"True crime" presenta un debate sobre la pena de muerte a través de una novela de ficción en la que un periodista trata de salvar de la ejecución a un hombre inocente. Es una novela cruda, que nos presenta una humanidad egoísta, e inmisericorde, tal y como es en realidad, y la verdad es que impacta y llega a tocar la fibra por muchos motivos. Totalmente recomendable aunque algo densa por momentos, todo hay que decirlo. A mí me ha gustado bastante, aunque hay pasajes en los que es mejor pasar por encima porque no aportan mucho. ... where we expected to see anything else change? I mean, a character who physically leaves the initial storyline, battling his own demons. Then goes back to the original tale at about the same time he left. How is it that anyone would ever expect those others (who essentially were just used as examples of his ability to be cruel) would have changed at all? They still react to him as the character he once was. They are confused about how unlike him his character is now. They react positively to his newfound heart and are astonished by its abruptness. Why would anyone be surprised that everything's the same and the only one who's changed is him?
