I have seen some posts speculating about the nature of Adar and Sauron's relationship and I would like to throw my own hat into the ring...
I'm reading Daddy Issues. When I see Adar's rage at Sauron, his monologues and surprisingly earnest fashioning of himself as the "father" of the Uruk/Orcs, I see someone who is raging against what they see as a failed father. I speculate that is because Sauron actually fashioned himself as the "father" first.
But he was a bad one.
Sauron participated in the experiments that created the orcs with Morgoth. Adar also says he sacrificed many more orcs to further experiments for Sauron in his conversation with Galadriel in season one, which I presume is referencing the location she found in episode one. Then there's the flashback where Sauron tries to gather an orc army he's clearly disgusted by for yet another war and Adar has enough, finally just stabbing the guy, leading the orcs against him. Sauron in that scene is more like a dictator, but one might argue a narcissistic father.
Then we have that conversation between "Halbrand" and Adar in season 2, where he recounts Sauron offering him wine after being left on a peak seemingly for dead. Adar speaks about it with such intense bitterness as he attempts to get Halbrand- unknowingly Sauron himself- to tell him where Sauron is so he can finally kill him. The Sauron he describes is working for Morgoth, it sounds like. The thirteen were tortured, and then Sauron was sent in with the pretty face and wine to play Nice Cop and win them back over with his silver tongue. It worked. And the tragedy is, you can tell Adar sees it now, that he was manipulated and resents it, but you can also see that single tear from Sauron. This is one of those rare occasions he feels remorse.
But at any rate, I think Sauron was assigned the role of "Orc Dad" by Morgoth and more or less tried to keep it (even though he may not have even liked the idea of orcs/their creation) because it was useful to him, but Adar stepped up and usurped it successfully because he saw that they actually needed it. A real home, a real leader, a real parental figure who saw them as living beings deserving of existence, respect, and even love.
I think the two of them are an extremely rich text.

Sir?
An Adam x Reader Fic
A.N. - This one is going to be kinda rough. I’ve been wanting to make something about Episode 8 for so long and I found the BEST inspiration during my history class. I’m really hoping this goes well ‘cause angst is kinda hard for me to write. Enjoy, my dears
Cw: Descriptions of blood, stab wounds, and overall harsh injuries / Descriptions of multiple deaths / Derogatory name for Charlie
Adam bleeding out on the battlefield.
To be an Exorcist required a few things: being harsh, unfeeling, ruthless, and ‘badass’. The last part was added by Adam himself.
It required being able to kill off the sinner scum and protect Heaven. There was no need to worry about them fighting back. They can’t. It’s not possible. It shouldn’t be.
So why the Hell was the Hotel’s grounds littered with red and golden blood? Only angels bleed gold. Only angels have angelic steel. But, somehow, these vermin got their hands on it. And now multiple angels have fallen, some injured. Callie was surrounded by cannibals, Mia lay crumpled and left for dead, Alex was hung on a wall with a spear through his shoulder, and even Lute was missing an arm.
All because little Miss Princess couldn’t take no for an answer.
Then there was Adam. The first man, the leader of the Exorcists, and a close friend. ‘Friend’ was rather inappropriate considering everything you’d gone through together. Being one of the few people to ever see his face spoke volumes of how much he respected and cared for you.
He was an asshole: rude, misogynistic, blunt, aggressive, egotistical, and overall a huge prick. It was obvious why his two wives left him. He seemed to care only for himself. The definition of a red flag.
And yet, he wasn’t like that anymore. Well, he was, but not as bad. Everyone noticed. Somehow, at some point, he started to care about you. At first, he hardly noticed. You were just a cool person that didn’t put up with his shit. You were hot. And fun. And patient. And safe…
And then he realized. He was fucked. He promised himself he wouldn’t let that happen again. Not after the last person ruined everything because she wasn’t satisfied with paradise. But no matter how hard he tried, you just wouldn’t leave and damnit it made it worse.
Now he felt anxious when he didn’t see you amongst the others. The chaos was making everything so much harder. Where were you? Were you okay? Did they get you? Are you safe? He absently shot a pack of sinners as he frantically flew around, looking for you. Then a flash of your mask caught his eye. You were by the dumbass hotel shits and that clit-licker that started it all.
He landed behind you, “The fuck are you doing?” He aggressively grabbed your shoulders, looking you over for any injuries, “I told you not to-”
“Take them head on, I know. But I’m not some weakling, Adam. I-”
“You don’t fucking get it, bitch. I- I just…” he hesitated. You knew. He knew you knew.
A pause.
“Okay.”
“Okay?”
You sighed, putting a hand over the one on your shoulder, “Okay. Just… don’t-“
You both paused at a pained groan and a small giggle. Looking down, you saw gold trickling down his chest and a small, pink bug holding a knife.
It took too long to react, but you pulled him to you, kicking the creature back. He was shaky, clinging onto your back from the shock, “Shit.”
You could hear cheering from Charlie and the supposedly redeemable sinners.
“Adam, you grabbed his face, “Adam, look at me.”
How could they preach about redemption when they’re willing to kill someone for not agreeing with them?
He coughed harshly as you held him up, only for him to spew out golden blood. He leaned into you, clutching his stomach. “I got you,” she held him closer, “I got you, I got you, I got you.”
Someone walked closer, “He’s done for, ‘sweetheart’. Take your-”
A sharp glare shut him up.
———
“Two weeks?”
They nodded, “We’re guessing. He lost a lot of blood, you have to understand that-”
“I get that,” a sigh, “just… take care of him.”
Please.

Okay so I know they aren't the most popular characters, likely due to not much being known about them, but I genuinely think there was some real potential and mystery in both Felix and Vallory's backstories.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To start with we know that Felix was extremely smart, being able to bypass Hyperion's biometric security, hack into their systems and change his information, and made one of a kind things like Fiona's elemental derringer (or Sasha's healing pocket watch before it got retconned to be that stupid crystal). He was crafty, he was intelligent, and there was some mystery in his backstory teased in Tales.
The first time we find out that he had a past Fiona and Sasha didn't know about is in Hollowpoint, when Fiona finds a picture of a younger Felix with a woman that neither her nor Sasha recognise, but with Fiona remarking that they seem happy.
Tumblr media
It's surrounded by multiple empty bottles, and since neither of the girls have ever seen the photo before it's fairly easy to assume it brings up painful memories. The photo has a crease down the middle which would probably indicate that it was something he carried around with him, folded up in his pocket instead of just being hidden away in a drawer somewhere.
Now there's a chance it could be a younger Vallory sure but considering how it's never elaborated on I don't think that's something that can be said for certain. Either way the pair are dressed in outfits that seem similar to each other, which would probably mean that they weren't just emotionally close with each other but probably worked together as well.
Now regardless of whether or not that woman in the picture is Vallory, we know that Felix and Vallory DID have prior history together. He clearly is afraid of what she can do, she's been well aware of both Fiona and Sasha for most of their lives despite them never hearing about her before which would likely indicate she'd been keeping tabs on Felix. On the contrary, Felix was completely unaware of what was going on in Vallory's life, that August was her son until the vault key deal was already in progress, which would mean he likely wanted absolutely nothing to do with Vallory and tried to stay far out of her life, potentially even trying to hide from her to protect both himself and Fiona and Sasha.
---------------------------------
Now then, onto Vallory. Vallory is introduced as the Queenpin, she's a feared crime boss that has some connections at Hyperion and plenty of bandits at her disposal. She's tactical and cruel and is one of the main antagonists for the Tales crew.
Regarding her relationship to Felix, she clearly holds a grudge against him for some prior reason that isn't explained. Sure she's mad about the vault key deal but she goes out of her way to tear Felix out of the photo she finds of him, Fiona, and Sasha.
Tumblr media
She also seems to focus far more on Fiona, directing her questions at her, taunting her, and referring to her as the leader of the Tales group. She's callous and cruel and can stab either Sasha or Vaughn to deliberately to fuck with Fiona and make her agree to her terms.
She has connections at Hyperion. At first it seems like it's just Vasquez she knows but then Finch is able to walk around Helios freely without having to blend in so it seems likely she has more. When this started it isn't clear, whether it was while Jack was alive or after his death. We know Hyperion had dealings with some criminals on Pandora before, like with turning people over for experimentation, so it's possible she had a hand in that or something similar.
But where I think it gets really interesting is when Fiona confronts her during episode 5. While talking about the Traveller she says "it's bigger than any I've ever seen" which would seemingly point to her being someone involved with vault hunting in the past or at the very least involved with someone else who was vault hunting. Sure she could have seen the Warrior from a distance when Jack awakened it but that's not really enough to mention the Traveller being bigger than any vault monster she's ever seen.
That's not to say I think she was a successful vault hunter or anything, but maybe that she was someone who was able to attempt it and get pretty far, or was allies with someone else that did.
Aside from that Athena seemingly knows her, and Vallory was more than willing to fight Athena before August stopped her. Vallory isn't stupid, she sends in her goons to do her dirty work when she doesn't want to get involved. For her to be willing to fight a literal assassin/vault hunter, even if it was impulsively, she must have some kind of confidence that she could actually get somewhere with that.
Hell she even has the ability to contact the Crimson Raiders and enlist the help of Mordecai and Brick to take out Athena, sure they needed to get her for Lilith but the fact that Vallory even knew that they were going after her and implies that she has some idea of why is impressive.
Tumblr media
All in all I think that those two were really interesting characters and I wish we would've gotten more lore about them, why they knew each other, what they did before, and what exactly was going on between them.

Sorryyyyyy I’ve been listening to the TPN S2 OST
I’m not even that much of a sound design enthusiast in general but I’m reading the goldy pond arc and I’m in absolute MOURNING just thinking about what we could have had (DO YOU KNOW HOW BADLY I WANTED TO SEE AN 11 YEAR OLD PUNCH HER FUTURE FATHER FIGURE IN THE BALLS???!?!????!)
Muijika’s theme fits her so perfectly I’m thinking about the other characters having their own
Would Yuugo’s be discordant at the beginning? Would that part play during his mental breakdown and fade out when he passes out? Would it get more orchestral and similar to Emma’s as it goes on? Would it be victorious and notable before you ever see the camera pan up to a smoking rooftop after he breaks leuvis’ds mask? Would it synchronize with Ray because he’s on the rooftop with him??
Would his theme reference tea parties? Would it get more hopeful by the time it gets back to the bunker?? Symbolising that he accepts his new family??? WOULD IT BE IN TUNE WITH NAT’S COOL KING BALLAD?? WOULD IT PLAY WHEN EMMA WAKES UP FROM HER COMA??
Would it be complementary Lucas’s??Would they harmonize when they finally see each other again???
Would Oliver’s theme be similar to Emma’s to symbolize being leaders of their respective groups? Would it mirror Ray’s when he asks to be left behind???
Would the techno themes be more present whenever minerva is mentioned to foreshadow their technology being more advanced than anything they have had before (like in the testing rooms?)
WOULD THE MUSIC THAT PLAYS WHEN GOLDY POND IS PREPARING MIRROR THE TRAINING MUSIC THAT PLAYED FOR THE GRACE FIELD KIDS???
When Emma throws the axe at Luce would you be able to hear it slice through the air? The billow of Leuvis’s ridiculously dramatic cape? Could you hear the children breathing heavily as they run away? Would you only be able to hear jake, monica and theo’s running because violet and emma are used to hiding their footsteps????
Would Emma and Ray’s footsteps in the forest get softer and softer the more they learn and watch from yuugo?? WOULD THEIR FEET NOT CLICK ON THE CONCRETE??
Would Nous talk in an overlap with Nouma’s voice after he eats her? Would Nous’s scream of outrage be good enough voice acting to rival emma’s iconic scream from the first episode?? Would it sound so viscerally human for a moment you feel bad for them??
Would you hear rustles in the trees despite nous and noma aren’t moving to foreshadow paula and violet getting into sniping position??
Would the snap of the wires they set up for traps sound different when they spring them depending on how dangerous they are?
WOULD THE MUSIC THAT PLAYS WHEN THE MONSTERS ARE COMING BE LIKE SIRENS OR A DISTORTED/EERIE CHEERFUL VIBE??
Would the guns nigel specifically engineered have a different sound compared to regular bullets? Would Emma’s flash bullet have a shrill sound that freezes everything as the bullet hits leuvis in slow motion?
DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE ROTATING CAMERA ANGLES I WANTED TO SEE!!! UTILIZING THE POV SHOTS FROM THE FIRST SEASON ONLY THIS TIME ITS THE DEMONS BEING WATCHED!!?!??!
Would the scene when Emma gets stabbed and goes into an underwater dream state have more muffled music (maybe a mix of her own theme, Norman’s and Isabella’s lullaby) that gets louder and clearer the more she regains conciousness?
These are all incredibly specific and unrealistic expectations but I think I deserve to be a little delusional when it comes to this show
I’d love to hear any sounds you also would have loved to hear in tpn Season 2 (done right)!!!!

A Theory We Have About Adam and Lute’s Glitching Masks in Season 1; Episode 8.
None of this is technically true other than what we know of sinners can’t go to the other rings in Hell; they can most likely still only go and stay at the Pride ring.
In Hazbin Hotel s1/e8, when Lute stabbed Dazzle and left him to bleed out and Adam was strangling Charlie, almost killing her, their masks glitched for a minute.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
How the theory we have goes is our favorite boy Lucifer went to Heaven either before or after the first extermination so he can settle a deal with Heaven but specifically with Sera, Adam and Lute.
Making it so they only have access to the Pride ring, aka Lucifer’s ring and they can only exterminate if they don’t kill any hellborn. We see hellborn all throughout Helluva Boss and somewhat in the actual series of Hazbin Hotel. Like all of the cast of Helluva Boss and Razzle, Dazzle, KeeKee and Fat Nuggets in Hazbin. He had to say ‘not hellborn but sinners are fine I guess’ because Heaven wouldn’t take the extermination just not happening. It’s the only option they’d listen to. They get to kill sinners to deal with what they want to deal with, they touch a spear/just try to kill a hellborn for a millisecond, the deal is broken and Lucifer can come in and slaughter them and then it’s full out war between Heaven and Hell. Since Lucifer’s power is really close to God’s, he’s the leader of Hell, no exorcist is stronger than him. Adam comes close to Lucifer’s power but nope. Dead.
Anyway, back to the glitching masks. The exorcists masks start to glitch as a warning in telling them that they’ve gone too far because they killed a hellborn or are about to kill a hellborn. Now Lucifer can come in and kill them if he wants to and they caused a full out war between Heaven and Hell.
Once Lute stabbed Dazzle and after bleeding out, Dazzle died and Adam tried to kill Charlie because she’s technically a hellborn but not because she was born in Hell between Lucifer and Lilith, they’ve caused a war.
Or the deal was, if they tried to kill Charlie and the other people of hell that aren’t sinners, they’ve caused a war. It’s one of those things, but we kind of believe the top thing more, but either way, something’s up with the glitching because it doesn’t make sense unless you really think about the possibilities.
Again, these are just theories, none of us truly know what the reasoning is, not even the VAs, just the people who made the show for us to watch. If you wish to put what you think in, you can, just be respectful, that’s all I ask.
Thank you! Have an amazing day, my girls, guys and non-binary they’s!

Spoilers for Pokemon Horizons Episode 67 below:
So the battle between Liko and Roy was fantastic, it showed off how both of them have progressed as trainers and how much they've bonded with their pokemon. The fight choreography was great, Floragato learning Feignt by accident and Fuecoco evolving were both hype, and the pacing was tight with excellent animation. Like, this is how you script and direct animated pokemon battles.
However, I'm still a bit bitter about the outcome of the match.
Narratively, it fits and shows their character growth. This is Liko's first real loss that she takes without it having a massive emotional impact on her, and now that Roy has started fighting strategically instead of move spamming it makes sense that he's gotten much better at battling. The latter is especially important given his goal is to battle the Shiny Rayquaza.
It also makes sense from a more meta narrative too: Roy was the only one with an evolved starter so it makes sense Fuecoco evolves now and it makes sense that he goes on to win the battle after. Not evolving Fuecoco would've either resulted in Roy stagnating, or Fuecoco just becoming too strong to be believable anymore. They could've turned it into a subplot where Roy is concerned Fuecoco hasn't evolved when Quaxly and Sprigatito both did. But no other pokemon has gotten that level of concern regarding evolution and Roy isn't the kind of character to get hung up on a detail like that so it definitely would've felt forced. This was the right time for him to evolve and I kind of expected it going into the episode.
So why do I feel bitter about the battle's outcome if everything about it makes sense and it met my expectations for the episode?
Because Liko deserves a break.
Seeiously, she has been fighting uphill for this entire arc with nearly every battle putting her at a heavy disadvantage in either typing or level. Her basics test? Yeah throw her at the Bug type gym leader, her only two pokemon are Grass and Psychic which are both weak to Bug. Her double battle against Rika? Yeah have her go up against the one Poison type on Rika's team (This one is slightly less egregious than everything else because the Clodsire does lose its stab poision damage and Katy is helping for the first half, but still). Her implementation test? Yeah, send her to the Ice type gym leader who's pokemon are at minimum 5-10 levels higher than hers, don't worry about the fact that both of his pokemon are super effective against her main too (Ice and Flying both beat Grass). She has to confront the Explores on her own? Have her run into Amethio and his Fire/Ghost Ceruledge that can counter both of her pokemon. She has a climactic battle with one of her friends in the finale? Yeah pit her against the one with the Fire main and Flying second (Which has paralysis moves to cut down Floragato's agility). Oh, and for funsies, give Liko the other disadvantage of her second pokemon only really start battling this arc, so she doesn't have the time to get a good sense of how she battles until it's too late.
Seriously, the only battle in this arc that I can think of where Liko had at least a type advantage was against the Garganacle. Even then she was battling against someone trying to take her out instead of someone battling for fun.
Meanwhile, Roy more often than not gets type advantages, and Dot's arc focuses almost entirely on her character outside of battle so it doesn't really matter if she wins or loses because either one works. It's like the writers are intentionally putting Liko at a major disadvantage because she's genuinely become a really good trainer, but the plot demands she keeps losing for character development.
Seriously, the level of strategy and competency she showed in her fight against Grusha should've gotten her a passing grade. It would've gotten her a passing grade from any other gym leader, heck she probably could've beaten most of the other gym leaders. But instead the narrative keeps beating her down so she has a valid reason to have low self esteem instead of letting her have some wins to give her a better sense of self confidence. Like, Roy failed his first try at the implementation test because he needed something to deeply rattle him to bring about a change in his fighting style. That's an example of a loss being effective for character growth. But with Liko? It's like she's not allowed to see the progress she's made until the second to last episode of the arc, and in the finale she gets shown up by Fuecoco evolving.
The only real saving grace of the battle's outcome is Geeta and Rika reaction. They recognize that Liko has the skill to take on the Champion track and seem completely unbothered by the fact she lost to Roy. That means they probably realized all of what I said above, and came to the conclusion that if Liko's this good working against these kinds of disadvantages then she'd be incredibly strong once she levels up some more or catches a full team. If that's true, it would explain why they didn't have the same talk with Roy since he's largely had an advantage in most of his battles.
Ideally, I'd end this fight in a tie. Have them knock each other out at the same time to establish that they're on even footing, and they both get the benefit of technically not losing. This ending would also build tension for their inevitable rematch.
I really hope the next arc gives Liko some more wins because she really needs it. At this point in her character arc having her continue to lose and deal self esteem issues would just mean she's stagnating. They need to have something more substantial to show her growth, especially since one of her main character flaws before this arc was her letting other people win when she could've beaten them. You can't just tell us she's talented, then show us she's talented, and then keep making her lose unfair fights so you can drag out her self esteem issues longer. She doesn't have to win every fight but she should at least be able to show off in a fair fight every once in a while.

oh I am interested to ask if you had any spoilers when reading/watching mdzs the first time? especially did you already know _the thing_ with nie huaisang like you did with junwu or not?
also as I already said I really love your art your style is absolutely perfect >>>>>
Okay second query first THANK YOUUUUU I am so . Ahwhwhdhegegeg ;w; tht my Images are well received in the world
And first query second: I didn't! I went into CQL pretty much entirely blind –and really bc I knew it was in Mandarin and my friends were doing a watch party so I was like Oh I'll hang out and get some listening practice in! – and I had some REALLY good experiences for it. I did not even suspect the Thing with NHS and the friends I was watch partying with had a BLAST about this it was so funny reading the thread rewatchers were talking in after we finished the series bc I immediately LIKED NHS and I was going Omg yay NHS my perfect meetup boy right up until the Reveal during which I was like OH MY GOD???? MY PERFECT MEETUP BOY!!!!!!! and by god I've been Xiyao posting too much I need to NHS post again I love that guy so MUCH he's a solid favorite character contender and the first I recognized
The only thing I was ~spoiled on was Meng Yao getting a new name bc one of my friends slipped up and called him JGY once and I saw it before they edited the message, and that's only a spoiler in CQL (though tbh I prefer the pacing of how CQL introduces you to JGY, hot take; it's probably in solid part because I was show-first and am just biased toward the thing I knew first, but also the thing is . It was SO fun to meet and get attached to Meng Yao and then see him do more and more fucked up things and go UM . WHAT THE FUCK. literally Lan Xichen simulator)
More fun things from watching CQL blind
I fully bought the core misdirection, in part because I was kind of confused as to what was going on the whole time
When we started I was like "this is fun and charming! I like these characters and such I'm interested in seeing where this goes, though this isn't Seizing me like a new Thing or like Hannibal did it's not lifechanging" And then we got to Lotus Pier arc, and for like three days of episodes in a row (we would watch 2 eps a day) I cried every single time, and then I was like HEY GUYS... I THINK THIS IS LIFE CHANGING NOW
When we finally got out of the time skip I did some speculation as to who died and in fact called that it was Nie Mingjue because in terms of status quo changes "NHS is sect leader now" would function and give NHS something to do that he didn't have otherwise and NMJ was the most narratively killable
After WWX got stabbed at Carp Tower I was genuinely very afraid for a second that she was going to actually die for real, and my friends were like THIS IS A ROMANCE THEY HAVEN'T EVEN CONFESSED?? and I was like YEAH BUT WHAT IF THEY FINALLY CONFESS AND SHE SUCCUMBS TO HER INJURIES IN LWJ'S ARMS OR SOMETHING!!! IT'S SAD AND I'M SCARED??? and had to be assured that it's in fact not the kind of romance where Anyone Can Die™ and happy ending for the main couple is genre guaranteed. But there's a canon divergence idea for you
Before we watched the finale I speculated FURIOUSLY as to who was going to die. Hang on lemme get screenshots
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also remember saying something along the lines of specifically "I'm scared that Jin Guangyao is going to merc Lan Xichen and NO ONE is going to be happy about that, least of all Jin Guangyao" but I can't find it. Kind of yuri of absence about the actual Xiyao ending. Sorry I'm frenzying I just checked the clock and I have an hour to eat breakfast before we watch the finale

Cooking up some new oc’s rn…
these guys are called ‘the oversees!’
Tumblr media
Set in the 1920s - 1940s these guys are clones of real criminals that got put on death row and whose DNA was used to make these guys! They don’t exist to the government anymore and don’t even die!(This is inspired by tf2!)
their jobs are to kill off anyone that ‘The Boss’ wants dead and keep The Great Depression in the city running, working behind the scenes to make sure everything goes accord to plan. Whatever the hell that is, all they know is three simple things:
kill off cunts
don’t get caught
keep the depression running
they don’t have names, only numbers (as shown above their heads). None remember their past or real lives :(
Number One is the leader of the gang, the prototype, and the first clone. Though unlike the others he was reborn in the lab, his entire ‘childhood’ being filled with experiments and trained to kill others.
he’s the least enthusiastic to be put into this job to hurt others for a reason he doesn’t even know, having to put up with the other’s shenanigans isn’t easy. This guy smokes three packs a day..
he wishes he wasn’t reborn as a stupid clone, he wonders what his real life is like..
he lost his eye in a experiment gone wrong in his earlier years, lies about how he got it every time someone asks
Number Two was the second made and even helped make the other two of the group, he’s the brains, doctor and the go to guy when it comes to torturing info out of others!
He doesn’t particularly care for the others or his real past, he tracked down his real family and killed them off
he lost his eye when his daughter stabbed him in the eye before he killed her
Number Three is the craziest one of the bunch, she’s the best with weapons and could kill ten men with only a ballpoint pen. She’s often paired up with Number Four since they get along so well, but she isn’t afraid to rough herself on these missions to pay a visit to the doctor <3
she has manic episodes she can’t control and only then has meltdowns over her existence and her real life, but after that returns to her bubbly crazy self!
she lost her eye on the first day on the job, getting shot in the head. This was before they found out a way to come back from the dead and heal tall their wounds
Number Four is the muscle of the group, and while not the smartest he’s damn good at his job. He doesn’t talk much to anyone but Number Three and doesn’t follow the rules much, he hates the suits everyone has to wear…
he suffers from schizophrenia and delusions, he believes he has a perfect life, family and wife back at ‘home’. He’s just away at work! After all the long long work he’ll be back home. Right? Right.
he lost his eye when a grenade was thrown at him, luckily they could heal him a lot more then any other hospital could but there was still some mental and physical damage.

My thoughts on s2ep8 “Shadow and Flame”
my hands are actually shaking as I write this
why does the recap alone already make me so emotional…
alright, already the first visual we get of golden light in a dark tunnel is freaking beautiful
wait, so king Durin really fought off all these dwarves by himself? wow (but I’m glad Disa stayed unharmed)
Disa and Durin kiss!!! yay!
ok, king Durin looks actually really scary and possessed by the ring (its a bit weird that he went so coockoo after only a month or two (?) in possession of the ring, but I know its not the writers fault but the simple fact that shows nowadays are only allowed 8 ep per season and you can do only so much in that time)
was not a fan of the Balrog appearing so early in the show, but its design is freaking awesome
not king Durin taking of the ring to protect his son… 😢
SHUT UP ALL YOU HATERS, THIS IS PHENOMENAL! THE WRITING, THE MUSIC, THE VISUALS- I´M ABSOLUTELY SOBBING!!!!!! 😭
good that we have the intro back this episode, because I need a minute after that opening scene…
now back to the Stoor village
“Manwe promised you would come”- not me having recently finished Unfinished Tales and learning that it was Manwe who urged an reluctant Gandalf to join the wizards in fighting Sauron´s rise to power, omg
not really on board with the theory that the Dark Wizard might be Saruman, but maybe if its true they could make it work…?
the White Tree of Numenor in a golden light… I know I’m repeating myself but THIS SHOW IS GORGEOUS
Pharazon framing Miriel of working with Sauron is kinda brilliant (but also disgusting)
the prosecution of the Faithful becomes serious (do you now see what you started Eärien? Yeah, now you’re scared for your father?)
again, the music while the Tree is “crying”, omg
Elendil recievess Narsil from Miriel and I´m crying
now back to Eregion, I’m sure everything is fine here
Yes! Galadriel helping evacuate the survivors!!!!!!
and she’s captured again (at least the other female elves are spared)
no... blood on stone floors… I’m not ready 😩
Sauron just casually shooting arrows into a blood covered Celebrimbor, while still playing the “look what you made me do, dear friend” card…
mention of Gondolin!
Brimby, I can’t, you are the hero we should all aspire to be, omg, you deserved so much better
“But the Rings are beyond your reach. As I should be ere long, for soon I shall go to the shores of the Morning, borne hence by I wind you can never follow!” Badass Brimby
“No, hear me. Hear me! Shadow of Morgoth. Hear the dying words of Celebrimbor. The Rings of Power shall destroy you. And in the end, I foresee one alone shall prove your utter ruin!” OMG
“You are wrong! I am their creator. I AM THEIR MASTER!” “No. You are their prisoner, Sauron, Lord of the Rings.” SHUT UP, CELEBRIMBOR IS THE GREATEST CHARACTER THIS SEASON, AND CHARLES EDWARDS DESERVES ALL THE AWARDS!!!!!!
Celebrinbor´s words and death bringing genuine tears to Sauron´s eyes, omg
I guess we kinda got the Brimby-banner with Celebrimbor impaled into the air on a spear…?
And Sauron is already sauroning with Glüg and the orcs- sorry, uruk
Lol, glad for the bit of humour from Theo and Isildur after everything up till now, love their brotherly bond!
also, Estrid and Isildur kiss!!!!
oh, nice, Kemen is placed in charge of Pelegir, completely dismissing Theo as their leader
did I already mention that I hate Kemen?
back to the forests of Eregion- why is Adar kneeling face away like he is praying…?
… wait, Nenya on his HEALED hand, omg, omg, omg
“When last I looked like this, I was known by another name.” “What was it?” “A meaningless name. A name I was given. Adar is the name I earned.” - guys, there is now room to fully headcanon him as Maeglin and I will do it!
DID NOT SEE THIS COMING, wth?!!! Adar, no!!!!
The parallel of Adar being stabbed by the orc like Sauron was before…
“My children…” “They are no children anymore.” - dang, Sauron knows what’s up and how to use it
The Galadriel- Sauron confrontation is here and I’m not ready (also, Sauron immediately focused/in love with Nenya, completely ignoring Galadriel for a moment? Perfect characterisation)
“I do not wish to harm you.” “Do you wish to heal me?”- dang, what a burn girl
not Elrond ready to give his life to save the books and scrolls of Eregion 😭 (also, Arondir is alive!)
the sword-crown fight is pretty cool
Omg, Sauron fighting her while changing from Annatar, into Halbrand, into herself, then Celebrimbor is beyond brilliant writing- he is literary presenting himself as a mirror to her!!!!!
“I see you, I know your mind. The door is still open.” “The door is shut!” GIVE IT TO HIM GIRL
“I would have placed a crown upon your head.” says Sauron while he stabs her with his own crown
The dwarves came to help!!!!!!!
“You wish to heal Middle-earth? Heal yourself.” Now, if this isn’t the most badass equivalent to F-yourself then I don’t know what could be
Galadriel and her ring escape, Sauron is pissed and Glüg pays for it
Yay, Gil-Galad and his healing ring to save Galadriel! (Her “injury” of the body and soul reminds me of Eowyn in LotR)
Also, Elrond using her ring to help heal her after such disdain to the rings 😭
Poppy sharing wisdom Mr Burrows once gave her while we witness again the ruin and devastation that has just spread everywhere… 😭
the Stoors calling Stranger “Grand-Elf” because they don’t know the difference between giant, human and elf is literary how Gandalf came to his name in the books
Nori and Stranger taking separate ways is sad but also makes sense (I bet they will meet again)
Grand-elf found his staff!!!
“Gandalf. Thats what they are going to call me, isn’t it?” YES IT IS 🥰 (also, Tom and Gandalf simply sitting by the fire, drinking tea and singing is the most wholesome Tolkien thing ever)
Come let the song begin, let us sing together 🎶🥰
Alright, so the drama with the dwarves will continue next season with the Lords of the Blue Mountains as well as Durin´s brother staring up trouble
Gil-Galad dissing Galadriel moments after she wakes up from a terrible injury is how you show love to your family 😂
“What is this place?” “A sanctuary, protected by the Elven Rings.” Rivendell?
Galadriel para-quoting Celebrimbor´s speech about Light overcoming Darkness is my everything (also, this is definitely Rivendell!!!!)
Galadriel in a simple white tunic THE FUTURE WHITE LADY OF LOTLORIEN!!!!!
Also, Arondir, Galadriel, Gil-Galad and Elrond posing on the cliff overlooking a new sunrise is just epic
What do you mean I need to wait now two years agin for the next season? Although, for such quality its really worth it

princess tutu re-watch, episode 6
Fakir: "Mytho, please do not jump out of this open window. Also, put on some goddamn pants."
Mytho: "Fakir, I need help with my feelings."
Fakir: "YOU IDIOT, REAL MEN DON'T HAVE FEELINGS."
Ahiru brought the lamp spirit back to her dorm, just as I'd hoped! Day is made! I had completely forgotten about this plot point, but I am so here for it!
unfortunately, the lamp spirit only seems to be able to communicate in Morse code now, alas.
Ahiru Is Bi, confirmed!!
Neko-sensei wearing a Hawaiian shirt and sandals is not something I knew I needed, but here we are
oh man, it's the Takarazuka Revue a ballet troupe come to town, but we only see 3 people in it because budget, I guess.
the ballet troupe leader is an electrical eel in a tank. He also handles all of the lighting, natch. I think this is also a pun because the troupe's name is "Eleki" as in "electricity"??
okay, I want him and Lamp-chan to meet, I bet they'd have a lot to talk about.
this is the first big hint that Gold Crown Town really is different-- the troupe is our first glimpse of a "normal" world outside of that (with higher tech, too)
Paulamoni's husband Paulo really is the Area Man In Love With His Amazing Wife trope in human form
The Eleki Troupe has a sweet-ass tour bus
Edel having a stone named "the author's convenience" is a big hint that goes whooshing over Ahiru's head. Also I would like a whole bagful, please.
at least Neko-sensei is crushing on someone his own age this time?? unfortunately for him, she's happily married
later in life, Fakir will look back on that dance with Ahiru and think, "wow, I was such an asshole".
Ahiru doesn't seem to have control over her transformation into Princess Tutu--Drosselmeyer triggers it every time so far simply by saying her name
love how Princess Tutu simply doesn't believe in stairs
Fear Shard: "I don't want to go and you can't make me!" *tries to stab Tutu, but it backfires and he vanishes in a puff of a logic*
Mytho responds to getting his sense of fear back by having a full-out panic attack in the theater.
Ahiru: "I just wanted to make Mytho smile!" girl, what did you THINK would happen here
Drosselmeyer: "In my business, we call this 'dramatic irony'."
this episode ends before we see the troupe leave, so I guess we'll see if they're in the next episode or not, I only vaguely remember what happens next

Ranking Companions I've Seen So Far
(Because I can)
(Purely from memory so is possible I forgot someone)
(They are bulleted instead of numbered because there's a character limit for blocks and it restarted the numbering when I broke it up. They are, however, in order from favorite to least favorite)
Sarah Jane: She hides it under professional veneer, but she is autistic chaos personified. She has the most chances of anyone to just go home, and even when she claims to be fed up she always gets back in the tardis. She is high on adventure. She thinks the Doctor has died at least once per story, and for the first 3/4 of her run they never actually get to take a fun break from constant danger, and she is hooked. She eats an orange without peeling it. She met the Doctor because she snuck into a scientific conference to investigate disappearances and then walked right into the tardis to look for him. She had no trouble believing she'd moved in space and it took only the barest evidence to have her fully on board with time travel; I think she always half believed in magic. She's excellent at bluffing but only for very short periods. She's very much about the ends justifying the means and always a little confused when people are mad since everything turned out fine, which is very Doctor of her. And their dynamic really was silly best friends.
Leela: Everyone else was either kidnapped or invited along. She pushed the Doctor aside to invite herself, because she didn't want to have to stay home and be a leader (and she too craves adventure). She never completely understands what's happening, but she jumps into every situation fully anyway. And asks a ton of questions. And, once she's been taught about something, she maintains a good understanding of it (no one in-show acknowledges how smart she is and how hard she works to catch up from not having the same education as every other character). I enjoy how ready to stab and shoot people she is, and how often she winds up with guns no matter what the Doctor says. But she's also so genuine and protective and their bickering is sweet and she's best friends with the dog even before she's left alone on Gallifrey with no one who respects her but the dog. (The whole noble savage trope is problematic but I still enjoy a great deal of her character)
Donna: She's outspoken and best friends with the Doctor and no one has ever thought he was less hot. With her the dynamic really is just we're flying through time and space playing dress up. Her fear response is indignant anger. She's a temp who has been told by her mother her whole life that she's a failure, and she's the most important person in the universe. She has terrible self esteem but never lets that get in the way of speaking her mind. She loves and supports her trans daughter. She forgot it all for 15 years and then, married with a teenager, casually moved in with her old best friend.
Bill: Even when she couldn't go to college, she was so determined to learn that she just appeared in the Doctor's lectures and was excited when she didn't initially understand things. She was his student, and his friend, and once or twice his protector, but she never did the Clara thing of putting all her time into keeping track of the Doctor and protecting him from himself. On her first alien planet, robots that spoke emoji tried to kill her, and she still kept traveling. But she never gave up her life at home or her education, either. She had a gay crush in her first episode that she never even got to go on a date with, and then ended up spending eternity together as noncorporeal beings by the end. She helped rehabilitate the most evil Time Lord. She's iconic.
Romana I: She is the sheltered excellent grades autistic. She's so baby and innocent, but also knows more about what the Doctor is talking about than any other companion (and sometimes the Doctor). She can fly the tardis, because she read the manual. She plays dress up constantly but rarely in any sort of context appropriate to where they're going. She wanted to be called Fred. She literally can't lie to save either of their lives. She's charming and beautiful and capable, but might think she's even more capable than she actually is. She was horrified by what a failure of a Time Lord the Doctor was until she realized he was happy, and that that was an option.
Yaz: I love how she seems so normal and together, got involved by chance doing her job, but slowly it becomes clear that she was never ok and somehow this was the best thing that could have happened to her. She was kidnapped into this but instead of missing home she fell in love. She gets stuck on Earth without the Doctor twice and spent both times (1) pining and (2) taking charge to save the world. She talks like she knows what to do better than any other human in the room (and often does), but still works well on a team. She ran into a kid she'd vaguely known in elementary school and his step-grandfather and then ended up traveling with them for years and becoming best friends. She should not have been a cop, however, and would have made a better social worker.
Ryan: He can't ride a bike at 19 but has yet to give up trying. It doesn't come up as much as I'd like, but he is casually disabled. He has a temper, which sort of led to him allowing a murderous alien onto Earth, but he is also so full of compassion for every random person in need they meet. He actually had a life at home and, though he stayed willingly (after getting kidnapped), he struggled with missing his friends and the normality and comfort they represented. It took running around saving worlds to make him admit he should forge a familial bond with his dead grandma's husband. He also made up with his dad (he really did the opposite arc of starting with a strong family and pulling them apart when he left). He got to leave when he chose and be safe and happy, but never stopped trying to protect his world.
Jamie: He also never understands what is happening, but he's mostly fine with that. He's just happy to be along for the ride with the Doctor, being gay and Scottish throughout time and space, ready to stab people (he would have gotten along with Leela tbh). He's good at drawing connections between things he has no context for and the closest thing he understands, and I love it because my brain does that thing too of drawing comparisons to things I've seen. If the Time Lords didn't take his memories, he would have stayed with the Doctor until eventually dying for him.
Susan: She is sensitive and autistic and not cut out for so much drama. Sure, she understands what the Doctor is talking about, and she wasn't technically kidnapped, but she was happy pretending to be a human girl in 1963 and I don't think she ever particularly wanted to keep going adventuring. But she's still enthusiastic and outgoing and just doing her best. She sort of adopted Barbara as her weird protective aunt.
Clara: She was never a normal person. She is naturally manipulative, bossy, controlling, and a bit ruthless. She didn't use most of these traits overmuch until she met the Doctor, but they were there. Luckily, she also has a fairly strong moral compass, so she isn't really a horrible person. But watching a human person surprise the Doctor by out-Doctoring him is delightful. She is also addicted to the thrill and adventure of it all, and no matter how much she likes the idea of having a normal life on the side it could never compare. I don't think she'd have survived going back to a normal human existence like Sarah had to.
Zoe: "The Doctor is almost as smart as me." She is somehow a teenager and a space librarian with a perfectly normal education level for her time that makes her a genius nearly everywhere she goes. Important to note, she is also an actual genius. She helped fend off cybermen one time and got adopted by a gay alien and his historical boyfriend, both of whom are determined to protect her but both of whom are also considerably less competent than she is. She would never have gone home if she wasn't forced to.
Martha: She is one of the most normal people on this list: a hardworking medical student with a loving but mildly dysfunctional family. Her choice of one trip in the tardis after the hospital situation is actually a pretty normal one even: who would say no to a chance to time travel? But she makes herself extraordinary through pure kindness and determination. She's so full of caring, but won't put up with people walking all over her or allow any sort of cruelty. She is one of the only ones with the strength to leave when she needs to, to take care of herself, but even so she can't forget what she knows and abandon people and quickly ends up working for UNIT and then on her own to save and protect people.
Barbara: Omg she's so weird. She's a history teacher who gets to travel through history, and is understandably delighted and horrified by this. But her response to being concerned for a student and unable to contact her family was to stalk this child to her home and then into a police box in a junkyard; it's kind of her own fault she got kidnapped, though the throughout time and space part was unpredictable. She saw an autistic alien teenager and realized no one else was going to parent her, so took that responsibility upon herself. Despite never stopping trying to get home (and eventually taking a great risk to do so), she really was delighted by so much of what they ran across. She is one of four people who know that the Doctor's manipulative curiosity is responsible for the daleks threatening the universe. She's so great.
Jo: Assigned companion because no one knew what to do with her, not even really liked by the Doctor at first, but threw her entire self enthusiastically into the job. She did not believe the Doctor could travel through time and space and really thought it was just a quirk that he was always trying to fix his time machine, but she liked him anyway. I'm not convinced she believed he was an alien, either, or knew enough about science to realize (at first) that his was more advanced than it should have been. But she was happy to help, and to learn, and just generally be along for the ride.
Liz: Thought she was too smart to be working as the Doctor's assistant, and she was right. A proper scientist who absolutely understood that his science was alien and advanced, but also how ridiculous these situations were and wasn't afraid to challenge the science that shouldn't have made sense or refuse to believe something until she saw proof. Left, of her own choice, without anything horrible happening to her; a minor miracle! Also counts as a historical queer icon, even though technically that didn't come up in the show. It is canon and I like to imagine between the lines her life as a queer lady in the 70's.
Vicki: Not a genius by her time's standards, but her standard education makes her one almost wherever she goes. Left to her own devices stranded on a planet and orphaned, she adopted a giant alien creature as a pet and set up a routine for survival. Tried to go on a relaxing Roman vacation once and ended up poisoning Nero. Adventurous, clever, and easily bored: no wonder the Doctor liked her.
Victoria: The daughter of a scientist who couldn't care less about science. Orphaned by the daleks and immediately adopted by the weird gay alien and his boyfriend who was historical even to her. Later more permanently adopted by a very nice couple in a century she's not even from. She taught Jamie to read.
Ian: Ok, so stalking a teenager into a junkyard wasn't his idea, but he did go along with it. A science teacher who got to see futuristic space science, though I don't think he enjoyed a lot of it as much as Barbara did. He was a good practical balance for everyone else in the tardis, though.
Graham: He's so ordinary, in the best way. I love how consistently his job as a bus driver is plot relevant. He brings sandwiches because the Doctor can't be bothered to feed them regularly. He's down for adventure but also practical about it.
Ruby: She has such a fairytale quality. She loves her mom, she isn't running away from anything, but she sure is running. She's running around the universe playing dress up. And I suspect that with more time separation, she will start to seem less normal and well adjusted and weirder in her own way.
Dodo: I actually only saw her in like 2 serials because so many are missing, and her departure felt sort of forced, but I liked her. She was SO enthusiastic about everything, and had no intention of listening to anyone who told her what to do.
Dan: I like him fine, and although it wasn't for fun he did sort of choose to stay and then to leave when he was ready. He's not the most interesting, though.
Rose: She is my line between companions I like and companions I don't. She's both caring and imperfect in ways that can be fun, but she was a little too consistently mean to Mickey (and her mom) for my taste, and had a habit of worrying about her own enjoyment above all other concerns, at least when people weren't actively being killed. Was definitely addicted to the adventure. There's nothing strictly wrong with a character with any of these traits (except for writing in Mickey just to have him bullied constantly), but she's not really my thing. Still, she's mainly THIS low on the list because I'm tired of the fandom focus on shipping her with ten constantly and also smoothing out all of her flaws.
Steven: His backstory and initial appearance were so cool, and then his actual character was kind of a wet noodle.
Amy: Yes her backstory was interesting too, but she mostly could have bee replaced by a lamp and it would have made no difference.
Rory: Like Amy but worse; he could have been replaced by a hat on the lamp.
Harry: He did have a personality, and it was the wrong one. I don't even usually include him in my companion lists because I disliked him so much. 50% of his personality was being sexist to Sarah while she coped more competently than him, and the rest was just being annoying.

Yeah with how Amphibia handled its third Season with Marcy being stuffed in the fridge for Most of the Season and Sasha not having any episodes BEFORE Commander Anne again to see her bonding with the Frogs of Wartwood and seeing her grow significantly into the commander we see her a
I get the writers say they wanted to create “Tension” for the audience and Anne when we see her again but I feel that’s pretty stupid decision and they already kinda did a better job of that in Season 2 Sasha tbh.
"Marcy being stuffed in the fridge for most of the season" Why is that such a sad accurate summary of Marcy in S3- like the way S2 ends on the dramatic stabbing of Marcy and then gave us her in the intro for S3 where she's in a tank....ONLY TO DO ONLY ONE EPISODE WITH HER COMING OUT OF THE TANK AND GETTING POSSESSED?! And possessed her didnt even appear in many episodes either so like! Which also counts for wasting the big villain because apparently building up villains is not as important as backgrounders getting focus episodes...in the third season of all places.
Honestly, the tension thing is stupid for the audience because we already have seen her in one episode at least in first part of S3 go good mode, so how the fuck is it tension to be like has she actually changed??? Like was it really important to have a spider man parody episode instead of actually showing us Amphibia become a hell scape slowly, Sasha slowly leading the resistance as a leader/commander and Marcy either recovering or Darcy doing evil shit???

I feel like nat’s “I lost my purpose” line in the first episode makes SO much more sense now, learning she was made to be the leader in the wilderness and therefore (obviously) lost that role when they were rescued. I know this is not a hot take and people have made this connection ofc,,, I just think it’s insane and such good writing
do you think in season 1 the writers had planned her to be the antler queen??
she lost her PURPOSE. the GIRLS. she lost the GIRLS. the GIRLS were her PURPOSE 😭😭😭
seriously. that line hits so hard now. like. from the moment they found the gun, natalie's has been working nonstop to keep them safe, fed, alive, and now that she's "in charge" it's only about to get worse. she's really about to make these girls the entire purpose of her life and someday they'll be rescued and it's supposed to be the best thing that could happen to them, it's suppose to save them. and yet it's going to break natalie because she's going to lose her purpose and 25 years later she's still struggling!! and i might be reading too much into everything, but what if the moment she admits to lottie that they brought "it" back with them, and she becomes her teenage self in lottie's lap, what if that's her "reconnecting" with her old purpose/self? because since then we see natalie 1. getting better but also 2. acting a little unlike the natalie we've come to know. she wears the purple clothes (which she wore on that first scene when she talked about her purpose), she doesn't try to leave the compound anymore, she seems so excited to have the others join them, she wants to help them all over again... but she doesn't want to go through the hunt and she says they got over it but did they? did she? wasn't she about to stab lottie when lisa showed up? and wasn't that to protect shauna? i don't know!!! but there's a lot to think about!!!
and yes, i definitely think they had planned this! by now i'm a firm believer in the theory that all of them will be "antler queen" at some point. i don't know if the order of the events was decided post s1, but i think they knew they were going to do this at some point. plus just seeing that parallel shot of the first time we see nat + adult lottie before being reunited with all the adults... yeah this shit is on purpose

rant for 1x09 cause I gotta but under cut since I’m sure I’ll get hate
I really don’t get the O.ctavia and F/inn point here especially at the end of the episode. Yes, Jasper shot first but he didn’t make up the grounders in the trees-they were there and let’s not mention the fact that A/nya arrived with TWO armed soldiers at her side and all L/incoln said was “I was told there’d be no weapons” but surprise surprise there were!
And Clarke was right to bring Bellamy along and keep an eye on them since she was sure the grounders wouldn’t keep up with any promises L/incoln or F/inn tried to make and she was right. A/nya’s whole angry speech is another aspect I don’t get-yes, the 100 are invaders in a way but come on, you and L.incoln specifically, observed them for ages (if he knew he wanted Clarke to come along as the leader, let’s be real and let’s kinda ignore the fact that the whole relationship with O is a bit...well...I can dissect that but I won’t right now);
The point is they saw those were just children who knew nothing about the ground, had no weapons and fought against each other from day one. Those weren’t soldiers who went out there to seek land and kill the grounders-those were kids. A/nya’s other point-the falres? Sure, that probably caused fires but it was unintentional. Meanwhile what happened to them-they crossed Jasper on a tree and impaled him, killed and hunted a bunch of the others without any mercy and without stopping to think about asking what they’re doing here and what they do know about the ground (which is nothing); Her other point-capturing L.incoln and torturing him, yes, that’ IS bad, no one is denying that but that happened only after they hurt Jasper on day 1 of them coming down and killing 10 more delinquents and him stabbing F/inn. Let’s be real here, L/incoln isn’t some sort of helper to the 100 at first at all, he just observed them for a while and fell in love (weirdly) in O/ctavia which is why he blew the horn and saved her when he found her fallen. Does he want to change that later? Sure, he doesn’t think what they’re doing is right and he gets in conflict with his people but at first he was sent to scout, observe and possibly kill.
So none of A/nya’s points on that brdige make sense. They knew those kids weren’t invaders-they observed them and saw them for what they were-children, with no way of fighting (like the grounder children did if we are to think like them and know about the conclave) or any way to support themselves. They are just barely surviving. Yet you went there and killed them. THOSE are acts of war. Yes, what Clarke, Bellamy and the others did wasn’t good either-capturing L/incoln and torturing him but they would’ve done and they did the same to them if we look at Murphy and what happened to him.
The fight at the end of the episode between F/inn and O/ctavia on one side and Clarke, Bellamy, Jasper and Raven on the other is just...plain stupid for me. Yes, F/inn can want peace but he’s delusional if he thinks he’ll get it that way and O/ctavia if we’re going to be real is the one who acts out most as a teenager out of them all. I like this grounder and I’m gonna be with him for the sole reason that it will piss my brother off and that he is something different and adventerous that I want. She acts like none of the 100 ever got killed or hurt by them. Suddenly it’s all rainbows and unicorns and everyone else is wrong.
I’m not saying war and guns is the way but in this particular case Clarke and Bellamy were right and acted smart and in accordance to everything they knew about earth so far. The narrative blames them though just like it does later on many occassions.

Love You Seven Times, eps 15-16
Jin Luo took her own stone heart. She sacrificed herself for Zihui, because he loved her and she truly loved him. She saved him.
To be honest, I'm not sure I entirely trust the king/emperor who is Chu Kong's half brother. Though he does not seem bad?
When Xianguyn she was a cloud she stayed by Chu Kong for thousands of years? I would love that but it seems like the old guy has lied before about her origin.
LOL at Chu Kong setting the conditions for this tribulation.
So Xiangyun's primordial spirit is feeding Chu Kong's?? Well this is not going to be tragic in any way.
The third tribulation starts out dark. Xiangyun has to watch her parents die. But Chu Kong (Sect Leader this time) is there to pick up the pieces.
Please don't tell me I am going to have to suffer through the Punchable Prince in every one of their tribulations. Realistically I knew this but I don't have to like it.
Jin Lian is in this tribulation and is Shangque-esque
Chu Kong is genuinely worried about Xiangyun. He keeps looking at her finger that she bit when her family was slaguhtered
It's really interesting that the Fate Book for the tribulations is only a general outline but the immortals make the story what it becomes
Xiangyun being disobedient, when Chu Kong deliberately asked that she be obedient this time round, further solidifies that whomever they are in the mortal realm, the underlying personality of the immortal remains. unless Li did not write the obedient part in.
LOLOL at the "Listen to the strands of white hair growing out of my scalp"
The look that Chu Kong gives when she says she likes him. Except she keeps talking and it's not quite he wants to hear.
And then he kisses her when she was only trying to tell him he had crumbs on his lips. He is SHOOK by the kiss. He also gets a little emo and pouty after, refusing to drink his tea,
I love that he gave her the little pig (in reference to their first tribulation) and she knew he gave it to her. I laughed at his horror when he thought she cooked Stinky.
It's also nice to see Chu Kong ask for help in winning Xiangyun's affection. Except when he tries to cook for her. Considering he gave all of them food poisoning, he probably should have let htem help him.
Honestly, I love this tribulation more than the second one. I'm sure it's going to get angsty at some point - maybe next episode? It's not meant to be a long tribulation.
Whatever Punchable Prince is planning, is probably going result in her dying which makes me wonder if this might be a recurring theme in Chu Kong and Xiangyun's tribulations. He'll butt in under the pretense of protecting/saving her and ultimately be the one who is responsible for her death. Though honestly, I don't think it would make sense for her to die every time. If the story results in Chu Kong dying first, then I hope Xiangyun stabs him again.
