again and again i find myself lamenting that audio roleplay isn't taken more seriously by some people. like yeah, they often have a romantic element, and by nature they usually directly involve/address the listener- and i totally get that those things aren't to everyone's taste. no art or entertainment is universally appealing, and that's okay! but.. it still makes me a lil sad that the "cringe" reputation of asmr/audio rp precedes it. there's a whole lot of talent and creativity being poured into these audios by so many people that i feel goes unrecognized and/or disrespected simply due to the medium that the stories are being told through.

Vijay knows no boundaries and just jumps onto Ryder from behind and someone took a pic in the right moment (I did). Ry is comfortable with V still close to him, but he's trying not to lose his smile here entirely because he concentrates on the sudden 6'4'' tall weight on him. x)

I think you get why I call this brotp 'Stuck on you' — Vijay basically declared it this way. V is like the angel on your shoulder, he watches over Ry.* He was there for Ryder right from the start, listened and supported him, got him out of he darkness besides giving him a new identity before they even got to be friends. Yes, there was a long pause — both needed — but after that you're not able to separate them ever again, not as lovers but as best friends and both are happy with it because a real good friendship can be so much better than a relationship. <3

It's a bit funny to me you know? And I'm laughing at this very moment about it as well.

Because here was I believing Vijay to be my main oc before I created Ryder — with the intention to give V a boyfriend and a support character for team Jackie and V. But it all came differently bc I stumbled over pretty Arki along the way (and I love to what it turned out by now).

And where am I now? I realized half a year ago, that Ryder is my main guy and Vijay his support. Without him there literally would be no Ryder. I mean it! Seriously. If they hadn't met, Ryder would be gone given his low self-esteem and depression when I reflect my written back story about him. Let that sink in.

Meanwhile cis men are constantly dealing with belittlement of not being masculine enough, and cis minorities (not the right word but can't think of it) are dealing with the fact that being a minority makes people see your gender as "lesser" or "different"...

Oh, absolutely. Cis people are under much scrutiny to adhere to their gender, and it's compounded if they are disabled, not white, not heterosexual, and a ton more. A lot factors into how you are perceived and treated.

A huge part of cis queer theory has been making commentary about how being non-heterosexual felt as though they were sacrificing womanhood or manhood. I think we as trans people have a ton of common ground with marginalized cis people.

Cis people can absolutely know they are men and women whether or not they are treated as such, but still want to be seen for who they are. It is, at best, frustrating when you aren't being treated as who you are. Cis people also deserve to be affirmed in their genders, and there's no shame in it whatsoever

Baja: I'd also would love to ask the artists themselves about the trivia and maybe give me more insight on it. Like maybe they have a funny story or....... Maybe more context....

Baja: I guess it depends on which son you're talking about. I know a lot of people know about warabie and his music career. His first ever track that he was credited was actually turquoise October when he was 13. it was on a demo track.... Which was only 3 minutes long.... But you could also be talking about your oldest son Dashie who used to make jingles for commercials.

Personally, I feel like that's a very underappreciated form of art in the music world. He specifically made music for food chain shanty's. But the height of his success was when he made the theme song and composed music for 'the Donnie dock show' back in '08. Though he asked not to be credited directly. He was under the alias of Dave. He's won at least two cabbies for best music composition in the kids entertainment category.

Me seeing all of the dramas that have begun in the Stranger Things fandom ever since the WGA strike started:

jemma plays cello, viola, piano

bobbi plays bass and guitar

fitz is their lighting/tech guy but is also listed on the website as the band’s recorder player (he has never been on a track not once)

coulson is both daisy’s adoptive dad and the band’s manager

mack is their head of security and bus driver and manages the crew

anyway just. imagine daisy getting super stressed during a performance and bobbi, during a guitar break, just coming up behind her and hugging her until she stops shaking

jemma has a solo as a brudge between songs and daisy likes to come sit next to her and rest her head on her non-bow shoulder

hunter and bobbi getting in a fight backstage and aggressively trying to out-play the other until intermission when mack sits them down in the dressing rooms and makes them work it out

fitz occasionally changing up the colours on stage, but making sure that daisy’s light is always lilac

the fans love how supportive coulson is, and sometimes he’ll come out during intermission and give out guitar picks/stickers/merch

daisy writing a duet and asking jems to sing it with her, but jemma is so so nervous and ends up playing her melody on the cello
