Honestly Gunn and Fred are lowkey the relationship I'm striving for. Cuz like, you know the whole relationships should be 50/50. She gets to be cute and quirky and autistic and he thinks she's funny and smart, and is impressed by how much she can eat. Perfect.

Just curious are you more Fred x Wesley or Fred x Gunn or are you like you like them at different times

I'm definitely team Fred & Wesley!! I've been waiting for them to get together from the very first moment (and they also are one my all time favorite ships), but I have to say that Fred & Gunn are really cute together. I love how she managed to bring out his soft side 💛 The first time i watched the show i didn't appreciate Fred x Gunn enough cause i was longing for Fresley to happen, but i did reevaluate them later. I feel like both ships make sense in different ways, but Fred & Wesley are more alike and compatible in a way that's deeper.

Like, the thing is, Fred and Gunn is mainly an unproblematic ship. They work well together and connect on a lighter level, whereas Fred and Wesley... there's angst. Oooh, the angst. And also, I don't know if you have watched the show already or if it's the first time, but in season 4 it becomes clear that Fred has another side that's a lot more complex (and a bit darker, in a way) and Gunn doesn't get that side so well. Plus, other stuff happens in the plot and the angst that follows forever sealed it for me. I'm an angst girlie, what can i do.

AND angel and lindsey FUCKING HELL enemies to lovers (that are still enemies), homoerotic violence and weird touching in every interaction, lindsey essentially deflecting by developing feelings for who he sees as the evil female version of angel??? lindsey having a twisted one-sided obsession that could have started his redemption but instead ends up destroying him?!? his last words are “angel kills me”?!!?! PLEASE THEY ARE SO GAY

also also wesley and angel!!!!!!! developing respect. nuisance to coworkers to friends to lovers to enemies to friends again. everyone thinks theyre gay and oh wait they actually are!!

point is I need more fics of these guys because GOD they are perfect ships with so much canon content and potential for fan content and I love them very dearly
