hey hey baz baz hope you're doing good today ! ! i am positively buzzing because yesterday when i went to the cinema with my friends yesterday we stumbled across a craft store, and i managed to find some mask bases in there so i can finally make one ! >:3

seeing as your mask-making is so pretty i was wondering if you had any opinions / critiques of the design ? :> /gen made this little concept this morning , it's going to be a red-merle collie [ just like me hehe ] and my main mask !! i'm going to enlist the help of my older sister because she's a seamstress and pretty amazing at most crafts, so hopefully it's going to turn out well ! i'm giving it posable ears and removable glasses + tongue so it's expressive and re-shaping the eyes of the mask to make it more stylized so with me luck :') but i'm super excited so i had to share it with you ! ! >:3 would you be okay with me updating you as i make progress because i'd love to do that ! /nf, gen hehe love you dude ! ! rajhgsef <333 /gen, p

hmmmmm.. I’d just say to make the features match up with the animal it’s supposed to be, like if it has a slim or long muzzle, if it has big ears, if it has small eyes etc. (<- I guess that just depends if you’re going for a more realistic style I guess !) and to also try on the mask throughout the mask making process to make sure nothing looks wonky while it’s being worn!

as much as i love the demiseman type art style at the same time i cant help feeling like it is sooooo overdone and stale :-P pretty much every emo/scene artist out there draws in some variation of that style and it almost never breaks the mould or adds anything new/unique. its all just the same thing and you couldnt tell apart these artists if you tried i feel like so many people are limiting their creativity by trying to be just like their fav artist rather than taking inspiration and adding their own elements :-( real sad stuff
