I feel so high school every time I look at you, I wanna find you in a crowd just to hide from you...
Mingyu was your dream man in many ways than one. The perfect boy to bring home to your parents, cooked delicious meals for you, and overall made you feel safe.Â
You two had been engaged for months now, and wedding planning was well underway, the date set for early into the new year. As if it wasnât stressful enough, your mom had already started questioning whether the two of you had wanted children, or planned to in the future. The answer was always the same,
âMom, I donât know⌠we havenât talked about it into a lot of detail⌠maybe later onâŚâ or Câmon, weâre still young, Mom!âÂ
Mingyu didnât know any of this, and youâd probably never tell him, not wanting him to feel pressured by your badgering mother. You both knew you wanted children eventually, but you never talked that far into the future.
But⌠you also thought⌠maybe you would want to have children, if it was with Mingyu.Â
Mingyu would be the father to play dress up and makeovers with your daughter, have tea parties with her, or play with faux tools with your son and pretend to fix things, and play with plastic dinosaurs.
You couldn't picture anybody that would be more perfect to do it with than him.
Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me? It's just a game, but really I'm bettin' on all three for us two...
Mingyu stands at the kitchen counter, cooking dinner like he usually does, and he usually insists since he gets home a little earlier from work than you do most days.Â
You come from the kitchen after changing out of your work clothes to see him chopping garlic as a pot is boiling on the stove.Â
âWhat are you making?â
âAgio e olio,â Mingyu responds, looking up to smile at you briefly. âI know itâs your favorite, and you said you were craving it.â
You smile, coming over to kiss him on the cheek quickly. âThank you, you make it so good anyway.â You chuckle as he playfully rolls his eyes.Â
He tosses the garlic in a pan on the stove, stirring it a little, then adds the pasta to the boiling water.
You decide now is the time to break your silence, and tell him whatâs been on your mind lately.
âGyu,â You speak up. â⌠I think we should talk about something.âÂ
âWhat?â Mingyuâs gaze turns to meet yours, a concerned look on his face, and you immediately want to kiss him and make it go away.
âWhy? Whatâs wrong?â
âIâve been thinkingâŚâ You pause, racking your brain on how to word what youâre about to tell him, also given that you didnât want to scare him. âWhat do you think about us⌠having a baby?âÂ
You look up at his undeniable surprised expression; after all you did come out of nowhere with that statement.
âI mean, I know we havenât really discussed it much, and weâre getting married in a few months⌠but I have been thinking about it a lot, and I want to, weâre at that age-â You break out into a nervous ramble before he cuts you off.
âIâve thought about it too. I thought it should be something that we shouldâŚyou know⌠talk about.â Mingyu says.
âI donât want to put any pressure on you, or I guess, on us.â You continue. âI know weâre not married officially yet, and our wedding isnât until a few more months, but I donât know, I think I want to.âÂ
Mingyu turns to you, smiling ear to ear in the adorable happy puppy way he typically does when heâs over the top excited about something. âI know, me too.â
âDoes this mean⌠weâre trying?â You canât even hide your smile, your cheeks hurt as you attempt to be the least bit nonchalant.
âYeah⌠fuck⌠câmere.â Mingyu pulls you closer to him, kissing you fervently.
You pull back, releasing his grip from your waist.
âHey, after dinner,â You smirk, giggling at his eagerness. âYouâre gonna burn your garlic.â
âMingyu⌠I canât, fuck-â You whine, your face nearly buried into the pillow underneath you.
âYeah you can babyâŚâ Mingyu grunts, his hand slides up your back to push you down even more. âTaking it all like a good girlâŚâ
You nearly collapse as you can barely hold yourself up anymore, and youâre being pushed forward almost to the headboard from the force of him behind you.
âIâm gonna come, âgyu.â You cry, your hand trailing down to rub tight circles on your clit, making your thighs tremble as you push yourself closer to the edge.Â
âGo on babyâŚâ Mingyu groans, feeling you get tighter around him. âCum all over my cock like a good girl.â
You cry his name again as he pushes you over the edge, white-knuckling the sheets as he keeps thrusting inside you, almost even harder.
âFuckâŚâ  He groans as he slows down, stilling before he comes inside you.
He pulls out, watching himself drip out of you briefly as he curses under his breath, before he pushes it back inside you with two fingers, making you whine.
âSorry, babyâŚâ Mingyu sweetly apologizes.
You flip over on your back, pulling him down to kiss him.
âI wanna go againâŚâ You say against his lips, pushing his sweaty long hair back.
âReally?â He asks sweetly, leaning down to kiss your neck a few times. âWasnât too much?â
âNeverâŚâ
Truth, dare, spin bottles, You know how to ball, I know Aristotle Brand new, full-throttle, Touch me while your bros play Grand Theft Auto...
The next few weeks were just the usual. Going into work during the day, shopping for the wedding with your sister, ⌠Mingyu practically never leaving you alone, but that you wouldnât complain about.
âWhat kind of flowers are you guys doing?â Your sister asks you. The two of you made plans to get coffee, and you guys typically talked about whatever. She always voiced her opinion on your life whether it was boyfriends, career moves, and now: your wedding.
âWhite lilies; one of my favorites. Mingyu said I could just pick what I wanted, heâs happy with whatever I choose.â You say.
âThatâs sweet,â She smiles, stirring her matcha latte. âEven though, he probably doesnât care.â She chuckles.
âYouâre probably right, I think he has other things on his mind other than flowers.â You laugh, only you know what you mean by that.Â
You never told her the both of you had been trying to have a baby.
âIâve always liked him, though, you know that.â She smiles. âIf thereâs anybody you marry and spend forever with, i'm glad itâs him. Heâs just right for you.â
You smile, glancing down as your gaze flickers on your sparkling engagement ring under the coffee shop lights.
Youâre definitely glad itâs him.
âDo you mind if we go into the grocery store down the street? I need to just run in and get a few things.â She asks you.
You nod. âYeah, thatâs fine. I could probably use a few things too.âÂ
âHow do you know if a watermelon is a really good one?â She asks you, as the fruit by the entrance catches her eye.
âYouâre asking me?â You laugh. âI have no idea, I have heard though if theyâre a dark green, itâs too watery.â
âYou were always good at picking them, I know Mom used to always say that.â She replies. âMaybe I wonât get one, are they even in season?â
âProbably not, itâs November. Anyway, what did you need here?â You say, grabbing a hand basket for yourself.
âJust usual stuff, yogurt⌠eggs, oat milk, some strawberries⌠whatever else I find that I think i need.â She says, placing strawberries and avocados in her cart. Already straying from the list.Â
You follow her, bagging up some apples, cucumbers, and brussel sprouts into your basket.Â
Youâre both wandering down the ice cream aisle, as youâre grabbing whatever pint of peanut butter ice cream you can find, when your sister speaks up.
âOh! Letâs go to the hygiene section, I need to get some tampons. That time of the month soon.â
You pause, ice cream in hand, suddenly racking your brain trying to remember when the last time your period was. A few weeks ago? Last month? Were you supposed to get it? Were you late?
âY/nâŚ? Whatâs wrong? Everything okay?â She asks, seemingly able to read your inner monologue going on in your head.Â
âY-yeahâŚâ You reply, placing the ice cream in your basket, all while your heart is still racing. Was it joy? Nervousness? âItâs just⌠I canât remember the last time I had my periodâŚâ
I'm watching American Pie with you on a Saturday night Your friends are around, so be quiet, I'm trying to stifle my sighs 'Cause I feel so high school, Every time I look at you...
âI feel bad doing this without him,â You say, staring down at the two blinking pregnancy tests on the counter. âMingyu should be hereâŚâ
âHeâll be home from work soon wonât he? Youâll tell him then. Câmon, heâll understand, practically sister code for me to be the first one to know.â She replies, checking the time on her phone.Â
Itâs true, you both always did tell each other everything before you told anybody else.Â
âItâs almost time.â
âI canât look.â You anxiously turn away. âItâs killing me.â
âHow did this happen?â She asks. âI mean⌠not to be noseyâŚ.â
âWell we talked about it, and weâve been kinda⌠sorta, trying to get pregnant.âÂ
âWhat?! How come you didnât tell me you were?â She exclaims, playfully shoving you.
âWe decided to about a little over a month ago. We talked about it, we decided it was something we both wanted,â You start, just as her phone timer goes off, you quickly turn around from the counter. âOh my god, oh my god, I canât look.â
âIâll do it first,â She says, shoving her way in front of you. âOh my god⌠y/nâŚâ You can hear the excitement and smile in her voice.
You turn around, facing the two tests.
You see it, âpregnantâ, displayed clearly on both.
âOh my god, I donât,â You almost stutter, lost for words. âI- I donât know what to say.â
âGood news?â She asks.
âYeah, yeah, of course.â You smile, suddenly becoming teary, feeling a bunch of emotions at once. Excitement. Nervousness.  âI just- fuck⌠I wish Mingyu was here. I didnât want to find out like this.â
âRelax, youâll tell him later,â She laughs. âEspecially âcause I know you wonât be able to keep this from him long.â
âNo, youâre absolutely right. Thereâs no way Iâm holding it in.â
And in a blink of a crinkling eye I'm sinking, our fingers entwined Cheeks pink in the twinkling lights Tell me 'bout the first time you saw me...
You spend the evening trying to decide elaborate ways that youâll tell him.Â
Putting a test in a gift bag as a present? Corny.
Hiding it somewhere and letting him find it? Too lame.
You decided to literally just come right out and tell him, especially because you didnât want to figure out some cliche way of getting it out.
Mingyu comes home from work, greeting you as he walks in the door, adorably kissing your forehead as he wraps his arms around you, perfectly engulfing you.
âHow was your day, honey?â He sweetly asks you, genuinely curious as heâs awaiting your answer.Â
âIt was good actually, I had coffee with my sister, then we went to the grocery store, doesnât sound like much but we had fun.â You lean up and kiss his lips, smiling.
âBut itâs better now that youâre here.âÂ
Mingyu smiles, kissing you again.
âIâm going to get changed really quick, okay?â Mingyu says.
You jokingly pout. âAw, but you look so nice in your slacks and button up shirt⌠at least let me savor it.â You reach up, undoing a few buttons on his shirt.
âEnjoying this?â Mingyu chuckles.
âYes, very.â You smile.
âWell I was gonna ask you, if you wanted to, Wonwoo and Seungcheol asked if we wanted to go out and get dinner with them, and hang out maybe get some drinks.â He continues, before he starts walking off to your shared bedroom to change, as you follow him. âWonwoo asked me before I left the office.âÂ
âI donât know⌠maybe?â You reply, hesitating a bit.
Meanwhile your mind works a mile a minute trying to think of how to break this news of yours to him.
âIt wouldnât be until a little later, if thatâs better. No rush.â Mingyu says, nonchalantly unbuttoning his shirt and slipping it off. What a distraction.Â
He slips on a white t-shirt , and gray sweatpants; his usual after work attire. Suddenly you wonder if whatever you have to tell him is really that important anyway, and you immediately consider just saying âforget itâ and fucking him right here in the early hours of the evening. Whatâd be the big deal? You were already pregnant, anyways.
No! You quickly shake that thought from your mind, refocusing.
âGyu,â You start, getting his full attention. âThereâs something⌠I have to tell you something.â
âWhat?âÂ
âIâm not even really sure how to tell you, um hang on,â You continue, leaving the room quickly to retrieve one of the pregnancy tests youâd left in the bathroom.Â
You come back, very obviously holding something behind your back.
âI guess I should say I kind of have a surprise to tell you.â
âWhat? What?â Mingyu asks, eager already by the way youâre already smirking, unable to contain yourself.
âItâs, um, thisâŚâ You start, pulling the test from behind your back. âI didnât know how to tell you, I was gonna plan something but I couldnât wait.â You laugh, smiling ear to ear.
Mingyu takes it from you, seemingly uncaring, or forgetting, that you literally peed on the thing. His mouth drops opened, in awe.
âOh my godâŚâ He speaks, beaming. âWhen did you find out?âÂ
âToday, actually.â You say. âI wound up taking a test, and⌠yeah.âÂ
You sigh. âI feel so weird about it, I know I was expecting it but I feel so excited and nervous at the same time.â
You glance up at Mingyu, and you see him still examining the test in his hand.
âAre you okay?â
âYeah, yeah,â Mingyu nods, his eyes meeting yours and you see heâs now smiling. âIâm just⌠happy, surprised..â
âI mean, cmon, what were we really expectingâŚâ You joke, blushing.
âYou know what I mean, itâs still crazy to me.â Mingyu comes closer to you, kissing you.Â
âYeah, it sure isâŚâ You smile up at him.Â
âItâs okay, honey,â Mingyu reassures you, speaking softly. âJust get it outâŚâ
Mingyu kneels behind you on the cold tile floor, holding your hair back as youâre hanging your head over the toilet as your stomach empties its contents.
âThere you goâŚâÂ
You wonder how he can even stand to be in the bathroom with you, if the roles were reversed, youâd be outside the door nearly gagging.
âAre you okay?â Mingyu asks, helping you sit up, as he wraps his arms around you to keep you steady.Â
You slowly nod as you flush, still feeling a touch of nausea. âYeah, can you just- just stay here for a little bit.âÂ
Mingyu sits on the tile floor as he leans against the bathtub, and he guides you back to sit in front of him.
You lean back into him, and he leans down and kisses your shoulder. You catch a glance at his watch on his wrist even in the dim light of the very early morning.
âOh my god, Gyu, is it really 5am?â You groggily ask, feeling sorry. âYou have to work in the morning, donât you?â
âShh, itâs okay, itâs not a big deal.â Mingyu reassures you. âI can always go in a little later, I wanna make sure youâre okay.âÂ
ââŚI think Iâm good now,â You say, starting to stand up slowly, as Mingyu helps you all the way. ââŚYou know, I have heard that the more nauseas you are, it probably means youâre having a girl. And if you have none at all, itâs probably a boy.â
Mingyu chuckles, âWhere do you come up with this? Is that even a thing?âÂ
âThe internet⌠you know, social media. Everythingâs on there.â You protest.
âYouâre delirious,â Mingyu playfully rolls his eyes. âCmon, letâs go back to bed.â
âGyu, we have to leave in like an hour,â You say, as youâre getting ready in the bathroom, finishing up your final touches on your hair. âI donât want to be late for dinner at my parents house.â
Mingyu stands in the doorway now, âThis okay?â He shows off a navy blue polo shirt and black jeans.Â
âYeah, honey, you look nice.â You smile. âBesides, you could wear anything around her, she adores you anyways.âÂ
It was true. Your mother would always be calling Mingyu to help around the house when your Father was away on a business trip. She needed help fixing something? Sheâd call Mingyu. She needs help building a side table? You bet sheâs calling Mingyu. His height was also a bonus, being able to reach things stored higher up.
Mingyu smiles at you adoringly, as his eyes trail down your body.
âWhat?â You ask when you notice him.
âYouâre starting to show a little,â He smiles. âYou look cute.â
You giggle, placing your hands on your stomach. âYeah I know, she wants to be seen now, sheâs done hiding.âÂ
âWell, are my girls ready to go?â Mingyu smiles, kissing you.Â
âYeah,â You giggle, smiling as you kiss him again. âLetâs go.âÂ
It's true, swear, scouts honor You knew what you wanted and boy, you got her.

Neighbors Extra VII
Read Neighbors here | ~1.8k words
From me: surprise! This has been in my drafts since I finished the original storyline
Warnings: none
Summary: It's the first s'mores fire of the summer. She and Harry are in love with their little life. And Rory hates lying.
âHey lad,â Harry said. They were sitting on the couch watching the latest Disney movie that Rory had been asking to watch. Harry paused it and Rory looked at Harry curiously. He wondered if he forgot to put his shoes away or a different chore that Mumma asked before she left to see his Auntie. âDâyou remember when yâwent to the hospital cause yâwere sick... and we ate pancakes the next morning?â
âI remember. Mumma made chocolate milk,â he nodded.
âRight,â Harry chuckled. The real highlight of that morning it seemed. âDo yâremember me asking if I could date, Mummy?â
He thought for a moment and nodded. For Rory, that was a weird question when it was asked. But he didnât think too much of it in itself because he was little. Also, Harry was his best friend, so he didnât really mind because it just meant he got to play with Harry more often. âYeah, I remember.â
Harry smiled, took a deep breath. âDo yâthink youâd be okay with me marrying Mummy?â
âWhatâs that? Like have Christmas with Mumma?â his little brow puckered together. âWe already do that Harry, silly.â
Harry chuckled, shaking his head. Rory was the cutest thing in the entire world. âThatâs merry with an e, lad. I said marry with an a. Dâyou know what marry means?â
He shook his head. âI hearded it once in a movie.â
Harry smiled and looked at his hands a moment before he looked up at the now six-year-old. âI ask Mummy if she wants tâmarry me and if she says yes, I have tâgive Mummy a ring tâput on her finger. And then we would have a big party.â
âI like parties,â Rory smiled impishly nodding his head.
Harry laughed quietly again and nodded. âMe too. All of our friends and family would come and... well Iâd be Mummyâs husband and sheâd be my wife.â
Rory knew those words from kindergarten. His teacher had a husband. âWouldnât you be my dad, then?â
Swallowing nervously, Harry nodded. He was wondering if Rory would think about that. âWell, yeah, kind of.â
âI thought you already were,â Rory shrugged casually.
Harry chuckled. He could have cried if he wasnât trying so hard to keep it together. âWell thanks, lad. I kind of think so too. This would make it a bit more real.â
âWould you and Mumma have another baby?â
âMaybe,â Harry smiled. He certainly hoped so.
âI think Mumma would like a girl,â he told Harry. âSo then she would have someone to play with like I play with you.â
Harry smiled. âSo I can marry her?â
âDoes this mean you have to kiss more?â He wrinkled his nose.
âProbably.â
âI still donât like kissing,â he grumbled.
âI know, lad. We wonât kiss that much in front of you.â
âWell, yeah,â he shrugged. âYou can marry her. Can we finish the movie?â
Harry pulled Rory into his arms and gave him a huge hug and kissed the top of his head. âI love you, Rory,â Harry said knowingly.
âI love you too, Harry,â he giggled.
*
âMumma, do we have sâmores stuff?â Rory asked.
âHmm... let me go look,â she said. âIâll get some drinks, too. Do you want anything in particular, baby?â She asked looking at Harry.
Harryâs heart warmed at her kindness as always. âMâfine, kitten, thank you.â
âCareful around the fire, boys,â she said as she headed back for the house to look for supplies and drinks. Rory was sitting patiently by the fire while Harry kept an eye on him and the flames. Glancing toward the gate leading out toward the front he saw a single hand wave over top and then a thumbs up.
âHey lad, dâyou remember our conversation from a couple weeks ago? When I asked you if I could marry Mummy?â
He nodded watching the flames. âWeâll have a party, right?â
Harry chuckled. âYes,â he nodded. âWould yâwant tâhelp me ask Mummy?â He wondered.
He shrugged. âSure!â He wasnât doing anything at the moment. Mumma and Harry always said he was a really good helper too.
âGood,â Harry grinned. âMâgonna ask her when she comes back out. Dâyou think yâcan give her this?â He asked, handing him a card from the back of his chairâs pocket compartment. He nodded. âTell her yâmade it at school and yâwant to give it to her now,â he winked.
âThatâs lying, Harry,â Rory pouted and shook his head. âMumma doesnât like lying.â
Shoot. Harry forgot that Rory was the sweetest little boy in the world. âYouâre right. Sâa little fib, I promise sheâll forgive you. This is the one time.â He wrinkled his eyebrows together and pursed his lips. Rory really wanted to help Harry. But he did not like the idea of lying to Mumma. She would get really mad. âI promise this one is okay,â Harry said again.
Rory sighed and nodded. âOkay... just this once though.â
Harry nodded and crossed over his heart. âJust this once.â
âAlright boys,â she said returning with her arms full, silencing Harryâs prep work. âI have the goods. Are we ready for the first sâmores fire of the summer?â She said wrinkling her nose so cutely as she settled the stuff on the nearby patio table. Harry glanced at the gate once more and then back to her.
âHere, love,â Harry said moving to her side and pressing a hand on her lower back. âLet me,â he smiled. âYou sit,â he said pressing a kiss on the side of her head so gently she wondered what that was all about. It was just sâmores. And she liked sâmores. She was good at making them and didnât mind in the slightest. But it was nice as always for Harry to just do things for her after so many years of having to do everything on her own. Even when he did little things like scooping Rory up from his car seat or carrying the groceries in, it just made everything so much easier for her.
She thought about the month and a half she tried avoiding Harry. It was by far the stupidest thing she had ever done, and she wondered often what would have happened if she never got over her silly fears. But fortunately, she didnât have to worry long, because Harry was right there, making sâmores for her and Rory like he always did.
âMumma, I made this in school,â Rory said suddenly pulling her from her thoughts. Rory looked at Harry impishly as he handed the envelope to his mum. Good thing this would be the only lie. He was a little worse for wear on the delivery.
âFor me?â She smiled curiously and took the envelope in her fingers. She slid open the top.
âUh-huh,â Rory giggled sheepishly.
Harry glanced at the gate again and then held his breath as she pulled the card from the envelope. âWhatâs it say, Mumma?â Rory giggled and if she hadnât already been reading the words on the card, she would have realized Rory had no part in this little scheme.
She turned suddenly after her eyes scanned the card once and she looked at Harry with wild eyes. âHarry?â She asked nervously.
âHarry said I could lie,â Rory said quickly seeing her discomfort and was worried he would get in trouble. He didnât like it when Mumma was mad at him. Mumma was the best and didnât ask Rory to do anything except to not lie. âJust this once,â he promised.
âThatâs okay, love bug,â she said softly barely looking at him as she did. Relieved that he wasnât going to upset Mumma, Rory sat back in his chair and waited for Harry to do whatever it was that he wanted to do.
For once, she ignored Rory. Her eyes stayed on Harry as she felt her heart nearly beat out of her ribs. âWhat does it say, beautiful?â Harry smiled. His eyes were so gentle.
âIt says âLife is sâmore fun with you, will you spend the rest of it with me?ââ She read carefully.
Harry bit his lip. âIt is sâmore fun with you,â he repeated, and he moved in front of her chair and knelt between the fire and her. âWill you marry me?â It was amazing Harry could be so hopelessly in love with her and have her still be so surprised that she was deserving of love that was so all encompassing, Harry sometimes wondered how he could stay upright.
âReally?â She whispered breathlessly and her eyes darted to Rory so briefly, but Harry still caught it.
Harry chuckled. âYes, really, you silly, sweet thing,â he rolled his eyes. âMâhorribly in love with you and would like tâspend the rest of our lives together,â he repeated. âPlease marry me?â He repeated.
âAre you sure?â
âJesus Christ, just say yes!â Her sisterâs voice distinctly called from the front gate.
âYou brought my sister here?â She asked with a teary giggle.
âAuntie?!â Rory shouted and ran for the gate.
âUm... I brought everyone... I really anticipated you saying âyesâ a lot quicker than this,â he chuckled awkwardly. Rory opened the gate, and the entourage of people Harry invited came through the gate. Her eyes lifted to look at them so briefly she barely saw who was in attendance. Her eyes returned to Harry knelt before her waiting expectantly for her answer. âIâll beg if you want,â he said softly with a grin.
âMumma, look! Grandmaâs here!â
She smiled and waved to her mom standing beside Anne and Gemma who were watching with such happy smiles. âYou really want to marry me?â She asked softly. As if no one was in the backyard except her and Harry.
âVery badly,â he nodded, and he pulled the box from his pocket. âMaybe this will help,â he smiled gently. The diamond glittered in the sun so beautifully. Harry was wonderful. He always was and this was no exception. But she closed the box quickly as she answered.
âIâd marry you without it,â she whispered.
He chuckled, shook his head at her. âSo thatâs a yes?â Harry had never felt so happy. He didnât think she would say no, but he knew she could convince herself she didnât deserve happiness if he gave her enough time.
âGod, yes,â she nodded and giggled excitedly. She leaned forward as Harry moved toward her as well and kissed her sweetly on the lips.
âYou said no kissing!â Rory called.
She laughed against his lips, ignoring her sonâs protest and continued kissing Harry. âIâll love you forever,â she promised.
Harry grinned, nodded, and kissed her again as he mumbled against her lips. âAnd then some.â

Loverâs Rock~ S. Reid
Spencer Reid x Fem Reader
Summary: Spencer isnât the only one that stands out in the crowd, but maybe thatâs a good thing, because thatâs what leads him to you.
Warnings: I didnât really proof read, Iâll do it later lol. 18+ content towards the end. Um Reid is such a dweeb and adorable???? Fluff, mentions of alcohol and embarrassment. Reader is so twee (can we bring twee back or no?) idk she makes questionable fashion choices.
Really, this wasnât your thing.
The bar scene, the club dresses all the girls where, the high heels and the whole game of cat and mouse that all the guys want to play. But youâre here, you made an effort to appease your best friends who claim you have no social life.
The entire night so far, they watched you strike out with the guys they motioned over because in their mind, youâre desperate and lonely and lame.
Okay, maybe thatâs more of your headspace than theirs, but theyâve been offering you pity glances this whole time.
Youâve made a decision a while ago that maybe there was no romance out there for you. You were just born with some aspect that made normal, sane guys physically run away, and maybe thatâs fine. You were really good on your own. And it never did feel right when you had a guy, if it didnât feel like the movies, it wasnât worth it.
Right?
Okay, maybe you should settle, at some point, youâll be too old to marry and youâll just keep working, with no real life and take care of Shelly, your goldfish. Maybe it wonât be perfect, but itâll be someone to share things with.
You let out a huff and watch the ice melt in your drink, not bothering to smile when your friend tells you to brighten up.
Normally, youâre a ray of sunshine, but something about getting rejected four consecutive times is raining on your parade.
An entire bar full of happy people in their element, and itâs just you, sticking out like a sore thumb, especially when your friends go dance with a few guys they hit it off with.
Too busy looking at the buckle on the ankle strap of your heel, you are sinking somewhere in your mind, to a place where you arenât listening to cheap song lyrics of and realizing that table is stickier than you thought.
âWhereâs Reid?â
âReid.â
âSpencer!â Penelope smacks his shoulder, pulling him from the trance of his eyes on the book pages.
He looks up from the corner booth, seeing his team has returned with drinks.
âAre you seriously reading right now?â Morgan criticizes, placing a beer in front of the younger agent.
Spencer doesnât know why he does this, beer tastes like a plowed hay field in his opinion. But he takes the drink in gratitude and before he can explain that he was just trying to finish the Russian publishing of âCrime and Punishmentâ, Morgan rips the book from his hands and tosses it to Emily for safe keeping.
âI- what was that for?â Spencer questions with a unjust squeak, feeling rather sad.
âLook around, kid, do you see how many fine ladies are here? You donât need to be sitting here with your nose between the pages of Little Women.â Morgan states as a matter of fact.
âYeah, nobody puts baby in the corner.â Penelope agrees.
With an airy scoff, Spencer looks to the other members for help, but they all seem to side with Derek.
He gains a defeated frown.
Spencer didnât want to be here in the first place, now heâs being forced out into the public to socialize. There has to be a law against this, he knows thereâs not because he knows everything, but he is certainly going to try and create one.
âOh come on, Spence, why donât you try to get a date?â JJ asks, meaning well, but the laugh that comes from Emily makes him want to recoil.
âCâmon, Iâll help you.â Morgan offers, pulling him from the booth seat.
âYeah, that never really works well when you try to be my wingman, you usually end up with all the phone numbers.â Spencer claims, pressing his lips into a line.
But like some mock savior, Morgan stands behind Reid as they wait by the bar.
âWhat about her?â Morgan would point out.
To which Reid would respond with some variation of âsheâs too muchâ or âshe definitely has a boyfriend three times my sizeâ.
After fifteen minutes of this back and forth, Morgan is seriously regretting he forced the hermit out of his shell.
And thatâs when a rowdy group finally leaves and clears the path of vision to you.
Still sat at a high table with one leg crossed over the other, you wiggle your foot as you doodle on a drink napkin.
Reid misses whatever Morgan says, and in that air of silence, the agent follows the vision.
âOkay, now weâre getting somewhere.â Derek chuckles, clapping Reid on the shoulder. âSheâs pretty. Go talk to her.â
âWhat?â Reid looks away. âNo, no, I donât want to disturb her.â
You let out a very bored sigh.
Derekâs brows furrow. âI know youâre some boy genius but you really are dumb sometimes. Everything about that girl is screaming âput me outa my miseryâ.â
Spencer tilts his head slightly, watching you rub your eye and then frown at the way you smudged your already smudged eye liner.
âOkay, maybe youâre right.â He nods. âButâŚwhat do I say?â
Derek grins. âCompliment her, ask if she wants another drink, strike up a conversation. Itâs easy, man.â
Spencer gets an uneasy feeling in him, but he still braves through it. âEasy for you, maybe.â He mumbles before running a hand through his hair and takes a step towards you.
âGo get her, tiger!â Morgan encourages.
When he returns to the team with the happy news, Penelope asks if Spencerâs gonna do good.
âOh, definitely not, weâll be lucky if he doesnât trip over his own feet on the way over there.â Derek answers, laughing.
But Spencer makes it to you without a stumble, yet his whole plan leaves his mind when he gets to you.
Youâre gorgeous, too pretty for him.
âNice legs.â
Did he just say that?
You look up at him upon hearing his voice, your wide eyes confused.
âIâm sorry?â You question, not sure if you heard this stranger correctly.
Heâs a rather handsome stranger.
âNo- I mean I like your legs- tights! Not your legs, you have nice legs of course but thatâs not- your tights are nice- cool! Different?â
Oh god, he should just walk away now. Heâs already messed this whole thing up and surely you think heâs an idiot.
While heâs got an embarrassed look on his face, you look down at the red lace tights you wear under your skirt, something your friends questioned as a fashion choice.
âYou really like them?â You ask, voice soft to his ears.
He stops his rambling.
âYeah, of course I do, I think theyâre cool.â He smiles softly.
You canât help but grin bashfully.
âEvery guy Iâve talked to tonight thought they were a little weird, but thatâs okay, I kinda like weird.â You admit, watching as he shakes his head.
âPeople say my socks are weird all the time, donât feel bad.â He comforts, pulling the material of his pants up so you can see his mismatched socks with funky colors and prints on them.
âThose are cool.â Your approval eases him, giving him just enough reassurance that you arenât going to scream for help in the next two minutes.
âIâm Dr. Spencer Reid- sorry, force of habit, uh, just Spencer. I-Iâm Spencer.â He introduces with the smallest of wave.
Still smiling more than you have the entire night, you greet him. He repeats your name like it has some special meaning, and youâve never loved the sound of it more.
âI was going to get a drink, what are you having?â He asks, looking at your sweating glass. âVodka soda? Cherry sour?â
You blush. âItâs actually a shirley templeâŚI just ate all the cherries out of it already.â
Without hesitation, he nods. âOkay, Iâll be back.â
He leaves you at your table, and then your brief moment of sunshine is clouded once more by doubt. What if he doesnât come back? What if he drugs your drink and then you wake up in an alley somewhere, missing your wallet and phone and your tights that he thinks are so cool?
This was a bad idea. Dating isnât for you. He seemed so nice and heâs so attractive but that should have been your first red flag and-
Oh. Heâs coming back.
With two shirley temples.
He places them on the table and waits for you to grab one, then he grabs the other and takes a sip.
âYou mind if I sit?â He asks.
Feeling a little silly for assuming he was out to maim you, you nod.
âI seriously doubt my friends remember Iâm over here, so feel free to stay.â You joke at your expense.
He sits across from you, sparing a glance over his shoulder at his team who make it very obvious that theyâre staring.
You study his profile, a shaggy haircut that falls across his forehead, all tousled in an effortless way. His jaw line is defined, round brown eyes that flick back to you. When he catches you looking, he grins once more.
Itâs never been soâŚeasy, having a âget to know youâ conversation. Questions come without second thoughts, you find yourself laughing, actually laughing.
Playing with your straw, you try to calm your facial expressions, your cheeks are starting to hurt from beaming so much.
âSo, Dr. Reid, huh?â You ask, making him let out a small huff of embarrassment.
âThatâs what the PhDâs say, yeah.â He scratches the back of his neck, suddenly feeling really dorky about his immense amount of education.
Itâs not dorky to you. Every guy youâve talked to tonight dropped out of community college because âit didnât align with their career pathsâ of selling protein smoothies or working in some âundergroundâ record store.
But here Spencer is, explaining heâs on the behavioral analysis unit for the FBI and he tells you about all the degrees he has. All you can think about as he talks of universities and the academy is, knowledge is such a sexy look on a guy. Sure, youâve never really liked the underachieving stoners, but usually youâve been with guys who seem to say âyou like school?â when you talk about working towards your Masters degree.
âWow.â Is all you can say for a moment, clearly shocked and, well, impressed. âI really wasnât expecting that.â
âThatâs what most people say.â He nods, picking the cherry in his drink out by the stem and offering it to you.
By your thankful eyes batting up at him, heâs tempted on going behind the bar and bringing you all the maraschino cherries they have. He quickly turns the conversation around to focus on you so he can focus on something other than the stained color on your lips.
âWhat about you? What do you do?â He asks.
Compared to his job, yours seems too normal, too mundane. You almost want to avoid the question, never once have you been unsatisfied with your career but now you canât help it. What if Spencer doesnât like you because you donât work for NASA?
Thatâs ridiculous, because to Spencer, your job makes his adoration grow.
âOh, Iâm just a teacher.â You say, fiddling with a stem in your mouth.
Spencer gains a soft smile. âYou could never just be a teacher, teacherâs are important. Well, unless youâre a sucky teacher.â
His joke earns a bubbly giggle and he decides heâd like to hear that sound forever. Itâs moments like this that heâs glad to have an eidetic memory.
âI donât think Iâm a sucky teacher so thatâs good, my students seem to like me.â You state, pushing your hair behind your ear and dropping the knotted stem onto a napkin.
Spencer finds himself leaning a little closer, body naturally gravitating to your pull. âWhat do you teach?â He asks.
âI work for my schools gifted children program, so I basically teach kid geniuses advanced core curriculum because theyâve tested out of their normal classes.â You chuckle, oblivious to the way Spencerâs heart warms.
He remains quiet for a bit too long, just staring at you with an honest look, one that makes you feel like youâre turned inside out and bared for him. The panic rises again, you think you must have said something to ruin it.
âI know itâs nothing special-â You begin to say.
âNo.â He interrupts, a sure tone. âI-I think itâs great. Really, thatâs not an easy job.â
Deep breath out, youâre put at ease.
âI constantly have imposter syndrome, these kids are twelve and bringing up philosophies and mathematical formulas I have to go home and study because I havenât even learned them yet. Honestly, sometimes I donât even think they need me there.â You joke lightly, half meaning it but masking that slight insecurity by finishing off your drink.
âThey need you.â Spencer assures, an expression showing heâs never been more sure of something. âBelieve me, youâre probably the only person they see in a school day that understands them.â
Brows creased, you shake your head, holding his rather intimidating gaze for such puppy dog eyes.
âWhat makes you so sure?â You question.
Spencer takes in a breath. âBecause I know what itâs like to be twelve years old and telling a grown adult about Fermatâs Last Theorem.â
Sometimes, the world has a funny way of putting two people together. For years, youâve wandered through life and on a random Friday night, feeling a little flushed from the Summer air, here is Spencer Reid, the man of your dreams.
Your friends left some time ago after you assured them you were fine to be left at the place you were just complaining about being. You donât mind being left with Spencer, in fact, youâre dreading the time you have to go home because it means this moment is over.
âI really would like to live in New York.â You exclaim, somehow have fallen into the rabbit hole of dreams for the future.
âNew Yorkâs really cool!â He agrees. âDid you know that they have a homicide rate of 4.48 percent right now? Itâs been declining since the nineties.â
You must make some sort of surprised face because his eyes go wide and he quickly tried to recover his odd statement.
âSorry, my job isnât really full of happy statistics. But mostly we just find dead prostitutes in alleys in New York.â
His blushed cheeks make your heart flutter in its beats.
âIâm glad Iâm not a prostitute.â You giggle, making him chew his bottom lip for a moment.
âYeah, Iâm glad youâre not either.â
By the time the team gets their coats back on with the intention of heading home, they look across the room to see their quirky doctor friend is partaking in very friendly body language.
âOh my god, look at him.â Emily laughs. âHeâs finally using that big IQ of his.â
Penelope, who comes to hold onto Morganâs arm, grins rather proudly. âItâs like a butterfly finally coming out of its cocoon. ItâsâŚbeautiful, actually.â
Derek laughs down at her. âI think that last long island ice tea was a bad idea. Come on, baby, letâs get you home.â
âGood luck, my fine friend.â She calls in the general direction of you and Spencer, but the two of you donât notice.
JJ ties her hair up and starts to take a few steps forward.
âWhere are you going?â Penelope questions.
âTo let him know weâre leaving?â
âNo!â The team seems to exclaim, all shouting that she cannot disturb the moment Spencer worked rather hard to get to.
She just holds her hands up in defense, then follows after Emily as they leave the bar.
Spencer of course notices the way Prentiss leaves him with an encouraging thumbs up. It makes his get a little bashful, but he nods a goodbye and watches the door shut once more. His attention is brought back to his hand on the table, well, more to the way your pinky brushes against his. You continue to talk about mutual interests and what your apartment in New York would look like, a slight ramble to you that shows youâre very aware of the slight contact.
With some kind of placebo courage he canât even blame on alcohol, he lets his fingers crawl between yours like thatâs where they belong.
The team would definitely laugh at this teenage display, but to the both of you, itâs the perfect amount of reassurance, soft enough to not be too scary.
The attraction is there, Spencer forces himself to profile it just so his negative thoughts canât prove him wrong. Youâre smiling at every word, your eyes seem to stay dilated and focused on his, and he isnât sure if you even realize the way your heel brushes his ankle every so often.
His profile, often never wrong, is what helps him reach across the slight space to tuck your hair behind your ear so casually as he tells you about his minuscule music taste.
After a few flirty comments, you force yourself yo look away from him just so you can het your breathing under control. Upon this action, you read the watch on his wrist and a frown sets on your lipstick stained lips.
âI should go home before itâs too late to walk.â You sigh, not wanting this moment to end.
He nods. âYeah, youâre probably right.â
Those round eyes heâs starting to really adore look up at him and you chew your lip, almost like youâre waiting for him to do something. Say something.
It takes him entirely too long to figure out what to do. Morgan would be ashamed.
âC-Can I walk you home?â He asks in a rush and in eagerness.
You nod like thatâs the best idea youâve ever heard.
Thatâs how it leads to you leaning against him like itâs something you do often, walking in step as you ramble on and on about what you have to do to get your classroom ready for the new school year. He listens without annoyance like most guys would, then tells you about books he has that he thinks you might enjoy, books he could part with so you could give them to the students whose reading levels are above what the school provides.
Heâs so caring and considerate, making sure he walks closest to the street, lets you be off in your own world and makes sure you donât run into anything as you constantly gaze up at him. All the way to your building and up the stairs to your apartment door, the two of you are as comfortable with each other like two old friends would be.
Thatâs what makes your head spin. You just met Spencer and already feel like heâs been in your life for hundreds of years.
You pull your keys from your purse, you unlock the door but donât make a move to open it.
âIâm really, really, happy that I met you.â You whisper to him as he slightly crowds your space in the door way.
âI am too.â He agrees, heart beating a little faster as your hand presses gently to his chest.
Donât be crazy, you just met her, she doesnât want a stranger trying to kiss her, tell her good night, call her tomorrow, maybe you can plan for something next weekend-
His thoughts donât stand a chance when you wrap your fingers around his tie and gently tug him to your lips.
Itâs smooth and warm and has your eyes shutting and your lungs exhaling. His gentle hand cradles your face while the other flexes against your hip.
It just feels soâŚ
So right.
With the slight tilt of your head, the goodnight kiss deepens, youâre molded against him.
His lips part, coaxing yours to do the same, and the feeling of your tongue against his has you slightly teetering backwards. You lean against the door for support, hands roaming into his hair.
Youâve been wanting to run your hands through it all night.
Heâs desperate in his movements, like heâs a starved man and youâre enjoying every second of it. His thumb runs over your jaw, youâre pushing away any space between you.
When you decide youâre going to pass out from the lack of oxygen, you pull away, sucking your bottom lip to savor the taste. Spencer still holds your face in his large hands and matches your shallow pants.
Itâs all so much. Youâre hot, brain a little foggy, but still so sure of this situation.
And you soon find yourself saying something youâve never ever said after just meeting a guy.
âDo you want to come inside?â
Spencer seriously thinks he misheard you.
âYeah- yes. Yes, I do.â He nods.
A laugh escapes your lips, one he swallows up as he embraces you once more, trying to help you open the door. His arm around your waist makes sure you donât stumble and fall as the two of you finally get inside.
He looks around the space. âI like your apartment, itâs nice.â
âThank you.â You mumble against his lips, pulling at your jean jacket and tossing it to the couch.
Itâs dark, causing you to back into a side table. The both of you laugh, but neither of you bother to reach for the light switch.
You guid him towards your bedroom, pushing him through the ajar door. The open window leaves the room painted in a low light, the breeze is cool as you clumsily fall onto the mattress with him.
âI never do this.â You state, a huff leaving your lips as he rolls you onto your back.
âI donât either.â He agrees, mouth wandering down your jaw to your neck.
You fiddling hands make a home in his hair. âLike I really donât do this. I donât even go to bars, let alone take home strange men- not that youâre strange. But donât think I am a casual hookup girl, because Iâm not, I just- thereâs a connection, right? Iâm not alone in this?â
He pulls away, looking down at you with a loopy grin. âYouâre rambling, thatâs a sign of nervousness.â
âI am nervous!â You exclaim with a breathy laugh. âYouâre justâŚyouâre really great.â
His thumb traces your bottom lip. âYouâre really great too.â He whispers. âBut we donât have to do anything.â
âNo!â You say a little too boldly. âI mean, no, no I want this. Do you want this?â
With a nod, he assures you. âI want this too.â
Maybe you should be more shy and self conscious about this, but when heâs being so kind, all your nervousness leaves. The two of you stumble through the awkward bits with laughter and jokes, and it makes you realize that something so serious doesnât have to be so uniform.
Really, youâre having more fun than youâve ever had.
âSpencer?â You gasp, dangerously close to falling off the bed at how the two of you have rolled around.
âYeah?â He asks, head buried in your neck, trying not to get too ahead of himself as he continues his deep pace between your legs.
âYouâre kinda pulling my hair.â
Immediately he moves his hand, apologetic.
Hands dragging up his chest, you try to shimmy away from the mattress ledge. Spencer notices the tragedy thatâs about to strike, opting to back off of you completely so you can readjust.
You gasp at the loss of contact. âA little warning next time would be appreciated.â
âSorry, sorry.â He stammers, gripping you in a feverish way, mouth back to yours.
You donât exactly know how you ended up on top, but you look at him slightly frightened eyes.
âIs this a no?â He questions, only concerned with making you comfortable.
Heâs the complete opposite of selfish, he proved that the second he started you off with his tongue against your core.
âNo, not if you like this? I justâŚI donât know if Iâm good at this.â
He nods in understanding. âOkay, no problem.â
You protest as he goes to move you. âCan I try? Will-will you help me?â
God, he could marry you.
âYeah, of course sweetheart.â He whispers, kissing you gently.
The butterflies in your stomach are all twitter pated.
Or maybe youâre just extremely turned on.
Spencer is a great teacher, itâs you who jumps the gun at things.
âThere you go, angel, slow.â He breathes in your ear, finger tips pressing into your hips as you slowly push down, letting his tip enter you. âJust go really slow, okay?â
You try to do as he says, easing him into you slowly, but by some urge to rush satisfaction, you sink all the way onto him without warning.
âFuck! That wasnât slow.â He grits, a hoarse moan escaping from the back of his throat, his grip on you almost bruising.
âS-sorry.â You try to say, but the sheer pressure you feel at this sudden angle has you shuddering and crying out softly. âIâm an overachiever.â You try to joke.
âHoly shit, you want an A+ or something?â He chuckles, trying to calm himself down, running through mathematical formulas in his head so he doesnât finish just like this.
âSpence, I need- itâs a lot, I need-â You whine out, not having the heart to feel embarrassed for sounding so needy.
âI know, I know. Fuck, do you have any idea how good you feel?â He questions, swallowing hard as he guides your hips forward slightly.
âI canât really think at all when youâre sitting in my cervix right now.â You claim, quickly overwhelmed by pleasure as you find a rhythm against him.
Sucking on your throat, he mutters something you donât care to listen to.
âThis is- is it supposed to be this good?â You moan, trying not to dig your finger nails into his shoulders.
âI think we just fit perfectly.â
With each movement, you become more comfortable and confident, soon that friendly softness is replaced by lustful roughness. Through it all, Spencer remains caring, even when you tell him he can be a little rough with you.
Never in your sex life have you wanted more and more, even when it finishes.
Even after the two of you canât find the strength to pull any more orgasms from each other, you lay beside each other, Spencer hasnât bothered to pull out of you yet, perhaps heâs too spent.
âSo.â You clear your throat, tracing his features. âHow do you want to play this?â
He hums, dragging his fingers up and down your side. âWhat do you mean?â
âGuys usually leave after this stuff, right?â
His brows furrow, anxiety comes to ripple through him. âDo you want me to leave?â
Staring at his tired eyes, you shake your head. âNo, I want you to stay. Forever. Iâm thinking about chaining you to the headboard.â
He chuckles. âIâll save you the effort, I will gladly stay.â
A sweet smile is returned to him.
At some point, the two of you clean up and fall asleep the second the sheets are pulled over you.
Spencer is convinced itâs all a dream until he wakes up to the sun warm over his skin. He rubs his blurry eyes and rolls over in the bed that is not his, met with your bare back. Slowly, he reaches for you, kissing your shoulder to rouse you.
His phone, still in the pocket of his discarded pants, rings again and again, forcing him to retrieve it in his boxers.
Of course itâs Hotch.
Of course he needs to get to the office. On a Saturday. After the night he just had.
âI should call the authorities, thereâs a cute intruder in my room.â Your sleepy voice says from bed. âOh waitâŚyou are the authorities.â
He likes the way you can make yourself giggle.
âI have bad news.â He says, tracking down his clothes. âMy boss just called me in.â
He hates the frown you have.
âThatâs a very unfortunate thing.â You nod.
He buttons his pants, then slides his shirt on as he comes to your bedside.
âI should get going so I can go home and change.â
His warm hand presses to your cheek.
You turn to kiss his palm. âIs this goodbye?â
âNo. Definitely no.â He assures. âIâll call when I can, okay? Maybe we can get dinner or something?â
You could sigh heavenly at the way heâs just so dreamy.
âThat sounds nice. Iâd kiss you but I might have morning breath.â You smile.
He kisses you anyway.
And after leaving the team waiting in the round table room, he appears refreshed and in a very good mood.
He takes his seat, all eyes on him.
âSorry Iâm late, good morning.â He clears his throat.
âGood morning indeed.â Morgan chuckles, sliding him a cup of coffee.
âYou okay, Reid?â Rossi asks, eyeing the agent.
âIâm great.â He smiles.
âIs that a hickey?â JJ exclaims, reveling in the way he quickly grabs for his neck, only to realize sheâs joking.
âReal mature.â He mutters, knowing the entire day is going to be jokes made at his expense.
He doesnât mind though, not when he knows his reward for all of this is you.

whoops my hand slipped and I banged out 1800 words of fix-it fic in like an hour. btw i think the Abby connection is dumb but I'm making it work.
Three years after reconciling with Buck, newly engaged to him, Tommy gets a phone call from a certain former dispatcher...who's just seen some interesting news via a Facebook Relationship Status post.
*****
(also on AO3)
To say that the phone call blindsided him would have been the understatement of the century.
He was just sitting at home watching the game, having a beer, minding his own business. Evan was on shift â must be a busy one, heâd only gotten two text messages all evening, one bitching about not having had time to eat dinner and the other about idiots who texted while driving.
His phone rang. Unknown number. Normally he wouldnât have picked up, but with all the wedding preparations, a lot of vendors were calling. It was a little late to be making business calls, just after 8 pm, but heâd quickly learned that business norms meant little in the wedding planning business. âHello?â
âTommy?â
âYes?â A womanâs voice. Familiar, but he couldnât place it.
Pause âYouâre marrying Buck??â A slightly hysterical note of disbelief entered the womanâs voice as she said the name.
And all at once, he knew who it was. Shit fuck motherfucker why didnât we get ahead of this one.
âAbby. UmâŚâ
âEvan Buckley? My ex-fiancĂŠ and my ex-boyfriend are marrying each other?â
âSmall world, huh?â he said, going for levity.
âBuckâs not even gay!â
âNo, heâs not. Heâs bisexual.â
âIâmâŚokay. Iâm sorry, itâs justâŚthis is a lot of information to get all at once.â
âHow did you even find out? Donât you live in Phoenix?â
âBuck posted one of those relationship status things on Facebook.â
âOh. I barely use Facebook.â
âMe either, but Buck does, and I hadnât been on there in awhile, but I logged on and that was like the third post I saw!â
Tommy remembered the day Buck had made the post. They hadnât really put their relationship on social media much - Buck posted photos of them on Instagram sometimes - and he hadnât done one of those stupid relationship status things for them until they got engaged. Theyâd trawled their phones for the right pic, eventually settling on one taken at a 118 barbecue of them together, smiling, arms slung around waists. He hadnât said so, but heâd gotten a little emotional over what Evan wrote on the post:
Evan Buckley is engaged to Tommy Kinard.
âItâs been a long road, but we made it. Canât wait to spend the rest of my life with this man. Heâs the best person Iâve ever known. I love you!â
âWellâŚIâm sorry that was an unpleasant surprise for you,â Tommy said, carefully.
She sighed. âI donât know that it wasâŚunpleasant. But a surprise, for sure. How do you even know Buck? How did you meet?â
âWeâre both firefighters, itâs not that surprising that we could have met, is it?â
âNo, I guess not.â
âAnd he was at my old firehouse. The one you refused to ever come to. But I guess you went when you were with him, didnât you?â
âYou never wanted me to meet your friends. I guess I found out why when you broke off our engagement.â
âIâm sorry, Abby. I know I said it then, but Iâll say it again now. I lied to myself, I lied to a lot of people. It took me almost trapping you in my lie, when you did not deserve that, to break me out of it.â
âI forgave you ages ago. We donât have to go over all that again.â
âI met EvanâŚI guess itâs four years ago? We started dating not long after. I, umâŚwas the first man he dated. I guess I made him realize some things about himself.â
âJust transforming lives everywhere you go, huh?â she said, a teasing note entering her voice. Tommy was happy to hear it.
âYeah, well, I almost screwed it up. I broke up with him six months later. He was diving in headfirst, too fast, just all in and wanting to move in with me.â
âThat sounds just like Buck.â
âI panicked and ended it before I could get in any deeper with him.â
âIt was too late, wasnât it?â
âYeah. I was already in love with him.â
âHeâs easy to love. Too easy,â she said, quietly. âBut you got back together, obviously.â
âTook a little while. Almost a year. I dated a few guys, he dated a few people, but nothing stuck for either of us - I know now itâs because we were still hung up on each other. We have a friend in common and weâd hear about each other through himâŚbut I didnât really see him until we ended up on a major incident call together. I sustained a minor injury - just a scrape, really - and Hen from his house patched me up. I was sitting there on the ambulance deck, more or less left to myself, and he came waltzing up with that eyebrow raised like he knew all my secrets.â Abby chuckled, like she knew the exact expression he was describing. âHe just said, are you done being fucking stupid yet?â
âAnd you were.â
âYep. I was. He took me home that night and weâve barely been apart since. Got engaged a year later.â
âYou sound happy.â
âI am. Iâm ecstatic. I canât believe I got a second chance with him. I kicked myself for ending it like that, I donât know what came over me.â
âI do. You thought you werenât enough for him to want to keep you.â
He nodded. âYeah.â
âThatâs dumb.â
âThatâs what he says.â
They sat there not speaking for what felt like a long time.
âWellâŚâ Abby said. âI feel like I just unloaded on you out of the blue.â
âYou kinda did,â he said, smiling.
âMaybe I shouldnât have called.â
âIâm glad you did. You knowâŚEvan and I didnât realize we had you in common until our six month anniversary dinner. In fact, it was that revelation that sort of started us on the way to breaking up for awhile. But thatâs been so long now and it hasnât come up in a few years. I almost forgot about it.â
âGee, thanks,â she said, her grin audible. âIâm glad youâre both happy. I have a lot of regret over Buck, how I left things with him. I assume heâs told you.â
âHe has. If it helps, he doesnât have any bad feelings towards you.â
âIt does help. Thank you for that.â She sighed. âIâll let you go. I just saw that Facebook post and spiralled a little bit.â
âUnderstandable.â
âPlease tell Buck I say hello. And I wish you both so much happiness, Tommy.â
âThank you. And I will.â
She hung up. Tommy stared at the phone for a moment, then opened his text message thread with Evan.
Youâre not gonna believe what just happened.
*****
When Evan got home at 7 am, they had their usual two hours to share breakfast and maybe a quick fuck before Tommy had to be on shift himself. They tried to sync their schedules so their off days coincided, but it didnât always work.
âHoly shit, why didnât we get ahead of that one?â Evan said as he burst in the door, not even bothering with âhello.â His shoes and duffel went flying and he bustled into the kitchen where Tommy was mixing the pancake batter.
âYeah, I had the same thought,â he said, leaning over to kiss him hello.
Evan went to the coffee pot. âI didnât even think about it, that she might see.â
âNeither did I.â
âHowâd she sound?â
âReally surprised at first. Incredulous, even? Like in the what-are-the-odds way.â
âKinda like when I found out weâd both dated her.â
âYeah, but youâre my himbo now,â Tommy said, smirking. âNo, she was just shocked. I gave her the quick rundown, and she ended up congratulating us.â
âDid you tell her itâs her fault we broke up for a year?â Evan said, popping a strawberry into his mouth.
âI think the proper person to bear the fault is me.â
âAnd also me. Who asks someone to move in after six months? Before even saying âI love you?â And when you had a house!â
âI say we blame Josh. He got you all juiced up with that damn Glee speech.â After theyâd reconciled, Evan had given him chapter and verse on his mind-boggling thought processes on that last fateful day.
âHe got me feeling guilty, is what he did. That I judged you for lying to Abby. Overcorrecting is one of my special gifts.â
âYes, it is.â
âWell, while Iâm overcorrectingwhy donât we invite her?â
Tommy looked up. âTo our wedding?â
âSure, why not? She can flip a coin whose side she sits on,â Evan said, grinning like the mischievous imp that he was.
âEvan, darling, love of my life, we are not inviting our ex to our wedding.â
He scrunched up his face. âEw. âOurâ ex? Makes it sound like we were in a throuple.â
âEw, indeed.â
He cocked his head. âI dunno, though. The thoughtâs kinda sexy.â
âNot to me! No vaginas anywhere near my bedroom. Kinsey 6, remember?â
âOf course, my apologies.â
Tommy looked at his innocent wide-eyed face for a few beats. âYouâre still thinking about it, arenât you?â
âCan I help it if the thought of two people I have found intensely attractive doing sexy things is appealing?â
âCan I help it if the thought of Chris Hemsworth going down on you has gotten me through some lonely nights?â
âOkay, I get the point. Shutting up now.âÂ
Tommy put a plate of pancakes in front of him. âYour shift okay?â
âFine. Busy. Iâm a bit wired. Do we have time for me to bounce on your dick for a bit before you have to head out?â
âFor that, Iâll make time.â He sat down at the table at Evanâs side with his own pancakes. Evan slid a hand over and squeezed his thigh.
âMissed you, though,â he said, chewing.
âI always miss you when youâre on shift,â Tommy said.
Evan looked up at that, meeting his eyes. âTommy, sometimes I miss you when you get up to get a beer.â
The simplicity, the sincerity of it made his chest tighten a little. He leaned forward, put his fingers under Evanâs chin and pulled him into a soft kiss, just like the first time. âI love you,â he whispered.Â
âI love you, too.â
âAnd we are not inviting my ex-fiancee who is also your ex-girlfriend to our wedding.â
Evan grinned. âDeal.â

AAAAJAJA I LOVE UOURR BLOGGG AND HOW YOU ENVISION EACH CHARACTERS XDD may I pretty please make a request for angst/fluff hcs on female human reader, whoâs very insecure, paired with the upper moon trio and Muzan?Whether itâs about her looks, or that she feels like they donât genuinely love her (esp since they are demons and sheâs a human, so whatâs stopping them from leaving/killing her and dating other demons instead(Ẹ̣̣̣̈︿ËĚŁĚŁĚŁĚŁ )
Insecurity
What stops your demon s/o to get bored of you one day and eat you? What if theyâre only pretending to love you? And what will your partner do to fight those insecurities?
Pairing: Kokushibo, Douma, Akaza, Muzan x gn!reader
Kokushibo
He is taking your insecurities very seriously. Kokushibo knows and felt it himself plenty, during both his demon and human years. Despite that, his âcomfortâ and âreassuranceâ methods are quite unique. Your husband will not react immediately to your feelings, rather being more quiet and reserved than usual, wich at first makes you doubt yourself even more. Perhaps he is finally realising that he is much better off with another human or even demon⌠Although you started to notice how Kokushibo was hovering around you more and more. Silently, but he was still there, watching you while you go on with your day. You could be doing some mundane task like cooking yourself a meal and he would be standing behind you, not noticing how intimidating he is being right now.
In his mind, Kokushibo was showing more interest in you. He believed that you felt insecure about him not being around you enough or paying attention to you, instead being out on missions or training. So, now heâs watching you everyday all day, trying to show you through his ways that he cares about you and cherishes you very much. Once he finally notices how he is achieving nothing but making you confused or intimidating, Kokushibo begins to show affection more openly, although it felt forced at first.
His calloused hand would slowly slip into yours, intertwining fingers while he was meditating, or him holding you close to his body while you napped or slept on his chest, spending the precious and scarce nighttime with showering you in affection while you were resting, not even aware about how he was trying to show his love in his own way.
âIâll stay for the night, I asked that man to give the other Upper Moons any of my remaining missions. Iâd rather spend my time with you.â
Kokushibo is silently worrying about not being good enough for you. Although he is Upper Moon One, wouldnât a human want to marry another human and start a family? What stops you from leaving him? He will not stop or hurt you when you choose to do so, he would completely understand.
Douma
You immediately saw Doumaâs face shift into the expression he gives to all his followers once they start speaking about their woes, while you were trying to explain to him how you were feeling. You silenced yourself the second the pity-tinged smile appeared on your face, knowing that he is not listening or acknowledging your feelings in any way. He told you times before how he feels exhausted when listening to his followers whine and cry about their problems while Douma barely cares, giving them the usual advice. Talking about your insecurities will definitely not work with Douma, so youâll have to resort to other things to make him listen. Ignoring him is a not very nice way to do it, but at least heâll start to wonder why you are not around.
He notices immediately when you stop being near him. Youâre not sitting by his side during sermons, youâre not in your shared bedroom and the followers commented about how you were seemingly avoiding the Founder. Thatâs when it finally clicks, you were talking about not feeling enough for him and being insecure about yourself earlier, right? Once Douma chased you down (and persuaded you to leave the garden and step into the shade with him so you two can have a conversation without him needing to yell all over the estate), he theatrically kissed the palm of your hand and kept apologising over and over, almost nervously trying to explain how much he loves you and how irreplaceable you truly are to him and his heart.
You are the first human, first being he felt emotions for. Happiness, sadness, anger, jealousy and most importantly loveâ all the beautiful and unpleasant feelings, Douma began feeling them because of you!
To prove his point in a way, he introduced you to all the unimpressed Upper Moons and his master as âthe love of his lifeâ, his wife, his life partner, soulmate and so on and on, mentioning many other petnames until Muzan finally silenced him. Douma invites you to sit right beside him during sermons, instead of having your own cushion, keeping you closer and having the opportunity to openly shower you in affection. He sometimes sends out followers to pick up flowers for you in the garden and then presents then to you as if he picked them out himself, acting like the sun wasnât out for the last hours, making it not possible for him to get those flowers for you. You appreciate it nonetheless.
âI have an idea! How about we hold an official wedding ceremony with all my followers! We cab invite my other friends too! Ohh, Akaza can be my best man, imagine how that could be, haha!â
Even if Douma is rather comical and theatrical, deep down inside, he is rather afraid of you getting sick of him one day. He knows he can keep his followers charmed and close, but his speeches and charms do not work on you. You see right through him and know the true person, or demon, he is. He is insecure himself because why would you stay with a man-eating demon? Once you mentioned your own thoughts and feelings, he took it as an opportunity to prove that he does cherishes and loves you so, so incredibly much.
Akaza
You⌠You seriously think that you are not good enough? Not pretty or strong enough? Seriously?
You are the best thing that ever happened and will happen to him. You are patient with him snd so kind, so gentle and affectionate. You heal his soul and now you are talking about being replaceable? He feels incredibly horrible for making you feel so terrible about yourself.
Akaza tries to be more obvious about his feelings for you, trying to reassure you how beautiful you look or saying âI love youâ more often, taking your smaller hand into his, nuzzling his cheek in your warm palm. He gets much more touchy, trying to get you to cuddle more and more so he can relish in your warmth and bask in your arms. His time with you is scarce, especially with how Muzan keeps drowning him in more and more exhausting missions that keep him away from you (and sometimes it feels like his master is doing it on purpose), thatâs why his eyes do not leave your form for even one second, sometimes quietly mumbling âI love youâ against your warm skin, his lips placing kisses between his muffled words.
âThereâs no one else I want by my side, bunny. You make me feel warm, fuzzy⌠safe, yâknow. Itâs weird but nice. You should feel like that too.. you deserve it.â
Akaza sometimes notices how disgustingly desperate he sounds to comfort and reassure you. It made him cringe once he realised how hard he fell for you, how much he clung onto you and how desperately he craved your love, your touch. Once you start talking about your insecurities about your beauty, self-worth and so on, he realises how much he appreciates you more and more. Youâre the most beautiful human he ever came across, youâre heaven-sent. Is it selfish of him to think of you as a blessing from the gods themselves?
Muzan Kibutsuji
He was very perplexed when he first listened to you talking about being insecure, not quite understanding how you out of all people feel replaceable and not enough for the demon king. How could you think such things? Do you not understand how vulnerable he is with you without an audience? At first, heâd dismiss your worries for you just being confused or not feeling well, but a little after a day after your initial conversation, the gears inside his five brains begin to shift and work again. At that moment, he finally realised what you really meant.
Muzan didnât want to be more affectionate with you, mistaking love with weakness, but after finally realising how you needed the reassurance from him, he begrudgingly gave into his fears of appearing soft and began to show his love more openly.
The demon king began to shower you in various gifts that mark you as his partner, such as a necklace with a ruby matching his eye colour, multiple rings he owns himself so you two can match and an artificial flower crown for you to wear as his soulmate and in a cute way to show off your âroyal statusâ as the partner of Muzan.
âYou are the one and only for me, and I am the only one for you. If the gods exist, they have blessed me with merely meeting you in your lifetime⌠it would be a pity to let it expire so soon. I will happily give you my blood if youâd like, my sun.â
đ
I am back with the Upper Moons, I hope you donât mind if I changed the female reader to gn, anon! I felt like I wrote a lot of fem reader lately so I wanted to switch it up again. I wonder if itâs obvious wich demon is my favourite XD Anywaysâ Iâm heading to bed now, I an exhausted :,)
Make sure to EAT, SLEEP and DRINK enough!!
Take care of yourselves <33

Blind in Love
Dedicated to @mangostarjam, you convinced me to finish the WIP since you asked about it lmao so thanks!
It had been awhile since youâd had good sex and even longer since youâd had a good date.Â
Which was why, when your friend yammered to you -on a daily basis- about the new friend sheâd made and how he was your perfect match, you allowed her to set up a blind date between the two of you even though you were still recovering from the first serious relationship youâd ever had ending. But youâd spent more than enough time mourning the past and you were ready to get back out there. If your date ended up being a serial killer, so be it; at least youâd die knowing you tried to have some semblance of a love life again.
At first, you almost didnât get the date with him at all.
Your friend would tell you how kind the man was, how attentive the man was, how loyal the man was, and you were already sold from her first description. But she kept selling him to you anyway. The days would go by and sheâd tell you he liked the same music you did. Sheâd tell you he was raised in the same area that you grew up in. Sheâd tell you that he liked the same foods you did. Sheâd tell you that he was a night owl like you. Sheâd tell you he liked the same TV shows. Sheâd tell you he had the same hobbies. Sheâd tell you heâd vacationed to the same places you had. Sheâd tell you so many details about him that it felt like you were going on a date with yourself. So you knew you had to meet this guy, you just had to.Â
And then one day, she told you it was most likely not going to happen.Â
How? How could the most perfect sounding man in the entire world not even want to meet you? Had she told him what sheâd told you? Did he know you were practically soulmates? How were you supposed to hear about him everyday, to know all these things about him like he was suddenly your closest friend, only to never meet him, only to be rejected by him before he ever crossed paths with you?
This couldnât be how things ended.Â
But your friend was persistent. Thank god she was persistent. As much as she had promoted him to you, she doubly promoted you to him, and soon enough, she was giving you the good news that he had eventually agreed to go out on a date with you. He had even gone so far as to pick the time and the venue, so she had high expectations for the night.Â
You had high expectations for the night.
You tried not to. You didnât imagine there was anyone for you who could ever be as good as your first love, but if there wasnât, it wouldnât be for a lack of you trying to find them. You owed it to yourself, to your friend, to him, to give this date a good try. So even though you tried not to get all worked up over one simple date, you got excited anyway. You dressed up to the nines.Â
When you showed up to the address that youâd been instructed to meet him at, you were shocked to discover youâd been here before, years ago. It was a cherry blossom garden. A cherry blossom garden that was usually extremely busy and yet somehow it was now completely deserted. And⌠lit up? You didnât remember there being so many lanterns everywhere the last time youâd come here.Â
Following the trails of lanterns, you found a man in a suit waiting for you at the end. He was down on one knee. Holding a ring box.
âI love you. I love you so, so much. Please, please marry me.â
â----------------------------------------------------------------------------
âNo.â
âBut why?â
âIâve told you before and Iâll tell you again, Iâm not going on a blind date. Iâm not going on any date. Never again.â Hoshina waved his persistent friend away, thinking his resolve might end any further arguments. It only strengthened her resolve.Â
She followed him down the long expanse of hallway, and boy, did he realize just how long it was as she prattled on and on. âBut did I tell you she also grew up in the same neighborhood as you?â
He groaned. âYes. Yes, you did. Doesnât change a thing.â
âBut did I tell you she hikes? You could go hiking together.â
âI donât want to go hiking with anyone.â
âBut did I tell you she cooks, and get this, she cooks your favorite foods. Itâs honestly crazy how your favorite foods are like somehow what she specializes in. Thatâs gotta be some sign, right?â
He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. âReally, I appreciate you trying, but nothing you say is going to make me change my mind about this.â
âOkay, okay, one more thing. You remember that, like, weird vintage medallion thing you have on your nightstand?â
He froze in his tracks. â...What about it?â
âYou remember how you told me that they only ever made two of those medallions and you won it at some event? Get this- she has the other half of the set. She also won it at the same event. If thatâs not fate, I donât know what is.âÂ
He quickly turned around and started making his way back to his room.Â
She watched him curiously, keeping pace with him as his pace increased. He was almost like a man on a mission the way he sped down the hall. She was sure heâd burn tracks into the floor with the way he was walking.Â
âCan she see me tomorrow night?â He asked finally.
Her brows furrowed in confusion, wondering what on earth couldâve made him change his mind, and so quickly at that. But after all this begging and pleading with him to reconsider the date, she wouldnât dare question his sudden change in heart.Â
âYeah, of course she can. Sheâs been waiting for you to say yes forever. Iâll text her. Do you guys wanna meet up at that restaur-â
âIâll pick the place. I know the perfect spot.â
She blinked a couple times. What was going on with Hoshina today? Not only was he actually agreeing to go on this blind date when heâd been vehemently rejecting it these past few weeks, but now he was taking the initiative to plan the date himself? Something had to be going on. But she was too afraid to ask what, too afraid it would weaken his nerve. So she simply nodded and said, âAlright, good luck. Iâll let her know when youâre ready.â Then she vanished down the hallway, too stunned to speak any further.Â
When he reached his room, Hoshina tossed out half his closet trying to figure out what to wear. What was one supposed to wear to propose to the love of his life that he hadnât seen in years? What was one supposed to say?
He quickly called up the managers of the cherry blossom garden that heâd taken you to on your first date together and he bought out the entire place for tomorrow night. He didnât want anyone walking in and ruining the only chance he might have with you.Â
He took out the ring box heâd been holding onto these last several years and set it out on his nightstand, right beside the medallion that heâd won with you. Then he fell asleep dreaming about your smile.Â
â----------------------------------------------------------------------------
âI love you. I love you so, so much. Please, please marry me.â
Suddenly everything made sense.
Of course he liked the same shows you did. You always made him watch it with you. Of course he was a night owl, you stayed up late together watching those shows. Of course he liked the same hobbies, the same food, the same music, you lived together, it was hard not to pick up the same routines, to pick up the same interests. And all those places your friend had told you heâd visited that youâd also visited? Youâd gone on vacation together.Â
Youâd done everything together.Â
Until you didnât. Until you broke up.Â
But now here he was before you, and without even wasting a second to say hi itâs me again, he was already down on one knee proposing with a ring you told him you liked once in passing.Â
At first you wondered why he was here, after so many weeks of declining to proceed with this date. Had he known it was you all along? Was that why heâd said no? But then why was he here? And with a ring no less? What was going on? What made him change his mind?
But suddenly you didnât care. You didnât care at all. You didnât care about the how or the why or the what. You just cared about him. You just cared that the man that you loved, that the only man that youâd ever loved, that the only man you ever wanted to love, was kneeling before you, saying he loved you, saying he still loved you, saying heâd always loved you and always would love you. And he wanted to marry you.
âYes.â

Lover, youâre on your own
Pairings: Austin Butler x Female!Reader
Summary: After years of your divorce, Austin and you get in each otherâs way again. Catch up, know what happened in last few years.
Authorâs note: I donât even know what this plot is but I kinda liked the idea of Austin and Reader finding themselves again. I kinda liked it, idk.
Warning: mentions of divorce, unhealthy relationships, children loss, spousal death, the readerâs been through a shit ton of divorces.
You were inside a cafĂŠ in New York City, enjoying being in your own for a while. After another hectic divorce, the choice of going to a bar wasnât even on your mind anymore.
You started to wonder if you were cursed, you didnât even care to count how many divorces youâve had in the last thirteen years. Were you really never good enough to be a long time wife? Or did faith have something else for you in store? Whatever it was, life treated you like trash.
You drank your coffee quietly as she scrolled through your phone, you heard the door of the cafĂŠ open and close. You were very perceptive of who came in, who left, who coughed, who laughed. And once you saw who came in, you had to do a double take.
You knew that guyâ man. He wasnât a young guy anymore but a man. Austin. All those years ago and you still remembered him. Of course you had seen his rapid success these last years, he was everywhere. But you were in his past and you understood it. You didnât expect anything but you wouldnât lie if you said you didnât want him to at least recognize you, wave at you or at least smile and nod his head.
You focused on your overpriced coffee and muffin, stealing gentle glances towards him. Until one time, you both made eye contact, he was going to turn back to his phone but immediately turned back again to see you. Oh, he recognized you!
âHey.â His deep voice spoke as he reached your small table. You looked up.
âAustin. Wow. Hi!â You said, as if you had just seen him. âOh my goodness, itâs been so long.â You stood up, greeting him with a hug.
âLook at you. Youâre all grown up now.â He smiled at you. Whistling a little.
âI could say the same about you.â You said, sitting down again. Thank God he recognized you.
âWow. I just canât believe it. Itâs been what⌠ten years?â
âThirteen.â You corrected him. His eyes widened.
âThirteen years? Damn, that long? He chuckled. âWhat are you doing in New York anyways. You used to tell me how much you hated the city.â
âA girl can change. And I find that bars here serve much better drinks.â You chuckled with him, then there was a calm silence before he spoke up.
âI heard you got married. Whoâs the lucky guy?â
You sighed, showing him your empty right hand. Oh, so divorced already?
âHow long?â He asked.
âTwo years married. It was just a disagreement between us. We werenât looking for the same shit in the long run anyways.â You sighed. It was better to say that than to reveal that your last husband left you for a barely legal girl.
âTwo years. Damn.â Austin pressed his lips together, he looked away as he brought the cup to his lips.
âI heard youâre dating a model. Cindy Crawfordâs daughter. Thatâs nice, it give you some⌠it factor.â You said, you were being half sarcastic and half truthful.
âAh. Yes, Kaia.â He said, he really didnât sound enthusiastic. âEverything is going just fucking peachy.â He said, a smirk on his lips.
You nod. The whole tired voice went over your head. He was dating a model, what else could a man wish for? If not a model with long limbs.
âListen. Iâm filming a movie right not butâ I surely can make time to see you again. You said you drink, right?â
Your eyes immediately lit up, of course you could make time for him. Well, you wanted to catch up. Thatâs all.
âSure. Yeah, what day?â
It was a cold night. But inside the bar it was cozy. You both had ordered, he ordered an Old-Fashioned and you ordered a Cosmopolitan.
You started drinking the night away, you werenât outright tipsy, but the alcohol was getting to your head.
âI really, really wanted to ask. Whatâs the true reason behind your divorce?â He asked as he held his glass on his big hands.
You sighed. You were already here. You had known him forever. Yes, you two might have not seen each other in more than a decade, but beforehand you were husband and wife. You shouldnât be honest at least.
âHe cheated on me. With the neighbor.â You confessed, he gasped softly, his hand going to his mouth. âYeah. She was nineteen, now heâs dating her.â
âWhat a motherfuckerâŚâ Austin said, rubbing his chin.
âIâm starting to believe I curse every guy that gives me a ring. Seriously, five failed marriages. I must be cursed.â You sighed, his eyes widened even more.
âFive you say?â His voice was incredulous. Five. Five marriages. He was your first, of course. âWhat about the other three? If you donât mind me askingâŚâ
âMy second husband, Tyler, we werenât a match made in heaven. I guess he scared me a lot. He would drink his paycheck away. We divorced because his incompetent ass went to rehab.â You sighed as you played with the napkins.
âThen there was Eric, he was boring. He spent more time on his office than he did with me. He wasnât so bad, he was just distant, very. He loved his job more than he ever loved me. He didnât even talk to me, he just left the divorce papers in the kitchen. He had left a day prior.â
âThen there was⌠Nate.â You sighed, looking down again at the napkin youâve been ripping apart. âHe wasnât perfect. Indeed he could be very moody and he yelled all the time. But I cared for him. I didnât expect him to be taken from me. No wife does. By I learned to accept it. Now I remember him from time to time. I take flowers to his grave whenever I can.â
Austinâs eyes softened as he reached out his hand and placed it upon your shoulder, giving you a gentle squeeze. My goodness, where did you find those bastards to marry?
âGot any kids?â He asked you. Softly. Threading carefully.
âI tried. After we lost our boy, I really tried to get pregnant again. I wasnât able to.â You said softly, you had at least wanted a baby. Not because you thought it would fulfill you. That was crap. But you wanted a kid so that you wouldnât be so alone. âBut Iâm also grateful I never had a kid. It wouldnât have been healthy if I had the kid calling three men daddy.â
âThatâs true.â Austin said, taking a sip from his glass and nodding his head. âListen. I know that you might think that Iâve forgotten about our baby. I havenât. I visit the grave whenever I can. Itâs just hard for me. Still. To believe he would have been thirteen this year.â
Austin looked down again. Taking your hand in his, his thumb rubbing the back of your hand.
Your baby boy would have been thirteen this year. How time flies.
You and Austin had been eighteen when you had a shotgun wedding because he knocked you up. He had been nervous but so happy. I mean, a tiny baby? He adored tiny babies. It was a happy married albeit you two didnât know what to do.
But then, it happened, you delivered a beautiful baby boy. A tiny black-haired beauty, he had been a fighter, he had tried to beat the heat stroke that took him. You cried for days, he was there by your side, but he was young too and he was battling with his own demons, he quite literally filled for divorce out of nowhere, when you needed him the most.
You never saw each other again until now.
âI sometimes wonder, how different my life would be if he had lived.â Austin said softly, looking at you.
âMe too.â You wanted to cry, but you held back. You already cried a lot to your first child. You cried in private, like a prayer.
âMaybe we shouldâve stayed married.â Austin said, almost with a hint of hopelessness. You stared up at him, a small smile on your lips.
âYou were the best of them all.â You said, a smile on your lips. For all his faults, back then he was a kid too, and he mourned in whatever way he found fit.
âWhat a terrifying thought,â he finished his Old-Fashioned and laughed once again, shaking his head as he licked his lips. âJesus Christ, donât say that.â
You laughed together again, as you had done when you were younger. As you used to do late at night. And for some hours, you were happy by his side. He took this as an opportunity to talk about him now.
âYou know, my girlfriend and I are having problems. Last thing I knew was that she fucked this comedian guy, from SNLâŚâ
As you waited for a taxi, you smoked together. Maybe this could be the last time you two saw each other. Your lives were the total opposite now. He was a successful actor with a girlfriend and you were an office worker, who spent all her time working or outside.
But you couldnât deny that when he talked, you stared at his lips, he stared at yours. The way he smoked, the way he held the cigarette.
âArenât you lonely now? I mean, youâre all alone.â Austin asked as he threw the ash on the floor.
âIâm trying to learn how to be alone. It will be my next yearâs resolution. Stay away from dating.â You chuckled, you then took a drag from your cigarette. âBut yes. I canât get lonely from time to time. I have been someoneâs wife for too long, being and living with someone changed the way you feel once theyâre gone.â
âI can relate. Kaia and Iâ we never even got to live together before everything went south. All just because of her stupid parents and her stupid pap walks. Itâs exhausting, really.â He groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose with this empty hand. âAnd now that I finally put my limits. Sheâs all mad at me, with her team sending these ridiculous articles, making me the bad guy.â
âHey, itâll get better.â You said, patting his shoulder. âThatâs what you get for dating a twenty-something year old.â You patted his shoulder a bit more playfully.
You two started playing with one another, pushing each other playfully, the cigarettes on the floor already. Until he cornered you in the brick wall.
He leaned in and kissed you, you followed the kiss, at first it started slow but it escalated quickly. His tongue entered your mouth, both your tongues danced with one another, his hand went to your neck, pressing it softly. You both could taste the cigarette and liquor on your lips and mouths.
You hadnât kissed someone in so long, but it wasnât right. It wasnât. No. Not like this. No, you had promised yourself that you wouldnât say anymore.
So after a while, you pushed him off you gently. He was out of breath, he kicked his lips, his hand going to the side of your head, he leaned down.
âYou could survive another manâŚâ He basically purred out, his lips on a smirk.
âIt wouldnât work between us.â You said. Looking into his eyes.
âWhy not?â He asked, his eyes only showed confusion.
He would forget you, and you would forget him. For the love of God, never once in thirteen years did he try to contact you, and viceversa. You both would remember your baby boy, but not one another. You two would disappear into each otherâs memory until you were old and wrinkly, telling your grandchildren or whatever young person asked about your youth. Talking about how you had a shotgun wedding. Of how you two lost your baby. About how you two continued each otherâs lives like strangers.
âWeâre too different now.â You said, it was all you could mutter.
Not all the bottled up pain you had from when he just left you, grieving and alone. Nothing. You just couldnât even talk about it anymore.
He stared at you and nodded. You know what? He understood. He understood where you came from. He was a dick back then. And he couldnât expect you to jump into his arms after all the men you went through, after what you went through with him.
âItâs alright.â He said, pulling away from you. âI guess I should go back to my apartment, itâs late.â He cleared his throat and came closer to hug you. âIt was great seeing you again. I hope we see each other walking by or something. Goodbye.â
He knew he was lying. He was pleased to see you, but every time he looked at you, he saw your younger self. He saw the baby. He saw all the bad things. He loved you once. Not anymore. He had a special place for you in his memory.
But it would be the last time you two saw each other.
As you watched him walk away, you took deep breaths. That was it. You were alone once again. As you had been before he walked into the cafĂŠ. You had no one to turn to tomorrow.
As a taxi pulled to the side, you got in and told the driver the address of the hotel you were staying at.
You were all on your own.
I wonât have any free time from now on so⌠Iâll try to really write whenever I have time.

6B4T
Lately there has been talk about 4B and so I wanted to bring up 6B4T which grew from the South Korean 4B movement, and specially the 6B4T movement as it is practiced by our Chinese sisters. Before that however differences between the both are as followed:
4B
No sex with men
No giving birth
No dating men
No marriage with men
6B4T
Includes the original commandments of 4B and adds the following:
Donât buy products from misogynistic brands
Support single women/women that have chosen to be celibate
Reject the corset (rejecting toxic beauty standards)
Reject idol culture (as in male-worship and idolization of entertainment figures this ALSO includes rejecting idol culture for female kpop idols/entertainers)
Reject otaku culture (rejecting misogynistic anime culture)
Reject religion
(**You may see 6B4T referred to as 10bt to avoid censorship as CN social media sites are heavily monitored by government censors, even outside of CN social media CN sisters will still refer to it as 10bt because 6b + 4t = 10bt)
Now that there's a basic understanding... I wanted to talk about some of the differences that the CN 6B4T movement has compared to what I usually encounter in English speaking radfem circles. Please note that this is my own experience and as with any political movement there can a myriad of women that agree and disagree (except on the 6B4T principles as a whole, those are rock solid for them haha.)
I was first aware of this movement around 2020 and have been following women on twitter/x since then that follow these beliefs. All of this has been gathered from tweets by 6B4T users on twitter/x + interactions with them. I am not a CN speaker and have used translation apps to piece together details on the 6B4T movement and have cross referenced this with some of the writings I can find in English about this and the conversations that I have had with some of the 10bt sisters that were willing to interact with me.
I do not feel comfortable just singling out specific accounts for people to look up on twitter but anyone that wants to do their own research can search the keywords on twitter 6B4T or 10bt and go under the "People" filter to populate accounts of CN women that have 6B4T and/or 10bt in their bio.
One thing that I want to talk about right away - the term donkey. It will come up quite often when you search 10bt accounts and is used to describe women that are perpetuating patriarchy because they "carry the patriarchy without protest and allow themselves to be exploited." (This includes married women.) 10bt sisters DO NOT have an emphasis on educating women that perpetuate patriarchy. You can find sayings such as:
"Feminism is like being given a weapon to support yourself with, do not use it to commit suicide by having a complex of saving donkeys"Â
âDon't do donkey work for donkeys".
âDonât get derailed by women support women, leave the donkeys alone.â
Which leads me to the next point - 10bt sisters are for empowering women independently. There is obvious acknowledgement of bonds and relationships between women but the general feeling is more to focus on the individual self, connections are based solely on shared interests and can be let go of as needed. (I have also seen discussions of letting go of romantic ties not just for straight sisters but for lesbian sisters as well.) Sentiments such as "focusing on oneself is a foundation for a happy life" "All thoughts and ideologies cannot be separated from down to earth efforts and dedication" are plenty. Really a focus away from "altruistic" causes so to speak
And on that note: anti veganism. 10bt sisters in general are adamant that 6B4T principles should only include tackling patriarchy and not have other causes added to it. Anti veganism sentiment also seems to stem from certain aspects in CN culture of serving smaller portions to young girls and discouraging them to eat meat as opposed to men. The focus on improving one's self from before also shows up here: "Women need strength to overthrow patriarchy, only then should we focus on improving the lives of animals."
Some 10bt sisters are also very open about criticism and believe women that openly identify with the 10bt movement should be prepared to have their posts critiqued, and while some will debate this... one of the things that is absolutely non negotiable is that actions MUST back up words. Thereâs lots of debates that go on in the 10bt movement but the bare minimum is that if you follow 6B4T then you must follow its core beliefs otherwise what are you here for? There is a huge disdain for those that say they belong to this movement but donât follow its beliefs.
With that being said, how do the 10bt sisters feel about 4B taking off in the states? WellâŚ
â4B grew into 6B4T and they only dared to do half of the movement? Itâs disappointing.â
âAt this point in time, it is crazy to deliberately go back and start from 4B. You have someoneâs shoulder to stand on but you wonât take it.â
â4B: No marriage, no giving birth , no sex, no dating. Doesn't that mean they are still serving as donkeys: supporting idols and otaku, believing in religion, using pornographic content, and consuming misogynistic brands... It really makes one recognize by a glance what stupid things they are still doing.â
âI don't understand how this kind of castration of the feminist movement came about.â
Is some of the general consensus on twitter/x.
Two more things I will add here before I wrap this up:
I have seen a post in English about other principles to follow such as 5B, 7B or 8B. I am not aware of what these principles are and could not find a CN source to confirm this so if 5B, 7B and 8B do exist, I do not believe it originated from the CN movement.Â
There is also the concept of icing men out aka if a man comments on your social media posts immediately delete the comment EVEN if it is a comment in agreement. For this while I also could not find a specific CN source for the 10bt sisters, it feels like it is just natural to not interact with men. I have yet to see debates on whether someone can be part of 10bt and still have a boyfriend, husband, etc since the answer will always be a resounding NO. (And on this note⌠if you are curious about attitudes towards male family members.. rejection of filial piety is something that is very agreed upon. I would recommend first learning what filial piety entails in CN culture as whole if there is curiosity about this.)
I will wrap this up with one of my favorite concepts I have encountered from our 10bt sisters:
âWhen one woman keeps house*: five women are trapped: herself, daughter, mother, sister-in-law, and female coworkersâ
[*keeps house meaning - âwhen one woman marriesâŚâ]Â
If there are sisters out here who are involved with this or have more info to add please feel free to do so! Also would love to get in touch with any that know more on the CN 10bt movement. Â

Rollo tries to propose to Yuu but everyone tries to sabotage him đ
LMAO, Rollo has to get through so many people just to propose to Yuu!
Rollo vs NRC
The fourth year had come, gone, and they NRC students had returned to the school to graduate. Rollo had spent his apprentice in Fleur city, learning about all he could with his new found interest in volunteer work and planning for his future... in more ways than one. He had purchased a ring, intending to propose to the love of his life at the graduation. Him and Yuu had only grown closer in the time apart, which was a surprise to Rollo, for he had heard how many couples had struggled with long distance relationships.
Outside of phone calls, Rollo had not see her for a year, so had had no idea how much she had changed. Taking a deep breath, he stepped through the portal and into the Mirror Chamber. Other 4th years were in there and chatting among one another, most paid him no mind....but he halted as a call of his name sounded.
"Roll-kun!" Cater waved him over.
Rollo approached him and took in the ginger's new looks. Cater had stayed the same height but his hair was different, he had dyed red locks on top of his longer hair. He wrapped him up in a hug and smiled.
"Look at you! Your hair has really grown out! Yuu-chan's gonna love it."
Rollo gave a soft smile and dragged his fingers through his long gray hair. "Thank you, Cater."
"And a smile too? She really changed you~"
"Indeed." Rollo patted his pocket and felt the box against it. "Now if you'll excuse me-"
"Going to see Child of Man with that ring?"
Rollo jolted and sighed as he turned around to see a smiling Malleus. "Malleus...."
"Hello, Flamme." Malleus gave a small bow. "Am I right in assuming you plan on asking her to marry you?"
"Wait, no kidding!?"
Rollo sighed and nodded. "I am. Now, I'm off to go find her. Farewell."
He left, complete unaware of Malleus and Cater smiling at each other. From there, Rollo could not find Yuu anywhere, and everyone he had asked had pointed him in various opposite directions. Idia and Ortho had straight up lied to him, stating that Yuu wasn't even here to begin with. Silver and Sebek just shook their heads and said that she might be else where, just not on campus. And yet everywhere else had wielding the results of "I don't know"
He was getting frustrated at this point, but before he could even think of where else to go, the announcement for the graduation started. With a sigh, he went to the podium and waiting for eveything to start.
Once the ceremony ended, he departed the stage and was about to start looking for her again, he got tackled.
"Enough of this!" Rollo glared at Deuce, Ace, and Grim. "Why is everyone so hellbent on stopping me!"
"You can't ask her to marry you." Ace grumbled.
"Yeah!" Grim added in. "She's my henchhuman and I don't want you macking on her!"
"By the sevens... We're already dating!" Rollo growled and pried the three off of him. "This is getting absurd!"
"You can't blame us..." Deuce said. "She means the world to us."
"I understand that, but she means the same to me." He sighed. "And I haven't seen her all day. We've only been communicating through calls... And I miss her terribly."
"Aw."
Rollo jolted and turned around to see Yuu standing behind him with Cater and Malleus in a headlock. She smiled warmly at her and her hair had gotten longer, they were worked into brains with hair ornaments in them.
"Love."
"Heard you been looking for me and everyone sent you on a wild goose chase." She shook Cater ad Malleus. "Thanks to these two."
"Guilty as charged~" Cater laughed.
"It was all in good fun." Malleus huffed.
"Now." She dropped them as they landed on the ground face down. "What's up?"
"I wanted to ask you something." He reached into his pocket and before he could get down on one knee to begin, the others started gathering around.
"Aw~ Snapping Turtle's gonna propose~" Floyd.
"How beautiful!" Rook.
"I'll be the one designing the dress no doubt." Vil.
"About time." Leona.
Rollo sighed as the chatter started up around him, Yuu tugged him forward by his robes.
"I know you had this all planned out, but you know how these guys are." She kissed him. "Put the ring on, the answer's gonna be yes no matter what."
Rollo opened the box and slipped the ring on her before placing his forehead on her shoulder.
"I hate them."
"No, you don't.

My Take on the Reverse Gravity Falls AU
Mabel Pines/Ms.Mystery/Auntie May
She and Dipper didn't fall out like Stan and Ford
She was the first one Dipper asked to help with his investigation on Gravity Falls
While Dipper wrote the journals, she was the one to set up and organize them
She set Dipper up with Pacifica (after they had an amicable breakup)
Was the one to get most of the information about Gnomes and Mermaids
Narrowly missed becoming the gnome queen; they're still trying to marry her
Is pen pals with Mermando, and they still hang out occasionally
Didn't push Dipper into the portal, but blames herself
Can't trust most people after what happened the last time she misplaced her trust
Raised Dipper and Pacifica's kid after Dipper disappeared and Pacifica was unable to care for them
Spent most of the first ten years of Dipper's disappearance trying to be a good parent
Was heartbroken when Dipper's kid emancipated themself at sixteen (telling her they blamed her for both Dipper's disappearance and Pacifica's state)
After she was cut off she refocused on bringing Dipper back
Was surprised that Stan and Ford were put in her care, but obviously said yes to taking care of them over the summer
Dipper Pines/'The Author'/Grandpa
Decided to study the anomalies in Gravity Falls because he and Mabel spent their summers in Gravity Falls
Was never good at drawing/scrapbooking so he invited Mabel to join him
Didn't believe Pacifica had changed when Mabel first set them up, but quickly realized he liked her (headcanoning that he's greysexual in this au, and the only other person he's wanted to date was Wendy)
Was still friends with Wendy, but they grew apart while he was at University; before the accident he was 'boyish' Dan's godfather
After a couple years of studying Gravity Falls he grew frustrated at the lack of answers and summoned Bill from a cave painting he and Mabel had found as kids
Bill convinces him to build the portal
After the birth of His and Pacifica's child he looses momentum on the portal, so Bill convinces him to give him his body while he sleeps
While Bill considers stopping the annoyance permanently, he realizes that it's in his best interest to let the Northwest-Pines' play family while the portal was still a long way from complete
Tries to help Pacifica after the first portal incident, but isn't able to
After he finds out what Bill is doing he becomes paranoid, unable to sleep and distancing himself from his child, afraid that now he knows what Bill is doing he might use them to manipulate him (or worse)
He doesn't blame Mabel for getting stuck in the portal
Pacifica Northwest/Old Mrs Northwest
Everybody in town uses her married title but most don't remember her being married
Kept her last name for the prestige in town
Was the stereotypical mean girl growing up
After getting out of her parents' influence during university she became a better person (though she did still have her moments)
Dated Mabel for a couple weeks before they had a mutual breakup
Was hesitant about dating Dipper for a while, but when Mabel herself set them up she decided to just try it, not expecting it to work out
Well, it did, and she joins the portal building (while also working on her own projects); she's the main financer of their work after the grant money runs out
She and Dipper weren't planning on having a child, but both were ecstatic when they found out
She was the one to get her head stuck in the portal and tries to forget about it
She was already working on the memory gun before joining the twins, hoping to get the town forget about how terrible she was as a kid
After making up with Mabel (and later Dipper) the project was put on the backburner
At first she only used it occasionally, but after Dipper's disappearance she used it way more, to the point of not being able to remember anything
Has moments of lucidity where she does try to get into contact with her child, but without the memories she took out they don't last long. She often thinks her child is still 6 (their age when Dipper disappeared)
When she was still okay she set up funds for Dipper, Mabel, and her child. Mabel only uses hers to fix the portal, the child's was used when they emancipated themself to get a house and shop. Dipper's has been left unused.
Stanley and Stanford Pines
I haven't thought much about their part yet, tbh
They actually do know that their grandpa went missing, but assume he's dead
They don't know Old Mrs. Northwest is their grandma (Mabel isn't hiding it, she just assumed they would know)
Mabel actually isn't hiding anything, the boys are just so caught up in the mystery of the falls they don't notice the obvious
Like, there's very clear references to Mabel's relationships with the gnomes and Mermando, they just don't connect the dots (these boys have never heard the term 'Occam's razor')
They were sent there for the summer after Stanley 'borrowed' the necklace from the pawnshop (and their whole adventure with the Jersey Devil)
Ford immediately forms a rivalry with another kid visiting Gravity Falls. When he tells Stan and Mabel this both worry it's a bullying situation. That is, until they meet Fiddleford
Ford is caught between having a burning hate for the kid and great admiration.
Stan befriends a bunch of kids, but as soon as he meets Gideon (another of Mabel's exes) he makes it his mission to ruin the man's fake psychic career
He does this mainly through pretending to be Ford and showing up at his shows. After Gideon catches on Stan starts having Ford go in his stead. Mabel finds this hilarious (her breakup with him was less amicable than the one with Pacifica. While they don't exactly hate each other, she does enjoy seeing him brought down a peg or two)
I am trying to figure out this au, but I really like what I have so far. Any questions are welcome, and I'll try to answer them.

There are some blogs optimistic about Tommy back at some point, what are your thoughts about it?
I don't want to get too optimistic, because that's how we got ourselves here in the first place. Let's be honest. This was always a possibility and was even laid out as a possibility in the articles/interviews, we just chose to get too high on the hope. We were treating it as a sure thing and that was never the case. We duped ourselves a little on this one, and yes, I'm absolutely including myself.
Now, as many have pointed out (which I absolutely agree with) if you were to be completely oblivious about the articles and/or what they said, the breakup very much looks like it's open ended. It looks like something that's unresolved or meant to be resolved at a later date. They made it something that could be resolved. Something like moving away or wanting completely different things in life is a lot harder to work through and more definative. They clearly both want to be with each other. Tommy said he wanted to be Buck's last. He said he wouldn't be able to deal with the (what he thought was inevitable) heartbreak. You only get hurt that deep when you lose something you wanted that bad.
This is honestly the first time we ever heard Buck even utter the words "engaged" or "married" to any of his SOs. I do think it's something he wanted down the road, I just don't think he was there yet, and that's absolutely fine. The relationship was still very new. There was clearly a lot they didn't know about each other yet.
It was far too soon to make the commitment of moving in, and Tommy was just trying to stop things from getting any further before he got too deep (too late, me thinks.)
If you remove the clear bias of the journalists writing these "exit interviews" (is that even a thing in television?) they start to sound much like your run of the mill interview they do with every main after they have a major storyline play out on screen. Look at the direct quotes, not what the journalists are inferring for themselves.
All that being said, I'm not getting my hopes up, and I'm not planning on watching live again until I have a definite as to where the storyline is going, and if that takes until the final episode ever, so be it. I will get back to it eventually. Until then, I'll be keeping tabs on what's going on through Tumblr.
Now, this is just a little thought in my brain that has absolutely nothing to back it up whatsoever. I think maybe either Lou needed this break to get away from the bs and finish his role on SWAT, or they gave it to him and he's taking it.
We know he was surprised, but what he was surprised about was how soon it happened. Tells me that at least a temporary break was planned, just not until further down. Or maybe he only meant the disagreement.
We very much know Tim likes to plan out his story about 5 seconds in advance, there could be a tentative plan to maybe bring Tommy back down the road, say, after the midseason hiatus. Could even be the "project that may or may not be happening" that Lou had mentioned.
Buck is my favorite character, but I'm not interested in seeing him regress or go through the same storyline for the millionth time. If he doesn't at least try and fight for Tommy or talk things out with him, it's just more of the same season 5 Buck. I love 99% of the other characters too, but they also suffer from the Groundhog's Day writing and I'm just old and tired.
#one thing you can always count on me for is a long winded answer that you probably didn't want#but thanks all the same! i love interacting with y'all!#hope for the best but expect the worst basically#bucktommy#911 abc#tv shows#asked and answered#anon#and yes if we don't see some type of resolution one way or the other then that's just piss poor writing

girl next door đ - 3
a/n: forgot to post this on here my bad 𫣠saw someone ask about a taglist for this storyâ let me know if you wanna be added to that :)
âYou just had to pick somewhere in town for dinner? You know how the traffic is on the weekend.â JJ grumbled as they finally pulled into the parking lot of a new restaurant in town.
âI only picked it because last time we went out you not so subtly mentioned wanting to try a new place. Plus you didnât even have to drive. Now come on, our reservation is for 8 and weâre cutting it a little close.â Emily answered as the women both exited the car.
They made it into the restaurant and were almost instantly seated. Emily pulled JJâs seat out for her in an act of chivalry that had always been there since theyâd met and they both settled to look over their menus. As the two women decided on a bottle of wine they missed the younger woman seated just three tables away from them. Y/n sat with a grimace as she listened to her date drone on about her work life and ab routine.
This was her first date in the DC area and she was starting to regret letting Grayson talk her into this. Sheâd been single for a while and if Susan was any indication of the DC dating pool, sheâd be single for way longer. Sheâd matched with Susan on a dating app and they talked for a few days before setting up this date. Susan was beautiful, no doubt, but that seemed to be the only thing she had going for her. Sheâd basically spent the entire evening talking about herself and it was not looking good. Sheâd been in the city for about a month and a half and all Grayson could talk about was her needing to get laid. As she sat and listened to the older blonde drone on, she was really trying to decide how important an orgasm was to her right now.
âIt really has been such a tough year at the firm though. Theyâd really be lost without me.â As the words left Susanâs mouth and Y/n fought an eye-roll, the waitress serving the other table turned and bumped into the womanâs back.
The teen turned around with an apology on her lips, but the disgust on Susanâs face was clear as day. She grumbled out a response but turned to Y/n to complain. âI canât believe theyâd just hire anyone here. I think she dented my hair, Iâm gonna go fix this mess in the bathroom.â Susan left the table and Y/n sighed. She was not worth the hassle. She pulled her phone out to shoot a text to Grayson.
y/n: this is the worst date iâve been on⌠like ever
gray: oh it canât be that bad. She was so hot.
y/n: well thatâs all sheâs got going for her. sheâs in the bathroom right now fixing her hair because a waitress barely touched her.
gray: oh that is not hot⌠this is disappointing. you know you wouldnât even be on this date had you already made a move on your sexy fbi neighbors.
y/n: gray get serious. theyâre literally married to each other??? why would i make a move on either of them?
gray: well you and i both know you donât just want to sleep with one of them. if you had it your way, youâd be sandwiched between both of them. which i think you could be, if you werenât such a pussy.
Y/n huffed an exasperated laugh as she readied her fingers to reply. What she didnât expect was to hear her name floating over her shoulder. She turned around in confusion and was even more surprised to see JJ leaning back in her chair with a smile. âJJ? Oh, Hi!â the younger woman responded hoping the low light was hiding the blush coloring her cheeks. She watched as the older woman got up from her table and came to lean against her chair.
âHi sweetheart, what are you doing here? Are you alone?â JJ asked curiously. She chose to ignore the term of endearment that slipped from her lips, of course.
âUh no. Iâm actually on a date right now.â Y/n said gesturing to the other glass of wine across from her.
JJâs eyes widened a bit in surprise and she couldnât stop her eyes from roaming the restaurant for the potential date. Coming up with no leads she brought her eyes back to Y/n, âOh really? And how is that going?â
Y/n looked around before whispering to the older blonde, âTerrible.â
JJ laughed cheekily as she gazed at the younger womanâs pout. Y/n shook her head in exasperation before grabbing the glass of wine sheâd been nursing for the whole night. âI really hope this isnât an indicator of how dating in DC is going to be for me. Whereâs Emily?â
âAwe, they canât be that bad, can they? Sheâs gone to the bathroom.â JJ said looking over her shoulder and seeing the brunette heading over to her. âOh, here she is.â
âJen, what are youâ oh. Hi Y/n, what are you doing here?â Emily asked in shock allowing her hand to settle at JJâs waist.
âSheâs on a bad date. What took you so long?â JJ wondered as she rested her hand on Y/nâs shoulder unconsciously stroking the bare skin in comfort.
âOh, that sucks. I got stuck waiting for this god-awful woman to finish fluffing her hair at the sinks. She was complaining about the incompetent staff knocking her coiffed hair out of place. God, I hate people like that.â At the older womanâs explanation, the younger of the three downed the rest of her wine with a grimace and sigh.
âOh my god, is she your date?â JJ asked giddily.
âUnfortunately. Sheâs spent the entire evening talking about her law firm and ab routine, and then this happened. Now I must suffer through this evening and think of a way to ghost her.â Y/n whined.
âHow did you end up with someone like that?â Emily wondered aloud.
âShe didnât seem like this when we matched. Iâve honestly been so shocked all evening. Trust, there wonât be any more dates after this.â
âOh poor baby,â JJ started when she spotted a huffy blonde making her way over. âLooks like sheâs coming back. Weâll be over there, just cough really loud or something if you need to be saved.â JJ winked, linking her hands with Emilyâs and going back over to their table after Y/n nodded in understanding.
Once back at their table, both women couldnât help but stare. âWell one thing for sure, sheâs into women. And we seem to fit her type.â JJ smirked as she watched the younger woman nod along while her date rambled.
âAnd Iâll drink to that!â Emily grinned and she and JJ clinked their glasses together. Eyes still trained on their beautiful neighbor.

Henry hotline x reader headcanons (but this time thereâs a WHOLE BUNCH)
So I feel like the last Henry headcanons have been too short, I want to feed yâall (and myself) a three course meal, so, Iâm just gonna be putting anything about Henry hotline I can think of here and hope for the best!! Enjoy my cringe slop
âď¸- Alright, first off, he LOVES giving you any sort of affection, and will constantly hold your hand whenever heâs with you. When sitting next to each other, heâll put his arm behind you on your chair. Any sort of touch or affection he can get.
âď¸- Will tease you sometimes, but never actually be mean to you, heâll just poke some fun at you, like if your short heâll say âHowâs the weather down thereâ or something.
âď¸- Speaking of being short, if you were, heâd lean on you with his arm, like putting it on your head or shoulder. Unless you donât want him too, though. Otherwise your permanently his wall to lean on.
âď¸- SHOWERS you in gifts, I under exaggerated how much he gives you gifts in my first post. Anywhere he goes, heâs getting you a gift. Itâs honestly insane just how much stuff you have from this guy, and most of it is pretty fancy.
âď¸- Heâs definitely rich as fuck. No doubt. If you want something, your getting it. A necklace? Itâs already on your neck. A new phone? Of course, just donât call him too often with it. Even if you feel bad about spending so much of his money, heâll just reassure you that heâs got plenty. More than plenty, actually.
âď¸- Heâd get jealous often, not like super annoyingly often where if you talk to someone other than him heâd be mad, heâll just get a little jealous often when your talking to Frankie or deputy duck-actually, HUGE emphasis on deputy duck. He hates that bitch, if he sees you talking to him heâs immediately coming up and joining the conversation, while giving deputy duck a VERY obvious glare.
âď¸- Cuddles you all the time. He loves having your head on his chest while you two watch some corny movie together, or just having you in his arms. He never wants to let go once heâs got you cuddled up in a bunch of warm blankets together.
âď¸- Brags about you 24/7, will not shut the fuck up about you when your not around, heâs practically driving Frankie insane.
âď¸- Never ever in a million years will he ever want kids, but, heâll happily marry you without a second thought! Just. . No kids. His headaches are already terrible enough, he doesnât need anymore screaming kids around him, heâs got enough of them to deal with at the park. And they CONSTANTLY call him!
âď¸- Loves to take you out on fancy dates, if you couldnât tell already, he absolutely loves spoiling you.
âď¸- Someoneâs making you uncomfortable? He is absolutely livid. Heâs immediately coming over and putting an arm around your waist before they can try anything else, and gives them the most passive aggressive smile youâve seen from him, and youâve seen those smiles before from his bad temper.
âď¸- Speaking of his temper, sometimes heâll snap at you thinking your someone working on his show or something, but as soon as he realizes itâs you, he apologizes profusely. He feels so bad about it, he didnât mean to upset you, heâd never want to.
âď¸- Heâs both a cat and a dog person, he just canât really choose. Cats are nice, calm and cuddly, but he also loves the energy from dogs and playing with them. If you want to get a cat or a dog, heâs all for it, he doesnât care which one you want either. If your happy, heâs happy.
âď¸- He can start arguments pretty easily with his constant headache, but each time he feels really bad about it, muttering apologies and finding a really nice gift to make you feel better. Heâs usually a really good with words and an absolute flirt, but after an argument, he canât even say a single sentence correctly.
âď¸- Speaking of flirting, he does it constantly. Flirts, loving teases, the whole nine yards. His ultimate goal is to make you blush like a tomato. Of course, if your mad or being serious he wonât, but otherwise, heâs cooking tomatoes.
I was in a online class Making This and the teacher randomly called my name and I panicked and scared my cat, hope you guys I was giggling and kicking my feet making this hes LITERALLY my husband Im literally Henry hotlines number 1 fan (btw, if anyoneâs been looking for some Henry hotline bots on character ai, I can give yâall my account name so yâall can check out mine, thereâs like NO finding Frankie bots and I wanna change that)

-her and rita had a on/off relationship, longest they were broken up was a month
-bpd with psychotic features, ptsd, destructive behaviours (especially when she was younger)
-her 'rebellion' is putting 100% into everything. they want her to be a deatheater? she's going to be the most devoted one there is. do well in school? she's getting top scores.
-very extreme with everything she does.
-hated sirius since he was born for getting to be the heir. was both happy and angry when he ran.
-regulus was her favourite until he became the heir
-jealous that narcissa and andromeda were closer with eachother than with her
-used to sing
-she wasn't always 'crazy', but once everyone referred to her that way and acted as if she was, well, its difficult to not become that
-if she was an animagus, she would be a raven
-naturally curly hair, absolutely cannot tame it. black hair
Andromeda
-middle child
-played croquet, didn't care much for any sports
-it was only in hogwarts that she questioned pureblood ideology
-dated ted after 6th year secretly
-ran away after hogwarts with ted
-challenged her families beliefs subtly
-ptsd, osdd 3, extreme paranoia
-was closest with narcissa (and later sirius)
-played the violin
-visited narcissa the night before her wedding, wanting her to run with her. accepted her answer as no, but made sure she knows how to contact her if she ever needs to.
-she does miss her sisters, but knows running was the right thing for her to do
-if she was an animagus, she would be a heron
-naturally wavy/curly hair, very dark brown hair.
Narcissa
-youngest child
-plays croquet, prefers to watch quidditch rather than play.
-doesn't 100% agree with pureblood ideology after andromeda ran, but will never openly go against it
-often got overlooked in favour of her sisters
-she doesn't express emotions loudly like her sisters, but she feels very strongly and deeply
-had a short and sweet relationship with alice before lucius. she wonders what it could've been
-dated lucius in 7th year, got married a year after hogwarts
-ptsd, osdd 4, anorexia (mostly recovered in adulthood, relapsed with the stress of the war)
-was closest with andromeda (and then regulus)
-plays the piano occasionally
-if she was an animagus, she would be a swan
-naturally wavy hair, straightens it. black hair with poliosis making streaks of her hair white. she later starts dying her hair
All of them
-i hc that croquet, fencing, and hunting were all things that purebloods were expected to do
-they were all close during their hogwarts years, before everything went downhill
-the symbolism of three!!
-childhood nicknames for eachother make me cry. "andy" "cissy" "bella"/"trix/ie"

Pt 8
After much bed squeaking, panting, moaning, and appeals to deities Lucifer only maybe kind of sort of believed in on a bad day, Adam pushed himself off of Lucifer, and fell onto the bed beside him. He had a happy lazy look on his face, eyes still glazed from what Lucifer hoped was a phenomenal orgasm.
Lucifer reached down and tidied himself up quickly, throwing his condom away, enjoying how slick it felt on the outside before it went in the bin. Adam had been amazing, best sex Lucifer had had since before he was married.
"You pass," Adam said fondly, and Lucifer laughed.
"I didn't know I was being tested." Lucifer preened slightly under the compliment. "You know, I'm a perfectionist, what score did I get?"
"Me, I'm the score." Adam grinned cheekily, moving in closer to Lucifer's body, until Lucifer was practically resting his head on his shoulder. "I really didn't know what to expect from you, in general. I thought you were cute immediately, but Lute always tells me I have shit taste. But, most people don't make anglerfish jokes with me. Plus, you seem like a good dad, and I could use that. I mean, I do my job well, but I'm kind of a mess. Seriously, I'm never taking you to my apartment."
Lucifer felt his heart grow, and he leaned up to kiss Adam, even though he'd been kissing him (everywhere) all night, it still didn't exactly feel like enough. Was this what love at first sight felt like? Maybe Lucifer was getting ahead of himself, but it seemed pretty clear that Adam wanted more dates.
They didn't talk much more for a few minutes, just enjoying one another, leisurely kissing, touching, feeling each other. Until Lucifer's phone buzzed on the side table, and he was forced to retrieve it and look at the message. Apparently, Charlie had woken up in the middle of the night wanting her dad, and Lilith had just calmed her down, but thought Lucifer should know.
"You and the ex seem on good terms," Adam said, clearly having read the message beside him.
"Yeah, I mean. She destroyed my heart a few years ago, but we're okay now." Lucifer laughed, but it hid a not so deep hurt, one that kept the ring on his finger. "We had Charlie when things were starting to go south between us, which was a bad idea."
Adam made a noise of acknowledgement, but his expression grew slightly more closed off. "Yeah, never helps." He said, sitting up and resting his arms on his knees. "... My ex and I tried to have a kid at one point."
Lucifer blinked, eyes going big, before glancing down at Adam. "Did you... Were you?"
"...Yup," Adam said quietly. "...Only lasted till the end of the first term. I didn't want to try again after."
Lucifer's shoulders fell, and he moved in closer, wrapping an arm around Adam, to the best of his ability, given their size differences. "I'm so sorry."
"It's fine, but thanks." Adam said with a sideways smile. "Do you want to go out some time with Charlie too? I know a few kid friendly places."
"Anything with you," Lucifer said honestly, and Adam kissed him.
"You're so corny, I love it."

One of the girls I broke in my early 20s is happily married to a man now. I went to their wedding! I even fucked her after the rehearsal dinner. (As hot as it is when women cheat on their partners for me, in this case they're open, and he was off with two of the bridesmaids.)
She was a trans man when we met, and "straight," meaning she only dated girls. Skinny, and little, but with some intense curves. This was before binders were everywhere, and she has absolutely gigantic tits. Great ass, too. And she had real fakeboy energy about it, she had a lot of tight and low cut shirts, like she was just daring people to call her a girl.
She started taking T while I knew her, and she got so horny about it. We got a lot closer as friends because of that: I was the only person in the group who wasn't kinda put off by how much more sexual she got in regular conversation.
We started hanging out when she did her shot every week, because she had started really sexualizing it. I started helping her do it, and she would pull her pants way down and show me her whole ass when I put the needle in. She liked seeing me get hard over her.
One time, when she'd been on it for about four months, she asked me if I wanted to see her bottom growth, and I said yeah. Her clit had gotten huge. Apparently the order in which changes happen in HRT can be pretty random, and for her, it seems like her body went full tilt on growing that clit.
She stroked it with two fingers to make sure it got all the way hard, and kept gently playing with it as I got down on my knees in front of her to get a close look. I'm sure she could feel my breath on her labia. She started stroking herself harder, then she said "fuck," like something in her had broken, and she grabbed my head and pulled me into her cunt.
That became part of the ritual. I'd come over, inject her bare ass with a drug that made her clit swell and caused debilitating horniness, then I'd suck on that clit until she came three or four times. And of course, that escalated. I'd masturbate while I ate her. Then she'd slide down to my cock and put it in her. I'd suck on her tits. She'd eat my cum.
We started skipping the shot part and going straight to fucking. Her sex drive never returned to pre-T levels. In a couple months she came out to our friends as a cis lesbian, while she was still gorging herself on my cock every Thursday.
When I had to move for work, we kept our weekly appointment via phone sex, and she kept me up to date with fresh nudes, her own and the ones girls were sending her. Somewhere in there she started dating men, too, and I guess started saying she was bisexual.
The guy she ultimately married caught us together in his bed when I was visiting her in Providence. This dude went full cuck in zero seconds flatâshe made eye contact and kept riding me, and he took his dick out and started stroking to us. He came fast, and she looked at me and said "That's why you're underneath me right now."
After that she started letting her friends use him as a sex toy, and he's never been happier. I drop in unannounced and fuck her in front of him whenever I'm in Rhode Island.
