#we made it to playoffs lol#I blame their captain that guy should not be running a team#for one he’s like. 14. and soooo immature#I still can’t believe IPL let him be staff for a while (he was finally kicked very recently)#okay but anyways our free set win#the captain isn’t there so their poor teammate who I don’t think rly knot about the fuckerythat was happening#and they show up with two players on their roster#and two who are not on their roster#and they already used all their transfers so they can’t be subs since they cant be added to the roster#and we told the guy who was doing the communication with us#and they were like ‘aw okay [captain] really messed up’#BECAUSE THE SUBS HAD BEEN TOLD THEY WERE PLAYING IN A SCRIM#I just can’t#like wtf#even ignoring how much we actually preferred them forfeiting because the transfers they did use were to add players WAYYY above our div#so we might’ve gotten completely rolled#but still#this was our week 3 match#that got delayed until the very last day at default time because somehow one team can’t get four people together at the same time in a month#I just do not understand#OH AND THE SUBS WERE (we think just based off names could be different ppl with same names) MIDLEVEL PLAYERS#THIS IS DIV 6

Or is it in the past, a place he can never truly belong in? A place where every second spent there, in the back of his mind, he knows he could cause a paradox or worse with his mere presence.
He’s heard before that home is where one’s family and friends are, but his family has long since been gone and any friends he has, he feels he can hardly call his own. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Shadow, everyone he knows has someone else they consider to be a closer friend. And his closest, dearest friend -the one he could comfortably keep without any risk to timelines- sacrificed herself and he hasn’t seen her since.
If he has no family left in the future and no friends he can safely keep in the past, then all he has left remaining of his own is the ever-present loneliness of a wayward soul, wandering through time alone.
But if you were to ask him, he’d only give you a soft smile and point up to the sky with a voice full of yearning and hope. He’d tell you his home would be the stars themselves, for they were recently unveiled and always there for him, regardless of the time or place. Uncovered by the smoke and smog in lieu of great sacrifice in the future and a constant solace to always look up to on the darkest nights since. Stars which he had later learned had been present all along, above him even past the thick smoke of fires which tore apart his childhood.

holy shit I hate the rules and politics within the community services industry
#getting the third degree because I helped up a client#and they asked if I used strength and I was like... yeah I guess a bit? idk#tell me i should call an ambulance... ok#then you guys would be on my case for overblowing a situation and wasting resources or whatever#i also had to arrange a pickup yesterday because there was a staffing issue. trust me.#and i got shit for that too!! because they view it as me doing whatever i want#man i'm trying to make things easier for everyone#idk if previous makes entire sense. basically a last minute shift got assigned that clashed. that service leader was all Well that's#rostering's problem* when I said how it interferes with like three other clients#rostering is understandably panicking when i ca the.#them** so i'm like Look do you want me to call the wife of the client so we can arrange something etc etc#mind you this was all at the end of the day yesterday. i think around when the managers knock off and two hours before rostering#so i wanted to help with the scramble it caused. which technically meant i was overstepping my role... but who else is going to do it lol?#do you guys want someone less capable? are you intimidated by me or something?#then ofc i have a hard time explaining when work tries to do that thing they do where they catch you on technicals#therefore making it hard for you to explain or trust them. whatever man

#rat rambles#oni posting#also Im trying my hardest to actually get a solid lineup of who the other cell holders were#I know joshua and mi-ma were two of them and that nikola used to be one as well#but I basically have no one else that Im particularly drawn to#the big thing is that the idea behind most of the host choices was based on their stregth and ability to handle the early process#which is why mi-ma is here in the first place shes a metagross and one of the highest leveled pokemon in the guild#joshua is a mimikyu but also fairly high leveled and generally very trusted within the guild#ellie would be more of a contender if she wasnt a pikachu (known for being volatile with power) and also wasnt ellie#Ill probably put ashkan in the roster once I decide a pokemon for him since I imagine hes probably also very trusted#like generally speaking I dont need That many cell holders but I do want enough to space out jackie and olivias plot#the human ones I mean as theyre going around collecting the cells#some of the cells wont have bossfights but some of them do and I want them to have a bit of variety power wise#which is why Im still like half tempted to give ellie one despite not feeling like its a choice original jackie would have approved#who knows maybe I can eventually slap in calvin if his dupe ever makes it in fully#Id just like Some semblance of a design to work with first yknow?#idk Ill probably have to finish assigning pokemon to them all first and then move forward from there
