I've been seeing the Quadruple Life (a fanmade lifeseries) posts from time to time and ngl I am a bit inspired by the 'choose your own adventure' style of it. I'm writing this down here so I don't forget it and so yall can give feedback if you want but I'm thinking it'd be really really cool to make my own characters in a minecraft world and basically play a game with you all via polls and different rolls all throughout, making our own adventure and seeing what happens

I've had these percolating for a while now - like, 2 years, actually!!! I keep adding onto and adjusting specifics of the different species, or adding new ones, but I'll list the my shortlist of Hermits/Lifers and their species here, and then I'll start posting the details for species individually, before making a masterpost with links to all of them and this!!!

(Edit: I just realized I forgot to mention what the names in parentheses are - that's in reference to another aspect of the AU, called Code Bonding - which will get its own post after the species. BILBY PEARL. I go absolutely mad for bilbies.. SO NOW YOU PUT IT ON THE AUSTRALLIAN!?!

Bdubs- must. creature. And the absolute shortest! AND MUST HAVE PONY TAIL.. you get it? Cause- cause of the hor-*dies*

Impulse- Imp! But with gold schtuff

Skizz- this man is hairy. And a dove! I understand the Angel and Demon complimentary designs with those two but I just prefer bird. Also he skipped leg day.

Mumbo - one of the taller ones and thin! This man is such a wet cat I can picture him drawn as a disgruntled stick cat. He is more pathetic than soggy paper. /silly

Scar - He has leg hair and armpit hair a hundred percent. ALSO leg braces whenever possible!❤️

Ren- any dog that is medium or large, but not extra large like some mastiffs or Great Dane.

Jimmy and Martyn - I’m seriously leaning to just doing golden retrievers for them now.

Etho - arctic fox with his big puffy jacket! Maybe he has iron on patches of the mother land and Heinz beans?

Joel - Definitely a tanuki in hermitcraft X but everywhere else I’d say raccoon. (It makes no difference in my design)

Cleo - clearly a zombie, But you need some freaking cool eyes for her, she deserves it.

Doc - we need that goat body on that man. AND HIS MECH EYE IS A GOAT EYE!!!

Zed - sheep. Don’t even.

Big B- I’m really thinking Newfoundland dog for him ngl. He’s just chill like that and then HE CAN DIG MORE HOLES. but definitely creaking for wild life

Joe - he needs his mullet and glasses. DO NOT PLAY WITH ME. And juppet dearly beloved ❤️ he’s so silly.

Update; I got back into working on charms today!

I had a busy last week or two and hadn’t really had a chance or the energy to start drawing this once since i finished Ayda, for reasons that frankly are a bit boring to go into detail about here, but I’m excited to get back into the swing of things now!

I’m really quite happy with his wings so far, i think i figured out a good method for drawing them >:3

I feel like there is untapped potential in the fact that I've made Hermitcraft cannon to my AU, and yet I have not talked about any of the non-Lifer hermits. Cub deserves some attention. Doc deserves some attention. False and Xisuma and Zedaph and Jevin, they ALL should get some attention.

some context: i’ve seen every single grian hermitcraft episode and am very normal about him. i ship him with a few people (namely scar, mumbo, and doc) and i like the idea of him being romantically involved with other hermits/lifers, but a new love interest has recently entered the ring

i started watching zedaph a while ago, starting with hc10, then 9, then 8, and i’m currently on 7 (watching them backwards because Gimick) and literally. every. single. time. he interacts with grian. i go FERAL. in season 8, grian stops by zed’s lab one single time to drop off some block he needed (can’t remember what it was). the entire interaction was through a glass wall, no voice chat, and lasted barely 30 seconds before grian flew off because zed kept trying to give him more diamonds. the entire time, i was grinning and giggling and hand flapping and just

i thought i was normal about scarian, but this is just something else. i haven’t gotten to the season 7 hcbbs yet when they swap bases for a while but i am so excited for it

they swapped bases, and then swapped back, but i swear to you that they never truly left each others’ space. they took turns sleeping over, whenever one of them was bored, he would go to the other’s base to bother him. zed preens grian’s wings and grian helps with zed’s wool. zed organises grian’s stuff whenever the chest monster gets even just a bit too big. grian has taken it upon himself to find a way to break every single one of zed’s contraptions

i need them to interact more, i swear to the fucking void
