Anesidora being like and opposite to Thaddeus in that Anesidora means "One who sends up gifts" as if to the divine and Thaddeus means "gift from the divine" in the way that a woman is like and opposite to a man. Anesidora as agency, as to be the one who gives and not the one who is given. Anesidora as another name for Pandora and Gaia and Demeter, but most especially Pandora. Anesidora as in a woman who is molded from clay and man into woman. Anesidora as someone who is seen as bringing doom and destruction by her nature, by daring to open the pithos, by being a woman. Anesidora as a name and a story that wells up out of history, uninterpretable, endlessly reinterpreted. Anesidora as in we have always been here, as in we always will be here. Anesidora as in transition is apotheosis. Anesidora as in she who held on to hope. Anesidora as in my name.
