Sorry yet again for not posting much as of late, my mental health has been in the absolute gutter in the last few weeks, but I'm finally starting to feel better!

This week I've been working on Chapter 18 of LDR every day, and I'm finally starting to feel better about what I've written as well. It's been a really difficult chapter for me to write for various reasons, but hopefully it should be ready in a week or two!

Hi! Question about LDR- does Y/N ever get an unproblematic friend?? I saw the drawing of them being friends with DJMM and i just wish it was canon… My guy needs a break! T^T

Y/N will become friends with DJMM in canon too! <3 In fact, Y/N is going to get two new unproblematic people in their life very soon...! (And a bunch more problematic people too of course ;D)

@spadilled : sleep has never come easily to the stoneheart. not since the familiar sounds of the desert at night were replaced by pained groans of teenagers in his same position or the constant hum of electricity keeping the ipc building running near constantly. maybe that's why avgin blinks and finds himself stood outside the doctor's door, eyes burning with lack of sleep and head spinning with something else entirely.

the knock is less confident than he really planned it to sound but it'll do, he supposes. not that aventurine can find it in himself to force a smile upon his lips either way as ratio opens the door and they're stood face to face. amethyst eyes are dull, the taste of alcohol on his tongue long since faded to a memory as aventurine sways on his feet and finds himself staring past the good doctor.

"evening, doc." voice falls flat, and little effort is made to hide the fact. "you... busy?"

he looks like a stray the way he is stood at the door looking much smaller than usual. the ostentatious peacock has lost his luster and before ratio is merely the child slave forced to survive in an ugly world. the fact that aventurine is here is enough of a cry for help without even speaking a word.

part of the doctor would like nothing more than to pull aventurine into a hug and shield him from the cold. but that is not who they are anymore. aventurine of stratagems made sure of that. still, as a doctor, he cannot leave such a pitiful-looking man out on the street. so ratio sighs heavily and steps aside, allowing aventurine entry into his home.

" have you even eaten day, idiot gambler? " what is it really a gamble when they both know ratio will always answer?

And the character sheet is so good too!! I love how well their personalities shine through in the way they sit and their expressions...!! How Sun is looking pleased and sneaky while Moon is annoyed at him <3<3<3 'Annoying' and 'Annoyed' suits them so well pleASE /pos 😭😭😭 (also 'sticks for legs' asdfghjksjkl... I don't know why but everytime I draw Sun his legs get longer haha 💖 ...someone I know calls him Mr. 'Ouran High School Host Club legs' for this very reason and I mean... they are not wrong xD)

And the Moon one where y/n falls asleep on him is so real 😂😂 100% accurate depiction of Moon's state of mind during that scene haha 💖💖💖

Also the last one where Moon tells y/n to get in his van is sending me!! (but please please please do drive to therapy Moon, you both need it so badly 🙏) And Y/N's expression is just the perfect cherry on top haha 💖💖💖

Some important points after reading few more chapters of the novel

Spoilers tw.

Ace was the first person ever who entered lands that belonged to Whitebeard and without fear or hesitation set the flag on Fish - Man island on fire. He declared a war against the four emperors while entering the New World.

Because of his silent hatred to Roger and the rebellion he lead within his heart Ace had no sense of rational thinking no matter how highly and mighty people spoke about the emperors or warlords. His only goal was to reach the peak of piratehood by the times and make his name even more famous than Roger's so people will never speak of his father again anywhere.

He essentially wanted to wipe Roger's name off the pages of history, wanted to flip the world upside down and be the man who starts a new era, make his name known and written under rocks. He wanted to wipe Rogers name just as much as he wanted it gone from the depths of his heart. Ace never cared about the One piece to begin with, he wanted to wipe his father off the memory of every person and replace it with his name.

Ace despite being aware of the state of the princess from fish men island never showed any sign of curiosity, despite hearing the story from Aladdin - local bartender He was not interested in past, Ace only sees the present and the future he already planned in his head.

Ace did not want to grab Isuka's hand to get her on his ship after defeating the vice admiral when he refused to become one of the Seven Warlords and revealing the bitter truth of Isuka's past to her. He couldn't touch her while being a pirate and her being a Navy member. More than that, he couldn't touch her because of Isuka's burnt hand. Ace feared deeply inside that if he touches her, he may hurt her like the fire did when she was a child. No matter how much he wanted to take her on the Piece of Spadille and create a new adventure with her, Ace knew he can't allow himself to grab her hand after everything.

Deuce compared Ace to the sun because of the loneliness that Ace feels as an unit. He often felt like he couldn't be loved and he's the same as the sun. Everyone looked up to him, even enemies had a massive respect to Ace. He was the center of everyone and everything but because the sun (ace) was "too bright" it was always alone. No one could get too close to Ace or they'd get burnt. Not by his fire but by the person Ace thinks he is. He feels undeserving of love of other people. He wants to make a home for others but while being homeless himself. All he could do is move forward at best.

And they all look so good in your style!! 💖💖💖 The rink looks absolutely beautiful too with all the bright colors and disco lights :D :D :D And I love the design you made for Moon's rollerskates!!
