I find it amusing that an in attempt to make Chloe look like a bad person the writers accidentally makes her do a good thing as mayor, aka arresting the ice cream guy who has been selling food without a permit for literal DECADES

How in the name of God's green Earth do you fail to make a strawman look unreasonable?

The scene literally writes itself. Have Chloe grill Andre and try to see if he's done anything she can send him to detention for, only for him to show how certified he is (His vendor's license is up to date, the health inspector gave his ice cream a passing grade, and his cart has no safety hazards), so Chloe gives up and sends him to detention in frustration.

If you want to show Chloe as a tyrant, have her crack down on people who haven't actually broken the law.

Anyone else been thinking about how creepy Andre the ice cream man is in Miraculous Ladybug? Like, dude, why is a grown man so invested the relationships of teenagers he doesn’t know? Not to mention, the guy apparently doesn’t even have a permit to sell ice cream, so he’s probably guilty of multiple health code violations

ANDRÉ THE ICE CREAM MAN REPELLENT. JUSTIFIED HATE AHAHAHA

ANDRE ANDRE ANDRE, a character that drives more than one person crazy, because he forces couples, because many times it doesn't benefit them, etc... (everyone has their own way of seeing it) today I come to bring light to this character hahaha

Well, the hate is justified, and that's what André was designed for, to be repellent, there are characters who do, who are designed like that, if you look closely, André really doesn't want Marinette's happiness, when she doesn't do what she wants. He wants akumatization to arise hahaha and if we start to think carefully, we have to pay attention to the details of what he does.

Andre is a man who makes and delivers ice cream. Ice cream is a cold, icy sweet. Who does the topic of ice and freezing connect with? With Kagami, we have the great reference in the Froster chapter where we can see in Marinette's imagination how she laughs evilly hahaha

If they put this in the series it is for a reason, it will be something in the future, Kagami will be cold and bad... (but we will get to that in other posts), the point is that she is connected with the tsurugi and there we have been able to see What are these people about, they are really bad, and I speak in plural because there are probably more people in the clan, but clearly we are referring above all to Tomoe.

So because of that rule of three, nothing André does will benefit Marinette, and he doesn't want her to be happy, in the same way that Tomoe Tsurugi and Kagami want him in the future.

as simple as that, so if you don't like him, you have every right to throw hate at him, Andre really is bad, and he will never think about what is best for our ladybug.

Which are your most hated ML characters?

Missed the salt posts eh? But anyways:

1. Gabriel - for obvious reasons. an utter buffoon and an abusive piece of shit excuse of a father. Should be rotting in a prison cell for his crimes with Adrien rightly disowning him. The fact he gets to be remembered as a good dad and hero - complete with a statue in his honor - is a slap in the face. Forever deserved worse.

2. Lila - every time she’s on screen the characters IQs dropped 50 points and her voice is just grating to me (in that respect the VA deserves a raise). Alya not believing Marinette over her should’ve died the moment Gang of Secrets aired, and the fact that that didn’t happen is a testament to how the plot bends over backwards to make Lila a larger threat than she should be. And don’t get me started on the different identities plot or her getting ahold of the butterfly.

3. Andre Glacier - I want to throw hands with this bitch-ass ice cream man and his ��magical soul mate ice cream”. He’s so weirdly involved in the love lives of teenagers and gets so pissy when the ones he didn’t deem “made for each other” go on ‘date’. Quit being creepy and get a hobby. He also gets extra hate points for revealing Marinette’s crush on Adrien to him (as Chat Noir), 5 seasons of build up for that? Thanks, I Hate It.

4. Su-Han - unhelpful bitch

5. Bunnyx - everything about her and the rabbit miraculous was a mistake.

6. Andre and Audrey Bourgeois - shitty parents, one’s a weak enabler who spoiled his daughter rotten then chooses to keep his step-daughter over her. The other an emotionally neglectful bitch. They both ain’t shit.

Honorable mentions:

1. Adrien - with the amount of salt I have on this boy y’all knew he had to at least be mentioned. The writers kiss the ground he walks on and bend the universe to shield him from consequences for his negative behavior, instead of having him actually grow as a person. The senti!Adrien plot is maybe the worst thing they could have added to the show.

However, he’s not a bad kid. He’s not actively malicious in the ways that people like Lila or Gabriel are. But his negative behavior goes almost entirely unchecked or encouraged when the writers would absolutely punish other characters for doing the same (Marinette, Alya, Luka, Kagami, etc..) Most of my issues with him stem from narrative treatment, so I can’t, in good conscience, at this point put him above any one else previously mentioned.

2. Chloe - she was more fun as a typical bully with the potential to be better, but then she did shit like purposely almost cause a train crash to make herself look good as a hero when she’d “save it”, and later sided with the terrorist when Ladybug wouldn’t give her the bee back. And it continued down hill from there.

However, the fact that she gets disowned by her father with him choosing Zoe over her, (despite the fact that he is heavily responsible for the way she turned out for how he enabled her bad behavior) and gets sent to live away from all she knows with her emotionally neglectful mother, with the final shot we get of her crying and miserable? It still doesn’t sit right at all. The 14 year old girl being treated narratively worse than adult male terrorist will piss me off forever.

Andre the ice cream guy salt? I like to believe his "soulmate ice cream" is just a gimmick and he is secretly an ass because he loves to see people's reactions especially when it's tearing people apart.

"Andre's soulmate ice cream huh?" Lupine Alpha murmurs from her perch on a rooftop above a group of students from Ms. Bustier's class. It was her turn to patrol with Chat today and had overheard the word ice cream. "Yeah Andre gives you ice cream in the colors and flavors of your soulmate if you eat it together it's said that you'll stay together forever." Chat Noir explains coming up beside her. Lupine's ears flickered with interest. "Does he have dairy free ice cream?" She asks her big bushy wolf tail wagging behind her. "I honestly don't know but we can go check?" He offers with a shrug.

The two heroes take off in search of ice cream. Lupine voted for following her nose which while cool since Lupine did have a stronger sense of smell while transformed that could take a while and he didn't have much time till he had to get back. They ended up landing on Marinette's roof to ask her for directions since she was out and close by. Giving her a fright in the meantime and nearly causing her to fall over the railing. If it hadn't been for Lupine's whip grabbing her, she probably would have.

"Can't you two do anything the normal way?" The smaller girl asks exasperated as she hunts through Instagram for Andre's location. Ever since the wolf miraculous holder had appeared her and Chat had proven cats and dogs could get along. Quite well in fact. "Nope!" They chorus with twin sharp toothed grins. "Okay he's over by the Pont des Arts ohh hey Itsuki's over by there. Oof Andre's trying to convince him to get soulmate ice cream but Suki's trying to ignore him." She comments with a wince remembering how pushy the man could be when it came to his ice cream. "Meowch hopefully he doesn't become Glaciator again." The two females rolled their eyes at the cat.

"So, what was Glaciator all about?" Lupine questions plopping herself down on Marinette's lounge chair that she had on her balcony. Giving the wolf a look for the way she just made herself comfortable the dark-haired girl launches into her explanation on what happened getting rather worked up while talking. So, she was still a little salty about being pushed into eating ice cream just to make the guy happy when she was no longer in the mood.

“Okay that just makes me want to mess with him.” The brown clad girl with a toothy grin. “Mess with him how?” Chat questions his ears twitching with interest. “Simple you and me go get ice cream right now and act like a couple and then the next time you patrol with Ladybug you guys go get ice cream together and I'll get ice cream with my partner the next time I'm patrolling with him. And then we switch you and Corvus and me and our Lady. We could even do it as civilians bring a friend to get ice cream act like a couple and then the next time go with a different friend. It's even better if you bring the previous friend along with someone else. That will really confuse him.”

“Are you sure you’re not the holder for the chaos miraculous and not the miraculous of order?” Marinette questions briefly wondering if this was all worth the possible akuma that may come from it. “Yes, I'm sure I'm the true holder for the wolf miraculous while Corvus is the true holder for the crow miraculous. Though we did switch miraculouses once. Our kwamis made us swear never again.” Lupine's feral grin stretched across her face. “Wait, wait putting you being chaotic good aside for now you want to go get ice cream together but earlier you were asking about dairy free ice cream.” Chat mentally filed her alignment away for later. The black suited hero's words caused Marinette to hover worriedly over the wolf. “You're not allergic to milk, are you?” “No don't worry just intolerant.” The older girl says with a shrug getting to her feet.

“Your intolerant and you're still going to have ice cream?!” The cat and his princess exclaim mouths gaping. “Sure, I'll just deal with the cramps later. Anyways are we going to get going or not?” Unwrapping her whip from around her waist she flung the end towards the next building letting it pull her along with a wave farewell to the other girl. Chat Noir shakes his head bidding good day to his civilian friend before taking off after her on his baton. Sighing Marinette ducked back into her room below.

“You're not really going to let those two troublemakers go through with their plan, are you? What if an akuma happens?” Tikki questions fluttering around her head anxiously. Her phone rang before she could answer her kwami; picking up once she saw who was calling she couldn't help but smile at the slightly desperate exasperated voice on the other end. “Don't just like my post and not come help me, this guy is driving me insane. I know JJ hasn't seen my post yet or they would have liked it and come to rescue me by now.” Itsuki growls into his phone causing Marinette to giggle. “Alright, alright, I'll come save you.” Hanging up she grabbed her purse “Don't worry Tikki a big strong guy needs my help so I can keep the chaotic duo from causing to much trouble.” She explains letting Tikki inside the bag before heading out.

By the time she got to the Pont des Arts a crowd had gathered. She could already spot the superhero duo eating some soulmate ice cream while snuggling sitting on the river bank. Alya was busy filming them rather than eating her ice cream with Nino. Meeting up with Itsuki they got in line behind Ivan, Mylene, Rose and Juleka. Taking her friends hand as they approached, she gave Andre a serene smile. They were given charcoal and blueberry ice cream if not somewhat hesitantly as if Andre was unsure of the two of them as a couple.

To Itsuki's credit he didn't say a word about her holding his hand considering he's best friends with the hyperactive JJ he was probably used to it. They moved to sit along the river bank like everyone else was pausing by the mammalian heroes Marinette leaned over to talk to them. “What flavor combo did you guys get?” “Chocolate and mint.” Chat replies offering the girl a bite. “Hmm not bad.” She hummed giving them a brilliant smile.

“What about you guys?” Lupine asks tilting her head back to look at the dark-haired boy who wordlessly offered her a bite of their ice cream. No one paid any attention to Alya filming everything or Andre's disapproving look. Soulmate ice cream was to be shared between the couple not everyone. This was the third flavor combo Marinette had gotten for her soulmate ice cream.

The next patrol was with Corvus and Ladybug and ended with them getting soulmate ice cream together, strawberry and black coconut flavor combo. Luka later invited Marinette to go get ice cream where they ran into Adrien, Kagami, JJ and Itsuki. Itsuki had the bruised up older boy on his back something about him taking a dive off his skateboard. Andre was scowling at them as they turned their backs to him. Itsuki and JJ had the flavor combo coffee and charcoal. Lupine Alpha and Corvus got ice cream next with chocolate and black coconut which both thought was the best combo yet.

Marinette and JJ laughed together as they ate their coffee and blackberry ice cream ignoring the fury seaming to radiate off Andre while Adrien just enjoyed the vanilla and peach ice cream Itsuki and him got. Poor innocent Luka ended up getting ice cream with Adrien next by some chance while the silent duo of Itsuki and Kagami quietly enjoyed their ice cream. Ladybug and Lupine Alpha were the next to be spotted enjoying ice cream causing Alya to squeal excitedly. The two black suited heroes , Chat Noir and Corvus were seen later that week enjoying black coconut and mint ice cream.

The next time Itsuki went up alone instead of with someone he got chocolate coffee and peach. He scowled at Andre who had ignored his attempts to say something. “What's wrong?” Luka asked carrying his and Kagami's ice creams. “I got peach. Again.” He says in response. “Okay what's wrong with peach?” “He's allergic to peaches.” JJ explains coming up beside them with Adrien. “Oh…want to switch?” Luka offers his ice cream which didn't have peach in it. The ice cream was traded while JJ made her way up to Andre asking about dairy free ice cream which got a shake of the head from Andre and ice cream thrust at them.

“You want to get ice cream?” Ladybug asks her partner as they swing by Andre's cart. “With you milady anytime.” Chat purrs with a grin. She rolls her eyes at him with a playful huff. “Don't give me that look, I know you've gotten soulmate ice cream with Lupine Alpha before. I've seen the pictures on the Ladyblog.” She teases as they approach Andre. “Yes, and you got to enjoy ice cream with both her and Corvus just like I did. It's our turn to get ice cream together.” He states accepting the ice cream from a glaring Andre. They ran into Alya shortly after who ran up to them with her phone out.

“I wanted to ask you guys some questions if that's okay. There have been reports of the four of you heroes Ladybug, Chat Noir, Lupine Alpha and Corvus all getting soulmate ice cream with a different partner each time you're spotted. Can you tell me what that's about?” She questions holding her phone out towards them. “It was Lupine's idea she never had Andre's ice cream before and heard about his soulmate ice cream and wanted to try all the different flavor combinations. It sounded like a cool idea so milady and me joined in as well.” Chat was the one to explain between bites of ice cream. “There you have it folks our heroes are trying out all the various flavors they can get. I may try that myself next because that sounds yummy.” Alya turns the phones camera to herself before posting the video the Ladyblog.

It wasn't long after that all the four heroes had to fight Glaciator again. “Ice cream is supposed to be fun why can't we switch ice cream combos or try all the various ones? Why does it have to be all serious?” Lupine calls swing on her whip to avoid getting hit. One cataclysm and Miraculous Ladybug later Ladybug captured the akuma “Worth it?” Ladybug asks the cat and wolf, “Worth it.” They agreed as Ladybug and Chat fist bumped and Lupine Alpha and Corvus clasped forearms.

Turning to Andre, Ladybug felt slightly guilty about what they had done. “I get you take your soulmate ice cream very seriously but it's ice cream. As Lupine said ice cream is supposed to be fun. Let people get ice cream with whoever they want and let them switch flavor combos with their friends. Let them have fun with your ice cream.” She suggested softly helping the man up. “Ohh and get some dairy free ice cream options like coconut milk or cashew milk.” Lupine added in eagerly. “….aren't you allergic to nuts?” Chat Noir hesitantly asks. “Yes, but not Pecans or Cashews or pistachios for some reason. Just peanuts, hazelnuts and almonds and Corvus can't have peaches or almonds since they are related.” “Good to know.”

……….

Lupine Alpha gave a groan dropping her transformation curling up on her bed gripping her stomach. “You really shouldn't have had so much ice cream, JJ.” The little wolf kwami comments hovering over her chosen who just gave a moan of agony in response. “Leave me alone to die in peace, Accalia.” JJ whimpers.

“Adrien care to explain why there are so many pictures of you eating soulmate ice cream on Instagram with a different person each time?” Nathalie questions him as soon as he sets foot in the door. “Uhhh….”

“Kangee, feathers in.” Corvus calls once he touches down on the fire escape of his studio apartment. “You missed a great opportunity to ask about eggnog ice cream.” The crow kwami whines flying around his chosen. “It's the wrong season for eggnog, feather brain.” He growls climbing in through his window. “But Itsuki! EGGS!!”

Marinette climbed down into her room flopping down on her bed with a sigh. Her phone rang insistently as she fumbled to get it out. “Hello?” “Hey girl finally you answer.” Alya's voice sounds through the phone. “Yeah sorry was out running errands and my phone died. What's up?” “Wanna go get ice cream with me? We can get soulmate ice cream and test out the flavor combo we get.” Marinette gave a groan her head flopping back down on her pillow.

Adults in this show universe, stop trying to make 2 kids get together challenge (impossible)

Best episode would be if Marinette just snap at this people already. They pressure Marinette to get in a relationship despise not being ready to confess her love to Adrien. Instead of coming off as helping, it comes off as toxic bitch who only cares about their feelings and desires. 

Its hilarious how the adults in this show is worst then the ones we post to hate. I mean look Gaslight Gatekeep Girlboss  Blackmail Threaten Abuse (physically and mentally) Neglection Stalking Jerkass 

But yet they always view as good people. They always get away with everything. Ladybug never tells them to apologize for what they did to both her and adrien (or anyone else perhaps.)  Thomas if you want people to see how its “bad” then actually show why its bad instead of making look very normal aka normalized.  And these same adults get akumantized and expect me to be feel bad. No, I want ladybug the beat the shit of them harder then fucking brick for being a bitch. They most of the time just plain gross and don’t accept boundaries. Oh wait, that’s everyone in this show, no one accept anyone boundaries in this universe. 

Adults being obsessed with shipping the 2 main characters are extremely creepy and uncomfortable. The fact they got upset when marinette/ladybug to delete all those picture, just gross. Its even worst when its an middle aged man acting like this in the show universe. 

Its funny after they get deakumantized , they trying to fix their reputation (few) instead of apologizing. Not toxic behavior at all. 

Anyways enough ranting. I made this entirely because how harry clown got akumantized. Dang I liked the fans interpretation of how gagotor got akumantized.

I do not get the Sweetheart Ice Cream thing. He claims he can only do two flavors, and he only lists two flavors every time he makes one, but in the first episode he was in, every ice cream but Marinette’s had three different flavored scoops. And they claimed that you never knew where he was going to set up and you had to follow the clues to find him, but every single time we see him it’s on the same bridge?

I swear the show is trying to get us to actively hate André Glacier, like first he constantly harasses literal children for not dating the other children he thinks they should date and now he apparently doesn't even have a permit to sell his ice cream

The weird thing is that of all people, Marinette is the one to jump to his defense in "Revolution", even though all three times he was akumatized, it was because he wanted to kill her for doubting the gospel of his sacred ice cream (Glaciator, Glaciator 2, Elation).

Of all people, you would think Marinette would be the most against him, not Chloe.

The pet names discussion had wound up getting extremely silly. They’d all gone back to relaxing together and kind of cuddling on the big sofa. At first the only one Adrien could come up with was “Blue,” to which Luka had responded, “If you call me Blue, I’m calling you Green.” The girls had vetoed both.

Adrien had joked about Maestro, which Marinette had argued was almost as bad as Magic Fingers.

Interestingly, it was Marinette who had, with the help of her phone, come up with the winning one.

“You know, the name Luka means ‘light.’ Any ideas based on that?”

After some discussion, Adrien had come up with the poetic idea of “Firefly,” like Luka was his light in the dark. Kagami had deemed that adorable, and Luka had turned red.

Luka’s suggestions for Adrien’s nickname largely had to do with music, and while Adrien had been fond of Allegro for a cheerful beat, both girls disagreed, saying they were too niche.

“Alya’s nickname for him is Sunshine,” Marinette finally commented.

Luka smiled. “My Star, then?”

Kagami and Marinette exchanged a look as Adrien’s face heated, then said together, “Perfect.”

“I think we can still do the blue and green joke sometimes,” Adrien murmured, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.

“Can I call you MF as a joke?” Luka asked.

Adrien grinned. “Only if I can call you Maestro.”

Marinette groaned. “This is going to be ridiculous.”

“It’ll upset my father,” Adrien pointed out. “Which is the point.”

“Honestly, if they have more than one nickname for each other, it lends credence to the idea that they’ve been secretly dating for a bit. We should specify how long it’s been, of course,” Kagami added.

“I mentioned to Mari that I don’t want to eventually say it was fake, if that’s okay. If anything, we weren’t sure and decided to try dating.” He glanced at Luka.

“I can understand that. I identify as pansexual, though I rarely discuss it,” Luka said with a nod. “So I wouldn’t mind being thought to have been in a relationship with you. We can say we met when we did, on the boat, and you joined Kitty Section. And maybe we decided to go for it a couple weeks ago?”

“I have enabled the two of you to be together after fencing practice several times, then,” Kagami offered. “You have gone for juice?”

“You’ve gotten soul mate ice cream from André!” Marinette crowed. “We can make up a flavor combination.”

Luka grinned. “Green and blue, obviously.”

“Perhaps instead we should go find André once the dye is done,” Kagami commented. “It wouldn’t do to make up a fake flavor combination when we could find out for sure.”

“And you can eat it in the limo, so you’re not out in public too long,” Penny interjected. While Jagged had retired to the other room for a nap with Fang, she’d stayed with them to, as she had put it, ‘chaperone.’ “We’d rather not garner too much attention from M. Agreste this soon.”

“It’ll be another picture for social media.” Adrien hoped Luka wouldn’t get the kind of negative reaction from fans that Marinette had when fans had assumed she was his girlfriend. “I should probably check the comments on those, actually…”

“Not using your phone,” Kagami reminded him.

Marinette pulled out hers, and they all scooted closer to look.

Aside from those, there were fan reactions ranging from excited congratulations to rather ugly homophobic remarks that made him feel a bit ill to look at—especially now that he knew Mari was bi and Luka was pan.

The official Gabriel Instagram account hadn’t addressed it at all, so Adrien assumed his father was still having a temper tantrum.

A knock on the door sent them scrambling to the kitchenette, but it was the spa staff ready to rinse the dye.

When he was getting his hair blow-dried, Marinette handed him her phone again so he could see what she’d just replied.

I just hope it doesn’t make her go after you more than she has.” Adrien looked at her reproachfully. “I wish you’d told me she’d threatened you, Mari. I never would’ve given you that awful advice.”

Marinette turned red, and Kagami scowled.

“This girl threatened Marinette?” When both Adrien and Luka nodded, the girl clenched her fists. “That is unacceptable.”

“I’m okay,” Marinette whispered.

Luka settled a hand on her shoulder. “She’s hurt you, made you more anxious. I can’t help you, since I don’t go to school with you. But Adrien can.”

“Perhaps during the hour and a half that our schools allow for lunch, Luka and I can join you and Adrien,” Kagami added, placing her hand on Marinette’s other shoulder. “We can present a united front.”

“Usually I’m expected home for lunch, but as I’m engaging in teenager rebellion, staying at school to eat lunch with my boyfriend is a nice way to do that.”

“Then it’s settled,” Kagami said decisively. “We shall eat lunch together either at Collège Françoise Dupont or at a café or restaurant in the surrounding area from now on.”

The relieved smile that graced Marinette’s face was almost heartbreaking, and Adrien realized exactly how much stress she’d been under, how much he’d failed her. He took her hand, squeezing it lightly in apology.

The stylist finished with his hair a few minutes later, and after they spent a few minutes admiring the results, Marinette pulled his hood up so they could all sneak down to the limo. They found André Glacier’s location via social media, and Penny had the driver take them as close as possible.

There wasn’t a line, so they rushed out of the limo and hurried to the cart. Luka and Adrien approached first.

André greeted them like old friends. “Ah, a lovely pair the two of you make. Blueberry for the gentle heart’s tranquility, a soothing sweetness. And, ah, for you… You’ve come into your own, young man! Passion fruit for the one shining bright as the sun!”

“Would you get some with me as well, Marinette?” Kagami asked. “I would not be able to finish an entire one on my own.”

André smiled at them. “I’ve just the treat for you. Orange for the fire that burns in her heart, blackberry for her night-dark hair. A dual sweetness, with a twist, for the two of you.”

They hurried back to the waiting limo, managing to escape notice—fortunately it was an odd hour. Once inside, they took advantage of the photo opportunity with Adrien and Luka, then passed around the treats, all four of them sharing in the flavors.

“I’m glad I got passion fruit,” Adrien commented. “It’s my favorite. And all the others go so well with it!”

Kagami’s phone buzzed. “Regrettably, I am expected to return home, or I would enjoy continuing to help.”

“We’ll drop you off before we return to the hotel,” Penny told her. “It’s always nice meeting Marinette’s friends, and I’m sure Jagged will be disappointed he didn’t get to say goodbye.”

They had dropped Kagami off and just returned to the hotel when Marinette’s phone went off.

But this time it was an Akuma alert.

Given that one of the famous couples he mentions in Wishmaker is a very MLM couple and he has no trouble coming up with a Marigami combination in Heart Hunter. I think it unlikely that Andre is homophobic.

Nor does he say he CAN'T or WON'T make a Adrigaminette one, just that its trickier and then asks Marinette if she is sure about her decision after SHE is the one that turns down that option. Marinette says NO to Adrigaminette NOT Andre.

At no time has Andre REFUSED to serve Marinette, or anyone, ice cream.

She has always walked away from him.

Now to the specifics of Elation. And Andre being singleist (good word).

His schtick is "Sweet hearts" ice cream. His target customer base is explicitly people in romantic relationships. So his confusion when they show up in Elation is along the lines of wondering why someone is looking for blue jeans at Victoria's Secret. That's not what you go there for.

Then he just states what he has observed over the months of serving them ice-cream in these two personas. With the implied question of what's changed, but by his expression he is still expecting them to get ice cream. Marinette is again the one who decides to walk away.

(Also, as the only person anyone seems to be keeping Marinette's crush on Adrien secret from is Adrien why wouldn't Andre mention it in front of Chat? He is not Adrien. )

Andre is (like most of Paris) very invested in LadyNoir, a thing he acknowledges, but he has never been the one to chose to not serve his ice-cream to someone.

i don’t want to say that andre is meant to be a metaphor for homophobia because i genuinely don’t think the writers intended that, but it’s kind of wild to see fandom act like someone denying a couple ice cream is absurd and unbelievable when business actually do discriminate against couples they don’t like fairly regularly. like roast andre all you want because it’s a shitty thing to do! but it’s also a real thing that happens.
