in the aftermath of s6e11 im convinced most of these people saying that theyre disappointed with the ending(s) are only saying that cuz only one scene changed across all three, some plots that were left open werent concluded (lets be real here. no show has ever cleaned up n finished all its plotlines), and nandermo is only happy ending hypnosis canon (again. we knew they were never actually going canon since like series 2) and almost nobody dislikes it for any reason beyond that. literally the only major thing that stuck out to me as being bad is the guide somehow being anti-immigrant

I’m weirdly satisfied with Pat and Humphrey’s death, like obv they didn’t deserve it but I wouldn’t have it any other way? Kitty and Cap’s death aren’t revealed yet, but I hope Kitty’s didn’t cause her much pain bc my girl’s been through enough and I hope Cap’s either got the funniest or most earth-shattering one.

Apart from that, I don’t think I will be able to handle another ghost being sucked off (except for some, uh, cases 👀)

As for Alison and Mike, I’d rather have them die due to old age.

This blog is multi-verse with each verse having a fixed timeline. This means that there is continuity within threads. If something happens to your muse in one thread it may impact later interactions and plots.

This blog has two main verses. One is a supernatural universe that combines mixed media (spn, wwdits, twilight, etc) and original lore. The other is a historical fiction pirate verse which pulls from PoTC, OFMD, and BS. I don't currently have a comprehensive pages on my lore for either, however, everyone is encouraged to ask questions.

Shipping tends to depend on the muse. Some muses are in open relationships, unattached, or engage in polyamory while others are single ship. Any ships that do happen are based off chemistry. Whether or not a ship is canon means very little to me.

thinking about how all the rampant queerbaiting in the 2010s has fucked with the way today's queer audience receive queer media to the point that writers have little choice but to present queer romance in a very spelled-out way, compared to how light a touch is needed to make it clear that a man and a woman are attracted to each other or in love

it's david jenkins being amazed and saddened that so many people really didn't the romance was going to happen until the kiss even though it was beat for beat explicitly a love story. it's matt and liam on twitter after the critical role c2 finale confirming that when they talked about caleb and essek being together, they DID mean romantically. it's johnny sims being a little sad that one of the biggest questions on their post-season-4 q&a was if jon reciprocated martin's feelings, because he simply isn't the kind of character to outright say 'I love you' and they wanted to stay true to that, but they'd spent months crafting this season as a romance arc. I think it's at the root of the conflict in the good omens fandom over whether it's 'okay' to have crowley and aziraphale's relationship be platonic or undefined and still consider them queer, and I can't help but wonder if it was part of the reason they made things so much more clear-cut in the latest season of wwdits

I'm not saying that in-your-face queer love isn't fantastic and very important, and of course in the past queer stories had to be spelled out because queerness was so invisible, but today things are very different and imo the media's catch-up has been held back a little because of the queerbaiting era. the need to make queer romance black-and-white obvious or risk the audience's doubt is a limitation straight romance doesn't have, and it's a shame writers have to choose between showing us those subtler kinds of characters and stories and making sure the audience know for certain that these characters are definitely queer - and it's all because a bunch of money-hungry networks wanted to have their cake and eat it when it came to pleasing both queer and anti-queer viewers, and made a whole generation of queer audiences suspicious of queer-coded media in the process
