Hi love! Could I request Morgie x Reader where she's always sticking up for Ella & Bridget even though she has other friends she always has their backs. Morgie and her have interactions like how Hook goes up to Chloe and when Uilana is running after Bridget he corners her but reader isn't scared of him since all he does is flirt and tease her. After when Uliana is planning her revenge she plots against the reader too. Uliana noticed that when Morgie went up to her she finally froze & was scared because he used his snake eyes and hissed. Reader's fear is snakes so when Uliana tells Morgie she wants him to carry out the plan (you can choose what it is) he is hesitant bc he's liked her for a while now. He's also upset bc he didn't want to scare you. He agrees to get revenge for Uliana but in reality he warns the reader while he's watching out for Merlin bc he sees her also on the lookout (helping Red & Chloe) hiding below him in a bush. They have a cute moment at the end.
If something doesn't make sense to you feel free to change it!
Morgie going AGAINST Uliana where she could catch him? As if (I love this prompt, I did have to study the scene though. Which proved harder than I thought as my gay ass struggles to focus on anything but Dara Reneé whenever she's on screen, despite what my blog may imply. But alas! It's here)
Snake Eyes
Morgie le Fay x Princess!Reader
Pronouns used: she/her/hers
Summary: lions, tigers, and bears, anything but snakes. Oh, anything but snakes
Warnings: sexual references but it's really just Morgie turning her own words against her, I think I made him a touch more peculiar than the source material calls for idk, the princess turns slightly into snow white at the end (she uses a bird to warn the other girls but it's a finch not a blue bird)
Word Count: 2.1K
Tumblr media
Her voice has always sounded sweet but right now Morgie swears it’s dripping honey. Thick as syrup with a face somewhere between seductive and scary to match the sound. He watches, knowing it would be his turn to step in soon, she was his play thing, he’d called her. Of course, if it was up to Morgie, (Y/n) would be more than just his “play thing”. But certain things aren’t up to him now that he’s a villain, they’re up to Uliana. And flirting with princesses in a genuine way is not something that she allows. He assumes he can understand such a thing. Now though, as he watches her gently grasp Uli’s chin, tilting it ever so slightly upwards so the sea witch can’t look anywhere but at her eyes, the sorcerer doesn’t understand how Uliana isn’t absolutely in love with her. How could you ever have a supernova that close and not be eaten alive by the heat of it? He slinks up behind the girl, eyes locked on her pastel nails that softly slide some of his friend’s hair behind her shoulder.
“You know, Uli,” there’s this slight tilt to her head, eyes narrowing as she smiles at the sea witch as if she’s a predator honing in on prey, “I’ve always had a proclivity for calamari. Just to warn you.” And that, that empty and hollow threat of eating his friend alive, is the son of Morgana’s cue to step in; to devolve the situation back into one that Uliana has control over. He softly lets his fingers grasp her chin from behind, tilting it to him as he looks at her soft features from over her shoulder. Morgie’s chest presses up against her back with his voice this low and slow thing, “Oh, yeah? Personally I can think of some better things for your mouth to do.” There’s this flicker of something he can’t quite place flashing through her bright eyes, the things growing wider at his words. It’s a beautiful sight really, being able to render a girl -who he swore had to be the finest of royalty this school had to offer- completely speechless. How could he not claim her for himself when every flirtation that rolled off his tongue turned her into a flustered mess?  “Please, as if I would ever consider it,” but the bite her words held for Uliana isn’t lingering in her tone. Instead it found its way into that nervous way she seemed to bite her bottom lip.
(Y/n)’s hand drops from Uliana’s cheek, the girl side stepping away from Morgie twice as quickly as he could step up to her. Backing away from them and towards her friends’ circle as the other new girl steps up to Uliana. He doesn’t even understand how Bridget and Ella managed to make her their friend. The silver tongued, hot honey drenched princess had no business being friends with sunshine itself and the peasant girl. Naveen, Aladdin, and Zellie? He could understand that. Even the hard working Tiana and Jasmine made sense by her side. So what about Bridget and Ella would ever prompt her to leave her actual friends and jump to defend them? Some selfish part of Morgie hoped that it was him, this warped need to be near the sorcerer without admitting she wanted it. A boy could dream, couldn’t he? Morgie had always been quite the dreamer, it seems this little thing was no different.
If it wasn’t for his need to please Uliana, Morgie isn’t positive he would have been able to rejoin her side instead of following after the princess. The scent of the perfume leaving his senses in a way he nearly found lonely. He wondered what it was. Some expensive sweet thing that seemed to hang around, perhaps something local from her own kingdom. Morgie assumes it will never be his place to know. And now, though the sorcerer isn’t exactly sure what they’re laughing at, he knows it’s his job to laugh along with Hook and Uliana. Forcing this evil leaning and loud laugh to slip through his lips, eyes bouncing between the girls before him as if it means anything. As if they didn’t know exactly what face they craved to settle on. This is how it’s always going to be, isn’t it? He would always be lucky to steal glimpses of her as nothing else was the serpent’s place. It never would be his place. He was smart enough to be aware of that.
So Morgie finds himself letting his eyes bounce between (Y/n) and Uliana as he watches his group's leader drop a handful of bright pink feathers into her mouth. The sea witch is so proud, face shining as she tilts her head back up with a snap. For a moment, it seems as if everything had gone her way, until the honking starts. This loud and animalistic sound that would make more sense to be coming from him than from her lips. Pink feathers sputtering out of her mouth while the princess of his affections watches in near delight. A giggle escaping the girls lips, the sound somewhere between shock and enjoyment. It was beautiful, and if his loyalties weren’t required to lie with Uliana, he might have even allowed himself to bask in it.
Instead, he turns back to Uliana, head tilting as he studies the transformation. What was happening to her? Flamingo feathers weren’t necessarily something his mother dealt with often; meaning they weren’t something that he was all that familiar with. But if she was transforming into something, lord only knows what all would happen to her. So Morgie did the only thing he knew to do, he steps forward and nearly wrestles the jacket off of her arms, best to not let the sea witch’s favorite article of clothing get destroyed in whatever was happening to her. Her struggle against the spell sends the boy to the ground, his lips pursing as he stares up at her. Not that he gets to look at her for long before Uliana lunges for Bridget. At their notice of it, (Y/n) and Ella both snatch one of the pink princess’ arms, dragging her away from the enraged half-flamingo half-sea witch that made it her goal to attack their sunshine infused friend.
He’s the next to take off, running after the four girls with Hook and the two new girls hot on his heels. What on Earth was the princess thinking? There was no reason for her to run away from Uliana like that, everyone knew she wasn’t scared of her. And yet, there he found himself, chasing the girl he silently longed for down, reaching out to grab her arm and spin her against a wall. The motion successfully stopping her from protecting her friend from his own. “Morgie, move,” she goes to push him and he hisses, letting his eyes flash from his own hazel ones to golden iris with slits where his rounded pupils should go. The new form makes his eyes block out everyone but her, taking in the way her eyes widen. Morgie doesn’t think he’s ever seen her shrink down before, not to him at least. Had he scared her? Snakes, huh? Of course a natural part of him would be the thing that scared her. His eyes drop back to his normal state, peripheral vision returning to it’s full abilities as he hears a splash come from behind him.
Morgie turns and holds his arm out to keep the princess behind him against the wall and out of the way once he realizes the splash came not from Bridget falling but from Uliana. He’d learned his lesson about her falling in the water while she was angered already. The rough and red welts from her larger tentacles hitting him had lasted for nearly a month; there was no way that he allowed something like that to happen to (Y/n). But as Uliana comes up coughing, not with tentacles but with legs, he allows his body to relax, taking in the sight before him as she gets up. She pulls herself from the fountain screaming and as his friend gets up he turns his head slightly over his shoulder, hoping Hades won’t hear him. “Don’t go through the hallway I came out of, sneak around the back wall and go through the other one. I don’t want you in the crossfire.” She grabs his bicep slightly, steadying herself with a nod she knows he can’t see, but the girl listens.  And that is a win enough for him, god is that a win enough for him.
                                            ੈ✩‧₊˚
He could understand planning to get revenge on Bridget, she’d been the one to bake the cupcakes. But why did (Y/n) have to be in the mix? Was laughing that big of a crime when so many others did too? And why did Hook have to open his fat mouth about the way Morgie finally made the girl coward down? It wasn’t fair, especially not with what Uliana and Hades had decided to do to her. Turning her hair into snakes? It was too far, much too far. He regrets ever telling her what he did. Not that Hades fully saw it, no, he was the one who painted her fate. What a villainous move that was. To make it worse, Uliana wanted him to be the one to cast the spell, and after asking her to dance no less. Morgie knew that he never had a chance, but this would kill everything. (Y/n) would hate him until the day he left Merlin Academy if he did that to her. No more daydreams for him, oh no, her face would hold nothing but anger when she looked to him. He can’t tear his mind from the thought as he sits in this stupid tree, face as sour as his mood. Until he hears the whispering. The sound being followed by a finch flying up from the bushes below him and towards Merlin’s office just seconds after his friends finally disappeared from his sight.
Morgie knew well enough that there was no way finches would just be flying around this late at night. He was also well aware that there was only one princess in the school who liked to deal with birds. “(Y/n)?” His voice is soft, peering down into the bushes below him where he notices a small amount of her hair peeking out through the  leaves. Her name is met with a soft hiss of breath that he nearly misses, the girl slowly turning to look up at him. “Are you,” she pauses, standing up and stretching her probably strained muscles, “You weren’t supposed to hear me.” It makes him laugh, the boy climbing down slightly so he’s barely above her, “Even if I didn’t hear you, the bird made it obvious.” She bites her lip, looking away from him and back over her shoulder where her bird companion had fled to. “Did it really?” Now his lip is between his teeth too, eyes casting over the girl, “Yeah, it probably wouldn’t have caught anyone else off guard though, I just- I don’t know, I just pay attention I guess.”
The princess smiles at him now, face full of this odd wonder that he wasn’t used to. “Hey, uh, I’m sure that you aren’t or maybe you’re already going with Uliana or something, but are you going to the dance tomorrow night?” And in that moment, Morgie’s world stops. Of course this would be the moment that he found out he wasn’t fully wrong about the girl trying to get close to him. Why wouldn’t the universe give him this perfect shot to have her exactly when he was set to ruin her? It wasn’t fair, god this life he chose wasn’t at all fair. He finds himself playing with his fingers as he forces his eyes to meet her’s, “I am, but you shouldn’t go. Uliana has this awful prank planned for you and Bridget and I can’t let that happen to you, (Y/n). You have to promise me that you won’t go.” She pauses, face somewhere between adoration and fear, it’s this absolute wonder of a thing to behold. Then against all odds, she smirks, letting a hand find his leg as she steps forward. “Well, if you don’t want me to go, I guess you’ll just have to make it up to me by taking me out on a date, won’t you?” And now it’s his turn to be a mix of terrified and adoring. Uliana would just end him, he knows she would, but Morgie can’t help it. When would he ever get a chance for something like this again? “How about brunch on Sunday?”

7 for LiS, ship of your choice.
god i went through like 3 drafts of this bc i’ve got a lot to say about trust as a theme in my lis ships, i guess. in the interest of finishing something in one sitting, i went w something simple.
“Just trust me,” Chloe says, fingers brushing the underside of Max’s wrist as she withdraws her grip.
“I’m just,” Max can keep the tremble out of her hands (for now) but not quite her voice. She cuts herself off with a sharp breath, counts a beat in her head, then two, then three and let’s herself continue, steadier. “I don’t wanna mess up. Or-or hurt you...”
“You won’t. Max, this isn’t, like, my first time.”
“It’s not?” This is news to Max, who had never exactly pictured Chloe having done this, like, a lot.
“No. I mean, the first time, I did it myself. And then, later, Rachel...”
“Oh.”
“Yeah, I’ll show you pictures later. But, like, point is, you can totally do this.”
“Yeah, Max,” Rachel pipes up through a mouthful of smoke someplace behind them. Max twists around to see her sprawled languidly on the floor, one hand propping up her head, the other holding a joint to her lips. She smiles that lazy, hungry smile that turns Max’s stomach to butterflies, and nods toward them. “I already got her like, 90% of the way there. You just need to finish her off.”
At this, Max blushes again, all the way up to her ears and turns back to Chloe, who flashes her a grin.
It’s not like Rachel watching makes this any easier. Especially not now, not knowing that she and Chloe have already done this before. That Rachel and Chloe are both going to be able to tell if she’s doing it wrong, if she fucks it up.
“Max,” Chloe says, voice low, pitched just for her.
When she meets Chloe’s eyes this time, they’re bright and full of love, that sharp twist of her mouth has faded to something gentler, more tender.
“Look, you don’t have to,” Chloe says, soft and Max knows she means it. ”I didn’t think it’d freak you out and--”
“No, it’s okay,” Max says, tightening her grip on the handle of the device, adjusting the angle of her hand. She slides the power button on with her thumb and the buzzing in her hand matches the buzzing of her nerves. But Rachel’s eyes on her back are warm and confident. And Chloe’s shoulder under the palm of her other hand is familiar, a little sweat-damp, totally relaxed.
The first pass of the clippers shears off a wide swath of light brown hair. Logically, Max knew this would happen, but she can’t help the way she yelps and jumps back a little.
Chloe laughs and swipes an arm out behind her until she grabs first Max’s ass, then her hip, and drags her back closer. “Max, relax, it’s literally impossible to fuck up a buzz cut.”
“You say that, but what if I’m the first?” Max mutters, letting out a deep sigh and gamely sliding closer to Chloe, who squeezes her hip again in response. “Stop squirming.”
“Stop sliding away from me,” Chloe says, still facing away but Max can hear the pout in her voice.
“Shut up,” Max says, leaning her whole body into Chloe’s back, taking momentary advantage of her height advantage while Chloe sits on a stool in her backyard, to press a wet kiss to the side of Chloe’s head.
It relaxes them both. Chloe settles back into her seat, hands folded obediently in her lap and Max resumes her work the the clippers, more prepared for the results on her next pass.
It’s nice out, still early enough to not be too hot, but late enough for the neighborhood to feel alive. There’s birds chirping, and, down the street, the sound of kids playing in their yards, the distant spurt of lawn sprinklers, and the low hum of calm traffic.
The world gets smaller. Just this backyard that she spent half her childhood in. Just Rachel on a beach towel on the concrete behind them, sunning herself and humming along to a Jane’s Addiction song on the radio. Just the clippers in her hand, Chloe’s head rolling pliantly on her neck when Max tips her this way and that with the gentlest suggestion of her fingers. The bead of sweat that rolls down the side of her neck that Max surprises herself by wanting to lean forward and catch with her tongue.
It doesn’t take all that long before she’s done. Rachel had done the work of cutting Chloe’s hair short with scissors before passing the clippers to Max and asking her to finish the job. Max slides the power off on the clippers and finds herself almost disappointed to end the peaceful limbo they’d drifted into. Feels herself suddenly sentimental about the surprising tenderness of the moment, this new way for Chloe to put herself into Max’s hands and say: I’m yours, I know you’ll take care of me.
Max sets the clippers down, grabs a clean washrag from the pile they’d brought out and tips about half of her water bottle onto it. She doesn’t rush, dragging the wet terry cloth across Chloe’s scalp and neck, cleaning up the stray hairs that have fallen.
Chloe shivers and makes that little sound in her throat that Max loves, that one that’s almost like a purr, leaning back into Max’s touch. “Feels good.”
And this time Max doesn’t stop herself, drapes the washrag over Chloe’s shoulder and leans forward, wraps her arms around Chloe’s front and dips her head to kiss Chloe’s neck, her jaw.
Chloe’s hand immediately cups the back of Max’s head, weaving fingers through her hair, tugging just a little. Encouraging.
And it’s an awkward angle but Max pulls back, tilts Chloe’s face to hers and meets her halfway.
Chloe’s kiss is bright, brilliant sunlight. It’s summer, warm and open, on Max’s lips and under the pads of her fingers.
It’s the smell of chlorine and fresh cut grass and the buzz of hair clippers and the chime of a distant ice cream truck and waves of heat rolling off the pavement and days so long and wide open they feel endless.
Max pulls back, lets Chloe swivel in place until she’s dragging Max down into her lap, kissing the laughter right out of her mouth. Max runs her hands through the short prickly hair along Chloe’s scalp. “Wow.”
“Wow,” Chloe grins, kissing her again, hungry.
“I did that,” Max murmurs, fascinated with the sensation of Chloe’s shorn hair against the skin of her palms. “I can see your ears.”
She drags her fingers down the shell of Chloe’s ear, to toy with the lobes gently, delighting in Chloe’s answering shiver, the renewed eagerness of her kiss at the sensation.
“Not so bad, huh?” Chloe mumbles into Max’s mouth and then pulls back to grin again. “How do I look?”
“Not bad at all,” Max agrees, cupping Chloe’s head again. “You look good, Chloe. Beautiful.”
There’s something shyer, sweeter in Chloe’s next kiss. Max is grateful to receive it, teases it out gently between them. The sun beats down, rays falling into them, and Max knows that together under skies like these they will grow and grow and grow.

BE MORE CHILL LONDON
My brain was very bad at processing things that day but seeing the show on Saturday was honestly the best experience of my life and here's why:
First of all: Joe Iconis was sitting two rows in front of me.
I was freaking out a little and my friend was laughing at me but I didn't want to annoy him so I tried to chill
But then he was standing behind us in line for merch (he was buying a whole bunch of his own merch which was kinda funny) and some other people talked to him so I did too and I'm not entirely sure what I said to him but he was SO nice and then I got a picture and... yeah I was just really happy.
Now to the show:
The set was incredible. Absolutely amazing.
The screen was used so perfectly and made everything seem like a videogame, honestly.
It was basically the only set. The only furniture they had was a desk for Jeremy's room, chairs for the school and some other minor things (I have to say it did seem a little bit empty at times and I wish that would have used a bed at least - didn't make sense to me that Jeremy falls asleep at his desk - but I'm probably just too used to the Broadway set)
More Than Survive was SO good! Scott puts so much emotion in his portrayal of Jeremy... I can't really describe what exactly he did but something about his Jeremy felt so real and yeah I might have cried a little... (I honestly think he’s my favourite Jeremy so far)
Also: Blake's Michael is very different from George's but in such an interesting way. I loved him the second he entered the stage. He really did capture the "Doesn't care about what anyone thinks, but deep down he does a little" - Energy.
Play Rehearsal was.... wow.
Miracle's Christine had no chill. At all. She was so unbelievably weird and quirky. (Also, she seemed much colder / not interested in talking about anything except theatre and when she didn't want to talk about something she was really showing that by acting uninterested... I thought that was an interesting take that definitely worked for the character) Every normal person would have been a little freaked out by her energy during the song probably but Jeremy was just staring at her the whole time with heart eyes it was really cute.
Favourite part was how Jake said: "Rich is doing it cause he's MY BOI!"
Squip Song was great, his VOICE!! WOW. I love James's Rich. Like, you could really see that even though he's the school's bully, there's something underneath that's not right. Everything he did felt very forced and I loved it (also, I told James at the stage door that Rich is my favourite character and that made him really happy apparently)
Now that I am thinking about it, I think they changed that scene a little and Rich didn't pee (so that conversation was missing) but that was probably due to the set bc the toilets were just projections on the screen so it would have been weird if he pretended to pee on the screen 😂
Also really loved the use of the screen during that whole scene, it was flashing and glitching when Rich's Squip was acting up
They brought back the bean bags for Two Player Game!!
The staging for this was so cool because at the end when Jeremy and Michael were dancing the screen made it look like they were the characters in the game (but differently than on Broadway) and I loved it (I'm sorry I'm really bad at explaining this)
Also, Blake's 'Is it really true, I'm your favourite person' was so funny, he did like a model pose or something and was sliding off the bag.
Scott was basically sitting on the floor the whole time because he somehow didn't manage to properly sit on that bag
Also, I think they changed the dialogue about Jeremy's mum a little bc when Michael asks him if he's heard from her Jeremy said "A little" and I'm pretty sure he didn't say that before
I feel Blake's Michael is that kind of person who's really bad at expressing how he feels... like, you could see in his face that he didn't like Jeremy's idea about going to the Payless and that he was genuinely scared about being too uncool for Jeremy afterwards but he really tried to say the "will u be to cool for... videogames" kinda jokey and yeah I'm overanalysing but I loved it
One thing in general: Everyone seemed really young on stage, definitely much younger than the Broadway cast. Especially Jeremy and Michael. I really believed that they were teenagers!! And I really love that.
Scott was fidgeting a LOT with his hands and I feel like that was very in character for Jeremy. I thought so often that he would drop things.... (like the money in the scary stockboy scene.. it took him so long to give it to Michael)
Jakes favourite restaurant is Pizza Hut now
When the Squip was activated Scott was screaming and rolling across the entire stage and it would have been funny if it didn't look like he was actually in pain
Because the stage was different the Squip had to walk on for his entrance and somehow that was incredibly funny to me but I can't explain why
Stewart Clarke. Holy shit. I'd totally swallow a supercomputer if it looked like him! I loovveeed his take on the role. I've seen interviews with him where he was talking about how he has to think of so many weird questions like how does a computer act, does it feel, how does it feel etc. And I really saw that he was thinking about those things. At the beginning his Squip was very robot-ish, simply focused on making Jeremy cool, without any secret plan or anything. But throughout the show, the Squip clearly evolved and became more... human, I guess? Like it was showing more and more human traits/emotion which peaked in The Play (later more on that)
In conclusion: I loved the Squip so so much
Squip: "Everything about you makes me wanna die!"
Jeremy: "Uhhhhhh this is intense!!"
The Brooke/Chloe scene in the mall was so funny and the part where the Squip tells Jeremy what to say (u know, in bmc pt.1) might have been my favourite part of the show. Scott looked so awkward and confused by everything but he did his best to mirror the Squip (they did identical movements the whole time which I don't remember from Broadway but my memory is shit so...)
Millie's Chloe was so over the top I love it.
They changed the dialogue a lot here, so that there's no mention of Madeleine at all so Chloe wasn't pissed or anything (I'm not sure if I like that) Jeremy just said something along the lines of "Oh you wouldn't know her because she's French" and that's where Brooke picks up her trying to speak French- thing
I THINK (not 100% sure tho) that Millie said "Jeremy?" Instead of "Jerry" At the beginning of that scene and that Scott was a bit confused for a second but he just continued with "It's Jeremy" and then Millie had to duck away because she was laughing (but maybe she did say it right and was just laughing at Jeremy in character idk)
I loved how Eloise's Brooke was so awkward. From the second that Jeremy noticed her she tried SO hard to impress him and it didn't work very well but it was so cute. Chloe tries to show her the whole time what to do but that doesn't make it better.
During Do you wanna ride, Jermey got so scared of the girls that he climbed onto the table with the t-shirts (actually now that I'm thinking about it he was climbing on things a lot)
Guy That I'd kinda be into was so cute!! I never particularly liked that song but Miracle somehow gave it a very different flair and I loved that. They changed the staging a bit and there weren't other people with hearts (there were hearts on the Screen) but at one point Rich was coming on stage with a helium heart balloon for like a second and then he disappeared again 😂 that was a bit weird but...
now lets get to the Act 1 Finale which was SO GOOD
Okay, so they changed it up quite a lot: After the whole "Eminem is dead?!" The Squip tells Jeremy that Brooke likes him (and Christine doesn't, yet) and Jeremy is so shocked that he turns to Brooke and says "You like me?" And she's like confused but nods and he's like: "Why???" (I loved that, Scott delivered that line really funny) and then Brooke explains the whole thing with Chloe, that she always gets noticed first etc. (That whole scene was really cute Jeremy and Brooke really seemed to actually like each other and I was really able to relate to Brooke - good Job Eloise!)
Then Brooke starts singing the "I'm tired of being the person that everyone thinks that I am" Jeremy repeats it and then she starts Upgrade with the tres magnifique bit. It's like on the OBC until Jake's and Christine's part. They do their verse but run off after "Gotta get an upgrade" (Miracle was singing this up the octave which sounded SO cool) so they didn't have their conversation about Jake's parents (I did miss this a little but I get why it was cut) and then Jeremy ran back on stage followed by the Squip (you can see in Stewart's performance that he's already much more persuasive in a human way than before) who starts to sing the aggressive "C-c-c-come on Jeremy can't you see we got a plan, now be the man..." From the original cast album (I loved this SO much). Everyone came on to sing the "Christine" part in that and was surrounding Jeremy. He then shouts "Arghh too many voices in my head" the Squip leaves, Michael comes on, they do their "Jeremy that's amazing" dialogue, the Squip explains optic nerve blocking and says that he has to cut Michael off if he wants to be popular (Squip: "Cut your ties... or you'll both drown" I remember that because it sounded so unbelievably dramatic), Michael asked "Are you coming" and leaves the stage for Jeremy to sing Loser, Geek, Whatever.
I loved all of that so much because Scott puts so much emotion into this song, it nearly made me cry!! He really conveyed Jeremy's inner struggle without making him look like an asshole, more like a stupid kid that's going to make a really stupid decision
The second verse and chorus of LGW were cut (the "Dad taught me follow your instincts..." part) which I really liked (I never enjoyed the chorus of this song tbh).
"THE PROBLEM HAS ALWAYS BEEN.... .... me" the way Scott sang that truly broke my heart.
AND THEN (Loved this SO SO MUCH) after "ever agaaiiiiinnn" He went straight into that part that I guess you could call an Upgrade reprise from the Original Cast album ("And I wasn't sure before but now I wanna go all the way and more so give me that upgrade" etc.) AND it tied in so perfectly with Michael then asking again "Are you coming" and "Optic nerve Blocking on" and as much as I loved the "I'm tired of being the person that everyone thinks that I am" chorus, this was SUCH a great way to end act one, I might even prefer this.
I just love how they mixed in the old parts from this song that I was really missing on the OBC.
When the Squip came out in his first dress (is it a dress?) Costume people were cheering, loved that. (I mean that costume IS gorgeous and Stewart Clarke looks absolutely fabulous in all the costumes)
That was Act 1!! (I am so sorry if you actually read everything up to this point...)
Act 2
Halloween had such an amazing energy!!! The dances!! Ahh
At his "I don't have a machete but a loaf of bread will do" line, James threw the bread up in the air but didn't catch it and just hit his head as he went to pick it up as if he was blaming his Squip (not sure if that was supposed to happen but I loved it)
I loved how the Squip joined the dance, it looked so fancy with his costume 😂 I know he did this on Broadway too and I never really understood why (the others can't see him after all) but there it kinda felt like it was hinting at the fact that the Squip was becoming more human-ish??? (I'm definitely overthinking this) Like he was having fun maybe??? Idk
Millie's Do you wanna hang was so hilarious!!!
Like I said they didn't have a bed so she was just dancing around him (which looked good but I missed a bed here tbh) and they added a bit of dialogue (I think, maybe it was in the Broadway version) where Jeremy asked her "Are you jealous of Brooke??" And she was like "I'm not jealous I just don't understand why everyone likes her and no one likes me." (Or something like that) and the way Millie delivered that line really gave Chloe a whole lot of character depth. She sounded so heartbroken, I just wanted to hug her.
When the Squip shuts off (it looked really funny), Stewart just trust-falls backwards off stage and someone has to catch him and I was just thinking what if whoever catches him forgets about it??? 😂😂 (No seriously, dear catch person, don't forget this, ever... we need him as a Squip)
And now, the moment we have all been waiting for. MITB
Ahhh I was having so many feeling during this scene. I already told you that I love Blake's Michael and I really loved how rational and smart (?) He sounds in the scene before the song compared to Jeremy who kept insisting that the Squip isn't bad.
They added a bit of dialogue here too I think, because Jeremy said something along the lines of "You said technology isn't dangerous-" "Yeah unless someone uses it like you do!" (Something like this), really loved that as people somehow keep insisting that this is a show about the dangers of modern technology (It's definitely not).
Blake and Scott both did such an incredible job in this scene (and overall obviously), you just knew something bad was about to happen...
At the "Leave me alone" (not sure if that's what he's saying) line Jeremy steps reaaalllyy close to Michael (like there noses were almost touching close) and he looked so intimidating towards Michael and Blake sounded actually a bit scared when he says "Or you'll what?"
Then they just stand there for some seconds, not moving, before Jeremy says the "Get out of my way, loser" and Scott says this with so much hatred, my heart was actually hurting. Michael then just steps away and he looked sooo sad I almost cried.
MITB was absolutely amazing. Again very different than George's version but with just as much emotion and Blake's voice was sooooo beautiful, I can't!!
He sang the last "Michael in the Bathroom by himself" a bit different (can't really describe it but the note on "bath" was higher than usual? I don't know much about music sorry) and I loved loved loved that
The scene with Christine and Jeremy was so sweet. They were so unbelievably weird, I love them.
When the costumed person between them leaves, Christine pulls Jeremy across the stage by his legs and places them on top of hers (like in the promo pic) and it looked so cute!!
After that when Rich comes on and says the "I'll burn you out" I was soo sure somehow that there used to be a voiceover of his Squip but I can't find it anywhere so idk I'm confused... But it's definitely not there anymore.
Smartphone Hour. Holy shit, that was SO good. Renée Lamb's voice OMG!! Absolutely incredible.
(I just had to notice once again how much I hate the costumes in this scene... like the colours are great but what teenager wears THAT to sleep???)
The screen was so cool here again!! It obviously showed Jenna's selfie with the house (which I want printed to hang on my wall tbh) and then at the end it was full of fire that changed its colour and all of that was so fitting for the colour scheme!! The entire set design is just so incredible.
Also, Brooke is eating a banana when Chloe calls her and when she tells her about the fire Eloise just yeets it across the entire stage
They all looked like they were having so much fun!!
Back to Jeremy: For the scene with Mr Heere, Scott was switching back to total asshole mode... Internally I was like "Uhh that little shit" but yeah, great acting!!
I LOVE the pants song! It's so underappreciated!
The "You're burning incense" line got a lot of laughs
"Say it like you're in the army!"
"NO, SERGEANT, SIR!!!" *salutes*
Loved that
Pitiful Children was actually SO intimidating!! The use of the screen here and in The Play was almost overwhelming but like in a good way, I really felt the seriousness of the situation.
Again great acting skills from Scott and Stewart. Jeremy was so torn between giving in and knowing that it's wrong and the Squip really felt humanly evil at this point.
Renée Lamb's riff!! Omg! She did it very different than in the press videos but it sounded so cool!!
Also, I felt so bad for Jenna. Her "No one's ever asked me that before" really hit me.
"Michael makes an entrance!!!!!" was perfect, I love Blake!
The fight between Jeremy and Michael looked SO violent 😂 at one point towards the end Jeremy punched him and he was just lying there on the edge of the stage for some minutes and only woke up to join everyone screaming at the end.
I loved how everyone acted when they were squipped!! They were very obviously not themselves.
Especially Christine was acting very very differently. Her voice sounded completely different and you could see that Jeremy made his decision to give her the mountain dew red the second she opened her mouth.
Jake's "God I love me!" Was just really wholesome. He sounded so surprised about that.
They didn't have the "My Squip says I can go all the way to Broadway" :((( but I can live with that...
The part where the Squip “Died” was SO good!!! This was really the moment where the Squip felt very much like a human being. He was screaming and begging and sounded actually terrified. His acting here was absolutely incredible. I almost, almost felt bad for him a little.
Also, the projections were amazing, it looked like the screen shattered when the Squip died.
Again, one thing that really bothered me: What kind of hospital doesn't have beds??? Jeremy and Rich were just sitting in wheelchairs which was fine but like... Why no bed???
I loved James' acting in this scene!!! He was a COMPLETELY different person and everyone noticed that right away. Even without the l lisp, you would have noticed simply by the way he was talking. James really did a great job with Rich!!
His "I'm totally bi now!!" Sounded so surprised and got a lot of applause.
Voices in my head is my favourite song and made me cry 😂
Christine's Squip is now Greta Thunberg!!!!
I loved how Jeremy was totally his old self again when he was talking to Christine. He was stammering and fidgeting with his hands a lot and only managed to bring out the "Bowling Alley performance art?" Because Christine kept encouraging him which was so cute. If there are somehow still people out there who think that their relationship is underdeveloped they should watch this version.
The kiss was so cute!! Miracle and Scott have amazing chemistry!
I really think that's all I have to say... It's a lot I'm sorry 😂😂😂 just had to write those thoughts down.. I hope it makes a little sense I was a bit sick in the last few days so excuse me if anything's worded in a weird way...
I loved it so so much and I'm so happy they got the well-deserved extension! I'm definitely going again sometime soon 😊😊

S1E1: The Competition Begins
okie dokie first ever episode of dance moms rewatch starts now :0 i actually remember watching this the very first time it aired on lifetime because i was channel surfing and saw a commercial for it earlier that day. that was the summer between 8th and 9th grade. ah memories... i didnt know what to expect because i did dance when i was a kid but not on a competition team and it was mostly ballet so i was pretty unfamiliar with this whole world.
anyway lets begin. this is probably gonna be a longer post than what i’ll end up writing for the other episodes in season 1 bc the first episode introduces so much info, just a heads up
Act 1: (aside: yes its insufferable to divide this into “acts” when its really just like “segments separated by commercial breaks” but thats how they’re called in actual tv scripts so im just going with that cuz i cant think of a better/easier way uwu)
god this is so fucking early 2010s lmao
i miss these days where they were just talented nobodies from pittsburgh on a low budget reality tv show that nobody even knew would be successful. and the bad hair and makeup but idk if that was also just a 2011 thing lol
THE REAL HOUSEWIVES GREEN SCREEN INTROS IM DYING
the chalkboard !!!! they werent doing the pyramid on the mirror yet
(apparently abby never did anything similar to the pyramid thing but the producers made her and it became a whole Thing on the show and thats why the moms were like wtf is this bullshit the first week)
mackenzie looks like a toddler. chloe is so tiny. theyre the 2 who changed the most physically over the course of the show
i remember watching this for the first time being used to ballet lyrical and jazz but never having done or really seen acro/gymnastics in dance choreo and being SO flabbergasted. i was thinking “a chin stand is not dancing what the actual hell” and yknow what? i was right
melissa: “my boyfriend knows how much i spend on dance because he signs the checks...............hermehhemrherrmehermh” (the most awkward laugh omg)
maddie is wearing a fucking bumpit in her hair i cannot
melissa deadass just said out loud “im here for my daughter im not here to make friends” ok everybody mark that one off on your catty women’s reality tv show bingo card!
camera man accidentally getting in the shot filming right in front of the huge wall-mirror.... what is this, amateur hour? i’ll let it slide since its the first day of filming rehearsal but step it up, boys
aw i forgot about maddie getting sick and crying :/ poor kid
melissa saying “i cant stand a chid that’s sick” sounds so edited like the intonation made it seem to me like they just cut her off mid-sentence i love lifetime
oh this was still when they were wearing normal stuff to class/rehearsal like black leotards bc they werent getting sent a trillion crazy 2-piece dancewear outfits for free yet bc they werent famous, man those were the days
Act 2:
[obligatory b-roll footage of downtown pittsburgh]
the maddie chloe paige trio !!!! this is making me feel so nostalgic
“knees together, paige. you’re bow-legged, you need to fix that”
“you’re tall, you’re skinny, you’re a beautiful girl, you can do better than this. FOCUS” shes like 10 abby what the hell
“people think im tough and i guess i am but i would rather be the one to make your kid cry in the privacy of my studio than at an open-call audition in front of hundreds of people”
okay unpopular opinion alert: i agree with a lot of what abby says about stuff like this but her delivery is flawed, to but it euphemistically, that being said i think the production team of the show and the fame inflating her ego changed all of this somewhere over the course of the second season and its really sad to see :/ i can expand on that thought later tho
aw paige crying bc abby correcting her (but not saying anything personal or out of line, just technique corrections (at based on what we were shown, we dont know everything she said oop)) shes a sensitive kid she never should have been put on this show :(
paige looks exactly like her mom i didnt realize that before
nia and holly were done so dirty throughout the whole series in terms of the narrative the producers set up about nia being the weakest link :/
Act 3:
cathy’s entire involvement in the show from the very beginning was so painfully obviously scripted (or at least heavily staged)
vivi was also done dirty by the show’s narrative and she was only 6 and they presented her as like the butt of the joke bc her mom’s “character” was crazy and also she wasnt good at dance. i wonder how she feels about the show now that shes a teenager hmm. she really seemed not to give a fuck about dance for better or for worse when she was a kid tho so maybe she doesnt care ?
in what universe would an owner of another competitive dance studio bring her own kid to another studio more than an hour’s drive away, AND be under the impression that she could compete with them in a week, especially when they showed the kids’ and moms’ shocked reaction at the start of the episode to having to learn a dance in a week and compete it? like really what is the point of cathy and vivi being a part of this show im so ????
Act 4:
THE MINISTER DAWN OUTBURST HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT THIS
this fight is about 50% of what got them a full season 1 and then things took off from there tbh. the other 50% was the electricity dance but thats a point for next episode..... :)
“you’re a minister act like one” “YOU’RE RIGHT I AM A MINISTER! LET’S PLAY THE BIBLE GAME ABBY, WHEN JESUS SAW THINGS THAT WERE WRONG HE WENT AFTER THEM, AND YOU’RE NOT GOING TO DO THIS TO MY KID” ma’am i think the wrongs jesus addressed were of slightly more importance than a preteen being told she cant take a dance class if shes violating the studio’s dress code
this is so good bc it wasnt staged afaik and there are regular students all throughout the building just STARING at them like lmao what even is going on, so im pretty sure this is real???
regardless, yeah dont wear socks and a tshirt to an acrobatics class, thats common fucking sense
another cameraman-in-mirror sighting, but its hard to think about angles when filming spontaneous drama like this, so i wont count it against them
“you called me fat” (i remember that being in the episode but thats not on the episode available through lifetime on demand that im watching from my moms tv hmmmmmm) “i told you to close and tuck in your two-piece costume, theres a big difference. HOW CAN YOU REMEMBER THAT BUT YOU CAN’T REMEMBER TO TURN YOUR FEET OUT” uh scream
she really called the police on this woman i cannot handle this. can you imagine being a police officer responding to this call?
“we have a parent thats out of control. pardon? no shes doesnt have weapons, just her mouth” iconic
im sorry im still not over the hair and makeup. the flat hair with the side bangs. the black pencil eyeliner applied all the way around the eye. why did any of us think this was a look :( why did we do this :(
Act 5:
they went all the way to phoenix to compete 3 numbers, only 2 of which are shown in the episode.
i think this is the only time they ever went to west coast dance explosion because its an actual competition and they wouldnt allow filming after this lol i think they did go to wcde one weekend in addition to a competition where they were filming but it wasnt shown or mentioned at all
abby not wanting brooke and paige to have a french manicure on stage if theyre the only ones in the group with the french tips is perfectly valid idk why it was framed as some crazy micromanaging shit
i also am really not a fan of the whole “high functioning alcoholic wine mom/crazy stage mom” schtick they were pushing for the first few episodes of this show
in retrospect i feel like so many of the quips in this episode were intentionally fucking crazy just to get the audience engaged enough to want to watch more episodes...
“see those girls down there, those girls with the legs? thats who you’re up against, so step it up”
abby warning them that its dangerous for their little party hats to slip when they’re doing aerials and pirouettes and stuff: “what if you were at radio city music hall and they had the ice rink out and you were doing a side aerial and fell 13 stories down and died, huh?” fantastic point abby thank you for saying that to 5 girls ages 8-12 less than 5 minutes before they went on stage. perfect time for a teaching moment like that :)
i forgot how bad the camera work was in the first few episodes for footage of their performances. like they really didnt think the show’s audience would actually want to watch the kids dance, the producers and editors thought we just wanted to see stage mothers yelling at each other lol
also the mic feed over the music of abby talking to herself giving them corrections while watching them dance on stage.... im so glad they quit doing that. i dont remember them doing it like that for any other episode, i hope im right
this choreo is very basic and its a cute dance i guess but its very cringe in some places and for the first episode this is such a forgettable group routine
their scandalized reaction to placing third and the sad piano music is so funny honestly
and maddies reaction in the interview which was almost definitely fed to her by the producers where shes like “i win all the time i dont really know what its like to LOSE i always win or get runner up” so many of maddies lines from season 1 interviews sound so fake and she was probably too naive to know they were getting her to say that stuff so they could paint her as a conceited brat (she was EIGHT)
the trio costume was so ugly im sorry (is it supposed to be like a 50s pinup bathing suit?) (and the headband thing looks so bad) and also the music is bad but they had no real authority over that bc of copyright stuff
chloe’s headpiece coming forward and the ensuing drama was another moment in the episode that really solidified public interest in the show imho....
“YOU’RE IN THE BAR HAVING A DRINK AND YOUR KID’S HEADPIECE IS FALLING OFF” “it did not FALL OFF it CAME FORWARD it was FINE!!!”
“mistakes happen, we’re human.” “YOU are. mistakes like that dont happen to me”
and then the “next time on dance moms” with the WILDLY INAPPROPRIATE electricity dance, of course. genuinely that was really smart of the producers in terms of structuring things to generate intrigue lol. and obviously it ended up working....

S3 Rewatch - Episode 3 - Mercredi 12h10 "Tu choisis pas"
I haven't given up on those ! And man I miss skam france a lot so doing this again is making me really happy atm, recapturing a little of the magic.
This clip really was a happy surprise and ep3 is Alexia's time to shine. They did a great job giving her a place in Lucas's story (even tho I would have liked to see her react to Lucas's coming out in particular.)
The clip starts with a quick shot of a Raptors poster ("You also can be one of us!") - that's the French version of the Penetrators right ? So basically a Straight Institution TM. Followed by Lucas quickly noping into the Foyer to avoid Chloe. He's noping out of Straightness all around.
I love Daphne's look in this clip, the green bow scarf thing in her hair is super cute, and the whole moment where she desperately tries to hide that they're having a party while everyone is like eh whatever is hilarious. She is such an unlikely candidate to organize a clandestine party in the school at night, and yet. Everyone is stepping out of their comfort zones.
I did laugh at the part where Daphne brings up Alexia's bisexuality as linked to her shoes, that felt like a clunky way of bringing the subject but those shoes are awesome. And calling Alexia chelou is a throwback to Eliott being all like hey we like weird right? It's cool to be chelou right ? Bi/pan kings ! (A bit mean from Emma though lol) but those would exactly be the type to own their weirdness/queerness. Even though, as she says later, she might not be afraid to stand out but in the end, it's all natural. I am not a big fan of the whole "we're all sexually fluid anyway" but I remember having similar thoughts as a baby bi. It was a way for myself to reassure myself that I wasn't actually weird, that this was in a way a core human experience (I still honestly believe a lot more ppl than we/they realize are at least somewhat fluid, but not everyone.)
For the whole "Lucas becoming a part of the girl squad" thing - it does feel a little artificial at times. But it's also interesting in terms of gender dynamics. There's a bit of an element of "Lucas isn't a real dude so it's chill" that can be a bit demeaning at times - but it also means that he can sidestep the whole charade of war between the sexes/treating girls like objects like his friends do and so he can find temporary shelter with them even though in the end his squad matters more (and that's logical tbh), and they can help each other out.
Alexia bringing up the Kinsey scale and Lucas - nonchalantly but not really - immediately wanting to know more is like such a mood bc you learn so much from being surrounded by other queer ppl, but it can be so tricky to ask when you're not even out to yourself. Then she brings up Emma and Daphne kissing. Daphne is obviously embarrassed and says she didn't take the initiative while Emma treats it as a silly thing she does when drunk. Meanwhile Lucas has probs been struggling with this for years, so it might have hurt a little to see them talk abt it like it's inconsequential- and it's not really surprising when he says - oh that's cool, you can just brush it aside when convenient then. Like at that moment maybe he is thinking that bisexuality in this way is the best option - he can't really deny his attraction to guys anymore but he sees an opportunity to sweep it under the rug. When he says "and everyone still thinks you're hetero" with that fake smile, as if that was the best possible option, I was like, ouch. But I felt like I really understood Lucas a lot more. Compared to Isak (who always seemed to struggle more with the attraction itself, a lot more nervous around Even) Lucas's goes for it around Eliott but also ropes Chloe in much harder - his main fear is about the social repercussions.
Alexia's response is one of my favorite non-Elu moments of the season. It's such an important debunking of the stereotypes about bisexuality. You fall in love, it's not about picking sides. And you can't calculate, it's not about what's most convenient. It just happens. And Lucas needs to hear this, too. He can front with the best of them, but he can't force himself to feel things bc they're convenient. But the message will take some time to sink in. That little downcast look at the end, though. Ugh. He probably feels like he committed a blunder, we know from later that this blocked him from coming out to the girls. From Emma and Daphne being somewhat dismissive he might have expected them to be all "haha yeah it's cool we're still straight anywayyy" but Alexia is way ahead of them on that one. She doesn't let the implication that straightness is the norm slide and I love her for that. I was so blown away when I discovered the Kinsey scale, this idea that it's not "normal" vs the outliers but that's it's more of a spectrum. So drawing strict boundaries is difficult. It's such an important message. It's the first time I really felt they were taking her character and her sexuality seriously and that was really cool. As Lucas's story gets pretty angsty at times, it's also cool to be shown that struggling with yr sexuality is not always a necessity, that some people manage to be very open and proud and easy about it.
Also I saw Coline wearing the "you don't choose who you love" shirt today at Paris pride awwww perfect day to analyze this clip 💕💕💕💕🌈

Chlodrien brotp where she is talking up Marinette after lycee bc she knows how great she is (and might be in love with her herself hehe) and is telling adrien she's being a great friend and wants to see him happy (maybe throw in some chlonette angst wherever you decide to take it) could be chlonette or adrienette either one whenever you have time/the want to write!! 😙
Oh my GOD I loved this prompt, thank you so much! I started writing it as soon as I opened this ask. Here we go! I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing!
Ship: Chlonette
Words: 1,088
Adrien POV
“I’m just saying, the girl has skills.”
I sighed. “I know, Chloe.”
The blonde on the bed across from me tossed her hair backand occupied herself by inspecting her—flawless as always—manicure. “And, like, you know lycéeme would rather kill herself than to admit it, but she’s cute.”
“Chloe, she’s one of my best friends, I know all of this,” Iinsisted.
“Well then dosomething about it! You’re single, she’s single. God, do I have to doeverything around here?”
Exasperated, I threw myself backwards onto her mound ofpillows. Why was I friends with the most oblivious girls out there?
“You’re single, too, Chlo,” I reminded, just to be thankedwith a pillow smacked into my face.
“Like I need to be reminded of that. I know we’ve beenfriends since the whole team-up thing, but she still resents me for how I usedto treat her. I can tell she’s holding herself back whenever we talk.” As muchas she tried to cover it up, I could hear he sadness in her voice.
“And the only possible reason for that is resentment?” Iasked gently.
“What else could it be?” She dropped down beside me. “I evenresent me. I lost a lot of time trying to be my mother. I lost a lot of myself, too.”
Slowly, I reached down to hold her hand. “Marinette knewfrom the time your mother tried to take her to New York that you deservedbetter. She might have been mad at you, but the only people she’s ever heldresentment for is Lila and my father, to my knowledge. Don’t be so hard onyourself. I love you, Chlo-bear, and the whole team loves you.”
“Shut up.” If I didn’t know her so well, I might have beenoffended. Instead, I sat up and turned to face her, pulling up Marinette’s contactand hitting the call button. I looked at the screen until it showed she pickedup, then looked to Chloe, who had rested her arm over her eyes.
“Chloe, how do you feel about Marinette?”
“What?” She looked up at me.
“You heard me. When you see Mari, when you hear her name, what do you think about? What do you feel?”
Glancing down, I saw Marinette was still connected. Shetried to be good, she did, but I knew she couldn’t resist the temptation.
“When I think of Marinette, I think of her laugh. It’s sofucking cute, like she doesn’t even care how it makes everyone around herfeel. She makes my heart beat faster and I think about her whenever somethinggood happens and I want to talk to her every time I feel like I’m reverting backinto my mother. Christ, Adrien, do I have to say it? You already know.”
“Say it, Chloe,” I prompted gently, watching as her eyes gotwet.
“I’m fucking in love with her. Shocker, I know, I fell forthe girl that could never love me back because fate is a god damn bitch. She’sso pure that it’s literally hersuperpower. And it doesn’t matter that I love her because she’s been inlove with you since the day she metyou and I want her to be happy! And you—everyone knew Chat had a crush onLadybug! You can’t tell me that went away.”
“I can tell you that, and I’d mean it. Mari and I are just friends. That is all we’ll ever be.”
Another glance down showed me that Mari had hung up, so Ilaid back down next to my oldest friend.
“No one is punishing you more than yourself. You’re sobeautiful, Chlo. Inside and out.”
“You got that right, Chaton.”
Chloe sat bolt upright and furiously scrubbed at hermascara-stained cheeks. “Ladybug! Hey, what are you doing here?”
I kissed Chloe’s cheek and told them both, “I’ll give youtwo some space.”
Marinette POV
When I first answered his call and heard his question, Ithought Adrien was trying to stop my ridiculous crush before I hurt myself.
Listening, though, and hearing Chloe talk like that—and aboutme caused my heart to swell, but theway she was talking about herself, I couldn’t let slide. So, hanging up thephone and transforming just seconds before leaping off my balcony, I headed toher balcony. She never locked the doors, so I was able to slip into her roomundetected.
“No one is punishing you more thanyourself. You’re so beautiful, Chlo. Inside and out.”
I stepped into the room fully. “Yougot that right, Chaton.”
After Chat’s unsubtle exit, Iapproached Chloe’s bed and perched on the edge.
“What brings you by, Mari?” theblonde asked casually, as if I couldn’t tell she’d been crying.
“A little kitty may have phoned mein on your conversation.”
“I’m going to fucking kill him.” Sheworked her bottom jaw back and forth, a sign she was holding back somethingnasty and spiteful. “I’m sorry what I said made you so uncomfortable you had tocome over here. I wish he didn’t put you in that position.”
I couldn’t stop the chuckle fromescaping me. “The position of hearing the girl I like say she likes me back?”
“Yeah. Wait, what?” Icy eyessearched mine. “If you’re pulling some kind of prank on me, I swear to Pollen,Dupain-Cheng, I will end you.”
“Chloe, I’ve been attracted to youforever. My bisexual ass hated being so attracted to a girl so mean. Thiscrush, though, it started the day you came with me to meet your mother at thehelicopter.”
“Mari, that was years ago,” Chloestated with confusion.
“I know. That day, you came with agirl that you had publically hated just for the chance to spend time with amother that didn’t deserve you.” I scooted closer on the bed so I could takeone of her hands and bring it to my lap.  “That day, I decided it was better for youboth to get mad at me than to stay mad at each other, because you were Chloe Bourgeoisand despite how awful you had treated me or the fact that you had mistakenlyfound a miraculous and become a super-supervillain, I wanted you to be happy.  I still do.”
“I don’t deserve you, Marinette,”she insisted, but did not move away.
“I believe I’m the one who gets todecide that.”
The space between our lips became nonexistent.
