there was snowman, sitting perfectly made and constructed on a ledge, and along with marks enthusiasm, created the perfect spot to take photos together. you and mark had just finished dinner and decided to go for a walk, just to enjoy each others company a little more in this cool environment and to talk about what’s been on your mind. the two of you start doing silly little poses for your camera, blowing snow at each other and getting amazing shots of the snow in action. it wasn’t until you tried to go up closer to the snowman that you realised - oh it’s slippery. very slippery. you fell over, kicking into mark by accident making him falling over as well. people walked past, laughing at the two of you as you both practically screamed out your own laughters. and oh? you accidentally recorded the whole thing? even better.

you loved going to the photo booths with your friends, so when your boyfriend wanted to take you to one during a day out you agreed in an instant. before it started you took a seat, looking into the camera and fixing your hair to fix it up. renjun watched you in awe, simply admiring you. when it started you led the way, telling him how to pose quickly before the photo was taken each time. you got the cute set of photos but renjun wanted another set, this time without any accessories. you agree, placing the accessories back and joining him in the photo booth. you are all over each other in the best possible way in this set of photos. hugs, loving stares, kisses, brightest and most genuine smiles. he loved you more than you could ever guess.

“it was just a joke” you scream, running down the road towards the playground. jeno was hot on your tail, having the time of his lip chasing after you as you fear for what he will do what he catches you - hug you to death? who knows. despite the playground clearly not being for people above the age of ten, you were running up those stairs and sprinting towards the slide. he was below the slide, simply waiting for you to slide down.

“Leave me alone you psycho”

“take it back and it’s all okay”

“okay…. um…”

“you can’t even be genuine” he cried out before making his way up the slide. you wanted to laugh at the silly action but you chose to run instead, giggling as you jumped off the playground. however, you failed to notice that jeno was already back on the ground.

he wraps his arms tightly around you, squeezing you against him as you giggle and push at him to get free.

“apologise.” “no.” he kisses your lips and then looks at your with a forced angry expression. “apologise now.” “another kiss and then maybe.”

haechan

you were exhausted at this point. It was 4 am and this trip was supposed to be a time to rest. but instead haechan had you at the karaoke room making you sing all the songs possible together. you weren’t expecting him to go on for this long, usually it was only a couple of songs before he got sick of the karaoke, but tonight he just kept making you both sing.

you were sure your voices were giving out, you were out of breath from the failed rap attempts and you had somehow made a choreography to a song that he sung twice in a row.

“babe, I need a break please.” you huffed out, placing a microphone down and breathing out heavily.

he sat down beside you, also breathing heavily. he looked at you for a full minute. just looking as you breathed and tried to ignore his stare. he then brought his hand up to your chin and turned your face to look at him, moving forward to place a gentle kiss on your lips and then pulling away.

“let’s go back and sleep, I’m exhausted.”

you laid in bed, unable to sleep from the pure excitement of what jaemin had planned for you tomorrow. he had booked a hotel in another city and brought the flight tickets. this was to the exact city you had wanted to visit for ages. you needed to wake up in a few hours for the airport, but you just couldn’t fall asleep. jaemin woke up due to your constant moving around.

“why are you awake?” “I’m too excited I can’t sleep..”

it brought a smile to his face, but he knew you would really need to sleep at least a little bit now.

he pulled you towards him, wrapping his arms around you and bringing your face towards his neck. you inhaled his scent and tried to relax yourself. “try to sleep, you will regret it if you don’t.”

“I am trying.” you said trying to move back and look at him but he kept your head there, not letting you move. “go to sleep.” he said, half asleep himself. you did fall asleep shortly after, thanks to his comforting hold on you.

you wanted to be FREE. he was feeling like a menace. he was cuddled up to your arm, not letting go of it for the past hour. you tried to free yourself multiple times but it didn’t work. he kept finding excuses to bother you. it was all because he liked your reactions. you scoffed and laughed in annoyance at his behaviour and that was enough to make him laugh at you and continue. it wasn’t until you started actually trying to free yourself from his grip that you both ended literally wrestling each other.

you were sat on the couch, chenle clinging onto you with his arms wrapped around one of your arms and his leg placed on top of you. he laughed at your expression, not caring that you were annoyed.

“It’s not like you are doing anything important.” he claimed, and you just closed your eyes and leaned your head back.

“why are you doing this?”

“honest answer or the lie.” “honest.” you say with a sigh.

“haechan bet me that I wouldn’t be able to stick to you for one hour straight and I said I could do two hours.”

“lele… it’s been like almost three hours now.”

“he will triple the money if I make it to three hours baby please just 20 more minutes.”

“spilt the money and sure.”

“the money is all yours baby. I’m doing this to prove a point.”

you and Jisung were growing impatient with the food. It was in the oven, cooking away, but you wanted it now. you stood in the kitchen, tapping your feet on the ground and fingers on the counter, creating a beat by pure accident. Jisung noticed the beat and started dancing to it, not seriously of course but just a silly little dance move for pure entertainment. you giggled and stopped the beat and he whined at you.

“aye keep the beat going.”

“I’ll get the kitchen beat going hold on.”

the pots and pants and spoons all came out and before you knew it, you and jisung were a two person band creating the worst music alive with the goofiest dances possible BUT you were having fun. so much fun that time just went on and on until you realised oh shit the food will be ready and turns out you almost burnt the food. it’s just a little bit extra crispy.

-Yoru has tried time travelling, Phoenix jokes about it all the time

-When someone has a bad day, cypher watches over them over the camera to make sure they aren't doing anything bad to themself

-Yoru gives haircuts and is actually good, but he keeps yapping while using his different knives

-Gekko sings creep by radiohead in the shower when he's sad and Neon films from outside the door and jokes about it

-Omen gets too much candy due to being treated as a trick or treater

• He Wakes you up early Christmas day.

• Not intentionally, he's not TRYING to wake you up. No he's actually running a bath of cold water to sink into.

• He's sort of trying to commit s in there.

• You find him and pull him out though.

• That was your morning.

• You don't open presents yet. No, first, you make breakfast

• Breakfast consists of the left over takeaway you had the night before.

• He'll take you outside if it's snowing. He heard of a new met- what? Your not letting him? Wellll, he does suppose it IS Christmas and he can go the rest of the day without another attempt.

• So, because that plan was a no, he comes up with a other one? What plan was that? Snowball fight!

• That's how most your time does, he does not know when to give up. So he just carries on and on and on until you can't feel your fingers, your noses are bright red and it's way too cold.

• Eventually you go inside though.

• You don't have Christmas Dinner, unless someone else from the ADA (probably Atsushi or even Kunikida) brings something to eat over. You just snack on whatever is in the house. Which isn't much.

• You do eventually open presents. He gets you books, all books you've expressed interest in and don't have yet.

• He also hides dried pressed flowers in the books as bookmarks - a real bouquet of flowers wouldn't last being wrapped up for god knows how long ready to give you on Christmas, so he took the time to press and dry some.

• As for what you got him? It doesn't matter really. You could get him anything and he'd be happy.

• Might make a remark, but ultimately he's just happy that you even got him something.

• The night ends rather nicely. A cup of how chocolate as you sit in bed watching cheesy Christmas films on a laptop.

Nakajima, Atsushi

• He Wakes up emotional. This is his first Christmas outside the orphanage.

• And he's waking up next to you.

• He isn't going to wake you up, he's just going to lie next to you for a while, enjoying the moment until you wake up.

• He's happy to do whatever you want to do on Christmas.

• Spoil him please, he deserves it.

• Presents are done in the morning.

• He got you Jewlery and Makeup - he consulted Naomi and Yosano on what to get.

• It's not super expensive, but don't forget he doesn't have a lot anyway. He also doesn't know a thing about brands and such.

• If it's pretty and he thinks you'd like it, he'll get it.

• As for what you get him? He's another one you can get literally anything for and he'll love it.

• He will cry.

• Don't worry about it.

• You have Christmas Dinner out. You go to a restaurant that does Christmas dinners. He made sure it was reserved weeks in advance.

• Snow! If it snows he'll get exited. Like, he wants to play in the snow, but be warn and wrapped up when he does, instead of freezing in some old thin clothes and not enjoying it.

• He's fun to play with in the snow, he just does what he feels like, which is throwing a lot of snow.

• He's happy to help build a snowman though - he's quite good at it.

• Also will make snow angels.

• If you ask, he'll turn into the tiger to play in the snow with you.

• He ends up going to sleep really early later that day, your cuddled up watching films on a phone, and he falls sleep 5 minutes in.

• He's had a busy day.

Edogawa, Ranpo

• Up really early and waking you up with him as he begs for presents. He really wants his presents.

• So thats the first thing you do.

• He's easy to buy for. You get him anything related to sweets and he's ecstatic - especially if they're really hard to come by snacks, or imported snacks from abroad.

• As for what he gets you? Remember that really expensive thing you mentioned a few months back? How you were looking to save up for this very specific collectable item?

• Well, he got it for you, you can stop saving now.

• Dinner is early. He wants to eat dinner early because then he'll have more room for snacks later.

• You comply because its Christmas.

• You cook dinner. He tries to help but gives up because he's useless in the kitchen. He just watches you cook.

• He doesn't want to play in the snow, but will if you want to. Don't expect too much enthusiasm though.

• The snow it pretty and he likes it, but it's also really cold and he's kinda lazy.

• He'd rather just sit with a cup of hotchocolate and watch the snow with you.

• You two don't watch films. Electronics are banned!

• You play bored games instead.

• You invite Fukuzawa and Yosano and play board games.

• Fukuzawa will suggest monopoly - say no.

Akutagawa, Ryuunosuke

• He's not getting up. Sorry.

• He's got the day off, like Mori has basically said - It's Christmas, don't do any work.

• Gin Wakes up early though.

• You spend the time up until Akutagawa Wakes up making breakfast with Gin.

• You exchange presents with the two siblings and its not really a momentous occasion, but rather just a small simple exchange - except you and Akutagawa banded together to get something really expensive for Gin, along with a few extra items.

• You get Akutagawa a new tea set. He won't say anything but you'll catch him using it later that evening.

• Akutagawa won't play in the snow, but he'll watch you and Gin.

• You can't convince him either.

• He looks so grumpy! Don't worry he's haply enough.

• You don't have a full Christmas Dinner, but you do have a small dinner in the evening. The rest of the day is snacks.

• In the evening everyone is doing their own thing.

• But Akutagawa will let you cuddle up to him if you want. It is Christmas afterall.

Dostoyevsky, Fyodor

• I'm sorry but your not celebrating Christmas :'(

• OK, no, but seriously. You can get Fyodor into Christmas Dinner at least.

• He's not a festive guy okay? Can't force someone to celebrate Christmas.

• It's not that he loves Christmas or anything. It's just that it's an excuse for presents and celebrating, and if he gets even an inkling thay you like Christmas, then he's going to go overboard on the whole holiday.

• So, the morning was an early wakeup,

• He got you a LOT of presents. Like, he had a list of things you'd mentioned over the year, and if you hadn't already brought it yourself, he went ahead and got it for you.

• You almost feel bad about what you for him because of it, but he assures you that you didn't need to.

• Still happy to accept your gift though, very happy.

• Dinner is actually rather simple. It's nice, quiet and it's just the two of you.

• He's taken measures to make sure Nikolai doesn't pop up and interrupt you.

• You can't play in the snow, considering your in the sky casino.

• But you do sit with him and watch from one of the many windows in a nicer part of the casino that's also private.

• It's calm and pleasant and relaxing and you'll probably fall asleep.

• He'll try and carry you back to your room, but probably won't succeed, he's too scared of accidentally waking you up.

• As for dinner, don't let him cook! Or at least, let him think he's helping, let him do something he can't mess up and do the rest yourself. It'll be okay. If you cook it, he'll eat it, even if the colours don't all match.

• He's not interested in the snow. At least, that's what he says. It'll take a bit to get him to admit to wanting to go out in the snow

(I made this more of a winter theme since I feel like Leo's just always warm. Hope that's okay! P.S., it's my first time writing something like this, so I hope it's okay!)

Winters at Camp Half-Blood were either one of two things. One, Chiron and Mr. D decided to leave the snow and cold air out, or two, Chiron and Mr. D decided to give camp a snow day. Only problem? Mr. D always went a bit too cold for everyones liking.

Today was one of the unfortunate days that Mr. D decided he didn't care, and let in the snow and cold air. As a result, most of the campers stayed in their cabins due to the cold. Not wanting to risk sickness. You included. Your boyfriend Leo, however, seemed to never be cold.

"(Name)! C'mon! Let's make a snowman or something!" You heard from your cabin door. "Get your boyfriend to shut the hell up!" One of your siblings yelled to you. With a groan, you got up from your bed. Blankets covering you. As soon as you opened the door, you were met with Leo and his usual grin. "Hey, babe!" He beamed, leaning forward to give you a kiss on the cheek, his hair as messy as always. He seemed to be completely unfazed by the cold. "Leo, it's so fucking cold out, what do you want?" You said with a slight smile of your own. As much as you hated to admit it, you couldn't help but love whenever he came over. "(Name)! Close the door! You're letting the cold in!" One of your siblings yelled, throwing a pillow your way. With a chuckle, Leo invited himself into your cabin, picking up the pillow and tossing it back. "So you don't wanna build a snowman?" He asked though he didn't seem too sad about it. "What the fuck is this? Frozen?" Your sibling groaned but shut up when he saw your glare. Letting out a sigh, you shook your head. "No, Leo. It's too cold for that." "Aw. I was gonna name him Fred. Had a hat and everything.." Leo mumbles, but wraps his arms around your waist anyway, pulling the two of you onto a nearby bed. Not even caring whose bed it was. "Such a shame.." He added with a grin, lifting the blanket from the bed and pulling both you and him under it. After adjusting himself a bit, he laid with his chin resting on your head, eyes closed with his arms still around your waist. He felt warm. Really warm compared to the cold outside. "I love you." He mumbled, kissing your hair. "I love you too, Repair Boy." You said back, a smile appearing on your face as you both began drifting to sleep. You both felt so comfortable and content in each other's arms. It felt nice...Until your sibling chimed in. "Can you guys stop being so-" With a groan, Leo cut him off by throwing a pillow at him. "Where were we? Oh right. I love you, (Name)." He chuckled, resting his chin on your head again. You giggled, snuggling closer to him. "I love you too, Leo."

A: Max is the one who listens to Christmas songs in July. Chloe judges her, but that won't stop her. She likes the festive vibes too much.

B: Max has to build a gingerbread house every year. She feels like she had a failed festive season if she doesn't.

C: Max has takes so many festive pictures. Her camera is filled with pictures of brightly lit trees and Chloe wearing a Santa hat during the month of December.

Boone isn’t bothered by the cold, but he is bothered about having to wear a jacket. He thinks it restricts his movements too much, which causes him to be more on edge about things. He'd much rather be freezing than unprepared, and he refuses to budge on his stance that it makes him less prepared for any possible legion ambushes. The snow makes him a bit antsy in that regard. Not only is he now easier to spot, especially with his beret, but his motions are also limited.

Arcade is one of those people who get cold ridiculously fast, so when it starts snowing for the first time in his life, he'll be in for a rude awakening. Living his whole life in a desert has not prepared him at all for this sudden drop in temperature. He'll be shaking violently the entire time and will beg to go inside--start a fire, anything! He'll be miserable throughout most of it, however, he does like watching it fall from the opening in his tent. He has to admit, it is fairly soothing, and when else will it snow again out here in the Mojave?

Raul’s seen snow once or twice before in his lifetime, but he never imagined he’d ever see it again. It really is a treat, and he can’t help but stand out and stare up at the sky in awe, even if he is freezing. It never snowed much in Mexico, but in those rare few moments that it did, he and his siblings would all go out and play in it before it'd melt away. Seeing it again brings him back to those times, and he can’t help but smile at the memory.

Lily adores the snow and will force you to go out and play in it because “these kinda things only happen every so often!”. She’ll bundle you up in some of her older clothes and teach you how to build a snowman, just like her grandkids used to do it. She's dead set on making memories with you and will force you to take this day off from doing quests to hang out with her. Just be sure not to ask about snowball fights. Leo likes to dominate in those.

Cass finds it to be more of a nuisance than anything, especially for the caravans. How does anyone expect to make it anywhere when the Brahmin are struggling just to walk? Don't even get her started on how cold she is. She hates every second of it and will spend her time inside the nearest bar, forced to listen to the excited chatter and watch as the crowds around the windows and doors grow larger. She's gonna need another bottle...

Veronica’s just glad her robes finally have a use for her. She’ll be the warmest person out there with her thick, dark scribe hood. She’s read about snow once before in some old Brotherhood logs, but seeing it in person really beats the excerpt she read. I mean, honestly, how could someone write such a boring description when experiencing something so beautiful? She loves it and would gladly sit out in the cold for hours just so she can soak it all in before it goes away. If anything, she finds this more of a reason for her chapter to finally leave the bunker and experience life outside.

ED-E gets an absolute kick out of it until the ice freezes his cybernetics. Then he just lays in the snow until someone comes to get him.

Rex will just sit and stare at it. But when someone walks by with a wool hat on their head, he'll go out and chase them. Only then will he discover how much fun the snow is and how much nicer it is on his paws compared to the rough, hot sand he usually stands on.

A cozy winter date with Amir

For a very long time, Amir had simply watched human couples enjoy their time in the snow from up above in the clouds. Many days he had spent gazing down and staring wistfully at the couples they personally had a hand in match-making.

It was unbecoming of a god like them, but secretly they too were yearning to experience the kind of love he inspired in others. Oh, how he longed to play around and have fun in the snow with his very own lover! But alas, for a very long time, these types of feelings were denied to him.

That was until they had laid eyes upon you. The moment he saw you, it was as if his heart was struck by one of his very own arrows. Feelings of love and adoration coursed through them wildly, a feeling that made them feel weak and vulnerable and yet so very happy.

Ever since then, Amir´s desire to have a winter date with his beloved has increased even further. The mere thought of holding your hand while walking through a snowy landscape made his heart flutter.

And though they wish for this to happen so badly, you would most certainly have to be the one to propose the idea. They feel way too shy whenever they are in your presence and they could never imagine being so presumptuous as to believe that you would agree to go on a date with them when you shine so much brighter than any other being in this world

He definitely blushes when you ask him out on a date and yet he gets all jittery from his nerves acting up. He can´t believe his luck! But then he promptly gets nervous when he realizes that he doesn´t have any actual knowledge about what one would do on a wintery date.

You will have to take charge and make a plan for the day and Amir will be happy to go along with whatever you say.

Walking through the snow with you, hand in hand, really is a dream come through for them. Even through the thick gloves, he can feel your warmth radiating through the palm of your hand. You holding on to him like this is pure bliss, it´s better than anything he could have ever imagined.

When you suggest doing a snowball fight, you will have to assure them over and over that you´re okay with him throwing snowballs at you and that no, you will not be hurt or damaged in any way when he does so. Throwing something at you just feels so...violent! Amir can´t imagine himself ever doing that but will cave in when you assure him that it´s fine. (He will still hold himself back from throwing too harshly)

Will let themselves get hit by you on purpose just because he loves the little victorious smile that slips on your lips whenever your snowballs hit their target. Seeing you so happy makes the growing cold coursing through them worth it

Snow angels? Snow angels! Depending on if you already know that they´re a god or not, you might suggest this activity to tease them a little about their angelic nature.

The activity of doing snow angels will be completely foreign to them so you will have to show them what to do exactly. Once he understands what he needs to do, it´s actually quite fun for him. He´s also really into the idea of the both of you making snow angels right next to each other so it looks like your angels are touching.

"Look! It looks like our little angel friends are on a date, too!", you would exclaim when you regard your "masterpiece", a happy smile on your face. Amir also can´t help but smile as well at your enthusiasm.

Amir would never admit that he´s slowly getting cold because he doesn´t want this date to ever end, but you notice him shivering and rubbing his hands together for warmth, so you end up suggesting to go back inside.

A pleasant warmth greets you when you step back inside your house, a welcome change to the blistering cold outside. You help each other take off your winter clothing and you can´t help but pull him close by his scarf, pressing a light kiss on the corner of his mouth, only humming in satisfaction when you see his cheeks reddening dramatically. He´s so very cute.

Seeing as Amir is still in a bit of a daze, you leave them in the living room to prepare some hot chocolate for the both of you, a sweet aroma soon spreading through the house.

With a gentle smile, you hand him one of the mugs, which they accept gratefully, as you sit down next to them on the sofa, huddling close for warmth.

It´s quite a serene moment, you both cuddling under a blanket and drinking your sweet beverage as a snowstorm rages on outside your window. In a rare moment of boldness, Amir draws you in closer, craving your touch and you´re very happy to oblige as you snuggle your face into his chest, their heart thumping loudly beneath.

And as the exhaustion from your outdoor activities finally catches up to you and your eyes slowly close, Amir thinks that they couldn´t imagine being with anyone else.

Summary: How would the first winter be for the three of them? There is a lot of snow on the ground and there is a strong storm, but (D/N) is still having fun and wants to build a snowman with Daryl.

Third PoV:

Even though time passed very slowly in the apocalypse, winter came faster than expected. It was already getting incredibly cold in October, snow was falling on the ground and the wind was blowing hard. The group had to hike further and further, but luckily they found plenty of blankets and warm clothes that they could use. The children and Lori got most of them because Lori was pregnant. (Y/N) and Carol looked after her lovingly while the others went hunting or secured everything.

PoV (Y/N):

It was early in the morning when suddenly someone shook me slightly. Grumbling, I waved my hand around briefly before snuggling closer to Daryl. Daryl and I were now an official couple and he looked after (D/N) as if she were his daughter. “Mom, Daryl wake up!” I heard (D/N) call. I grumbled again, but this time I opened my eyes and I looked at (D/N). She wore thick jackets and a thick scarf. This scarf was way too big for her, so I could only see her eyes.

"What's wrong, honey?" I asked in a tired voice. Daryl growled loudly before sitting up slightly and looking at (D/N). He had been on shift all night and wanted to get some rest. "Why´re ya awake so early, bra´?" the archer also asked tiredly. "There's snow outside!" (D/N) said in an excited voice. Her eyes sparkled strongly as she pointed out the window. Daryl and I looked out the window for a moment before we both looked back at our little one. "No shit, Sherlock." Daryl just growled.

"Let's build a snowman!" She then suggested. Daryl stayed silent for a moment before falling back into bed. He pulled the blanket over his head and pulled me towards him, burying his face between my shoulder blades. I laughed quietly before looking at (D/N). “Does it really have to be now? It’s still so early…” (D/N) nodded excitedly, like a puppy eager to discover something new. But that is also understandable. Before the apocalypse there was hardly any snow in our area and now there were huge mountains of snow outside.

"Please! I'll help a lot more with packing today! And I'll also read my book!" We kept collecting new books so that the children could continue learning, but (D/N) didn't like learning. She preferred to go outside, hunt or explore the woods. More than once Daryl had caught her and then placed her in the quiet corner. "Hah… Daryl." "Why me!?" Before I could answer, he sat up and put on warmer clothes. Then, as he tiredly looked at (D/N), he raised his hand and he showed her the middle finger.

"I'm goin´ ta kill ya, bra´…" He just growled quietly. (D/N) just nodded before running outside. The cold wind shot straight into the house and I snuggled deeper into the blanket. Daryl looked down at me before kneeling down and giving me a kiss. "And I'll kill ya too…" He just growled. I smiled lovingly at him before giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I love you too…" My answer made him snort briefly and he turned away to go out. But I could have sworn I saw him blush.

<Time Skip>

While Daryl and (D/N) were outside, I got ready and prepared everything. Lori had to be examined daily and I helped Hershel diligently. However, due to the cold time we also had food problems, which is why we lived on beans or jerky beef most of the time. "Where are Daryl and (D/N)?" Carol asked me as she came into the room. I looked up from the empty water bottle before smiling wryly and nodding my head towards the door. Carol giggled for a moment before sitting down next to me and helping me.

With all the snow outside, we at least had enough water to drink every day. When we were done examining Lori, I put on thicker clothes and grabbed a knife and Daryl's crossbow. I walked outside with heavy steps and looked around everywhere. There was no wind, but it was snowing lightly. As I stepped into the snow, my leg sank into it until I could no longer see it. "Mom! Look at our snowman!” I heard (D/N) calling for me. My eyes immediately went to (D/N) and Daryl, who continued to work on the snowman. Daryl had (D/N) sitting on his shoulders and he knelt down a bit so she could work on the head.

Despite the cold temperatures, I felt very warm and approached them. The snowman had two eyes and a grim face. She had used small sticks to make the snowman a little beard. "He looks great! Did you have anyone in particular in mind when you were making it?” I asked giggling. (D/N) crossed her arms and nodded. Even though I could barely see her face, I could imagine she had a proud grin. "Daryl!" "Wha´!?" And with these words he let (D/N) fall into the deep snow.

I flinch briefly before I heard (D/N) laugh. Daryl picked her up again and brushed the snow away from her clothes. "Ya can ask yar mom ta build yar stupid snowman next time…" He just growled at her. (D/N) only laughed briefly before she hugged him tightly and ran into the small wooden hut. Laughing, I walked up to him and I kissed his cheek gently. Daryl's skin was ice cold and he was also shaking slightly.

"Thank you for building the snowman with her…" I then thanked him with a loving smile. Daryl just snorted briefly before forcing himself into the hut too. Grinning, I looked at the snowman for a moment before following him.

Winter headcanons!

Peppino: Can't stand the cold, either. He has a better tolerance to cold than heat, though. Will bundle up with every piece of clothing he owns just to stay warm. Definitely gets seasonal depression, this poor old man can't catch a break.

Gustavo: Is neutral about the cold. A bit of a cool breeze makes him happy, but negative temperatures make him bitter. However, warm weather means soup and hot cocoa season! He also gets to wear all of his favorite sweaters! And he LOVES Christmas!

Mr. Stick: Absolutely DESPISES the cold. No matter what he wears, he's freezing. He can't last more than 5 minutes without getting frostbite. He prefers to stay inside in the heat. The cold makes him a but cranky.

Pepperman: Doesn't like the cold. Anything below 40°F (sorry, I'm american, and I don't know celcius) will make him fatigued. Plants don't do too well in the cold, and he is no exception. He would rather light himself on fire than go out in the cold. Has tried to build snowmans of himself, only to nearly die from frostbite.

The Vigilante: Not too keen of the winter. The cold makes his body more solid and harder to move. Lower temperatures means he has to work harder on the farm to keep things going smoothly. But, much like Gustavo, he's a fan of hot soup and cocoa.

The Noise: While he doesn't like being in the cold, he loves sleeping in it. Other than that, he absolutely hates winter. There's a reason he had the NTV tower built in the desert. He probably gets seasonal depression. Tries to hibernate by sleeping surrounded by blankets and snacks. Fails.

Noisette: Another hater of the cold. But she does like winter activities. Ice skating, playing in the snow, and Christmas!! She finally gets to wear all of her favorite sweaters. She also enjoys staying in and snuggling up in thick, fuzzy blankets. Unfortunately, The Noise is hogging most of them. This doesn't stop her from taking them.

Fake Peppino: No! No cold! No like! He does not like the cold at all! It makes him feel icky! He thought snow was pretty until he stepped in it. It was cold, too! He will refuse to go outside until it gets warmer. Frogs do not like the cold!

Pizzaface: Likes the cold. His gears run smoothly without overheating. He likes to throw dangerously giant snowballs at people. Sometimes, it results in casualties. He doesn't care. He thinks it's funny.

Pizzahead: He tolerates the cold. It sucks sometimes, but there's also a lot of good and fun things that come with it. He likes having snowball fights, building snowmen, build igloos, ice skating, and all sorts of fun things. He just can't stay in it too long, or he'll freeze solid.

Pillar John: Not too keen on the cold. It doesn't really phase him much since he's made of rocks, but he's still not a big fan. He's been a victim of Pizzaface's giant snowballs. That's how he got some of his cracks.

Gerome: Couldn't care less. The cold doesn't bother him since he's also made of stone. In fact, it makes good sleeping weather. He doesn't understand why some people hate it. Of course, he's immune to freezing to death, soooo...

Building a snowman!!!!!!!

Like, going through the whole process. Unsure what memories can be shared between both Legacy and normal Ajax so you teach him how to make one anyway.

Rolling the snow to make a decently big snowball, and building it up from there. You also let him unleash that creativity and decorate the snowman. It comes out looking... strange, as in it's oddly creative in ways unfamiliar to humans, because cmon he's an abyss monster, he has different mental images for inspiration. But it's horribly endearing at the same time. (You totally snap a photo with a Kamera. Or a few. Or multiple. Turns out making a winter album/diary isn't that bad of an idea.)

Also I leave you with the delightful image of Legacy making a terrifyingly huge snow angel on his back and chittering happily. Adorable lil mothman. :D

listen, Foul Legacy ADORES snow. he loves playing in it, catching snowflakes on his tongue, watching snow fall from indoors, everything about it. so it's no surprise when he happily darts outside during the first snow of winter, romping and spinning around until he falls in a dizzy heap, letting out delighted clicks and chitters. you're almost as overjoyed as he is- Liyue doesn't get a lot of snow- and before long you're teaching Legacy how to build a snowman, you with gloved hands and he with his claws. the end result is not like any snowman you've ever seen, but you like the flowing shapes and edges better, in all honesty, steadying your hand to take a photo as Legacy excitedly nuzzles against you and purrs

he also adores burying himself in snow, just completely vanishing under a blanket of white. you're not sure how, maybe it's a side effect of being in the Abyss for so long, but he can also SLEEP like that, snoozing away under the snow while you're wondering where he went. it's only when you nudge the suspiciously Foul Legacy-sized mound that he shifts, rumbling sleepily and stretching his arms as he shakes snow from his wings. and of course the snow made him a bit chilly, so he gently nudges you inside until you're sitting beside the fireplace, Legacy curling around you and snuggling his head against your lap with a drowsy trill until you fall asleep with him <33

What the Ouran Members Would Bring to the Gift Exchange:

Heads up, this is aggressively long at 1k words, but it was a blast and a half to write, so enjoy!

Honey - He’s been forever banned from bringing sweets because he either a) eats them all on the way home from the store, b) eats them at home in the middle of the night, c) eats them all on the way to the party, or d) guilt trips whoever gets his gift into giving him the tasty snack. Thus, Honey is NOT allowed to bring anything edible -  Honey brings the largest, fluffiest, and pinkest stuffed animal bunny that money could possibly buy. 

Mori - Baby chickens - this guy loves his animals, and assumes that naturally everyone else also loves animals, right? He hadn’t been watching his roosters and chickens as closely as he thought he’d had, and baby chickens hatched! So, he brought the joy of life to the gift exchange. This year it was held at the twins’ place, and Kyoya made the mental note to put in NO LIVE ANIMALS ALLOWED AS GIFTS OR IN MY HOUSE in the invitation note when it was his turn to host the next year.

Kaoru -  A collection of his favorite books, teas, and candies. He was hesitant at first because some of the books meant a lot to him, and he was sensitive about being teased about the things that truly meant something to him. He still went with this gift though because it would be fun to enjoy now that it was cold outside, and they all couldn’t go out as much as they wanted.

Hikaru - A giant chest full of magic and prank toys. Some are quite expensive and others are cheap, commoner ones that he’d been researching for a few weeks. It’s an odd gift for the exchange, but they are all odd members, and Hikaru actually put a surprising amount of thought into the gift. 

Haruhi - A bento box. Haruhi was desperate for ideas on what to give the richest people she knew, the ones who had just about anything they could possibly desire. As the day for their first gift exchange drew nearer, and was thinking of ways to get out of the event, she overheard the twins discussing how much they wanted to try her cooking again. Whether a planned overhearance or not, Haruhi thought that a bento box would be a great idea. When thinking it over, the only one who wouldn’t like the box would be Kyoya, and even though her luck in regards to the club was 50/50 for good or bad, she liked the 5 out of 6 chances that someone would be thrilled. She searched everywhere for a cute present shaped box, all green with a red bow. She carefully cooked the rice, rolled the omlet, and put the food together nicely. Haruhi also made some cookies and placed them in a pretty bag to go with the bento. It was a lovely gift, and, as expected, the most fought after gift at the exchange.

Kyoya - A crisp new dollar bill. There is a graph of How Recently have the Club Members Annoyed Me to How Much the New Bill Will Be constantly tallied up in his head. He even, out of boredom, created an app for that sole purpose of being able to show the chart to Tamaki when Tamaki accused Kyoya of going cheap on them all. The 25 recent calls in the span of an hour the week previously about a play by play of making snowman and then Oudette eating the carrot did not help in Tamaki’s favor. Kyoya also gets away with just giving money because, well, he’s Kyoya, and because he does actually go to the bank (or at least, sends someone), and he can make the argument that it’s essentially the same as going to the store. Really, Kyoya should have been a lawyer, everyone that has any other complaints about the money, eventually gives up.

Tamaki - A portrait of the entire Host Club smiling and frolicking while playing Kick the Can, painted by himself. He said he’d taken classes for months in order to perfectly capture the liveliness and love between all of the members.

Bonus: Who ended up with what?

Honey: Hikaru’s chest of pranks. He can’t wait to find more ways to torment his brother.

Mori: Haruhi’s bento box - He drew the last number, and used his Ultimate Steal to steal the bento even after it had been locked in by being stolen too many times. He ate a cookie at the exchange ever so smuggly, gave his compliments to Haruhi, and then finished the rest the next day while studying. It was by far the best food he’d eaten all week. 

Kaoru: Kyoya’s money. He was thinking of buying a new game with it. He’d seen one in the store, and it would be more enjoyable to play knowing Kyoya had bought it. But then Haruhi messaged in the group chat after the party to let everyone know she’d made it home safely (so they wouldn’t follow her home to make sure of it themselves, most likely), warned them all to be careful in the snow, and wished them once again happy holidays. Kaoru decided at that moment that he really didn’t need more money. He broke the bill down into smaller bills and placed them in Haruhi’s bag when she wasn’t looking throughout the next two months for her to find later. That was like a gift in itself to him when she grinned at having found an extra bit of money she hadn’t realized was there before.

Hikaru: Kaoru’s books, teas, and candies. Kaoru was puzzled because Hikaru could just borrow his, but Hikaru shrugged and took his gift quietly. He’d been feeling a little distant from Kaoru lately, and reading what he enjoyed might help Hikaru find that connection he was craving.

Haruhi: Honey’s bunny. She’s actually quite excited for it, and uses it as a resting cushion when she watches TV and studies. More often than not though, she falls asleep and has the sweetest, softest dreams shrouded in pink.

Kyoya: Tamaki’s portrait. He didn’t particularly want it, he claimed, but he knew it would go for enough money on their auction page to support club activities for nearly a month. The portrait is now hanging in a corner of his room.

Tamaki: Mori’s baby chickens. Tamaki is not known for his ability to think things through, restrain himself, or full picture thinking. He adopted the baby chickens and promptly made them his entire family’s problem.

Jenna  We had a fan question from Kaley D in Montreal, Canada, who said, What were the snowmen made of in the parking lot scene? How do you do this in the L.A. temperatures? Kaley, we talked a lot about this last week because it was very warm the week we were filming this episode, and these snowmen were made out of real snow. Rainn Wilson, who directed this episode, said that the snow effects for this episode required 100 tons of chipped ice. 

Angela  Wow. 

Jenna In order to make these snowmen, the special effects team had built the metal molds, and they hand packed them. But unlike the one in the previous episode where the back was open so that Dwight could get in, you notice these are full snowmen. 

Angela  Right. Because they run through them. And Jim, like, is attacking them with the umbrella, and they're dense. 

Jenna  Mindy said the snowmen took an entire day to build, and they also took a lot of maintenance. And the biggest thing that they had to worry about were footprints. They had to make sure that the footprints were only one person. So, you know, even though it took many people to place all these snowmen, it had to look like Dwight did it himself. 

Angela  Oh, my gosh. That's attention to detail, folks. 

Jenna  Randy Cordray said for this whole episode, labor, materials, real and fake snow, making all the snowmen, the special effects budget was over $65,000. 

Angela  Well, there was a lot. 

Jenna  There was a lot. But guess what? 

Angela  What? 

Jenna No one's going to pop out of these snowman. Dwight is actually up on the roof. And he says, in the end, the greatest snowball is fear.
