So, Hua Cheng ascended and immediately left. But from what we know about Xie Lian, leaving Heaven doesn't mean you lose your godhood. Which means Hua Cheng IS a god, right? Do you think he can be supported by his followers the way god is? I mean, he doesn't receive prayers, but the whole Ghost City believes in him.

Despite Hua Cheng saying that without him someone will seize the power, the Ghost City held for one year. It didn't fall apart with demons and ghosts fighting each other for power. Citizens even kept visiting Xie Lian, despite Hua Cheng being gone.

Now, hualian invented love, and love is what brought Hua Cheng back. But, speaking hypothetically.

Do you think the fact that Hua Cheng's followers kept worshiping him for the whole year could help him come back?
