this calm expression plastered on his face, and Kirishima furrowed his brows a little, feeling a little happy for his friend who looked like he was enjoying himself on the inside. There is no mistaking the fact that [Name] is someone Bakugou likes hanging around. Maybe Kirishima should be his wingman and set him up with her? He ducked behind his menu, narrowly avoiding a crimson gaze that had swiveled around to look at him.
"Let's leave them alone," the redhead whispered, his giant sun hat slipping down to cover his left ear. "We can ask tomorrow - we might need backup, plus it's not manly to spy on people."
Kaminari nodded in agreement, before the two of them stood up and steadily made their way out of the cafeteria, the menus still raised up to hide their faces as people stared.
Meanwhile, a certain ash-blond had his eyes trained on the heavily dressed figures that were quite obviously trying to hide as they stumbled their way out of the cafe. [Name] stopped speaking to follow his gaze, letting out a sigh and a roll of the eyes.
"You know, you would think that training to be pro heroes would make them better at sneaking around," she remarked, sipping her drink and crossing her legs under the table.
Bakugou grunted, crossing his arms as he sunk down onto his chair. "Fucking dumbasses thought we wouldn't notice them." He threw a small glare at the female, who caught it and returned her own. "Are we fucking done here or what, I'm bored out of my Goddamn mind."
"You're the one who wanted to come with me," [Name] pointed out with a frown, setting down her now empty glass as she stood up, the ash-blond following her actions. He rolled his shoulders, letting out a huff at the small crack that sounded. "I didn't need your help, smartass."
"Whatever," Bakugou grunted, bending down to grab her bags in his clenched fists. "Next time I won't fucking come and you'll be all alone like a loser." He straightened up and walked away, grumbling underneath his breath. [Name] followed after him, arms crossed and a smirk stretched across her lips.
"As if you'd ever leave me alone."
"Shut the fuck up."
---
Kirishima peered into the nearly empty Commons Room, eyes glancing around the area before falling upon one of the couches in the corner. His eyes widened as he ducked back into the hall, turning around to look at his companions. Kaminari and Ashido were watching him with tilted heads, Sero standing behind them with a confused look on his face.
"What are we doing here again??" the black-haired male questioned, wondering why his friends had been banging on his room door in the middle of the afternoon before dragging him downstairs.
"We're here to interrogate [Name]!" Kaminari announced, rubbing his hands together slyly. "Gotta find out if she wants to date m-"
Before he could finish his sentence, Ashido slapped him upside the head, a frown on her face. The blond flinched and held the back of his head with a groan. The pink-skinned girl crossed her arms with a 'humph'. "Idiot, she would never go out with you!!"
"Still worth tryin- OW!"
Kirishima rolled his eyes before turning to answer his friend's question. "[Name] and Bakugou have been spending a lotta time together, so we're just gonna ask her if she knows why he's been acting so weirdly lately."
"Huh," Sero let out hum, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Now that you mention it, he has been acting strangely."
"Exactly!" Ashido sprung into the conversation, a determined look on her face. "Follow my lead boys, I'll handle this."
With that, she marched into the room, the three males turning to look at each other before shrugging and following, deciding it was best for Ashido to talk to her friend. [Name] was laying upside down on a couch in the Commons Room, reading a horror book by an American author. The small group of friends walked up to her and stood in front of her, casting shadows upon her face before she looked up and set her book down on her stomach.
"You guys need something?" she asked, flipping herself around to sit up properly on the couch. She hardly had a time to look at their expressions before Ashido practically pounced on her and started shaking her by the shoulders.
"We need details, girl, details!!" the alien-girl yelled out, not ceasing in her actions until her friend grabbed her by the wrists and pulled them off of her. Her hair was slightly messed up and she raised an eyebrow, glancing at the boys standing around her, before looking at her friend.
"Details...?" she trailed of slightly, scratching her head. Ashido nodded her head, opening her mouth to speak, only to get cut off by Kaminari who plopped himself down in between them, and threw an arm around [Name]'s shoulder.
"Yeah, details," he grinned, bringing his face closer to his friend's, who only rolled her eyes, used to his antics. "You wanna go out w- ACK!"
[Name] looked on in slight amusement as Kirishima grabbed Kaminari by the front of his shirt, and pulled him into a headlock, grinning widely all the while. The blond struggled to get out of his grip, lightly laughing and gasping for air at the same time.
The redhead sent a bright beam towards the [Hair Color] haired female, laughing sheepishly. "Ah, ignore him! He's just being a dumbass!"
"Okaaaay?" [Name] grinned back, looking toward Sero, who only shrugged and sat himself down on the couch arm.
Ashido, getting impatient, grabbed her friend's attention again and looked her in the eyes. "[Name], we're friends, right?"
"Yes?" [Name] responded, tilting her head to the side as Kirishima finally let go of Kaminari, who started gasping for air while rubbing his neck.
"And friends tell each other things, right?"
"Yeeees?"
"Okay so," Ashido glanced at Kirishima, who nodded slightly, telling her to go on. "Do you know why Bakugou hasn't been acting like a total asshole lately???"
"Hah?" [Name] looked confused, turning her head to look at the redhead who smiled sheepishly at her.
"Yeah, have you noticed?" he asked, shifting his feet around before placing a fist over his heart. "As his best bros, we have to know so we can commemorate his change toward being a better man!!"
"And we gotta tease him about it," Kaminari added, putting a thumbs up along with Ashido, who nodded eagerly along with him.
"I just want to play Animal Crossing," Sero sighed in the background.
"Hmm," [Name] closed her eyes, rubbing her chin as she pondered upon the question. After a few seconds, her eyes reopened, and she snapped her fingers. "Oh! It's probably 'cause-"
"What the fuck are you extras doing?"
Everyone turned their heads to see a slightly pissed off Bakugou stomping toward their couch, one of his eyebrows raised as his eyes glanced between the people surrounding [Name]. He came to a stop in front of the couch before crossing his arms across his chest, glaring at a certain female. "And why the fuck haven't you been answering my Goddamn texts????"
[Name] tilted her head, grabbing her book to show him as her friends nervously scooted away, hoping she wouldn't tell him what they had been doing. "I was reading and my phone's in my room, duh."
Bakugou growled, before grabbing the book and tossing it across the room, not giving a shit as the girl frowned and stood up from the couch haughtily. There was a small 'thud' as the book landed on the floor. He ignored her angry expression before turning to a certain redhead. "And what the fuck were you idiots doing, huh?"
Kirishima grinned, hooking an arm around Kaminari's neck, who had been rubbing the back of his head. "Ah nothing, we were just talking, you know, like friends do."
The blond only gave another thumbs up, a drop of sweat resting on the side of his head. Ashido also got up from the couch, standing next to [Name], who continued to frown at Bakugou. Sero disappeared into the background, deciding that today was not a good day to meet god. He was too high for this shit.
"Idiot!" [Name] yelled out, karate chopping a spiky head of hair with her right hand. Said head of hair turned around to growl lowly at her, before he moved so he was towering over her figure in a form of intimidation. The female only stood her ground, crossing her arms. "You can't just throw someone's book across the room!!!"
"I don't give a flying fuck." Bakugou clicked his tongue, before grabbing her wrist and pulling her out of the circle of friends. "You should have answered your Goddamn messages, because now we're fucking late and that old hag-"
"Wait one second!!" Ashido yelped out, grabbing [Name]'s other wrist, causing Bakugou to stop his march to the exit. "We were having a very important discussion!!! You can't just steal her away like that!!"
"I can, and I fucking will." Bakugou narrowed his eyes at the pink-haired female, giving the [Hair Color] haired female's wrist a tug, only to be countered by another tug from Ashido. [Name] only looked back and forth between the two, wondering what the fuck was going on.
"Bakubro, come on!" Kirishima suddenly appeared next to the ash-blond and put a hand on his shoulder. The fiery male turned his head to give the redhead a sharp glare, while Kaminari disappeared to join Sero in the shadows. "Don't be such a dick! It's not manly to treat a lady that way!"
"I don't give a shit, I'll treat her how I fucking want, shitty hair," Bakugou grunted out, giving another tug to [Name]'s wrist, who shot him a nasty glare that was countered by one of his own. Kirishima let go of his shoulder and stepped away, scratching his head slightly at the anger that was showing on his bro's face.
Ashido gasped, tugging on [Name]'s wrist and causing her to stumble slightly to the side. "Rude!! Bakugou Katsuki, what gives you the right??"
"What gives me the right?" the ash blond sneered, giving a sharp tug on [Name]'s wrist, and causing her to nearly fall over. "I'm her fucking boyfriend, that's what."
Ashido gasped, letting go of the wrist she had been holding onto in shock, making [Name] stumble toward Bakugou's chest. He caught her with one arm, his expression softening ever so slightly for a fraction of a second, before she stood up and straightened herself up. The female turned to face her boyfriend, giving him a sharp glare as she tapped his chest harshly. "Don't tug me like that ever again, swear to God, I felt my arms tearing off." She gave out a huff before looking around at her friend's reactions.
Kaminari was depressed, his head hanging low as he wallowed over the loss of a fine, single girl. Sero was trying to comfort him, patting his back lightly with a small, sheepish smile on his face. Kirishima had a proud expression on his face, his eyes welling up with tears as his hand was curled in a fist. Ashido was still shocked, and slightly sad that [Name] didn't tell her anything before. The [Hair Color] haired female offered an apologetic expression to her friend, who smiled lightly and mouthed 'Details later!' at her.
"I though you didn't want anyone to know, dumbass," [Name] tutted, sending a glare to the ash-blond, who only groaned, and slapped a hand over her mouth.
"Whatever, we don't have time for this fucking discussion," he grunted out, before releasing her and tugging her wrist again. "That old hag's been bothering me with texts all morning, so we gotta go, right fucking now."
[Name] shrugged, letting herself be pulled out of the room while waving 'bye' to her friends. "We'll talk later, guys!"
The remaining young adults only watched as the couple left, giving a few waves of their own, before turning toward each other with shocked expressions.
"THEY'VE BEEN DATING AND I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT!!!" Ashido suddenly wailed, plopping down on the couch in dismay.
"To be fair, no one knew about it," Sero pointed out, coming out of the shadows to lean against the couch. "But I guess that explains why he's been acting so tame lately. [Name] is a force to be reckoned with."
Kaminari let out a long sigh, flopping down on the couch on top of Ashido, who let out a small giggle. He put a hand over his forehead in drama. "Woe is me, now she's taken and I never got to ask her out."
"What a fucking shame," Ashido said, her voice muffled slightly as her face was pressed into the couch cushion.
"I'm so proud of him!!!" Kirishima grinned, pumping his fist into the air. "He's all grown up!!!"
"He's still got a temper, though," Ashido replied, turning her head to look at the redhead. "But it's not as bad as before. Ahhhhh!!! He loves her!!!"
Kaminari let out another sigh, before getting slapped by Ashido again. "Should we tell the others?"
The Bakusquad all turned to look at each other, before breaking out in huge grins, mischief lining their features.
"Fuck yes."

MY TURN FOR A REQUEST- I had a lil hc that Dark doesn’t like to be shirtless in front of ANYONE. The scars on his body being one of the big reasons. He was afraid that he’d be judged for them. So one day when maybe Bing absolutely ruined his t-shirt one day, he was forced to take it off and he didn’t realize how many people were looking and it causes him to begin to freak out.
Instead one of them says “You’re ripped?! Aren’t you old?!”
“Dudes, more dudes, and Yan-Yan,” Bing dramatically greeted everyone in the room, standing at the entrance to the kitchen so that everyone could see him. Everyone was present except for Dark, who denied the invitation to the presentation. “May I introduce you to the glass that can hold a full bottle of wine.” Bing gestured at the ‘invention’ in his hand, the large wine glass filled almost to the brim with deep red wine.
“Isn’t that already a thing?” Bim asked.
“Who would drink a whole bottle of wine in one sitting?” Yandere asked as well.
“My ex-wife,” Chase muttered, quickly flashing Marvin a smile to show that he was just joking when Marvin placed a worried hand on his leg.
“Anyway. This wine glass isn’t just large enough to hold a full bottle, it also~” Bing sang as he turned the glass around, showing that part of the glass stuck out and went all the way to the bottom. “Has a straw!” Bing paused, waiting for applause that didn’t happen. “Oh, come on dudes.”
“Who drinks wine with a straw?” Anti asked with a chuckle. “Dark would call that sacrilegious”
“I also don’t think a glass straw that thin is really safe,” Edward said.
“If you made all the glass thicker, it might come across less dangerous,” Google suggested.
“You like it?” Bing perked up.
“It’s an interesting idea.” Google glared at Anti when he started to make kissing sounds.
“Alright, what’s going on-” Dark was suddenly behind Bing, scaring him a little and causing him to suddenly turn around. The glass slammed into Dark’s chest and shattered, soaking the entirety of Dark’s white shirt with the wine. The one time he decides not to wear his blazer and this happens.
“Oh, shit!” Bing cursed and quickly tried to get the glass off of Dark. “I’m sorry, dude! I’m so, so, sorry!”
“Stop touching me.” Dark slapped Bing’s hands away before undoing the buttons to his shirt, the feeling of the glass poking him and the wine already feeling stick made him forget about the others as he took his shirt off. He just let it drop to the ground, deciding to deal with that later and he went stiff when he heard gasps.
Dark felt his head drop to the very bottom of his chest and his throat tightened. He did not want to hear the pity, the ridicule, the comments about his scars.
“What the fuck?” Anti was the first to speak and Dark was ready to throw insults back. “You’re ripped!?” Dark’s guard went down in surprise.
“What?” He found himself saying.
“If I would have known you were that fucking stacked I would have started flirting with you more,” Anti said with a chuckle.
“You can flirt more?” Chase teased.
“Oh no, did I forget to tell Dark that Bing was holding a wine glass?” Wilford ‘tsk’ed as he looked at his phone. “I guess that’s one way to show a certain someone that he looks fine.”
“Wilford.” Dark crossed his arms.
“Yes, Dark?” Wilford smiled.
“You’re grounded.”
“I know.”

S/O to @prurientpuddlejumper for the Kneef gifs!
--
Back at your apartment, Bryan had you against the wall. He nuzzled your neck, causing you to shiver. Two large warm hands rose up the sides of your thighs before slipping under the hem of your skirt. He hooked his fingers under the straps of your panties and tugged. The flimsy lace underwear you wore tore easily. He nudged your legs apart with his foot.
The sound of a belt unbuckling and clanging to the floor followed by a zipper sent a thrill up your spine.
Bryan’s breath was warm on your ear as he pressed himself along your ass. You instinctively pushed back, desperate for more. Bryan nipped your ear as he stroked your soaked pussy with his cock.
“Like the song, we’re reunited and it’s going to be so fucking good.” Bryan purred. “Now place those arms on the wall and bend over more a little, sweetheart.”
--- Flash Forward to Four Years--
At the speed in which Bryan paced in front of you, you were certain the handsome litigator was going to wear a hole in the carpet. “Well?” He asked exasperated. He tugged on the collar of his navy polo, feeling warm and constricted.
“Two more minutes Bryan. These things take time.” You gritted. You rapped your freshly manicured nails along the counter. “I can’t tell who is more nervous. You or I.”
Bryan stopped his pacing to glare at you. “This is life altering news.”
“Gee, whizz, you don’t say.” You replied with a roll of your eyes. “You are not making this any easier.” You stood straight and marched off.
“Where are you going?” Bryan called out after you. He followed you, basically nipping at your heels.
“To get something to drink.” You replied. “I need something to settle my stomach. I think I saw ginger ale in your fridge.”
Bryan sighed. “I need something stronger.”
You returned with two low ball glasses. “Whisky on the rocks for you. Ginger ale for me.”
Bryan took the drink and with his free hand, pulled you in. “I love you. No matter the results.”
You cupped his bearded cheek. “I love you too.” You were about to stand on your toes to press a kiss when a buzzer sounded. You gasped and thrust your drink into his hands.
Bryan watched your form disappear back into the room. There was silence and Bryan swore inwardly. “Okay, time for plan B.” He muttered before downing his drink in one shot and then downing yours. You walked back out into the room. Your face was unreadable initially and just as he was about to say something, you broke into a big smile.
“I passed! I passed the bar exam! I’m a lawyer!” You shouted before running full-speed into Bryan’s arms. The glasses dropped to the floor, shattering into a million pieces as Bryan scooped you into his arms.
“I knew you would. I am so fucking proud of you.” Bryan replied before capturing your lips with his. Any tension you had, melted away and you allowed yourself to sink into his embrace.
“Let’s celebrate!” You exclaimed.
Bryan’s eyes twinkled. “I have just the place in mind. Go pack your bag while I have this cleaned up.”
You cocked your head and raised your brow. “And where exactly will we be going?”
“You’ll see.” Bryan replied huskily. As you turned, Bryan swatted your ass.  You looked back at him and the look on his face was absolute sinful. Your heartbeat began to race in anticipation.

Thirty minutes later, Bryan had finished securing yours and his bags to the rear rack of his motorcycle. You tightened your helmet before hopping on and held Bryan tightly. Bryan kicked his motorcycle into gear and off you went, leaving his luxury apartment in the Gold Coast behind.
--
“You have a yacht? Since when?” You asked as you and Bryan walked down the slip taking in the sight of the boats at the marina.
“Not my yacht.” Bryan winked. “Someone who owes me a favor. Come on.”
“Welcome aboard.” A man in a captain’s uniform greeted. “I’m Captain Williams – it’ll be my honor to take you along Lake Michigan. It’s a beautiful day for sailing; could not ask for better weather.”
Once on board, another member of the staff came to greet you two with two flutes of champagne. You both followed and were given a tour. When you imagined a three-bedroom, two-bathroom living space with a spacious kitchen and butler’s pantry, life on the water did not come to mind. The boat was outfitted in a subtle palette of champagne, ivory, platinum, stainless steel and chocolate brown.
Each room boasted an oversized, sumptuous bed clothed in supima cotton percale linen and a cashmere throw. In addition, the seating was Italian leather. There were two fridges, a below-deck engine room, a two-mode table that phased into a dining and cocktail table, Corian benches and an icemaker. The 40-foot yacht combined the timeless appearance of a bygone-era cruiser with stylish design and high-tech engineering. The opulent master ensuite featured beautiful Spanish hexagon tiles with a light running through it to create a sensual oasis. There was glass wall separating each bedroom and to your surprise, the glass could be easily blacked out with a frost effect at the touch of a button creating privacy.
Finally, you and Bryan were alone again. You hopped onto one of the lush beds and almost sank into it. As Bryan chose some music to stream, you gasped at the skylight above the bed. The Illinois sky above was crystal clear, nary a cloud in the sky. The yacht’s engine roared quietly beneath you as it departed from the marina.
“This is too much,” you murmured, turning to Bryan who joined you in the bed.
“You deserve everything.” Bryan praised, as he pressed a kiss to your lips. “You worked so hard. And as a reward, now I am going to fuck your brains out.”
“And what if I hadn’t passed? What was plan B?”
“Plan B was going to be to take you here anyway and fuck your brains out.”
You let out a giggle before moving closer to him. You ran your hand over his toned arm. “You’ll be my sponsor, right? At the swearing in ceremony?”
Bryan’s hands ran up your leg. He stopped at the top of your thigh and began to rub small circles. “Of course. Now, if I can only convince you to move back to Chicago and leave that firm of yours.”
“Reciprocity takes five years, Bryan.” You replied, reaching across to tap his temple. Bryan took your hand into his and pressed a kiss to your knuckles.
“You can come to New York, you know. Reciprocity here would be cake for you.” You continued, your voice dropping to a near whisper at the end.
Bryan froze. “And leave Chicago?”
You let out an irritated sigh. “I just hate that we’re apart. I want more for us, for this relationship.”
“You’re a born and bred Chicagoan. Surely you understand. Everything I have worked for is in Chicago.” Bryan replied, letting out his own equally irritated sigh.
“Let’s just drop it. I don’t want to fight. Please, today’s a good day.” You flopped onto your back, staring at the clear sky above. You felt your eyes brim and you brought your hands to your face.
“Hey…” Bryan replied softly, removing your hands. “Maybe I can talk Laurie and Firth into opening a New York City office.”
Your lips twitched into a smile. “Yeah? You’d do that for me?”
Bryan pulled you close. “Of course. I love you.”
You wrapped your arms around him and kiss him hard. Bryan took the opportunity to roll you on top of him. Excitement swirls down and pool between your thighs. Bryan wasted no time to grip the hem of your shirt and pull it over your head.
“Someone wants to get laid.” You smirk, crossing your arms, purposely pressing up your sheer, lace covered tits.
“You have no idea.”
“We should do something about that then… what did you say, you were going to fuck my brains out?” You asked leaning down. Your lips were by his ear as you reached around to unclasp your bra. “Because I am pretty sure this bomb pussy is going to milk out all that cum, out of that big… hard… cock.” You reached down between his legs and stroked his cock, which grew harder against your palm. A groan strained from Bryan’s throat.
When you sit up again, your eyes settled on Bryan’s. His clear green eyes were now dark and stormy.
You squealed as he rolled you back onto the bed. Bryan undid the button of your shorts and tugged them off. A smirk graced his face at the sight of the dark wet spot on your underwear. “These have got to go.” Bryan murmured, yanking them off as well. Once off, he balled your ruined panties into his fist and took a deep inhalation of your sweet scent. A rumble emanated from his chest.
You let out a gasp as Bryan’s mouth settled on your pussy. He licked a tantalizingly slow, broad stroke before settling on your clit. He flicked the tip of his tongue across your clit causing you to arch your back in response. Bryan then used his fingers to spread open your lips, and stroked them, playing with your wetness. You gripped the streets as Bryan buried his face in between your legs, sucking and licking.
You grinded against him, desperate. “More, please.” You whimpered.
Bryan removed his mouth and you whined at the loss. “So fucking greedy. Fingers or mouth?” A digit slowly penetrated you and your walls clenched tightly. A moan escaped your lips as Bryan slowly thrusted his finger in and out of you, before moving to insert another finger. His tongue flicked against your swollen pearl before he paused once more. “Answer the question, Y/N.”
“Both.” You sobbed. “Please don’t stop.”
“Never.”
Bryan dove back into your folds, devouring you as if you were his last meal. You chant his name and other obscenities loudly. You were certain everyone on the boat could hear you. Part of you didn’t even care. The man in between your legs is a god amongst mortals when it comes to eating pussy and all the praise deserves to be heard. You bucked against his mouth, until you are full on fucking his face and fingers. Your walla began to flutter, signaling you were coming close to release. Bryan crooked his finger, stroking the sensitive spot inside you and the coil in your belly snapped. You came hard, wailing Bryan’s name as your orgasm ripped through you. Bryan rode out your orgasm and as you came down to reality, Bryan continued with gentle licks and kisses; your body jerked in overstimulation.
Bryan pressed kisses along your thighs before moving back up your body. He paused momentarily to pay attention to your breasts, licking along your breastbone before swirling his tongue over a nipple. You cupped your breasts together and Bryan continued to lavish you with his tongue. Bryan moved to your mouth and he kissed you deeply, before pulling back.
“Can you taste yourself on my tongue?”
You whimpered, nodding. “What’s that you called it? Bomb pussy?” Bryan murmured against your lips.
You nodded. “Yes.”
Bryan chuckled darkly, his lips against your ear. “Now it’s my turn to wreck that bomb pussy with this cock.”
You closed your eyes briefly – for what even seemed like a half second but when you opened your eyes again, Bryan was fully nude. Pre-cum beaded on the head of his cock, and you resist the urge to lick it off, as you’re desperate to get filled and fucked to your heart’s desire.
Bryan laid down on the bed and fisted his cock, so it was pointing straight to the ceiling. You climbed over him and take his cock from his hand, guiding him into you. You slowly slide down and sink onto him, until you’re fully connected. Bryan’s eyes roll back momentarily. “Oh fuck Y/N, you feel so good!”
One hand gripped the slope of your hip tightly as your bodies move together rhythmically. Bryan usedd his free hand to smack your ass. You braced your hands on his chest with your nails pressing into his skin, leaving crescent marks into his skin as you ride his cock.
“That’s it, ride that cock.” Bryan encouraged, smacking your ass again, this time harder. The sting spurred you on and you began to speed your movements. Bryan leans up and pushes you back, breaking the connection for a second, before sliding his cock right back in. Your legs are pushed up, so your knees are by your ears and your arms are over your head. Bryan pins your wrists with one hand as he takes you to pound town. The sounds of grunts and moans along with skin on skin, fill the room and you can feel his balls slap against your pussy.
Your foreheads are pressed together as he takes you deeply, sliding into you over and over in deep, long strokes. As he feels his own release approach, Bryan turns his face to the flesh of your shoulder, and bites before running his tongue over the bruised skin.
This surprises you and you come completely undone, again wailing his name. Feeling your walls flutter around his cock, seeing your wrecked face - it was all too much for Bryan and with a strangled cry, he stiffened and emptied his seed into you.
Your bodies are covered in sweat and Bryan kissed you softly before rolling off. He pulls you in close, and you curl into his strong arms. It’s not long before you are both asleep – partly from the orgasmic oxytocin wearing off and partly from the rock of the boat.
--
Later that evening, you wake up to an empty bedside – but there is a note from Bryan asking you to meet him on the deck for dinner. You shower and change into the dress you wore at The Hamptons when you all those years prior – it was a cream colored short-sleeve wrap dress that had a ruffle hem and an adjustable tie at waist. You left your hair in a loose wet braid and decided to go barefoot.
The night sky over Lake Michigan was dark, with nary a cloud in the sky. Away from the orange glow from the artificial light from increasing development and glare from unshielded streetlights, you found yourself beneath the twinkling stars and other celestial objects. You were surprised to find how many stars you were able see even just miles away from the city and northern suburbs.
A pair of hands touched your shoulders and you jumped slightly until the familiar waft of Bryan’s cologne filled your nostrils.
“Have you seen anything so beautiful?” You asked as you turned around. And when you did, you found Bryan on one knee. In his hand was a sparkling ring, which you presumed was at least 2 carats, flanked by smaller diamonds.
“When I first met you, you literally collided into me. And from then, I couldn’t get you out of my head. At first, I thought we were going to be nothing more than a fling, an itch to get out of my system. I told you I didn’t do the boyfriend thing and you were more than okay with that. And for awhile it was that, but you weaseled your way into my world and black and white became different shade of gray. And then it became blues and reds.” Bryan’s eyes shimmer as he professes his love. After a beat, he continues.
“And I know we have had our issues in the past, and I can’t promise you that we won’t have rough patches again. In my heart, you are the only one for me. I cannot imagine my life without you. Will you marry me?”
Your hands covered your mouth as tears streamed down your face. A gentle breeze blew through and you nodded before you dropped your hands. “Yes, of course Bryan, yes!” Bryan smiled as he stood and your hand shook as he slipped the ring onto your finger. You wrapped your arms around his neck as two kissed.
“What about everything I said – about New York? Not being able to come to Chicago right away?” You asked breathlessly, as you broke the kiss.
Bryan wiped a tear from your cheek. “Oh Y/N, I already had it all taken care of. Laurie and Firth already agreed to it. I’ll be heading the NY office when it opens in the Fall. We signed a deal with a building space in Midtown.”
You gasped once more before playfully hitting him on the chest. “So you were just fucking around with me below deck?”
“In more ways than one.” Bryan winked.
“You’re such an ass.” You replied. “Wait - does that mean you’ll actually tell me what memo 618 is now?”
Bryan responded by cupping your ass and kissing you once more.
FIN.

Jungkook sipped his coffee, wincing as it burnt his tongue as he slipped into the doors of the department building. The air conditioner was on full blast even though it was mid-winter, he could feel goosebumps rising on his skin as a shiver traveled through his body despite him wearing a leather jacket. His heavy boot steps turned silent when the linoleum met the carpet of the office area.
He kept his head down, hoping to avoid any interaction with his coworkers. The brim of his hat his his eyes. While he couldn’t see the TV, he could hear the news rattling on from where it was perched on the wall.
"And in most recent news,” the man said, “Following the recent protests against hybrids' newly granted rights, the city has decided to create a police force solely dedicated to the protection of hybrids and their rights," the news anchor droned voice even and professional as to not reveal any opinion on the matter, "We can only hope the Hybrid Protection Force can stop the new wave of crimes against hybrids."
"Hey Jeon," a fellow cop, by the name of Doyeon, yawned in greeting, sharp eyes angled down at him coldly from where he was leaned back against his desk, "Saw you're packin' your desk up. Where you headin'? You take that job offer over in Busan or somethin'?
Jungkook breezed past him to his own desk, feeling the eyes following him as the cop awaited a response.
"No," Jungkook sighed, already growing tired of the barrage of questions, as he placed his coffee cup down in favor of placing the final pieces of his in his desk into the cardboard box beside him.
"Where's Taehyung?" Doyeon asked, not put off by Jungkook cold behavior.
Jungkook rolled his eyes, "Over in the new building waiting for me," he replied easily, placing a picture frame carefully in the box.
Doyeon made a sound of disgust before scoffing, "The Hybrid Protection Force Department? Why's he over there?"
"Because that's where I'm moving to," Jungkook answered mechanically, an admission that drew him even more attention — very unwanted attention at that.
"What?!" Doyeon gasped, drawing the eyes of the other cops who stood around their desks, "They moved you there? What the hell for?"
"They didn't move me," Jungkook answered, leaning on his hands against his desk with his head hanging between his shoulders, "I asked for the transfer."
"Dude..." Doyeon snorted, a sound that made Jungkook cringe, "Why would you move there? Half the departments in the country would give their eye teeth to snatch you up and you choose to join the grunts and do hybrid work? Are you insane? How the hell are you supposed to advance your career if you choose a stupid, useless path like that?"
"You seem to be forgetting I have a hybrid, Doyeon," Jungkook growled, clutching the edge of his desk so hard his knuckles turned white.
"Yeah but..." Doyeon, oblivious as ever, huffed, "He’s just your K-9 hybrid. For the best cop of your year to work for hybrids...it's a shit choice, dude."
"Doyeon," Jungkook stood up straight, rolling his shoulders until one popped. "You're my senior here but don't think for a second I won't knock you on your ass for talking to me like that. What I do for my career doesn't concern you," he picked up the cardboard box by the two holes cut out angrily, jostling the objects inside so they rattled loudly, "The reason I chose the Hybrid Force is because of people like you. I'll use my ability and status to do some good, unlike you who only cares about furthering his own career. You're a cop — you're supposed to protect the citizens of this country whether human or not."
Doyeon finally looked a bit flustered, his jaw locked as he felt the eyes of the other cops burning into him. He held his head high, however, trying to pretend he didn’t feel humiliated being called out by Jungkook in front of everyone.
Jungkook stood there, glaring at the man for several long seconds before finally storming past him, ignoring the whispers and mutters from the other cops and staff who had witnessed the interaction.
He stepped into the cold outside, his boots crunching on the snow that covered the sidewalk. Usually someone would have cleared it off but it seemed not today. He began his short walk to the newly built building across the property, keeping his eyes on the ground to avoid large piles of snow or sheets of ice.
The building was put up fairly quickly despite the HPD being formed only a month prior — the city had expedited the construction. It contrasted drastically against the old main building, which was over 50 years old. It was in desperate need of renovation but the city wasn’t willing to pay for it — something that angered the anti-hybrid citizens.
Hopping up the stairs, taking two at a time, while he balanced his box between his hip and arm to free his other to open the door. Just like the other building, the air conditioning was running and he rolled his eyes, wondering if he could get someone to turn heating on instead. Still, he was thankful for the jacket, jeans, and boots he wore.
His superiors had long since stopped trying to force him into the police uniforms, allowing him to dress as he pleased. When he was new to the Department, he got plenty of write ups but as his reputation and rank grew, he was allowed to freedom to dress how he liked.
He nodded at the receptionist, breezing through the security scanner, thankfully not sending anything off.
"Jungkookie!" he heard the enthusiastic call of his best friend, "You're late!"
"Sorry, I got caught by Doyeon — you know how he is..." Jungkook huffed, making Taehyung scoff.
"Total jerk," Taehyung nodded, black ears bouncing atop his head. His tail wagged excitedly as Jungkook followed him over to their desks — connected right across from one another separated by two desktop terminals for their work.
It was still a relatively empty in the office — not many officers having been assigned to the force yet. Still, the few cops that were there were lower rank than Jungkook himself so they avoided one mostly another.
Jungkook’s reputation led to many people avoiding him, not wanting conflict or because he intimidated them. Taehyung, on the other hand, easily made friends and was somewhat of a social butterfly with a good reputation.
He placed his box on his side of the desk, chuckling when Taehyung sat in his own chair and began spinning in circles. Jungkook shed his leather jacket, placing it on the back of his chair and pushed his sleeves up, the array of tattoos covering his arms making themselves known to anyone who looked.
It had been 7 years since he got his first one alongside Taehyung — who had also become increasingly inked up as the years passed. A tattooed hybrid was one of the most uncommon things seen in society, so the Labrador pup got a good amount of looks and comments daily.
He didn't really mind, however, he was confident and happy and that was all Jungkook really cared about at the end of the day.
Opening one of his drawers, he began to organize the files he'd brought with him. He placed the picture of him and Taehyung on his desk. It was dated, he needed to put newer one up but it was sentimental — it was taken the day before they entered the Police Academy together.
It'd been hard getting though, many nights ending in argument between the two due to stress and exhaustion.
Jungkook looked up, smiling when he saw Taehyung was still spinning in his chair happily.
Everything was worth it, in the end. They were partners and were going to be doing good work to help better the world.
"Hey," Taehyung suddenly said, voice dropping a few octaves. The change in tone had Jungkook's attention immediately. "Look who it is."
Jungkook followed his friends gaze to find his eyes met with the sharp ones belonging to none other than Min Yoongi.
"Jeon, Kim!" both heads snapped up at the sound of their names being shouted before they shared a look.
Standing on the landing of the second floor, leaning over the balcony overlooking the main office was a man dressed in a suit, blonde hair slicked back off of his face. His sharp eyes were fixed on them as he gazed down, “My office,” he said before turning around, vanishing from sight.
Jungkook was the first to move, standing up with Taehyung following close behind.
"Shut the door," the man said once they walked in. The click of the door closing was his signal to start, "My name is Kim Namjoon, I'm the appointed Captain of this department."
Inside, sitting on a chair in front of the Captain’s desk was another man. He wore a bred expression and sat slouched in his chair with his foot tapping impatiently.
“This is Min Yoongi, he’s from the Daegu Police Department,” Namjoon introduced, although they both had definitely heard of Min Yoongi.
"Pleasure to meet you both," Taehyung said immediately, bowing his head slightly.
"The two of you are the highest ranking officers I currently have in this department," Namjoon said, sitting on the edge of his desk with a sigh, "I'd like to be as transparent with you as possible on the core purpose of this department's development."
"Core purpose?" Taehyung asked, head cocked to the side and ears alertly perked up from his mess of black hair.
Namjoon nodded, picking up a folder that was sitting beside him and handed it to Jungkook. He opened it, the other two looking over his shoulder curiously.
"It's a file," Jungkook mumbled. "For a Park Jimin? He's listed as undercover, are we allowed to be seeing this?"
"I wouldn't be showing you unless it was important," Namjoon explained, "Park Jimin is with the Hybrid K9 Unit from the Daegu Department. He has been deep undercover within Korea's biggest and most notorious hybrid fighting ring for over 2 years," his gaze shifted to Yoongi, “He’s the reason Yoongi has been transferred over.”
Yoongi nodded, making the other two look at him in confusion, “What’s he got to do with us?”
“Jimin is my partner,” Yoongi replied,
"I wasn't aware hybrids were allowed to go undercover two years ago," Jungkook said, brows furrowed.
"And since when does Korea give a rats ass about hybrids trafficked in the underground, anyway?" Taehyung grumbled, mood quickly plummeting.
“Originally, this was a DPD case but with the new Hybrid Unit here in Seoul, it’s been transferred over to be handled by us specifically,” Namjoon explained, "Jimin is a special case but we're not here to discuss the ins and outs of his career."
"Then what are we here for?" Jungkook asked as Taehyung took the folder from his hands to read more closely.
"What do they have to do with the core purpose of this Unit?" Taehyung urged, tail beginning to flick impatiently as he motioned over to Yoongi.
"For the past two years Jimin has been undercover, he has been steadily feeding us information regarding this specific ring. The Hybrid Protection Force was actually secretly formed years ago centered around the confidential mission of breaking this ring up," Yoongi spoke up again, "Unfortunately, Jimin can only rank so far up within the ring due to being a hybrid himself. It's taken a lot of time but he's reached a position where he can't advance by himself."
"So you're pulling him?" Jungkook asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"No," Namjoon looked all three of them in the eyes, "We're sending two more undercover."
"It's taken Jimin two years to get as far as he has," Taehyung frowned, quickly realizing what the plan was, "It's going to take us just as long to advance."
"That's not necessary," Namjoon said, puzzling the two of them, "Jimin is in a position of recruitment — taking new masters and hybrids in for the fighting. The two of you will be the new members."
"What about Yoongi?" Jungkook asked, “Shouldn’t you be with Jimin?” his gaze shifted to the man in the seat.
Yoongi sighed, “Unfortunately, at the time they didn’t want a pair. Jimin volunteered to go— I didn’t like it but I couldn’t tell him no. He’s on a solo mission, I can’t join him now,” he explained, “I’ll do the work here, preparing everything for the bust when the time comes.”
"I'm not sure about this..." Jungkook admitted, shifting uneasily on his feet.
"What's the problem?" Namjoon asked, meeting Jungkook's gaze.
"This is a fighting ring...Taehyung..." Jungkook sighed, "This will put him in serious danger."
"Danger is part of your job, Jungkook," Namjoon snapped, eyes narrowed.
"I know that but..."
"It's alright," Taehyung placed a hand on Jungkook's shoulder, "We won't be undercover for long...right?" he looked at Namjoon.
"That's right," Namjoon nodded, "Highballing it; a year, but I highly doubt that.”
"Alright," Jungkook sighed, nodding his head, "What’s the goal here then?"
“What we need from the two of you is to join this ring with Jimin’s recruitment,” Namjoon explained, “He’s gotten everything ready on his end. Once you've infiltrated, you'll pose as a new master and hybrid and engage in the fights.”
“You have to appear eager,” Yoongi suddenly said, looking over his shoulder at the other two, “Join in on any and all fights that you can. The more eager you are, the more attention you'll gain...especially if you win.”
"I've arranged with Jimin to have a meeting in a week," Namjoon said, "The two of you will have to be caught up with everything by then. Information can be found in your terminals for you to review along with the stories and identities you're going with. I'll have files delivered to you on those, you know how it works–”
“Memorize names, locations, dates, and social security numbers,” Taehyung and Jungkook said at the same time.
“That's right,” the Captain smiled and stood up straight, “Take the file with you. You're dismissed.”
The three of them bowed as Namjoon took his seat behind his own desk, turning his gaze to his computer terminal. Shutting the door behind them, they heaved a collective sigh. With much weighing on their minds, they all silently walked to their desks.
Both Taehyung and Jungkook were tense for the entirety of the day. The hybrid's good mood had quickly vanished and Jungkook couldn't help but look at his companion in concern.
He turned his eyes to his monitor, file after file detailing the people associated with the fighting ring.
The particular ring they were investigating was also the closest in relation to the Black Market. In fact, many of the higher-ups within the crime syndicate were Black Market sellers — illegally trafficking hybrids. It was a dark business and the more Jungkook read about it the sicker he felt.
He could only imagine how the hybrid across from him was feeling.
Tumblr media
Jungkook's keys jingled in his hands as he unlocked his front door — it was a simple first-floor apartment with two bedrooms though truthfully the other room was more of a spare since Taehyung never slept in it. He always opted to sleep with Jungkook and the human was all too willing to oblige.
Taehyung was precariously balancing the fast food bags and drinks in his hands. His dog genes helped his balance and he easily nudged the door shut with his foot.
"God, I am beat," Jungkook groaned as he tossed his keys down on the counter separating the kitchen from the living room.
Taehyung hummed in agreement as he sat down on the couch and placed the food on the coffee table. He grabbed the remote and clicked the TV on, mostly for background noise.
Jungkook kicked his boots off and walked down the short hallway to the bedroom, eager to get out of his jeans and put on some sweatpants. He went back out, dressed in a department-issued t-shirt that was overworn so the print on the front was faded.
"Hey Tae—" Jungkook paused in the entryway to the living room. Taehyung was hunched over, elbows on his knees as he rested his chin on his hands. His eyes were locked in on the TV; the news, "You okay?"
"I dunno," Taehyung confessed, sighing when he felt Jungkook reach up to pet his ears.
"Tell me what's on your mind," Jungkook urged, leaning back against the couch and encouraging Taehyung to do the same.
"Human on hybrid crimes are the biggest epidemic in Korea," Taehyung grumbled, "It's only gotten worse since the government has opened up to allow us rights. It's not much, we're still fucking owned like animals and we can even be euthanized," he met Jungkook's gaze and shrugged his shoulders sheepishly, "No offense, you know I love you."
"I know," Jungkook smiled, patting the hybrid's back to urge him on.
Of course he knew that Taehyung would never include him in the “humans are terrible” category. Even Jungkook openly admitted how terrible people could be to hybrids. Taehyung always felt lucky to have someone who supported him and his kind so openly. Many hybrids ended up in awful situations that resulted in injury or death.
Taehyung was glad he never ended up being another statistic.
"The trafficking of hybrids is by far the worst and highest committed crime but humans would rather stay investigating every day thefts and shit," Taehyung spat, malice coating every word as he continued on, "They treat hybrid crimes like they're nothing! It infuriates me! Every day on the news there's another hybrid being kidnapped or found dead after being sold on the black market," Taehyung's eyes were glassy as he clenched his teeth through his anger, "When there's protests, the government does nothing but offer empty words and promises. They'd rather keep the idiots who want hybrids to stay nothing but pets happy than protect a whole race!"
"I know being on this force means a lot to you Taehyung," Jungkook cooed, still stroking his friends ears, keeping him relaxed, "You know I'm with you one hundred percent but...do you think you'll really be able to do this? You're going to be doing a lot of things that go against your morals and you're going to see so much awful shit. Hell, I may even have to blend in with those pieces of shit."
"I..." Taehyung sniffled, resting his head on Jungkook's shoulder, "Truthfully, Jungkook. I'm just...I'll have to fight them."
"You feel guilty," Jungkook whispered, feeling Taehyung nod against his shoulder.
"I know most, if not all, are probably going to be there against their will and I'll only be adding onto what they already go through," Taehyung whispered, voice watery as he finally let his tears fall.
"Yeah I get it," Jungkook resting his cheek atop Taehyung's head, whose ears twitched when his breath fanned over them, "But it's for the greater good in the end, yeah? We'll be able to get them out of there and they'll be able to get real help."
"I guess you're right," Taehyung sniffled, sitting up to wipe his tears away with the back of his hand, "I'm going to get dressed for bed and then we can eat. It's probably cold by now."
"It's okay, we love cold french fries," Jungkook chuckled, making Taehyung smile, flicking the channel to something more light-hearted instead of the news.

The rest of the week was filled with a heavy feeling neither of them could shake. The two of them going through the motions of work and returning home to snuggle in bed, ignoring the looming mission they were going to be undertaking.
They were both terrified of what could happen but neither was willing to speak of their fears.
The day before the operation was set to begin, Namjoon called them into his office before Jungkook could even think of taking off his jacket.
"Yes Captain?" Jungkook greeted, taking a seat in one of the two chairs in front of Namjoon's desk with Taehyung occupying the other.
"I’d like to go over your new identities to be sure you're both well prepared," he said, sliding two folders over to them.
"Yeah that'll be no problem," Jungkook replied nonchalantly, grabbing the folder in front of him and flipping it open.
He’d already memorized everything he needed to but he still scanned the papers inside. Taehyung did the same as Namjoon watched.
A new, fake ID was taped inside along with a couple papers of information. As Jungkook scanned, he soaked in the gist of his new identity.
"Han Jungseok," Jungkook chuckled, the name sounding weird rolling off his tongue, "Code name JK."
"As you’ve learned through your research, it's common practice within the Underground for people to go by codenames," Namjoon explained, "It's more common for humans than hybrids but Taehyung will be going by V anyway."
"Cool name," Taehyung mumbled, looking through his own papers.
"Now, Jungkook," Namjoon said, leaning over to open a drawer. He pulled out a set of keys and a cellphone, sliding them across the surface of his desk until Jungkook grabbed them, "The department will be providing a car for you along with a cellphone. They may confiscate it but Jimin assures me when they accept you, they'll return it. This has phone numbers that you will need to contact throughout your time under cover including the one you will call when you're ready to begin the bust. Officers will be on standby the entire time for your word so use it only when you're positive, understand? You'll have one shot and that's it."
"I understand," Jungkook replied, confidence flowing through him. He knew how this went, he'd been undercover countless times in the past.
Though he knew, deep down, how different this was from the past times. The weight of this operation wasn't lost on him, in fact it'd kept him up restless the past few nights as the date came closer and closer.
"There's also an apartment that will be serving as your residence during the operation," Namjoon said, "It's probably not as nice as your current one but it'll be home from tomorrow on.”
"Yes Sir," Taehyung and Jungkook said in unison.
"The two of you take the day to correlate everything, learn your identities, and get prepared," Namjoon ordered, eyes following as the two cops stood up.
"Thank you, Captain," Jungkook said, bowing. Taehyung followed his lead before the two of them left the office.

The car door slammed as Taehyung got inside, casting the two of them in darkness when the interior light shut off. Jungkook put the key in the ignition and cranked the engine. They were both quiet, the weight of where they were going heavy in their minds.
"We're meeting Jimin downtown," Jungkook said to break the silence, "You got your story straight, right?"
"Yep," Taehyung replied, eyes gazing out the window, "You bought me off the market and you've had me for 2 months."
Jungkook nodded as his partner rehearsed their cover. It fell silent again, Taehyung’s eyes pinned to his hands as they were folded in his lap.
"Are you nervous?" Jungkook asked, glancing at the hybrid out of the corner of his eye.
"Honestly?" Taehyung asked, finally looking at Jungkook. The human nodded, already knowing what the response was going to be, "My hearts beating so fast I can hear it in my ears. I'm scared I'll fuck this up. We've been undercover countless times before and I've never worried about making a mistake like I am now."
"I think appearing more anxious will be a good thing," Jungkook said, not missing the way his own voice wobbled, "I know regardless you can sell this and I know you can do it but being anxious will be more believable if you're being forced into the underground ring."
"I hope you're right," Taehyung whispered, gnawing on his lip.
Jungkook’s grip on the wheel tightened and be swallowed thickly — he hoped he was right too.
The neighborhoods slowly became darker and less well-maintained. Jungkook would sigh whenever he'd hit a pothole, whispering that he was thankful it wasn't his car. Taehyung couldn’t help but crack a smile at his muttering.
The decrepit houses gradually disappeared and turned into warehouses -- in an even more secluded area than before. It set Taehyung's heart racing even faster and it was beginning to bleed into pain. He wished he had something to take to ease the anxiety.
Jungkook finally stopped the car and turned it off. The two of them sat there for a moment, gathering themselves before Jungkook stepped out first. He walked around the car and opened the door, jerking his head to order Taehyung out.
It was almost incredible how Jungkook could so easily fit into a role and persona he was given. It was one of the reasons he was so highly regarded in the undercover operations game — he certainly had a talent for it. The tight grip on his arm had him tensing but when Jungkook gently soothed his thumb over the soft skin, he relaxed slightly.
No matter how cold and detached he appeared, Taehyung couldn't lose sight of the fact it was Jungkook and none of this was real.
"You JK?" an accented voice had Jungkook pausing. The accent was extremely familiar and it immediately made his body tense.
Busan.
"Yeah I assume you're Jimin?" Jungkook responded, keeping his own voice level -- masking the anxiety that hammered at him.
"We'll have more company soon," the new hybrid whispered, anxiously looking over his shoulders. Large, pointed ears twitched in every direction as he listened out for footsteps. "I want to warn you. Whatever you've heard cannot describe what it's really like in the underground. It's much worse than what you think."
"They just...let you roam around alone?" Taehyung asked, not intending to have Jimin expand on what he meant. He'd be seeing for himself soon enough.
"I've gained their trust enough," Jimin shrugged his shoulders before suddenly freezing, "They're coming."
Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as Jungkook tightened his grip on his arm. The human’s face morphed into one of pure cold detachment, turning his nose up at the two hybrids. Jimin took a few steps back to a respectable distance, once gentle gaze turned cold as well.
"These the two?" a short, overweight man asked. He was flanked on either side by a tall, muscular man and a short, stocky guy.
"Yes Sir, JK and V," Jimin answered, hands shoved casually in his pockets.
"How'd you hear about our operation?" The man asked, wandering over to Taehyung, "My name's Hyo by the way."
"Who hasn't heard about it?" Jungkook chuckled, "I got this mutt here a couple months back and he put me out for a pretty penny. He's kind of a little shit so I thought he might as well be of use, right?"
"Right, right, I understand," Hyo chuckled, circling around Taehyung, "He purebred?"
"Black Lab," Jungkook nodded, forcing himself to not check if Taehyung was okay though he could feel the trembles of his partner beneath his grip.
"Damn, hard to find Pures on the Market," Hyo hummed, circling the timid hybrid, "He's a pretty thing. It's a shame his face'll get busted up."
"Not like he can do any other work," Jungkook chuckled, making Hyo smirk.
"Jae!" Hyo shouted, making Taehyung jump. The stocky man immediately walked up to Jungkook, making him stiffen in alarm, "Hope you don't mind, it’s just a formality. Can't be too careful in this line of work."
"Ah..." Jungkook let out a harsh exhale when Jae began to pat him down, "I understand."
Jae worked Jungkook's cell phone out of his pocket and handed it to Hyo, which made Jungkook uneasy. He also took his keys and wallet which was also given to Hyo, who opened it and began to look through everything inside. Then, Jae moved on to search Taehyung which was a quick process since the hybrid didn't have anything on him.
"Just a little cash, card, and ID," Hyo said, announcing it to the three other men working for him, "Kim Jungseok, born in 1997, residence here in Seoul. I hear your accent though, where are you from?"
"Um, Busan," Jungkook responded after clearing his throat.
"All clear," Jae called from behind Taehyung, returning to Hyo's side.
"Jae, here," Jungkook watched nervously as Hyo handed his ID to Jae, "Go scope it out."
"Another formality?" Jungkook chuckled, watching as Jae made his way to the car, confiscated keys dangling from his fingers.
"Like I said..." Hyo paused, looking at the two of them,  "Can't be too careful."
"Yeah, I guess so," Jungkook mumbled, glancing at where Jimin stood straight and stiff.
"Well, follow me," Hyo said, "Jimin, go open up."
The hybrid immediately rushed to do as he was told, unlocking the padlock on the garage door with a small key before pulling it open. It made a loud series of metallic bangs as he pushed it up about halfway.
They all crouched down and entered, Jimin letting the door slam back down behind them. The sound made Taehyung flinch, something Hyo caught sight of.
"Better take care of that, pooch," He sneered, "The others catch even a hint of weakness and they'll tear you to pieces. Wouldn't be much use to your Master if you were a broken mess, would you?"
Taehyung clenched his jaw, looking away from Hyo before scoffing. Hyo didn't seem to appreciate it when he suddenly reached out and grabbed hold of Taehyung's hair, making the hybrid yelp in surprise. Jungkook forced himself not to do anything, simply staring with almost detached boredom while his insides were burning with anger at his best friend being treated like that.
"You answer when a human is talking to you, Mutt," Hyo growled. Jungkook watched, forcing himself not to intervene as Taehyung spat out a half-assed apology that the man thankfully accepted, "You weren't kidding when you said he was a little shit, huh?"
Jungkook barked out a laugh, casting a glance at Taehyung while everyone's backs were turned, "Yeah maybe getting his ass kicked will remedy the problem."
"Oh no doubt!" Hyo laughed, pausing when they finally reached the middle of the warehouse, "Lots of people come in with disobedient animals. The ring really teaches them to straighten up."
Jungkook looked around, nodding his head at Hyo's words. It was mostly empty, clearly not used for anything in particular. Most likely, it was just for meetings like the one Jungkook was currently in. One thing he did notice, however, is a foul smell emanating from somewhere within the large area.
It was strangely familiar, it made him uneasy.
"You know JK," Hyo sighed, a strong put-on sound that had the hair on the back of Jungkook's neck standing on end, "The biggest problem we have out of recruits would have to be...they like to lie."
There was a loud click and both Taehyung and Jungkook froze on the spot. The tall unnamed man had a gun pointed at Jungkook's head.
It was then he realized what the smell was.
The vile stench of blood and death.
