not far off from how their family will feel about you — their friends will also approve of you! like i said before, you seriously bring out another side of your partner that they haven’t even seen before either. if anything, they feel like their friend is more motivated and less in their head about shit since you’ve come into the picture. i think your partner used to be really pessimistic and a bit of a downer when it came to love/relationships, but meeting you helped them realize that love truly is real. their friends will think that you’re very witty and knowledgeable, you may like to debate about certain topics and they’ll find it hilarious and engage with you. they may also think that you're a bit stubborn lol but ultimately you’re persuasive enough to make them see your point of view. i think they'll really like you, and they'll love how different you are from the previous love interests your person would bring around/talk about.

you'd never admit it, but you were one of those who had a crush on that popular bassist from the local band at your school, nuit rouge.

peruere snezhevna. even her name rolled off your tongue in such a smooth manner. she was beloved all around campus, especially amongst the women as she had such that cool and handsome appeal to her. she was tall, smart, athletic and a bassist with that apathetic cool guy charm to her like in those silly little shoujo animes-- you'd never admit it, but you were a victim of her charms as well. why? well, obviously because she has more than enough admirers already, she'd never notice you. so you decided to just lay low in the background and admire her secretly.

whenever your friends all gush about said bassist, you try to act as uninterested as possible, like you don't know nothing about her. "per.. per who?" you'd ask while looking at your phone just to make your friends stop talking about her to you. like your silly little crush on her, you'd never admit it (even to yourself), but you felt annoyed to hear other girls talk about her.

however, you were part of the school's journalism club, and your assigned category was photojournalism, making you the campus' designated resident photographer. as duty calls, you were tasked to take photos for the upcoming foundation day event. you had to listen to the writers' requests, as it was your task as well to catch the photos they'll be using for their assigned part in the school paper.

right now, you were with one of the news writers, charlotte, taking photos of her and the said local school band. you can remember your good friend's words before she dragged you here before you could even say a thing, "oh, y/n! y/n! come on hurry! i have to interview nuit rogue before the others do, covering them is my one way ticket to the paper's front page!"

so like the good photographer you are, you silently stood in the back, taking photos (with the band's consent, of course) while they talked with charlotte. it was mostly wriothesley who did the talking though.

as you peaked through your camera's lens, maybe you were crazy- but you thought you saw peruere staring back at you. flustered, you looked away for a little, pretending to take a photo of something else (which you probably looked like an idiot doing so, as everyone knows you're taking photos of the band, why were you pointing your camera at the wall?). when you looked back, peruere was talking now, her gaze back on charlotte.

with a breath of relief, you went back to capturing photos of the said band. the lens of your camera lingering on the bassist a bit too longer than you noticed, but she did.

eventually, the time for them to perform had come, just right after lure and 5WIRL. you had the freedom to roam around the stage to take photos, so you did- as your friend charlotte had urged you to do.

you were currently kneeling in front of the stage to hide your presence a bit, letting your camera do it's thing while they perform. multiple names were being screamed, but you were only focused on one thing-- on peruere on your camera.

"kyaaa! childe! look my way, please!"

"wriothesley!! you're so cool!"

you didn't mind their continuous screaming, you were just in the middle of the audience and the band. of course you'd hear all their fanchants and calling of their names. you continued looking through your camera's lens, focusing on peruere that right moment to capture perfect photos of the band members.

"aaaaaaaa, it's the knave! she's so handsome!"

-- for some reason, your ear started to ring in an annoying way, so you quickly and silently walked away from the crowd.

moments later, charlotte grabbed your camera from you to look at the photos. "oh, y/n.. what would i do without you??" she exclaimed, smiling at the photos in your camera. "these photos are all good.. but why are they mostly focused on that.. the knave girl?" she asked and your eyes widened, oh crap- you forgot to hide the other photos you took of her for.. for educational purposes, of course.

quick, y/n! think of a stupid excuse!

"uhm- well, she's famous.. i just thought it'd be good to capture a few extra shots of her." you lied, which charlotte bought almost immediately, much to your relief. "hm, you have a point! she is quite famous amongst the ladies.. i might make a cover story about her!"

you went home after that day, going through the photos in your camera.. to study how you caught the photos this time, of course. you know.. see how you can improve and all, to see your flaws and mistakes. definitely not to look at the photos of peruere that you took.

anyway, you looked at it, and you couldn't help but feel that silly little pang! pang! in your chest. she looked so.. cool. that serious expression on her face as her fingers plucked the string of her bass, you could remember the scene playing vividly in front of you- sweat dripping down her forehead, with her looking down at the fretboard and back at the audience, before singing a few lines.

"y/n, honey! are you in there? it's time for dinner!"

"crap- mom, don't you know how to knock?! i almost dropped my camera!"

you froze for a second, chest heaving from being startled. it wasn't a lie that you almost dropped your camera.

"my bad, dear. you weren't answering.. so i thought you were asleep."

you sighed, looking at your mom apologetically for shouting at her. you placed down your camera and went with her anyway, joining her and your siblings for dinner.

the next day, oh, archons-

the next day was annoying as hell. charlotte's interview with nuit rogue was on the front page as expected, and the three members were the talk of the town once again. you could hear their names buzzing all throughout campus. one of your friends came running to you, oh great, you immediately knew what would be the first thing that'd come out of their mouth.

"y/n! did you see peruere yesterday? she was so coool! surely, you did! you must think she's so cool now, right??"

called it. you sighed, walking with her with a forced uninterested face. "yeah. i was the photographer, of course i'd get to see their performance. upclose, even." you told her, earning you an envious pout and a hit to the shoulder from your friend. "no fair! ugh, you're so lucky.."

were you even? you just got to see her upclose. not like you were able to talk to her. not like she was able to notice you anyway.

you shrugged your friend's whims away and continued on with your day.

you went through your first few classes just as usual, and now you're currently in the comfort room to wash your hands before eating. minding your own business, you were startled when you heard someone talk behind you.

"excuse me, are you.. are you y/n? the photographer..?"

you look behind you and you felt like your heart would once again jump out of your heart (willingly) at the sight of her, peruere. you slowly nod, not exactly sure if you could spit out words. ".. do you hate me?" she asked, much to your surprise. you almost choked on your own spit, hearing that.

"n-no! no no no, i don't.. why- where did you get the idea??"

you panicked, you were nervous at the thought of her thinking that you disliked her when it was really the opposite and the girl in front of you looked somewhat relieved, but she stared at you with curiosity and worry.. but you convinced yourself you were hallucinating. no way, why would she be worried?? "at the foundation day, you were glaring at me. i was just wondering since then if i've ever offended you." she told you, making you almost choke on your spit the second time, where was she getting these ideas??? "p-peruere, no! i wasn't glaring at you.." you exclaimed, leaning back as she leaned in closer, as if studying your face. you looked away, a bit flustered. "peruere..?" you asked, and she sighed as she leaned back again.

"i'm not buying it. you can't even look at me. please, let me make it up to you."

she held out her hand, holding tickets in front of you. "let's go watch a concert together. my treat."

you felt as if your legs had turned to jelly at her words- your crush was offering you to go watch a concert together?? and you were quick to refuse, embarrassed. "no, no! peruere, it's fine. i'm not ma-"

"no, i insist. i'll see you on saturday. send me your location and i'll come pick you up."

she grabbed your hand, placed the tickets in your palm, closed it and smiled at you. maybe you were crazy- but you felt as if she held your hand for a long, long, stupidly long time (she was).

"i don't like it when i offend people, miss y/n. so let me, okay?"

you were just- just taken aback at this point. you felt like you were dreaming. ".. okay, peruere. i uhm, thank you.." you told her. she nodded at your words in approval. "okay. i'll see you around, miss y/n." she politely excused herself and you just realized that she had just let go of your hand when she left.

now you were in bed. staring at the tickets in your hand.

your crush really asked you to go to a concert with her.

it was hard for you to wrap you lovestruck mind around it, and you started rolling around in your bed and kicking your feet like a madman.

Falling asleep on them. They're too polite to move you and actually find it really cute so they end up sitting there until they fall asleep themselves.

It was five hours ago when Pavitr received a text from his partner asking him if he is free for the day.

Five hours ago when he replied with a 'sorry but i have a meeting with the others today, maybe next time? will make it up to you i promise <3'

Four hours ago when he got a text from them reassuring him that it's alright and that they can always plan something for some other day, and asking him not to blame himself for this.

Three hours ago, before he got a text from them telling him that they have a sudden change in schedule and that they'll be attending their piano lessons today. A message with the last line being 'don't forget how much I love you, Pav. <3'

It was two hours ago when he got out of the meeting and tried calling his s/o to talk with them about their day and his. Two hours ago when they didn't pick up his first and his fifth call.

It was one hour ago when he asked Gwen and Hobie to help him find his s/o because he was freaking out.

And, it was exactly 30 minutes ago when Miguel called him to the office and told him that his beloved had been walking home from school when they got abducted by some unknown people. When he felt like the world has stopped.

It was exactly now that he was panicking and pacing around the room with uneven breathing.

"Pav, you need to calm down. They'll be fine." Gwen tried to reassure him because she felt like if she doesn't, then Pavitr won't ever stop. He didn't reply though, possibly not even heard what his friend had said. He kept murmuring about the possibilities he had flooding his mind.

Hobie sighed "This is no good mate. You gotta stop pacin' and think for a moment." He tried to talk to him but was met with silence once more. Frustrated with his best friend's antics, he walked towards Pavitr and puts a hand on his shoulder making him still. "Oi! can you stop pacin' around and think calmly for a moment?" he said in a sharp tone.

What he didn't expect was a distraught looking Pavitr looking at him helplessly with tears in his eyes. "Pav..." Gwen was shocked to see him like this as well. A guy like him never liked crying in front of others or talking about his problems, so seeing him like this really hurt them.

"Calmly?" Pavitr spoke in an annoyed tone. "I CAN'T BE CALM! MY S/O IS KIDNAPPED BECAUSE OF ME! AND I'M SITTING HERE NOT BEING ABLE TO DO *ANYTHING* BECAUSE MIGUEL HAS TOLD US TO SIT AROUND TILL HE PLAYS WITH HIS MACHINES IN THERE!"

Both of them looked at him shocked to their cores. They had never seen this guy so frustrated or angry. This cool and calm guy with a never ending playful persona.

He sighed. "I'm- I'm sorry I just-" he covered his face as he sat down on the stairs. "I- I don't know what to do...i don't know what is happening to them right now or if they're alright. I have no clue where they are and what those assholes are doing to them." He took in a deep breath. "I- You don't know I just- I don't want to think about this- what if, what if they're hurt? what if they're torturing them for being with me? they'll never tell my secrets, they'll rather die and it just, it scares the shit out of me guys i don't know what is going on. what if i never get to see them again? what if they leave me? what if- what if I-" His voice broke and he choked on a sob.

Gwen and Hobie looked down in guilt. They knew that this isn't easy for Pavitr. He truly loved Y/n.

Only a minute later, Peter came running out of the building. "Hey! We found 'em!" At his words, Pavitr got up with the speed of lightning and impatiently demanded the location.

"Where?"

Miguel walked beside Peter, "Do not act irrationally Pavitr, this is-"

"Where."

Miguel and Peter looked at him in shock. They had never seen him so angry. "The warehouse near the east coast in Mumbattan."

That's all he needed to hear before getting ready to take off. He had waited enough. One more second of delay and he'd lose himself. With impatient, trembling hands, he started using his watch for opening a portal back to his world.

To save his world.

"Pavitr!" He looked back at Miguel when he heard his voice, expecting a lecture on being rational and thinking calmly. But much to everyone's except Peter's surprise, Miguel said something nice. "Good luck."

Pavitr gave him a grateful nod and walked into the portal followed by Gwen and Hobie.

The three of them stood on a tower standing a few meters away from the warehouse. Pavitr was growing impatient every second and both Gwen and Hobie could see it.

Gwen placed a hand on his shoulder gently speaking, "Hey, it's alright. We're here now right? They're gonna be alright." She gave him a small reassuring smile.

"Yeah mate really, let's just check before getting straight to them, eh?" Hobie gave him a grin.

Pavitr sighed and nodded. "Let's go." They swung by the warehouse and over, trying to search for men possibly on the lookout. When they found none, they landed on the roof of the warehouse. A skylight caught there attention as they walked towards it to look inside. Unfortunately for them, it was too dark.

Too dark for Pavitr's liking.

Suddenly, the door to the warehouse opened and a man dressed in a robe walked in. He had a suitcase in his hand. What the actual hell?

He placed his suitcase on a iron table nearby and walked towards....

Pavitr's eyes widened. There, in front of that man, laying on the cold hard ground, tied to a metal frame, was his beloved s/o. The light coming in from the opened door reflected their bruises and cuts. Pavitr's blood turned cold at the man's laughter.

"Look at you, young gorgeous. Not so gorgeous anymore with all those scars but-" he pulled out a pair of gloves and started putting it on. "Come on dear y/n. We both know he doesn't give a DAMN about you. Otherwise he'd be here by now."

Gwen places a hand on Pavitr's shoulder, trying to ground his racing heart. "He won't even LOOK at you with a face as bruised as this. Just, tell me already." his voice turned deadly serious as he kneeled in front of them, "how. do. i. defeat. him."

That's enough.

Pavitr broke through the glass of the skylight and landed behind the man making him turn away startled. Gwen and Hobie followed after him looking angry. But Pavitr wasn't angry, no.

He was FURIOUS.

He glared at the man with so much rage and hatred that even the creepy man felt a shiver run down his spine. "Hah! would you look at that!" The man clapped his hands. "so you DO care after all."

Pavitr rushed forward and punched the man straight in the jaw making him stumble. But he still laughed like a maniac. "Haha! Gosh! You have some strength in you young man!" Pavitr punched him again as Gwen rushed to y/n's side untying their hands and legs. Hobie took his chance and smashed a random discarded wine bottle he found lying somewhere on the man's arm making him yelp in agony.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" pavitr yelled. He held him by the collar of his shirt. "WHY DID YOU TAKE THEM!?" He punched him on the right cheek but he kept laughing. "HOW DARE YOU HURT THEM!" A punch on the left cheek and his laughing turned to choked coughs as he spat out blood on the floor. "HOW DARE YOU!" He yelled and kept punching him.

Gwen, y/n and Hobie watched him with wide eyes. They had never seen him so furious. So vengeful. Gwen looked at Hobie who stood behind Pavitr, giving a look. He nodded before walking forward and holding pavitr by his shoulders. "Hey. that's enough, mate."

But to their surprise, Pavitr pushed his hands away and kept punching the now unconscious man. Hobie frowned. "Pav. Let go man. that's enough." He didn't stop.

Y/n watched. This wasn't like him. He wasn't the sweet, charismatic boy who they knew. No, he was a furious and enraged superhuman who had forgotten about the boundaries of being the friendly neighborhood, Spider-Man.

"Pav..." They spoke weakly but loud enough for him to hear. He immediately stopped his movements and looked at them. They had tears in their eyes as They stared at him with fear. Afraid that he'll lose his humanity. He dropped his hands to the side, his blood and the man's blood mixed, dripping from his knuckles. He swiftly walked towards them and kneeled in front of them.

His eyes scanned their body lingering on every cut and bruise. Y/n slowly raised a hand to his cheek and it was enough to break him. He hid his face in the crook of their neck as the tears escaped his eyes.

Gwen and Hobie shared knowing looks and walked out with hobie carrying the unconscious man.

Pavitr hugged y/n and cried in their embrace. "Hey.... I'm okay... it's okay...Pav..." They whispered gently to him.

The hold on their body tightened as he cried. "I- i thought i- l-lost you.." Y/n felt a ache in their heart. He sounded so broken. "I was s-so scared."

It came as a surprise even to y/n. No matter how bad things got or how scared he'd get, Pavitr NEVER showed it on his face. He always kept a charming smile on his face and a few corny jokes up his sleeve to assess the situation. But seeing him break down like this only because of the fear that he'd lose them, it was overwhelming. It was heartwarming. It was endearing.

They took in a shakey breath and hugged him tighter. "Yeah...me too. But hey" they pulled a little back and looked at him in the eyes, "we're okay. you're here... I'm here...yeah?" a reassuring smile on their face, they tried their best to console his racing heart and shaking body.

"B-but y-you're hurt..." He looked down at their wounds but they held him by the chin and made him look at them.

"I'm alive." Their voice was firm and reassuring. "They....they may leave some scars but, nothing serious. I hope you don't mind a little ugliness, Spider boy." They smiled and joked but their voice held some sort of insecurity and fear in it. This didn't go unnoticed by Pavitr.

He always noticed.

He gently cupped their cheeks and looked softly at them. "You were, are, and always will be the most beautiful person to me. In every damn universe and in every damn reality. I will NEVER stop loving you y/n." His words made the tears in their eyes return as they smiled at him.

How can he be so brutally furious one moment and then so sweet and caring the other? 'This boy... he'd be the death of me.' Y/n thought as they looked at his miraculously perfect face.

Pavitr pulled them in for a kiss and they happily gave in hugging him close. When they pulled apart, Pavitr gave them a small smile.

"Now let's get you home." He gently picked them up in his arms and grinned at them.

the male shuts his fluttered his eyelids shut, nuzzling closer to you; seeking warmth, and you dropped the book you were holding, tuning every ounce of attention to your boyfriend. holding him tightly against your body, nose in his hair — which smelt like the grape aroma shampoo yuuji bought him.

as strong as you are, you still get injured from fights at times. although it doesn't really bother you — choso worries over you more than you worry about yourself, tries to help you put ointments and bandage, but ends up failing because he doesn't really know the basics to it.

coming home from a fight, you had a big gash on your forehead. you paid no mind to it as wounds heal, however your boyfriend is a little petrified at the sight of your blood — even if he had the ability to manipulate blood.

"oh, welcome home— what happened to you?" he approaches you, cupping your face gently, inspecting the gash on your forehead in worry, "do i need to call the ambulance?"

you chuckled, shaking your head, "cho, no. i'll be okay, this is nothing to me."

he pulls you into the living room, making you sit on the couch while he trots to the bathroom to grab the first aid kit, where you always kept it. a few seconds later, heavy footsteps drummed throughout the whole house and the male was kneeling in front of you.

"first, clean the blood." he mutters to himself, and you find him so adorable that you couldn't help but to softly laugh at his attempt to clean your wound.

he was mumbling to himself, lightly cursing when it doesn't go his way — which goes for most of the procedure besides the blood cleaning one. choso gets so stressed over it that he sighs out exasperatedly, shaking his hand in pure frustration.

"choso, it's alright," your fingers ghosted over his head for a few seconds before eventually patting him, "you tried, that's what matters."

the male nods, but is still very upset that he couldn't help you. and he asks yuuji to teach him how the basic steps of first aid — which yuuji tried to decline, but after choso tells him the reason, yuuji had no other choice but to comply.

best believe it the next time you have a wound, choso is the one at your aid; correctly this time.

choso is so worried over people taking advantage of your strength sometimes, he knows how twisted the world can be. and how people lust for power, the male gets so scared at the thought of people hunting you down for your power and it made him a little paranoid; afraid that one day he wakes up and you're just not there anymore.

"cho, what's wrong?" you ask the male, who had his face planted into your stomach, his arms tightening around your figure; holding you in place.

he shook his head, not breaking a word. face still planted over your clothed stomach. your hand traveled to his hair, brushing it over gently, and the male finally used his arm to topple his body up slightly, eyes gazing into your own deeply.

"don't leave me," he mumbles out, his brows furrowed and the crease in between his brows deepening by the passing second.

"out of the blue?" you questioned, a lop-sided smile appearing on your face.

he nodded mutely before dropping his weight on you once again, face nuzzling into your stomach. and your fingers tousled his hair gently, the male leaning into your touch, "please, don't leave me," he muffled out into your tummy.

"i won't."

"pinky promise?" he raises up his hand, his pinky jutting out, waiting for yours to tangle with his.

you laugh softly, tangling your pinky with his, "i promise."

choso is your training partner, he takes your seriously and uses his technique on you. because he trusts that you'd be able to beat him, but when he accidentally hurts you, he blames himself and will be in an extremely bad mood for the rest of the day.

"cho, baby, i'm okay. it's just a scratch, it doesn't hurt, i promise," you try to convince the male who was sitting down on the couch, his knees pulled to his chest, his eyes blinking slowly at you.

"i hurt you." he mumbles out lowly, pulling you into his embrace — burying his face into the crook of your neck, pressing his lips onto your skin, "how could i do that?"

he feels so bad, and wouldn't be able to face you in a lot of situation. you both being under the same roof made it so hard for him, and you trying to talk him out of his bad mood made him feel even guiltier.

"cho," you reached out to him, "stop running away from me, i promise you it was an accident! you didn't mean to do it, and we were training, weren't we?" he still feels bad.

the male looks at you again with a deep frown coating his lips, brows furrowed, and eyes glassy. you realized when he was about to shed his tears and immediately went to his side, cupping his face, "it's okay, look, the scratch is almost gone, right?" you grazed your finger over your cheek where a small bump line was on.

he shook his head, grazing his finger over your skin, "it's still there, y/n," he tells you, kissing your cheek, specifically over the bump.

"baby, i can promise you it doesn't hurt." you cooed, pressing your lips over his, "so stop running away from me, okay?"

the male finally nodded his head, "still, 'm sorry."

"choso, it's okay. it was an accident." you hugged the male tightly, and he returned the hug, planting his face over your shoulder before letting out a content sigh.

the next training session, he made extra sure to not leave a scratch on you.
