The audacity of these two holding hands AND not get together in the end?? Criminal I tell you,,
Felt like drawing them again for fun in between commission work. Only because I went through RATLD art book and thought Raya’s blue concept outfit was cute, so I ended up wanting to draw her out in it hdhd

I think it's the first time I draw them like this, although it's difficult to draw kisses...
On the other hand I remembered that I hadn't drawn Namaari for a long time with the change of haircut I made for her

I rewatched Raya and the last dragon. Then i listened to love songs and... poof ! I drew this 😂
I don't have any explainations, I just drew it. I know Namaari is the taller one but hey it's funnier to draw her as the clingy one !

I'll make a christmas version on that one, because all I want for christmas is you 💕😂

Namaari: I don’t get why you’re so irritated. I’m helping strengthen the bond between Fang and Heart
Virana, trying not to have an aneurysm: by making out with Heart’s princess?
Namaari: the bond is stronger, mother.

What Even is Capitalism? A Beginners' Guide.
Tumblr media
We hear about capitalism all the time, whether it’s about how it’s ruining the world or saving it. It's one of the major forces that shape the world we live into today. Capitalism is an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit. This system has seen its fair share of both critics and admirers, but it still stands as the major economic force that drives societies like the United States, among others.
The main quality that contrasts capitalism from other economic ideologies is that in a capitalist society, businesses are run completely independent from the government and are owned by private companies. There are a few core values in capitalism. Individuals are able to own property that is entirely their own, markets can operate freely without supervision from the government (i.e. the government doesn’t force companies to sell iPhones for $1000), and instead of the government deciding how goods should be manufactured, demand will lead what goods are put into production. Lastly, companies will be motivated to innovate based on profit. Think of setting up a lemonade stand in your front yard, then keeping the profits you make from it.
Capitalism lets competition drive value and production, as opposed to a government-imposed value. Picture a scenario where you start selling bracelets. Under capitalism, you’re able to decide how many bracelets you want to make, how you want to make them, and how much you want to sell them for. Capitalism also allows for companies to create more efficient ways of performing tasks, such as innovating some new tweezers in order to thread the beads onto the string more easily. This is the main idea of how capitalism works, as opposed to the government telling you how many bracelets to make and how to make them.
Capitalism has many advantages, such as encouraging innovation, as we just explained. One example of this is shown with companies such as Apple. Apple is encouraged to “innovate” each year with a new iPhone release in order to receive a monetary reward. Waste is minimized compared to other economic structures, because supply is calculated based on demand and not on what the government thinks the supply should be. People are able to choose what they want to buy, “voting” with their dollar and creating product variety.
Although capitalism has advantages in certain aspects, it has downfalls as well. The biggest being, from my point of view, that the need for monetary reward sometimes causes companies to cut too many corners in order to maximize efficiency. An example from history is Nike (resulting from wanting to boost the company's efficiency during the mid-1990’s), who violated workers' rights by creating sweatshops abroad in China, Taiwan, and South Korea. This was done in the interest of maximizing profits. Is it worth letting people decide how they are going to make products if they're just going to use it to violate human rights? In addition, capitalism allows for the significant wealth inequality we see in America today. To help understand this better, let's recall the lemonade stand. Imagine one person lives in a nicer house across the street, and starts a lemonade stand with fancy signs and lemonade machines. The less-wealthy family across the street works just as hard (possibly even harder), making homemade signs and hand squeezing the lemons. The person in the nicer house who had more resources will sell more lemonade, while the person across the street doesn’t have any chance to catch up, despite the fact that they worked equally as hard. Finally, highlighted in the documentary Buy Now: The Shopping Conspiracy, companies rarely, if ever, plan for the end of the product life cycle, due to the fact that setting up recycling centers is not profitable. This raises a series of environmental concerns. The documentary also points out that many companies have climate initiatives, in order to stay on the good side of the public and to keep customers from taking their business elsewhere. However, it says the companies are not doing nearly enough compared to how much harm they are causing.
Capitalism remains today as the main economic system the world uses. It relies on a free market and supply and demand. It has some advantages, but with those, many downfalls.
What do you think of capitalism? Anything I missed? Is capitalism the best system we can work with, or is there one that’s preferable to it? Let me know in the comments!

Raya: *Drunk af and hanging off Namaari* Ya know, we should make out right now. *drunken, snorting giggles*
Namaari: *amused blushing* That sounds pretty gay, Raya. *holds her closer* Raya: *twirling her finger around in big, ever decreasing circles* Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyou're a pretty gay. *boops her nose* :D Namaari: *blushing harder* O-oh...thank you. Um...so are you! Hahahahahaahha! Is it hot in here? *awkwardly tugging at her collar* Raya: You're hot in here! Hueheuehuehuehuehuehuehueheuhe. ;) Namaari: *blushing even more deeply* Sisu: Aren't you two like, married? Namaari: *speaking through her teeth as Raya climbs all over her and gets handsy* That's not the point, Sisu!
