a thought tho it's interesting we are seeing Finn parallels with E cause that's kinda always what the relationship reminded me of.

like I don't think e actually loves Bellamy and I didn't think Finn actually loved Clarke. might seem crazy to say lol but I said it. I think it was obsession, reverence, fucking worshipping them like gods devotion...but I don't think it was love.

I think in Finn's case he was just young, stupid, and traumatized. With E idk my dudes. I think she was raised to follow a king/queen and that became who she is...she's nothing without him...so she snapped.

So I might have made my Amazing Mom (50 yo, mind you) watch the first episodes of the 100 and she's already trash for it, and more importantly trash for Bellarke. Some of her golden lines include

Ep 3, the scene with Clarke killing Atom : "You think he likes her? I think he likes her" following by an appreciative nod from her part

Ep 3, still "You know from all Clarke's love interests, I think I would like her to be with Bellamy"

Ep 4, "Bellamy and Clarke, still" followed by "I'm wayyyyyy too invested in this relationship" ME TOO MOM ME TOO

Ep 4, "so Raven is obviously going to make it to the earth... I hope she reunites with Finn and is a wingsman to push Bellamy and Clarke together" followed by "I can't believe I just said that"

Ep 4, Watch begrudgingly Clarke and Finn hook up "Well they're going at it QuIcKLY" with the most passive agressive tone I ever heard her talk

And I would like to make an honorable mention to her saying "jackass" every time Murphy was on screen.

I can't believe, that after killing 18 innocent people (including elderly and children), Finn fucking Collins has the nerve to try to justify it by telling Clarke he was trying to save her because he's "in love" with her. As if slaughtering 18 innocents in their own village has any kind of justification

Let Me Get This Straight...

So Clarke and Finn can get together after having known each other for like two days and despite him having a whole ass girlfriend fighting to get back to him. Clarke and L.xa can kiss like two days after Clarke was forced to kill Finn because L.xa commanded it, and sleep together after L.xa betrayed her, forcing her to kill everyone in Mount Weather, even the innocent. Bellamy and E.cho can get together after she nearly killed his sister and betrayed him countless times and was respenosible for the death of his last girlfriend. Raven and Shaw, while adorable and I ship them with my whole heart, can get together after only knowing each other for a few days. But Bellamy and Clarke, who has had the most development and growth. Who has seen the best and worst of each other, who arguably has the most healthy relationship in the show can’t be together because it would be too typical and boring and predictable and they are better off as friends??!! Like I’m not sure what kind of lesson I’m supposed to take away from this show in regards to relationships, but no matter how you slice it, you’re sending the wrong one, fix it Jason.

• Flarke he wouldn’t have killed Finn.

• Clexa he wouldn’t have killed Lexa.

• Niylarke (Niylah x Clarke) he wouldn’t have made Niylah a minor character.

• Ginamy (Gina x Bellamy) he wouldn’t have killed Gina and made her a minor character.

• Becho he wouldn’t have made Echo unlikeable and he would’ve showed us their full love story.

I agree with you about echo. she's not a memorable character and should not have been promoted over one of the original delinquents who worked their ass off from the start and stuck around for five years w out being treated right.

Chelsey deserved so much better I hope she and Chris thrive after leaving.

Exho is about as memorable as Finn and they also have three more things in common which happen to be the only things that I remember about either of them:

1. love interest of (and obsessed with) one of the leads but had zero chemistry with them.

2. treated raven like shit.

3. generally disliked by the fandom and their relationship with the main had five shippers.
