Architect!RE2R!Leon x Boss!Reader
Tags - fluff, making out (it's short tho), office romance
“Good morning everyone! Picked up some coffee so we can all start the day right!,” Rebecca cheerfully chirps as she enters the office. She stops by everyone’s desks, placing paper cups of steaming hot coffee with their names before knocking at your door, the company’s COO. “Come in!,” you call out. She enters the organized office, spotting you sitting on your office chair and turning your work computer on. She notices a steaming hot paper cup on your desk, along with a brown pastry bag. “Got you some coffee but turns out you’ve already got a cup in. Oops,” she says with an apologetic grin. “It’s fine. I could use the extra caffeine anyways,” you respond with a polite smile. She leaves the cup on your desk before turning back to the door, walking out the office when she spots Leon come in.
“Mornin’ Leon!” “Good morning, Rebecca!”
Rebecca walks over to her desk and decides to officially start her day, answering emails and editing the current contracts that've been assigned to the company. Soon, the noise of chatter is drowned out by the clickity-clack of keyboards and ringing landlines. The morning can get busy very soon, not that they mind; the company does a swell job of making sure its employees are doing alright and are managing to balance their personal and work lives. People pour in and out of Y/N’s office, hoping to get her opinion or approval on a project before having their ideas sent to the CEO (aka Y/N’s dad). Most of the time, their ideas align perfectly so her approval could be seen as a sign that he’ll approve it too. It’s now break and everyone rises from their seats to stretch and get up to grab a bite.
“I’ll go ask Y/N if she wants to go grab lunch with us,” Leon offers just as Rebecca gets up. Rebecca nods before responding, “Okay. I’ll go join the others already.”
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
“She’s busy consulting with the engineers and said she's sorry and will make it up to everyone with drinks one of these days,” Leon explains before digging into a breakfast bagel. Despite it being lunch time, he prefers to have breakfast foods.
“Did she ask for help? I can help her out since I’ve got a blueprint or two to review then I'm done” Claire offers. Leon shakes his head but says that he thinks she’ll accept Claire’s offer anyway. The group continued chatting over their respective meals until it got to the topic of their coffee consumption.
“My brother is a beast– out here chugging protein shakes and coffee. I’m surprised he isn’t having a heart attack whilst I’m out here palpitating with two cups,” Claire pipes in.
“I don’t know what’s worse: your brother’s caffeine consumption or the sheer amount of sugar and creamer Rebecca puts in her coffee,” Jill jokes, earning a playful smack to the shoulder from Rebecca. “At this point it’s 99% sugar and a measly 1% coffee. How you’re not diabetic is beyond me!”
“Life’s too short to not absolutely go crazy with sugar and creamer, let me have my fun!,” Rebecca retorts and earns good-natured laughter from the table.
“How about you, Leon? How do you like your coffee?,” Claire asks.
“I’m not too picky with coffee. I’ll take anything,” Leon responds.
“Hmm. You’re just like Y/N; I just get her whatever kind of coffee and she always takes it,” Rebecca responds.
“Y/N? Oh she doesn’t like or drink coffee,” Leon corrects. Jill nearly chokes on her muffin when Leon says those words, eyes slightly widened. “Really? She’s the first person I have ever come across that doesn’t like or drink coffee.”
“But she literally accepted all the coffees I got for her!,” Rebecca says. “Wait… what if she just accepted them to look polite or nice–”
“Knowing her, she probably did that to not hurt your feelings or something…,” Jill softly says.
“She could’ve told me she doesn’t drink coffee. I would’ve gotten her a hot cocoa instead,” Rebecca says. “Guys, do I look intimidating? What if she just took the drinks because my outgoing-ness is intimidating her? We do know she usually keeps to herself too–”
“You’re the least intimidating person I know, Rebecca,” Jill responds. “She might’ve done that because she felt kind of bad… or something– I don’t know–”
“And how do you know that, Leon?,” Claire asks with slightly narrowed eyes, leaning into the table while resting her head on her hand.
Now everyone in the table is sitting in silence, curious gazes focused on Leon as to how he knows that. You've never talked about her preferences in food and drink– it’s not even on the company website. They don’t think it’s ever been mentioned anywhere.
“Oh, you know– we talk,” Leon responds with a neutral tone. “Oh my God Leon you almost got yourself killed! Calm down, calm down. They won’t catch on,” Leon thinks to himself.
“Talk? Talk like how?,” Jill asks.
“‘Talk’ as in we’re just coworkers who decided to strike up a random conversation whilst working on a blueprint that one time,” Leon says. He would’ve looked calm and composed– unaffected even, if it wasn’t for the tips of his ears flushing pink and his subconscious leg jiggle. “What?” Leon asks as Rebecca and Claire shoot him smirks that scream “is it what we’re thinking?”. “Can’t a guy and girl talk like they’re just coworkers?”
“You have a point,” Claire replies but Leon doesn’t miss how her blue-green gaze falls on his pinkish ears. They decided to drop the topic, much to Leon’s massive relief. “That was a close one, Leon. Careful next time,” he thinks to himself. Well, you two did more than just talk that day– no, not in that way; you exchanged numbers, began hanging around each other more frequently until you two took secretly took things to another level. Since there was only 15 minutes left before their break was over, they decided to leave early and go up to their office.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
“Hey baby,” you softly say as you walk over to Leon’s cubicle. The others had already gone, the office dark except for Leon’s spot. He had stayed overtime to finish up a model so he would be free for the weekend.
“Hi,” Leon softly said as he pressed a tender kiss to your cheek. “Stayed a little later to finish the playground but I don’t regret it one bit if it means some time spent with you.”
“Congrats for making my heart race a million miles per hour,” you giggle. Leon shoots you a flirty wink before he finishes up packing his bag. “Ready to go, milady?”
“Let’s go,” you respond. You two leave the dark office, looking around for anyone lingering. You part your hands from his temporarily, making sure no one catches you holding hands with an employee; it’s not exactly rule-breaking to be fraternizing with an employee but it is highly discouraged. More importantly, it’s not exactly the best of look to be caught in such an act especially when you’re the daughter of the head of this entire company.
“Coast clear?” Leon whispers, to which you nod. Giggling like two school children who just confessed their crushes to each other, you two make your way down the dark hallways hand in hand. Leon kept stealing glances at you, a nerdy but hopelessly in love smile plastered on his face. Despite the lack of lights, you could accurately guess that there’s a glimmer in Leon’s eyes whenever he looked at you like you’re the sun, which you kind of are since you lit up his world.
Not too long after, you two get in your car. After starting the engine, Leon suggested that you two take his car so he could open the door for you and be the one to treat you lavishly, to which you responded with a small nod and an “I’ll think about it”. Leon connected his phone to your car’s bluetooth speakers, going to his Spotify and picking out a playlist he made that reminded him of you. Upon hearing the lyrics of the song, a warmth crawled up your cheeks and manifested in the form of a soft pink glow. Seeing your reaction, Leon beamed brightly as he leaned back in his seat.
“You know it’s your birthday next week,” Leon says, breaking the comfortable silence that settled between you two.
“Yeah, it is. Why, you wanna know what I want for a gift?,” you ask.
“Maybe, maybe not.”
“Oh then I guess just wear a light pink ribbon on your hair and call yourself a gift. Your presence in my life is the best present ever.”
“God that’s so cheesy,” he says with a small laugh. He keeps his gaze trained on the tall buildings around you two because he knows he’s going to scream like a girl if he looks at you once more. “It’s not a bad suggestion though.”. After a few minutes, you two finally reach Leon’s condominium.
“Good night baby, see you tomorrow,” you say whilst pulling him in for a kiss.
“Night, Y/N. Text me when you get back, okay?,” he says. You nod before he finally waves bye and shuts the door.
You’ll definitely be sending him some texts.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
After another entire week of staying overtime and finally finishing the mountain of work assigned to you, you finally get up from your chair to move your body a little bit. This day went great: meetings went smoothly, everything on your planner happened, and most importantly, it’s your birthday. Of course, your father and those close to him greeted you and though you didn’t mind if someone know (or doesn't know) your birthday, the gesture warmed your heart.
“Baby?,” Leon called out.
“Huh? Leon?,” you asked. He emerged from the dark, a dainty bouquet of pink and white tulips in his hand, along with a card. Just as you recommended last week, there’s a baby pink ribbon clipped on his hair.
“Oh you didn’t have to–”
“I didn’t have to but I wanted to,” he says before pulling you in for a slow, tender kiss.
“Happy birthday to my only girl.”
Words won’t ever show how truly thankful you are for this gesture so you show it through actions. You pull him in for a hungry kiss, hands travelling to his black tie to loosen it up. Leon places your gifts on your desk, his finally unoccupied hands going to his own tie to help you loosen it faster. You kick your heels off, legs wrapping around his waist as the kisses slowly become more heated and passionate. His hand travels to your blazer, nimble fingers quickly wo–
“Happy birthday, Y/N–”
“WOAH WHAT THE FUCK.”
“CLAIRE PLEASE DON’T DROP THE CAKE.”
“LEON! Y/N?!”
You quickly push Leon off of you and get back up, fixing your hair and feeling around your clothes for any unclasped buttons or pulled down zippers. Embarrassment rushes through your veins, your heart lodged in your throat. Leon’s embarrassed too– shimmery pink lip gloss smeared on his lips, blond hair ruffled, and his tie hanging loose around his neck. His entire face is red and suddenly it’s not so bad if the ground collapses and swallows him up (though he prefers if you swallow him up but now is not the time).
“Uh… hey guys!,” you chirp with an awfully fake smile.
“Hi guys– we were–,” Leon stammers, hand behind his neck.
“Hey guys, if you were busy… we can… we can wait outside…,” Jill awkwardly mumbles, eyeing the poorly hidden bouquet on the desk.
“Yeah… we can wait outside the building if it’ll be noisy too,” Rebecca adds, which causes Leon to almost choke on air and for you to stare at her discombobulated.
“NO– No guys, you can um– now is fine, I promise–,” you stammer. Leon follows suit, trying to make it look as if you two weren’t interrupted in the worst way possible.

NOTE - I saw the reception of my first fic in here and it's looking positive so far so thank you very much! The likes, reblogs, and new followers mean so much to me and I seriously started contemplating telling my parents that I write (I'm so not telling them lmao). Lexi and Ash in the Gateway
??? I have not used silk ???
Here's a repetitive bit from my fantasy short story
Coffee talk
Where are Lexi and Ash?
Lexi attempts to climb
Gwen meets Akash
Wade punches Parker
Soft - from The Secret Portal Part One (Lexi POV)
We sat in the middle of a seemingly endless field. The grass that stretched in each direction appeared freshly mowed, though it lacked the smell that usually came with it. Instead, a chillingly sterile air hit my nose. “Ash,” I asked, low-key freaking out, “where are we?” Ash looked around. “Where did—how did we get here? Where’s the school?” I couldn’t answer. The sun that had been burning in the late afternoon was no longer casting a deathly heat paired with Houston humidity. In fact, looking up, the burning mass seemed to be missing, despite the sky being a soft periwinkle.
Sapphire - from "Fantasy Short Story Take Two"
Silk - N/A
“With this emerald, I bring another year of peace to the Fairy Realm.” Thalia raised her scepter, placing her gem on top. A blinding green light surrounded it. She flew back, and Maylin took her place. “With this topaz, I replenish the power of the Fairy Realm.” Maylin’s golden stone flashed an amber-gold halo. “With this amethyst,” Almehda commanded, “I preserve the lifeforce of the Fairy Realm!” “With this sapphire,” said Rychell, “I bless good health in all corners of the Fairy Realm.” “With this diamond,” announced Ettrian, “I bring truth across the Fairy Realm.” “With this pearl,” Beluar said strongly, “I grant knowledge to the people of the Fairy Realm.” A white blast of light flashed throughout the room. Beluar turned and nodded at Nyana. She fluttered forward, her heart beating rapidly.
Sugar - from The Secret Portal Part Two (Hye-Jin POV)
Noelle looked down at my singular glass. “What’s that?” “Protein shake,” I answered. “Honestly, I can’t have much this early in the morning. I get sick otherwise.” “You don’t drink coffee?” Noelle asked as the replicator dinged with her breakfast. “No,” I said. “Never found a need for it, and it’s a little bitter.” “We could experiment with different combinations and proportions of sugar, milk, creamer, whatever.” Noelle sat down at the table in front of me. “But if you don’t need it, that’s fine.”
Time - from The Secret Portal Part One (Maddie POV)
“Ash said her stepmom would be here,” said Rose, peeking around the corner to the tennis court, “but I don’t see her car.” “Well, maybe they had to stay after class,” Noelle said. “Or Mary’s stuck in traffic. This is nothing to worry about, Maddie. My mom’s late all the time.” I pressed my lips together. Falcon was on a busy road. “Maybe Lexi was held back by that crazy gray-eyed teacher,” I thought aloud. “Ms. Moon?” Gwen asked. “Lexi’s in her final class,” Rose pointed out, “so that’s possible.” “Or, Lexi just didn’t answer her phone,” said Noelle. “But she always does that!” I protested.
Place - from The Secret Portal Part One (Lexi POV)
Putting the ring temporarily on my finger, I ran forward to place my hands on the vines, ready to climb up—fight or flight kicking in and for some reason choosing fight. I set my boots up against the tree—not sure what I was planning—and I attempted to climb, but wasn’t that athletic outside of afternoon bike rides, and my boots just slipped. It didn’t help that the vines started curling themselves against me, crawling up my forearms. “Ash, I’m coming!” I said more to myself. My hands were still fists on the vines, and I tried to pull myself upward. Why did I think this was a good idea? “Just go away!” I hissed at a vine enclosing my thigh as I tried to shake it off. In an instant, a flash of teal light wrapped itself around the vines. I yelped again as I slipped off the tree trunk and landed on the forest floor—thankfully my climbing endeavors had failed in that regard.
When - from The Secret Portal Part One (Gwen POV)
“Hey, who’re you?” a voice said. I looked around, trying to find the owner of the voice when my eyes finally rested on a boy. He was probably a year or so older than me with dark brown skin. He had short and spiky hair and his ears stuck out a little. He wore a yellow polo t-shit over a long-sleeved white shirt and dark-blue jeans. It took a moment to realize the boy was at eye level while I hung from the ceiling. I looked down and saw the boy’s feet were a good ten feet from the ground. He was floating.
Where - from The Secret Portal Part One (Gwen POV)
“Do it!” Parker said to the blond without missing a step. “Man, I don’t—” “You gotta practice, Wade.” Parker reared back his arms over his shoulder before thrusting forward, his arms out and stance strong. A strong wind blew across the room, and I could feel it from where I stood. Wade’s hair blustered around his face, and he held up his arms in a protective “X” in front of his face. He pushed forward against the wind. Once close to Parker, Wade punched the kid in the face, sending Parker over the barricade. I let out a squeak of alarm, bringing my hands up to my mouth as Parker crumpled beside me. As I wondered if I’d have to perform more first aid, and despite the blood on his face, Parker laughed.

okay I know it is psl season and we're tryna look dainty in our sweaters but you need protein so here is my psl recipe for yall
Coffee grounds of choice (i like trader Joe's pumpkin spice blend, but also the donut shop medium roast)
**i really suggest brewing a pot of coffee or brewing a moccapot espresso shot, it tastes better than a k-cup. if you're using a keurig, get a STRONG coffee like cafe bustelo**
1 premier ready to drink shake in pumpkin spice. if you're drinking your coffee hot it needs to be room temp so it blends. if you're doing iced or blending, make sure it's cold. don't use powder, it'll clump up. you're using this in place of creamer.
cinnamon for a garnish, cause you're fancy ✨️
serve hot or over ice, 30g of protein, 170 cals. now you're full AND caffeinated.
you're welcome.

Stiles gets hired as a music and Home-Ec teacher at the high school where Derek is a coach. Derek makes fun of him for the subjects he teaches and because Stiles isn’t in the best shape. Stiles gets revenge by fattening up coach Derek.
Looking back, Derek is embarrassed by how easily he was manipulated. Everyone at the school likes Stiles over the grumpy phys ed teacher who takes his job too easily. Stiles holds back the athletes after class until Derek comes storming in demanding to know where they are...and leaves with a "sorry...have some apology baked goods!" The other teachers pretend like they don't see Stiles in the staff room fridge mixing appetite stimulants and high calorie creamer into Derek's coffee and protein shakes. The students happily use the excuse to get out of class to bring notes and food to the gym. Stiles flirting and flattering his way into Derek's life, and before long the messy makeout sessions in the locker room before games turns into Stiles pouring protein shakes down Derek's throat until his stomach is bloated and round...then gives it a slap with a "go get 'em coach!" and a cheery grin and Derek grunts and heads out to meet his players. Weekends spend in bed where Derek would usually hit the gym and instead has Stiles for his cardio...and then Stiles makes him a breakfast in bed that guarantees Derek slips into a food coma until it's time for round 2 (and lunch). At school, no one mentions to him that his shorts are ridiculously tight around his growing bubble butt or that his T-shirt is rising up to his belly button when he's stalking around the field blowing the whistle. They all ignore mentioning that he comes running halfway across the field and has to stop and catch his breath now... And all the staff and students alike pretend NOT to know their coach is blowing up like a balloon because Stiles can't stand him. Even with their "not so secret relationship" Derek is constantly teasing Stiles because "the arts don't deserve as much funding" and "Stiles could do with some sports himself...." like he doesn't notice he's already 50lbs heavier than he was last year. Stiles starts pulling more and more of the school into it and Derek doesn't even realize, just thinks they're all clearly into him because sports are so important. Eventually, he figures out what's happening. ...but it's too late by then. He's in his office, on the locker room bench he'd been using for a chair because his ass wouldn't fit in the chairs any longer, shoveling 3 dozen students' worth of Home-Ec baked goods into his mouth. All the while Stiles is grabbing handfuls of his belly and love handles as he wraps the measuring tape around Derek's middle. The special 80" tape measure Stiles ordered isn't long enough.

i need helpppppp bc i know ur a gym girly but i’ve been trying to lose weight and eat better especially breakfast 😭 i start school at 8:30 and leave at 2:30 and i don’t eat any lunch at school because i just don’t like the cafeteria but i also don’t want my stomach to grumble 😭😭 do u have any healthy filling breakfast ideas?🤧
tw weight loss and food mention under the cut !
okay so, i always struggle w breakfast tbh but if i eat a filling breakfast im good for like four-five hours. its also good to keep in mind that 1) it will take time for your body to get used to so DON’T be discouraged if it doesn’t work right away and 2) depending on how early/late you eat you will want to have lunch at a certain time. i find for me, eating breakfasting between 8-9 causes me to get hungry around 12-2. protein is superrrrrr good for keeping you full, so i like to make myself any type of eggs. i usually make myself about three, and i will either scramble them or make an omelette. and i usually like to have it with avocado toast or fruit !!! i also make myself a protein coffee in the morning (it’s just a premier protein shake i used as creamer with black coffee).
if you tend to get hungry between breakfast and lunch, bring fruit or frozen veggies to snack on! it’s also good to remember when you eat to go slowly, and drink water in between bites (this just helps me so i don’t eat my food so fast). hope this helps lovey !!

Protein shake coffee isn’t bad, thanks TikTok. Basically it’s just using a protein shake as creamer in your coffee so I’m using Premier Protein’s Salted Caramel Popcorn in my Bones Salty Siren (aka salted caramel mocha). I’m slowly losing weight which it’s supposed to be slow and steady so that’s good. I need to get back to working out, it got derailed when I went out of town and then had medical stress and was sick. I know excuses. I didn’t have a loss my bday week because I was bad and ate cake, but I didn’t gain either so I’ll take it.

Breakfast: 2 cups coffee with 1 serving pumpkin pie creamer (yum) (25) and most of a vegan protein shake (i finished it with dinner but I'll count it here) (200)
Lunch: 3 sliced tomatoes (12), 1 cup tomato mozzarella salad with a drizzle of pesto (184) and a diet coke (0)
After work I had a prickly pear beer with my work girlfriends (130)
Dinner: 1 slice of rye toast (180), half an avocado (120), 4 slices tomato (16), an over easy egg (90), and the remainder of my protien shake from this morning
My total intake was 957, I worked off at least 293, leaving me at a net 664 for the day. Much better than yesterday!
Tumblr media
Two of my girlfriends at work are sisters and they invited me to a party this weekend, it makes me happy that I was the first name on their list but the thought of eating in front of people is gut-wrenching. When I asked the older sister what she'd like me to bring, initially I offered to bring a snacking veggie platter but she said they were already planning on providing that so at least I know I'll have something I can calculate/eat without much guilt.
My boyfriend and I like to cook together on the weekends (we currently live separately so he stays with me Saturday night through Monday morning/afternoon depending on his work) and he told me he wants to make veggie burgers. It makes me nervous because he wants to take the lead, meaning I don't know the recipe/stats, but I'm sure I can ask where he found the recipe/do some digging to figure it out. I told him he can focus on the main and I'll make the side, I'm thinking oven-baked zuchinni fries if I find a recipe I like! What I'll more than likely have to do going forward is use Sundays (the day we're together for the entirety of) as a metabolism day once I get my average intake lower because that man likes to EAT

For anyone who wants to recover on their own but isn't sure how, here's how I plan to do it once I reach my ugw
Look up how many calories you need to maintain the weight you are at
Increase your calories by 100 every week or 2 weeks until you are at that number (some examples are switching from sugar free coffee creamer to regular coffee creamer, adding more protein powder in smoothies etc. and you can always add a protein shake but make sure you add lots of protein)
Other examples are switching from nonfat to low-fat yogurt, then to full fat yogurt. Adding granola to yogurt is also a great way to increase calories. Adding an egg to whatever breakfast you eat. If you already eat eggs for breakfast try adding low-fat yogurt or toast with peanut butter. You can even use wheat bread so you're still being healthy
Once a week, have a bite of a fear food. A candy bar, pasta, take out etc. Then throw it away or find someone in your life who will take it.
Switch to easy bodyweight/weightlifting workouts, it will help you put on lean muscle so when you do gain weight(it won't be that much) it doesn't really look like you've gain. It will be slightly more than if you were putting on fat instead but you will look mostly the same, just healthier
Every morning, write down what you want out of recovery. "I want to be able to go out with friends and not worry about how I look or the food I will eat" "I want to grow my hair" "I want to be stronger" etc. even if it's the same every morning, write it down
Start journaling. Before anyone groans (which I totally understand if you do) I know more than anyone how annoying being told to journal is. It's been shoved down my throat my whole life. But this journal has a purpose. Every time you are triggered, seeing someone skinny, a fight with someone who affects you, abuse etc. You write down what happened, why you are triggered, what your immediate response is (like, "I'm never eating again" or "I need to reduce my calorie intake). Why that's a bad idea (it will only make me feel worse in the long run, etc) and what you can do instead and why it's a good idea, (I'm going to crochet because the repetitiveness relaxes me. Im going to draw my frustrations to get these negative thoughts out of my head etc)
One thing I learned in ed rehab is throwing things like ice and apples. If you don't want to waste food, get some ice and throw it at something hard, (pavement, concrete etc). If you cannot do this because of strict parents or other reasons, write down why you are upset on a piece of paper and tear it up into little pieces, crumple it up etc. you can do this right over a trash can with no mess
Have good messages around you, it can be quotes or things you come up with yourself.
Stop looking in the mirror, I know it's hard, but I promise it will help. Don't stop completely, try to limit it to looking at yourself in the mirror once a week, for no more than a minute. If you have any negative thoughts about your body, close your eyes and imagine doing something to that thought to kill it, then replace it with something neutral ("I have arms and legs" "I have a jawbone" "I have internal organs" "my legs are used to walk and get me places") you can replace with positive ones right away if you want, but I know that's hard for a lot of people including me. So if you can't, start with neutral ones and once you become more neutral about your body then start adding one positive thing each week
Do not weigh yourself. I know that's hard as well, as someone who weighs in every day rn it's going to be difficult. But you can do it. If you can, get rid of your scale. If not, that's totally okay, you can still learn to not weigh yourself. Figure out the time you normally weigh yourself (for me it's right after I wake up, usually in the morning around 8) and replace that with doing something you enjoy a lot (watching a YouTube video, playing with your pet, being in nature etc) make sure it's something you can get engrossed in. For each day you don't weigh yourself mark it with something, I'm going to do paper stars but you can do tallies, sticky notes etc.
If you do weigh yourself and it triggers you, distract distract distract. Read a book, watch a really funny movie etc. anything fun to get your mind off the numbers.
Having scheduled mealtimes with rough plans about what you will eat can help. For example, set alarms for times you want each meal to be (breakfast at 9, lunch at 1, dinner at 6 etc) then write down a very rough meal plan (example, eggs with a drink and peanut butter toast). Even if you cant stick to the meal plan, have something. Celery and peanut butter, protein bar, protein shake etc.
This one is really hard, but try not to let other people bring you down. I know a lot of ed's are the result of abuse, family issues etc. remind yourself they have no claim on the way you live your life. A normal, stable person does not try to control, put down or harm a person for simply existing. You are better than they ever will be, so don't let them hurt you because they are nothing but petty idiots who make themselves feel better by putting others down
Keep yourself busy. Don't let yourself have time for negative thoughts and behaviors. Hobbies, movies, tv shows. Be doing something most of the time
Yoga may help. I know it sounds cliche but it might help your relationship with your body. Learning yoga poses and moves is a great way to be proud of something your body can do. Plus, it's a good way to become aware of your body without looking in a mirror. Focusing on the muscle groups needed and breathing is a good exercise.
This is optional, and certainly not for everyone. If you find that w33d helps your appetite and mood, you can try it to help make you hungry and focus less on the ed thoughts. You do not need it to recover on your own, it's just a tool. I will personally be using it. If you do want to use w33d to help your journey I suggest a sativa dominant hybrid or something that's 50/50. If you don't already partake but would like to use it on your journey. I suggest finding people who also partake and becoming friends with them. I don't know what it's like to have no one in your life who does it because I have always known people who do. Make sure wherever you get it from is reputable. You may be able to find recs for people in your area to buy from if you can't get it from a d1spensary. I don't get mine myself, but someone I know gets it for me so you could try that if you think anyone would be willing.
Be forgiving. Recovery isn't linear and you are going to make mistakes, everyone does. Perfection does not exist for humans because we will always have flaws, perfection is the absence of flaws.
Beauty is subjective. If everyone was solely attracted to the beauty standard then non conventionally attractive people wouldn't be in relationships. But they are, because no matter what you look like there will be at least 100 people who find you the hottest person alive. Keep this in your mind. And if you have a partner encouraging weight loss and they know you struggle with an ED or you aren't 900 pounds. Then dump them, they don't deserve you. No partner with staying with will try to change you to their liking. They will love you for who you are and will only support changes you want to make to make yourself better. Just to be clear, if you are 900 pounds or considered overweight by medical professionals only, you deserve recovery just as much as anyone else. Recovery isn't about weight, it's about your health and relationship with food. Having a healthy relationship with food and getting sufficient exercise will cause weight loss on its own. If you're unsure, look up a healthy weight for your height and age, then look up the maintenance calories for it, then make that your goal you work up towards.
If you have a partner (bf/gf/SO), open up to them about your Ed and your desire to recover. They will be one of your most valuable assets. If they brush you off, put you down or don't believe you, dump them. That's not a true partner. It's one thing to not know how to help, it's an entirely different thing to ignore your partners feelings and struggles. Your partner doesn't have to do much, just be there for you. Maybe you eat together, maybe you cook together. Maybe they face time you while you eat to help distract you. Maybe they just provide words of encouragement "you're doing great" "im here for you on this journey".
Friends can be just as valuable a resource as a partner. If you don't have a partner or want extra support, open up to your friends. If you don't have any friends you can trust, join an online recovery group.
Ask people in your life to avoid comments about your body, positive or negative. Most people worth knowing will try their best to adhere to this, they will mess up sometimes but they will try. If they think it's stupid and won't try, then cut them off if you can. It's not that hard to avoid. (Instead of body compliments, clothes/hair/makeup/nails/achievements may work, like "your hair looks great today" "love your nail polish/nail art" "your makeup is awesome" "your outfit is cute/cool/awesome" etc.
If people in your life refuse to try not commenting on your body and you can't get away, they are normally trying to provoke you, put you down and/or make themselves feel better about their shitty life. When they comment something bad, simply reply, "okay" and repeat. Don't look at them if you can and keep a neutral expression. Or you could go for an overly cheery okay and look them in the eyes with the most genuine smile you can muster, then compliment them. It may make them uncomfortable. It's up to you to decide which one will work best for the person in your life.
No more negative Ed media. If you can, no Instagram or Tumblr. If you can't, delete your Tumblr and create a new one specifically for recovery or non Ed interests block any th1nspo tags you can think of and try putting other interests in your feed as well, like video games, books or fandoms. For Instagram, go through your following and block any ed accounts that aren't recovery based. If you are friends, send them a message saying that you are going into recovery and you are getting rid of all ties to negative Ed media. If you think you can keep contact with Tumblr/Instagram/Twitter mutuals, do it through a neutral app like snap, messenger or discord. If you have Ed Twitter follow the same steps as you do for Tumblr. Delete and create a new account.
If you have the ability, therapy. Doesn't specifically have to be for an ED, but learning how to cope with what life throws at you will help you get far. If you are unable/unwilling to do therapy, do your own. Free dbt workbooks, YouTube videos, texting your crisis hotline etc. these are all things you can do to teach yourself how to cope with life. Unfortunately trauma recovery is very hard to do without therapy, so I would suggest YouTube videos and if you can afford to purchase them, self help books about trauma.
Delete all triggering things from your phone, th1nspo pics, personal b0dy ch3cks etc.
That's all I got, remember this is not a set in stone thing. You can pick and choose what you think will work for you. Everyone deserves recovery, if you have Ed behaviors (restr1cting, b1nging, purg3ing) then you are sick enough, no matter what anyone tells you.

14, 37, and 41 for the weirder asks <3
14. Do you love the smell of earth after it rains?
I’m on mobile and can’t do the link thingy but I answered this one! Short answer: yes. Long answer available on my previous post 😏
37. Someone in your life, other than a relative, you’ve known for 10+ years?
I met my three best friends - Kellen, Susannah and Zac - 11 years ago as a freshman/sophomore in college. Been buddies ever since, and dear gods how did I get this old.
41. How do you take your coffee?
Just about any way it’s served to me. If I’m at somebody’s house, I usually use milk or creamer. If I order a coffee at a coffee shop, I usually get a hot latte with almond milk and some form of vanilla syrup (unless I know for a fact they have good iced coffee - I have Trauma™️ related to the taste of cold milk (another story entirely) and I hate cold coffee when the milk flavor is too strong). If I’m at Starbucks (which I usually never am) I get the iced oatmilk shaken espresso thing. If I’m at home, I make a pot of black coffee and pour a protein shake into it for creamer - I take it hot or iced depending on time of year, but I’ve been drinking it iced right now. So the moral of the story is as long as it doesn’t taste like cold milk or rocket fuel, I’ll drink coffee just about any way I can get it. (That was the question, right? I’ve been rambling about caffeine too long to remember.)

Hey there! Ghoul here, coming back to you with another what I eat in a dayyyy, so already started this day off supppper productively. So honestly I’m proud of myself for that. One of the things about addressing my all or nothing thinking just about tiny things is just, living in the moment, it can literally apply to anything. Since I personally struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder, I honestly had no idea how much my black or white thinking just impacted my daily life decisions, especially food. This is good or bad, this is too much or too little, this is healthy this is unhealthy. Everything has a balance, there is a grey area, you can take different foods and put them into a healthy balanced way to just nourish your body. Nothing is good or bad, it’s always how it’s used. Okay, after that, lets get into what I ate today~ >.<
Breakfast~
Tumblr media
Toast with cream cheese, cucumber, with a egg on top, side of nuts and apple slices
Snack~
Tumblr media
Veggie wrap(apple, bell pepper, cucumber, cream cheese) dipped in PB sauce (10/10)
Lunch~
Tumblr media
Chicken rice salad bowl with veggies and potatoes
Snack~
Tumblr media
A few apple slices, small handful of chips(after the pic was taken), and nuts
Dinner~
Tumblr media
Chicken sandwich from Carl’s Jr., cucumber, bell pepper, rice salad
Drinks~
Protein coffee
Water throughout the day
Pumpkin spice tea with protein shake as creamer
Half of a protein shake
So today ended a bit on the less productive side, I was kind of tired just from not getting the best sleep. Overall though, in my personal opinion for myself, today went pretty well. I don’t have much to say tonight other than, you deserve to take care of yourself, you deserve to be happy, and you deserve to heal <3
As always, good luck on your journey, and until next time~

Exploring the Growth Trajectory of the Medium Chain Triglycerides Market: Trends, Opportunities, and Future Outlook
Medium Chain Triglycerides: An Essential Fat for Optimal Health Introduction Medium-chain triglycerides, commonly known as MCTs, are a type of saturated fatty acid that has many unique health benefits. MCTs are derived mainly from coconut and palm kernel oils and contain fatty acids that are 6-12 carbon atoms in length. Chemical Composition of MCTs The two most abundant MCTs are caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). Compared to other fats, MCTs are more easily digested and absorbed. When consumed, MCTs are sent directly to the liver from the digestive tract where they are used as a quick source of energy or converted into ketones to be used as fuel by the body. They do not require bile or pancreatic enzymes for breakdown and absorption like other fats. Health Benefits of MCTs Due to their unique properties, MCTs offer a variety of health benefits. Some key benefits include: Weight Management: Medium chain triglycerides have been shown to increase feelings of fullness and reduce calorie intake. Several studies have found MCT oil supplementation to promote weight loss and reduce body fat when compared to other fats. Energy and Endurance: As MCTs are rapidly absorbed and used for energy, they can boost physical and mental performance. MCTs have been used by athletes to increase stamina and endurance. They provide sustained energy without subsequent crash often seen with quick carbs. Brain and Cognitive Function: MCTs are readily converted to ketones which are an efficient source of brain fuel. Higher ketone levels from MCTs may enhance memory, focus, and even help prevent neurodegenerative diseases. Supplementation has shown benefits for conditions like Alzheimer's and epilepsy. Heart Health: Being saturated fats, MCTs do not negatively impact LDL cholesterol levels. They also raise HDL cholesterol and improve triglycerides. Studies even link MCTs to reduced risk of coronary heart disease. Antimicrobial Properties: Caprylic acid, a major MCT, has potent antifungal and antibacterial properties. It supports digestive and immune health by inhibiting growth of pathogens. Role in Mitochondrial Function: MCTs, when broken down into ketones, may positively impact mitochondrial functioning. This can boost overall energy levels, metabolism, and help prevent age-related damage and diseases. Uses and Sources of Medium Chain Triglycerides Some common uses and sources of MCTs include: - MCT Oil: Primarily sourced from coconuts, MCT oil is colorless and relatively tasteless. It provides all the benefits of MCTs and is widely available as a dietary supplement. - Palm Kernel Oil: Another plant source high in MCTs (about 65%), refined palm kernel oil supplies caprylic and capric acids. It is used in foods like chocolate. - Coconut Products: Coconut meat/flakes and coconut milk naturally contain lauric acid (C12), the most abundant MCT. Coconut oil derived from mature coconuts supplies about 50% MCT content. - Dietary Supplements: MCT powders are used in protein shakes, coffee creamers etc. while MCT oil softgels/capsules provide convenience as supplements. - Specialty Foods: Products like MCT protein bars, MCT butter substitutes, and MCT-based ketogenic foods support ketogenic diets and lifestyles. Recommendations for Use For most benefits, 10-50 grams of medium chain triglycerides per day is recommended, depending on tolerance. Starting low at 1-2 tsp MCT oil per day and gradually increasing is advised. Consuming with foods helps tolerance. MCT supplements support weight loss, exercise performance, memory, and more when used regularly as part of a healthy lifestyle. Conclusion With so many health benefits and sources easily available, MCTs deserve recognition as an essential dietary fat. Their unique properties offer advantages over other fats and make them an excellent supplement for improving energy levels, weight control, brain health, and more. Including just small amounts of MCTs, whether from whole coconut products or purified supplements, can add value to one’s nutritional regimen.
