Pfeiffer isn't random at all! Firstly it's a direct reference to the 1944 cult movie Feuerzangenbowle in which the main character, an adult writer, pretents to be a school boy and claims his name to be Hans Pfeiffer "Pfeiffer with three 'f'", to his unsuspecting teachers. Pfeiffer also means either piper (like the smoking pipe) or whistler, which I associated with the wistle going off shortly before a train departs.

The uniform I'm using for the submas is the 50s New York Yankees' bc y'know, the AU plays in the 50s so it'd be weird to use modern uniforms.

Imagine being a member of the Task Force who's pining after Ghost, but thinking he's not able to fall for anyone right now and may very well never be. It's fine though - you're happy with standing by his side - or at least you try to convince yourself you are. Soap has a deeper bound with him than you, but that's fine too. You would never dare to come between them. Never dare to deprive Ghost of someone he needs.

So when you see Soap in mortal peril, you don't even need to think about it. You shove him out of the way and take the bullet/knife meant for him. You survive, but barely. All is well.

Or so you think, until Ghost barges into your hospital room and rips into you. His fury is equal to the feelings you made him go through: resentment for throwing your life away so casually, fear of losing you, and the helplessness of being unable to save you.

All this time you’ve been convinced that he'd be happier with Soap alive, even if it meant you dead, so you're utterly confused in front of his rage.

The Killer

So I was hanging out with some friends last night, and for whatever reason, we got onto the subject of whether or not we sleep with the bedroom door closed. Apparently it's safer in case of fires? But it turns out that most of my friends keep their bedroom door closed because of concerns about The Killer, aka, a person breaking into their house at night with the express intention of murdering them.

For the purposes of this poll, "I share a house/apartment" is for situations where you have your own bedroom, but there are other people living with you; "I share a bedroom" is for situations where there is another person sleeping in the same room.

these are all kinda related so i’ll answer in order

the drowning sounds are from unused sonic boom audio clips, some of them are probably him getting electrocuted

the last 15 seconds is audio from sonic boom (most are unused/used in later games), team sonic racing, and mario and sonic at the olympic games (2020)
