As a comic book fan that just so happens to also be a fan of the MCU, that creep Sparky DOES NOT and NEVER WILL represent MCU fans like myself!

He can go straight to Hell.

And before anyone comes for me, I love other films as well! My favourite filmmakers include Hichcock, Fellini, Kurosawa, Kubrick, De Palma, Argento, Fredkin, Pasolini, Svankmajer, Tarantino, Scorsese, Coppola, Del Toro and many others. Whenever I see film, be it indie art-house, drama, horror, animated or the classics, I don't shout "WhERe'rE ThE EaStEr EgGs", "wHeRe'rE ThE FlAsHy FiGhTs" or "WhErE'S ThE AfTeR-CrEdIts ScEnE" like some drooling idiot! I've never met anyone like that in real-life. That's just some stupid made-up strawman!

Yes, I enjoy the MCU, I enjoy Disney's Star Wars, I love their animated films and TV shows but that does NOT make me some anti-art, cooperate-bootlicking drone with no identity!

But yes, Sparky is a disgusting monster who just latches on to popular things in order to prey on innocent people. What matters is that we recognize him and chase him away so that he may hurt no one ever again.

For claiming she hosts a safe space for victims of sexual abuse, Solid Lily sure loves to surround herself with predators.

Sparky and Static both share the last name ”Inazuma”. I doubt this is a coincidence to Genshin Impact’s Inazuma, cuz you draw Genshin stuff sometimes. But it leads me to make some theories/speculations or smth similar.

Sparky and Static are “mirrors” to Ei/her puppet “The Shogun” and Makoto. Sparky and Shogun are both aggressive in their own ways, and both share a (somewhat) callous personality. But unlike Shogun, who can’t think for herself, Sparky is more than aware of what he does because he’s. well. human… atleast somewhat??? You also mentioned that the Creature’s bite also worsened Sparky’s attitude, this lowkey mirrors the Fatui’s influence on the Shogun but thats just me.

Meanwhile, there’s Static and the actual Ei and/or Makoto depending on how you see it. I personally see it as a mix of both but ehhhhhh. Makoto is said to have “cherished each moment within time and space.”, reflecting Static’s love and care for everyone in the group. That’s literally all I can point out because. MAKOTO IS DEAD.

Now, lemme get onto the *fun* part :3

I straight up believe Static is gonna die one way or another in the story. My main theory is that it’s gonna be via the Creature. But yknoooow. Perhaps as a starting point for something like Spark’s character development? I have a feeling he won’t be a jerk forever lol.

I felt hesitant posting this cuz I am straight up just YAPPING. But. Uh. Yeah.

I cracked the code my fellow gamers, Ei and Yae are Sparky and Static’s moms guys TRUST!!!!!! /JJJJJJ

So for firstly

I went with the name Inazuma when i conceptualized the characters back in around 2014, cause since Sparky and Static are japanese so i figured to give them a last name that was fitting since most of OC's names are puns, just relating to personality or their powers, so i just used the japanese word for lightning since it's Sparky elemental power and Static's his brother so they share a last name.

Secondly, I can definitely see that kind of comparison. Sparky is indeed a human, is just the Creature bite gave some of her virus in Sparky, so he's basically a cross between a normal human and a slow mutating Creature (which you can see happen in arts like these where his veins start to glow looking like "cracks" and his eyes turn red and sharp teeth)

And for thirdly, While Static does not die, he does come CLOSE to actually dying, mostly from protecting his brother who, while he can brush off alot of pain and can heal from nearly all fatal blows, is still his baby brother so he wants to be the one protect him. Luckily, Hyrdo had the idea of using one of the meteorite shards (which is what gave the characters their elemental powers) to save Static from blood loss, since it will give him a healing factor and allow him to join the team.

Lastly, while that is an interesting turning point, Static has been one of the few characters Sparky is nicer (more tolerable towards) at the initial start of the series, next to his parents. Its more people not connected to his immediate family he's more inclined to be rude and aggressive towards. However there is a soon similar event that leads to Sparky needing his big wake up call, but not before another tragedy takes place.

Rain has been anxious about the Christmas gift he had gotten for Aeon. It was something he knew the quintessence ghoul not only needed, but wanted, so he didn’t think he’d upset the younger, per se, but it’s not exactly a typical Christmas present, either. They’re usually funny or meaningful, sometimes both, and this is just–Rain simply doesn’t want Aeon to be disappointed.

He has a backup, except…well, it’s not really a backup because Rain is going to give it to Aeon regardless of his reaction to the first one, but he supposes he can call it that, anyway.

They have spent the previous night together—and the previous one, and the one before that, too, and a couple more before that, as well—so after breakfast Aeon skitters over to his room to fetch the present and then returns to Rain. 

“Can I go first?” the water ghoul asks, pulling a sizable box out from under his bed. Aeon’s eyes light up as he nods; Rain puts the box in his lap and sits on the other side of the bed.

He can’t stop his lips from forming a gentle smile as he watches the joy on the younger ghoul’s face when he digs his claws into the gift.

“I've seen you eyeing them,” Rain admits as Aeon rips off pieces of the gift wrap, “and even though I know it might not be your biggest dream, I think–or hope, at least, that you’ll like them.”

The packaging seems all but anti-burglary, so it takes him a little while, but eventually Aeon gets to see the vague shape as he continues the unwrapping.

“Are these–THE BAT CRUTCHES!!!” he exclaims happily; Rain can see right away that it’s a genuine reaction—not faked for his sake—so he exhales in relief. “They look so cool, Rain, I love them! Thank you so much!”

The water ghoul grins—glad about the gift well received. “I wanted to get you something functional and I know you weren’t very likely to get them yourself.”

“That’s…true,” Aeon admits, giggling. He unwraps the crutches further and runs his fingers over the bats printed on them. “Thank you.”

“Hope they serve you well,” Rain smiles and pats the other’s thigh. He admires his new mobility aids for a little bit longer before putting them away and grabbing the sparky bag that the water ghoul assumes contains his gift.

“I feel less awkward about this, now,” Aeon chuckles, handing it to Rain. “It took me a while to find them, I hope they’re going to fit.”

The water ghoul smiles kindly before digging into the shiny gift bag and pulling out the box. He turns it around in his hands and it takes him a moment to realize what it is, but then he sees the description.

He lights up immediately. “For my wheelchair?”

“They don’t make them specifically for wheelchairs, but I figured the ones for bikes should work,” Aeon explains as he nods, grinning. They’re sparkly blue shark clips for bike wheels, meant by the quintessence ghoul for Rain’s wheelchair; which is already nicely customized and decorated, making the wheels seem a little bare.

“Aeon, these are amazing,” the water ghoul smiles widely—also genuinely amazed and happy. “Wanna help me put them on?”

“Hm, yes, but…later? I have–uh, one more gift for you.”

“Oh? Do you now? I also have one more thing, but it’s–” Rain starts a teasing attempt, but gets distracted by Aeon revealing said other gift. “Oh.”

The box of shark clips falls from Rain’s hands and hits the floor as he moves to unpack the second present—a pretty little quintessence ghoul clad in lingerie, just for him to enjoy.

The scene where Wanda turns Agatha into a slave of the mind reminds me of the scene where Thor tortured Loki. What's next? Bucky and Sam torture Zemo? Good thing Tony is dead. They can't destroy him(how have you fallen Marvel that I'm glad you killed the sacrificial Tony Stark?)

Yes! Specially her grin after she turned her into Agnes made me cringe and I was also reminded of how Thor grinned and enjoyed watching Loki being tortured by the obedience disk.

just my thoughts

One thing I’ve been noticing more and more recently is. A lot of people have been saying they think Cosmo and Wanda must’ve gotten marriage counseling between the ending of the OG show and the beginning of the new one.

Which is fine! I think if anyone wants to take everything from the original, even the "bad", as canon, that’s entirely okay. As much as I would like to pretend those things were never written, I can’t change the fact that they were written.

But one thing I think is important to note is: Cosmo and Wanda were never intended to be written in a loveless marriage in the first place. They were never intended to be written mean, or neglectful, or hateful. And that’s very obvious to me, reading the original show’s pitch and reference books.

There is nothing in this world that could ever convince me Cosmo and Wanda were meant to be anything but loving. These are screenshots from the original Pitch and the show’s guideline booklet:

They really spell it out perfectly. “It’s a show about friendship.” It was always meant to be.

The inclusion of “great, fleshed-out characters” here leads me to believe they never meant for Cosmo or Wanda to become flanderized to a single trait. Cosmo was never meant to just be “the idiot”, and Wanda was never meant to be the “anti-fun” one. They were meant to be equals.

“[he] doesn’t have a mean bone in his... body,” as well tells me Cosmo was never meant to be written the way he was in later seasons; he wasn’t meant to be mean, nor was he meant to hate his wife. It’s my belief that, had the writers never changed, or had they hired writers who Did care, the writing of the show would not have suffered the way it did.

Around the time Cosmo and Wanda’s characterization began deteriorating, they had hired writers who were notorious for writing mean-spirited and anti-marriage jokes in other shows. And this was around the time those sexist and “I hate marriage” jokes began seeping into the Fairly Oddparents’ writing. Nickelodeon saw success with the pilot and first two seasons of the show, and when their original writers left, they hired people who didn’t care as much for the continuity or storytelling of the show because they wanted that success to continue.

I think a lot of people tend to forget this show was cancelled five separate times during its run. For every season past its fifth, they wanted to end production, but Nickelodeon would not let them.

It was, and still is, one of Nickelodeon’s highest rated and longest running shows they’ve ever made; they kept ordering new episodes, despite the writer’s wish for it to end, because Nick wanted to ride its success. They didn’t care if it deteriorated or got worse; they just wanted it to continue making them money.  

That’s why so many characters were added to the show past season five. Nick told the writers they had to add one new character per season. That’s why Poof, Foop, Goldie, Sparky, and Chloe were all added—for views and for money.

And when it stopped making them money, they cut its budget. They switched to flash animation. They moved it to their sister channel, where Nicktoons go when they’re not profitable enough for the network.

The original was a show that suffered in the hands of corporate greed.

I really, really appreciate the new show and all who have worked on it for taking what went wrong with the original and repairing it from the ground up. Oddparents has been my special interest since I was a child; it means a lot to me to see it, once again, in the hands of people who seem to really care. (though, this does not include what they did to cupid)

Again, if anyone wants to headcanon C&W as going through marriage counseling, that’s entirely fine! This isn’t meant to be me taking a jab at anyone or anything; it’s more-so just me spilling my own thoughts (because I sure have a lot of them). And if anyone likes anything from the "worse" seasons, thats fine, too! Even I like episodes from the later seasons. They're not all bad!

I might just be biased, but I truly fail to understand how people see Agatha as a villain. Anti-hero and morally dubious perhaps, but villain no. I'm absolutely not saying she's perfect. That woman is deeply flawed and fucked up, but evil is not what I'd describe her as.

People keep putting emphasis on her being a killer. I guess we'll see it in a flashback episode but by now the only people Agatha "murdered" that we know of were all due to the inability to control her powers. The Salemites and Evanora knew and they still tried to attack her like the dumb cunts they are while she was screaming that she can't control it. Alice was an accident caused by her dipshit mother who's 100% to blame for what Agatha turned out like. The most evil thing we've seen her do both in WandaVision and Agatha All Along came with the relevation that she controlled Ralph (on top of him being controlled by Wanda), making him poison Sparky, and using the twins as bait for Wanda.

Is she self centered and cunning? Absolutely. But she's mostly acting like a wounded animal seeking refuge. After a lifetime of coming across people who from the start refuse to give you a chance, and not only that, but try to actively take you out, who wouldn't be? Her powers have been a thing of notoriety and people still fucking decide to attack her. Quite frankly, that's on them. Agatha's primary tactic is literally being annoying and for centuries people keep falling for it by not stopping and thinking for a second (except Lilia apparently in episode 2).

We accepted Wanda as a deeply flawed, traumatized person who did what she did, which was by all means torturous and left permanent mental scars on the citizens of Westview, out of colossal grief, childhood trauma, personal desires and her own inability to control her feelings and powers and did not mark her as evil, but Agatha going through similar trauma (which lasted, mind you, centuries longer than Wanda's) and doing similar things is irredeemable?

Yeah, I don't fuck with that.

Why did I see a TikTok of someone saying, “How do people ship Elain and Azriel?” Hello??? Did we not read the same books? I’m honestly tired of people saying that Gwyn and Azriel match because Gwyn can “fix” him and help him with his darkness and stuff. 🙄 He doesn’t even have a crush on her! That’s not his mate at all!

Let’s be real: we know that the bonus chapter didn’t happen at the end of the book—it was in the middle. Which means, when the BR happened, Azriel didn’t even react to Gwyn! He didn’t do anything! Not to mention that not everyone has read the bonus chapter. I hate the fact that Gwyn got dragged into these ship wars. 🙄

It's crazy that people want a love triangle with two women fighting for a MAN? like no. Its about time I leave this fandom and never come back. im sick of all these toxic people. ill just wait until the book comes out.

One of the biggest indicators of a bond is overprotectiveness--Azriel didn't care Gwyn was in the BR which happened after the sparky spark they love. "ACOSF ENDED WITH GWYNRIEL. SJM SAID WE WOULD KNOW WHO THE NEXT BOOK WAS ABOUT WHEN WE GOT TO THE END OF ACOSF." No, the BC was in a limited edition book in two countries from 1 store. If not for people uploading to the internet, you would have to buy an oop edition of the book to read it--if you even knew it existed which millions of people still don't years later.

If the BC was as important as antis claim in showing a Gwynriel bond, wouldn't SJM say hey maybe read this before the next book? Or make it available on her web page? Because otherwise, there is nothing going on between to the two. I think the BC is unknown Lightsinger business but in actual ACOSF? Nothing.

"Gwyn is the only one to make Azriel smile!" False, Azriel smiles plenty but Elain is the only one that made him belly laugh and seem happiest he's ever been. Which is was noted. Specifically.

"The shadows don't like Elain!" The shadows have no problem with Elain, they wanted to defend her, they wing manned Azriel...the shadows even CARESSED FEYRE'S CHEEK but because they danced with Gwyn's BREATH that means more for some reason.

Never mind that they don't take half a second to look up skittered in a dictionary or the fact that skittered was used several times around people other than Elain.

And all this talk about fixing Azriel like Gwyn is a mechanic garage and as soon as Azriel sticks his dick inside he'll magically become better. Azriel has personal issues for sure, so does every character in the story, everyone has trauma, nobody can "fix" the other but I don't understand what Gwyn is supposed to "fix" and why she is the only one that can do that and supposedly handle Azriel's darkness?

All this just shows me antis just want the same copied/pasted relationship that we've seen over and over or can't come up with anything on their own. There are different types of relationships outside of snarky banter and challenging someone.

Maybe Azriel doesn't need anyone to fix him or handle his darkness. He doesn't need his life to be training, swords and daggers, fighting, blood and to be "challenged" all the time. Maybe all he needs is a peaceful place to rest his head at the end of the day, to have the smell of roses and bread around him, to find a place of peace where he can put down his walls and his dagger and just be. No challenges, no training, no fighting. Just rest, relaxation, and gentle fingers running through his hair.

After dev was separate from irep devi heads home, but a door shows up in his room

He would later meet sparky (not sure how he board the train, but he can have a number, too) his problem can me him moving on from timmy.

Dev would meet Mirror Dev ( dexter is the name dev would giving him due to mirrior dev being a technically being an dimmadome) dexter would also give himself curly hair like the fan art of dev would give him.

They would be causing dev to revert, offering to offer him the ability to do whatever he wanted.

Grace would try to place doubt in dev with the idea that daxter and one-one don't have numbers implying their not real (nulls) with sparky be a hard case to convince dev due to sparky having a number.

He would eventually turn down the offer when they try wheel one-one and daxter.

(Not sure if I want daxter to be wheeled or save for another story)

Sparky would suffer the same fate as Atticus

[Amilea would try to convince him that she can make a train car where his dad pays attention to him, but dev realize that wouldn't be real]

Everything else would end the same with dev saying goodbye to daxter(maybe) one-one and sparky. ( his number is 13 )

When dev returns he apologize to peri and makes some quick wishes considering the magic build with how long dev been gone ( I remember it was confirmed in some interview that tulip was gone for months) I would say a week or 2 at best for dev for peri magic build up time frame.
