I realised I’d never really done a proper kiss for the two of them so I decided to scribble one for yustelle day this year! Based on the headcanon I have that Yuri would go to prison/exile for his crimes after all the events of the game, this is how I imagine their reunion afterwards would be like ;w;

I really love the fact that Yuri is Just Some Guy. Like...
Lloyd is the son of one of the Four Seraphim.
Luke is the Light of the Sacred Flame (sorta...)
Asbel is the heir to a noble house
Milla is the Lord of Spirits (sorta...)
Sorey is the Shepherd
Velvet is the sister-in-law of the main antagonist
Alphen is the Sovereign
And then there's Yuri, who is Just Some Guy. Broke-ass Knight drop-out, unemployed, knows some tricks with a sword but nothing anyone else couldn't pick up with training.
The only reason he's the hero is because he saw a problem and decided that someone had to do something about it, and that someone may as well be him. I love that for him.
Shout out to the other Just Some Guy protags like Jude, too. Love that for them, too.
