you definitely already knew how the pre-crisis todd’s were going to end up but trina accidentally discovering bruce is batman being the thing to really seal her fate is sending me into a spiral. later on bruce asks dick if she can be trusted and it further drives a wedge between the two of them.

dick is routinely optimistic about others and bruce is the unconscious executioner over and over and over. each time he tries to push back against someone- he’s uncovered against his will, he benches an ally to force, he deliberately leaves someone in the dark- they pay the price in the name of seeing his grief and furthering of his cause onscreen. auGH

#the TRAGEDY!#there’s this panel in coates’ black panther that i need to make a whole post about sometime but #it talks about tchalla saying hes given everything to his country because he has no more to lose #and his mother tells him how none of that was given willingly #he feels the weight and burden of the crown but never the inverse #and the thing he’s yet to give is the hope and inspiration #and sometimes we get into this cyclical thing especially post jason’s death where that feels so true of bruce as well #and of course there’s a lot to say about wakanda as a character in that run and how tchalla comes to coexist with it and his body #and what that means #chefs kiss coates writing is so sincere #but the sentiment is Very Strong #i havent read a Ton of precrisis stuff but i know enough to know that dick was that inverse for bruce #so this is Intriguing #okay i’m done saying words #i’ll say them better some other time #flynn.txt #dick grayson #bruce wayne #dc #text

ppl really show their asses quite a bit when ai art is concerned bc we had all these debates on here about art being something that inspires a powerful reaction in u and people will see pieces and be like “wow what a cool composition I’m in love with this” and then see it’s created with ai assistance and go “nevermind pretend I didn’t have that first reaction there’s no longer any merit”. I don’t care one way or another but it seems quite silly and non genuine if you can’t admit that you did enjoy the piece on first viewing because you’re too busy being morally outraged over something someone on tumblr told you you have to be mad about

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

as an aroace person with limited sexual experience, no interest in watching porn, and poor sex ed as a teen, there IS something simultaneously funny and vaguely tragic about being 28 adult years old and realising how extremely tiny your frame of reference is for genitalia and deciding you should expand this to better understand bodies (yours and others). and then you're just there like "okay so what the fuck do I even google right now, anyway"
