SCREW IT I'M GONNA TALK ABOUT MY OCs!! This is Vanya Sokolov, he's a teenage Durast! He started off as being a Nikolai Lantsov ripoff, without the royalty and demon thing lol, but as I rewrote and rewrote his profile and backstory, he has more differences than in the beginning. Vanya is a reader, loves increasing his knowledge, he's an outgoing, chatty and easy excitable person, who can be very much clingy because he fears abandonment and loneliness like nothing else. They prefer to only show his joyous and happy sides to people, keeping his self-doubts and negative thoughts mainly to themselves. They're prone to losing stuff and it's barely possible for him to be seen still; he's always moving in one way or another. He's extroverted and knows many people, however, most of his relations are very superficial because of that and not really letting people in. He was born in Ryevost and has two sisters, Viktoria and Irina, his mother was a medik, his father owned a workshop. But the parents died of firepox when he was seven. For some time the siblings lived in the orphanage in Keramzin before they were separately adopted. Vanya was adopted by a childless couple living in Shu Han and that's also where he was tested when he was nine. It took some convincing and begging for his adoptive parents to let him go to the Little Palace. Vanya is bisexual and is fast to crush on people, but usually he doesn't do anything about it, because as fast as the crushes come, they also disappear again. In honour of his father he has a tattoo of two linked gear wheels on his left shoulder blade. His favourite food is warm bread with butter, his favourite colour is yellow (especially in combination with gold), he loves sunshine and nature and adventure romance books. He also affectionately bites people, when he's overwhelmed by excitements or love for them.

Trey: big brother who knows how to deal with annoying kids, and look at his arms, LOOK AT HIS ARMS, the baker boy has his secrets.

Cater: hand him his phone, put him next to Idia and Ortho and you’ll see

Bella, Trey and Cater: for them, fighting with no magic is just like teasing their juniors but on another level.

Ace and Deuce: the Heartslabyul’s annoying kids and fatal duo who can coordinate their moves when everything gets serious

Ace: even without magic, he’s still a prankster, nothing will stop him from fooling people, and remember, there are some pranks that can really hurt~

Deuce: he has a delinquent past, and he’s trying to be better, but when things get bad, you bet he’s taking out his metal bat.

Leona: lazy? Yes. Can still kill you in less than one minute without magic because he’s a predator and he’s Leona fucking Kingscholar? Also yes.

Ruggie: another big brother who deals with children back in his home and had to survive throughout his whole childhood in the suburbs, never underestimate the feeling of being at the lowest.

Jack: 16 years and is even taller than Leona, muscles bigger than your ego and persistence to no end, there’s no way he’s losing a physical combat

Azul: please, losing his magic won’t stop him from being the cunning mafia octopus he’s

Idia: maybe he’s an otaku who doesn’t leave his room, but who said he didn’t know how to hack other people’s computers?

Ortho: your social life and public image are already in danger once you entered their territory

Idia and Ortho: if they’re dangerous on their own, imagine how fast your dignity would disappear once they get rid of you.

Sebek: try it, but you won’t escape his yelling and love for his liege

Silver: he still has that prince aura, because he’s one, so don’t get surprised if a deer tackles you down, some birds aim at you and squirrels start throwing you acorns.

Sebek and Silver: future guards of the future king of Valley Thorns, personally trained one of the most victorious generals in the history, one of them can actually use their wand as sword and the other one is very eager to show his strength to someone dear to him, so there's almost no chance in winning against these two

Lilia: do I even need to explain? This cute little man went to WAR, he’s the one who tells you: oh, those times, they were good times. He knows better than no one how to fight without magic and he’s the one who trained the previous two, if the students are strong, imagine the teacher.

Malleus: no magic? Ok, he’ll use his tail then, there is a reason why he didn’t let Yuu/us touch it after all, it will be an hilarious thing to see, but it’ll also hurt a lot, wait, nah, it won’t hurt, you will be in the afterlife before you can even feel him coming.

1st year gang: brains, strength, courage, knowledge, discipline, determination, ability, and shouts that can make you go deaf, darling, you’re dead.

I just realized this, but every single one of them can run in heels, some of them are shown and everything while others no, but this is an EAH x TW, of course they all can run in high heels, because they slay (✨💅🏻✨) and they also slay (🩸🗡)

So I already answered it over here, but I have two more for her!

The first one is either 'Eden's Apple' or 'Arcadian Apple' (I'm not really sure which one to go with yet whoops). It's only really used in the Celestial Realm and the seraphs were the only ones that referred to Marchosias that way, though Lucifer and Simeon have put a conscious effort into not calling her that anymore. Raphael meanwhile is the only seraph that does not call her that at all

Also, we started calling her Mazey-baby in my friend group recently so uuhhh, yeah I guess that's another nickname of hers now lol

That one time she and Mephisto wanted to get parfaits at their usual place and the owner rushed over to tell them they have created a new parfait in their honor. Staring at the stars for a while

One of things I associate with her is parfaits, because I one day randomly decided that she and Mephisto often get parfaits together and gossip talk about RAD News related stuff

The others are stars, because I decided pretty early on that I want her to be fascinated by the night sky which is also why star-related days have a little star on their banner over on @today-in-the-devildom >:) It's kind of ironic though. She is a wingless demon, so even when the stars shift close enough for demons to fly through them, all she can do is watch with longing in her eyes from the ground

⸺ ANGEL 09 ⸺ How close are they to falling? If they are a fallen angel, what made them fall?

Okay, this one is a little tricky to answer, because a) she didn't fall in the classic sense, and b) it requires a lot of background info about how I headcanon things to run in the Celestial Realm

But the short short version is that she was meant to be Raphael's first mission and therefore be killed by him, but he ultimately couldn't bring himself to go through with it and instead helped her escape. She obviously survived, and Raphael was able to avoid punishment

⸺ DEMON 08 ⸺ Have they given anyone their grimoire?

She tried to give it to Lucifer once shortly after the brothers fell, but Lucifer obviously refused to take it. I could explain the reason but it's....long 😭 Just know it's related to something that happened back in the Celestial Realm and she wasn't in the best headspace at the time

Anyway, Barbatos then took it to ensure she wouldn't do anything stupid with it or give it to the next best person and put herself in danger. It's been in his possession ever since and he'll continue to keep it safe until Marchosias decides she wants it back

Right now (aka in the OG timeline) she's considering giving it to my MC. But the idea of giving up so much control over herself is something she still struggles with immensely, despite knowing that my MC wouldn't ever really use it against her in the first place, so she's still debating if she should go through with it or not

Radio Killed the Video Star review

Time to see Vox and Alastor go at it then after that, see Sir Pentious interact with the Hotel staff for the first time. Spoilers as always.

I know there wouldn’t be a story if this happened, but how come Charlie is still allowing Angel Dust to work for Val when she is trying to redeem him? It’s counterproductive, so you think she would have given Angel an ultimatum. Maybe later in the series, but after seeing previous Helluva Boss episodes, soon Angel will willingly quit to actually try and redeem himself for his and more so Charlie’s sake.

So Vox is in charge of electronics. He better not be in charge of videogames as that is taken by my OC, Ratchet. But for real it would be boring if Vox owned everything electrical. I wonder if existing Overlords could lose titles for things when someone better appears? That works as I have it written down that my OC beats Vox and Val to save his friends and then becomes the Overlord of videogames in the aftermath.

I know it’s a common thing, but it is surprising when a string bean like Val has the strength to literally tear people apart.

Vox’s VA is good (glad they didn’t go for a Mark Hamill like voice, that SHOULD have been a Lucifer thing) but I’m not liking Velvette’s as I always pictured her having a youngish vlogger/influencer kind of voice. It’s also seems like this updated version of her doesn’t like Vox whereas in the pilot it seemed like she had a crush on him. Hey unlike with Stella, at least this won’t hurt the series. It’s also interesting that Velvette also has a career in fashion, adds more to her then just being a social influencer.

So Vox has the ability to hypnotize people. Interesting, and another example of how both demons and sinners can have powers not related to their profession and such. Good to know as I can see this leading to some fun ideas.

Velvette can change a person’s clothes. I had a similar fun idea about her having such an ability to do that to herself along with changing her hair instantly given her doll like appearance. For all we know, this could be canon.

Val confirmed to be the dumb one of the Vs. Hey at least that joke from the ADDICT video about him no knowing basic math seems to be canon XD.

The thing with Vox’s eye reminds me of this show called Daria, as I recall it having a character with a gag where when he got mad one of his eyes would get noticeably bigger.

Again Alastor’s voice changed while he was talking. The line about “what will the papers say” had less radio static then usual and sounded more normal. There must be a pattern, but we won’t know until we get more examples.

This was spoiled a bit for me but yeah both Al and Lilith had a time of absence of 7 years. This could mean many things like they’re working together or against each other. Only time will tell but now we got the 2ndmystery of the season, or part of the series’ grand mystery.

I’ll admit, I didn’t see the reason behind Alastor and Vox’s rivalry starting because he said no to Vox’s offer to join the V alliance. I like it.

While it is sad seeing Angel get bummed out when Charlie said she likes that Pentious is someone (to her knowledge) that is actually trying to redeem themselves, he does deserve it given all the times he’s mocked the idea and of course embarrass Charlie in the pilot. At least after hearing this, it’s possible this will be the first step to eventually make him actually care about trying to be better, if not then to make Charlie like her more than Pentious.

I said this in my Tumblr post about the Husk, Niffy, and Sir Pentious “trailer”, but we can all agree that Niffty’s crush on Pentious shouldn’t be a permanent thing due to how creepy it is.

I do hope throughout the series, we do learn how Lucifer feels about certain things, especially those that use him as a topic. I’m sure the “Devil’s Dandruff” is in the list of things he hates.

It is interesting that the artist are still using Val’s smoke (which I’m also guessing represents pheromones, though apparent some moths can make perfume to attract mates) as a symbol for Angel’s addiction.

And here comes the old trope of “people believing the new guy instead of the other character, when said other character was trying to save the day”. Wait they’re actually breaking away from a usual trope? YES! I haven’t seen that happen in Vivzie’s works in forever! Heck they did it twice in this episode if you count the twist with Al and Vox’s rivalry origins.

Even as PJ Charlie wears a suit like outfit while Vaggie’s is in a more dress like outfit. It actually reminds me of the outfit of her old design. Also is Charlie wearing high heel slippers!

Though I am a bit skeptical of Pentious’ quick change of heart, it is nice to now see Charlie have a patient that will try to be a better person. Again could this lead to a rivalry between Pentious and Angel and then one day having Angel actually wanting to try and change.

Also like I once brought up somewhere, I wonder what is going to happen when Pentious runs into Cherri when she arrives to see Angel.

Oh thank god they ended that thing with Niffty. Let’s hope it never happens again.

Hey Vox fans, here is something I bet you haven’t heard in the news, apparently the biggest radio company in the U.S. filed for bankruptcy a little over a week ago. I wonder how Al and Vox would feel about that and what that discussion would lead to!

This was a simple, but good episode. One pro of it was that we got to see and learn more about the Overlords, specifically the Vs, which makes sense considering Val and Vox's connections to the main cast. We also got to learn a bit about Overlords and how much say they have.

I think the best thing in the episode was the pretty surprising twist that Vox wanted to team up with Alastor.

The only negative is again with the ending quickly having Pentious joining the hotel. I know the story is going to be a bit rush here and there given the season only has 8 episodes, but I feel like there should have been a moment where Pentious says he really wants to be better.

Maybe during the song he says he did like Charlie’s positivity while during the exercises, and her offer of a second/real chance has made him want to try and be better, or at least enough she he won’t end up like Vox. Heck maybe he says something related to Alastor’s portion of his own song and realize that trying to stay up with trends/being popular isn’t always that great, possibly making him and Alastor get on better terms, as I can see Al hanging around with anyone just because they hate Vox.

You’re kidding, there’s no happy ending romantic wukong?

I mean there are few where he reincarnates as a human and falls in love. Those aren’t really “Wukong” but they are still Xiyouji media. And in 1960 Saiyuki he got with Rinrin… though in the 2001 version she does die sadly.

There is another more low-quality version where like Wukong knocks up Bone Demon or thinks he does and while he isn't certain the kid if his, still wants to marry her. Another movie actually did a switcharoo to let Six Ears take Wukong's place so Wukong can be human and marry his love but that also wasn't.... quality storytelling per se...

But I mean it shouldn't be too surprising. Most popular Xiyouji media is retellings or continuations so things either go back to the status quo by the end of the movie or accept that Wukong is the Victorious Fighting Buddha. Wukong isn't interested in partners in the novel and while that does give directors a lot of free reign for OCs or humanizing minor characters in the novel to be his SO, it stands to reason that Wukong isn't inherently a romantic figure. It's only recently that this change in the past 20 years that Wukong is seen in more "romance" movies and while there are some good movies that really dive into Wukong's character and humanize him, none try to take away from who Wukong is either.

I talked a bit more about it here but what I'm trying to say is that while directors do have that suspension of disbelief to allow Wukong to struggle with romance, it would be asking a lot of the audience to accept that he would just take on a spouse of any kind in a movie or tv show. Artists have the freedom to express themselves and how they interpret characters as they wish but for movies and series there is an expectation not only for profit but also for audience satisfaction. Most of these movies are about Wukong more accepting his feelings so he can let them go rather than his accepting these feelings so that he can act on them. That isn't really the point of Wukong having a 'romance', it's about exploring him as a character and seeing how these experiences affect him and thus grow from them, having him relate to the audience while still being the Wukong that people are familiar with. These genres are never JUST romance and if anything, a lot of these movies have the romance as a sub-plot for the real plot. It's rare that I see one being taken seriously as... Wukong and romance is just not something that is to be seen as 'lasting' investment for movie or tv media.

I've only seen about two dozen romance movies/shows so that is the attitude I have gotten from what I have seen but what I'm trying to say is that Wukong not getting the SO, in the end, isn't meant to be "sad," in the way that people are leaving upset, but more that they leave knowing that Wukong has experienced heartbreak, and like most audiences who might be teens to young adults, he can relate to them as well. And there are other layers of romance like self-identity, personal aspirations, or even just empathizing with another person that these genres explore. Wukong doesn't HAVE to end up with an SO in the end to be happy and a lot of these romance movies show that as the story ends on a note of hope.

So I guess that being said Wukong romance movies are not really romance movies but more just comedy/tragedy that we know how it is going to end but enjoy the ride while it lasts. Hence why more romance fans would be better off enjoying Bajie movies/shows as they do take the time and effort to establish relationships and flesh out characters more often than not. Bajie has experienced love before and has shown to never shy away from his own emotions. Rather than spending most of the movie having him deny his feelings, it does okay out as more of a romantic genre of him trying to impress or win the heart of the other. Whether successful or not is up there but he is to be seen as a more hopeless romantic that is willing to wait or work for his love as is ties closely to his character growth in the novel of him willing to work harder and be a more understanding person. Wukong is to grow as a person to look more at his own humanity and Bajie is to grow as a person to be more than he is. They are different kind of plot narratives and while both good, one is more prone to romance movies than the other.

So I can't say that they aren't any "happy" romance movies because Wukong is happy with himself at the end of most romance movies without an SO but... he doesn't get an SO often in these movies/shows.

i can go on and on about how i designed her appearance in specific but that's for another day :D just know that her blue/yellow color palette is literally a forget-me-not, and hunter's red/yellow color palette is a forget-me-not drenched in blood :D

hunter kayo's "species" is actually called a fiend (a term i just stole from csm LMAO) which is a very rare set of humans that are able to successfully be transplanted with a demonic organ. yes, yui is technically a fiend too in this case.

i have a love-hate relationship with the game don't mind <3 i still think back to these three fondly and i'll talk about their lore for a bit cause this is probably the only time they'll see the light of day.

the two sisters are inazuman-mondstadter(?) in blood, but in nationality they're both inazuman, and their visions have inazuman casing. however, maya lives in fontaine and miya lives in sumeru.

Mikoshi Maya (Wandering Princess)

players complaining about too many sweet girls? here's another one!

from the last name, maya is a descendant of mikoshi nagamasa, the human son of the oni chiyo that served the raiden shogun. that part of her backstory doesn't matter to her as much as it matters to her older sister.

maya's a spoiled and lazy child of one of richest businesswomen of fontaine, and she's also a huge hermit. but she has the power to dream of the future, and it always involves someone needing help. even though she's spoiled, she's very kind in nature, so even as a hermit she often travels to help those she finds in her dreams. she's a dancer and has a very pretty appearance so 'wandering princess' is the title she got from traveling the other nations.

ironically, her nickname in fontaine is actually the rumored hermit, from her tendencies to almost never show up. people see her so little some are convinced that she doesn't actually exist.

her future dreams come into play in an interlude quest.

Mikoshi Miya (Transient Swordsman)

mommy. her name's miya bc i wanted it to match with maya

on the surface, she's a kshahrewar graduate who specializes in mechanics, and she specifically works on machines that can bridge the gap between vision holders and non-vision holders. she's pretty relaxed and sisterly, but at first she seems almost drawn in on herself.

in her past, she was trained as a swordsman by her father, a mikoshi himself. she was considered the greatest prodigy for her time, and she was 'destined for great things'. this was for a specific job that would need way too long to explain but related to this job is the fact that they're a bit of a problem for the fatui. this, and her mother's relationship to the fatui, culminated in someone attempting to subdue her mother with a very special fire made from delusions. however, they mistimed the mission, and instead caught a young miya and her father in the crossfire, which lead to her father's death and miya's hatred for the fatui and for visions.

no matter how much people told her that she was a once in a lifetime swordsman, and how her skill was almost completely unmatched, miya gave up swordsmanship. her skill never saved her father.

miya is intelligent, and always liked making gadgets (her first creation was a mechanical train set at the age of seven), so she instead focused her efforts on helping non-vision holders, including herself, by studying at the akademiya.

miya only gets her electro vision in her story quest, where she confronts her father's killer. she also decides to take up a sword again because of the quest :D

Irina (Witch of Thorns)

mother. that's my name yes but it kind of fits her. i go by yna anyway so i don't really see myself in her JFKJFSD if miya's past seems like a lot this woman has a whole document just about her lore......

to summarize, she's actually gold/rhinedottir's "accidental" creation, something too long to talk about but trust me on this. she's her first child in that regard, and rhine actually tried to raise her like a regular daughter.

they got separated in the cataclysm and irina ended up in mondstadt, which lead to her considering herself a mondstadter. fatui shenanigans happen with dottore and she changes her original appearance to become the witch of thorns, a witch specializing in an artificial flower with medicinal properties. she changes appearances every other decade and pretends she's the daughter of the last witch of thorns, all the way to the present.

miya and maya are her very real daughters though. maya resembles her true appearance more, while miya resembles how she was when she was younger.

(i also have two men who work under irina, yuuya and a runaway adeptus but their lore is like wayyy shorter than the three and these gi ocs are already taking up way too much of the post...)

while all demons are descendants of lilith, there is one uninterrupted line of daughters that are genetically clones of lilith herself. while their appearances do have variation, they all one defining trait: pure white hair. in my lore, white hair is a trait impossible to have if you're a pure founder. the only founders to naturally have this hair color are these clones, who are called lilith's avatars. makes you wonder how carla has white hair, though not purely white. doesn't that make him special?

there can only be one avatar born from a previous one in every generation, and any other child ends up as a regular founder. back then, this line of daughters were the royal family of the founder clan, then known as the lunar kingdom when all kingdoms were comprised of founders rather than the subspecies that arose from evolution.

they were overthrown in an event known as the fall of lunacy, a coup d'état arranged by the final queen, scylla's adviser. despite being overthrown, their connection to lilith and scylla's own sacrifices continued to keep them in an important noble position. their estate is located the closest to lilith's tomb, lilith's resting place, a garden of forget-me-nots the size of a town.

another special trait of the avatars is the ability to control and summon butterfly familiars, all with a unique appearance. they can also take up the butterfly's form.

all avatars are assigned epithets at one point in their lives. in their time as royal family, they were usually assigned their titles post-mortem, but afterwards their epithets tend to be assigned some time within their lives.

in order of appearance and birth.

Lilith ; Queen of the Night ; Lilith herself wasn't technically part of the Lunar Clan, as it only began upon the establishment of the Lunar Kingdom, long after her supposed death. Still, she was given the epithet due to her reign on Old Eden, characterized by her absolute control over all territories, like the all-encompassing embrace of night.

Queen Nyx ; Lunacy's Founder, the founder of the Lunar Kingdom and the first to take on the last name Lune. Lilith's eldest.

Queen Raikou ; The Silent Queen, the longest-reigning queen, second to only Lilith herself, ruling for 700 years compared to an average of 100 years. Her rule was characterized by its stability, though quickly overturned when the event known as the War of the Fallen occurred.

Queen Scylla ; The Children's Princess, the shortest-reigning queen, Raikou's daughter, and the final ruler of the Lunatic Dynasty. Becoming queen at a young age after her mother's death, she followed her adviser's ill-meaning advice due to the widespread famine in neighboring kingdoms, earning the peoples' ire and contributing to the successful coup d'état. That adviser's family became the reigning royal family up until Giesbach.

Zarya and Krone Lune ; The Dawn and the Dusk, a pair of identical twins. They are the first and only case of two avatars being born in one generation. Due to magic being the focus of the Demon World, Zarya's interest in medicine and biology was seen as a disgrace, especially compared to her twin sister, who excelled in magic and swordsmanship. Zarya was later exiled from the kingdom, though was reluctantly brought back upon the beginning of the spread of Endzeit. She managed to quell the disease's spread all the way until her disappearance, just before the War of Prophecy occurred, which trapped all Founders within the Pandemonium and allowed Endzeit to spread rampantly.

Cecilia Lune ; The Spring Bloom ; Zarya's daughter, the end to the line of avatars. Founders' eyes don't reflect light, and merely glow. Cecilia's eyes sparkled like stars. Hated, then loved by the people, who grieved her death for centuries.

She was known as the human among demons.

extra fact: the divider icon is the lunar clan's family emblem:3 it used to represent the lunar kingdom as a whole, but upon the fall of the dynasty it became associated with the former royal family instead.

OC: Cutter Gallows

This is an explanatory writeup of one of my Original Characters (OCs). Nothing here is necessarily related to a meaningful fiction you should recognise and is shared because I think my OCs are cool and it’s cool to talk about OCs you make.

“I can’t help it. I just hate my job.”

Cutter Gallows is a terrible Wolf Spider. He barely carries his gun with him, skives off work, ignores reports, does paperwork only as an act of frustration, doesn’t respect any of his supposed superiors, and doesn’t even die like a good piece of cannon fodder should. Despite numerous attempts to get him killed on assignment, the Worst Wolf grouches his way through life and makes most of his money by taking jobs on the side.

Those jobs are the assassination jobs, where he turns out to be very, very bad at what Wolf Spiders do – suck and die.

Most of the time if you’ve interacted with Cutter Gallows — also known as ‘Operative Gallows’ — it’s in his Wolf Spider uniform, which is to say, as another cog in the great Arachnos machine, carrying a Wolf Spider rifle on his back and a stolen mace underneath it. None of what he does shows up on searches for Super-tech or Super-Science, and he’s definitely not magical. As a member of Arachnos, most of his ‘powers have been granted through the use of devices and training, including his firearms skill and stealth training. Gallows was considered a Bane Spider trainee, which meant he was slightly psychically active. Contacting him psychically through established channels (trying to converse) is very easy over a long range, while attempting to attack his mind or influence his behaviour is almost impossible. This might be connected to his dysfunctional personality.

Gallows is trained with a variety of Wolf Spider combat techniques and devices; he’s authorized for the use of stealth tech, firearms and other ordinance. He’s got a mace, currently on order until his Bane Spider clearance goes through, which, by observation, isn’t going to be any time soon, the device making its way through the inner workings of the beaurocracy.

For non-employee based skills, as in, skills he’s developed despite his training, Gallows has a truly ridiculous gift to counterforensics. Arachnos have three different sets of fingerprints on file for him and in any of the areas where he’s been deployed, he’s never left behind any DNA samples, not even errant hairs. There was a time when Gallows was inseparable from a haunted suit of armour that ate people known as the Steel Oni, and as its handler, he was technically considered part of a two-man unit designed to be deployed into dangerous environs. Mostly Gallows was there to take care of the Oni in case it gets out of control, but in the frame of ‘first piece of food to slow the demon down,’ rather than ‘a person with expertise to contain or control it.’

If you have interacted with Gallows in any kind of heroing context, then, chances are it’s been encountering Wolf Spiders, watching as all but one of them fall apart, and then the remaining guy goes on to either ruin your day. He isn’t invested in mission objectives, but he is spiteful and he is extremely hard to emotionally engage, which means he’ll hassle heroes until he’s bored and then disappear. Gallows doesn’t pick fights he can’t get something out of, he doesn’t care about Arachnos’ aims, and he can’t be motivated by ‘success.’

Mechanics

As a Bane Spider, Gallows is a defense-focused team support character. He moves around in stealth, and gets a large bonus to damage when he attacks from stealth, giving him a strong alpha strike capacity, with reliable wide coverage on his two area attacks.

Also, defensively, he’s stupid.

I mean it, Bane Spiders are stupid.

Gallows has:

45+% defense to Melee, Ranged, and AoE attacks.

32% defense to toxic and psionic

40+% to all other types of damage

50% bonus damage

But that’s not all, because Gallows is giving out 15% of that defense to everyone else, and 30% damage buff, all the time. As long as Gallows is near anyone, they are doing better, and what makes that significant is that he doesn’t have to do anything or keep on top of powers to maintain this effect. As long as he’s fighting, everyone around him is fighting better.

He has two pet summons, a big Blaster robot or a pair of smaller robots, Disruptors with a 50 second downtime. They benefit from his damage buff, which is nice, but whatever.

Thing is, if you’re at all interested in making a build like this, Gallows is a cheap build. He’s walking around with a bunch of incomplete and underlevelled sets, with the only real expensive piece he has in his build being the Dominion of Arachnos set. This is not a super powerful, super expensive, fancy build designed to push the build to its limits. It got these numbers as what I consider ‘walking around’ numbers!

History

In 2008, City of Heroes introduced a new mechanic, called a level pact. A level pact was a way that two players could bind their characters together, starting at level 5, and then whenever one got XP, both of them split the XP, whether they were online or not. The result was as Smurphy said, ‘I’m going to have a lot more level 50 brutes,’ as the tool was used to level up a bunch of weird builds with things like level trading.

It was a neat mechanic and I honestly like it, but its effect isn’t great, especially when you know how fast levelling could get in that game. It was a mechanic more for feeling good about level gaps and ironically, letting someone experience more of the levelling content in the game. I used it for a bunch of characters with Fox, Pendix, and HR (that I all got to 50 on my own, because I played much more aggressively and urgently than anyone else I knew).

Then the game shut down.

Gallows was a character I really loved. I wrote about him extensively, because, the heart of what he was was a Supervillain Organisation’s Dilbert. It was very important to me to never come up with a meaningful explanation for why Gallows was the way he was, or if he was that way because of something it had to be something mundane, something anyone could experience (like familial abuse) without it being an immense outlier. A product of his environment, in the truest sense in a superhero universe.

Imagine for a moment that you’re an enormously gifted young man, with a talent that everyone can laud around you. Imagine that your family recognise it, but can’t afford to give you the education and the opportunities to leverage this skill. Then imagine that one day, you’re given an amazing chance, a scholarship or an exultation, a way to use your gift, and never having to worry about your lack of money ��� heck, they’ll pay your family!

Sounds good, until you realise this mysterious benefactor is Arachnos, and part of your family getting paid enough to live and a house that’s not in the gutter is your joining an inefficient, cludgy job with a high employee attrition rate, and they only want you as a warm body, your gift meaningless compared to your merits as a pencil-pushing order-barking bit of cannon fodder, shackled to a walking, whirling wall of knives and madness that really would like nothing more than an opportunity to flense you.

It’d make you bitter, right?

First and foremost, Gallows is an employee of Arachnos, a member of the army-slash-police front fascist organisation. From the inside, however, he ventures that the common opinion of Arachnos as an eternally powerful, brooding organisation of super-science and megalethal armed forces is nothing more than propoganda. Everyone in the organisation who rises to any decent position is in some way quite twisted and insane. He points to Lord Recluse’s eternally looping announcement over the Grandville speaker system as an example: the man openly refers to his opponents as ‘heroes’.

With the close of the setting at first, Gallows just went away. I tried to roleplay him in other venues, as a person finally free of Arachnos, but it didn’t work. Other players just wanted him as a generic bad boy and the bitter, dark resentment coupled with the terrifying competence never had anything to reflect.

Ultimately, Dilbert needs his boss, or he’s just some smug guy.

Facts about my Time Looper OC referenced in my last reblog

He does, in fact, have a name, but I've changed it so many times I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to keep this one.

Originally made for an unposted Twisted Wonderland fanfic idea (currently has massive disorganized notes) but has a 526-word long list of notes for an AU where he's dropped into Purrfect Apawcalypse.

Original concept was "bad-boy, anti-Disney" character before I went ahead to make him nearly the Exact Opposite of the Canon Generic TWST MC, complete with food and fur allergies to make him plain incompatible with most of the canon characters. Most of his physical appearance was decided by googling the most uncommon features in the world, just so he can't be an everyman protagonist. He's got pointy ears and sectoral heterochromia. Red hair is curly because none of the canon characters have Type 3 hair. He is pretty pissed that most of the timelines where he Stops Situations from Happening are the ones that get dropped (like that time he picked expulsion over risking his life, or the time he convinced Adeuce not to sign the contracts). The geniuses don't get his motivations because the "canon" choices he makes rarely match up with his personality outside the loops.

The AU I'm talking about is an Alternate Isekai where he gets transmigrated into canon fodder in Purrfect Apawcalypse. He spends the first few loops fucking dying before he eventually figures out how to survive in his new body. A percentage of the loops he sides against the Grimalkins, another percentage he helps them kill Patches. There's a reveal that the stuff he was smoking during his "taking a break" loops (which he thought was weed) was actually catnip that made some of the cat demons more docile around him. He mentally in a worst place than his TWST self because none of the others will remember his friendship building timelines - especially when befriending certain characters (specifically Patches or the Grimalkins) will lock away his chances with others. The conditions to end the loop are "Olive befriends all canon characters except Patches" and "Everyone Survives (with Angel possessing Patches's body)" - but OC has no way of knowing them because he didn't play the game. At some point he finds out keeping Olive alive will make the loop last longer, but it'll reset as soon as any survivors the building.

He will probably never be released to the public as a POV character because all the plot ideas related to him are super complicated. Time loop fics are either written as A) comedies (maybe with dark implications) showing single events in each loop, or B) serious shit with detailed stuff involving feelings and actions. All his storylines involve B, with small butterfly-effect details that affect his friendships and success chances every loop. His TWST plotline (which I've been working on since 2022) is also really fucking long, spanning across 4 playthroughs (with the first one having like 10+ loops per chapter) with many other OCs. This guy would be a huge project and I've got too much IRL stuff to do.

Devil May Cry OC Week Day 2!

For day two of @dmc-oc-week I thought I'd talk about his relationship with the cast!

I don't really have any pictures or anything for this specific day, and I'm making it at the end of the day due to inconveniences that came up via phone voice to speech, so I hope this is okay!

In regards to Sirrus's connection to the rest of the cast, he just sort of shows up one night at like 4 am after a serious attack by a really powerful demon because he was sent there by his employers (which is barely the reason he came since they can't really make him do much of anything. He only really does anything for them because he's bored and likes to have something to do, but he's way too powerful for them to think they can actually order around.) And at the behest of one of his relatives who is a friend of Vergil's In the fic I'm writing. I almost included her and her niece in this week, but I can include another time, and it would have been too much to juggle because they're actually probably about equally complex in regards to backstory.

Essentially, he was sent there to adjudicate a situation on behalf of another group that he doesn't name. He kind of dresses like the adjudicator from John wick 3, except by the fact that he's all business for the most part, he's a lot more cordial and pleasant to be around. He isn't afraid to throw his weight around, but not in regards to his lineage or job status. He considers that an abusive of power. But what he isn't going to do is let you harm or bother him or anyone he cares about. Something tells me that if someone said something rude to V he'd probably throw them through a wall.

His job is to help bring the region back under control after the Redgrave City incident. The amount of unchecked demonic activity going on in the area concerns other parties that are worried something more serious may be going on, and although they are aware that there are other people who are attempting to handle the situation, they feel the need to send in additional support to be sure.

He initially shows up just for this as he doesn't know more than one or two people in the town, but he stays and comes back frequently because he actually enjoys his time with the rest of the group. This is unusual for him because he's generally a brooding loner who doesn't really like to be around other people because they just kind of get on his nerves and cause him more trouble than they're worth in the long run (MOOD). But he actually feels some level of kinship with the rest of the team, especially V and Nero who he feels he can relate to on some level. Since he has a terrible relationship with his father, he finds the relationship between Nero and V and Vergil fascinating in the fic. If Vergil asked, he'd probably be willing to give him advice on how to best relate to and deal with these kinds of situations with his kids (V and Nero are brothers in this AU) But he's the last person who thinks he has the answers to everything. Perhaps the insight to handle a lot of things, but not the answers.

V specifically is a large part of why he returns after leaving for about 2 weeks to do something important. The two of them had an unfortunate run in with an extremely powerful demon, and V saved him after he told him to leave so that he could hold him off long enough for him to escape. Realizing in that moment that he'd actually met someone who cared enough about him to risk dying to save him, he decided that he'd stick around and see if there was anything he could do to improve his life. He has nothing better to do, after all, and helping out V gives him some sort of purpose. At first it's because he feels honor bound, but it's more so now that he just genuinely cares about what's going on in his friend's life and feels like V needs someone to be there for him since he never really had that himself.

As it currently stands in the fic that he comes from, he and V have just sort of realized that they becoming friends, and he's got information to give them that he just found out from a source in regards to some important events that are going on in the story. Thankfully, he has a plan that may be able to help them out. But when he was originally given his assignment, he never thought he would get this personally invested in a group of strangers. But at this point, he can't really see himself not working with them. They've come to mean quite a bit to him, and he feels accepted and comfortable around them. That's very rare for him. In fact, it's probably never happened before. After all, if everyone is weird, then was the point of feeling like an outcast?

Summoning Circles: What to Offer the Brothers GN!MC

MC doesn’t need to set up anything to summon them since they have their pact but sometimes its just nice to add a bit of drama. It’s also a good way to get the brothers to accept Just Because gifts. So what would would MC lay out as an offering for their favorite demon in their pentagram?

Lucifer

Lucifer is hard to get gifts for because hes a man of few words and fewer guilty pleasures

MC does their best to keep an eye out for things he does like and finally sets things up when they feel that Luci needs a bit of a break

They mostly offer things that would make for a good date night but with one small exception: special gourmet dog treats 

He won’t admit it, he says Cerberus is just a well trained guard dog, but that big boy gets only the best and MC knows that Lucifer will appreciate the gesture

The rest is all about setting the mood so Lucifer couldn’t possibly say no to staying

The first thing to accomplish this is the finest bottle of hellfire aged wine, a special request put through to Diavolo for whatever he thought Lucifer would like most

And to accompany a good drink you need some good food as well. A charcuterie board supplied with recommendations from Barbatos and Luke. The little guy should be called a mouse rather than a dog with how much he loves cheese. It took a long time for him to stop talking about it

One of the things that MC looks most fondly on of their time with Lucifer was quiet nights in listening and dancing to new music. They didn’t always share the same tastes but they were always willing to give it a go

So MC would find a vinyl, the only thing Lucifer would listen to the purest that he is, of their most recent favorite song or band so that they could share it with him

The last thing offered is that which Lucifer would want above all else as his own, MC

They can think of nothing else that would gain Lucifer’s attention more than offering their full and complete self. His pride could never allow him to deny taking MC when they offer themselves so willingly

He appears in full demon form, he can’t think of who would be ballsy enough to try and summon him and he has to pull back on his full power once he sees its MC

“MC, my dearest love, the pageantry is appreciated but overall unneeded. All you ever have to do is call my name, all I wish is to hear my name on your lips. But now that I’m here lets make sure you are screaming it”

Mammon

He is another one who is hard to gift things to but for the opposite reason as Lucifer. He likes too many things, wants everything and so it makes it impossible to tell what would actually mean something to him

MC tries their best to lay out things that will show how much they love and appreciate their favorite demon

Money of course is the first thing that is set out but not just spare Grimm or human cash

No, MC will put gift cards out for Mammon’s favorite places or for a date that they can have together. It feels more personal that way and they hope it shows that they pay attention to the things he likes

Mammon has a wardrobe to rival Asmo’s but he insists that it all has to do with his job as a model. Gotta keep up appearances and all that yanno. Hes just a label whore though and everyone knows it

He also just melts at the idea that MC might be thinking of what he would look good in so if they put out a new outfit or accessory, even if its just new sunglasses or a belt, he just about explodes

He will scoff and say that hes not sure if human styles are really his thing but of course puts whatever it is on quickly

Next would be a very special edition of the TSL dvds, a directors cut that even Levi couldn’t get his hands on. He has watched it with MC so many times he could practically recite it but they were always borrowing from Levi so it was about time to start wearing out their own copy

The last two things are more personal, something that shows just how much MC thinks of and misses being with him

The first of that is MC’s favorite set of pictures they took with Mammon, a silly photo booth strip that captured their first kiss. MC had surprised him on the first snapshot and it showed a progression of him getting redder and redder before finally kissing them back

Lastly is a page from their diary, as intimate an offering as they can possibly give. Its from a day where the longing for Mammon was at its strongest and filled with sweet words of how much they miss their first man

Mammon is freaked out at first thinking he is being summoned by another witch and is confused to see MC before taking it all in

“H-hey you don’t have to go through all this. I mean of course The Great Mammon won’t say no to the the things he deserves but ... b-but you only ever need to say my name, there is no where I’d rather be than with you”

Levi

Levi has a bad habit of just buying whatever he wants but considering that he has so many fandom’s its not hard to find some piece or another he doesn’t have 

MC feels like his brothers don’t give much thought to his gifts though, just typing in a name they know and getting whatever they find. They want to give him something more personal and can’t just be bought and shipped in two days

MC starts to watch a lot of craft, cooking and cosplay YouTubers to try and put everything together themselves. It felt more genuine that way at least to them

MC tries to keep things diverse, hitting a couple of Levi’s favorites but mostly avoiding anything Ruri related since they are afraid of messing it up lmao

Instead they focus on the anime’s and games that they watched and played together. Almost like a collection of inside jokes that they are using to summon him

The first thing MC sets out is a prettily decorated plate of macrons, doing their best to replicate the colors and flavors described in the one bakery time management game they always played

MC also went through Levi’s super secret fanfiction accounts I will fight you he is totally a fic writer because he has so many self inserts and fix it fics  and wrote out comments for every single thing he had written. They printed them out not because they didn’t think he read them but to show that they were the ones that left them

Along with the comments MC also created art for Levi’s most beloved OC, creating cute enamel pins of them in chibi form with the cannon character he paired them with

 The last two things came as a sort of combo, a couples cosplay from the romance anime they had watched together. The protagonist had been a shut in otaku who had found his soulmate when they were reborn into his world and Levi had latched onto him immediately 

It had taken a lot of blood sweat and tears trying to get both of the outfits cannon perfect but damn it MC was not going to settle for anything less

At one point they forgot they were making it for Levi and just got caught up in the the drama that was finding the perfect buttons and trim color

Overall they were so proud of the sewing skills they just wanted to call on him the moment they were done so he could see but they got a hold of themselves so they could set up what they had planned

Levi was summoned into the circle still wearing his headset and fingers tapping at a controller that had been left behind

His demon side comes out at having been cost a serious match from the sounds of it but his anger turns to confusion at seeing MC and then into wide eyed amazement at all of the things in front of him

He started to gush about every single thing he saw before he realized that MC was there beaming at him 

“You went through all this trouble to prove that you aren’t a normie and yet you summon me this way?? J-just say my name like you’re supposed to! I kind of like hearing you say it anyway ...”

Satan

Satan surprisingly doesn’t like being the center of attention and thus doesn’t really like surprises or receiving gifts. He also doubts that anyone understands him enough to give him what he wants cocky ass that he is

The idea for the things to set out in his summoning circle came to MC when discussing love potions with Satan and Solomon one day. They were talking about how smell plays such a strong part and Satan let slip some of the things he might smell after MC listed some of theirs

So while MC doesn’t have much, well any, experience in magic or potions they do want to try to stir up those feelings those smells produce in Satan

The first thing he had said came as a surprise to no one, the smell of parchment and ink

MC used each of them as their own separate offering on the pentagram. They used a fancy new calligraphy quill dipped in green ink that matched his eyes to write a long love note for him

The ink was still wet on the parchment that they set down and left the quill and remaining ink as the second gift

The next thing he mentioned was another one MC expected: tea leaves

So MC just walked into their local tea shop and let their nose lead the way. Anything that caught their attention or made them want to keep smelling they bought, creating their own special blend just for Satan

It wasn’t necessarily something that Satan would say for himself but MC had started to burn different candles in their room when he would come to rant when he was angry, trying to find a scent that he could associate with being calm when they helped him work through the anger

Whatever candle seemed to work the best is the candle that MC sets out for him. Probably something woodsy, pine or balsam or even sandalwood. It brings back good memories for MC, kissing all those worries of his away and hopes it does the same

The last item is one that made MC blush when they heard Satan admit it, he had liked the scent of their shampoo

He hadn’t said that specifically but he had closed his eyes and described a scent that he couldnt place but that he adored and when MC was taking their shower that night it clicked 

It might have been a little lame, leaving a bottle of shampoo out for Satan but MC knew that when he realized what that scent he loved so much was that he would get the cutest blush

They weren’t disappointed when they summoned Satan. He hid his shock of being summoned this way well, taking his time to walk around the circle and examine each offering. He immediately knew where they had gotten the inspiration and teased them about being such a sap

He stopped when he got to the shampoo though, not sure how that fit into the equation until he smelled it. It dawned on him and there was that blush that he tried to hide by turning his face away

“You always did like to make things difficult on yourself didn’t you? I’m only ever a call away for you kitten. Now come here and let me really breath you in, you’re simply intoxicating to me and I can’t stay away.”

Asmo

Asmo is never shy about when he doesn’t like gifts that people have given him but he has only ever cherished what MC has gotten him. Every small trinket and gift he has on full display in his room and he will wear something that MC got them when he misses them the most

He also will do it when he wants to bother his brothers and show off that MC simply lavished him in gifts (Mammon and Levi are the only ones who fall for it lmao)

So MC decides to offer Asmo things that will allow him to parade around their love for him, things to keep them close when MC isn’t there

The first thing that MC gets Asmo is new nail polish, a color that they agonized over finding because they wanted it to match his eyes perfectly

Asmo has a very organized planner, its how he keeps track of all the events he is invited to, when he has dates, who hes slept with, who hes going to sleep with and everything in between

MC commissions custom made stickers for him so he can decorate the pages of his planner even more. Specifically a whole sheet of cute stickers of them together he could use for when they planned date nights

The next thing was something for Asmo’s room which he was always changing and refreshing so it looked forever interesting for Devilgram pics

MC gets a large print of Asmo’s favorite picture of them together and puts it in a beautiful frame that perfectly matched his favorite decorating style. Perfect to show to the world that Asmo was their favorite demon and that they looked so good together

And so they can take even more pictures of themselves together MC buys a Polaroid camera for Asmo. His phone will always be his favorite thing to take pics on but this way they could have them printed instantly and it continues to let him be trendy

Lastly MC gets Asmo a necklace. A dainty rose gold chain that he can wear with practically everything and with a diamond accented heart shaped locket that could easily be tucked away if needed. It was an enchanted locket, thanks to the help of Solomon, and it warmed when MC was thinking of him

Its the first thing Asmo grabs and quickly puts on, showing it off for MC

“Oh MC you are simply the cutest thing I have ever seen~ I’m sorry I don’t have something to give you in return. I hope the fact that my heart beats only for you will make up for it, now come here I’ve been without kisses too long.”

Beel

Its SO hard not to just grab whatever is in the kitchen at the time and throw it in the summoning circle and call it a day for Beel

But he is more than just his hunger and MC is always striving to show him that they understand that 

It was harder than expected, just because asking anyone what Beel might want always got them food answers. They thought Belphie might be helpful but only got told “he probably just wants a nap ... its what I would want”

MC starts to think of all the most special moments they had with Beel, trying to think what about them made them so memorable and they knew for a fact that it wasn’t the food

The first thing they come up with is a banner that MC made to cheer him on at one of his games. It had gotten a little tattered and torn because it had rained that day but they just couldn’t let it go

Mostly because Beel after winning had ran up into the stands and kissed them for the first time. It wasn’t as if they hadn’t ever kissed but they had always been the one to make the first move but this time Beel had come to them. Of course in the biggest gesture possible

It was cheating a little bit offering a cookbook, it was still food related, but it felt better than putting in actual food 

This particular cookbook was special to MC too, they had spent several months trying to recreate one of the recipes from it down in the Devildom when MC didn’t have it. Even their D.D.D had been no help in finding the human world dish they were trying so hard to recreate

It had finally been Beel who had found someplace that sold the food they had been craving. He had even been able to bring it back completely untouched just so that they could have it all though he didn’t complain when they offered him several bites from their fork

MC pulls the next thing from their own shelves at home, a well read copy of Lord of the Flies. The spine cracked and little notes about their favorite parts scribbled in the margin

It was one of the human novels that Satan had and one of MCs favorites from school. Beel had caught them reading it and thought the title was ironic but the more he watched MC get engrossed in reading the more curious he got

He eventually asked MC to read it to him, he actually liked books even if most didn’t take him for the type it was just that he had a hard time actually reading himself. He always got distracted by food but audio books always worked well for him when he was working out, it turned out to be even better when MC read to him when he was eating

It was the best of both worlds for him and he found the story actually pretty funny, slightly worrying MC but they figured they couldn’t blame a demon for getting enjoyment out of a story like that. He did find their lack of food concerning though so at least there was that

One of the things that Beel often complained about when MC was living in the devildom was that when he went to go eat they weren’t always there. Sure Beel would ask them to tag along whenever possible but it didn’t always happen. He would call them from the kitchen at times and tell them that he missed them

MC was sure the other brothers would have something to say about it but knew that Beel would genuinely enjoy the next thing MC offered. Amagnet with his favorite picture of them. It was MC caught in a candid he took, mid bite in a dessert he had made them and his hand could just be seen wiping some whipped cream off MC’s cheek

It was a way that Beel could have MC with him at his favorite place every time

The last thing that MC laid out was something that was inspired by Beel. He had once given them a coupon for a free meal by him and they had thought it was just about the cutest thing ever

They made him a whole coupon book of favors ranging from cooking any meal he wanted to recording his workouts for him and of course lots of coupons for hugs and kisses

Beel isn’t used to being summoned at all so hes slightly disoriented when he finds himself suddenly in the human world. As soon as he sees MC though its nothing but smiles and he doesn’t even notice the gifts until after

“MC did you know I was thinking about you? Sometimes I just say your name and hope you will appear ... so if you ever think of me just say my name. I want to be here, even if its during dinner” 

Belphie

Belphie is not one to beat around the bush at all. He is a creature of habit and just wants more of the same things that he already has. Dont fix something if its not broke right?

So its fairly easy to fill his summoning circle with things that he loves, just adding to his ever growing collection of happy nap time things

That isn’t to say that MC just grabs whatever blanket or pillows they have laying around, they still want it to be special for him

So yes the first two things they offer to Belphie is a pillow and blanket, there was never going to be anything else but MC spent a long time putting their love into finding just the right ones for him ... and still couldn’t find what they wanted

MC used this as an excuse to create something themselves for their sleepy boy. They dived deep into youtube and pintrest and spent more money than they care to admit on materials until finally they made what they wanted

The first was a quilt large enough for three cause the twins like to make MC a sandwich in a cow print pattern that matched his pillow and demon form marks, lined with the softest fabric she could find that was the same purple as his eyes 

His pillow was another quilted design, this time of a cloudy night sky with a sleepy cow jumping over the moon. MC stitched his name in pretty gold thread on the back long with a sweet ‘I love you’

There was one last fluffy thing to give to him, this one MC knew he would probably scoff and tease them about but they couldn’t help it. They saw the angry looking cow plushie and just could not walk away 

They have actually been sleeping with it when they miss him most and even if he doesn’t like the plushie the fact they have slept with it so much will make him a bit fonder of it

Even though they were pretty sure that Belphie knew every star in the sky MC couldn’t help but get a book with stories about the constellations. He might already know them all but they thought that he might still enjoy hearing them read to him as he drifted to sleep

The last thing MC has to offer him is also star related. A star map of the day that they made their pact. It was the day that MC had fully forgiven everything that had happened before and their relationship had truly began

When Belphie was summoned he was half asleep but knew who it must be even in his sluggish state. He gave a big yawn and looked around at all the things around him 

“At least things are already set up for the perfect nap, including having you. MC next time just say my name alright? Its much more of a drag this way ... and I want to know when you are dreaming of me”

Life quickly settles into a routine. Not much has really changed. You still have to commute to and from the cabin, though now it's to the town twice a month. You still go out exploring with Zunair, though now with stolen kisses and fond touches. Little changes. Little improvements.

Late in the summer, you receive a letter from Sophelle saying the town council wishes to talk with you. It figures they would do check ins. You dress in your cleric finery and head for the meeting.

"For someone who sought the domain of clerics, we find it curious and questionable to learn you're colluding with a demon," Lusca, the head of the council, accuses.

Your blood turns cold.

"Learning there's a demon living so close is concerning enough," another member adds, half under their breath.

How did they find out about Zunair? The two of you have been so careful. Did you two slip up at some point?

Or have they been intently spying on you?

Lusca narrows his eyes, a smirk ghosting his expression just enough for you to know you're not going to enjoy the next words to come out of his mouth. "What is your relation to this demon?"

It feels like you're surrounded by a pack of hungry wolves. You must choose your words carefully. Feigning ignorance likely wouldn't go well, so you have to play with the truth. "I ran into him this past autumn. Since then, whenever I go out in the woods, he often shows up."

"Do you not realize how dangerous demons can be?" There is a leading lilt in Lusca's tone. He's trying to entrap you.

"I don't know much about demons," you honestly answer. "But he hasn't presented any threat—not to my perceptions, at least. He seems more curious and lonely than lethal."

The council exchanges glances and whispers. They feel more threatening than Zunair ever has. Your are warring between dread and outrage. What are they going to do to you, to Zunair? You wonder if they will even let you go free after this meeting.

Lusca continues. "Regardless of your personal views on the matter, we cannot idly allow such a risk to remain unchecked. Will you cooperate?"

It is a threat more than it is a question. The weight it leaves you with... the first bargain you made with Zunair didn't feel as oppressive as this. Great caution is needed here. "How do you need me to cooperate?"

His raises a single, judgemental brow. "However we see fit."

Perfect...

You swallow the lump in your throat as you craft your way into this Devil Deal. "Alright. I'll cooperate to the best of my ability," you say as you bow at the waist, not wanting to meet their gazes as much as you don't want them to see trickery in yours. You do not have the ability to intentionally hurt or endanger Zunair. And you're banking on them not knowing how deep your connection with him runs.

They release you from the meeting after affirming that they'll be in touch. You want to scream. Things were really great; why did it all need to be ruined by this? Now to break this news to Zunair.

You stop in your tracks. He's been home alone all this time. And they know.

Worry overtakes you and you start sprinting home. If they played a fowl trick and hurt Zunair while you were away you'll... well, you don't know what you could do against the council, but you'd figure out a way to get back at them.

Despite running, the journey home seems to take far longer than normal. The rational side of you knows that it's just your fears warping your perception, but that doesn't make it less stressing. You need to see Zunair. You need to know he's safe.

Your cabin comes into view. The door is ever so slightly ajar. Your chest tightens. No...

You burst inside. Nothing looks put of place. "Zunair?" you frantically call. No answer. You curse and run your hands through your hair, holding your head as you try to sort out what to do.

"What's wrong?" Zunair asks behind you.

You whip around and see him standing there holding an armful of firewood, looking confused but unharmed. All the tension built up in you floods out and you collapse to your knees then your rear. Zunair immediately drops the wood to the side and crouches down in front of you.

"What happened?"

It's not until you speak up that you notice you're crying, the tears starting to choke your voice. "They know... They know."

These two simple words are all you can say. But they're enough.  The cold clarity hardens Zunair's expression as you repeat them. He pulls you against his chest. His heart is thundering just as much as yours.

You both know that there is much to discuss, but for now, you just need each other. He closes the door and carries you to the couch. There, the two of you curl up. Your silence is comforting; your closeness takes the edge off the situation. If only you could stay here in this sweet moment where the world doesn't matter.

"What do you think we should do?" you meekly ask.

"That depends on what the council intends." He sighs and tilts his head back against the couch. He stares vacantly at the ceiling as he declares, "I won't let them hurt you."

"I'm more worried about you."

A low growl grumbles out of him. "I might be the focus of their prejudice, but don't think they won't turn on you for associating with me." You shrink back some from his harsh tone. He sighs, leans forward, rests his elbows on his knees. "Sorry... realistically it'd be best for us to just leave now while we can."

"But this is our home," you say lightly. You understand his point, you're just not ready to leave this place yet. Of course, if it comes to it, you know you will; but you deeply hope you two don't have to try to find a new home.

He takes your hand and weaves his fingers between yours. "How would you feel if I taught you to fight?"

Your eyes go wide and you sit up a bit straighter. Fight? Who or what was he thinking you might have to fight? You've never been keen to violence. But you also have never been pushed to a place where it was ever an honest possibility. "I-I'm not sure."

He squeezes your hand and nods. Time will tell if you made the right decision.

It's a whole two months before you hear from the council again. In that time, you notice things. When you go into town now, more and more people give you looks—only some try to hide it. Whispers follow you just low enough you can't discern them, but loud enough for you to know they're there. Certain items become harder to shop for too; they just always seem to be out of stock or overpriced when you go shopping.

It's like the entire town is slowly ostracizing you.

Despite the threat, Zunair has been going out more too. Scouting, he says. And it's while he is gone on one of these missions when the letter is delivered.

The council has reached a verdict. The demon is to be executed. You are to escort it to the front of City Hall at midday on the upcoming new moon. Further, you are to be cleansed of any wanton warlock ties. Failure to comply will result in a bounty, and possible seizure of property.

You crumple the letter and hurl it into the cold fireplace. You make yourself focus on your breathing. Deep breath in; deep breath out.

Deep breath in.

Sharp scream of rage out.

Needing a way to vent your enmity, you storm outside to the shed where you store firewood. You set up a log, grab the axe, and swing. Chop. Chop. Chop. With each swing you roar out a bit of fury.

This is what they wanted to do to Zunair. This is what you want to do to them for ordering it.

You hear a sound approaching. With your anger blinding you, you swing the axe towards its source. A hand grabs your wrist while another rips the axe from you. You're pulled forward and collide with a familiar chest.

"I'm glad I didn't teach you to wield weapons properly, or I'd have lost my head there." Zunair's voice is a drop of sweetness to your bitter mood. He drops the axe and wraps both his arms around you. "They're finally giving their orders, huh?"

"Yes."

He bristles. "What did they say?" he asks in a deep growl.

"It's in the hearth."

He doesn't move. Your body language and obvious fury have already told him enough. The details don't matter at the moment. What matters to him is calming and reassuring you.

"How long do we have?"

"Twelve days. Midday on the next new moon."

The rest of the day carries the somber mood like a grievous wound. Zunair reads the letter, then tosses it back in the hearth before starting a fire to cook an early dinner. You help clean and chop vegetables. He preps a chicken.

"Why are they worried I'm a warlock?" you randomly ask. "I mean, there are known warlocks living in town. Why would they be against me possibly being one yet fine with them?"

"Because they believe me to be your patron."

You stop chopping. "So?"

He sighs from the weight he is about to impart and levels a stern look at you. "Not all of those who can impart magic are looked upon unfavorably; and it's easier to let ignorance persist by not asking who or what a warlock's patron is."

"And they're all prejudice against demons," you say bitterly. Memories flash of all the things you grew up hearing that stained your first interaction with Zunair. You don't know where such bigotry started, but you're thankfully it never took deep roots in you.

"Another thing is the power aspect of it." He turns his attention back to the chicken, finishes seasoning it, then puts it in the oven to cook. "Both parties gain power through the pact. However, the patron does not usually inhabit this plane."

"So they're just assuming the worst about this whole thing," you accuse of them. You slam your hands on the counter, the knife you were using chatters off to the floor. Zunair comes over and places a hand on yours. You squeeze your eyes shut and rein in your anger. "Would it really be so bad if we entered a pact?"

He blinks a couple times and cocks his head. "Are... are you actually interested in becoming my warlock?" The bright blue glow that's usually reserved for his eyes and extremities lights up his cheeks. Is this how he blushes?! His tail wraps around his leg in a sheepish manner; his gaze is focused on the half-prepped veggies.

He is flustered. And it's adorable.

You make the effort to not comment on or tease him about it—you can do that later once things settle. You shrug nonchalantly. "Why not? We have our bargain already. And it's not like I have any reservations about being tied closer to you," you say, your own face growing warm.

"Bargains and pacts are different." The seriousness in his tone helps mask his nerves. "Bargains can be broken. Pacts cannot. You'll be tied to me forever—even in death."

You don't even need to think about it. Without hesitation you say, "Okay."

His eyes widen. His entire form starts to softly glow. You hold his gaze unflinchingly.

"I know I'm ignorant about all the details involved with it, but I trust you. I know you won't take advantage of me."

He swallows and clears his throat. His glow subsides. He lifts your hand up and laces his fingers between yours as he answers, "Very well then. I shall make you my warlock."

The two of you decide to be extra ceremonious about it. Besides the necessities for the pact binding, you decide to decorate the cabin and prepare a special meal for the night. You don't tell him, but you also plan a special outfit for the occasion. The time it takes to prepare everything brings you close to the council's deadline. It makes you anxious. You are unsure if they will try acting early. But you shake those worries from your thoughts. It's time to start the next chapter of your life—no, the next book.

You and Zunair decorate the cabin together. Inside only; you don't dare risk any outward display of your plans. With the curtains drawn tight, Zunair uses his magic to add a touch of whimsy as he summons the luminous briars that his magic manifests as.

As he finishes up, you come out wearing your new wrap cape. It's deep indigo dye with bright blue embroidery match Zunair perfectly. Typically the garment is worn by wizards, the colors matching their primary class of magic—yours suggests a Divination primary with Illusionism secondary. It'll be the perfect subversion from your soon-to-be pact.

Zunair is speechless as he look you over. He approaches you, eye growling bright. He kisses you. When he pulls back, he has a prideful smile. "Are you ready?"

You nod. "Yes."

He leads you to the center of the chalk ritual circle. You press your left palm to his, similar in manner to certain formal dances. The two of your start walking counterclockwise. He starts reciting a spell in a foreign language. The circle begins to glow under your feet, spreading towards the perimeter more and more with each step you take. When the circle is fully alight, you stop walking and turn to face Zunair, hands still pressed together.

"This pact I form and bind us by blood," he says. He draws a sharp claw across the sides of his and your wrists, drawing blood from you both. You sharply inhale from the sting. "To you I grant my power; to me you grant your service. Do you abide—"

He's cut off by a thundering boom at the front door. Startled, you both look towards the sound. Another boom sounds.

"Come on out, you vile beast and recreant!" a voice calls from outside. "Lest you want us to break and burn the building down."

You curse under your breath and give a panicked look to Zunair. His glow has dimmed to a threatening level. He's paying you no mind. His focus is solely on the voice beyond.

He stalks to the door. "Stay in here," he orders before exiting.

"Zunair!" you call after him in vain. How does he expect you to just let him go like that? Sure, you can't fight, and you can only do so much healing from a distance, but...

But the liability you pose would only hinder Zunair.

You rush to a window and peak outside. You can see five people outside. One stands out from the rest. A thickly built man stands with a sledgehammer casually over his shoulders. Two other brawlers flank him on either side. A wizard is near the trees. An archer is further back, down the road. You pray there's not more.

"Leave!" Zunair bellows, a demonic echo rumbling beneath his voice. "Or I will not guarantee your lives."

"Do you really think one demon can take on a party of adventures?" the sledgehammer man boasts.

"Guess we'll see." Zunair shifts into his beast form and roars. Unlike usual, he has spikes running down his back and barbing his tail, adding to his threatening demeanor.

The fight begins.

In a flash of motion, the man swings his hammer; one brawler goes for the flank while the other draws daggers; the archer fires; the wizard empowers the arrow as it passes her. Zunair avoids the melee strikes, but the magic makes sure the arrow lands.

You let the curtain fall and draw away from the window. You can't watch him fight. You can't see him get hurt. It twists your stomach into violent knots even thinking about how it's going outside.

You hear screams and roars. Snapping wood, thuds, and skidding earth. Blue light occasionally blooms through the curtains bright enough to worry you.

And then you hear the yelp. The cocky laugh.

Without thinking you go to the door and rush outside. Three bodies are on the ground. Zunair is one of them. Thankfully you can see his chest still heaving with breath, but he has already slipped back to his standard form. You catch each other's gaze. The only thing you register besides him, is the man slowly raising his hammer.

The world stills as notice Zunair mouthing something. "Do you abide and bind this pact?" Zunair whispers, you reading his lips.

"This pact I do bind," you say with an eerie calmness.

The spell is finished.

You feel magic eat away the blood from the cut Zunair made on your wrist, and then heal the wound. A near overwhelming power floods in through your left hand. Your finger start to stain a soft indigo, then your wrist, then your forearm. The same vines that tattoo Zunair snake up along your discolored arm. His magic is a crisp autumn night warmed by a bonfire; a full moon reflecting on an unusually calm sea; that presence that presses in when all light is swallowed.

You feel his phantom guidance raising your hands. Throny vines, some thicker than the trees, rocket from the earth, shaking the ground. You curl your fingers and the vines wrap around the three standing enemies. They cry out in fear and pain; they struggle to no avail. With a quick jerk of your hand, you slam them into the ground. You flinch from the sound their bodies make on impact. You're not sure if any of them are still alive...

You hear a strained whimper. At least one is alive. You walk up to the surviving member and wave the vines away. The wizard is the lone survivor—her magic must have saved her from catching a fatal blow. She looks up at you with blood splattered desperation.

"We are no threat to anyone who is no threat to us," you say, your words like ice. You give her a bit of healing. Enough to allow her to return to town on her own. "Leave us be. I'll still hold my clerical duties for any accepting of my aid.. but challenge our peace and we won't hesitate to defend ourselves again. Am I understood?"

She frantically nods her head. Struggling, she pulls herself backward, away from you, still visibly in pain. She manages to her feet and scurries off.

You rush to Zunair. You summon as much healing magic as you can muster into him.

He half-heartedly chuckles. He's stable, but the adrenaline drop is sapping his energy.  "My, my. Look at you." His gaze slowly wanders around.  "You really took to my magic."

You glance around, taking in and processing what you actually did. It's shocking to believe. What clearing there had been around the cabin before is now swallowed by the massive growth of luminous briars. Trees have decayed and fallen to make room for them as well. It's your own pocket of arcane forest.

"I can't believe I did all that.  I can't believe I..." you struggle to say the word.

"Hey," he growls, commanding your attention. He softens. "We were put in an impossible position. And that was much more me than you. It's not a weight for you bear alone."

You slowly inhale and nod a bunch. It'll take time for his words to settle in, for this event to not make you want to vomit your guts out.

Life has really changed. One of the briars—controlled by Zunair—flicks your nose. You welcome the little distraction and flick the briar back. "I really made a fortress with these, huh?"

"You just wanted your own forest to command," he teases.

You laugh lightly and look around again, seeing just how high and how far the briars reach. "I don't think we'll have to run away now."

"No," he grins. He takes your left hand and appreciates the pact mark. "You've claimed what's yours."

Thank you for reading this series. It started as just a one-off, joke-y comment, then turned into a short meet cute I felt compelled to write out, then into this fuller fanfic, lol. I don't write a lot in this POV, and write even less in present tense, so this was an interesting (and fun) write.

So you're letting me pick? ... *laughs maniacally* THAT WAS A BAD IDEA HUN ---------------------------------------- So i have alot of ocs actually- and alot of sonas also from the past, present, future- so excuse me but you GAVE ME PERMISSION TO GUSH. But to keep you sane, i'm gonna skip over most of the "dead" characters Savvy is one of 4+ characters that i absolutely still adore, and keep in my little oc-world A grey to red and reddish pink color pallette, fennec fox-plushie. I mainly inspired her personality of the vibe i give off to any newcomers- and well- she also has 1 different form that i previously called "Darkus" for some reason Void is the next, a white to turquoise and cyan color pallette, glitchy fox. I think she's kinda like the vibe after you've known me for awhile? But that might have changed- all i know is she glitchy and cool lmfao Also previously shown to melt, might keep that Mayah and Daeva simultaneously are Bacterial Contamination Cats Because DAMN if being edgy wasn't enough, add the spooks! and stabs Enough of the jokes though, Mayah is the one with a scarf and is overall shy for some fucking reason and Daeva is an edgelord due to- well i'll mention them later. Both are (darker) grey and red with possible pink/white stingers... idk yet it's been a while! Molse, who i actually felt like should have kept the albino-mouse-rat species, might become a rabbit later on. White-black-red and neutral. Smol boi lmfao. Might have been a victim to either Mayah or Daeva- I forgot the name of this one, probably was too complex- I have a molecule-alcohol-dog character and i think they're absolutely NOICE! Might have to explore this character more so their story could begin showing to me. I have a few others somewhere but those are the most interesting... But i bet you wanna know that guy who corrupted Daeva, didn't cha? Corrupto is currently their/his name, and currently is a loose runaway corruption. Took a liking to Daeva, but.. they still are a fuckass even if that liking exists (= Oh and they probably will stay like that until showing a clear sign of redemption muahahahaha i'm evil Now for some of the interesting ones Starting of with another corruption who'se previous host i won't say.. We have my little experimental creature, Vortex! They're a little mess, learning as they go. But man, they're a BIT different from the others, and fun to draw for some reason. Btw both corruptions are black (white or red) goopsters lmfao Honorable mentions before the ones i've drawn more often: Pencil [AU], kinda child and bean, might not be innocent deep down though. Obey Me OC Profile!

Finally decided to post something myself here! Here’s the profile of my Obey Me OC, Rulgrodath.

Name: Rulgrodath

AKA: Ru

Birthday: Jan 13th

Zodiac: Capricorn

Favourite colour/colour scheme: Black, green, blue and silver

Scent: Ocean – seaweed, sea salt.

Height: 5’3’’

Voice: Strong but pretty quiet most of the time, very sarcastic when she’s angry, ranges between alto and soprano tones because of her music career, if she’s talking and she wants someone to hear, they know about it. Her voice is loudest when she’s angry, but she tends to go very quiet beforehand, and speaks through gritted teeth before she blows up.

Eyes: Yellow with a slit, catlike pupil

Hair: Dark brown, reaches about ¾ down her back, has a slightly lopsided fringe parting 

Body: 

Demon form: One pair of large black feathered wings with an iridescent sheen of green and blue, two sets of horns, one curling down either side of her head and two sets of horns, one curling down the sides of her head, one sticking up, green and blue scales on her temples, jaw and neck, long black green and blue feathered tail, black feathers around her shoulders and neck, usually wears a set of black gloves with two sets of finger armour on the index and middle finger of her right hand, black leggings and tank top (occasionally a black dress).

Human(ish) form: very skinny, no horns or wings, still has the scales, wears the same finger armour as in her demon form but without the gloves, hoodies or fluffy jumpers and leggings or sweatpants depending on how she feels, and a necklace Levi bought for her at a Comic Con as a sign of friendship.

Obsessions/habits: Can have severe body issues at times as it reminds her of how she died, this is what most of her breakdowns are based on, very protective of people she cares about, can overthink a lot, if nervous she’ll either bite her lip or mess with her hands (e.g. tapping, wringing her hands, cracking her knuckles), if she’s wearing a necklace or jewellery she’ll mess with that or her hair, will absorb herself in music or games when she’s upset, can verbally and emotionally blow up if she’s pushed too far, is also pretty self conscious about her height as compared to most demons she is very small due to her originally being a human.

Sweet spot/Sensitive place: Top of her head and behind her ears - she will start purring like a cat, very ticklish, will punch or try to freeze whoever is tickling her unless they are very close (e.g. Mammon, Astro*, Hiris**). 

Talents: Musician, very talented vocalist, good at comforting people when they're having bad days and cheering them up, not afraid to stand up for herself and other, can be quite terrifying at times, notices small details pretty often, can read body language and pick up on details of a person's attitude, personality and actions

Faults/sins: Envy and Pride, as those are what killed her, severe body issues, has a tendency of putting others above her own wellbeing, inner conflict of wanting to be perfect and knowing that is self destructive, a bit of a people pleaser,

Special skills/powers: Water magic, calming voice.

Music taste: Very wide, varies from jazz/swing to modern pop, film and game soundtracks to classical music, rock to musicals. The only kind of music she doesn't particularly like is reggae.

Personality: Kind, a little overprotective, a 'mum' friend to anyone she cares about, not afraid to speak her mind, will stand up for others, tough outside, soft inside.

Nicknames: RuRu (Mammon), Treasure (Mammon), Player 3 (Levi), Water Witch, Ice Queen/Ice Witch/Snow Witch, White Witch 

Backstory key points: Grew up in a family of musicians, was heavily praised throughout her life, grew envious of other musicians she thought were better than her, which led to her practicing almost constantly with no breaks. Died of starvation, dehydration and exhaustion. Was reborn in the Devildom as a demon of Envy and Pride. Met Levi at a Comic Con - they literally ran into each other, Levi in Lord of Shadows cosplay, Ru in Female Henry cosplay on her way to perform on stage, they bonded after the performance. Stayed in contact online for a while before meeting up in cosplay a few times, then to hang out as friends. Levi eventually brought her back to HOL to play games, where she was introduced to his brothers.

Animal theme: Feathered dragon/bald eagle

Relations to other characters:

Lucifer: Heavy dislike because of how harsh he can be to his brothers, especially Mammon. Will tolerate him though. Will quote musicals and sometimes Shakespeare to casually insult him. Will only lash out if he says something that might hurt someone, as a reminder that maybe he shouldn’t be so tough on those around him. 

Mammon: Love interest (ignore this if you don’t like OCs shipped with canon characters). Bonded after she first came home with Levi, she saw how, despite being talked down to by his brothers, he kept supporting them no matter what insults they threw at him. Very supportive of him and comforts him whenever she can.

Levi: Best friend (one of), was the first of the brothers she met, thinks he's funny and likes it when he starts rambling about things he likes, joins in at times, wants to help him with his insecurities.

Satan: Mutual respect for how much they both annoy Lucifer. Happy to talk about books and musicals with him. Tries to reassure him that he is not Lucifer 2.0

Asmo: Best friend (one of). Gossip, music and shopping buddies. Likes spending spa days together. Very supportive of her whenever she has a body image breakdown. Tries to calm her down when she's angry at Lucifer, but won't physically get in the way. 

Beel: Friends, he makes sure she has food if she's going through one of her body image episodes (was told by Mammon and Asmo), tries to comfort him when he's worried about what's happening between his brothers. Will frequently bake things for him and his brothers.

Belphie: Like Satan, mutual respect for how much they annoy Lucifer. Happy to lie about and just chill with him.

MC: Mother figure. Very protective of them and will defend them from anyone who wishes them harm, including the brothers. Makes sure they're alright as much as she can. Has a pact with them so they can call her whenever they need her.

Diavolo: Respects him. Understands he has a lot going on so will give help when asked, but most of the time will leave him be. Very grateful towards him due to him helping her get settled in the Devildom when she arrived after her death.

Barbatos: A little afraid of him because of his time related abilities. Tries to keep on his good side as much as she can.

Simeon: A bit of a fan, since he's the author of TSL, one of her favourite series. Holds him in very high regards, very happy to talk with him. Has offered to collaborate with him if he needs music for future films/episodes.

Luke: Considers herself a bit of a mother figure to him. Looks after him when he's upset, happy to bake with him as much as he wants.

Solomon: A little skeptical of him, considering the 72 pacts he has with demons and his magical ability. One of the few people she struggles to read.

Astro*: Best friend (one of). Will team up with her to stand up to Lucifer. Protective of one another, will gladly cause chaos together.

Hiris**: Best friend (one of). A little jealous at times because she still has some family, but overall similar relationship as between Ru and Astro. Will gladly try to satisfy her curiosity and listens to her stories a lot.

Role: Student, vocalist and musician at multiple clubs

Family: None, doesn’t know what happened to her human parents or siblings after she died, barely remembers them at all.

Extra facts:

Will use her water magic both to help herself and others to calm down after a bad day and also to trap anyone she wants to 'talk' to - will freeze their legs and shoes to the ground so they can't move (usually Lucifer or people who decide to verbally or physically attack one of her friends)

Will buy Mammon or Levi something from Akuzon without them knowing whenever they've had a bad day to cheer them up

Will cause water based inconveniences targeted at Lucifer if she wants a more subtle way of annoying him after he's given someone (usually Mammon) a too severe punishment - e.g. burst pipe in his bathroom, frozen drink when he's starting to overstep his boundaries (even when she's not in the room, has a codeword with Mammon for him to send to her if he ever feels like Lucifer is talking down to him too much), bucket of water is accidentally knocked over and it spills on him, water goes cold when he's having a shower and will not reheat (Lucifer knows its her but has no way to prove it as she's never actually seen doing it unless she wants to be seen, only MC, Hiris and Astro know that Ru has the HOL pipe system memorized so she knows which pipe goes to which room)

Most presents she gives that haven't been bought on Akuzon are either made with her water magic or tickets to concerts she has managed to get through a few connections (the latter is usually for Levi)

Some of you are probably tired about me screeching about my angel bois that I made as OCs for Obey Me. But I’m not and my friend also said they aren’t and that’s all I care about.

So I will screech about these nasty guys some more. Because angels aren’t nice in my book, they never were and they never will be, at least not nice as most people perceive them and I have my reasons for that. 

Anyways, I wanted them to fit into the Universe kinda given in the game but with my own twist on it, I also took some things that are kinda biblical or proper angel related but also not word for word, I used them as I saw fit and changed it to fit what I like.

These are more like scribbles, and ideas of what I want them to be, there will probably be more added to that, but as of now these are the most complicated and most thought about OCs I ever had. Like I even gave them their own personalities and stories and I never did that before, so I’m keeping all as bullet points! 

Michael

• hates demons and especially Diavolo with a burning passion, probably the reason why the celestial realm has such a bad view of demons

• created in Gods image, so he is treated as that, everything he does is good and right and correct, gets everything he wants

• fell in love with Lucifer, especially since he was created as the most beautiful of Archangels, so that’s just what he deserves

• but he is kinda uncharacteristically shy about that and never told him directly, but it was clear he kinda had a special spot for him

• has a horrible god complex, and Lucifer hated that, he was curious but in total not really interested

• but Michael is dumb, and not used to having people not like him, he doesn’t get things like that, doesn’t accept them even, because he is like their creator so everyone should love him now matter what

•  decided that Gabriel had to be his best friend one day, and well then he had to be because you don’t oppose Michael, that’s just not a wise thing to do

• Gabriel is the only one he ever directly told about his feelings for Lucifer

• that’s why he hates Diavolo so much: the love of his life started a war because of a decision that he made, that there was no chance that his decision was wrong or uncalled for, absolutely no way for that, he always knows what he has to do and everything he does is 100% correct, he can’t make mistakes, so he kinda got mad and kicked him out as a “come back when you learned your lesson”. But he didn’t. He still has to learn apparently, but he still loves him a lot and waits for him to come back. And then he has the audacity to fall in love with the prince of hell, something that he can’t accept and will never, because that demon is just trash and he is better in any way especially looks. And it can’t be that a demon got what you can’t because he is Michael.

• strongly believes that Diavolo is just manipulating him and just put him under a spell, especially in his moment of weakness right after the fall

• is set on bringing Lucifer back, because he can just do that, when he wants him back everyone wants him back

• because their love isn’t genuine but a farce that Diavolo set up, and since he is strong none can look through that aside from him

• he is extremely positive, nothing can bring him down or change his opinion

• Gabriel has to fix all his problems, he is so helpful and nice, always, even when people don’t want it, but how can people not want his help, impossible

• I was inspired by the fact that the sun is the planet/star associated with him for his design, so he is warm and supposed to resemble a sunny day, with red and blue being his colours

• he’s a virgin and completely oblivious to anything that has any sexual innuendos, like he understand how things work but has no idea about kinks or that anything could be seen in that way, it just simply never crossed his mind, he also doesn’t get it when people flirt with him, he just thinks they are being nice

• fully and completely trusts Gabriel, which has caused him to get away with some stuff, but he is the closest friend he ever had and he won’t stop taking about him and telling him and others how great he is

• is plagued by nightmares, the war and everything that has happened didn’t pass by completely, opposite to his usual bright and happy personality, he never talks about them with anyone other than Gabriel though, he wants to stay happy for everyone

Powers

• he got a flaming sword as his weapon

• theory for the eyes floating around his halo: This is kinda complicated and probably only makes sense in my head but I’m trying to explain it. He is pretty much their creators physical resemblance walking around, so he needs the ability to see everything. In my story, he, Gabriel and Lucifer were the big three up there, the ones with the most power and the most influence. They were always ment to be that so Michael as the first to be created was created with their eyes for him to see through as well, getting another point of view so to say. The blue ones are his own, the green ones are Gabriels and the red one that is still there is what was left of Lucifer’s three, the other ones he took with him, so he can see things too. With traces of all their powers he can see everything that happens, and draw out powers from them. They are always with him and he can see what they are doing or what they are thinking about the topics too. Gabriels glare at him most of the time, and the red one that was left doesn’t move much anymore, since the connection was lost mostly. And I’m saying mostly because it still stands,so he also knows what’s going on in the Devildom, not to the tiniest of details like he should be able to but in general. Very advanced stalking powers so to say. 

Fashion

• he likes showing skin and wearing tighter fitting clothes, his creator made his body after all and he proudly wants to show that

• So he usually wears some deep cut out shirts for any casual clothes and tighter fitting dress pants

• loves lots of colour, his favourite pattern is plaid

Gabriel

• realist

• hates everyone equally, goes into every conversation hating his opposite, but you can proof him wrong and then he’ll be decent, but good luck to you if not

• is as done with Michael as Lucifer and Barbatos together are with Diavolo

• roasts Michael on a daily basis, but he doesn’t get it, he is to perfect for that, why would anyone do it

• will never make fun of him though and will be there for him, they have been stuck to each other for so long, they ended up being closer to each other than anyone else, he just shows his love through hate and disgust

• the only one in the Celestial realm with braincells, and he doesn’t like sharing

• isn’t averted to demons at all, was probably the reason why Michael agreed to the exchange program

• some suck but not all

• also knows, and accepts that Lucifer doesn’t have any interest in Michael and tries to get him off of that since Millennia but it never works

• likes getting his hair brushed and braided, it’s his quilty pleasure, has a collection of brushes and combs

• also likes piercings, he has a lot

• I read somewhere that his planet/star was the moon and I liked that, I could design him and Mike as opposites that way, that’s why I made him super pale and resembling the night

• pure savage, he cares about nothing

• super bold, he will say anything that is on his mind, no reagard for any other person

• makes up for Mike being a virgin tenfold, he’s a little kinky, likes body worship and humiliating others

•  definitely has a bit of a princess personality, he’s above others and they should feel honoured that he even graces them with his presence

•  very set on looking clean and pristine

• doesn’t really care about gender normalities, I feel he would be more on the nb spectrum but uses male pronouns, make fun of him dressing up girly/feminine and you’ll regret every decision you ever made in life

Powers

• I picked off the fact that Gabriel is kinda god’s messenger I guess, so I made his voice his powers

• he can use his creators if he wants to, and that affects people more closely, they feel it in their hearts more and are more affected by it, in both negative and positive ways

• and Gabriel isn’t nice, so he mostly yells at people 

• everyone is scared off him because of that, extremely careful around him to not say anything that could make him angry

• or they’ll regret it, like just him saying that you didn’t do a good job when using his voice could make you so depressed that you hole yourself up in your room for the next years

• so kinda like mind breaking, the stronger the being the harder it is to apply, but even other Archangels are affected by him, just for Michael it doesn’t work at all

• is pretty weak physically, but thanks to his voice people mostly break down and lay crying on the floor long before they reach him

• doesn’t need to be next or close to the people for that, you always hear him as if he was right next to you even if you don’t see him

• he is really intelligent

• he also knows everything about a person, every way that words could hurt them, that just comes with it, reading their minds a little you could say, but only seeing information that he could use, use to build them up or bring them down

OC Master List

Obviously if you’ve followed me for any length of time you will know that I have a really nasty habit of making characters of my own design. I love to be creative and make my own realities through this medium. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do. I’ve wanted to make this for a while because my friends sometimes get confused as to which OC that I’m talking about so this is the master list for everybody. 

My Hero Academia: If I have any fandom where most of my OCs go it’s into the MHA fandom. I have currently five OCs in this show so let’s talk about them one by one. 

Mitsuki Haruka: My first OC that I truly ever created and invented with the knowledge of doing it. Mitsu has a really special place in my heart because she was the first and the one that I work for the most in this fandom usually. Her comfort character is Katara from Avatar The Last Airbender. Her quirk is water. She can pretty much do anything with water. She can heat it, freeze it, glide around on it, whip it out of her and use something that I stole from Fairy Tail called waterlock where she locks a person inside of a body of water. Her canon partner is Tenya Iida my favorite square boi. I often talk about her with her adopted brother and my amazing friend @bio-hazard0us OC Kaku. 

Violet Katsuragi: Violet is one that I don’t really talk about in great detail a whole lot because every time I try to I cry. Her family is a massive shit show and I always feel so bad for making it that way.  I’m always like “My poor baby who is making you suffer so much-oh yeah it’s me sorry about that babe.” She is my “villain” OC. She is really only a member of the league so that she can stay close with her boyfriend and love of her life Twice (Jin). Her quirk is that she can control the plant tattoos that are on her arms by summoning them and using them in combat. Her comfort character is Mary Poppins because it reminds her of her older brother. Violet is an actress for a local community theater once the league disbands quietly. She and Jin also adopt Toga (a younger member of the villain league) as their own daughter to give her a second chance at life. I love her even though she’s the saddest backstory one that I have to work with it’s also the most fulfilling when I write fluff for her. 

Shizuko Kanade: Another absolute baby with a crappy home life. I’m sorry that I made it that way hun but it gets better for you I promise. Shizuko is my quirkless OC and my genius tech girl. She lives below her best friend and brother in arms Denki Kaminari and they’ve been best friends since they moved into the same building together. Her comfort character is PJ from the Goof franchise especially from Goof Troop that was her favorite show to watch with her aunt when she was growing up. She starts off really chubby, the cute kind of chubby but starts drastically dropping pounds in order for her parents to love and accept her. When they still don’t Denki has enough and talks to his mom and they decide to call the police and foster Shizuko into their own home. They get a restraining order against her biological family and my best girl gets a happy home. She wants to be the first quirkless hero to rely completely on support items. (She is also partnered with Shoji if anybody is curious.)

Arashi Mitsuha: This absolute baby, I love them. Ari is my gender fluid OC that I made who started off as just your everyday cis male but then I had an idea that spiraled from Ari in eyeliner to Ari in a skirt and then we wound up with the gender fluid absolute icon that they are today. Ari has a weather quirk. Basically anything involving weather they can do it with their eyes closed. Thunder and lightning storms, tsunamis, tornados but also snow and sunshine. They’re really OP and hella versatile it makes it more fun to write their fighting style. I paired them up with Denki in your stereotypical meet-cute scenario. In terms of backstory they just had a really bad ex-boyfriend before Denki came into their life like a literal speeding bullet. Their comfort character is Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. 

Litzy Diaz: My last and FINAL MHA OC I promise you. Litzy is from a small town in Mexico and transferred to UA giving herself a second chance to start anew with her new friends and away from her toxic parents. She is fostered by Aizawa and Present Mic who have already adopted Shinsou so they are brother and sister in every way but blood. Her quirk was very heavily inspired by my love of Dr Facilier in Princess And The Frog. She can control shadows, shadow travel through things such as walls and she can control her friends on the other side basically demons from the underworld. Present Mic sees her as his long lost daughter and basically worships the ground that she walks on. He loves her more than anything in the entire world. Her comfort character is Miguel from Coco and La Muerte from Book Of Life. Her canon partner is Juso from Class B. 

DuckTales: I only have one DuckTales OC (thank the Gods) but she’s very special and important to me. I love the reboot of this show even if I’m way the hell behind on it (I promise I’ll catch up after Gravity Falls Donuts!!). 

Sabrina Duck: Sabrina is a sister for Huey, Dewey and Louie!! She shares the title of oldest quadruplet by thirty seconds and often took over the motherly role for her siblings when their mom wasn’t there. She was always reminding them to do their homework, regulated who got TV time and who was in charge of the delegated family movie night. This resulted in a rift between her and her brother Dewey that only got bigger overtime. School was really hard for her to deal with. She was never the best at paying attention during her classes and had a really bad sensory overload one day. She was really close with her uncle Ludwig though and he offered to teach her. They have a really special bond between the two of them that I love writing for. Sabrina was the person that grounded Ludwig to not think up as many crazy inventions. She also knits!! She loves knitting sweaters for her friends and family around the holidays. I am partnering her up with Gosalyn eventually. 

Star Vs The Forces Of Evil: To be perfectly honest with you guys, I have not seen the entire show. It’s really hard for me to get into it. Because when you only really love one character in the entire thing it gets harder to keep coming back for more. Especially because in the first two seasons you don’t get a whole lot of him and I’m stuck on season 2. 

Allania (Nia) Alvez: I feel like out of all my OCs I am the most like Nia. She’s a half elf-half mortal princess that isn’t allowed to live with the elves so they sent her to live with her mortal father. Her dad’s run a bakery in town and she works there as an assistant baker when she isn’t preparing for her next drag show. She grew up in this family full of love and acceptance and grew excited about one day having a relationship just like her parents. Her first brush with love left her broken by the side of the road even though no relationship came of it. A lot of my feelings for my ex-best friend went into Nia’s personality. However, there is a bright side! Of course with every one of my fics so far there is a bright side that comes in the form of my favorite character Tom who gives her the love that she deserves. 

Animaniacs: Of course this is me we’re talking about so there has to be an Animaniacs OC on this list! This is actually the first character that I ever made on my own free will! She has changed a lot throughout the years that I’ve had her mostly because my tastes have changed.  

Elizabeth Martin: Lizzy is a member of the scene crowd, I was inspired by my best friend and what she wears every day. For the modern au that I have her in her and Yakko are dance partners in a musical theater style school. For the regular fic she’s cast as his love interest. I love this girl so much. To me she is everything that I want to be even now. Her strength and confidence to get through every situation, even the ones that she is afraid to deal with speaks volumes to how I want to be one day. One of the few things that we have in common is that we both did martial arts! She stuck with it for longer than me though and is currently a green belt in kempo karate. Her favorite musical is Fun Home because it’s the one that she relates to the most through the eyes of the mother Helen Beckdal. Her parents basically had three other kids and went here take care of these it’s your job. Every time I listen to Days and Days I think of how much she had to go through just to make sure that everything was going according to plan. 

Looney Toons: Who doesn’t love Looney Toons?! We all have our personal favorite characters, mine has always been the schemer Daffy Duck. I thought that he was a combination of the funniest and had the most personality other than Bugs. I love his antics and get rich quick schemes and I thought to myself one day “How cute would it be if he had an adorable little niece who loved space?!” 

Daniella Duck: This began the creation of one of the best ideas that I personally think that I have ever had. So Daniella is the only one out of all my OCs that does not have aspergers. Instead I looked at Daffy’s elongated tongue and was like “Hm something inside of me thinks that she would have down-syndrome...” At first she was just going to have a little bit of her uncle’s speech impediment but this is what happens when I get ideas when I’m working out. Daniella lives with her uncle on the warner movie lot in the show fic. I love writing for her and her uncle’s relationship because it’s soft Daffy (it’s very similar to writing for soft Grunkle Stan and I LOVE BOTH). Daniella also has an uncle figure in Bugs and Porky of course. I gave her canon partner to Wakko because I just thought that they would be SO cute together. He helps her work on her self confidence and working her way around her speech impediment. In the modern au that I have she has a brother Ding Dong (@oo-fabooo02 OC). She goes to school with Wakko, loves Ed, Ed N Eddy, helps her uncle on his podcast because Daffy is a comedian in this au and she helps him write his script for the episodes. She loves space in both aus but in the modern au she actually is able to become an astronaut! 

Teen Titans\Promare: I have the same OC for both Teen Titans and for Promare but she’s more for Promare right now. What started off as just a happy au that she could have with her comfort character from the TT fic sort of spiraled into this whole other au. 

Keiko Katsuragi\Fotia in the Promare au: Keiko is a really special OC in my heart. She’s adorable, fun loving, sweet and just an all around amazing girl. In the Teen Titans au she’s a lot more damaged emotionally. Her father gave her powers through a serum that she didn’t even really want (she thought that he was joking) and it caused her house to burn down. When she left Japan she was homeless until the Teen Titans found her. Keiko is a member of the decora community and loves cutesy, girly things (especially Pokémon, Sanrio characters, Spongebob, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears). Her collection of stuffed animals is immense and intimidating. Her canon partner is Beast Boy. I’ve had Keiko since I was six and only just started to refine her and make her into an official OC. Promare au Keiko still has BB as her partner but I made him into a fire fighter for this au to work. She started off in a poly relationship with Meis and Gueira but I changed my mind. Writing the Promare au gave me the chance to make a happy unscarred Keiko. Her comfort character in this au is Dot. 

Princess And The Frog: If you forced me to pick a favorite Disney movie this one would be one of the two answers that I gave to you. I have a very big soft spot for this movie in particular. It is one that changed my life when I sat there as a young child and watched the movie unfold in front of my very eyes. Every time I rewatch this movie I am reminded of how much of my childhood I spent loving hand drawn Disney animation. 

Rhiannon (Rae): Rae is the daughter of Tiana and Naveen. I named her after Raymond the firefly. If you knew what a big comfort character my favorite cajun firefly is for me and my mom then her name will come as no surprise. She is the baker and pastry chef for Tiana’s Palace. Rae is a multi musically talented young girl she plays the ukulele, trumpet and accordion. When I first started writing for her I knew that I wanted her to be bisexual. So I turned to one of my favorite animation fun facts that I know. When Jim Cummings was first auditioning for Raymond they had him sing a song. This song that he sang is by Leon Russel and it’s called Cajun Love Song. It is also the song that he sings when he is untying Tiana and Naveen’s tongues. The song is about a girl named Alice. And part of my brain that makes these connections went perfect! That’ll be the name of her girlfriend. Rae is mostly a daddy’s girl. The relationship between her and Naveen was really what helped me refine her personality. Her comfort character is Rabbit from Winnie The Pooh. She is a gardener in her free time and that’s where she gets a majority of her fresh fruits and vegetables for her pastries and desserts. She isn’t really the best at being a princess. In fact she hates when she has to go and visit Maldonia. She doesn’t feel at home there and they won’t let her cook or bake anything at all because it’s not seen as ladylike. This is when she mostly feels like something is wrong with her. Why can’t she just do this one seemingly simple thing for her dad? When he does so much for her why can’t she do this? She learns that even though she isn’t perfect she is so very much loved that it’s ridiculous. Her family loves her so much and they’re willing to move hell or high water for her to be comfortable. 

Gravity Falls: My most recent obsession (I did not have cable when the original show was being released please don’t kill me). I have recently been binging this show on Disney+ and have just started the second season. I hope to be done with it within the next week or so because I love it so much. My favorite character so far is definitely Grunkle Stan. I love his growth and development from a power hungry greedy old man to somebody that clearly loves the kids that are put under his care. Watching his adorable relationship with mother and the father son relationship with Dipper is something that is really close to my heart.

Twilight Pines: My most recent OC!! Twilight is the older sister of Mabel and Dipper and has been visiting Grunkle Stan for years prior to the start of the show. She’s used to his money scheming antics by now but she still loves her favorite Grunkle. Growing up, Twilight had a nervous stutter. She was shy, nervous a lot, socially awkward and was never really the best at dealing with other people. This made her comfort character Piglet from Winnie The Pooh. Her stutter is still there but it’s gotten a lot better!! She spent the year before the show starts at drama camp trying to get over her stutter. While it’s not gone completely it was a lot of progress. She has a really strong relationship with her caretaker for the summer because of the years that she’s spent with him in the past. Up until Mabel went with her for the summer she thought that she would be the only niece in his heart. See, after Mabel was born she took up a lot of the attention. Everyone wanted to look at the cute one instead of the nervous one. It’s just the way that life is. But during the summer she got to spend it being the favorite relative of somebody. When she notices how close Mabel and Stan are getting that’s when she knows that it’s over. She was naive to ever think that somebody would pick her as the favorite. Not when Mabel existed alongside her. It’s not that she doesn’t love Mabel because she clearly does. It’s just that well sometimes she wants to be loved and appreciated by her parents instead of constantly being sidelined. That’s why her summers with her Grunkle were so important to her. It was just three months out of the year. But for those three months working at the Mystery Shack and having all kinds of chaotic fun were the highlight of her year. She has to learn that she has her own values too. One’s that while don’t oversell her sister are still her’s and they are still beautiful. She learns that her parents love and care about her just as much as her sister. It’s just hard to be a show stealer in this house let’s be honest. Twilight is a pansexual and her canon partner is Wendy.
