For one, single weak willed moment, Mac wants to call out, to crawl to where Jack is no doubt sleeping soundly and with no want to be disturbed, especially with something like this. 

Mac even opens his mouth, calling “Jack?” softly. 

To his mortification and dismayed relief, his voice cracks half way through, scratchy and soft with his near tears. He presses his mouth shut tightly, hand clamped tightly over his lower face, short nails biting into his cheeks even as sparks ignite from his wrist, surging down his forearm, into his fingers. Mac chokes down the tears, his own needy selfishness that has him wanting to disturb his partner, and instead takes quick, uneven exhales through his nose, heedless of how it has his ribs aching beneath bruise tender skin, trying so desperately to hide his noises, to stop the tears he can feel burning across the bridge of his nose, falling off his face to wet his pillow.

Well I accidentally got into the MacGyver fandom and so whelp here we are with my babe

It’s been shown in other episodes how Mac cares for another people, even ones that he doesn’t know that well. But, I feel like in 2x10 we saw another level to just how much Mac is willing to do to protect, save or help someone. This episode showed not just him being vulnerable, but also gave us a further insight to who Mac is as a person. He’s intelligent, kind, compassionate, humble, loyal, funny, brave and confident. And I love how the writers let us see his sensitive side, as opposed to hiding it. Angus Macgyver is such a complex character and Lucas Till does such an amazing job every episode in showing us Mac’s strengths and weakness.

New preview for the season premiere of MacGyver Season 2!

I’m going to be honest. Right now, I’m not digging the new addition. The team did not need a new member (maybe a few seasons down the road but not in it’s second season), and I’m worried she’s going to screw with the formula that makes the show work which is the bromance between MacGyver and Jack. If she wasn’t already a regular on the season, I would be okay, but the fact that she’s already a regular just doesn’t sit well. Hopefully, they don’t turn her into a love interest for the boys, and simply keep her a team member.

You feet padded silently through the apartment as you tried to find Mac, walking into the living room you see him sitting on the couch, earbuds in as he was fiddling with a small gadget.

As you entered, he glanced up, a smile forming on his face as his eyes moved across your body as you stood in the doorway in nothing but a towel.

“Do you know where my pajamas are?”

“Second drawer near the closet”

You nodded as you walked back towards the room, aware that Mac got up to follow you. As you entered the bedroom and walked to the set of drawers, Mac leaned against the doorway, his mind filling with thoughts that he had been having for a while.

You opened the drawer to see it packed full of your clothes, picking up a pair of pants you muttered to yourself “I was wondering where these went”

He smiled again as he finally got the courage to ask you “Why don’t you just bring all your stuff here?”

You smirked as you stood and walked into the bathroom, calling back as you closed the door “I don’t think it would all fit in this drawer”

He paused for a minute, thinking “Well, I mean, you could have the closet, I could fit my stuff in the drawers”

There was a silence that lasted long enough to make Mac begin to panic, but then door creaked open and your clothed body peaked out “Mac, are you asking me to move in with you?”

He shrugged his shoulders “You spend enough time here that you almost do already, and...well, I can’t lie that it doesn’t feel right when I wake up and you aren’t next to me”

You opened the door the rest of the way and stepped out not being able to stop the smile that appeared on your face, taking a lot of anxiety away from Mac “Well, your place is closer to work than mine”

He smiled and took a single step closer to you “And it’s closer to your favorite breakfast spot”

“Mmm” you hummed in agreement as you took a step closer to him, you two close together now “Would you let me rearrange things?”

“Only if you tell me where you’re going to put them, last time you moved something it took me a week to find it”

You smiled wrapping your arms around his neck as he wrapped his around your waist “Deal”

He grinned as he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your lips before pulling away and pressing his forehead against yours “When do you want to move the rest of your stuff?”

“How about tomorrow?”

“Sound good to me” 

You both grinned at the thought of living together, hugging each other tightly and kissing again, excited about your new adventure.

Mac and Jack - "I can't believe you."

This one is technicallyyyy six-Okay, no, yeah, it’s six sentences.

“I can’t believe you.” Jack takes a deep breath, pinchinghis nose, clearly trying to get himself under control, and Mac winces.

He deserves this, of course; probably deserves much worse,if he’s being honest.

“I should have told you I was still tracking Nikki,” headmits, but he doubts it’ll have much effect.

The older man stares at him sadly, and that’s the worst ofit: not his anger, but his disappointment.

Jack opens his mouth, but whatever he’s going to say is lostto the ringing of his phone. Mission first, and all that.
