i always see people saying that lexa’s face after clarke kills finn is one of surprise because she’s realising that clarke could have just as easily killed her. and while i’m sure that could be the case, i always saw it as lexa being completely stunned and sickened by her guilt. we know that losing costia was a key point in lexa’s life and caused her to view love as weakness, and i think that she saw clarke, bloodied and crying over her first love and holding a knife and burdened by leadership, and thought of herself and felt so guilty that she’d just watched clarke lose her first love, just like she did, because of her own orders.

so his story / details about him are just gonna be put together in categories since i havent really fully made a fleshed out backstory for him yet, its just really a bunch of ideas i wanna put together once i get back to writing again

His brother was always out with friends, breaking into cars and stealing them, coming home drunk, etc. The little time that Elias did spend with his brother was pleasant, through a shared interest of gaming, etc. His older brother was pretty caring for Elias though” + “His father and him were close up until when Elias hit about 10 years old, as Elias became more distant and started lacking interest in things he used to enjoy.” + “Elias wasn’t really into what his father wanted him to do though, leading to his father becoming somewhat bitter towards him. This was due to the 'lack of masculinity’ that Elias had, and because as Elias grew older, he reminded his father more and more like his mother” + “Him and his mother had a very good relationship up until when his mother and father split. She would always be there for him, and always told him that nothing he did could stop her from loving him. To say the least, she was caring towards him and was definitely more open than his father”

The way everyone tried to save Finn is still extremely jarring and off-putting. I know it’s ‘kill everyone but the main cast and you won the battle’ but seriously? Finn murdered 18 innocent people over a miscommunication. There’s no coming back from that. I just still can’t believe they try to make the viewers sympathize with him and feel bad that he eventually dies.

To the boys I didn't speak up to, to correct in my Stats class. Clarke didn't suddenly become a lesbian, she's bi and she maybe only just realized it. Yes Finn died, he was an ass and killed innocent people. You're straight white boys and I didn't want to start an argument that I knew I wasn't going to win. It was three against one. After much thought on whether or not I should finally catch up on The 100, I went with doing it.

But it's been so long that I'm doing a rewatch first and...

I had forgotten what BABIES those kids were. All shiny and bright eyed and wow I feel bad for them.

Like, who is this baby faced Ark's Princess. Already brave and stubborn but so untested, so innocent.

And wow I forgot how much I used to wanna punch Bellamy. Also his hair was terrible. I am so embarrassed for him. Also also SO many ironic lines from him. "I'm going to get that wristband if I have to cut off her hand to do it". Good luck with that Bellamy.

And when Wells showed up I practically burst into tears. Cuz it turns out, yeah I'm still mad about it.

And I had almost forgotten how much I hated Finn. Even before the massacre. He was such a fuckboy. I had totally forgotten that he started flirting with not only Clarke but also Octavia as soon as they hit the ground.

Raven deserved better. She's wayyy too good for him. Speaking of, watching her fighting to get to her boyfriend with all the power of her heart and brain makes me want to murder Finn myself.

And Octavia. Wow. I barely recognize her. It's sooooo weird. That butterfly scene is such contrast to where she ends up.

And then there's Abby and Kane who are just... well there's a relationship that flips a switch.

Anyway, rewatching The 100 is weird. I feel weird. I mean it's great. But also so weird.
