Garm's Fit
Garm is a toddler and, as such, is prone to melt downs.
Master Post
Varska belongs to @jaghatai-khock, Hjarlin and Lorenzo belong to @gregariousbonesinger, Leon and Arlene belong to @meervalv0
Garm whimpered and wouldn't let go of Leman.
"No," he said sternly. "You can't come with. You have to stay here."
She pouted and looked up at Varska, who could only return a sorry smile.
Leman lifted Garm and reluctantly handed them over to Hjarlin.
"Be good," he said.
Hjarlin scoffed, "Me or her?"
Leman narrowed his eyes, "Both."
"You sure you're comfortable with ME taking care of the youngest?" Hjarlin questioned. "You know what happened with my twin."
Varksa bristled, holding tightly onto his blade. He shot a warning look to his brother.
Leman frowned, "I'm certain Garm will come out on top. Not only that, but you have your cousins here, you are on Lion's ship, and you know damn well what I'll do if I come back and she's harmed in any way."
Hjarlin averted his eyes. Garm struggled to get out of his grip, still vying to join dad and Big Brother.
Despite the whimpering and big eyes, they bid their goodbyes and boarded the ship.
The hangar closed, blocking off the vessel. Just in time as well. Garm jabbed their elbow into Hjarlin. He grunted and lost his grip. The toddler bolted past Leon to the door. They couldn't open it, though, and started to whine.
Leon pursed his lips at the sad sight. It had nothing to do with being handed off to Hjarlin. It was the fact that she couldn't go with.
Garm wailed and banged on the hangar door.
Hjarlin sighed, "He said you can't go. The ship has already left. There's no catching up to them now. He'll be back."
Garm let out a mournful howl and continued to scratch against the door.
Lorenzo chuckled at Hjarlin's frustration.
Hjarlin went to pick his sibling up when their sadness turned to anger.
Garm shrieked and kicked the door. They batted away Hjarlin's hands and stomped their foot, psykically demanding the door to be opened.
"No," Hjarlin said firmly.
He knelt down to pull her away, and she whined in protest.
In a flash, she whipped around and bit him on the cheek.
Hjarlin yelped and fell backward, gripping his face as blood began to well. Lorenzo's jaw dropped, and he laughed.
Garm growled, then dashed to Lorenzo, pushing him over from his seat. He cried out as he fell to the floor. Leon's jaw dropped.
Garm let out a screech of defiance and began jumping up and down, stomping her feet upon the ground.
Hjarlin snarled, "Enough!"
Garm kicked him in the legs and then made a rude gesture in sign.
"You're not GOING!" Hjarlin Barked.
Garm screamed again as Leon moved in to difuse the situation.
"Let's take a deep breath," he said. "Garm, would you like to -"
Garm bolted to where a rack of ammo was and turned it over. Bullet shells bounced everywhere. The surrounding Astartes were too slow to catch her. She'd been racing with Varska as of late.
"No!" Hjarlin yelled as he chased after his younger sibling.
Of course, when he decides to reunite with the imperium, he gets put on gremlin babysitting duty! He suddenly realized why Father wasn't at all worried that he'd harm Garm.
Garm knocked over a rack of tools, and the servitor seemed to sigh.
Lorenzo tried to catch the slippery little beast, but they bit him on the knee. He let out an indignant squeal of pain.
Garm ran to the bay doors and began kicking it again. She wailed, and tears began to come out as she grew in frustration.
Leon tried to gently approach again, "Let's go get food! We can go into the kitchen."
Garm turned their head to stare at Leon, then started crying harder.
They threw themselves upon the floor and began flailing and screaming in rage, tears flowing freely.
Leon tried to pick her up, but she went limp and kicked away his hand. Hjarlin was muttering angrily and tried to do the same. She resisted and won.
Hjarlin rubbed his temples as he crouched next to his inconsolable younger sibling. Servitors were already moving to clean up the mess, astartes assisting.
Garm managed to sign up at Hjarlin.
Stinky female wolf. Hjarlin grumbled.
Servitors quickly parted as Lady Arlene swept into the room, a calm expression upon her face. Dark Angels bowed to their legion mother.
"Mother," Leon questioned?
Arlene went right past them and picked up Garm. Even with them going limp, she easily lifted them. An army of children at this age kept her well practiced in these matters.
She held Garm to her chest and began rubbing her back. Garm sobbed and clung to her aunt, wrapping arms around her neck.
"There, there," she soothed as she left with Garm. "Let's braid your hair and make it all better."
Garm's crying faded, and Hjarlin sighed, flopping down to the floor. Leon smiled, thankful for his mother.
"I'm never having children, "Lorenzo stated as he rubbed his knee.

death, who?
a/n: staying true to the resolution! the largest folder in my wips is probably the crossovers. way too many possibilities for someone entrenched in too many fandoms. but, nonetheless, here we are. also big shock! i still write for other fandoms, not just dc.
main masterlist
prompt: A; hold on you died?! ... B; yeah, well, it didn't stick.
synopsis: what if a hunt brought you and your older half-brothers and guardians, Sam and Dean Winchester, to Beacon Hills, and what if, you get in a spot of trouble with your new friends, and need to call for a ride.
wc: 2.7k
Tumblr media
Black.
Everything is black.
You feel your body being torn apart, excruciatingly slow, and suddenly it all snaps back together, muscles, veins, tendons reconnecting and attaching, skin growing back.
Flashes of light, bright, discombobulating.
And then your eyes open.
You shoot up, bodies hovering over you.
Someone screams, someone else is crying.
You choke on nothing for a second, and then you push yourself back to your feet.
Hands grip onto you, frantic, and finally everything fits back into place.
You blink and turn, coming face to face with two boys. Not your brothers, a piece of you panics, but the memories come quick, and you force yourself to relax.
Stillinski and McCall, your brain supplies as you stare at the two. Both are watching you with wide eyes, lips parted, slightly pale. There’s a girl behind them with tears in her eyes. The redhead, Lydia you mind supplies after a second, looks especially distraught.
The choking feeling comes back and this time when you cough, something falls from your lips, a bullet.
You stare at the brass for a second, “seven fucking hells,” you hiss, bending down and picking up the bullet.
It’s deformed, likely the exact bullet that had killed you mere minutes before. Deformed from where and how it had impacted against your body.
The memory of being shot comes back fast and painful, your whole body flinches as you jerk to check your side. There’s blood, and your brow furrows as you push off your jacket and then pull your shirt off, wiping at your side, until you clear away most of the blood.
No wound.
“(Y/n)?” Stiles’ voice cracks as he says your name, and your head snaps back to the others.
They’re still staring at you like they’re all about to be violently sick.
“Hey,” you say, swallowing thickly as you calm your heart rate.
Who brought you back? No Angels nearby… Crowley didn’t have the pull anymore… Leaving… Billie? Or… Chuck?
You shudder at the thought, you hoped it was Billie.
You reach into your pants pocket, and pull out your phone, but your frown deepens when you realize it’s broken, screen cracked, totally toast— kinda like you were.
“Damn,” you mutter, turning back to the four still staring.
That was a problem.
“Can I borrow a phone?” you ask, voice hoarse, but they’re all still staring at you. You roll your eyes, and snap your fingers startling them. “Phone? Please?”
Lydia reaches a shaky hand into her purse and pulls her out, holding it to you.
You’d just dialed Dean’s number when Scott comes back to himself.
“Hold on,” he begins, “you died,” he states.
Newbies, you scoff internally.
“Yeah, well, it didn’t stick,” you lament, raising the phone to your ear.
It rings, and rings, and keeps ringing, until you’re met with “Agent Plant, FBI, leave a message.”
“Damn it,” you mumble, dialing Sam’s number next
It rings, and rings, and rings…
“Agent Page, FBI, leave a mess-”
You don’t wait for the end of the message, and instead hang up, biting your lip you try the last active number you knew of.
It rings, and rings, and rings…
“This is Agent Jones, FBI. Please leave a message and I will-”
“Chuck’s sake,” you grumble and then freeze. There was more than one way to call Cas.
“Your tattoo is gone,” a voice interrupts and your head whips back over to the other teens.
“Fuck, are you sure?” you ask tilting your shoulder in to look at the blade. “You’re so dead, Chuck, stupid things hurt like a-”
“What is she talking about?” you’re vaguely aware of Stiles’ muttered question, but you force yourself to take a deep breath and refocus on the task at hand.
“You were dead,” Lydia finally speaks up, as you hand her phone back.
“Yes,” you nod.
“We did CPR,” Scott adds on.
“Explains the pain on my ribs,” you note, looking around, eyes perking when you spot your backpack.
“It didn’t work,” Stiles.
“Yup, got that,” you confirm half-heartedly, as you pull open the bag, rummaging through.
“I heard your heart stop,” Scott adds, and you pull a spare t-shirt, the one you’d used for gym class, out triumphantly.
“Make sense, since I was dead,” you nod, tossing the shirt over your shoulder, and looking back into the bag.
“I felt it,” Lydia adds, you shudder slightly at that, Banshee premonitions were an entirely different beast.
“Sorry about that,” you say uncomfortably clearing your throat as you pull out the small container of hand sanitizer.
You grab the bag and walk back over to the other three, they’re still starring wide eyed, and you refrain from rolling your eyes again as you reach down for the bloody shirt. You reach to your ankle and pull out your switchblade, using it to cut up the shirt, taking the clean parts, and then dousing it in the hand sanitizer, using it to remove as much blood from your skin as possible.
It leaves the skin sticky, you wrinkle your nose at the feeling, but once content, toss the bloodied clothes in a pile, and wipe your blade before putting it away.
You toss the mostly empty hand sanitizer back in your bag, and run your finger over the bullet again before putting that in your pocket. You pull on the gym shirt, it reads Beacon Hills High School, across the front, and is made of a stiff cotton polyester blend that scratches at your skin, and well, it smells like gym, but you’ve had worse, that’s for sure.
You swipe back your hair and reach into another pocket producing your lighter. You crouch down, and set the bloody clothes on fire. It burns quick, hot, and bright. Especially once it catches on the cloth that had the hand sanitizer. You watch the flames quickly until your blood is gone, and then you stamp it out.
Finally, you swing the bag back on your shoulder and you turn to the other three, really taking the time to take them in. This time you do roll your eyes.
“Yes, I died. Tragic, I know. And yes, I’m back, shocking is an understatement I’m sure, but can we please move on?”
“You died!” Stiles repeats again, and you let out a long sigh.
“And it didn’t stick. It’s not the first time, probably won’t be the last,” you admit, but that seems to be the wrong thing to say because the three of them seem to raise into higher hysterics. “Right. okay! You process this, however you need to. Let me know when you’re ready. In the meantime, I gotta… make a call.”
The three offer jerky nods and you huff, walking ahead of them. They follow in a daze as you guide them out of the preserves and back to the main road. You look up and down, and quietly you close your eyes and pray.
Cas… Castiel, I could really use a hand right about now… Please?
You peek an eye open but are disappointed by the lack of blue-tie-trenchcoat-wearing angels.
You cave after another few minutes of silent prayer.
You drop your bag and walk into the street, “CAS! CASTIEL!!!” you shout.
Stiles flinches so violently he trips over his own feet, the three staring at you as if you were a lunatic, which; fair, but now was so not the time, to go into the angels and demons of it all.
“CASTIEL!” you try again.
“What is a Castiel?” Scott asks, eyes wide and concerned.
“CASTIEL,” you begin, shouting his name once more for good measure, before your lips turn into a deep frown, “is a no-good, older-brother preferring, utterly useless contingency plan,” you huff out, before looking back at Scott and shrugging, “apparently,” you add clearing your throat.
“Right,” Scott nods, but nothing about his response inspired his belief.
Again, fair.
You huff again, “guess we’re doing this traditionally,” you mutter, turning to the three. “No chance any of you has chalk?” you ask.
“Chalk?” Stiles repeats, spluttering. “What like sidewalk chalk? What are we gonna do hopscotch our way back into town?”
You deadpan at Stiles unimpressed, and he shifts under the weight of your stare.
“So no chalk?” you ask, and he huffs. “Fucking townies,” you mumble under your breath, but the look you get from Scott tells you he heard it.
“No chalk,” Lydia confirms. “But, chalk’s mostly made of the shells of single-celled organisms, like coccolithophores and foraminifera,” she explains and your brows furrow.
“What?”
“It’s found in most sedimentary deposits,” she continues.
You blink at her.
Her shoulders sag a bit, “Limestone rocks would work,” she relents.
You perk at that. “Wait here,” you tell them, taking off back the way you’d come. “I saw some limestone on our way out!”
By the time you make it back to them, the three are huddled, whispering quickly and casting weary glances around. They pause as you come back but you barely pay attention, instead, you focus on chalking the ground, delicate and precise marks as you use the limestone on the asphalt.
Once happy with the markings you stand outside the drawing, and toss the leftover limestone aside, wiping your hands on your jeans and standing at full height. You crack your neck, and turn to the markings.
“Amaymon, Amaymon, appear now, by the power of the Angelical Keys, I summon thee, Castiel,” you begin, voice loud and clear. It pulls the other three’s attention. Stiles ready to interrupt when you began again. “Rah ah gah ee oh es, Castiel, Rah ah gah ee oh es,” the three were now staring with wide eyes, on your second pass of the Enochian chant, your voice seemed to reverberate through the preserves, sounding less and less human. “Amaymon, Amaymon, appear now, by the power of the Angelical Keys, I summon thee, Castiel,” you repeat a final time.
You hold your breath, waiting, seconds tick by and finally your eye twitches. Fucking Castiel, you appear whenever Dean calls, bastards, all three of you.
“Fine,” you huff, throwing your hands in the air. “Prayer didn’t work, neither did calling nicely, or an official summons, so I guess that leaves me with threats! I hope you’re happy!” you shout at no one, and you catch the look Lydia shares with Stiles.
“(Y/n) maybe you should-” Scott begins and you wave him off.
“CASTIEL, YOU GET YOUR WINGED ASS HERE RIGHT NOW OR I SWEAR ON MY NAME I WILL NEVER LET YOU HAVE ANOTHER MOMENT OF PEACE YOU WINGED RAT!” you scream, causing the other three to flinch.
And then a man in a trenchcoat materializes right behind you, and the three lose their shit.
“WHAT THE FU-”
“WHO?”
“WHERE DID-”
You whirl around and the Angel stands stiffly as he stares at you.
“About fucking time,” you huff, glaring at him.
“I find your demanding tone off-putting,” Cas decides and your eye twitches.
“Off-putting? Are you kidding Cas? I’ve been trying to get in contact with Dean and Sam, no one’s answering their phones!”
“Which numbers did you try?”
“Plant, Page, and Jones, FBI,” you counter.
“We deactivated them.”
“No shit,” you hiss.
“You are acting like a-” he stops himself, sighing.
the audacity.
“Like a what, Cas?” you press.
“Like an ass-butt,” he admits and you have to scrub your hand over your face. “I do not appreciate it,” he adds on.
You open your mouth with a sharp retort but you stop yourself, count to ten in your mind and let out a deep breath instead. Reminding yourself, you can’t talk to Cas the same way you would to Dean and Sam, it was counter-productive at best.
“You’re right, I apologize Castiel. I’m… flustered,” you admit, levelly, jaw clenched and eye twitching as you do.
“Is it because of these three?” he asks, finally addressing the others hovering just a few feet away.
“No, these are friends Castiel,” you huff.
“Why then? You are usually the most put-together of the three Winchester siblings,” he questions.
Isn’t that a low bar? The 17-year-old little half sister is the most put-together when compared to her two adult older brothers.
“I was shot, and killed about an hour ago Cas, I can feel where they sliced me open down in hell, and smell like a mix of death, blood, and high school gym class. I would very much like to know where my older brothers are, right now,” you explain, once again keeping your voice in that forced level tone.
“I see. One moment,” he says and before you can disagree he disappears.
“Oh, Fuck me!” you shout again.
“I have so many questions,” Stiles speaks up from where he and Scott are still stood.
“Sliced you open?” Lydia repeats, voice pitching up.
“Yeah, and Hell?” Stiles tags on, funnily enough, his voice did the same thing.
You glare at the two. Chuck’s sake, it was going to be such a pain to do the whole tip of the iceberg speech, at least they already believed in the Supernatural.
“Just-” you pause for another deep breath. “Please, let me find my brothers first,” you request instead.
Luckily you don’t have to wait long, because only a few minutes later you can hear an engine coming up the road, and you sigh when you catch sight of the Impala.
The car’s moving fast, and it screeches, skidding a bit, as Dean throws the thing in park. Both of you brothers rushing out. Dean gets to you first, hands on your shoulders, looking you up and down.
“The hell happened?” he asks, voice gruff.
“Hell,” you answer shortly.
“That’s not funny,” Sam counters.
“Neither is radio silence,” you shoot back.
Both of your brothers share a look.
“Fair,” Sam concedes, when Dean stays resolute, he hasn’t let go of you yet.
You feel Dean’s grip tighten and you sigh, “I’m fine, seriously,” you relent, voice softening far more than it has since you woke up.
“C’mon let’s get you to the motel,” Dean decides, keeping one hand on you as he starts pushing you to the Impala.
“Uh, Dean?” Sam calls after him, a nervous laugh paired with a clearing of his throat.
“What?” Dean barks the question over his shoulder, walking you forwards.
“She’s got friends,” he reminds him and you shrug at Dean who finally turns and stares at the the three who have been watching your brothers with curious eyes.
“Ah shit, more teenagers,” Dean frowns. “Fine, pack it in,” he huffs, opening the door.
Sam smiles nervously and gestures for the three to slip into the back row. You on the other hand, end up sandwiched between your two big brothers. Sam casts another look over you once he’s back in the car, and Dean’s pulling a U-turn.
“You sure, you’re okay?”
You sigh, and reach into your pocket, pulling out the bullet, and then dropping it in Sam’s hand as a response.
“Sorry I asked,” he backtracks.
You roll your eyes, and lean back into the leather seat, “Someone has to redo my tattoo when we get to the motel,” you speak up.
“Damn, total wipe?” Dean asks looking over at you.
“Not even a scar,” you mutter.
“That’s not too bad, I mean that wendigo last fall caught you pretty bad, right? Scar’s gone now?” Sam tries to point out but both you and Dean level him with a look.
“I thought we agreed to no bright sides on death, hell, torture, and resurrection,” you mutter mutinously.
“We did,” Dean agrees.
This time Sam rolls his eyes, “Alright, I’m sorry I tried,” he huffs, settling back as well.
“So many questions,” you hear Stiles repeat, and you groan in despair.

with u liking angel overall what do u think of spike and angel dynamics and relationship? like what they are thinking about each other? or their characterisation and whatever
i actually like ats and i really like angel in a good day (hating him in a bad day) but havent watched ats s5 cus "yayyy look theres spike! but his characterisation is butchered. enjoy!" just discouraged me from continue watching 💀
I do genuinely think spangel dynamic is fun to watch. spike riles angel up like no one else and angel constantly snaps at him when he's so much calmer around literally everyone but him. the thing that gets me though is the fact that's the ENTIRE dynamic
with spangel, and talking to one of my friends really pointed this out for me, the issue is to me is how utterly stagnate they are. over a hundred years, and their relationship has barely progressed from where it started. angel tries to tear spike down or is otherwise being pretty indifferent about him, and spike wars between trying to be different from angel and falling in line bc he also desperately craves angel's approval. he's like dru or buffy, he's another person angel has really really hurt, even if spike does fair better off than the girls overall. hates him, wants him, and angel really couldn't care less. it's just sad to me when I think about it beyond them being a comic relief in the show
now, for spike's character. in the beginning, he REALLY feels different. I mean we're talking I was shouting at the screen asking why we were back in seasons 4 and 5 type of spike you're gonna be seeing. but the longer you go on, the more you can really SEE s7 spike. he's not... he's different here. but I think you can very very easily rationalize it as armour bc that is sort of what it feels like. he's harsher here because he has to be, because buffy nor the bit are around to help him let down his guard. he can't trust anyone in this place and NO ONE likes him. how could he be softer? he'd be eaten alive if he tried. you can see it in his body language the most, which utterly fascinates me. I wouldn't shut up about it while watching I loved it. the closest we get to a sweeter spike is around fred and around her exclusively. I think as I've said previously that angel also brings out the absolute worst in spike. being around angel seems to revert spike as being around spike seems to revert angel. they're just really terrible for each other, causing both of them to act like worse versions of themselves. so yeah spike in ats is rough but not y'know the most terrible character assassination I've ever seen. he's just got some fucking awful ooc moments occasionally that you gotta pretend didn't happen (cough cough how he interacts with harmony at all times after the entirety of his growth in s7 cough cough) or you gotta learn to rationalize his behaviour really quick like I did

So uh, you know what DoL is, that game is bat shit but fun if you ignore certain aspects ... Its got some nuts lore and everyday activities, like image Yuu saying something like "oh this place is pretty nice, I haven't been kidnapped or almost kidnapped and nothing too crazy happened!" Extra wtf points if Yuu had TF traits (maybe devine and animal for extra fuckery) like oh they aren't a beastman they just ate a bunch of weird shrooms wore a sick ass choker and prayed for 50+ days (Wolf + Angel TF)
I mean yes, there's some parts I'm glad you can toggle off cause holy fuck. Then again the creator said that it is a trauma simulator and the whole point of the game is that it never gets better but you can cope which is one of my fav tropes in horror. Like fear and hunger in that regard (I think abt these games a lot tbh).
Tagging this as Dark Content just in case
The lore is so fucking intense and the fact there's a potential timeloop/eldritch being trapping everyone there and influencing them is fucking WILD. The whole world is a cage designed for you and it lets you know it.
Anyways. I can imagine that Yuu comes with a lot of trauma that needs to be worked out but they are one hell of a fighter... and I imagine Crewel is the one to break the horrible teacher curse and help them heal cause he's nice. Other students think you're insane for considering him kind. They also wonder why you put up with Crowley but he is an improvement from your previous headmaster.
Students getting their asses whooped in cause Yuu had to always fight for their life and shit.
So much "this is how it should have been" or "I wish I could have met you as a better person and loved you right away but I wouldn't have been able to love you as much as I do now cause you've been by my side"
Yuu panicking over the kids at the orphanage cause they're used to looking out for them. Bonus if maybe Deuce or Ace gets in trouble and Yuu takes the blame prepared for the most heinous punishment but instead just gets some boring homework to do and it kinda breaks them.
They share horrible stories that are relatable in their world and everyone just stops.
Also the transformation things in the game imply that Yuu to an extent is a shapeshifter that changes gradually. Can you imagine if a few months into the shool year Yuu gets Fae ears, maybe some animal like claws and sharp teeth, or even gills and they're like "yeah I can do that" or maybe they even fall in love with one of the non human boys and they start changing to be more like them cause they love them <33
This game ruined me

I had a random idea at three am after seeing posts about Brunim and Forever.
***
Brunim somehow (idk how) ends up on the island and ofc he and Forever meet up and Forevers very excited his partner is back and now he no longer needed to bother Phil constantly pretending he was him, but he finds himself missing Phil.
As he and Brunim were cuddling he imagined that Phil was right there with them, preferably between them, maybe his and Forever’s faces would be marked up with Brunim’s lipstick, or Brunim and Phil’s with Forever’s, or maybe both, he could imagine it now, Phil’s face peppered with red hued lipstick. Phil would be lying on his stomach with those big void like wings wrapped around him and Brunim, maybe they would have some of his feathers mixed into their hair or made into jewelry. And knowing Brunim and his vampirey habits Phil’s neck would probably have many puncture marks from his teeth, probably some full on bite marks from Forever himself.
Any other person would have pushed those thoughts away, ignored them because they had what they wanted in the first place, no need to be selfish.
But maybe Forever deserved to be a little selfish, maybe he wanted to be a little selfish.
He brings it up to Brunim, tells him of his feelings and says he wants Phil too. Surprisingly Brunim agrees, what Forever did not know but probably should have guessed was that Brunim had been keeping an eye of Phil since he arrived at the island. The vampire watched as he cared for his son and granddaughter, watched as he interacted with Richarlyson and saw the way he was so sweet to a boy that wasn’t even his to care for.
Brunim decided he wanted him too.
***
I have no clue where my mind went, the darkish/possesiveish behavior was inspired by a drawing I saw on Twitter and thought what if I threw Philza in the mix.

Not Fair
TW - Cursing, If You Look Hard Enough Slight NSFW,
WC - 1072
AN- well here it is the long-awaited part 2 of David Shaw was paying attention! I hope it was worth the wait{ I couldn't remember if the cat was male or female- mb.. like a slight David x Asher type thing- matching word count was not intended}
It’s not fair. You should be here with me. You should be here. Smiling, laughing, and gossiping with Asher. You should be here! You should be annoying the shit out of me. You should be here. Angel.. I miss you so fucking much. God theirs so much I wish I could say..
But I'm reduced to say it right here. Over a gravestone with your name on it. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve come here. Every day is harder than it needs to be. Waking up without you in my arms hurts. My mind likes to convince me that you’re in the living room playing Minecraft.
Funny enough.. I’ve been playing Minecraft more. I wanted to see what you loved about that game so much… angel the last thing I expected to see when I opened the world biome I started on. Was an entire pack of wolves..
I would have been offended to see the name, Davey.. But now the only thing I want is to hear you say it one more time. Run my hands over your body.. Had I known..God.. I just miss you so much.. Things are so much harder without you.
I haven’t spent the night in the house since your passing. It's too quiet.. The pack has taken to watching over me. Or sleepovers is what they’ve taken to calling it. I'm not the world's smartest man. But I'm not stupid either… even when you’re not here..
Talking to you is easy. It's a bit funny.. You get to meet my mom before I ever did. Micheal stopped by earlier, he couldn’t bring himself to come to the service. And he felt bad about it.
I'm sure you wouldn’t have minded.. But he did drop off your cat.. The one I said I wasn’t going to take care of. His new partner is allergic to cats.. Originally he was going to give her to us after the trip.. But you know how that turned out.
So he gave her to me. And I’m starting to see why Milo keeps a cat. Though she’s a gremlin just like you…. Were… it’s nice having a reminder of you.. But the main reason for today's visit.. It will be the first day I'm spending the night alone back in the house.
Of course, asher is trying to come over. He wants to make sure I eat. As if he could properly cook something. The last thing I'm going to let his ass do is burn the damn cabinets again. Though he’s been the biggest help.
He’s even been getting into fewer arguments with Christian.. However, I feel that's more of them building a good relationship. But I don’t know.. I haven’t been focusing on my alpha duties. I took a break from some of the jobs. Milo and Amanda have been covering for me.
But I know I’ll have to get back to work soon. As much as I wished the world would stop so that I could permanently sit here and cry like I want to. I can’t.. I know I can’t.. I’m an alpha let alone the alpha of one of the strongest packs in Dahlia..
I’ll have to go soon..but I want to say sorry.. I know I wasn’t the best partner.. I was an ass, a prick.. Any name really. It’d probably fit. These words don’t mean much now that you’re gone. But I still needed you to hear them.
But do I remember the things you have taught me. You’ve taught me things I needed to know. Things I’ve needed to grow. Angel, you still teach me things while you're gone. Your cat teaches me things too. I brought her a bed. But she likes to sleep in our bed..
Or well mine now. I think the reason I’ve been so scared to be alone in the house is because we got it together. It was supposed to be our forever home. But without you it’s quiet. And doesn’t feel like home.. Or at least our home anymore.
Your memory haunts the place. Everywhere I go in that house. I get reminded of what I lost… what the world lost. I still remember the nights I had to force you to get off of that damn computer. You did so much for me. And yet I can’t return.. The favor… Angel something I’ve come to realize, as time passes..
Yes, I still think it’s not fair you got taken away. From the people you loved and cared about. Yes, it will be hard to live life without you. But.. what you’ve taught me is things will get better.
I will keep opening up more.. I will keep living. You will never not be on my mind. But your memory has and will make me stronger.. And the pack has my back more than ever.. Sometimes I wonder if that's the influence you had on them..
They most definitely see through my bullshit now. I know that's something you taught them.. You and Ash.. learning to accept you’re gone hurts. It hurts a lot.. But..i know things will get better. Angel.. I love you. And I always will.
David stands, brushing off his jeans and wiping the tears off his face. It was getting late and he needed to get home. His furry friend would be upset if he was late. He took one long look at the gravestone. Forget-me-nots were growing around it. He laughed a little as another tear rolled down his face. And made his way to his car. As got in the car and went to adjust the rearview mirror.
He saw a familiar face.. With a matching smile.
‘’ Good job Davey ‘’
And that moment he couldn’t help but break into tears.. And laughs. His angel would do something like this. Or find a way to do something like this. They’ve always been like that. He started the car and that face stayed for most of the ride. They even had a conversation.. Before he had to say goodbye for the final and last time.
His angel was floating with the angels. And probably telling his mom all about him. As well as gossiping with his dad. Time will heal this wound. But for now, he’s allowed to grieve.

Bendy Comics
Hehehe kicking my legs back and forth because I just read the little Bendy’s Crack-Up Comics Book and here are some of my thoughts while reading it:
Tumblr media
This image of Bendy. Tempted to make this my pfp ngl.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like the cat one, not just bc my batim toon oc is a black cat—
Also I need the goats in the main line game stat.
Also also, Boris and Alice are adorable :3
Tumblr media
Alice! Boris is dying! Alice!!!!!
Tumblr media
“I see you are a man of culture.”
Tumblr media
This one was just cute. Bendy deserves all the pies, the lil guy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, calm down there, Dr. Eggman.
“You’re too late, Bendy! I am now FORKLIFT CERTIFIED!”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alice is such a mood in this book, she’s my spirit animal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The moon comic is so strange out of context. Bendy and Alice get arrested and Boris eats the moon.
Also as for the Bendy charm line, Bendy 100% tries to max out his charisma stat in dnd and that’s canon now.
Tumblr media
He’s gonna do a crime.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Projectionist cameo? Also Spinel is in this? Neat. (I also very much need her in a mainline game plz and thank you)
Tumblr media
Just this entire page. “We didn’t wake up and choose violence… But the children did.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Edgar appreciation. He’s the littlest guy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
More Alice appreciation because she’s iconic.

I should revisit my Little Red Riding Werewolf retelling where The Wolf is a werewolf that spoke to her in human form (and therefore she trusted him) and she’s still like 7 instead of a whole young adult and therefore turns into a wolf puppy when she transforms and the woodsman (also a werewolf) takes her in. I know so many wolf facts now.

Running in the woods..
My paws hits the soft ground beneath me. I run as fast as I can and leap into the air off a cliff, I close my eyes and feel the wind through my fur as I transformed and spread my angel wings as I soar through the sky. I nose dive down below into the ocean, and crash I go submerging myself and becoming one with the ocean.

all that matters
Tumblr media
Summary: "As someone who dated him for three years, he doesn't act like that. Something is wrong and, as his ex-girlfriend, if anyone would know, it'd be me." (Or, Deuce is acting strange. Clawdeen tries to find out why. Takes place 2-3 weeks after MH2)
Notes: Hi everyone! This is my first fic in two and a half years. I'm kinda nervous about it, but also had it read over twice, so it should be all good to go. Happy reading!
Warnings: Mentions of unsupportive families, talks of mental health, and depictions of stress and exhaustion.
Word Count: 2.5k
Taglist: @spideyspeaches @goldenavenger02 @ninja-go-to-therapy @the-panwitch @rejectofsociety @lostintranslaation

Clawdeen.
Deuce is acting weird.
Admittedly, she doesn’t know him that well yet. They’ve been going out for three months, but only made their relationship official two weeks ago. Maybe it’s just her supernatural senses. Maybe she’s just smart. Either way, Clawdeen can tell something’s up.
“Are you okay?” she asks, at their weekly student council meeting. Now that she’s a prefect, she’s actually required to be there. As president, Deuce is too, although he looks like he’d really rather be anywhere else.
“I’m fine,” he replies. He pulls out his chair and sinks into the seat next to her. He really doesn’t look good. His once bright emerald orbs are now dark and dull, splashes of crimson mixed in with the whites of his eyes. He looks absolutely exhausted. His snakes, judging by how one slithers out from his beanie and tries to bite her, seem moody, too.
“Sorry ‘bout that,” he apologizes. He swats the snake away, and pulls his beanie down farther over his mop of curls. “So,” he asks, turning his attention back to their classmates gathered around the table, “what’s on the agenda for today?”
--
Heath.
Clawdeen, despite being the amazing girlfriend she is, isn't the only one to notice something's wrong.
Heath is Deuce's best friend. Him, Deuce, and Cleo go back to ghoul school, and he notices something is wrong when he's with Cleo in Phys-icks.
"Dude," he asks, his tone doubtful, "are you sure you should even, like, be here?"
Deuce, in response, jolts awake, and glares at his roommate from beneath his glasses. "Yes." He scowls. "I'm fine. Why does everyone keep asking me that?"
"Hmm." Cleo, from her seat beside Heath, taps her pencil against her chin. "I don't know, Deuce. Maybe because you look oddly like my family did, after we woke up from a thirteen hundred year sleep? That could be it."
Heath rolls his eyes. He loves Cleo’s sarcasm as much as anything else, but now is not the time for it. "Or," he says, lightly elbowing Cleo in the waist, "maybe it's because we care about you? And we literally went through something super traumatic two weeks ago, and want to make sure you're okay?"
Deuce shoots Heath a disapproving ‘really?’ glare, aiming daggers at his best friend yet again. “Okay?!” he repeats, as he slams his textbook shut. “Why would I be?! Why would anyone be?! Clawdeen literally died, Draculaura nearly got killed by witches, and I took a knife to the throat! All within the first few weeks of school starting!”
“Don’t forget Toralei almost won the prefect election,” Cleo adds in, unfazed by the emotional outburst. “That was pretty terrible, too.”
“Cleo,” Heath hisses. “Knock it off.” This was not the time.
Deuce’s eyes glow a bright green, but they aren’t the shade Cleo, or Heath, was used to. Once an intense, entrancing jade, they're now transformed, dark and stormy, and, for the first time in her life, Cleo doesn’t see her ex-boyfriend, kind and calm, behind those irises of sea green.
“Cleo,” he growls, “that is literally the least important part.”
"Deuce, Heath, Cleo— is everything okay over there?" their teacher calls from across the room.
"Yeah! Everything is fine, Ms. Ziz!" Heath gives her a thumbs up, and smiles sheepishly. Then, he glances between his best friends, and hits Deuce on the shoulder, his eyes immediately dying down. "You guys need to cut it out." He breaks up the minor fight. "Cleo, you're being απερίσκεπτος, and we don't need your snarky remarks. Deuce—" He tosses over a pair of black, stone-proof sunglasses. "We're only trying to help. You need to stop being such a snake, and chillax, man."
Deuce sighs, but catches the shades nevertheless, trading them with the ones he is wearing. Heath always keeps an extra pair handy, and he knows he can count on him. He always has his back. "You're right," he agrees. He pulls his beanie down farther, before hurrying out of the room. "I- I'm sorry, I can't be here."
"…Sooo," Cleo says, spinning around in her chair, "that was weird, right?"
"Oh, yeah." Heath nods. "No doubt about it."
--
Cleo.
Cleo knows Deuce better than anyone.
It’s not really a surprise. Before attending Monster High, they’d been dating for two, nearly three, years. She knows everything about him. She knows that he has a pet rat, Perseus, and his mom absolutely despises him for it; she knows that he’s the youngest of his family, and has six sisters; and she knows that he’s always wanted to play casketball, but can’t because he tore his ACL when he was fourteen, and it never completely healed.
Thus, she also knows when Deuce is keeping secrets.
She isn’t subtle about it. She catches Clawdeen in the library later that day, her wedge sandals click-clacking against the spiral staircase. “Clawdeeen,” she calls, sing-song, “you need to talk to your boy toy!”
Clawdeen coughs, nearly choking on her meow-cha latte. “Cleo!” she whisper-shouts. “What the Kronos?! You almost gave me a heart attack!”
“I would’ve just gotten Frankie to bring you back to life, it’s fine.” Cleo shakes her head and waves the issue away, dismissing it.
“Yeah, because that worked out so well last time.” Clawdeen glances down at the scars lining the palms of her hands. They’d been healed for a while and didn’t hurt anymore– but that didn’t mean they weren’t painful reminders of how her friends, Draculaura and Deuce, had nearly lost their lives.
They could’ve died that night.
Draculaura had nearly been killed, Zamara using her to destroy all of vampire kind, and Deuce had almost gotten his throat slit, sacrificing himself while she took on the big bad, yet again. She couldn’t keep letting them– letting him– do that, and couldn’t keep putting them in harms way. They’d endured too much, and who was she, as a leader and student representative, if she couldn’t even protect her pack?
“It still worked, didn’t it?” Cleo rolls her eyes and sits down beside her. “Anyway,” she steals a sip from Clawdeen’s meow-cha latte, “we need to talk. Deuce has been acting strange lately. He’s been falling asleep in, like, every class, and it’s something Heath and I have both noticed.”
Clawdeen raises an eyebrow. “How many classes do you have with him?” They were only halfway through the school day!
“Like, two.” Cleo shrugs. “But that’s not the point. He fell asleep in Phys-icks, and totally freaked out on me and Heath. Plus, did you even see him at the student council meeting today? He looked horrible."
Clawdeen nods. Horrible isn't the word she'd use, but Cleo was right; the bloodshot eyes, pale skin, and irritability really wasn’t a good look.
“—As someone who dated him for three years, he doesn’t act like that. Something is wrong, and, as his ex-girlfriend, if anyone would know, it’d be me.”
“Okay…” Clawdeen frowns. “Well, why don’t you talk to him about it?” As far as she knew, Cleo & Deuce were still friends. Hell, they’d known each other since middle school.
“We’re… not really on speaking terms,” Cleo explains. “Not at the moment. Our conversations are almost entirely limited to group projects and small talk.”
Clawdeen sighs. If she’s being honest with herself, she knows something was wrong, too. She just doesn’t want to admit it, because addressing the issue would make it seem real. Their relationship is still new, and she wants to keep it fresh and fun for as long as possible.
She also knows, though, that if she wants this relationship to work, she has to be honest with him. Deuce had stood by her side, helping her against Komos and Zamara, all while reinventing himself. He offered her advice on her new social media superstardom, and was one of the first monsters to actually not judge her on orientation day. If Clawdeen can’t be anything, then she can at least take Cleo’s advice and be a good girlfriend.
"Okay," she agrees, at last. “But I haven’t known him as long as you and Heath. What makes you think he’ll talk to me, if he won’t even talk to you two?”
Cleo has to resist the temptation to roll her eyes again, the words ‘because you’re his girlfriend!’ on the tip of her tongue. But she knows that wouldn’t be enough.
“Because he loves you,” she says sincerely. She remembers how anxious she felt when her and Deuce first started dating, and she suspects Clawdeen is feeling the exact same way. “You’re his safe place. I see the way he looks at you. There’s a spark in his eyes that I didn’t see when he was with me, Clawdeen.”
She hasn’t seen so much energy in his eyes in an eternity.
“And I know,” Cleo continues, “that when we first met, I liked to cause chaos and mischief.” She tucks a lock of hair behind her ear. “But you can trust me when I say I’m being honest with this.”
--
Deuce.
Clawdeen follows through with her end of the bargain; though it takes a little longer than she likes. She finally makes it out of casketball practice and fearleading at six fifteen. It's almost seven by the time she rinses herself off with a shower, and visits Deuce in his dorm after that.
She stands at the door and raps her knuckles against the wood. She remembers Heath telling her about his plans with Abbey- so it should just be the two of them tonight. Hopefully she can actually get Deuce to open up and talk to her.
"Clawdeen?" he says, as he opens the door. He's dressed in sweats and a green t-shirt, holding the knob in one hand, and a mug in the other. If that isn't strange, Clawdeen doesn't know what is. 'Deuce doesn't drink coffee,' she thinks to herself. In fact, he hates hot coffee. If he has to survive on any caffeinated drink, it's definitely iced caramel meow-chiatos. "What are you doing here?" He takes a sip from his coffee. "Aren't you guys having that sleepover with Twyla tonight?"
"Nah." She shakes her head and smiles politely. "Twyla's trying to pass her Boogeyman exam, so she's pulling an all-nighter in the library. Can I come in?"
"Y-Yeah, of course." Deuce steps aside and Clawdeen walks into the room, her claw slippers silent against the floorboards. She's never been in Deuce's dorm before, and it's so different from her own. The walls clash with tiger orange and pine-tree green, and Clawdeen can't even count how many plants they have.
'Amazon vibes,' she thinks to herself. 'Interesting.'
"Heath's an environmentalist," Deuce explains, and Clawdeen nods in understanding. She knew he was passionate about global warming and saving the rainforest; she just didn't know how extreme he was about it.
Maybe she'll talk to Heath about that next.
"So what brings you here?" Deuce asks. He places his coffee on the nightstand beside him, and the two sit on the bed together. Clawdeen makes herself comfortable, trying not to stare into his captivating emerald eyes. "You miss me or something?" He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively.
Clawdeen laughs, a glowing bright smile, and suddenly she's reminded of why she fell in love with him all over again. "Always,” she states. “But I’m here for a reason. Heath and Cleo said you fell asleep and kinda freaked out in Phys-icks today. I know we just took down Zamara, and no one’s really checked in with one another…”
“So you want to know if I’m doing okay,” Deuce finishes for her. “And I appreciate you for that, Clawdeen, but I’m fine. I processed everything as soon as we got back, and I am awesome. I’m all good to go.”
Clawdeen gives him a Look™. She doesn’t believe him, and she’s not having it. “Deuce, are you kidding? You’ve been a walking zombie all day, and you almost stoned Cleo in Phys-icks.” She grabs his hands and meets his eyes with her amber ones. “Talk to me, please. I just want to know what’s going on with you.”
Deuce takes a deep breath and sighs. He holds on to Clawdeen's hands, and his eyes drift over to the rug beneath his feet. He knows she isn't going to let this go, and he'd really rather not lie or hide things from her. That's not how a relationship works. "I haven't been sleeping great lately. I've been drinking coffee to stay awake. I keep on having nightmares about Zamara and Komos. It's not even about getting turned to stone. I just… I'm there, with a knife against my throat, and I see you lying there, on the floor with Frankie, and… I can't lose you."
Clawdeen offers him a soft smile, and wraps him in a hug. She's not a very affectionate person, but she's making an exception. She's also never had friends, never mind a boyfriend before, but she's already made up her mind; she's going to do everything she can to support and help them.
The only way to have a friend is to be one.
"Thank you for telling me," she says. "Have you… talked to anyone about it? Your moms or your dad?"
Deuce shakes his head, and buries himself in Clawdeen's shoulder. Her hoodie is so soft, and he could stay wrapped up in her arms forever. "I don't know who to talk to," he says, his voice cracking. "My moms wouldn't get it. They're already pressuring me to follow in their footsteps, and hate that I go to Monster High. They'll be so ashamed of me. I can't go to them with this."
Clawdeen nods, and holds him close. She's met Deuce's family before, and knows they aren't the most supportive. His bio mom, Medusa, is pretty ambitious. While that isn't necessarily a bad characteristic, her opinions consist of how gorgons should "never be nice," and "always succeed, at any and all cost."
Needless to say, Clawdeen isn't really a fan of her- despite how much she tries to be.
The two of them sit in the quiet for a while, Deuce silently sobbing on her shoulder. They stay there for what feels like forever, until Clawdeen is sure that he's asleep.
"Deuce," she whispers, "I am so sorry." She can't believe she roped him into helping her, and now his mental health is suffering from it. "But I promise we're going to work through this together. I'm with you till the end of the line, alright? We're going to fix this."
They have to fix this.
How is she supposed to fix this?
