Thinking about how wilder the Masters of the Multiverse comic could have been if it was released today (or rather, if copyright laws and IP laws aren't being too limiting and ya'know).
Imagine the additional alternate universes Anti-Keldor and the He-gang could have encountered and the shit that could go down in there.
Especially if the writers want to be meta.
What if Anti He-Man killed the He-Man in the 2002 reboot so that's why it got cancelled.
Oh, there's no He-Man in SPOP? Oh, Anti He-Man killed him off before Adora could ever meet him.
I'm not sure about the Revelations one considering it's supposedly the same one as Filmation (and tbh I consider Rev a separate universe from Filmation cuz there's way too many differences between the two), but boi would it be swell to see Rev!He-Man be in another almost death situation considering he lost his place in heaven (and said heaven is destroyed too so-).
I feel like the CGI MOTU would be a bit trickier because in that universe He-Man shares the Power of Grayskull with his friends, so absorbing the Power of Grayskull in that AU might give Anti He-Man a lot more work there, so more time to probably strategize how to beat him.
In theory, we can say these things did happen, we just didn't see it. These could be stuff that happened during (and most likely before) Anti Keldor and He-Gang did their journey and stuff. The whole comic series just had 6 issues after all.

Indeed, Hordak does appear Horde Prime-like in this episode when speaking to Keldor, and transforming him. Hordak and Horde Prime have some weird tendency to exchange traits, if more often it's Hordak taking on Horde Prime's traits, when Prime isn't present, or is out of commission/"dead" (like in the DC comics).
The 2002 series might be an example, as while the 2002/200X comics did set-up Horde Prime appearing, the cartoon crew didn't really spoke about using him, and there were some notable differences between the cartoon and comic creators (ie if I remember right, for example Larry DiTillio stated he had a different origin for the Faceless One, than the comic one; the comic crew, especially Emiliano Santalucia had a a different idea for Faker, that would combine him with Anti-Eternia He-Man, rather than the android from Adam's Courage etc.).
It's notable it's Horde Prime in the UK comics who wanted to crack Eternia open (if ordering Hordak, Skeletor, and Hiss to do it), though in the 2002 cartoon Hordak resigned from it, as shown in "Separation".
Hence Hordak might have some Horde Prime-like elements in "The Price of Deceit"
Also though: He went like full Joker
Indeed, it being a direct reference to 1989 Batman. And how prophetic!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Augh, Man at Arms’ badly designed ships crash immediately once one fin tip is gone”
Tumblr media
Ooh, those are bats!
Bats mean the Horde
Tumblr media
That might be some kind of combination of Hordak and Horde Prime, because I’m pretty sure that Horde Prime was the smoky entity in the original continuity
Tumblr media
He went like full Joker

Skeletor’s pets
Skeletor has had three pets. First was Panthor.
Tumblr media
This purple big cat was first mentioned in the December 1982 cartoon bible. Mostly a recolored version of He-Man’s Battle Cat, he lacked a helmet, possibly to show off his cute face since he was Panthor all the time unlike BC’s dual identity. He also never spoke, so we don’t know how intelligent he is.
He’s reappeared in the 2002 cartoon and MotU Revelation. Even Anti-Eternia Keldor had a Panthor in the comic Masters of the Multiverse.
Tumblr media
Dragon appeared in “Skeletor’s Dragon”, the mini-comic packed with the Dragon Blaster Skeletor and Battle Bones toys. He acts like a dog. Sadly, I don’t think he ever appeared in another story.
Tumblr media
And this is Relay. He’s a “Manchine”, part of a whole civilization of robot people and their pets that appeared as part of Etheria’s population in the Christmas Special... and never before or since. Technically he wasn’t Skeletor’s pet there, as while he briefly takes care of Relay, as soon as the Earth children who took him first were saved from Horde Prime, they had him returned to the Manchines. BUT he counts because he belonged to Skeletor in the Little Golden Book “I Am Skeletor”!

As I'm giving the CGI heman series another watch I cannot help but remember 2003-2004 heman x keldor/skeletor shippers. I've personality known one during highschool. I wonder if they still linger I wonder if they're watching the new series now that keldor is officially Adam's uncle.
I wonder if they're reconnecting with the old ship? I wonder if it's creating new shippers?
Heh. I ship Adam and teela but boy did those fans had a hella lot of fun. The days before antis ruin fandoms like a disease.
That old friend of mine wrote some real raunchy fan fiction. Real good ones too as I recalled. Had alot of bdsm.
Anyway, I can't wait for season 2 coming in march.
I love my fandom.

Netlfix He-Man Season 3: It was good, but not great
Hey, guys.
As the title implies, I have an opinion on the recent season 3 of Netlfix He-Man which I binged watched and I did like it and I’m excited for the upcoming season 4 already, but I have to admit that it fell into the "good not great” trap.
Warning that this opinion will have spoilers if you have not watched season 3 or Netflix He-Man and the Masters of the Universe yet.
Number one, Krass’ redemption dragged on for too long in phase 1 and was rushed in phase 2. To understand what I mean, redemption arcs can split into two phases. Phase 1 is the regret and questioning stage. In Krass’ case, it took her almost the entire season to get through and that’s too long even for an eight episode long season (more on this later). Three episodes would have been enough. Phase 2 of a redemption arc is the actual redeeming where the character repents and atones. This part is supposed to take longer because it takes longer to make amends, rebuilt trust and requires several conversations to clear up all of the misunderstandings. Her phase 2 was settled in one second which came across as anti-climatic.
Number two, speaking of anti-climatic, the big reveal about Teela was different, but it did not blow me away. I appreciate that they tried to make her something else other than the Sorceress’ daughter, but making her the clone of the Elderess is essentially the same thing. And because the reveal was rushed, we didn’t get a chance to digest it and the way Teela handled it was off especially for her character considering that she is the most mature and serious of the gang. I was expecting her to be in more shock and even need time to mourn for the Elderess kind of like how king Randor was still mourning for Keldor/Skeletor.
Anyway, number three, it was not kind to its new or secondary characters. When I saw how Merman was written by Netflix, THAT blew me away. His design was badass, his backstory was deep and original, his character was complex and compelling, and he was a powerhouse on the battlefield, but what did the writers do? They offed him just as soon as he was introduced and I cannot lie, this made me mad. This is also why the one-off is an outdated concept in writing. You cannot just make your audience fall in love with a great character and then take them away. And it wasn’t just Merman who got cheated like this. Stratos, Man-E-Faces, the snakemen and even Orko who was there since season 1 only appeared in one or two episodes or were just reduced to being background characters. This is a very unkind thing to do to your audience, folks. Don’t do it.
This all brings me to the last issue; number four, we only got eight episodes which is the root cause of all the problems listed here. You cannot tell a proper story, utilize the cast to its full potential or develop arcs properly in just eight twenty minute episodes. Good stories take time to write so they are going to need time to be told. When you cut corners, the quality gets compromised and yes, it shows even in kid’s media. And if they had no choice, but to only use eight episodes, then I would have concentrated on only two arcs not three or more and written it well. In other words, stick to Krass’ redemptionand and settle Teela’s connection to Elderess in season 3, while revealing the ugly secret of King Grayskull, and the second reign of terror of Skeletor in season 4. And at the risk of being nitpicky, they should have kept Merman alive as a secondary villain kind of like how Stratos and his gang are secondary good guys.
Now don’t me wrong, I still like this series, I just think that season 3 was a bit buggy and I hope that season 4 will be good. Anyway, these are my thoughts, what are yours?
Thank you for reading and as always, stay safe.

Skeletor and the Evil Warriors are the Anti Princesses of Power
Tumblr media
Okay so if your reading my fan fiction She-Ra and the Princesses of Power you know it’s a He-Man/She-Ra Crossover. However the way I characterize the characters I’ve been trying it in a way to have as many ties to She-Ra as possible.
One of them is by making the Evil Warriors the Anti-Princess Alliance.
Spoilers ahead
....
....
....
...
....
So first off, Skeletor is Adora’s Uncle. BUM BUM BUM. Yeah I’m doing the Randor and Keldor are brothers things. However my Skeletor is a lot less sadistic and more, hot headed to the point of goofy sometimes. The Evil Warriors, more or less based of the 2002 versions are the same.
However one thing I did was essentially turned them into a Evil Version of the Princess Alliance. First off because if you REALLY think about it, the Evil Warriors are the underdogs while the Eternia army are the power that be. Also unlike say the Horde which had a army, Skeletor doesn’t have foot soldiers and tank and what not, he just has his goons and not really anything else. Plus the Evil Warriors are filled with colorful characters and goofy shenagins when not being all evil.
So yeah, I sorta made the Evil Warriors the Anti-Princess Alliance since they are Evil Warriors and Must be Strong ;p

Actually now that I think about it, Multiverse really didn’t have anyone interact with their counterparts aside from Keldor/Skeletors and the numerous he-men.
Like when I heard this thing was coming out and that it was about the he men having to band together to defeat an anti eternia he man, I kinda expected there to be more chaos and interaction and mingling between the worlds.
It ended up just being a road trip through self-contained settings and while I guess it worked, I just kinda felt it defeated the purpose of a mass crossover.
Now I’m just thinking of the fact that Stratos’ wife was changed to being a sister in the Filmation show and imagining minicomics Stratos finding Filmation Delora and she introduces herself as Filmation Stratos’ sister and Minicomics Stratos just looks at the camera like he’s in the office

Okay!
I’ve listened to a lot of other people’s theories, and I think - I JUST think - I might have an idea for the incarnation of Skeletor we’re all waiting for:
First off, the First Ones, the ancient Eternians, weren't settlers. They were colonizers. But Etheria wasn't just one of many colony planets, it was more of a giant experiment. For crying out loud, they hollowed out the core to make room for tech! Everything was working toward making Etheria’s natural abundance of magic more efficient and user friendly. Mara’s job as She-Ra was to oversee this artificial balance as it flourished. Unfortunately, whether it was the intention or not, Mara discovered the rune stones’ power could too easily make Etheria one REALLY BIG loaded gun. She transferred Etheria to Despondos to hide this weapon forever. Meanwhile, the leaders of Eternia would realize the immorality of colonizing, (Maybe after Etheria vanished, maybe generations afterward,) and became the powerful but peaceful planet it is now. (”Now” is mainly the show, but let’s say end of season three.)
For the man himself, there is no Skeletor or He-Man as of yet. There is only Prince Adam and his uncle, Prince Keldor. Although Eternia protects itself from the Horde with super powerful tech, Keldor believes direct offence must be taken, and the weapons for such can be found in Eternia’s history. Adam agrees with his uncle. Partially because he’s something of a history geek. Partially because losing Baby Adora made Adam’s parents Nth level overprotective, so he gets along better with the uncle who won't baby him.
Keldor has scoured the planet for ancient weapons. At an excavation of the ruins of Castle Grayskull, he even tries calling forth legendary power from King Grayskull’s sword. Despite doing everything right, it doesn’t work. Then he gets wind of his nation’s old Etheria project. Now THERE’S an asset against the Horde. As Keldor plans how to utilize Etheria’s destructive capabilities, his hatred for the Horde consumes him. He grows more and more ruthless and sadistic. He crosses the line of anti-villain into villain by trying to kill his nephew or long-lost niece. The attempt instantly backfires, resulting in his horrific transformation. Keldor dies. Long live Skeletor. The man who will destroy the Horde at any cost.
Hero/Villain relationships in SPOP are extremely personal. All of Adora’s major adversaries are someone who cuts deep. Adam’s archnemesis requires this element to fit with the show’s formula. Skeletor must be, on a certain wavelength, He-Man’s Catra. Since he’s Adora’s blood, the formula also fits their hypothetical relationship too.

Here’s my take on my boy!
So me and @emperorsfoot stated chatting and we both came up with this au from the He-Man and the Masters off the Multiverse comic books where Adam lived after he and everyone else got the anti power exorcised from them and now he’s just tiny, angry and traumatized. Cause him and everyone that got affected basically could see what they where doing but couldn’t stop it. That alone has so much angst potential
He’s just a wreck honestly
Adam is just 130 pounds of angst at this point. He won’t hesitate to stab a racist/homophobe/sexist. Keldor, Lyn, and Red are basically just making sure he doesn’t kill anyone. Keldor tried to get Adam to express himself i. A healthy manor. Lyn basically the fun aunt where she’s just like...
“Okay I know Keldor and your dad said not to stab anyone but their not here right now so yes you can go stab the racist.”
Red(Beastman) takes him i the woods to punch something or to go hunting.
Randor tries to bound but doesn’t know how.
Adora and Catra come back from a long ass honeymoon and are just like
Tumblr media
So their just confused. Catra just screamed WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!?!?!
Please like/reblog. Don’t repost on other sights
