problem with wanting to paint-- even in a sketchbook you try to carry with you all the time-- is that SO often the thing that specifically makes me go 'ooohh maybe I should paint that' is a lighting condition that has changed completely by the time I can even finish retrieving my supplies from my bag

#usually the sky doing Something #today it was the sunlight coming through the window and shining through the mini bottle of fireball I got in my stocking last night #and then left on the counter #'sunlight exists' is GENERALLY! NOT! so ephemeral as specific lighting and color in for example the sky in the evening #which keeps changing very quickly #but in this case the sun went behind a cloud and then I looked out the window and it was completely overcast 😭#life painting is not a reactive game I fear #terrible news for my adhd ass #like the good news about 'sunlight coming through at an angle' is that the sun's gonna be at that angle for awhile yet #so I could try again a different day if it's sunnier #bad news is now we're talking about Planning Ahead and then Following Through and oooouuughhhh #about me

a ceramics project I completed last month. our assignment was to create shoe sculptures, and we were allowed to get wild with it, so i decided to design a G-Mod/Source Engine error themed one. the checker print was meant to be a vivid magenta, but it became more of a dark grape when it was fired in the kiln.

Papercraft Ed! I had the sketch for this one finished a while ago, but for whatever reason didn’t feel quite happy with it. Eventually I tried flipping it to face the opposite way - meaning his automail arm was now facing the viewer and could be shown via rips in his clothes and gloves - and then BAM, I liked how it looked after all! Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make all the difference.

#...right- LOL #I was so scared of losing anyone I pretty much only summoned Yurgir!#ok let me ramble about this fight in the tags #I.....listen. Listen. I love this game with my entire heart. It's one of my favorite games of all time.#.....the final battle took me out of it a little bit ngjfkdlnshjk #It introduced a bunch of new mechanics and maybe I'm dumb but it felt like it wasn't super clear how everything worked #First I restarted it because I dropped a globe of invuln on the starting area thinking Orpheus could just activate the stones from that far #Then I restarted it bc I basically ran out of time on the rounds...except I didn't realize the fight would continue since every other-#-turn-based round counter was usually a game over #THEN I actually summoned the flaming fist to help clean up right at the end which made the camera SUPER confused when I went in the portal #It was a mess.#I still give the game an 11/10 tho lmao #Oh also Orpheus did something - I don't know what - and then the dragon just died with 120hp left. So. anyone got any recommendations for protein drinks that actually, y'know... taste good? Ensure is ass, tried Premier which I was told was leagues better but I think it's just the Kyle's gaslighting themselves for gains because it's barely much better lmao I'm not even going for gains here, I just need something akin to a meal supplement with protein so that I can get my meds to work in the morning, the only thing that makes me gag harder than drinking this shit is trying to eat within the first two hours of waking up so something in liquid form that won't trigger my gag reflex would be nice 💀
