Finding Home Part 2

Toothless

Part 1

The Cheif's house was quiet as everyone was sleeping. Apart from a baby night fury who was exploring the house as she didn't get a chance the night before.

Crash!

Hiccup and Toothless had rushed their way out of their sleeping areas to protect their home just to see y/n looking at a pile of plates that she had knocked down while she was looking around. When she noticed that they were there she moved away from the mess with her ears to her head. Both Toothless and Hiccup let out a sigh of relief as Toothless made his way over to y/n. He took her by the scruff of her neck and moved her away from the broken pieces of pates and Hiccup began to clean them up. While cleaning the plates up Stoick made his way over to them after being woke up by the commotion.

"What's going on?" Stoick asked as he saw the mess on the floor and Toothless keeping y/n away from the mess as she was trying to see what Hiccup was doing. However, she started to make her way over to him when she realised he was there.

"Nothing," Hiccup said as he picked up the last piece up off the floor. "Y/n was just exploring and knocked over some plates."

Stoick nodded as he picked y/n up when she reached him. He started to laugh as she started to rub her head against his chin. He began to laugh as she did. Hiccup and Toothless looked over at them and smiled before they began getting ready for the day.

"Alright, we best get ready for the day. Your mother and sister are coming back today and we need to get everything ready." Hiccup told Stoick as he came out of his room and came across him and y/n play fighting, Toothless watching over them. He let them play a little while longer before he sent Stoick to get ready and put some fish out for Toothless and y/n. He then started to make some breakfast for himself and Stoick.

While Hiccup was busy, Stoick came back and carried on playing with y/n before he was told breakfast was finished. Y/n went and cuddled into Toothless while she was waiting for Stoick to finish, so they could play.

Hiccup and Stoick soon finished and Hiccup decided that they would introduce y/n to the village and get the chores they needed to do, done. Everyone in the village, especially the children, loved y/n and couldn't wait to see her around the village more. they soon made their way back to the house and got everything ready for Astrid and Zephyr to come home.

The Time Lords Peaked at The War Games.

In my opinion, I think the Time Lords were at their best during the War games. Because before the War games, we didn’t really know anything about the Time Lords or Gallifrey, or any of that really.

But then the War Games comes ripping around the corner and everything took a sudden turn before the Time Lords were even mentioned by name.  Then they were, and the Doctor explains that the Time Lords are his people and Jamie was like, ‘oh, everything’s alright then, if they’re your people than that must be a good thing because you’re good,’ (not what he actually said, but it’s what he meant) but it wasn’t. Like the scene in the End of Time part two with Wilfred and Ten (and I’ll get to that later, hang on).  And when The Doctor went to call the Time Lords, even the War Chief, the main baddie of the entire series, was frightened which really tells you something.

Then the Doctor tells Jamie and Zoe to stay there because the Time Lords will take them home as well. But Jamie and Zoe refused, because of course they would, and the Doctor just gives in and was just like ‘alright then’ and they all move on. And now the Doctor was like ‘okay, but we have to get the hell out of here before the Time Lords get here’ But then the Time Lords begin to arrive.

Then everything begins to slow down. And they begin to slow down. And the Doctor, Jamie and Zoe are trying to run to the TARDIS, but they’re moving at a snails pace, and in the background there’s a haunting and suspenseful song being played, and at this point the Doctor is making a desperate crawl to the TARDIS, but he’s just not close enough to get in, and it was terrible.  But luckily, Jamie was able to open the doors, and it’s like thank God, they made it, everything’s okay now! Wahoo!

But then the Time Lords start to take over the TARDIS to take them back to Gallifrey. And then the Time Lords make their first actual appearance.

They tell the Doctor that he has to come home immediately and face trial, but the Doctor didn’t want to and just wanted them to leave him alone, but of course they didn’t. So they tried flooding the TARDIS, telling the Doctor that his travels were over. So they went to Gallifrey.

And the Time Lords were just so /calm/ throughout the whole thing. They never yelled or got angry, they just said everything like there wasn’t any other option, and it was terrifying.

Then there were the trials where the Time Lords keep their calm and just wiped the War Cheif from existence like it was nothing.

And in trial, after being convinced that the Doctor still has a role to play in the universe, it was another ‘wahoo’ moment, because then they all try to escape, and everything should’ve been fine. In any other episode or series, they would’ve gotten away and had more adventures, but in the War Games, they don’t. They can’t.  So they all say their goodbyes, “I won’t forget you.”

But they do. All of Jamie’s and Zoe’s memories of the Doctor, and of everything they’ve done and seen and accomplished besides their first meeting were wiped away like nothing at all.

And on top of that, they force the Doctor to regenerate to be put on exile in what has to be one of the most terrifying and depressing regeneration in all of Doctor Who, as the Doctor yells “no, no, no” as everything spins before disappearing completely— like what the fuck?? I honestly cried while watching this.

And compared to every other episode or series the Time Lords popped up in, from Classic to New Who, they haven’t matched up to the War Games.

Not even in The End of Time, where they were at their most threatening under the War Games. But at the end of the day, in the End of Time, the Doctor beat the Time Lords, the day was saved, he could’ve went and had more adventures, and the only reason why he didn’t was because of Wilfred in the little machine thingy, not the Time Lords. And they kind of took the back seat to the Master if I’m being completely honest. The Master was the main threat really, not them.

So overall, I believe that the Time Lords were at their best, most menacing and impactful in the War Games, because in everything else it’s always felt as if they took the sidelines, and were always just easily brushed aside or defeated, while in the War Games, they won. And they did so easily.

summary: it was finally the last day to their trip to danyang and of course, what better way to end it then with a party. though, the party was a little special.

— going on a trip turns out to be...SO SO FUN!

"sorry i'm a little late. I had some work to take care of." heeseung says.

they were roleplaying since it certainly looks like some company or team dinner. just like ones in kdramas.

sunghoon joins them shortly after changing into his outfit. jay brings out the meat to grill and sunghoon greets him.

"manager jjong." sunghoon says.

"chief park, how have you been?" jay says.

"you wore a tie that stands out for this team dinner." heeseung pretends to drunkenly say. they laughed.

"where is our CEO? lady ivy?" heeseung slurs.

just then, ivy walks down the stairs (since she changed upstairs). it catches the boys attention and when ivy emerges from the foil curtains...their jaws dropped.

ivy was rocking a spectacular long black satin dress. the slit appearing every step she takes. she had brought a small blanket to cover up for when she settled on the ground.

"sorry to keep you guys waiting." ivy says.

"no no, it's okay." jake says.

"close your mouth, hyung." ni-ki says. jay pats the seat next to him.

"our CEO needs to seat here. after all, i am her secretary." jay says. ivy snorts.

"alright then secretary park, feed me a piece of meat."

"at your service." jay feeds her a piece of meat and ivy happily eats it after settling down. jay helps to make sure her dress was covered by the blanket.

ENHYPEN enjoys their little feast.

"this is not the party we were hoping for." jake mentions.

though it wasn't what they hoped for to happen so far, they still enjoyed the food. jay comes back with 2 more servings of rib eye.

"honestly, i'm so full right now." ni-ki says.

"no, this is so you don't stumble in the river later on. eat more." sunghoon says.

"i want to hurry up and fish." ni-ki pouts.

"it would be legendary if you caught something."

"but can you really fish at night though. there are a lot of bugs out there." ivy mentions.

"if we catch something, will you reward us?" jake asks.

"you always want a reward huh?" ivy says.

"well it's from you, sooo...yes." jake smirks. ivy playfully rolls her eyes.

"concentrate on grilling, jaeyun." ivy says. jake chuckles.

"let's try the meat that cheif sim grilled." heeseung says.

"oh, suddenly i am promoted to chief?"

"hey, that means you just got a pay raise." ivy says.

"not bad. i keep getting promoted the more heeseung hyung speaks."

just after they settled eating and enjoying, they ended up starting up their engine. it was time for the real party.

"guys let's go!" heeseung shouts.

"let's GOOO." jungwon yells. sunghoon and jay join in too.

and so ENHYPEN sang. ivy watches the boys in horror. she covers her mouth in shock at their energy.

"i am still not used to seeing them like this." ivy tells the camera. jungwon grabs onto ivy's hand and pulls her.

"noona, dance!!" jungwon excitedly say.

"well, i'm kinda limited by my outfit." jungwon laughs, he twirls her arm and places his hand on her waist.

"you look pretty, noona." ivy blushes. she smacks jungwon's arm.

"yang jungwon, you flirt."

the sound of ballad reaches their ears as they settled down after dancing and yelling.

"i don't know this song-" ni-ki grabs the mic from jay. "how do you know this song?"

"even i don't know this song. ni-ki yah, are you perhaps really chulsoo instead?" ivy asks. sunoo and sunghoon laughed.

"noona, you sound drunk." sunoo mentions. ivy turns to look at sunoo.

"maybe i am drunk on sleep. i'm tired." ivy lays her head on jungwon's shoulder. she listens to jungwon's singing and shuts her eyes. jungwon holds ivy's hands. he plays with her fingers whilst singing.

"how about we hype this up again?" jay suggests.

"let's sing 'anyhow song' again." ni-ki says.

and so they sang 'anyhow song'. ivy goes to the bathroom. when she comes back, the boys pointed at her.

"it was wrong that i'd thought you'd always be my girl~"

"i don't need what has changed. now when i see you I don't feel anything." he points to ivy. "when your gaze always fell on me, the way you were."

ni-ki sings to ivy, "i miss everything about you."

"everytime i saw you, i felt my heart flutter~" sunghoon holds onto ivy's hands.

"i just threw myself onto you!" the boys sing and dance. ivy giggles whilst shaking her head.

"ENGENEs don't be fooled, this song is for you guys. it's not me." ivy tells the camera.

just when you think it was over. it wasn't it was just starting.

"it hurts too much to just send you away like this!" heeseung sings.

"don't stop!"

that was when the real partying started. each of them did their own headbanging and ivy just watches them.

"oh, i'm so dizzy." jake says.

ivy was even more shocked when she noticed heeseung and ni-ki going full out.

"yah, are you guys not getting dizzy?" she asks worriedly. they simply said no and continued.

jay starts playing the air guitar passionately.

and of course finally, the time that enhypen had always dreaded for...doing the dishes.

"let's leave noona out of this, she was already feeling sick just now." ni-ki mentions.

"sorry but there is no exception. one must do rock, paper, scissors and loser has to do the dishes." jay says.

"i'm fine, ni-ki. i'll do the dishes if i have to."

"if noona has to do the dishes, i'll replace her." jungwon pitches in.

"won, thank you but you don't have to."

"nope, i insist." jungwon says.

"well...since you insisted...ROCK PAPER SCISSORS SHOOT!"

they held their hands out. thankfully sunghoon held out scissors so they could play once more.

but unfortunately, jake and sunoo loses. ivy was shocked she even won.

"noona won her first rock paper scissors!!" jungwon mentions.

"YOU ARE MY DESTINY!!" jay yells.

"well in that case...GOODBYE EVERYONE I'LL GO TO SLEEP NOW!" ivy points to the stairs.

"wait, let's have one person do the dishes. the other will help to clean up outside." jake suggests.

"oh jake, you are playing a dangerous game-"

sunoo lost.

and so his journey of cleaning the dishes starts. ivy goes to change into her pyjamas. she goes to the kitchen and grabs the soaped up dishes before rinsing it down and letting it to dry.

"noona-"

"it's okay sunoo, there were a lot of dishes and those boys just want to fish. i'll help rinse and dry them. you can soak them."

sunoo pouts, "noona..." ivy pokes sunoo's cheeks.

"anything for my sunshine."

and so ivy and sunoo did the dishes. they could hear heeseung singing in the background.

"we'll bring back tomorrow's breakfast!" jake says.

"if you can." ivy mentions.

"not with that attitude, love." jake shouts as he leaves. ivy shakes her head.

while the four boys went fishing, jay, sunoo, jungwon and ivy stayed back. ivy and sunoo were done with the dishes and so they shared the ice cream tub. sunoo happily brings out the tub to eat.

jay comes back from changing his clothes. he pecks ivy's forehead.

"enjoy the ice cream." ivy says.

"you should eat it after you shower though. it would be better."

jungwon enters the living room, "yoi."

"yoi." ivy replies, "weren't you going to see the bunnies?"

"nope, not yet. heeseung hyung wanted to come along but he is still fishing." jungwon settles next ivy. ivy feeds him a spoonful of ice cream.

"honestly, this place is really nice."

"it's sad that we have to go home tomorrow though."

"let's live here instead when we grow old." ivy suggests. jay nods.

while the camera cuts to the 4 boys fishing, ivy and jay laid on the couch. ivy shows jay some little funny things and he laughs.

"babe?" ivy says. jay hums. "if we were to get married, would you want kids?"

"where is this coming from?"

"well..." ivy shoves a video of a cute baby at jay. "look at her. isn't she adorable?"

"ah, is this what they call 'baby fever'. does my vivi want to get-"

"oh? the camera." sunoo says.

"what? did the camera just move?"

"i don't think so? i just i guess heard things." sunoo says. just then, the camera moves again. he gasps. jungwon comes up to it and places his face directly in front of the camera.

"reminds me of I-LAND." jungwon mentions. sunoo hums.

"it does."

the 4 four boys came back from fishing, unable to catch anything. moreover, ni-ki was soaking wet and it was cold. it was best if he went in to dry up and change clothes.

"oh no, what happened?" ivy inspects ni-ki.

"he fell." jake mentions. ivy pouts.

"go change, you get cold easily. wouldn't want you to get sick. oh, i made hot chocolate."

the boys gasp.

"is that why you asked us to get hot chocolate powder?"

"yeah. anyways, enjoy. the staff already grabbed their share. they deserve it after working hard the whole day. you guys too."

"aww noona, you're are too sweet." jake makes kissy faces. ivy playfully rolls her eyes.

"drink up and go sleep. it's been a long day." ivy says. jay grabs her hand.

"let's sleep." ivy pats jay's head.

"alright, come on."

and so ENHYPEN went to sleep. ivy laid with jay on the bed, they cuddled to sleep.

ivy was already fresh out of bed. earlier than both jay and sunghoon, she was in the kitchen grabbing a small bite of jam and bread. she enters the maknae line bedroom and spots jake and sunoo.

"what are you doing, jakey?"

"mmm, tired. the camera moves and i didn't even wash up yet."

the camera turns to show ivy. she waves.

"go wash up then."

"nooooo."

in the end, jake still washes up.

"hi babe." sunghoon wraps his arms around ivy.

"hi hoonie." ivy turns around to face him. sunghoon leans in to kiss her but ivy turns her head.

"cameras are here."

"you didn't kiss me goodnight." sunghoon pouts.

"aww look at you. fine, just one-" sunghoon pecks her lips. ivy blushes.

"i love you." sunghoon says.

"love you too."

after the sweet moment, ENHYPEN diligently pack their things before they left the accommodation.

"ah, really. it was sooo fun. we did so much in the 3 days. it was not only healing but also filled with excitement. we did a lot of fun things that i never thought i'd try like paragliding." ivy says.

"jay also played a huge role during this trip since some of us can't cook so I have to thank him for the meals he provided us with for the 3 days." ivy makes a huge heart. "i love you, jongseong."

"life is hard and we face many challenges throughout our lifetime so i hope whenever you're stressed...you can take a step back and possibly take a break for a bit. enjoy life, go on a trip with family or friends."

EPILOGUE

— [Q: what did you do the most during the trip?]

"sleep. nag a lot to the members to make sure they cleaned up." ivy thinks for a second. "ah and fishing. jungwon said this in his interview but they are still fishing as i'm still doing my interview."

ivy points to boys. the camera pans to the boys who weren't giving up just yet.

"oh? i felt a nibble!" sunghoon yells out.

"park sunghoon!!"

"yeah?" sunghoon yells out.

"i'll take you fishing next time!!"

"really? this is a promise!!"

"yes!!"

ivy turns to the camera, "don't worry ENGENEs, i'll make sure the boys can actually get a fish if we go on a fishing trip."

I'm as disappointed as anyone about the sort of weird pandering portrayal of Muelsyse we got in Lone Trail, maybe the only thing I disliked about it, but that said what we've learned about her is still driving me crazy

Deprived of home and family by oripathy she finds solace and new purpose in a visionary duo trailblazing their way through the scientific community. She herself is talented enough that she gets their attention and together with them helps them build the future, and in her own way falls in love with both of them.

But from the get go she knows: Kristen is a visionary but she Hardly cares about other people, and the only person she'll ever care about with equal fervor to her research is Saria. For the sake of her research though, for the sake of her people's future, and even due to the feelings she still harbors for her, she's willing to be play the part of Kristen's cheif lackey and engage in all the backroom dealing and spying for her. Meanwhile she has to engage with the complex emotion of seeing these two, who were always primarily oriented toward one another, drift apart and Saria become more hostile to the both of them, and not without reason.

And even despite that, perhaps because of her unrelenting commitment to ethics and her belief that science exists to serve people, she continues to love Saria too, and is willing to give her life, as far as she knows, to save her.

Even though, I might add, she can see through Saria's own self-deception and see that despite what she says to Kristen's face she's one of her enablers, too. Like, what a character.

Keith was sitting in a meeting room with Zarkon and other higher ups. He was barely paying attention to what they were saying. His mind was focused on a Na'vi named Adam. His mission was to mate with Adam since he was the cheifs son and convince the clan that something was wrong with their home. Yet Keith couldn't find it in himself to do it.

Keith felt conflicted about it. He was close to Adam, in fact he genuinely wanted to be mated to Adam. On the other hand, Earth was destroyed and Pandora had exactly what they needed to save it. Keith frowned slightly. What would Shiro do? Would he side with Pandora or Earth? Keith knew the answer. His brother was a good man, he would never play with the Na'vi like that. In fact Shiro would probably be disappointed that Keith was even attempting too.

"Kogane." Keith looked up and saw that almost everyone was looking at him. "What?" Keith's tone was harsh. "No need to be grumpy. We just need to know how far along are you with Adam?" Zarkon crossed his arms. Keith hummed. "We're close, he trusts me." Keith crossed his arms as he stared at Zarkon. "Close enough for him to want to be mated to you?" Zarkon had a small grin on his face.

Keith scowled slightly. "Most likely not. He doesn't even want to mate with the person he's promised too and they're supposed to be compatible." Keith looked at Sam. "Even according to Sam, they're supposed to be compatible in every sense," Keith told him.

It was the truth. Adam had no interest in mating with the one he was promised to. In fact, Adam seemed to hate the dude, so obviously Adam would probably have no interest in mating with him. "Then their compatibility doesn't matter. You're going to find a way to become his mate." Zarkon seemed pissed. Keith nodded. "Now get on with it," Zarkon hissed.

Keith woke up to the sun of Pandora hidden behind the leaves, still rising. Keith sat up and looked around. That's when his eyes landed on Adam. Adam was still asleep in the hammock next to him. Keith looked Adam's body over. He could see scars littering over his body, most likely from hunting. Keith layed back down, it was too early to be up if Adam is still asleep. So maybe he could get lost in his thoughts.

Keith was brought back to reality when he felt someone join him in his hammock. Keith slowly opened his eyes and looked at the person. It was Adam. Keith tilted his head slightly and looked Adam over. Adam was sitting with his legs crossed and had his tail wrapped around his waist as he worked on braiding beads together into a necklace. Keith recognized the necklace as a mating necklace.

Keith felt his heart drop slightly. He almost forgot. Adam was going to have to be mated to Astrophel by the end of the week. The necklace must be for Astrophel. So Keith needed to get over it. So he slowly sat up, his eyes focused on Adam and nothing else. "What's that?" Adam looked at him. "Its a mating necklace, for my future mate if he accepts it." Adam turned his attention back to it.

Keith didn't get why his heart hurt, Adam was a mission. Nothing more and nothing less, yet it hurts to hear Adam talk about the man he's promised to even if Adam hates him. "I'm sure he will after all Astrophel is in love you." Keith gave Adam a soft smile. However the mention of Astrophel caused Adam's ears to pin back and to cause the tuff of hair at the tip of his tail to puff out.

"Its not for him, I will never make him a mating necklace for I will never love him enough to make him one. This is for someone else." Adam smiled at the necklace before looking at Keith. Keith sat up and put a hand on Adam's arm. "Well whoever it is, I'm sure they'll accept it and gladly be your mate." Keith gave Adam a soft smile.

Adam looked at Keith. Their eyes meeting. Keith broke the eye contact and looked at the necklace in Adam's hands. It was beautiful. It looked as if Adam was pouring the entirety of his feelings into the making of it. Keith felt jealous, jealous of the person that was receiving the necklace and he didn't know why.

Keith went to remove his hand from Adam's arm but before he could, Adam leaned into him. Keith looked at him, Adam's eyes were focused on the necklace as he got back to work. Keith hummed and moved his hand to rest on Adam's lower back. Maybe he could relish in the fact that he'll be able to understand Adam better than whoever Adam wished to mate.

Rizzit nearly tripped on his own tail from that shove. He didn't dare argue wirh Ikit's choice in demoting him. All the rat did was merely nod in agreement whole keeping his muzzle down, squirting his musk of fear like a good clan rat.

Yvonne will never understand the strange an peculiar culture of squirting gross juices out of your body. She hoped Ikit didn't expect her to do the same thing. Human don't squirt when their superiors are around. The beggar girl pinched her nose to block out the horrendous smell. Everything down here smells like dirt, metal, and filth. " Ugh! Do you skaven have to do that EVERYTIME Ikit is around? So gross! " she complained.

Rizzit couldn't believe his ears, why is she opening her big fat mouth and saying ridiculous nonsense around Ikit Claw? Does she want to get zapped!? And why is Ikit allowing this? ... Ofcourse. She's now Clan Skryre's precious resource. " Rrrrgh! Come Warpstone Man-Thing. No more playing with warp-tech yes yes? Follow me, I'll show you to your room-nest. "

" Wait ... You guys already have a room for me?" Yvonne questioned.

" Yes yes Warpstone Man-thing. We've been waiting for you. "

Yvonne followed Rizzit bellow the factory, they headed towards a rickety door that looked like it was plucked from its hinges at a tavern and taken straight to skavenblight. Rizzit opened the door for her, hoping that she would like the arrangements. " Welcome to your new home-nest, Warpstone man-thing. The slaves made-craft a nest for you out of straw and fabrics they stole from filthy elf-thing nobles. Your food stash is behind that rock. And we stole book-books for you to keep you happy-entertained. "

" Thank you all so much for your hard work. I really appreciate it ..." Yvonne lifts her hand up at Rizzit.

The skaven recoiled in fear. He knew he did something wrong. He knew it. Now he's going to be punished for it. But instead, he was met with gentle pets on top of his fuzzy head. His heart rate wasn't through the roof anymore and he felt relaxed.

Then he remembered Ikit's present and pulled himself away. Unaware of the warpstone dust left behind on his fur. " Oh mercy Great Cheif Warlock! Rizzit didn't mean for warpstone man-thing to touch me-me! "

" Wait, what!? Ikit, you're not going to hit him all because I petted him are you? If you're jealous I can give you pets too? Please, please, please don't hit anyone. " Yvonne begged.

She didn't catch any of that. Yvonne is too busy admiring the technical majesty of Clan Skryre's hellish factory. The conveyer belts definetly caught her eye, so much so she left Ikit's side to go check it out. The way it moved bits and pieces so quickly around this hell hole amazed her to no end.

" Oooooo. Spectacular. I wonder ... can it take people too? "

Yvonne pushes some scrapped junk out of the way and took its place. Now riding the conveyer belts to God's know where.

Only for a clan rat to come and ruin her fun. He pulled the level down to stop the conveyer belts production and scampered towards the man thing.

" Warpstone man-thing! Get off-off right now-now! Great Chief Warlock will have our hides if he witness-sees this! " he panicked, grabbing her arm and pulling her off. Was it the right move to lay his hands on her? Probably not. Thankfully Ikit wasn't here to see this. " Go back to Great Cheif Warlock Warpstone man-thing! And don't touch-grab anything yes-yes? "

" Tch, awww. Why'd you have to go ruin my fun? I wanted to see where it goes. " she pulls her arm away from his gripping paws, her attention focusing on a large barrel full of glowing green balls. " Oooo! Pretty! Are these crystal balls or something? Can I have one? "

" NO-NO! Don't touch-grab! It's highly explosive! " he gets in front of the barrel to block her off. " For Horned Rats sake, please scurry-run back to Master Ikit! "

After everything that you and the gang had been through, you and Steve decided it would be a great idea to just have a night to yourselves just like the good old days.

No worrying about monsters, or creepy dimensions. Just the two of you, eating junk food and watching crappy movies. And that's exactly what you'se did.

You were currently seated on Steve's living room couch and he was in the kitchen making some popcorn for the both of you. The TV was playing whatever channel his parents left it on this morning, and was currently acting as background noise for the both of you.

Steve had made some dumb pun about popcorn, and you wheezed your lungs out as if it was the most hilarious thing ever.

He made his way back to the living room, and plopped down next to you with a steaming bowl of popcorn in his hand. "You know, I've missed hanging out, like just us, no babysitting and no Robin making fun of me for having no dates." Steve said looking at you with a small glint in his eye.

Stumbling then falling into the water below him.

He looked up at you in shock, what you didn't realise however was the mischievous glint in his eyes. While you were busy laughing, Steve had grabbed your leg and pulled you into the shallow water with him.

"Well with all the things he's told us about you, we assumed you two had started dating."

"Okay mum, that's enough. You and dad should head upstairs, we'll keep the noise down."

"Use protection." His father said pointing at Steve. Did he just miss that entire conversation?

His parents headed upstairs and you held in a laugh until you heard their bedroom door close.

"Yeah I guess I do," He said awkwardly. "Actually I did wanna talk about something with you tonight."

"Yeah?"

"I've ugh, I've had a bit of a crush on you since you tripped in front of me when we were nine."

When the two walked out of the room the victory party had already started. "Ah the two winter spirits!" North exclaimed as he handed Jack and Elsa some hot chocolate. Jack took a sip as he and Elsa walked around talking to the Guardians. Olaf and Bruni played in the corner with sandy. "So both of you have been around for 300 years?" Bunny asked. "Give or take Yeah," Elsa replied. "We all know what Jack was doing in that time but... what about you?" Tooth asked. Elsa smiled. "Well... I stayed at home most of the time until my sister died. But sometimes I traveled to our neighboring kingdom of Corona to see my cousin, Rapunzel," Elsa replied. "But what happened after Anna died?" Jack asked. "Well... I traveled a bit more. Met two other people who I became fairly close with. Princess Merida of Dunbroch was one of them. But later on I received a letter stating she had died," Elsa explained. "Who was the other person?" Tooth asked. "He was the cheif of a viking clan. His name was Hiccup Haddock. Very smart. He grew old and had two kids. Then I saw him die of old age as well," Elsa replied. It got quiet for a moment. "How many loved ones have you watched die?" North asked. "Oh uh... well Jack was first, then my parents, then Anna then I died then I thought Jack died again, then amna died again from old age... then my cousin... then Merida.. then hiccup.... not to mention my neice and nephew," Elsa explained as she started to grow sadder and sadder as she went on. "You watched all your friends die?" Tooth asked. "Well yes.. when I became the fifth spirit I didn't realize that I'd be immortal... and sometimes I'm really good at making friends. I guess that's the sacrifice the fifth spirit has to make," Elsa replied. Jack took her hand and squeezed it. The party went on as the topic was dropped and later that night tooth, sandy, and Bunny all went to their homes. Olaf and Bruni were passed out on one of the chairs (courtesy of sandy). Olaf was snoring. Loudly. "Do you have a place to stay?" North asked. "Yes. My apartment is back where we were," Elsa replied. "Good! Jack, we'll contact you if we need anything. Have a great night," North stated before throwing a snowglobe on the ground, opening a portal to the city Elsa lived in. "I'll get Olaf if you wanna get bruni," Elsa stated. "As you wish," Jack replied as he picked up the little lizard. Elsa rolled up her sleeves before picking up Olaf like a toddler, his head on her shoulder.

season one:

- so this group of kids (mike, lucas, dustin, and will) love to play dungeons and dragons. one night after coming home from mike’s house, will missing without a trace

-like the next night, mike, lucas, and dustin find this mysterious bald-headed girl named eleven who escaped from dr.brenner, a man she called papa and the head scientist of the lab she escaped from. the boys feel like eleven’s appearance is somehow connected to will’s disappearance

-will’s mom and older brother, joyce and jonathan, are both very distraught by will’s death but joyce kinda goes crazy over it

- meanwhile sometime time later mike’s older sister nancy and her friend barbra go to a small party hosted by nancy’s boyfriend steve (who’s popular at their school and is basically a bully at this point). at that same party, while steve and nancy are off having sex (😒), barbra also goes missing w/out a trace

-it’s also important to mention that jonathan was in the woods taking pictures and happened to stumble upon steve’s house where he took pictures of steve and nancy from the window (hella weird). ones of his pictures depicts a strange figure near barbra right before she disappeared

- felling guilty over her friend’s disappearance, nancy goes to jonathan in hopes of trying to figure out the disappearances (this is where she get all badass and starts messing w/ guns and shit). together they figure out how that that strange figure in one of his photos has something to do with it

-it’s also important to mention that the kids figure out that eleven had telekinetic powers (i forgot how but this is important)

-back w/ joyce, she’s going frantic over her son and is convinced that he’s somehow still alive (even thought his dead body was “found”) and is trying to talk to her through the lights

-through will’s perspective, we see that he’s stuck in an alternate dimension called the upside down where everything’s the same but it’s basically a dark and hazy ghost town with demonic creatures all over the place. unlike barbra, he managed to survive and hide out in the alternate version of his home where is was able to send his mom a signal through the lights

-due to joyce’s persistence, the the leader of the disappearance cases and cheif of police, hopper, goes to the morgue and cuts open will’s dead body to find out that the “body” isn’t real and is just a dummy full of stuffing. this leads to him actually believe her and them teaming up to find out what the hell is going on

-it’s kinda not really improvement to mention that steve and nancy find out about the weird ass pictures jonathan took of them and Steve fought him about it. nancy was defending jonathan tho (bc they became friends over the course of that mystery solving) and steve is like🤨.

-back w/ the kids, i don’t really remember wtf is going on with them but just know the lab she escapes from is out to get her

-something something later jonathan and nancy are in joyce’s house fighting a demogorgan, one of the weird demonic things from the upsized down that came through a gate (like a portal that connects the two words). steve shown up all of a sudden to apologize to nancy and teams up w/ them to beat the shit out of the demogorgon. this leads to him kinda joining their little team

-yeah im ngl the earlier seasons are really fuzzy to me bc i watched them back in like 2017. just know that eleven is presumed to be dead and they end up getting will back. also joyce and hopper found out that this government research center called hawkins lab had something to do with the will’s disappearance and the creation of the upside down (i forgot how💀)

season two:

-i don’t really remember much from this season but just know that this season takes place like a year later. something called the mind flayer possessed will from his upside down days and started controlling him more and more

-it is revealed to the audience that eleven is actually alive and hopper basically unofficially adopted her. they have been secretly in a cabin in the woods bc the lab is still looking for her😪

-meanwhile this girl names max and her racist ass older step-brother billy are new to hawkins. billy basically has beef w/ steve bc he wants to take his place as the “king of hawkins high” and max becomes friends w/ lucas, dustin, and mike

-it’s important to mention that will is basically bedridden cuz he’s sick (even tho it’s really just the miss flayer eating away at home from the inside)

-joyce goes to one of the doctors of hawkins lab (i forgor his name but he’s important in season 4) and is like “what’s wrong with my boy🤨???” and he basically says it’s relay to the upside down

-back w/ hopper and eleven, they get into a fight and she runs away from home. she ends up in some city where she finds her sister who also grew up with her him the lab and has powers. on her little soul searching journey, eleven finds out that her real name is jane and she had a mom but the lab gave her shock therapy making (bc she tried to find her daughter) this making her go crazy

-back in hawkins, nancy and steve breakup. in an effort to get her back he shows up to her house to apologize where he meets dustin (this is where he get a character arc and people start calling him the babysitter) and gets dragged along to help him and his find his pet baby demogorgon (bc he had that for some reason???) before it terrorizes the town

-anyways i think it’s joyce and hopper who find out that the reason the mind flayer had such a hold on will is bc there’s a gate to the upside down that’s still open (and the only one who can close it is eleven)

-anyways eleven comes back from her lil trip and steve is left watching the kids (mike, dustin, lucas, and max) while joyce is off with will and hopper takes eleven to close the gate w/ her powers

-while steve is with the kids, billy shows up outta nowhere looking for his step-sister. he storms in the house and starts besting the shit outta steve (cuz remember they got beef) and once he’s done w/ steve he immediately starts attacking lucas for handing around max (he told her not to hand out with “his kind” some time earlier)

-anyway max ends up being the one to put billy down and the gang and up stealing his car to go set fire to this thing thats attracting the demogorgans (idk i forgot about allat)

-and then eleven closes the gate and will gets unpossessed and everything is good🙂

season three:

-okay so everything isn’t really all that good

-so there’s a really big mall that opens up in town and steve, having graduated high school, gets a summer job where we meet his coworker robin

-i forgot to mention that mike and eleven and lucas and max got together back in season two

- dustin finds some message in russian and he, steve and robin are able to decode it. this leads them to find out that the mall is actually a cover up for a russian operation going on underneath it. also note that lucas’s younger sister erica tags along w/ them and becomes a main character

-in this season, nancy and jonathan are relevant again and are dating. they have an summer job as interns for a newsletter and after some investigating, they find out that the mind flayer is still possessing people

- joyce and hopper also somehow figure out that russians are involved w/ the upside down stuff and basically abduct a russian scientist they found in a secret lab. they go to the town theory conspirator murray who is able to translate what the russian guy is saying

-billy is off somewhere and ens up being the first person fully possessed by the mind flayer. through him, the flayer is able to possess more and more people

-the kids figure out something’s up and end up teaming w/ nancy and jonathan to figure out what’s going on

- back with steve and dustin anc all of them, steve and robin end up getting kidnapped and the russian guys are like “who do you work for😡” and steve’s like “an ice cream shop😩” and then they just beat the shit outta him and drug them up so they can be tortured for information. dustin and erica save them before that happens tho and they all escape back to the mall

-the scientist guy w/ joyce and hopper and Murray lowkey ends up siding w/ them and confesses how to get to the russian lab where they’re experimenting with another open gate to the upside down

-the scientist guy ends up getting killed off and hopper, joyce, and murray go off undercover to the lab to close the gate

-back with nancy and them, all the possessed people (except billy) basically morph into the gross blob that personifies the mind flayer chases them down

-(not important but good to know) while robin and steve are all drugged up and he ends up confessing to her that he has a crush in her she she’s like “mm no🤭🏳️‍🌈” and basically admits that she’s lesbian. i also forgot to mention that will and mike got into a fight way earlier in the season bc all will wanted to do was hang out w/ his original friends and play d&d but mike wanted to hang out with his girlfriend eleven. all of a sudden mike was like “it’s not my fault you don’t like girls🤬” which basically tells us that will is gay

-ANYWAYS everyone finds themselves at the mall so they can close the gate. the big gross mind flayer thing is still hunting then down but billy sacrifices himself to save them. his lil sacrifice doesn’t really do shit and eleven ends up being the one killing it(💀). it’s makes her loose her powers

-back with joyce and her little group, her and hopper are left having to close the gate but hopper has to go down and fight some russian guy trying to killing them. joyce is left having to close the gate by herself while hopper is hella close to it. this leaves the audience to assume that he’s dead (in season 4 it’s revealed that he’s not dead and was actually just captured by russians)

-at the end of the season it shows all the kids helping joyce, will, and jonathan move out of their house bc they’re tired of dealing with everything. eleven is also going to live with them bc her surrogate dad (hopper) is “dead”

that pretty much all i can remember. it turned out hella long so i don’t expect you to read all of this🚶🏿‍♂️

Animal Companion (RATLD-October Prompt)

Another AU where Namaari didn't try to steal the dragon gem.

"Pleaseeeee," Raya pouted as she sat at the end of her Ba's bed, clutching a letter close to her chest.

"Dewdrop, it's too early for this," Benja huffed as he shifted onto his side, maintaining his eyes closed. He knew the moment he opened his eyes and looked at his daughter, she would win. "I can't just drop everything and accompany you to Fang today."

"BUT--" Raya pouted as she jerked her body up and down, making the whole bed shake.

"What's so important that you woke me up before the sunrise? Only to ask me to take you to Fang?" He asked as he frowned his eyebrows at Raya's tantrum.

"Namaari is choosing her serlot cub today, and I just really want to be there for her" Raya cut herself off, scared of the personal information she accidentally shared, "I MEAN I want to meet the cub." 

Benja yawned as one eyelid blinked open. Raya looking directly at him, with a pout on her lips, puppy dog eyes, and both hands clasped together at her chest, pleading with him. 

"Tuk Tuk needs a friend! Look at his sad face," Raya said, then pointing to her lap.

Benja finally allowed both his eyelids to open as his gaze fell to Raya's lap. The pill bug also looking up at him with pleading eyes as he silently grunted. "UGHHH," He growled as he shifted to laying on his back, looking up at the ceiling. 

Raya knew her Ba was caving; he just needed a little push. "I realllyyyy think traveling to Fang will give us more time to bound, as the trip there and back is somewhat long by foot..." She grinned as she watched her Ba close his eyes, gulping. "I get to met a serlot cub, and you make up for all the bonding time we've missed this week BECAUSE of your busy schedule."

Benja sat up, a broad grin on his face. "Ohhh, you're good." He chuckled as he nodded yes, Raya screaming in her joy, "I'll take you, but I have to arrange a few things before we go."

Raya nodded her head happily as she threw herself onto her Ba, planting a massive kiss on his cheek.

"Are you excited, Morning Mist?" Virana asked, reaching out and brushing her daughters hair out of her face. Namaari only looking back at her with such excitement.

"So excited!" She purred

"Princess Namaari" Atitaya voice announced, "Cheif Virana, You have vistors."  

Namaari had her back towards the General, but she watched as a wide grin appeared on her mother's face. "Ohh Chief Benja, and Raya! Welcome! It's a pleasure to see you both!"

No sooner had Namaari heard Raya's name had she fallen face down onto the floor, Raya having tackled her from behind. Everywhere Raya was touching, pulsing with a warmness that made Namaari's heart smile.

Raya lifted herself off Namaari, sitting off to the side, smiling as the other sat up looking at her. 

"Dep La! You came?" Namaari asked in disblief. 

Raya only smirked as her most trusted companion rolled off her shoulder onto Namaari's lap. 

Namaari using one hand to gently scratch his forehead as the other massaged his shell tenderly. "Of course! I couldn't miss the day you met your second best friend" Namaari's smile turned into a smirk as her eyebrows went up, challenging Raya's words.

"Who's my first?" Raya gasped as she let a hand fall against her heart.

"I'll just walk back home then," Raya taunted, but she had no intention of leaving.

"Kidding!" They sat on the floor, looking at each other, just smiling at the other. They've been communicating through letters for weeks, so now being able to see each other in person felt like the first sip of ice-cold water on a hot day.

"Princess," Atitaya announced once again, "It's time."

Both girls squealed as Namaari scooped Tuk Tuk into the palms of her hands, standing up. Once Raya was on their feet, she allowed Tuk Tuk to roll onto her shoulder again. Both of them grinning from ear to ear. "I bet I can get there faster than you," Raya stated with a bobbed eyebrow.

"Challenge accepted," Each of them exchanging a glare as they got into their running stance. "1...2...GO," both girls zooming off in opposite directions, as they didn't know where they were headed. 

After realizing none would win, they slowly jogged back to, Atitaya, Virana, and Benja. Who were engaged in conversation, patiently awaiting the return of the silly princesses.

"Aren't you a cutie," Raya purred as she held a female serlot up to her face, rubbing her nose against the kittens.

Namaari was happy; she was having a blast sitting on the floor, surrounded by several kittens, but she couldn't feel a connection. Or a spark. And the longer she sat there petting them, taking in their kitten breath, the more guilty she became. "I can't do this." She exclaimed as she lightly pushed three kittens off her lap, standing up running towards the door.

"Morning, Mist! What's wrong?" Virana said, beginning to chase behind her daughter only to be stopped by Benja gently gripping her arm. Virana raising her eyebrows at him as he motioned with his head towards Raya. Virana instantly understating to allow Raya to handle the outburst.

Raya had instantly placed the kitten down, running after Namaari. Yet as she was about to leave the nursery, she spotted a separate room with even younger serlots. She smiled as she instead walked into the room, looking at the four kittens, her eyes landing on the runt of the litter. 

Raya watched as the other siblings tried to gang up on it, only for the runt to hiss and protect herself. That's when Raya knew that kitten was meant to be Namaari's. So without thinking, she scooped up the kitten and ran for the door. She knew she would be in deep trouble for catnapping the kitten, but Raya had to do this for Namaari.

When Namaari exited the nursery, she walked over to a bench and sat down, throwing her head in her hands. She was overwhelmed by the cuteness, but nothing was clicking into place. She thought that she would feel something within her when she saw a kitten or even held it. Yet, she felt like she was cuddling and playing with someones else pets.

"The Namaari I know never runs away! What happened" Raya announced behind Namaari, watching her shoulders go up and down with every breath. 

Namaari shrugged as she exhaled loudly, disappointed in herself.

Raya chuckled as she stood right behind the other, lowering her voice. "You missed a couple of faces on your way out." Raya gently brought the kitten down on Namaari's head, who seemed startled. "She wanted to meet you, but you left so fast she couldn't say hi," Raya whispered as she brought the cat back up.

After having felt tiny paws on her head, Namaari quickly turned around, finding Raya holding the most petite kitten in her hands. The kitten wasn't very happy with Raya, hissing and scratching her hands as if the cat didn't want to be held.

Suddenly the kitten looked at her, and she felt a desire to hold it and keep it safe. So she reached out, grabbing it from Raya's hands. 

The moment she held the cat within her grasp, the serlot sprung into action, scratching her across the cheek. Instead of getting mad, Namaari chuckled. The kitten didn't attempt to strike her again but did continue to hiss. Even so, Namaari watched the kitten with understanding eyes, realizing the kitten was acting in self-defense, scared that Namaari was going to hurt her.

That's when the pieces made sense. This kitten was no older than a month, but she was extremely small, meaning she was the runt of the pack. Being so tiny makes her a target to her siblings, resulting in her being forced to protect herself from danger.

"It's okay! I'm not going to hurt you," Namaari whispered as she slowly pet the kitten. Its hissing increasing as its back arched, yet Namaari wasn't about to give up.

As the slow movements weren't working, Namaari placed the serlot on her lap. The kitten now tugging and biting on her clothing. She knew this should upset her, but she couldn't help but smile, thinking the whole exchange was adorable.

"Hmmm," she thought out loud as she clicked her tongue. "Of course," she thought as she brought her fingers behind the cat's ear, scratching it with her long nails. Within seconds the serlot had stopped hissing and tugging at her clothes, only purring in contentment. Finally, Namaari had connected with her new companion. 

Raya had watched the whole exchange and had just decided to sit beside the other, her hands occupied by petting Tuk Tuk, "So what are you naming your feisty kitten?" 

Namaari was okay with the rest of the world, seeing this kitten as feistily, maybe a little rude, but Namaari knew that there was a softness in this cat that she was going to enjoy unveiling over time: A softness that would only exist for her. And that was enough. "Thuy"

"That's beautiful," Raya comments as she reaches for the kitten. She was half expecting the serlot to hiss, bite or even starch her but instead, Thuy licked her, "You are gentle, making the name perfect for you." 

The princesses having no knowledge that Thuy would grow to be ice cold to everyone besides Namaari, Raya, and Tuk Tuk, while only tolerating Virana. So to the rest of Kumandra, the name Thuy was unfitting.

Setting: Farrthorne Harbor

Our fortune waits ever on the tide

Setting & Background:  A misty provincial port full of trade and intrigue, the town of Farrthorne got its start as a site of pilgrimage some centuries ago. People wishing to seek advice from a nearby monastery of oracle-astronomers would book passage on vessels that docked in the harbor, and the two establishments, monastery and harbor, grew in symbiosis over the decades. Even kings would come to have their fates read in the stars, some many times throughout their life, some others only as a formality on the occasion of their coronation, an observance  that few have kept up in recent years. 

Despite being at the center of provincial commerce, Farrthorne has a reputation for being archaic and superstitious, a fact the locals are glad to play up for the sake of tourism and getting an edge over their business rivals. 

Who’s Hiring: 

If you’ve information to buy or sell, head on down to the Scrying Glass tavern. located by the dingier side of the docks. While this august establishment once played host to visiting kings and their entourages, it now serves as neutral ground for the many warring criminal, business, and political factions that haunt the harbor. Rumor has it that the tavern’s owner is a disgraced foreign spymaster, and is looking for trusty agents he can add to his ever growing network of informants , but you didn’t hear that from me. 

The Old Crone has just pulled into harbor, and the merchant vessel has never looked worse.  Attacked by pirates while plying the normally safe stretch of waters between Farthorne and the capital, the vessel just barely managed to limp home after its captain and half its crew was slain attempting to prevent the kidnapping of its passengers. No one is sure whether the pirates plan to ransom their prisoners, but bounties are already being posted by the traders and families of the harbor. Cheif among these vengeance seekers is the Crone’s  first mate, who saw his aunt ( the captain) cut down trying to protect her passengers.   If the party performs well, they’ll likely be invited aboard as hands when the vessel is repaired

Despite the local reputation being built on it, not many people still make the journey inland to the old observatory. To this end, the declining order of oracle-astronomers is looking for some help clearing their increasingly ruinous sanctuary of encroaching monsters. The pay well enough, even if their coins are tarnished and outdated, but players may also choose to except part of their earnings in prophecy, perhaps even picking up a little tutelage in divination while they work. 

Rumors and Goingson:

With the young queen’s coronation, everyone in Farthorne is atwitter with speculation: Will she make the journey up the coast to get her stars read? Wasn’t it just terrible what happened to her parents and three older siblings? Has anyone actually checked to make sure the Oracle-Astronomers can still predict the future? What kind of pastries do you think she likes and how soon should we start baking them? 

Despite its reputation as a backwater, Farrthorne has become quite the trendy place among the empire’s artistic set after one of their number spent some time writing poetry there after being exiled from the capital for scandal. The writing went viral, and now portions of the harbor are lousy with poets, rakes, and other trend-seeking members of the petty aristocracy looking for meaning among the surf and shore. 

The farmlands and moors beyond Farthorne are as gloomy and lore-shrouded as the harbor, their rolling hills said to be the resting place of many an ancient king.  While the harbor is given over to augury by the stars, the country people have a very different practice of gaining knowledge, namely a bit of hilltop necromancy around old standing stones in order to evoke the fey and spirits of the mount to come give them visions. All good country fun.
