Thire: So, uh, you are okay with me and Riyo being a thing? Despite her being a Senator?
Fox: Of course I am, it would be a bit hypocritical for me to not be okay with it. And Senator Chuchi seems like a nice and smart young lady. I have nothing against her
Thire: Alright, thank you, Sir
Fox: Honestly, I am just glad that none of you have brought in a Jedi. I honestly don't think I can handle any more of that
Stone: ....*glances at Thorn behind Fox's back*
Thorn: *sweating profusely under his bucket*

There are outsiders inside the Guard headquarters - capital O Outsiders, in Thorn’s mind, whose palms are growing sweaty inside his gloves. There’s a crackle of static across his HUD which temporarily blurs the bright orange markings across Commander Cody’s armour in front of his eyes, and he wonders a little faintly if making a break for it would be worth it.
Maybe if he kicked the Commander in the shin. Emotionally, if not realistically.
General Kenobi hums deeply into his mysterious Jedi beard, and Thorn abandons that line of thinking. It would just mean leaving Thire in charge anyways, a thought he shudders at. Fox has been gone for only eight hours and twelve minutes, and already Thorn wants to spend the rest of his life in the scream closet. He has considerably more empathy for the Marshall Commanders refusal to keep to anything approximating an existent sleep schedule all of a sudden.
“This is a very strange turn of events”, the General remarks, for the seventh time that hour. He’s been hm-ing and ah-ing his entire trip through HQ, making that line of tension threatening to snap Thorn’s spine draw up tighter each time. He’s going to give Stabby a nervous breakdown, at this rate. “As I understand it, Marshall Commander Fox was considered rather severe to the point of disproportionality in his consciousness of duty.” General Kenobi’s face does something very strange. “Even considering the evidence and facts, I cannot picture him assassinating the Chancellor and kidnapping a Senator.”
Thorn can, actually, a thought he doesn’t voice. Assassinating the Chancellor, that is. A good number of the Guard can picture themselves doing exactly that, and Stabby needs to be physically restrained from doing it on a regular basis. He also cannot picture Fox kidnapping a Senator, though, especially that one.
Which is why this stinks to high heaven.
“General”, Cody breaks the awkward silence Kenobi was evidently waiting for Thorn to fill, “Fox didn’t kill the Chancellor - he couldn’t have. He would never -“ The 212th’s wonder boy pauses briefly, searching for something to say that conveys more gravitas than trust me, I just know. Evidently, he doesn’t find it, because he finishes lamely on, “- he just wouldn’t.”
Shows you how much you know, ori’vod, Thorn thinks acidly, with all the pent-up rage of two years’ time watching Fox silently break apart at the seams.
“We will get to the bottom of this, Cody”, Kenobi says soothingly, with the hope for someone who hasn’t been chewed up and spit back out but Coruscant. “I promise, the Jedi are doing-“
A loud banging noise drowns out the rest of Kenobi’s sentence, and then promptly cuts off the rest when part of the ceiling suddenly caves in with extreme prejudice - no, Thorn realizes, that’s the air vent being launched at the ground followed by a dark, blurry shape of long dreads and sandy Jedi robe. Heartbeat thundering in his throat, Thorn barely stops himself in time from unloading his blasters into the stranger and is only slightly comforted by Cody’s equally drawn blaster. Only Kenobi is unimpressed by the turn of events, Jedi space-spidey-senses and all.
“- everything we can”, he finishes dryly, flicking a speck of dust off his fellow Jedi. “Commander Thorn, meet Quinlan Vos. Quinlan-“
“Yes, yes, good morning or afternoon, whatever”, the Jedi - Vos - intercepts. Thorn doesn’t point out that it’s advanced evening dipping into the night-cycle, because it might make him lose his shit for good. “We have a problem, Obes. There’s some creepy shit going on here - Force, all of you need therapy.” That last bit is aimed at Thorn, he’s pretty sure. The furrowed brow definitely is. “And some heavy-duty medical assistance, I’m pretty sure. What the kriff is up with that?”
Kenobi’s eyebrows are steadily inching towards his hairline, and beneath the bucket and general assholery Thorn is sure Cody’s are doing the same. He’s rescued by a sudden chime from the Commander’s com signalling a priority level one message, and Wolffe’s grey armour that pops up.
“Kote, thank kriff I caught you - there’s some seriously weird stuff in the Chancellor’s office, the General said to get Kenobi over here as fast as possible. No sign of Fox, but-“
Which is when Vos decides to pipe up by throwing a comlink at Kenobi that makes Thorn’s chest grow cold with panic, because it should be locked behind several bomb- and thief-proof doors deep in the lower levels. “Right, I might be able to help with that!”
Which is when, to Thorn’s growing horror, the comlink lights up and all he can do is watch numbly as Fox’s voice crackles through.
“-kriffing Sithspit is going on, Thorn, you can’t just send out distress signals and then not answer, was your growth tube kriffing dropped or -“
A loud, familiar wailing sound interrupts Fox in his rant, just as it was starting to get good. Thorn wants to bang his head into the wall. Thorn wants many things.
“MEESA NO MEAN TO IMPALE THE CHANCELLOR ONSA PEN, MEESA SORRY!”

Bly, being escorted into Fox's office: What is this? Why are you three so excited? Wolffe: You're not going to believe this. Cody: So Fox is in love with Thorn-- Rex: But Thire is in love with Fox. Bly, looking at Fox, who isn't really paying them any mind: ...Is that true? Stone, after entering the office: Uh...Is there a meeting happening? Fox: No. They're just entertained by my plight. Stone: Plight? Fox: Yes...It's about my relationship with Thorn... Stone: You two aren't breaking up, are you? Fox: No...I--It's complicated... Stone: So you...might be? Fox: If Thire has anything to say about it... Stone, coming to an understanding: I see...Thire wants to be with you instead... Cody, Rex, & Wolffe: Yes! Bly: This seems serious, guys. We should leave them alone... Cody, Rex, & Wolffe: Shhh! Fox: I don't know what to do... Stone: Thorn won't agree to...a poly relationship? Fox: Not with Thire... Cody: He's a threat! Rex: Episode three was totally setting us up for Fox choosing Thire. He definitely has feelings for him. Wolffe: I just hope he chooses the one he loves... Bly: Wh--Episode three? Are you treating Fox's relationship problems like a series? Stone: I think the problem is you're only considering two options, to break Thire's heart or to lose Thorn. Fox: Are you saying there's a third option? Cody, leaning forward: A third option? Rex, wide-eyed: Oh my stars...Is it Stone? Wolffe: Is a love square a thing!? Bly: ...I hate that I'm dying to know... Stone: You could always tell two of your commanders to keep their mouths shut while you sleep with all of your commanders. Cody: OHHH! Rex: I CALLED IT! Wolffe: Would Thire agree to that, though? Bly: You're worried about Thire? What about Thorn? Fox: I couldn't do that...Well, I mean I could, but-- Stone, leaning closer to Fox: What he doesn't know can't hurt him, Commander. Besides, neither one of them is particularly...dominant, and I know you're eager to give up control. Fox, clearing his throat: And that's my cue to get to that meeting I have scheduled. Things are a little too hot in here. Cody: ...Stone, since Fox is busy-- Rex: Wait...Is that the end? Wolffe: It was either that or a sex scene. Bly, frustrated: But...this is a love story, right? If Fox loves Thorn, he wouldn't--Would he? Guys, you watched the other episodes! Fill me in!

My Fics !
I realized I have very little connection between this account and my Ao3 account, so I figured I'd share a list of my fics on here in case anyone is ever interested :) WIPs are at the top, complete stories at the bottom
My WIPs:
In Darkness a Hope
An AU where Anakin wasn't found on Tatooine, Naboo fell, the jedi were blamed and scattered, war broke out, and the Empire began three years later. Anakin meets Ahsoka after she crashes on Tatooine, they run into Rex, and things snowball. Cody is also one of the two true main characters, but you wouldn't know it from his screen time at the beginning.
All That We Intend is Scrawled in Sand
An AU where Kix notices that something is up with Anakin, and that leads him to realize it may be connected to whatever's going on with the Guard. A few illegal choices later, he's in place to investigate. Basically, a Kix-saves-the-galaxy (with help from his friends) AU.
Marked
Also a work in my series about the Command Batch + Rex, featuring all of the commanders and the ways they're marked by the war. So far, Wolffe losing his eye and Rex getting his jaig eyes are written, with Gree, Bly, Fox, Ponds, and Cody still to come.
My Complete Works:
What Walks in the Shadows
Coruscant is haunted and Fox meets one of the ghosts, and proceeds to unravel a conspiracy as result. It's kind of sad but there's as happy of an ending as there can be in a fic where one of the main characters is already dead. It is a fix-it (because I am predictable) but it's set after Season 6 of TCW, so some people are already dead (rip Fives and Thorn specifically).
The Sins of the Father
My first Star Wars fic! AU where Fox manages to stop Order 66 before it's sent out to Cody, but not before Anakin takes the 501st to the temple. Mostly, it follows Luke and Leia coming to terms with who and what their Father is and what that means for them, via grand quests. Featuring: Jedi Healer Luke, Jedi Shadow Leia, Ezra Bridger being a good friend, Luke continually lacking self-preservation, and an ancient Force entity.
A Dance Among the Stars
A series following the Command Batch & Rex through the war. They're mostly short (like 2000-4000 words). Current works are:
The Tidings of War (When each member of the batch says the war began)
Many Meetings (They meet their generals and begin to trust them)
To See Again the Stars (Rex adopting Fives and Echo, and kind of Ahsoka, too)
Sleep No More (Ponds coming to terms with the deaths of his men)
Interlude (Conversations on leave between Rex & Anakin and Cody & Obi-Wan)
What Dreams May Come (Fox and the Guard being not okay)
What Was I Made For (Gree meeting Barriss and trying to help her through her feelings about war)
The Stars Their Ancient Courses Keep (Ponds having a conversation with Boba the night he's taken hostage)
A Buried and a Burning Flame (Five significant sunrises in Cody's life, and also maybe my pride and joy)
Something is Rotten in the State of Coruscant
An AU literally born from me going "What if Anakin was Hamlet?" Obi-Wan dies in the Rako Hardeen arc, and Anakin has to figure out how, exactly, that happened. One of the only times I've actually managed to let a character die, because it literally had to happen for the plot. The nerdiest thing I've ever done, and I stand by it.

Fox's Wonderful Day
OK, still vastly amused by @kittenskywalker's shitpost about Anakin & Padmè getting arrested and Anakin being more afraid of Obi-Wan than jail.
It's Date Night for Anakin and Padmè. They managed to ditch Padmè's security detail and headed for the lower levels for a little anonymous fun. People studiously don't pay attention to others around here and they're both wearing "disguises" so they figure they're safe. Anakin's been taking part in some illegal podracing and is high on his victory, which might be why he doesn't realize they're being followed.
The Corrie Guard has been trying to shut down this particular racing ring for a while. It has ties to a lot of unpleasant groups and a few too many bystanders have been maimed or killed by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Hound & Grizzer are following the trail of one of the more successful racers in hopes of bringing him in for questioning. He sends a snapshot of "Nika Skye" and his girlfriend back to Fox for their records.
Fox recognizes Anakin immediately and knows who his "girlfriend" has to be because those two are as subtle as a grease fire. He orders Hound not to lose them and sets out himself so he can personally deal with this. Anakin has been a thorn in his side for ages and now he might finally have a chance at a bit of comeuppance.
Fox meets up with Hound by one of the more notorious gardens. It's a favorite place for assignations and sure enough, Anakin has decided to celebrate his victory a little early.
Public Indecency is an arrestable offence, but despite what everyone says the Guard aren't complete assholes; as long as it's consensual, they look the other way.
Until now.
In his wildest dreams Fox had never hoped for something this good. He catches them in flagrante delicto and has them arrested. They start by trying to defend themselves in-character, but when that doesn't work they switch to pulling out their real credentials in an attempt to dissuade/bully Fox into letting them go.
Naturally it doesn't work and Anakin's attempt to mind trick Fox slides right off; the Commander has too strong a personality for that and is FAR too invested in this to be put off.
He drags them in and dumps them in a holding cell while he figures out what charges he might be able to make stick. Public Indecency is an easy one. Involvement in illegal podracing might be trickier. Possession of false identities could work. He'll have to work fast, though, because if the Chancellor finds out his pet Jedi is in jail, all hell will break loose.
Fox decides to follow protocol and calls Anakin's emergency contact: Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Obi-Wan had actually been managing to get some sleep for once, but wakes up fast as Fox tells him all that his former Padawan has been up to. He apologizes profusely to Fox for the mess and promises he'll be arriving soon to sort things out and make sure proper punishments are enacted.
And since he's having such a fun night and also wants to do everything by the book, Fox also informs Padmè's head of security of her location and the reason she's being held.
Normally being in the Guard is a grueling, grinding, thankless chore. But right now? Best. Night. Ever. All hell is about to break loose and Fox has a front row seat.

Random clone wars hcs that are just begging to be written?
Many, many headcanons and I know that not all of these play together so I apologize in advance
Rex was reconned several times when he was younger due to his hair
Rex’s batchmates all had blond hair however they were all decommed and with each decom, he was reconned
He was initially supposed to be decommed after the 5th recon but it was during that time Cody saw him and took him under his wing
Fox ends up finding out who the Sith Lord is (has found out several times) but he’s always sent to Kamino for recon
Thorn has a suspicion on who it might be but says nothing and tries his best to keep Fox from finding out so he doesn’t get reconned again but it’s always futile
There is at least one clone trooper who is a serial killer within the GAR and he uses the battles and clean-ups as excuses to take either a Vod or a local to satisfy his urge and blame the war for their disappearance/death
There are definitely some planets who despise clones and any who is left behind either from injuries or lost on these planets end up are forced to hide else they get captured and tortured or worse, sold into slavery
There is at least one planet (or a portion of it) who partakes in cannibalism no matter who it is
Dogma and Tup were accidentally left behind on the cannibalism planet and had to fight and hide for months before they were able to deny a signal out to get rescued
They saved several others including Vod and natborns
Cody and Fox has definitely been kidnapped together once and each tried to save the other from the pain by volunteering themselves but it backfired because the kidnapper just saw it as an opportunity to hurt them both
They were gone for months before Wolffe, Plo and the Wolffepack rescued them
Cody ended up losing his tongue and Fox his sight before they got rescued
Tech has only ever failed once on a mission and that mission ended up costing Wrecker’s his sight in his right eye
Cody likes to play pranks on his batchmates and has done so since he was a cadet. He’s employed the help of his batchmates’ men to know their schedules and shifts so he knows when to set up when they’re out
Thorn knows about Cody’s pranks and has kept a running tally on how often Fox gets pranked before he realizes it’s Cody and not the other Guard Commanders
Fives was put into the Clone Witness Protection Program after the whole situation with the chips
He was forced to change his name till the end of the war and got placed at the same post Dogma was transferred to after Umbara
Dogma didn’t recognize it was Fives due to his lack of tattoo and Fives couldn’t tell else his place in the program would become moot
They become decent friends and Fives found out that Dogma was the one helping the Guard with the Clone Witness Protection Program even if he doesn’t know who goes into it by researching and talking with other battalions and posts on where others to go
Meaning they were sent to Dogma’s post temporarily before being transferred to their new permanent post
Meaning Dogma knew Fives was in the program even if he didn’t know who he was specifically
Tup was originally one of the recon handlers on Kamino; he would take care of the soldiers who were sent in for recon and prepare them for duty before sending them back out
Dogma was one of his clients who got too attached which forced him to transfer to the 501st with him
When his chip malfunctioned, the Kaminoans faked his death in order to assign him back onto recon handling
During the fight with Fox, Fives ended up getting stunned and sent for recon
Tup ended up being his recon handler
I have more that I’ll add later to this post but I hope you enjoy these!! Also some of these were thought of with @justherejusttherejusteverywhere so credit to them too!!

Hello! I love your Corrie Guard AU. I wish that there was more Coruscant Guard content out on Tumblr and Ao3 — there's so much angst potential! I was wondering if in addition to the compilation Hound made and posted, there was also a list of complicated regulations that each Guard had memorized. Don't ever look Senators in the eye, always say yes no matter what, avoid the Senate Guard to not get beaten, patrol in large groups to avoid angry citizens, don't feel bad if your batch drops you, etc.
Oh yeee 100%
There was a very complicated set of regulations along with the videos, but there was also a far more simple list, the list. The Rules.
An insight into the lives of their siblings, from their point of view. An insight that looked at more than what the Senators had done but their lives beyond that, still showing hardship they’d never wanted their vode to experience.
———
The Rules:
Rule 1: You don't ever, EVER, fight back.
Rule 2: Keep your armour uniform so you can't be identified if you're accused of anything. (You can paint the inside though, talk to your CO-Velt).
Rule 3: No matter how weird or demeaning, do what you're ordered.
Rule 4: Do not react if you're called 'Clone' or 'it' or anything similar. Don't argue, don't try to tell them your name, it's not worth the fight or your safety. Just do what they say.
Rule 5: Look out for your vode, be there for them. Keep an eye on each other and lean on each other when you need to. Especially the shinies.
Rule 6: It's not your fault if you lose contact with your vode in the wider GAR, it happens to everyone. If you need it, find one of the older vode to talk to.
Rule 7: When you're in the Senate, keep your head and eyes low. (They don’t deserve your respect but show it anyway-Thorn)
Rule 8: When you're guarding parties or galas, unless there's an attack, don't say a word, don't move an inch. (To stave off boredom, make a game with the other guards beforehand, for example, who has the largest and most pointless gemstone or who's outfit suits them the least-Fox)
Rule 9: Listen to your supervisors, they'll keep you safe. They know the safest patrol routes, they'll step in if you're out of your depth... their job is to protect you. Let them.
Rule 10: Postings are official, however, shifts and jobs can be swapped.
Rule 11: If you need help, get it. (Seriously don't hide it, that only causes problems for anyone vod-Thire) (The Rec room and side room of the med bay are always open for use if you need somewhere-Hound).
Rule 12: Fix has a medical override so if a Senator has restricted your access to food, it can be overruled. (Stubbed toes or hangnail or anything, just make sure you get food-Fix).
Rule 13: When you're off shift, make sure to pick up hobbies and let yourself relax. The job is exhausting, you need to relax and look after yourself.
Rule 14: Help people in need, they're far more important than the Senators.
Rule 15: GO TO THE KRIFFING MEDICS!!! (This should be Rule 1, but Fox doesn't want people parroting it back to him-Fix)
Rule 16: Food may get scarce, but don't limit yourself or skip meals. It's the job of the canteen staff to sort out rations and make sure everyone has enough. They sort out rations, you make sure you eat. (That includes you Hound-Fix)
Rule 17: People will throw things at you and shout at you, don't react, just do what you can to ignore it. They're all morons anyway.
Rule 18: Don't feel guilty about throwing people in the drunk tank, especially not other vode from outside the Guard. Just enjoy it. (Bonus points if you catch a Jedi or Senator-Stone) (Don't encourage them-Fox).
Rule 19: Don't draw attention to yourself.
Rule 20: If you have nothing else you have each other. Never forget it. Never lose hope.
———
Thanks for the ask, I love the corries and if we few have to build them up then build them up we shall, lmao.

What if the clones changed places with diferent battalions because of The Force shenanigans for one week?
501:
Tumblr media
Rex: He gets sent to the 187th battalion of Mace Windu, he proceeds to have almos two heart attacks per day with Hardcase causing his usual caos, when he is not trying to prevent Harcase from painting Mace Windu’s robes blue he is chating with Ponds and taking any moment to try a recover their lost time and of course bitch about their Generals (I headcanon that Mace is just as much of a disasters as other Jedis, the diference is that he can hide it.)
Dogma: He gets sent to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Dogma is almost shocked to death by how Plo Koon treats him and the other clones that where sent to his battalion, Plo Koon helps him understand that following orders without thinking about them is not the best thing to do, he surprisingly gets along with Comet and alongside with the CG commanders is babied and almost adopted by Plo Koon, when he learned about what the CG go trough he finally learned that people need to earn your loyallty and has sworn to do anything to help his brothers, no matter where they are from.
Tup: He gets sent to the Coruscant Guard, Tup sticks t Fives even more than before since they are in a unkown place for him, he also  tries to keep Fives from causing any more trouble and animosity between the CG and the 501th battalion than there already is, being court martialed because of painting Commander Cody’s armor pink, and of course half of the CG want to keep him when they see the cinamon roll that he is and how tired he ends because of Fives.
Fives: He gets sent to the Coruscant Guard, he is constantly stoped by Tup from doing almost anything fun, he gets along with Hound like there is no tomorrow, probably since Grizzer loves Fives and Fives isn’t scared of him, whne Fives is with Tup he has to basically prevent him form being kidnaped by half of the CG. “He Tup where are you going? Oh, I’m going to see what Spot wanted to show me earlier today.(Fives notices the badly hidden ropes of Spot) No your not(Fives picks Tup like a sack of potaoes) Fives what the kriff!, Tup is MY VOD and you can’t keep him!!!(Fives yells while being chased by Spot and other troopers)”
Echo: He gets sent to the 212th battalion of Obi Wan Kenobi, Echo isn’t that out of it in the 212th battalion since he and Fives where deployed with them a few times already, but he is going to lose it if he has to prevent someone being murdered by Sinker because they mocked his battallions name one more time or howled when he walked in. He has also learned that no matter where he goes a brother will take Five’s place and in this case Thorn is that brother.
Hardcase: He gets sent to the 187th battalion of Mace Windu, Hardcase decides to see how fast he can cause Rex to grow grey hairs and Ponds is a plus, especially since this is Mace Windu’s battalion, although poor Rex and Ponds have no idea that Mace is on it. “Hey Hardcase, whats that you’ve got?(Rex asks seing the suspicious bag Hardcase is carying) Coffe grains!!(Hardcase answeres befoere runnig of while munching some of them) Nooo!!!(Rex remembering what happened last time Hardcase had one caf runs after him, willing to stun him and ignoring the rest of the men in the room laughing.) (In the mean time Mace is hiding his amused laugh after he gave Harcase the coffe grains.)”
212:
Tumblr media
Cody: He gets sent to the Coruscant Guard, Cody takes the time he has and sleeps like he has never slept before, at the start he helped Fives to keep the CG from stealing Tup, since he knows how it feels that the CG is trying to steal one of his shiny vod, after Fives tried to paint his armor pink, he stoped and decided to enjoy Five’s suffering.
Longshot: He gets sent to the 501th battalion of Anakin Skywalker, Longshot and Jesse are Kix’s new nightmare, since they also decided that making Wolfee’s comn to howl like a wolf.
Boil: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Boil wonders if the universe entertaines itself with his suffering, because from all the vod he had to love it had to be Waxer and from all the existing battalions they could magically apear on it was Plo “I adopt any living creature that barely breathes in my direction” Koon, although he isn’t as against at the idea of finding Numa as he says he is, and Waxer knows it. He was one of the troopers that helpes Stone in making Fox rest, it’s the least he can do after he learned what they go trough.
Waxer: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Waxer and Plo get along to a scary level, multiple troopers have to restrain him phisically and distracting Plo long enough that they can’t go in a journey across the galaxy in search for Numa. He also discovered what the CG go trough and felt ashamed of what he thought of hi brothers before, he alongside Boil have decided to spread this information, to at least make sure that their brothers have more support.
104 Wolfpack:
Tumblr media
Wolfee: He gets sent to the 501th battalion of Anakin Skywalker, Wolfee thanks the universe for assigning him to General Plo “Coff Coff Buir”, instead of the walking disaster that Skywalker is and at the same time begs the universe for patience in order to prevent himself from murdering any other Vod that makes his comn howl or any joke about wolf in his presence, even if it’s Commander Ashoka or how General Buir calls her “Little Soka”.
Boost: He gets sent to the 187th battalion of Mace Windu, Boost is having the time of his life alongside Waxer and to his shock General Windu, by giving early grey hair to Captain Rex and Commander Ponds, this may seem cruel to some and even to him at the start, but when he learned that General Windu was doing this in order to boost the rest of his men morale after a really hard capaing he was sold, besides some humor never hurt anyone, right?
Sinker: He gets sent to the 212th battalion of Obi Wan Kenobi, General Kenobi is not a bad Jedi and by all means he thinks he enjoys the chats he has with the Jedi but may the universe have mercy on the next fool who makes a joke about his battalion’s name or howls while he enters the room, he doesn’t care about the consequences and fortunately Echo has prevented a lot of bloodshed caused by his hands, he hopes that when he’s back with the Wolfpack the ARC gets deployed with them more often, he likes him.
Coruscant Guard:
Tumblr media
Fox: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Fox apreciates the Jedi, since he ans his men don’t have on he had no idea what to expect and lets say that Skywalker didn’t give him high expectations and since he can’t do his paperwork he was cuddled to death by stone and by a few other brothers that learned of how they are treated in Coruscant. Plo has to be stoped by the Wolfpack who fake injuries in order to prevent the Jedi from storming the Senate, when he found out of how the CG are treated one didn’t need the force in order to feel the bloodlust in the man, and even if the Wolfpack shared this feeling they can’t let their Jedi be acused of treason..
Stone: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, he is thankfull to any force in the universe for giving him this time to finally force Fox to sleep, since Thorn isn’t here it’s his duty to care for the di’kut he calls a vod and commander. He didn’t cry when the Wolfpack as a whole decided that the CG needed help, he really didn’t, it was just a bit of dirt in his eyes, but having brothers outside of the CG watching his back is conforting, and Fox won’t admit it but they have a soft spot for Dogma.
Thorn: He gets sent to the 212th battalion of Obi Wan Kenobi, he want’s to help Sinker with a bunch of his plans to make the 212th suffer except for Wooley, Wooley is nice, fortunately for the 212th Echo stops Sinker most of the time and the poor ARC looks so tired of it, so Thorn has decided to help him around, he remember one time Fox talked about the time he worked with the ARC and another one named Fives, Fox saud that Thorn where painfully similar and may or may not have admited to have liked working with him, “but you didn’t hear that form him alright Echo? Echo? Wait you recorded it, no stop Fox will murder me!! (Proceeds to run after a cackling Echo)”.
Thire: He gets sent to the 501th battalion of Anakin Skywalker, he is not surprised at all when he see’s the daily disasters that happen on Torrent, and even if Commander Tano and General Skywalker are fun to be around, he can see where the battalion got the recklesnes from and he will feel no regret when Rex comes back and he is back on coruscant.

Okay so first off, I love bears! 😭 they’re so cute! I would have one as a pet if I could. How do you think the pillarmen would react to their s/o finding a bear and immediately becoming friends with it? Doesn’t matter that it’s literally a wild animal. It saw s/o and was like “this is my friend now” and it follows her everywhere. But the bear is “submissive” to her. It doesn’t attack at all and does that thing where it shows it’s belly to her all the time. The bear likes the pillar men, but not as much as it loves s/o.
Ahhh! My dear Anon, this is is such a sweet idea! 🥰🥰🥰 I have the very same feelings about keeping a Fox as a Pet ❤ I very much would if I could! 😌
This started out as a few simple headcanons buuuuut~... 😅 I got carried away and turned it into a full fic! 😘😇 Please “bear” with me and enjoy! 🐻🐻🐻
The Pillarmen’s s/o brings Home a Bear...  (A bit of a long fic; Under the cut for length!)
(I’ll stop making bear puns from this point on, I swear! I just couldn’t pass up the chance to use this picture. in any case... Please do not attempt anything that your read here with a real life Bear or any woodland creature that is dangerous for that matter! If you happen to find a lost little Bear in your travels, do the responsible thing and contact a forestry! ~FunBun)

"What," Your head snapped up as someone spoke from behind; your eyes trailing up a most familiar muscular torso to eventually meet the disapproving gaze of Kars looming over you. The Pillarman's eyes were wide and his face unreadable, "is that?"
There you were, sitting on the front porch which was not an abnormal occurrence as this was your house and you did as you pleased...
Except for, of course, the fact that you were cradling a LIVING BABY BEAR in your lap and hand-feeding it a peanut butter sandwich!
"...A Friend." You said after a long moment, blinking up at the behemoth of a man. The Cub in your arms grasped at your hand with two huge chubby-toed paws as you pushed the last chunky bit of sandwich into its awaiting mouth; happily chewing away as if it didn't have a bother in the world.
Kars let out a long sigh, his barreled chest heaving as he reached up to pinch the space between his painted eyes with a forefinger and thumb.
"Why?" He questioned.
It was really the only thing he could say in that moment as thousands of questions rolled through his head like flotsam and jetsam. The Pillarmen struggled to keep a hold on himself, trying to give you the benefit of the doubt first before giving you the scolding he so wanted to.
He and the others knew very well you loved animals, which pleased the Pillarmen as they were Men who valued nature and precious life; Kars was no exception. They were most especially aware of your specific fixation on Bears but Kars never so much as gave the love for the creature a second thought.
However, right now, while you held a living Bear in your lap he was beginning to wish he had thought to tell you not to do something as foolish as take one in.
"Hey! I didn't do anything!" You defended yourself, allowing the Bear Cub you cradled to lick the remnants of the gooey sandwich from your fingers. You know exactly what he was thinking; he thought you deliberately went out and took the Bear!
Really, you hadn't done anything! Well... not this time anyways.
It all started when you had gone out for your morning walk in the woods, you happened to enjoy the crisp Spring air this time of year and it was a good way to get out of the house for a bit and away from the noise of the Four Pillarmen you adored that were living with you.
It was only when you were halfway down your usual route when you realized there was a little black Bear Cub following right behind you.
At first, you had feared the worst. Normally where there was a baby, there was a Mother not very far behind and despite your love for Bears you REALLY didn't want to have an encounter an angry Mother Bear that was searching for her lost baby and happened to think you were the one that took it. You did your best to avoid the baby Bear, walking fast and pretending not to notice it in hopes that it would simply give up tailing you eventually and go on its own way back to where it came from, despite the tugging of your heartstrings.
After some time of attempted avoid and evade the Cub didn't leave your side, ambling close at your heals and beginning to cry out for your attention. It became obvious to you it was all alone and even more obvious that it was hungry; as soon as it saw you it thought to remedy both those things.
Always having a big heart, you just couldn't bring yourself to leave the poor thing all alone out in the woods; especially not when it was clinging to your leg and looking up at you with those big honeyed eyes pleadingly...
You weren't supposed to get caught. You had planned to keep him a secret for at least a little while.
You had lead the baby back to the house and left it outside to its own devices on the doorstep for just a moment. Meanwhile you slipped into the kitchen to make, not one, but two peanut butter sandwiches to feed it. You really didn't have anything else to give it, you hadn't been expecting to feed a hungry little Bear anytime soon and there was nothing in it that would hurt the Cub anyways as it was mostly protein.
Your early return from your walk had gone unnoticed by the others (at least at first).
Thankfully, Santana hadn't been in the kitchen raiding the fridge like he normally did this time of morning and had been in the Livingroom with Esidisi instead, too invested in the video game they were playing to hear you come in.
Wamuu was out back chopping up more firewood to burn, as the nights were still very cold; the Warrior too far away to hear you and unable to see you with the house in the way.
Kars was supposed to be up in his study, up to his elbows in papers and practically dead to the world but of course (just when you wanted him to be working for once) he wasn't.
Somehow, he just always knew when something was amiss.
"Peanut followed me here," you explained, peering down at the squirming black fuzz ball in your lap that was still happily licking the peanut butter from its chops.
Kars clicked his tongue, "Peanut?"
He seemed even more displeased you had already named it; if you named something, it became hard to lose it. That was a rule many people followed through ancient times.
You let out a shaky laugh, ignoring the chunky paws inarticulately grasping at your clothes as a little pink tongue darted out from a tiny chestnut muzzle, dampening the glistening black button at the very tip.
Peanut was giving you a thorough sniff, making sure that he had consumed all of the delicious food you had brought him and that he hadn't missed a single morsel.
"It fits." You told him, smiling pathetically as you shrugged your shoulders.
Ruby eyes drifted down to the little creature squirming in your lap for more than a beat before he let out another sigh; this time it didn't sound as stern and disapproving as the first but it still sent a shiver down your spine. His lips pulled into a sympathetic frown as he closed the distance between you two, crouching at your side.
"Dear one," he spoke, using the tone he typically reserved for when he was trying to comfort you or give you some advice. "We cannot keep Peanut."
Immediately, you felt your heart quiver at his words; the pulse of the muscle stopped all together as you looked up at him. His eyes, normally the epitome of inhuman and predatory, now softened.
You knew very well he would have this talk with you, albeit much sooner than you anticipated originally, but it didn't change the fact it was making your heart clench painfully in your chest.
"Why?" You questioned. Now it was all you could really say in that moment as everything else that tried to come out got jumbled up in your throat.
You really didn't need to ask such a question however, as you already knew the answer.
"My sunshine, he's a wild Animal; a predator. He may be a small creature now but Cubs like Peanut grow very quickly indeed." He explained gently, wrapping one muscular arm around you. "And as he grows, his appetite will grow; you won't be able to feed him simple sandwiches forever."
Your lips scrunched up as you peered down at the now quiescent black ball of fuzz cradled in your arms. Peanut, his belly now full and all the peanut butter thoroughly cleaned from his paws and face, had closed his eyes and was slowly falling down into a most comfortable mid-morning nap.
He was so cute; so damn cute you wanted to cry. A hand absentmindedly reached up to grasp one of his paws, your thumb tracing over the squishy pads of his feet and feeling the sharp little claws sprouting from the chubby toes like thorns from a rose.
All your life you loved Bears, no matter the kind; Panda Bears, Koala Bears, Grizzly Bears, Sun Bears, Polar Bears, even Black Bears like Peanut... and now here you were, holding one in your very own arms! Hugging it close to your body like one would an everyday Teddy Bear! A real life Bear had just waddled up to you in the forest, clinging to you as if appointing you as its new Mother and caregiver, cuddling in your arms like a loving pet and cooing as you fed it an icky-sticky delight.
It was a dream come true... and now Kars was asking you to wake up and cast it aside.
"But--... But--..." the quivering of your lip made it hard to find a foothold in this dispute.
"And there is also the matter of his behavior." Kars continued softly, one massive palm gently rubbing up and down your back as he spoke. "Bears can grow to be very territorial and temperamental creatures. Their maximum strength can out lift 10 Men and their maximum speed is faster than any vehicle you can drive."
By now your eyes were watering, the fuzzy spot in your arms no longer seemed so very fuzzy as the world around you blurred behind tears.
Kars, of course, was making sense as he always did and you didn't like it one bit.
The living God's frown only deepened as the glistening of the water pooling in your eyes caught his. Truly, he hated to see you cry. Seeing tears in your eyes was something that made him weak in places he never felt such weakness prior to falling in love with you... but your safety was in jeopardy; and that was something he, nor the other Pillarmen who loved you and dotted on you, didn't want to risk over one creature.
"We have to put him back where he belongs." He said; though his words still carried that softness it was undoubtedly an order not to be refused.
"Oh Kars," you sniffed, your nose crinkling as tears began to fall. "I can't do it!"
You turned more fully towards him, presenting the sleepy Cub; practically thrusting him into the Pillarman's arms.
"Just look at him!" You cried. "He's so small and he's all alone! I don't know what happened to his Mother but she's gone and... and..."
One massive hand found your cheek as the tears came harder, a calloused thumb swiping the raging rivers aside.
"Please Kars... I can't give him up... what if he--?...." you wimpered, unable to finish that thought. You were fully aware you had already lost for today as he shook his head sadly.
Your tears did nothing to sway him when he knew what he had to do.
His free hand slipped under the sleeping Cub, Peanut did little more than fill his palm, scooping him up and cradling him close to his chest as he stood.
Your arms had never felt more empty.
"I'm sorry, Beloved. It has to be done." He told you as you stared up at him with a crestfallen and teary gaze. "Chances are, his natural instincts will kick in and he will learn to take care of himself despite the absence of his Mother. Abandoned Cubs are more common than you think. Peanut needs to go back to the woods."
That was all that could be said, the Pillarman disappeared in one blinding flash; taking the Bear Cub with him.
You were left there sitting on the porch, scrubbing at your cheeks with the sleeve of your sweater until the sensitive skin was raw in the cool Spring morning air. You managed to pull yourself together enough to not raise suspicion and headed back inside to make some coffee.
The morning passed quietly, when Kars made his eventual return to the house (sans Bear in hand) you didn't even look him in the eye.
You didn't deny that Kars had done the right thing, Peanut was in fact a wild Animal and belonged to the wilderness, but you still felt strangely bitter over it. So inexplicably angry it almost felt childish as you couldn't stop yourself from glaring at his back as he passed the kitchen table.
More time passed, your only half-drunk mug of coffee had long gone cold and your grief for the little Bear you knew that was left all alone somewhere in the woods had managed to ebb somewhat. You were just about to get up to go get a start on some chores when all of a sudden, Wamuu came through the door.
"Shoo! Shoo!" The massive Pillarman swiped his hand as he backed himself through the door, "Go on! Go back to your Home, small one."
You tilted your head, watching the unusual display. "What's wrong?"
The blonde turned his head to look at you with a frown. "I was trying to finish up my morning task when a Bear came out of the woods." He explained, finally closing the door with a sigh. Your gasp went unnoticed as he peered through the window of the door, his frown only etching deeper. "It's too small to be a juvenile. Just a Cub. I did not want to find out if there was a Mother lingering so I came back to the House. However, it seems to have decided to follow me..."
The Warrior blinked as you were suddenly out of your seat, squeezing past him to squish against the window of the door to see for yourself.
"Peanut!" You cried, your heart fluttering in your chest as you too caught sight of the little round ink blot sitting dejectedly on the porch.
Wamuu barely had a chance to react let alone intervene as you yanked open the door again, the sounds of the crying Bear hitting your ears.
It was Peanut alright, every feature similar right down to the whiskers of his muzzle. The Bear was plopped down on his rear, feet sticking out under him like he were a simple Teddy Bear sitting on the shelf of a toy store, and staring up at the door he knew you were behind. The squeaky wailing of the Cub fell silent as soon as he caught sight of you and realized he was no longer all alone, it seemed that he missed you just as much as you had him.
Wamuu stared in disbelief, watching with wide eyes as the little Bear rolled onto his back to reveal his soft tummy and stubby paws to you.
"Peanut?" The blonde questioned, one thick eyebrow raising as he looked between you both.
This was a wild Animal and yet you greeted it like some sort of pet!
As your leaned down to give a loving rub to the exposed tummy of the Bear, cooing at it as contentment spread across its features. You intended to recount this mornings full story to ease Wamuu's obvious confusion, however, you didn't so much as get the chance to get a word out before Kars was standing in the room.
He had just been about to head upstairs and absorb himself in his work, when he caught a snippet of what was happening in the kitchen. The Pillarman's crimson eyes wide as he approached, needing to see what was happening for himself.
"Look Kars!" You beamed, grinning up at both gawking Pillarmen as the Bear grasped at your petting hand, playfully trying to gum on your fingers with blunt little teeth. "Peanut came back!"
Kars all but shared in your glee, the pinching of his brows and the drooping of his lips gave away his irritation.
He had dropped Peanut off safely somewhere in the woods, not far from your usual walking path. When he had left, the Cub had still been sound asleep, completely none the wiser to being left behind, and the Pillarman had honestly thought that would be that.
It would seem the creature had imprinted on you more than he anticipated and it only added on to his previous fears.
"I'm afraid I'm in need of an explanation, my Lord..." Wamuu spoke up, tearing his gaze away from you and the Bear Cub you were most happily playing with.
Kars swooped in, taking the Cub away from you for the 2nd time that morning, much like an Eagle dropping from the sky to snatch up a mouse. Peanut pawed at his hardened chest, becoming squirmy in the massive mans hold as he let out a couple of little grunts.
It was as if the Bear knew exactly what Kars intended to do.
"I'll explain it to you in full when I return, Wamuu." He sighed as he begun carrying the squirming woodland creature away from the House towards the woods where he deemed it rightfully belonged.
You waved at the baby Bear as it watched you from over one muscled shoulder with those big honeyed eyes, feeling a little disheartened again but the fact that the Cub came looking for you still made a sweet warmth bloom in your chest.
It would be far from the last time any of you saw Peanut.
Late morning turned to afternoon and the day bloomed into something warm and lovely, like a watered down Summer day. Linens and towels came straight from the washing machine and were headed for the clothesline to dry in the sweet air.
There was absolutely nothing better than falling asleep in bedsheets that had spent all day out on a line in the breeze.
Always happy to help you around the household, Esidisi volunteered to put them out for you as you were already busy doing other things around the house.
He had only turned his back for 2 seconds to hang the first sheet, humming softly to himself as he went, before turning to find a baby Bear making himself at Home in the laundry basket he had carried out. Peanut was rubbing his scent all over the damp linens as he rolled in and pawed at the clean sheets; inevitably dirtying them again.
Esidisi found the whole ordeal hilarious, most especially when he was fed the full story of the morning by you who had come out to see what was taking him so long with his chore.
Kars, on the other hand, didn't find it so very funny.
He especially didn't see the humor in it when he found the two of you playing with Peanut in the yard, entertaining yourselves and the Cub by draping a sheet over him and prying it off like a parachute over and over.
Peanut was taken back to the forest a 3rd time; this time much farther into the woods.
Late afternoon rolled around and Santana finally left the house to go outside; having the sole intention of taking a nap in the fresh air via the hammock that had been recently strung up in the backyard.
Unfortunately, the youngest Pillarman got sidetracked when a little Bear came out of the woodwork and crawled into the hammock with him, mewling and demanding his immediate attention as he was hungry once again.
Kars, the one and only, spirited Peanut away before you and Santana had a chance to make more sandwiches to feed it.
This happened over and over and over again.
It seemed like every time the Pillarman dumped Peanut somewhere, no matter how remote or how far from your Home, the little Bear inevitably found its way back sooner or later; ambling up to you or the others with a mighty hunger and a carefree nature unmatched.
Peanut appeared on the doorstep next morning when you were about to head out for a walk.
Peanut was found digging in the trash bin when Kars was taking out the trash.
Peanut clung to Wamuu's leg as he went out to mow the lawn; the Warrior didn't so much as bat an eye, unhindered, as the Cub held onto his ankle while he worked the mower.
Peanut approached Santana when he was eating chips on the porch; the Pillarmen didn't seem to mind the company nor the fact the Bear ended up upside down in the bag.
Peanut followed you around like you were its one true Mother while you tended the yard and carried out chores.
Peanut sat contently at Esidisi's feet as the man was Barbecuing supper in the evening; the Bear watching him and waiting for supper to be served as if he were the guest of Honor.
Each time, without fail, Kars brought him back to the woods and each time, without fail, Peanut came back.
It was only frustrating him further and further.
Eventually, one quiet and rainy morning Kars went out onto the porch to sit and read; he always enjoyed the sound of rainfall and the fresh earthen smell of a Spring downpour. He had barely been there 5 minutes, not even enough time to get truly immersed in his novel, when suddenly a very wet and cold ball of hair climbed up into his lap, actually making the Pillarman yelp at the shock of the sensation of a freezing cold Cub pressing against his bare skin.
Kars was big and dry and comfortable, like a much bigger and hairless Bear, a place Peanut deemed perfect enough to sit out of the Rain and warm up.
The purple-haired man frowned down at the chubby bundle taking up residence in his lap, Peanut grunted contently as he made himself comfortable. His normally downy soft and dandelion puffed fur was now patterned down and awry, radiating with a dank with a heady, musky Bear smell due to being soaking wet.
It was not at all a pleasant smell to anyone's nose, most especially to a Pillarman's as they were creatures with extra sensitive senses.
Kars, now feeling that this was the final straw, was just about to scoop the creature up into his arms and carry out their usual pick up and drop off routine; this time he intended to take Peanut all the way down river to the farthest side of the forest and leave him there.
He stopped on a dime when two big pools of honey locked onto glimmering rubies.
"Don't look at me like that..." the Pillarman warned, feeling his heart quiver strangely in his chest. The command didn't come out nearly as firm as he intended it to be.
Kars treasured creatures big and small and this creature was so adorable, so small it made his arms itch in ways he hadn't felt since the time he had taken care of the two infants that grew to be Wamuu and Santana. Peanut rolled in his lap, squishing his face against the Pillarman's abs and nuzzling softly; his fur stuck to bare skin in an almost icky way and made his loincloth feel very damp and uncomfortable due to the run off of water.
The Pillarman pursed his lips, forcing himself to bring to mind all the logical points on why this Bear (this nuisance, this danger, this predator) had to go.
Peanut opened his mouth and let out a little yawn and a sneeze, probably just as hungry as he was cold and damp.
Kars' huge hands balled into fists at his sides, his jaw setting tighter and tighter as he felt himself and the walls of his determination crumbling, hating every single millisecond of it before eventually, after an internal struggle that lasted seemingly millennium... he sighed.
Peanut was scooped into his arms and, this time, taken into the House.
☆☆☆
"Really?!" You cried in disbelief, hands going to your mouth as it pulled into an impossibly huge grin.
Esidisi, Wamuu and Santana just sat there, expressions ranging from shock to disbelief of their own.
Surely he couldn't be serious... could he?
Kars let out a long breath, "Yes, dearest." He groaned, still cradling the tiny dampened Bear in the crook of his arm as it clung to his bicep. "We can keep Peanut."
Immediately, to everyone’s amusement but Kars', you were in his lap just as quickly as the Cub had climbed into it. You didn't care one bit that he was a little damp and that some of Peanuts musky stink had rubbed off on him, peppering his face with thousands of kisses as you threw your arms around both the Pillarman and the Cub.
"Oh Kars! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" You squealed between your line of kisses.
Nobody had expected Kars to cave in this matter; they honestly expected this to go on and on for some time until Peanut was forced to be the one to give up on finding his way back to the house.
However, despite the fact all of them were pleased and ready to take on this idea of having an actual living Bear around, there came the next matters to attend to.
The ground rules.
"But he cannot stay inside the house." Kars said, that firm nature of his making its return. Peanut had managed to wriggle out of both of your holds and was now ambling around the Livingroom, sniffing everything and everyone in sight. Esidisi was following him around to ensure he wouldn't break anything or get himself into more trouble while Kars was feeling so generous, smiling indulgently as he scooped him up and presented him to the others.
"Ok." You hummed, that part was only to be expected.
But you wouldn't deny that somewhere in the back of your mind you had fantasized about cuddling up to a giant fuzzy Peanut in bed or on the couch.
Kars took in another deep breath and the atmosphere changed, it was as if the temperature dropped in the room. The mans eyes were serious and his features became even more stonelike than the masks he crafted as he pulled you closer to him in his lap.
"I want you to listen to me, dear one." He began, his voice was low and something akin to fridged; it only sent shivers dancing down your spine. "If Peanut grows to be an aggressive creature or too much a hassle to handle, even if he gives any of us the slightest reason to fear he would harm you in any way, shape or form... we'll have to be rid of him. Permanently."
His words hung in the air, making your stomach sink like a rock falling helplessly to the depths of the ocean. A lump was starting to balloon in your throat.
You knew very well what that meant.
The Pillarmen weren't men who took any form of pleasure out of killing Animals; Kars especially... but you knew that he would not hesitate to do so for your sake. His words spoken to you prior on the porch when you first encountered the Cub rang around quite deafeningly in your head.
"Do I make myself clear?" He asked you, his pupils burned absolute holes into your heart as he held your gaze; not unlike a strict parent after giving the scolding of a lifetime.
The best you could do was nod, praying the day you all feared would never come at all or at least not very soon; the latter was perhaps your best hope.
For now, however, you planned on celebrating the day by making a peanut butter sandwich for the newest, and perhaps hungriest, member of your little Family.
☆☆☆
Time passed, as it did for everything, and Peanut grew and grew. He grew from a small and clumsy little Bear Cub into a bigger and gangly Juvenile Bear by mid Summer.
Sometimes the Bear would disappear at night into the woods, just after supper of course, but there were also times he would just sleep close to the house; most specifically by the front porch. Peanut still followed you around outside as you did anything, always greeting you with a grunt as he flopped onto his back to reveal his belly and were always more than happy to rub it when he did.
His appetite did indeed grow and the simple peanut butter namesake was no longer truly fulfilling to him; nothing more than a sweet morsel to lick up as a treat.
Peanut had to be shown how to properly hunt for himself and that was something you and Esidisi decided to tackle together, taking him down to the river on the hottest days to teach him to to fish for himself. Those days were filled with much laughter on your part where you sat on the bank to watch the Pillarmen wading out in the raging waters with the Bear, hunched forward and making a grab for a slippery and wet flying fish with his hands as they jumped from the water to properly demonstrate.
Eventually, after much trial and error (not to mention Esidisi falling right into the river a handful of times) Peanut was able to catch all the fish he wanted to eat.
Wamuu was a big help in burning off the major energy that came with Peanut growing into an adult Bear. The Warrior often spent hours out in the yard playing with him, going so far as to push and wrestle with the creature, playing simple games like throwing a giant ball around or to even take him on a run through the woods to tire him out.
Sometimes you even tailed behind the pair on your 4 wheeler to get in on the fun and play.
Santana found himself spending his days playing with Peanut too, more often content to help you take care of the beast. You and Santana tried to bath Peanut at least once every 2 weeks to fight against his stinky Bear musk, lathering him up nicely where he sat contently in an old kiddie pool in the yard and hosing him off. Santana would spend a lot of time with Peanut as the Bear napped, scratching his back and finger combing the knots out of his fur; even plucking annoying ticks from the Bears body when he found them.
You found it quite disturbing, and more than a little gross, as to how Santana could hold the bloated insects between his fingers and pop them upon finding them. You swore you could hear the red-head chuckle lowly each time you let out a disgusted gag when he done it.
And Kars, he found himself dotting over and spoiling Peanut with affection just as much as you did.
The Pillarman would deny any claims that he snuck the Bear peanut butter sandwiches between meals or even peanut butter straight from the jar but you knew the truth. It was hard to miss as it seemed Peanut would immediately give Kars a good sniffing upon seeing him, obviously checking for any delicious treats he happened to be keeping concealed.
By late Fall, Peanut was a fully grown Adult Bear.
In fact, he had swollen to such an immense size, he was something of a rival to the Pillarmen; by that time it was something of a relief he was a gentle giant. He was still a wild Animal but he was also a loving pet to you and the 4 Pillarmen.
One day, Peanut stumbled out into the woods and didn't return. Snow came not long after and then the brutal and fridged season of Winter truly begun.
Peanut had disappeared but you knew he wasn't far in the woods, hopefully holed up in a cave and hibernating.
Winter passed slowly, more slowly than it ever had before. As December ticked away to January and eventually February, the others didn't miss how much you missed your Peanut; he was all you could talk about somedays! You weren't the only one who missed him however, not missing the wistful looks passing over the faces of the others upon seeing a segment on Black Bears airing on National Geographic or opening the fridge to find the jar of peanut butter sitting there; untouched and almost begging to be eaten.
March went bye, then April and the snow had long melted away due to the heavy rainfall but still, Peanut did not make his return.
You were seriously starting to worry by this time. What if he hadn't been hibernating all along? What if a Hunter had gotten to him? Or what if... he forgot about you?
The Pillarmen could only console you so much, trying their best not to give you false hope by saying things along the lines of "I'm sure he'll be around!" and make things worse as they really did not know of Peanut's fate either...
It was well over a year since you had first taken in the Cub and now there was no sign of him anywhere.
But just when you were starting to give up all hope of seeing your prized Bear and companion again, you opened the door one morning as you prepared to go on your morning walk to be met with shock.
You just about jumped out of your skin as an earth rattling roar hit your eardrums, sending a jolt of fear striking through your body like lightning and screaming in primal terror at the sight before you. A Black Bear that was larger than life stood on its haunches off the porch, its maw open and its breath showing like hot puffs of steam as it growled out into the cold Spring air; asserting its presence for miles.
For one terrible and too long of a moment, you thought you would be slaughtered on your own doorstep by your most favorite Animal on Earth.
Your terror was short-lived however, as the monstrous beast you feared would devour you whole suddenly flopped onto its back and turned its belly to the sky.
"PEANUT!" You cried, spreading your arms wide as you ran to flop on top of the creature; your friend and pet.
It wasn't long after when all 4 Pillarmen were standing out on the porch, your screech having been heard from inside the house.
"Look Kars!" You beamed, rubbing the gargantuan tummy with a wide grin; eliciting a content grunt from the Bear. "Peanut came back!
Kars could only smile this time and shake his head.
Peanut had come back again, without fail; just as he always done and the Pillarmen were quite happy he was here to stay...

The Attero Dominatus Files: Entry 1 - Amy Rose
Hey folks! As promised, I am here to post the first of the Attero Dominatus Files series, starring our intrepid heroine, Amy Rose! I'm super excited to finally present her to y'all, because I did a piece on New Years showcasing her badass design. Hope you like!
Tumblr media
General Bio:
Age: 18
Birthday: September 23rd
Affiliation/Faction: Spes Aeterna (leader)
Codename: Bloody Thorns
Weapon of Choice: P-346 Hammer (mechanized version of the Piko Piko Hammer)
Amy Rose was, at one point in her life, a bright, wide-eyed romantic idealist, so much so that she traveled to Little Planet in search of an destined encounter, or so the cards told her. When she met Sonic for the first time, it was love at first sight. Sonic didn't feel the same way, but this didn't deter Amy, who had full confidence that he would win against Robotnik and Metal Sonic-after all, he'd braved all manner of dangerous territory to save her. How could he possibly lose?
Like glass, her confidence and her dreams were shattered.
A month would pass, and many of Robotnik's machinations were overrunning the peaceful planet, wreaking havoc and killing many civilians. The sight of such injustice burned her to her core, and she decided that she was no longer going to remain on the sidelines, wasting her time. Taking up her trusted Piko Piko Hammer, she headed into the battlefield, refusing to go down until she reached Robotnik's headquarters at Metallic Madness.
She didn't even get to confront the professor directly, for a sudden blast of blue fire would throw her off kilter, setting her fresh wounds alight with pain. She was stunned and shocked to find that it was her hero who stood before her, looking like a shadow of his former self with one glowing red eye and a half-metallicized body. She entered battle with him, trying to bring out the hero she knew was still there. A flash of regret crossed his face, giving her some hope...only for it to be quickly wiped away by a horrible scream, as though he was under control of some invisible force. He quickly overpowered her, destroying her weapon, and lighting her on fire...but before he unleashed the deadly attack that would leave burns all over her body, she heard him say "I'm sorry".
She awoke days later in the hangar of a young twin-tailed fox named Miles Prower, who was a close friend of Sonic's. Miles, who had also gone searching for Sonic, relayed the horrible news: Robotnik had defeated Sonic, and had made him his personal agent of destruction alongside his fearsome metal doppleganger. Though refusing to believe this at first, Amy would later encounter Sonic again at Palmtree Panic, where they first met. This time, there was no trace of the Sonic she'd fallen for, and what followed was a fight that not only resulted in losing her right arm, but also much of her fighting spirit. It took a pep talk from Miles, however, to make her realize that it wasn't time to give up. So many people had died because of Robotnik, and Sonic and countless others were suffering under his rule. This motivation would lead her to form a resistance team known as "Spes Aeterna", Latin for "Eternal Hope", as Robotnik spread his rule to include Mobius as well.
Ten years of hell on earth followed, with many losses and wins along the way. Amy would go through a lot of changes, growing into a fearless, no-BS-tolerating leader that could strike fear into the coldest of mechs with a glare. Her fierce temper, though sometimes a setback, serves her well on the battlefield, allowing her to make quick work of her enemies. She hasn't lost her caring nature though, looking out for the younger members of her organization (namely Cream, who she cares for as a younger sister), and often going on side missions to help the people of both Little Planet and Mobius as they struggle under Robotnik's tyrannical rule.
Though the flames of war devour the earth, this wild rose, with its bloody thorns and stubborn resolve, stands tall and proud on the battlefield, refusing to give in to tyranny.
Notes:
-I Googled "amy rose badass" and "female post-apocalyptic costume" to get a general reference. A lot of apocalyptic works seem to always have loads of fanservice when women are involved, and while I'm not bothered by that normally, that's not the kind of outfit I want for Amy, because I don't see her wearing those kinds of clothes anyway. As I told @blazing-shadows, she'd only want to show off to Sonic...and certainly NOT on the battlefield, lol.
-Her darker fur color is inspired by the fact that she's been in a lot of battles, namely the first battle with Sonic in this AU, and later a few times with Metal Sonic. She does kinda look like Sakura, but trust me, she won't be useless or toxic ^^
-Amy also sustained a lot of burns from her first fights. Much of her fur grew back, but there's still some burn scars and reddish patches on her skin. She also has a permanent squint because of the first attack by Sonic.
-She'd still have her Piko Piko Hammer, but I also had an idea for a heavier hammer, similar to Graf Eisen in Nanoha. Actually, come to think of it, giving THIS Amy a Graf Eisen-clone is probably a bad idea ^^;
Next profile in the Attero Dominatus Files will be Tails - who goes by Miles in this story.
Hope you all enjoyed this! :)

300 followers bingo - Fox/Wolffe | Pirates AU
(Oof this came out way longer than I thought, you’ll soon see why. Hope you like it!)
As Fox and the rest of his troops inspect the site of the wreckage, the only thing he finds are dead men. Whatever has caused the Dread Wolf to finally sink must’ve done a pretty good job at it.
He can’t help but to think that it’s a shame, despite the fact that the Dread Wolf, and especially its captain, have been a thorn to his side for years, hindering the commerce with their incursions. King Palpatine had even declared by law that any act of piracy will be punishable by death, but that never stopped the crew of the Dread Wolf.
Still, Fox won’t lie and say that he never enjoyed the thrill of the chase, that sometimes he even looked forward to the Dread Wolf’s incursions, so he’d get his chance to duel the only man who he could ever consider his rival.
And now…
That lucky son of a whore.
The man Fox has just found on the shore it’s the same man that he was talking about: here he is - alive and breathing - the master of the Dread Wolfe, captain Wolffe himself - Fox has always wondered which name came first, the ship’s of the captain’s.
How he’s still alive, this Fox doesn’t know, but in the end, it’s not like it matters: now that he’s found him, he will arrest him, and then he’ll be sentenced to death. Either that, or he’ll rot in prison if the king feels merciful - if that can be either considered a mercy.
It’s his duty to take him in custody, to make him pay for his crime… and yet, Fox still hasn’t moved a muscle.
He can’t, he just can’t…
What’s stopping him from fulfilling his duty?
It’s his damn honor, that’s what it is: last time they’ve met, he and his crew had ambushed the ship Fox was in, but he let Fox go despite the fact that he could’ve easily taken him down, only taking the goods the ship was transporting before leaving.
He could’ve easily killed him, but he didn’t, and now Fox can’t bring himself to apprehend him like he’s supposed to do.
… Damn it all!
Before he can be joined by the rest of the royal guard, he takes Wolffe’s unconscious body and drags him behind a group of rocks so that he’ll be hidden, then he goes back to the site of the wreckage, deleting every trace of something being dragged to safety.
Thankfully, both for Wolffe and himself because, if someone finds out, Fox will be hanged for betrayal, he manages to do it before everybody else arrives.
“Found anything?” Thorn, his second in command, asks him.
“Nothing of interest,” Fox replies. “Just other wrecks of the ship.” He truly hopes that Thorn will not see behind his lies; out of everyone, he’s the person who knows him the most.
Thorn nods, thoughtful. “Yeah… Most men must’ve drowned. It’ll take some time before all of them wash up to the shore, if the fish don’t eat them first.”
Fox frowns at the image, but he supposes that Thorn is correct, which makes it plausible that they wouldn’t see Wolffe’s body. And Fox didn’t even need to advance that hypothesis himself, so he’ll look less suspicious for it.
At that point he sighs, gaze moving from the wreckage to Thorn. “If we’re done here, let’s move out. The sun’s setting, we’ll get back tomorrow morning.”
At those words, they all snap to attention. “Yessir!”
 --
Once he can take advantage of the cover of the night, Fox comes back to the site of the wreckage, thinking about how dead he is at each step. He shouldn’t be doing this, and yet here he is.
He finds Wolffe still unconscious, which does worry a bit, but he’s well aware that he can’t exactly bring him to a doctor, so all he can do is to find him a secure place where he can rest, and hopefully get well. If he needs to, he can bring him medicine… Wait, why is he thinking so far ahead? And also, why should he even buy stuff for him? Isn’t it enough that he’s giving him shelter?
Oh well, he can think about this later. Now he needs to take him somewhere safe, which, he regrets to admit, could be only one location: his house.
“Jesus how much do you weigh?” he mutters under his breath as he drapes one of Wolffe’s arms around his shoulders so that he can pull him up and drag him to what will be his temporary hideout.
The more he keeps going, the less he feels this is worth it, but he’s gone too far to stop now. He’s taken a decision and he’ll go along with it until the bitter end.
  --
When Wolffe wakes up, the first thing that comes to mind is how much everything hurts. He doesn’t remember going into a drunken blender the previous day, so that can’t be it…
In a flash, he remembers everything: the storm, their desperate attempts to stir the ship… the wreckage.
He jolts up, or well he would’ve done it if one of his wrists wasn’t bound to the headboard of the bed he somehow finds himself laid upon. Panicked, he raises his gaze to observe what is keeping him there; it’s a simple handcuff, but he knows by the looks of it that he can’t smash it, not without some dull object.
And yet, despite the knowledge, his mind is too fuzzy with panic for him to act accordingly; he tugs on the handcuff, then he tries again, and again, but to no avail.
He begins looking around for something he can use, when a weight presses against his shoulders, forcing him down. “Don’t. Move.”
You can imagine his surprise when he sees that the man over him is Fox, commander of the king’s guard himself.
At that, he tries to shake him off, to free himself even harder than he was doing before, which ends up with Fox reacting by pinning him down by the wrists. “For fuck’s sake, Wolffe, I’m trying to help you here!”
“And how exactly are you helping me?” Wolffe growls back. “Looks like you took me prisoner!”
“Yeah, because I didn’t know what you would’ve done when you woke up!” Fox retorts. “I wasn’t going to leave you unguarded and alone…”
Silence falls between the two, tense at first, but then Wolffe - and consequently Fox - begins to relax, until Fox speaks again. “I found you in the midst of what remained of your ship, and since you spared me once, I’m returning the favor. If you promise me you’re not going to make a mess, I’m going to uncuff you.”
 Oh.
This is unexpected. Did Fox really do it?
No, it’s impossible, he must be lying!
… Right?
And yet, for some reason, he finds himself inclined to believe him, because he knows that, unlike many of his companions, Fox keeps his word. It’s one of the reasons why he enjoys dueling with him and why he respects him despite the fact that he’s the king’s dog.
Despite everything, he nods, then. “I promise,” he tells Fox, intending not to betray his trust. If it’s true that he saved him, it’s the least he can do.
Fox looks at him for a moment, probably pondering if he should trust him or not, but in the end he decides to free him, so he slowly goes to unlock the handcuff that is keeping Wolffe to his bed with the key he was keeping in his pocket.
Once he’s free, Wolffe pushes him off, but otherwise he doesn’t seem to do anything else except sit and massage his sore wrist. Just how long has he been like this? He’s afraid to ask.
Silence falls between them, even as Fox sits beside him. In normal circumstances, they would have nothing to do with each other, so it makes sense that they wouldn’t be exactly inclined to talk to each other, and yet, Wolffe has to ask…
“Was there any other survivor?”
Fox sighs. He was expecting this question. “Not that I know of,” he replies, then, figuring that for this kind of stuff, sugarcoating it would’ve been useless.
Wolffe lowers his gaze as a heavy silence settles between them. He looks so miserable but unwilling to show it that Fox almost feels the urge to try to reassure him, but he doesn’t, knowing that no matter what he says, it wouldn’t make it all better like some kind of magic.
Eventually, the atmosphere is so heavy that Fox can’t stomach staying there anymore. “I-I’m going to bring you something to eat,” he mutters. “Stay here.”
With that, he gets up and leaves the room, towards the kitchen. Watching the state Wolffe is in now makes him wonder if it wouldn’t have been more merciful to just kill him, but it’s not like he can go back on his decision now; it’s way too late for that.
  --
With time Wolffe’s body begins to heal, and he finds himself with more and more energy. The same can’t be said about his mind, however, not when this all still feels like a nightmare to him.
Did he really lose all his men? No, it can’t be, and yet he knows that Fox is not lying - what reason would he have to do that when he’s gone all the way to rescue him and not send him to prison immediately?
What should he do, now? What even is he anymore? A captain without neither a ship, nor a crew.
Why did he even survive? Why did Fox take pity on him?
He should’ve just let him die…
  --
Fox is… surprisingly cordial to him.
At first Wolffe found it weird, unnatural even - they’re supposed to be enemies, not this - and yet he can’t help but to be appreciative of the effort Fox is doing not to antagonize him, just as much as Wolffe tries to do the same, knowing that if he crosses him, he risks losing this safe harbor.
Once he heals more, he’s even allowed to explore Fox’s house, though of course he’s confined to his room whenever the commander has guests; it’s in their best interest that he remains hidden.
He still thinks Fox is a fucking dog, but… he’s not so bad, after all.
Living in such close quarters has made him discover parts of him that he wouldn’t even have known about otherwise, like that he hates sweets except from honeyed stuff, that he’s very particular about what to wear - he has to appear perfect always - and that he has a secret soft spot for cats - he must’ve forgotten that Wolffe was inside when he took a weak stray inside to feed him and then let it go outside once it was strong enough to move again.
He supposes that Fox has found out some things about him as well, like the fact that he snores in his sleep, something that he complains about quite often, that he likes meat and that he’s unexpectedly good at flower arrangement, demonstrated when Fox didn’t know what to do for the guard’s doctor’s birthday; he suggested he could give her a bouquet that she could keep in her study, and even helped him arrange some flowers.
“Where did you learn?” Fox asks, dumbfounded by this. It makes him wonder why he didn’t open a flowers shop instead of becoming a pirate; at least he would’ve had an honest work.
“That’s a secret,” Wolffe replies, winking.
They both freeze, at that. Did Wolffe just…
This easy camaraderie shouldn’t be possible between them, and yet here they are, acting like a pair of friends.
It’s weird, just… yes, weird.
Maybe they shouldn’t get so close to each other.
  --
Fox has lost count of how many nights he’s spent without being able to fall asleep because of Wolffe.
To be fair, he can’t exactly blame him for something that, after all, isn’t in his control, but this nightmare business hurts both of them.
He should do something about it, but what? He’s no expert in this matter, and he doubts he has what it gets to calm him down.
A sigh escapes his lips as he gets up from his bed.
Before he can change his mind, he makes it to the guest room.
He finds Wolffe twisting and turning in his bed without any hope of stopping soon.
Fox’s gaze is sad as he looks at him. If he lost his entire battalion, would he be the same? Would he be able to pull through? He doesn’t know…
He’s always had the feeling that Wolffe was pretty close to his crew, definitely closer than he is with the king’s guard, but it would still hurt, even though not as much.
He almost reaches for Wolffe, before having a last minute hesitation; they say that you shouldn’t wake up people who are having a nightmare, so shouldn’t he just let it pass? But he feels bad not doing anything!
In the end he decides to put an end to his suffering, and he shakes him.
He was expecting Wolffe to jolt awake in a violent manner, but he wasn’t expecting him to actually attack him, though in hindsight he should’ve known this was going to happen - he would’ve probably done the same. Wolffe punches him, then he even tries to choke him, but Fox grabs his hands, keeping him still.
“Wolffe…” he says, voice weirdly soft, as he tries his best to keep the other at bay. “It’s me… Wolffe… Stop!”
At that, Wolffe freezes and let’s Fox go. “Fox…”
“It’s fine,” Fox hurries to say, trying to be reassuring. “It’s fine…”
He doesn’t know how it happens exactly - he must’ve been so shocked that he barely registered it - but here they are with Wolffe held in Fox’s arms as he sobs quietly - or at least he tries to do it - while Fox caresses his hair in a silent attempt to bring him some comfort. He’d say something, but first of all he’s afraid of ruining things by running his mouth and potentially saying something that would turn out to be the wrong thing, secondly, he doesn’t even know what to say.
Saying something like “it’s fine” feels disingenuous at best, outright insulting at worst. No, it’s not fine, and who knows if it’ll ever be; he won’t lie to Wolffe like that, so he just keeps holding it, wondering if there even is a point to this, if this is actually helping.
He wasn’t expecting Wolffe to drag him down for a kiss.
These last few weeks have been full of stuff he wasn’t expecting, but this has to take the cake. Most unexpected of all, though, it’s the fact that he finds himself returning the kiss, that when Wolffe falls down on the bed, taking him with him, he goes along without batting an eye.
He feels his hands on his body and he doesn’t push him away, doesn’t try to stop him. Actually, he welcomes every move.
Weirdly enough, he feels like he’s been waiting for this to happen, but he has not, hasn’t he?
  --
It’s not the first night they spend like this. After the first, it’s like something has changed inside them, a burning desire for the other that can be hardly satisfied.
In a way it’s not that different from when they’d constantly seek each other out in battle, only that now their duels are of a very different kind.
With this, however, a feeling of dread keeps hanging over Fox’s shoulders: he’s aware of what would happen to him - and Wolffe too - if they get caught, and the more Wolffe stays with him, the more likely it’s to happen.
Eventually, he’ll have to let him go, and Wolffe, well, he’ll go back to what he used to do, he supposes. If he managed to make a name for himself out there, he can do it again - besides, it’s not like he doesn’t have allies in the pirating business that would surely help him out.
Despite this, however, he finds himself unwilling to let Wolffe leave. For once, he wants to be selfish…
  --
Things change on one night, a night that Fox has no intention of spending at home. He has too much to think about, and feels the need for some fresh air.
Besides, it’s been a while since he let himself be seen outside beside his duties; he wouldn’t want people to think that something’s up…
It’s weird, in a way, being so far from Wolffe…
Eh, look at him. Some shitty king’s guard he makes.
Before he has the time to react, he’s pulled into a dark alleyway, showed against the wall by two men that, on a more attentive exam, are two people that Fox didn’t even think were alive: Wolffe’s right-hand men, Boost and Sinker.
“Good evening, Foxie…” Sinker greets him with a grin, using the nickname that he knows makes Fox growl in fury, which in fact he does. He hates being called like that.
Boost, on the other hand, doesn’t share Sinker’s playful behavior. “Tell us where you’re keeping Wolffe locked up and we might not gut you like the dog you are,” he growls, pushing a knife against Fox’s throat, though Fox looks unimpressed.
“Very classy, like always,” he replies in fact, but that’s not all he has to say, even though he doubts it’ll help. “And, for your information, Wolffe is with me, and not locked in a cell.”
Boost and Sinker look at each other, and Fox knows already that this is going to be a looooong night.
  --
Somehow he’s convinced them to come with him and see with their eyes, though they’re still wary of him, enough that, if he makes the wrong move, they’re going to gut him. It’s fair, he would do the same in their situation, he supposes.
He can’t lie: he’s surprised to see that there have been other survivors, considering what they have found. It makes him wonder how exactly they managed to hide from them, but when he tried to ask they shut him down immediately. It’s fine, he doesn’t care about it that much - liar and hypocrite.
At least Wolffe will be happy to see them…
  --
Just as he thought, as soon as Wolffe sees Sinker and Boost with Fox, he runs towards them, just like the other two as soon as they see their captain alive and well. They meet halfway, almost colliding into each other for the excessive speed.
“I can’t believe it…” Wolffe mutters, drawing the two into a tight hug. “You’re alive!”
“We are!” Sinker tearfully replies. “And you! You are…!”
“So he wasn’t lying after all,” Boost mutters, turning towards Fox, who sagely doesn’t say anything despite how much he wants to retort to that, since he doesn’t want to ruin the moment. Actually, maybe he should leave, let them have a moment.
Before he can do that, though, he hears Wolffe scold Boost. “Don’t say that! He… He helped me quite a lot. He saved me, in fact.”
Yes, they’re all surprised at that admission, even Fox, despite the fact that he’s gotten used to the idea that yes, he did save him. Still, it’s weird to hear it directly from Wolffe’s ears.
“I… I should go. Give you some time alone,” he’s able to mutter, before retreating to the kitchen.
 Coward…
  --
When he hears the sounds of steps, he pokes out to see Boost and Sinker on their way to the main door.
“Where are you going?” he asks.
“None of your business,” Boost states, and after that, he walks out of Fox’s room, leaving Sinker lingering on the exit, but he still hasn’t moved.
He looks at Fox and he seems… hesitant, for some reason?
“Hey,” he begins, “… Thank you, for saving Wolffe.”
Fox’s old instincts push to retort that he hasn’t done it for them, but what would that accomplish? Nothing at all. If anything, it would be detrimental.
“It’s nothing…” he mutters, barely loud enough to be understood. Sinker looks at him, expression hard to read, then he leaves as well.
  --
He doesn’t go to Wolffe immediately, afraid of what he’d see in him once he lays his gaze upon him: the happiness he must be feeling for having found some of his old crewmates and… the desire to leave.
Here he is again, being a selfish fuck. He shouldn’t be like this, and he knows that eventually he will have to let him go - he can’t continue this charade forever, and it’s important for both their lives that Wolffe leaves - but he can’t deny that it will hurt having to do that.
To think that that feared day might come soon…
He shakes his head, trying to get a hold of himself.
In the end, he got attached to Wolffe, something that he shouldn’t have done, something that is dangerous.
A sigh escapes his lips. Well, it’s not like he can do anything about it now, can’t he?
  --
When he goes to Wolffe, he does indeed look the happiest Fox has seen him since he’s saved him.
When Fox steps into the bedroom, he finds him sitting on his bed, but as soon as Wolffe notices his presence he walks up to him and he kisses him with a fervor that he never used before. Fox, although surprised by such an initiative, especially now, can only submit to the attentions, and so doesn’t object when Wolffe walks him to the bed and pushes him onto him, following suit.
He keeps him close and he kisses him and kisses him and kisses him and takes him until Fox feels like he’s drowning, but eh, if he has to be honest, this wouldn’t be a bad way to go…
  --
“So… Are you leaving?” Fox asks. He’s waited until he and Wolffe were done, and what better way to ask than now, while they’re both still recovering lying one beside the other? Sure, he might sour the mood, but Fox needs to know.
“… Yes,” Wolffe replies, suspiciously cautious. Is he hiding something?
There are many things Fox would like to say, so many that it creates such a mess in his mind that he just nods without actually uttering a thing. He has much to think about after all.
Apparently, Wolffe is of the same vein, because he keeps quiet as well. It’s like all the enthusiasm from before has vanished, leaving space to quiet contemplation.
Fox would do anything to know what he’s thinking about; he could ask, but he feels like if he does, he’d only make Wolffe less willing to share. No, he’s got to wait, admitting that Wolffe will share the conclusions he’ll reach after this moment.
He’s lucky, because soon, after a long sigh that doesn’t preannounce anything good, he turns toward Fox, a determined and serious look in his eyes.
“Come with me.”
Fox, taken off guard by such a request, can only reply with a “Where?” before mentally slapping himself. As if it’s not obvious where he wants him to go. “I can’t,” he quickly adds then, shaking his head.
“Why?” Wolffe asks.
Fox doesn’t know what to say; wouldn’t it be too easy to just leave his life behind, and for what even, exactly? No, he can’t do it, no matter how much he’d want to. “I…”
 He wants to leave.
The realization hits him like a punch in the gut.
This is his life, what he worked hard to obtain. He has friends, here, people he cares about… and yet, he wants to leave them all behind.
He can’t deny how tired he’s got of everything. The kingdom’s falling into pieces and he seems to be the only one who has noticed it. Is this why he wants to leave?
Yes, but also not entirely: these weeks spent with Wolffe have been special for Fox. He’s never felt more alive than in the company of the same man who’s lying down with him, at his side.
To be able to leave with him… It would be a dream…
 “What’s stopping you?”
Fear, Fox realizes. Fear is what’s stopping him.
Leaving with Wolffe would be such a drastic change from his usual life that he can’t help but to feel paralyzed at the prospect. How could he even get used to it? And if he regrets the change?
On the other hand, however, wouldn’t he regret not leaving? Wouldn’t he regret not following Wolffe? Yes, he would.
He can’t lie: he feels a certain thrill at the idea of living a criminal life with his beloved, but could it really become more than just a fantasy? Could they make it work?
He wants to make it work.
Yes, Fox wants this to work, he wants to be free and happy with Wolffe, and that won’t happen until they leave.
He takes Wolffe’s face between his hands and he kisses him, then he kisses him again and again, but when they pull away, he seems to be talking more to himself than to the other.
“Yes… Nothing’s stopping me.” He can leave if he wants - and he wants it. Nothing’s stopping him…
He looks back at Wolffe and every shadow of doubt is gone from his face. If he lets this occasion slip through his fingers, he’ll never forgive himself, he knows it.
Wolffe looks at him expectantly. “So that means…”
“Yes,” Fox says, “let’s do it.”
  --
If you told Fox that one day he was going to find himself running away from the kingdom he’s served since he has memory, following his archnemesis turned lover, he would’ve laughed at you and then thrown you into jail. Funny how some things change, huh?
Here he is now, looking at his house one last time, before leaving it - and his previous life - forever behind.
There’s still some space - a very tiny one - for doubt in his head, but he’s made up his mind: he’s going to live his life to the fullest, and in order to do that, he needs to leave. Wolffe will surely show him a new side of life that he didn’t even know existed, Fox is certain of it.
He turns around, looking at Wolffe, who’s standing behind him, waiting for him to say goodbye to his old life.
When he notices Fox’s gaze on him, he sends him an interrogative gaze. “Ready?” he asks.
Fox stays silent. He walks up to Wolffe, taking his hand once he’s close enough and raising it to his lips, kissing his knuckles.
“Yes, let’s leave this place.”
He’s made up his mind, and nothing can stop him.

Author’s Notes: First trip on the angst train folks. I've had this in my head for ages because I wanted to try something that wasn't relationship focused and I'm still not over this whole storyline with the chips, they were so darn close to exposing ol' sheev. Fox deserves some spotlight but i'm very sorry it had to be on this. I have got a part 2 practically written up already but wanted to test the waters with this bit first. Let me know what you think!! Fic below the cutoff :).
The title is from the song Monster by Starset. If you're after some good sci-fi related songs for the feels, Startset is where it's at.
Under the knife I surrendered The innocence yours to consume You cut it away And you filled me up with hate Into the silence you sent me Into the fire consumed You thought I'd forget But it's always in my head
Each step was quiet, calculated as CC-1010 moved into the storage bay. His men following his lead as they prepared to surround their target. General Skywalker was verbally defending the Chancellor from where he was captured in a ray shield. The target was unaware of their presence, time to move in.
Set to stun.
“Stand down, soldier! Get on your knees!” CC-1010 commanded, surrounded by his Shock Troopers. The target looked over at the unattended pistols. “Don’t do it solider.”
“GET AWAY FROM ME!”
“FIVES NO!”
Threat. Eliminate the threat.
Good soldiers, follow orders.
Set to Kill. CC-1010 never missed.
No.
Rex was screaming.
General Skywalker was ordering the Guard to lower the ray shields, not that CC-1010 could hear him over the ringing in his ears.
No.
The Captain was at his ARC-Trooper’s side, cradling his head. The blaster wound a disgusting contrast to the pure, shiny, white plastoid of his armour. The blaster wound that CC- no, that Fox inflicted.
No no no no no no.
The pistol fell from his hands and clattered to the ground as Fox came back to himself, the only sound which could be heard among the silence apart from Rex’s begging to Fives to stay with him.
Fox tore off his helmet. He couldn’t breathe. Fuck. The weight of what he just did crashed into him like a tsunami, threatening to take him down, tear him apart.
He stared at his gloved hands which shook uncontrollably. He tried to stop them but his brain didn’t have control of his body anymore. His men were looking at him, he could feel their gaze tearing into him like a jury to a defendant. Watching as their Commander fell apart.
He fell to his knees. No longer able to support his own body weight alongside the weight of his actions. He’d just killed another clone. One of his own vode. His own flesh and blood. That’d never happened before. Sure there had been traitors before among the clone ranks, but they’d never been executed on site. They’d never been pursued by Fox. Lucky them.
The chancellors’ orders echoed in his ears. “Eliminate the threat, Commander.”
Not bring him in for questioning. Eliminate him. No court hearing, no hearing Fives’ side like Slick and others before him. Just execution. And Fox was his executioner. Fuck he was going to vomit.
“Rex” Fox didn’t realise he was speaking until Rex’s eyes met his over Fives’ lifeless body, which he continued to cradle like his last hopes in this war.
Rex’s eyes were cold as ice, the power behind them attempting to freeze Fox to his very core. He didn’t blame him.
The heartbreak at losing another member of Torrent Company cracking the Captain’s usually unshakeable composure. As it fell apart piece by piece in front of Fox’s eyes, he was left staring at his little brother. His Rex’ika. Distraught, heartbroken, empty. He wanted nothing more than to protect him like back on Kamino, when Rex was a young cadet who feared the thunderstorms of their home planet. But Fox couldn’t protect Rex from this, Fox was the reason behind his brother’s agony, his loss. Fox was the monster.
“I-…” he couldn’t get the words out. He couldn’t explain himself. What could he say? I didn’t have a choice, I had to follow orders? That wasn’t going to fix the hole left in Rex’s heart. For losing Fives and for losing Fox too, because the Commander was sure he was dead to him.
Rex finally pulled his eyes away and it broke Fox’s heart. The Captain looked back down at his friend in his arms, his brother. He brought his forehead forward as he raised Fives’s, meeting him in one final Keldabe as he recited the Mando’a that had become far too familiar for them all. Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la. He cradled Fives close to his chest and hooked a hand under his legs as he got to his feet.
Rex’s face was stony, emotionless as he carried his fallen brother out of the storage bay. He held himself together as he brushed past the helmet-less Shock Troopers who stood stock still around their shaken Commander. He didn’t even spare Fox a glance. General Skywalker was hot on his Captain’s heels, going to offer support where he could. Just like that they were gone.
“Sir-“ one of the troopers went to place a hand on his Commander’s shoulder.
“Tell the Chancellor it’s done” Fox snapped out, the words tasting like bitter bile in his mouth. He did his best to regain himself as he grabbed his bucket, re-securing it and his emotions behind as strong a wall as he could fortify in his current state. Still shaking hands clasped around the dropped blaster and Fox finally returned to his feet, slightly unsteady.
“Return to base” his orders were flat as they came through the helmet. His soldiers didn’t react for a moment. He looked each of his men over, their shock at watching what happened bared to the world on their faces. He couldn’t take it. “Now.” Finally they nodded and made the move to leave the Gods-forsaken place.
Everything was a blur; people, places, all fading into nothingness behind Fox as he paced back to his office. His safe space. His feet carried him while his mind drifted, almost leaving his body in an attempt to protect himself from the internal horrors that threatened his grasp on reality.
Next he knew he was back in his office, no idea what route he’d taken to get there. The door had barely shut behind him before he stumbled to the small refresher attached and vomited. Choked sobs wracked his body as he emptied his stomach, tears creating salty tracks down his cheeks.
Once his body stopped torturing him, he finally backed away from the toilet and crawled to lean against the ‘fresher wall. His legs sprawled out in front of him as he threw his head back against the cool tiles. The sharp pain from the action doing nothing to bring him back, to distract him from the agony in his mind.
————
“Fox, Fox!! It’s Thorn, are you there?” The heavy gunner shouted from outside, his fists banging on the door demanding entry.
Nothing.
Thorn had heard what had happened, half the Guard already knew by now. Fox had been ordered to execute another clone by the Chancellor. As soon as the confirmation reached his ears, the Commander dropped everything to find his superior. He’d been friends with Fox long enough to know when he was nearing his breaking point, and he knew that this would throw him off the edge of his sanity.
“Kriff, Fox. I’m coming in!” He announced before punching the code in and rushing in to find his friend.
What Thorn found wasn’t pretty. Fox was propped up against the fresher wall, his head covered in a thin sheen of sweat, his amber eyes glassed over as he sobbed. He looked absolutely wrecked.
Thorn dropped to his side and took hold of his hands in an attempt to ground his friend. “Fox, hey Fox, can you hear me?”
Nothing.
“I heard what happened. I need you to come back to us, yeah. Maker, we need you Fox.” That got his attention, Fox’s watery eyes met his, but the Commander wasn’t fully present behind them yet.
“It wasn’t me” Fox choked out in barely a whisper, tears flowing freely again. Thorn moved forward and pulled the Commander into his arms, their armour fitting awkwardly against one another but it was enough. The broken man clung to his brother as he continued to repeat his words in a tear filled mantra against Thorn’s armour.
After what felt like forever, the shudders that tore through Fox’s body eventually died down to something more manageable. Thorn took that as his moment to try and get his Commander sat up again, maybe even get some water in him. He began to pull away slightly so he could look him in the eyes but as soon as he did, Fox started babbling again. At least it was a few more words than before.
“I set the gun to stun, I swear. I don’t know what happened. Once I saw Fives, everything went dark.” He tried to explain with as much coherence as he could. “They’ll never forgive me for this.” Thorn knew who he was talking about, his batch mates. Cody, Wolffe, Bly, Ponds and Gree. Fox had felt that their relationship was strained ever since he joined the Guard and his brothers went out to fight on the front lines. He’d become the cold leader of the Coruscant Elite Guard, he had the ‘cushy desk job’ while they had to watch their men die day in and day out on the battlefield. The sad truth was that they’d never understand the things the Guard had to go through each day. One night after a particularly tough day, he’d listened as Fox admitted that he wished he could provide his men with honourable deaths in battle to save them from their fates within the Guard.
Thorn’s chest felt like a vice as he cradled his friend, trying to absorb some of his pain as if it would help make things a bit easier on him. He’d never seen Fox like this and it was killing him. Why did the Chancellor always place the worst jobs on the Commander, why did he have to keep him so close, right under his thumb ready to make him do the dirty work. Never thinking about the aftermath, because the clones didn’t matter. So long as Fox kept showing up and performing admirably on the surface, the day to day pain and suffering wasn’t of concern to the Republic, least of all to the Grand Chancellor.
“Fox, I’m going to call Triage alright? He’ll know what to do.” Thorn announced softly, not getting much of an acknowledgment for his words as Fox started to drift off in his arms, his body’s exhaustion overtaking him for a blissful moment.

Fox isn’t surprised when he finds someone inside his shitty apartment when he opens the door, not when that someone is Thorn, since he had insisted he gave him and the rest of the Guard - or former Guard you should say - squad a key to it, just as a security measure since he insists on living alone and barely contacts them.
He just went out that day to get some groceries - yes, now instead of guarding assholes for life he just does mundane things like that one - but still, he could’ve warned him that he was going to come.
“Hey, Fox!” he says, smiling warmly at him. Even as the war went on, that smile has never lost its particular shine. How he managed is still a mystery to Fox.
“Thorn,” the other greets him, stepping inside. Despite everything he can’t help an amused huff seeing Thorn all comfortable on his couch. “I see you’ve made yourself at home already.”
“Well, you know, since I was all alone in here…” Thorn replies, before getting up and dragging Fox into a hug. “I’ve missed you, vod.”
Fox doesn’t like how easily he melts at the contact, but by now he’s gotten used to it. He receives so little physical affection that when he actually does it’s so intense that he almost cries - almost.
“I’ve missed you too.”
Since he’s there, Thorn makes himself useful by helping him with the groceries, putting them in the places they belong to.
“So… wanna come to 79’s later?” he asks, closing the fridge but not before taking a bottle of water and drink it like this was his home and he could do anything he wants with no repercussions. It’s all Fox’s fault: he let him get away with it at first in the name of hospitality, and now it’s gotten out of control. Oh well, it’s not like he can order him to stop now - he doesn’t have a rank anymore.
A sigh leaves his lips then. This isn’t the first time Thorn has attempted something like this, but by now he should know how it’s going to end.
“No.”
If his dry answer fazes Thorn at all, he doesn’t show any sign of it.
“Okay. How about tomorrow?”
Fox shakes his head. “No.”
Now Thorn’s enthusiasm begins to look a bit deflated, but he still doesn’t lose hope.
“Would you like to come any day this week?”
“No.”
This time a sigh leaves Thorn’s lips.
“Alright maybe let’s not go to 79’s,” he says, “How about somewhere else? Dex? You used to love Dex! Or we could go to this nice place Thire told me about--”
“Thorn.”
“Yes?”
“I’m not coming.” Fox gestures to the other. “If you want to have fun go, I’m not stopping you. Just leave me out of it.”
Thorn takes a deep breath.
“Why are you so determined to be stuck in your little hole?!” he asks, exasperation overflowing at every word, “You have the right to have a life! Nobody’s going to deny you that anymore!”
Unlike Thorn, Fox isn’t a fool; he knows that his situation is not as easy as he makes it out to be: even if the Clones Rights Bill has been approved, it’ll take some time before the rest of the galaxy will see them as actual people, and Fox himself isn’t also exactly loved by his vode.
He doesn’t blame them: he was the one who raised his blaster against one of his own; he didn’t kill him only because he had missed his heart by a small margin.
If he wasn’t exactly well-loved before - it goes with being a Corrie, as they called it - from that point on he became absolutely hated. He doesn’t blame them nor he tries to justify himself, even as he has to admit he doesn’t have many memories of that day in the first place; still, he’s not a coward and he refuses to hide behind such a pathetic excuse.
The thing is this: Fox doesn’t belong anywhere anymore; he knows there isn’t a place in which he’s welcome.
It’s fine, solitude isn’t that bad, even if it wasn’t supposed to be part of any of their lives, but he’s gotten used to it.
Besides…
“I do get out. In fact, I just came home after I got out.” It’s a weak retort, but someone has to make that point. As expected in fact, Thorn’s completely unimpressed with that comeback.
“Grocery shopping doesn’t count.”
“Not just that,” Fox weakly mutters.
He’s not lying though! Two days ago he got out to meet with Bly! Sure, they have avoided going to 79’s or any other clone created space, but they still saw each other, they still went for a walk, they still talked, they still acted like friends.
Of his old batch, Bly is the one Fox sees most; it used to be Ponds, but then… Fox doesn’t want to think about that. Apparently Bly has forgotten that his brothers can take care of themselves and has the need to be act like a mother even when that’s totally unnecessary - nevermind how relieved Fox feels when he comes visiting, that’s totally unrelated.
With Wolffe he mostly speaks via comms; they guy is still so busy trying to find a place for the Wolfpack, and although Fox doesn’t blame him - he would’ve done the same for the Guard - he’s glad that his men managed to find it on their own.
Hell, even Cody makes himself known from time to time, even though it’s mostly by sending holos from his most recent travels - yes, he always said that he wanted to explore the galaxy after the war, and now the son of a bantha is truly doing it.
Excluding his batch, the only people that remember his existence are Stone and Thire, who make a point to visit when they can, and Thorn, who is the one who bothers him most often.
No matter how you put it, in the end Fox is very much alone.
It’s just self-preservation, nothing more nothing less, really: the Coruscant Guard has always been in a weird spot, because they’ve been looked down by the majority of the vode for not fighting frontline.
Now, with the discovery of Palpatine’s true identity, things have only gotten worse because they’ve been suspected of working with him, as if they haven’t been simply other pawns for him to manipulate. Not that they have ever been accused directly - except from some drunk vod at 79’s - but it was easy drawing conclusions with the way they were looked at, or the general distrust that the vode reserved them, like they could still be working against them.
At least Fox has managed to shift the blame around so that instead of “the Guard worked with Palpatine” people go around saying that only Fox did. His reputation is already damaged beyond repair, so why not? At least the others will get that second chance at life that he knows he wouldn’t get either way.
Deep down, very deep down, he envies them, because they truly are free, unlike him, who will be chained to his past crimes until the day he dies and probably even after - he shivers just thinking about how he’ll be remembered by the future generation, if he’ll be remembered at all.
Still, it all becomes meaningless in front of the pure joy he feels when they narrate him the last shenanigans they get themselves involved in. They are truly free and happy now, and Fox is happy for them.
… If sometimes he wishes their places were switched, that he was the one who could live freely as his heart desires, well, that’s something only for him to know and keep secret.
Sometimes he thought about confiding in Thorn, the only one he’d ever consider burdening with this stuff, but every time he decides to do he quickly changes his mind; it’s not worth it.
Now more than ever he wants to scream, not even at Thorn in particular, just scream, as if all his anguish and problems would disappear just with that. It would be too good to be true
It’s not that he doesn’t want to get out, it’s just that he can’t. It’s not safe, it’s not…
He’s afraid of all the stares he’d get, of all the words that would be thrown at him. Normally it wouldn’t phase him - he’s used to it - but day by day he’s becoming more susceptible to his emotions again; it almost makes him miss that time when he was so detached to seem almost a droid. At least he could get things done back then, not like now that he has to mentally prepare himself to go out at least one day before.
At least now he’s free, however, isn’t he?
Technically he could go wherever he wants, could do whatever he wants, if only… No, he can’t. People wouldn’t be happy to have him around.
Thorn tries again. He’s gotten so close to Fox that if he was someone else Fox would’ve already tried to put some distance between them, but with Thorn he’s used to it.
“Fox, what’s wrong?”
“I can’t. I--” Kark, his voice is breaking.
“Nobody’s stopping you. In fact, the only one stopping you is yourself, trust me,” Thorn reassures him. “I know you still feel guilty, but most vode have gotten over it. In the end we were all in a shitty situation. Besides, you did hesitate in the end, didn’t you? That’s why Fives is still alive and why we discovered who the Sith Lord was.”
What Thorn is saying makes sense, but this doesn’t mean that it’s easy for Fox to accept it; after so much time spent with self-hatred as his only constant companion, he can’t act like he never thought any bad things about himself. Besides, he doubts the rest of the vode really have forgiven him.
Still, Thorn wouldn’t lie about this, because as much as the fool still insists on wanting to cheer him up, he knows that he won’t accomplish anything by telling lies - actually, he’d make things even worse - and there’s still the fact that deep down Fox wants to leave his place, wants to do something with his life, but… it’s scary.
“Even if I decide to leave, it’ll take time before I can organize anything,” he says, because it’s so much easier saying that rather than to admit that he’s the one who needs time.
These last months have been hard for everybody, but nobody talks about how especially hard they’ve been for Fox. He’s just so tired of everything.
Yes, that’s it, he’s tired. If he could he’d disappear without leaving any trace, but he knows that if he does someone would come searching for him; in the end there are some people that care about him, but at this point Fox wishes they didn’t because it would make his situation easier: he wouldn’t hold onto that love he still scarcely receives anymore, he wouldn’t suffer because it’s still so little.
Whose fault is that anyway? It’s his. It’s him the one who keeps pushing people away. It’s just that he craves and hates the attention at the same time, a contradiction that he still hasn’t sorted out.
He’s so focused on trying not to lose it in front of Thorn that he barely notices him moving them to the couch. He does feel it however when he closes his arms around him, when he kisses his forehead, when he says that it’s fine, that it’s ok, that he’s safe.
Fox has gone so long without allowing this kind of softness in his life, but damn he missed it. If he began to let people closer again it might happen more often, but how is he supposed to do it?
He doesn’t know how much time passes before he gathers enough strength to speak. He won’t lie: staying like this almost makes him want to curl into a ball and fall asleep in the security of Thorn’s arms, but it’s something that Fox would rather avoid, at least for now. Maybe in the future he might be able to let go and actually do it.
“I want to leave,” he eventually says.
“Leave to where?” Thorn asks.
“I don’t know, but I want to travel.”
“We can do that,” Thorn replies, smiling at Fox, “We can do whatever we want.”
Yes it’s true, they can…
“You think Thire and Stone would want to come? It would be nice having the squad back together.”
“I’m sure they’d love it.”
Fox doesn’t know if Thorn’s actually right, but it’s reassuring to hear him say that.
For now he’ll bask in his brother’s warmth for a bit longer. They can plan another time - there’s no rush after all.
The idea of the outside isn’t something he’s still entirely comfortable with, but Fox would also be lying if he said that he isn’t looking forward to exploring it. Coruscant is pretty and all… but he’s grown tired of it.
He might still not have found his place in the new word, but who knows, maybe there’s hope for him yet.

Unexpected Fate
Inheritance Cycle (Eragon) and LOTR Crossover. Vilansia and her dragon, Svellevarina, have spent many years training young dragon riders alongside Eragon and Saphira. But, their time of adventure has come. The people of Middle Earth have called for aid and Alagaesia will answer.
Chapter 7: Now far ahead the road has gone...
Tumblr media
The sun had long set when we reached the outside of a dense forest. I could feel the ancient energy that surrounded the woods, the trees were tall and thick with a heavy canopy of leaves. Somehow, even with the growing darkness around us, the forest appeared even darker. Certainly not as inviting as the entrances to Du Weldenvarden.
Aragorn led us inside the forest, his pace now a bit slower.
"Be careful young Hobbits," Gimli whispered. "they say a great sorceress lives in these woods: an elf witch of terrible power. All who look upon her fall under her spell,"
I couldn't help but smile. If only the dwarf had met my own queen, Arya. I imagined he would say something similar, though, there was a hint of bias towards my fondness of the queen. I had always considered her strong, wise, and calculating. I could only hope to be the fraction of the elf that she is.
Svellevarina had a difficult time walking through the trees as they grew tightly together. She was often forced to walk around many of them, sometimes losing sight of the group for a moment before coming into sight again.
"Well," Gimli continued. "here's one dwarf she won't ensnare so easily. I have the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox,"
Elves surrounded us, halting us in our tracks as their sharp arrowheads pointed directly at each of us.
"Oh," he said.
I tensed, ready to withdraw my weapon if they made a move to attack. Legolas had loaded his bow, aiming at the Elves in front of him.
"The dwarf breaths so loud we could have shot him in the dark," a male elf stated as he stepped forward, regarding the dwarf with raised eyebrows.
The male elf then spoke with Aragorn in an unfamiliar language. As he addressed Legolas briefly I assumed it was a shared Elvish language. The dialect was quite different from my own, meaning there was little chance of me understanding even bits and pieces of what was said. Instead, I relied on the body language of those speaking and the energy that they gave off.
"So much for the legendary courtesy of the Elves! Speak words we can all understand," Gimli spat.
"We have not had dealings with the Dwarves since the Dark Days," the elf replied gravely.
"And you know what this dwarf says to that?" Gimli continued in a harsher dialect, his voice thick with anger.
"That was not so courteous," Aragorn said to him.
With a glance at Frodo, the male elf said: "You bring great evil with you. You can go no further,"
Aragorn kept stride with the elf as he stepped away, speaking urgently to him. They continued their conversation away from the group, leaving the rest of us to wait there as the armed group of Elves watched us carefully.
Svellevarina found a break in the trees to lay down, resting her head on the soft ground. The rest of us tried to find comfortable seats as well for we were unsure just how long the wait would be.
"Gandalf's death was not in vain, nor would he want you to give up hope," Boromir said as he looked to Frodo. "You carry a heavy burden, Frodo. Do not carry the weight of the dead,"
The Hobbit did not reply, but his wide blue eyes met Boromir's in acknowledgment. I made my way over to my dragon, kneeling beside where she laid her head.
"Your mind is still troubled," She stated to me. Svellevarina was not wrong. The thoughts I held previously were having a difficult time letting my mind find the peace it needed to.
"I am going to attempt to scry Murtagh and Thorn if you wish to join me," I said to her.
"Of course," she shifted her position so that she curled around me, her body shielding me from the direct view of the group to provide at least a bit of privacy.
I withdrew a pool of water before us with the ancient language, making sure to seal it there so that it would not soak back into the soil.
"Draumr kopa," I whispered.
The water rippled as an image began to form on the surface. Murtagh's face came into view then, his eyes snapping up to meet mine. I could see that he was in his chambers based on the wooden decor behind him.
"Vilansia? Is that you?" He asked.
"Indeed, my breoal," I replied.
His shoulders dropped with a sigh. "So you are still alive,"
I glanced at Svell behind me. "Yes, Murtagh, of course, we are,"
"What's wrong?" He peered at me, his eyebrows furrowed with concern.
I leaned back against Svellevarina's side, my words failing me.
"We have suffered a great loss," my dragon said. "one we did not anticipate,"
There was a pause as Murtagh looked from Svell to me. "Are you all right?"
"We are fine, shur'tugal. We made it out unscathed,"
"Well, what took place? I have not seen you so solemn, Vilansia," Murtagh said gently. The sound of sliding scales behind Murtagh reached my ears as the vibrant red of Thorn came into view. Svell hummed slightly at the sight of his presence.
"Svellevarina and I are part of a group. Eleven companions we started with when we left for our journey," I began as I recounted the events that took place within Rivendell and our journey to the Mines of Moria. Svellevarina took over to describe the tentacled beast she saved the Hobbit from. I continued the tale, describing the great fight within the Dwarf city and the Balrog that ultimately brought down the grey wizard.
Murtagh ran his fingers through his dark hair as he leaned back. Thorn's ruby eye came into view.
"Keep faith in your company, shur'tugal," Thorn said. "The journey has just begun,"
"That is my very concern," I replied as I narrowed my eyes. "It has only been a month of travel thus far and we have already lost a vitally important member of the Fellowship," I sighed. "What hope is there, truly?"
Murtagh offered a lopsided smile. "They have you and Svell, do they not?"
"Yes, breoal, they do. But are we enough?"
His smile faltered. "Now, it does no good to doubt your own abilities let alone your dragons'. What would Arya say to you?"
I looked down towards my feet. "She certainly would not have any of it,"
"She certainly would not, you're right," he sighed. "Vilansia, do not blame yourself. You did all that you could, as did Svell. All you can do is focus on the road ahead of you,"
"There is not much good that can come from focusing on the past," Thorn added.
"Elrun ono. I, I did not realize how much I needed to hear those words," I replied quietly.
"I understand. This is a difficult task, I can't imagine that it will get any easier. Rely on each other, the two of you are capable of so much when you are together," Murtagh said before he shrugged, "Perhaps Eragon can provide better direction but just know that I understand your emotion,"
I chuckled dryly. "Both he and Arya Drotting would remind me how dangerous emotions can be,"
"Well, that is their teaching. Even if what they say is hard to hear, don't forget that they only ever want the best for you,"
"They have always looked out for you both," Thorn said.
"We know," I replied.
"Come, Vilansia, we best be ready for when we depart," Svellevarina said.
"Elrun ono, Murtagh, Thorn. I appreciate you speaking with us,"
"It was I who asked it of you, remember, breoal?" he replied. "Keep in contact when you are able. I will pass on the knowledge of your well-being to Arya and Eragon but I suggest scrying them as well,"
"Of course. Elrun ono,"
"Esterní to you both," Murtagh replied.
I released the water back into the ground, effectively ending the spell.
"Lady Vilansia?" I heard someone call. I stood, stepping around Svellevarina to find Legolas standing before me. "We have been granted entrance to Lothlorien, we must go,"
"Thank you, Legolas," I replied gently.
The Fellowship was led further into the forest. Faint blue lights were strung along the branches of the tall trees illuminating the growing darkness of the night.  It gave our surroundings an ethereal glow, and I could feel the ancient magic surrounding this place.
"Caras Galadhon, the heart of Elvendom on earth. Realm of the Lord Celeborn and of Galadriel, Lady of Light," our guide informed us before we continued on.
Our pathway of stone turned into a wooden, winding staircase around a thick trunk of the tree before us. It was the largest of the trees that surrounded us, the same blue lights in the canopy of the forest built within it's' bark above the stairway that led up into the higher branches of the trees. It was as if they had taken the stars and brought them to the earth. My breath was taken from me as I looked on. It was glorious. We were taken to a city within the trees, levels of wooden platforms, and walkways all around us. We were brought to a platform that held wide steps directly in front of us. The silver light was too bright to see anything beyond the steps. Two figures appeared in the shining light, walking towards us, hand in hand. The two of them emitted an ancient power, their eyes were piercing and calculating. They came to a stop on just before the steps as they regarded each of us. The two of them did not have the reaction towards Svellevarina that I might think they would. In fact, there was no observable reaction from either of them. I felt Svell's slight confusion at this.
Lord Celeborn was the first to speak. "The Enemy knows you have entered here. What hope you had in secrecy is now gone," he paused. "Ten there are here, yet eleven there were, set out from Rivendell. Tell me, where is Gandalf? For I much desire to speak with him. I can no longer see him from afar,"
Lady Galadriel's piercing eyes rested on Aragorn. "Gandalf the Grey did not pass the borders of this land. He has fallen into shadow,"
"He was taken by both shadow and flame: a Balrog of Morgoth, for we went needlessly into the net of Moria," Legolas informed them.
"Needless were none of the deeds of Gandalf in life," the Lady said. "we do not yet know his full purpose," she looked to Gimli with a sympathetic smile. "Do not let the great emptiness of Khazad-dum fill your heart, Gimli, son of Gloin, for the world has grown full of peril and in all lands, love is now mingled with grief,"
Boromir began to weep beside us, his shoulders shaking as he dropped his head to avoid her gaze. I could feel the movement of energy around them, as if magic was part of their very being, like the dragons of Alagaesia.
"What now becomes of the Fellowship? Without Gandalf hope is lost," Celeborn said.
My chest tightened. To hear this Elf Lord say aloud my very fear did nothing to ease my mind.
"The quest stands upon the edge of a knife," Lady Galadriel said. "Stray but a little and it will fall to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the company is true," the Lady smiled, her face warm with kindness. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Go now and rest for you are weary with sorrow and much toil. Tonight you will sleep in peace,"
The same Elf that led us into the city of Lorien to lead us to where the group would rest for the night.
A sharp pressure pushed against my mental barriers, causing me to wince and halt in my tracks. Svellevarina growled low in her throat at the perceived attack. With furrowed brows, I looked up towards Lady Galadriel to find she was already looking at me.
"You are considerably powerful, Lady Vilansia of Alagaesia," she said to me. "Both you and your dragon will indeed change the fate of the Fellowship," she regarded Svellevarina. "There has not been a creature so beautiful within Middle Earth for some time. It is an honor,"
Svellevarina shifted, her head tilted to the side. "There is an ancient power about you, Lady of Light. The honor is mine,"
With my dragon's cue of the dip of her shimmering head, I bowed to the both of them before we turned to join the rest of the fellowship.
Gentle music echoed around us as we settled down for the night. The blue and silver lights dimmed slightly to give the illusion of late night within the city. The company was taken to a wide opening in a large tree, the soft ground providing comforting support. The hobbits had laid out their blankets upon the ground next to each other against the inside of the tree. Gimli's snores loudly informed us that the dwarf was asleep next to the Hobbits. Aragorn had taken to sharpening his blade next to Boromir. Legolas stood outside of the roots of the tree, his faraway gaze looking out towards the Elvish city that surrounded us. I removed the saddle upon Svell's back, allowing her to stretch and clean the scales upon her shoulders and upper back with her barbed tongue. She laid just outside where the Hobbits sat, resting her head upon the mossy ground.
"A lament for Gandalf," Legolas said as the music continued.
"What do they say about him?" Merry asked.
"I have not the heart to tell you, for the grief is still too near," he replied.
Samwise stood, and with a deep breath said: "The finest rockets ever seen, they burst in stars of blue and green. Or after thunder, silver showers, came falling like a...rain of flowers," his shoulders fell as he sat back onto his bedding. "Oh, that doesn't do him justice in the long road,"
Svellevarina hummed. "It came from the heart, little one. That is all that matters,"
The hobbits smiled tightly and I could tell that he was not completely convinced. The four of them eventually settled, using their packs as pillows as they drifted off to sleep. Boromir spoke with Aragorn for a short while before he, too, got some rest. As Svell relaxed, wisps of smoke rose from her nostrils, rising up to meet the tall branches of the trees that surrounded us. I walked out a little farther from the group, my back to them, to better take in Lothlorien. The way in which the city was built among the trunks of the trees, a considerable distance from solid ground, reminded me of my home city, Ellesmera. Though, there was an entirely different atmosphere and look between the two of them. The cool tones of Lothlorien felt elegant and ethereal. Not to say the Ellesmera did not possess those qualities, however. Instead of the glowing hue of blue and silver, my home city was made of earthy green and yellow tones. I sighed, closing my eyes. I relaxed my mind, letting it wander throughout the ancient trees, connecting with each of them as I meditated.  Even the trees held a level of consciousness not normally found in others, the magic of the Elves no doubt having an effect on them over time.
Something moved behind me, and I snapped my eyes open to face it. Frodo had edged his way from the group of sleeping Hobbits, his bright blue eyes focused on in front of him. He continued to walk away from the group, making his way down the staircase that led to another wooden platform. I rebuilt my mental barriers, bringing myself back to full focus. With silent steps I began to follow him, peering down the steps.
A hand on my shoulder stopped me. "Let him be, Lady Vilansia. He is in no danger here," Legolas said behind me.
I turned to him, then glanced back down the stairs. Frodo was no longer in my sight. I reached out in search of him with my mind. He was indeed safe, for now. I kept aware of him for fear that something may happen. "Very well," I replied, following him back to the rest of the group.
The soft snores of the Hobbits intermitted with Gimli's loud ones filled the air.
"May I ask a question of you, Lady Vilansia?" Legolas asked quietly.
"Of course," I said to him, "And please, call me Vilansia,"
He nodded once. "I wonder, what is your home city like?"
"I admit, Du Weldenvarden is nothing like the Elvish cities I have visited here so far," I replied. "Our capital city, Ellesmera, was where I was born. To me, it is the grandest in comparison to all others within the Elven province. Our buildings are part of the trees, our lives are woven together with the existing forest through ancient magic,"
"Are there many dragon riders there?"
"In Ellesmera? No. My queen resides there with her dragon as do Svellevarina and I. But we are the only dragon riders that live in the capitol,"
He thought for a moment. "Then you two are the only Elvish riders?"
"There are many other Elvish riders, some graduated and others still in training,"
He bowed his head. "Thank you for indulging my curiosity,"
A small smile lifted the corners of my lips. "You are welcome, Legolas,"
He leaned against the root of the tree, looking out into the city once again. I checked on Frodo's well-being through the mental connection I had established moments ago. He was all right. Perhaps  I did not have anything to worry about here in Lothlorien. Svellevarina looked my way with her bright eyes.
"Come, shur'tugal. Get some rest while you are able,"
I undid the belt that held my weapon within its sheath, setting it on the ground next to me as I sat, leaning my back against Svell's right foreleg.
"Arya Drotting would love it here," I said to her.
"Aye, she would. Firnen too,"
I sighed lightly, my eyes lifting up to the tops of the trees. Svellevarina pushed a comforting calm to wash over me before she drifted off to a deep slumber, the tension of our previous battle leaving her as she dreamed of home. I let her dreams fill my mind, closing my eyes to better view the images before me. Saphira's blue scaled flashed before my eyelids and Firnen's deep hum echoed in my mind. Their respective riders came into view. They stood next to each other, hand in hand, as their dragons took to the air behind them. Arya brought her free hand to touch her chest just above her heart with her fingertips before lifting it up in front of her. I smiled. It was a fond gesture the two of us shared for as long as I could remember, even before I was made a dragon rider. Though I knew that Svellevarina had no control of her dreams, I was grateful that I could share in this image with her.

OK, possible fic prompt? Hound's S/O gets kidnapped (idk slave traders down in the lower levels? Hanging around with clones a lot in public or something? Up to you) and Grizzer has to put those tracking skills to good use
OOOOHHHHH I loved this!!!!! I was so excited to write this!!
Retribution
+Part one+
My buddy and fellow Hound slut @hounding-around came up with the title!! Go check them out!!
Notes: I just went with some simple slave traders down on the lower levels. Also I was listening to Slipknot while writing this, so I had to hold back making it really gorey and such. Buuuuttttt it’s still on the more gorey side.
Warnings: kidnapping, slave traders, beating, fighting, humans being chained up and caged, blood, slight gore, mentions of death,
*Coruscant*
You were on a date with Hound when the slavers kidnapped you, beating up your lover terribly. They dragged you off, leaving an unconscious Hound on the street. You were kicking and screaming, but they quickly knocked you out so you wouldn’t draw any attention.  You lived a little below the surface, which should’ve been safe. But in all honesty, nowhere on Coruscant is safe after dark.
Once he woke up to a Loth Cat trying to eat his hand, he realized you were gone. Hound ran straight to the Coruscant Guard commanders to tell them about the kidnapping. Fox, Thorn, Thire, and Stone all knew about the relationship.  If they didn’t they’d still look for you, it was their job after all. But now? It was personal for all of them, you don’t mess with a brother or his S/O.
Hound ran into the common room with a blackened eye and bloody mouth and nose. “Holy fuck! Hound what happened!” Thorn ran over, Grizzer hot on his heels. Thorn watched Grizzer whenever Hound went on dates with you, so luckily Grizzer wasn’t there. He may have been killed when they took you. Thorn stared at Hound’s broken nose, “Hound?!” What happened?? Where’s your date?”
Stone and Thire were out on the job tonight, so it was only Thorn and Fox with him. Fox sat Hound down, “Brother speak to us.” Hound sighed and coughed slightly, his ribs obviously bruised, “They took them. Slavers, they took them.” Hound said slavers with extreme hate behind the word. Fox frowned, “Oh no.”
“We’ll look for them-” Hound grabbed Thorn’s arm, “No. I’m coming.” He got up, pushing past his brothers to quickly armor up. All Hound did was wipe the blood from his now broken nose before throwing on his armor. He would take care of himself after you were safe. Fox sighed and quickly downed the rest of his coffee, “I’ll tell the others to be on the lookout.”
*Later*
Hound jogged down the street where you were taken, Grizzer sniffing the ground for you. His ribs were burning, he felt like some were possibly cracked. He could hardly breathe from his broken nose, but he was too focused on you to care about his bruised and broken body. Grizzer knew your scent very well, so Hound hoped he would be quick to find you.
Fox walked beside Hound, “Thire and stone are scanning other areas with the other Tracking Massiff’s, while Thorn is monitoring who leaves the world. We’re going to catch these slavers.” Hound nodded, too pissed off to say anything. Fox patted his shoulder, “Hound. I promise, we’ll find them” Hound nodded at his brother.
Hound felt his heart stop when Grizzer paused, sniffing the ground hard. Grizzer looked back at Hound and made an excited noise. “Go Grizzer! Find them!” Hound shouted. It wasn’t his usual order, but he knew Grizzer understood. Grizzer took off into an alleyway, following your scent.
Fox and the small squad of other Coruscant Guards followed Hound, their boots loud against the scum covered alley ground. Luckily the scent was still relatively fresh, so it was easier for Grizzer to smell you through the garbage and waste.
Every so often Grizzer would pause and sniff around, losing your scent temporarily. Grizzer always found your scent again though. Hound felt like the chase was going on for hours, he knew you didn’t have much time left. Slavers always moved quickly. His bruised body protested with every ticking second, his ribs screaming against his lungs. Hound bared his teeth behind his helmet, he would go through hell and back to find you. His broken body was not going to stop him.
After what felt like forever, they finally came across a landing platform that was bustling with Coruscant underground scum. They were all moving crates onto a large ship, and all the crates had holes in the sides for breathing. They were built specifically for animals that were light sensitive, so they couldn't see into the holes.
Fox walked over first, “Hey!-” Was all he got out before the slavers dropped their crates and panicked. When the crates hit the ground they screamed, they knew they’d found them. Animals and crates don’t scream like that. One slaver pulled out a gun, and the others did as well.
Hound quickly shot two down before unhooking Grizzer, letting him attack. Grizzer was rarely used for attack, but Hound saw red. He didn’t care about anything but slaughtering all of the dirty slavers who took you away from him. Grizzer obviously felt the same as he tackled the closet slaver, quickly ripping him to a bloody mess.
Fox had never seen Hound shoot down so many people in such a short time, he was obviously beyond pissed. Adrenaline fueled Hound to only act, not think. All Hound felt now was a thirst for revenge on those who took you. Grizzer seemed like a completely different animal as he tackled one man after another, ripping at their throats and faces with his razor sharp claws and teeth.
None of the Coruscant guards got hurt while the slavers shot at them, mainly because Hound and Grizzer killed them too quickly to really fight back. Grizzer made a bloody mess, causing some fleeing men to slip and fall. It was too messy and chaotic for them to escape.
Once every slaver was dead, Hound and the others quickly began to open up the crates while Grizzer tore apart the last slaver. Most of the people in the crates were human, and they were all equally battered and bruised. All were naked as well, heavy cuffs keeping their hands together.
“Hound!! I found them!” Fox yelled out, which made Hound run over to the crate immediately. “Oh honey.” He mumbled as he kneeled beside you, helping you from the crate. You were naked and bruised, they obviously had beaten you into submission. Fox didn’t even look at you as he ran to help the others.
Grizzer ran over, licking your face even though he was covered in blood. “I feared the worst.” Hound muttered, “M’fine.” You mumbled leaning against his armored chest, your teeth chattering in the cold Coruscant night. Hound held you in his lap, tears flooding his eyes behind his helmet.
Hound rested his forehead against yours in a Keldabe kiss, “The paramedics are on their way. You’ll be in a hospital in no time.” You nodded, trying to squirm even closer to his warmth. Hound let out a shuddering breath, “You’re safe. You’re safe.” He muttered.
He removed his helmet and removed your cuffs, pressing a warm kiss to your forehead. You looked at Hound’s bloody and bruised face, “Oh Hound-” He shushed you with a soft kiss, “I’m fine. You need to be fixed up first.” You frowned and nodded, your cold body aching.
When the adrenaline finally wore off Hound felt just how beat up his body was. He coughed and blinked slowly, growing very dizzy. When he passed out you screamed, alerting the others. All Hound heard was, “Soldier down! Soldier down!” and all he saw was your terrified face. Before the whole world went dark.

Quotes by Mehmet Murat ildan
A beautiful mind is like a beautiful path! The more you travel with it, the more you find peace and happiness!
A beautiful smile without any reason is the smile of the existence!
A bird without wings and a man without art are both condemned to wander in low places; they can never soar up to those unrivalled heights.
A cat’s New Year dream is mostly a bird! Don’t be like a cat; in New Year, dream something that you have never dreamed! Target for new things!
A good book is a lighthouse; a wise man is a lighthouse; conscience is a lighthouse; compassion is a lighthouse; science is a lighthouse! They all show us the true path! Keep them in your life to remain safe in the rocky and dark waters of life!
A little happy house is the strongest castle in this whole universe!
A long walk in a long beach shortens every kind of sorrow!
A romantic person will know from the bottom of his heart that no source of light can ever replace the mysterious beauty of a candle!
A street full of shadows will teach you what life is much better than the street full of lights!
A waterfall cannot be silent, just as the wisdom! When they speak, the voice of power speaks!
An uneducated society will eventually turn into something lower than a herd of animals!
Are you a stupid sheep in the flock or a free eagle in the sky? Look at the mirror, what are you? Are you some dullish cattle in the herd or a wise owl in the forest? Look at the mirror, what are you?
Autumn is the greatest reminder: It reminds us how dreamlike beauties our earth has and it reminds us how all these beautiful dreams can easily vanish!
Carry your bag by yourself; carry your umbrella by yourself; open your door by yourself; light your own candle! Do your job by yourself! Don’t use others! Don’t behave like a king, don’t behave like a queen! Be humble!
Clouds in the sky very much resembles the thoughts in our minds! Both changes perpetually from one second to another!
Cowards cannot pass beyond the walls or beyond the wire fences! For them, frontiers are always the end of the road!
Disappointment means that things haven’t worked out the way you wanted! And now what to do? Very simple: Stand up and walk! Cut the tragedy because our limited time must always be used for the forward movements!
Don’t follow any leader; don’t obey to anyone; crowds are slaves; take an independent stance; take orders only from your own mind!
Don’t say deep things to shallow people and don’t talk about shallow things with the deep people!
Elephants don’t know anything about the world of ants; the peaks of mountains are oblivious of what is happening on the plains!
Enlarge your windows till you get a window where you can see the whole universe with one look!
Every long separation is a test: A test to see how powerful or how weak the will of reuniting is!
Every morning is a revolution against the darkness!
Every New Year must be celebrated at the heart of nature - in the middle of a forest or by the side of a lake under billions of stars - because it is nature who has made our existence possible!
Every season has its own art and the art of autumn is to bewitch the people!
Every time it rains, the soil counts every drop to know exactly how many times to thank to God!
Farewell is a beautiful and a soft word and yet it is a horrible and a heavy thing too!
Flowers are the Romeos and the Juliets of the nature!
Flowers have the greatest talent in converting an ordinary place into a magical palace!
For a dark street, sunshine is most welcome; for a wounded soul, love is most welcome!
For a new year to bring you something new, make a move, like a butterfly tearing its cocoon! Make a move!
For the cowards, all doors are locked; for the daring, all doors are open!
For the land, the sea is beautiful; for the sea, the land is beautiful!
Forest is a dream where you may find yourself and dream is a forest where you may lose yourself!
Full moon is a good fisherman; every eyes are easily caught in his net!
Genius tries to conquer the world with art, with songs, with words; stupid tries to conquer it with sword, with guns, with arrows!
Give freedom to colours and then you shall meet the rainbow everywhere!
Great artists come and go; they are born and they die; but there is one exception who has been living for thousands of years and still continues creating new works, new beauties every year: The Autumn!
Happiness has only one colour: The Bright! The bright of red, the bright of green, the bright of any colour! Happiness is bright! It shines, it sparkles, it glints!
He who does not walk against the arrows cannot talk about the strength of his shield!
If the storm underestimates your power, nothing happens to him; but if you underestimate the power of the storm, you sink!
If we had known everything in this universe, we would have had to find another universe to feed our curiosity, because what keeps alive man is the curiosity!
If you are good at building bridges, you will never fall into the abyss!
If you are sure of tomorrow, there is no fool greater than you!
If you close your eyes, no lighthouse can help you!
If you do not have the concept of distance, you may reach an unreachable place!
If you feel you have to open a particular door, open it, otherwise all your life that door will haunt your mind!
If you have carefully examined hundred people you met in your life journey, it means that you have read hundred different books! Every person you know is a book; world is full of walking books; some are boring, some are marvellous, some are weak, some are powerful, but they are all useful because they all carry different experiences of different paths!
If you have ever walked in Paris, you will see that Paris will ever walk in your memoires!
If you love yourself first, you will find your Valentine much quicker!
If you move faster than the music, it will look strange; if you move slower than the music, it will look strange! Be like autumn leaves which follow exactly the rhythm of the wind!
If you open your eyes very wide and look around you carefully, you will always see a lighthouse which will lead you to the right path! Just watch around you carefully!
If you see a castle under fog, you must walk there to meet the extraordinary dreams!
In a society where everyman is fox-minded, you need to be foxier than the fox!
In autumn, don’t go to jewelers to see gold; go to the parks!
In deep waters, you encounter only the wise and the brave; in shallow waters, the ignorant and the coward!
In defeat, look at the stars; in victory, look at the ground! From the stars, you get hope; from the ground, you get caution.
In the middle of nowhere, an old wooden bridge is a golden bridge!
Instead of politicians, let the monkeys govern the countries; at least they will steal only the bananas!
Leave city, leave reality; enter forest, enter fantasy!
Let me tell you something big: Give importance to little things!
Let the people discover you! You might have the key of the locked doors in their lives! Open yourself to the world; you might be the magic the world needs!
Let yourself disappear in the darkness; if you are loved, people will come and find you with torches in their hands! Love is a great searcher; it always searches the loved one! To see who really love you, just disappear!
Lighten your life with a simple life!
Magic of the nights is always much impressive than the magic of the days!
Man must be able to think freely and he must be able to express his thoughts freely! He who is against this is not only fascist and primitive but at the same time is a very great coward also! Only the brave and the honourable men are never afraid of freedom of thought and freedom of expression of ideas! Just like the cockroaches do not like the light, evil minds also do not like the freedom of thoughts!
Man must behave like a lighthouse; he must shine day and night for the goodness of everyman.
Max Lucado says that ‘A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd.’ That is true and a man who wants to find out the truth must also do the same thing!
New Year’s most glorious light is sweet hope!
No flower is happy in a vase, because vase is nothing but an ornate coffin for the flower.
No king has a throne more beautiful than a bench covered with the autumn leaves!
No matter how right or how beautiful your path is, never try to impose your path on others! Remember that flowers by no means pull bees by force to their world! Your path is your poem; if people like your poem, they will fondly join you in your path!
No season appeals to the eyes as much as autumn; no season touches the souls as powerfully as autumn and no season invites us to the world of mournful thoughts as intensely as autumn!
Not every lake dreams to be an ocean. Blessed are the ones who are happy with whom they are.
Nothing is more mysterious than watching a lonely man who is taking for a night walk in a foggy street!
Photography is an art of teleporting the past into the future.
Pigs are dirty, but I will tell you something dirtier: Liars! Untruth always smells like rotten garbage!
Rain is nature’s art; umbrella is man’s art.
Real love and Sun have something in common; they are so bright that they don't have shadows, they are free of darkness!
Rumi says love turns thorns into flowers. This means that hate turns flowers into thorns!
Searching for the real faces of every face we met! This is what our life is!
Silent streets have many things to say.
Similar souls wander in the similar places! They may not know each other, but often they touch the same winds, they step on the same leaves, their looks are lost in the same horizons!
Simple life and peaceful mind are very close friends!
Smile is a good reply to the dark world.
Some looks are heavier than the thickest books because they carry the saddest stories of life!
Something reduces the speed of the world and that something is stupidity! Stupidity is a boring friction!
Sometimes you must do crazy things to discover the life beyond your life, to enter the unknown zone beyond your known zone!
Strong winds create giant waves; strong wills create giant men!
Sun gives light; torch gives light, candle gives light; smiling gives light.
Sunset is so marvellous that even the sun itself watches it every day in the reflections of the infinite oceans!
Sunset is the opening music of the night.
The best thing you can give to a child is to create an environment where the child can develop an independent mind so that he will be the man of no one and the instrument of no system!
The fate of the bridges is to be lonely; because bridges are to cross not to stay!
The first step to be a good man is this: You must deeply feel the burden of the stones someone else carrying.

The wisdom of bridges comes from the fact that they know the both sides, they know the both shores!
There is a hidden message in every waterfall. It says, if you are flexible, falling will not hurt you!
There is no real silence for the sensitive ears and there is no real tranquility for the sensitive hearts!
There is nothing more beautiful than living a simple life in this complex universe!
There is so much beauty in autumn and so much wisdom; so much separation and so much sorrow!

We are all on the stairs, my friend; some of us are going down, some us are going up!
We see what we are only through reflection and thus the more our reflections occur, the less our mistakes will be!
What do you need in the New Year? You need a dream; your dream needs an action; and your action needs right thinking! Without right thinking, you can have only unrealised dreams!
What is the name of your dream? A lovely wooden cottage in the middle of a forest? Or walking in an endless autumn path? What is the name of your dream? Don’t give a name, always give a list! Fill yourself with dreams because dream is the path to reality!
What you do when nobody is there is your true you!
When everything looks like a magical oil painting, you know you are in Autumn!
When the moonlight and the waterfall come together, all other things fade from the scene!
When the spirit of nature touches us, our hearts turn into a butterfly!
When the sun is setting, leave whatever you are doing and watch it.
When you are happy, you feel the sunshine even inside the fog; when you are unhappy, you feel the fog even in the sunshine.
When you are on the bright side of life, do not forget the people who are on the dark side and remember that man can easily slip from one side to the other!
When you increase the number of gardens, you increase the number of heavens too!
When you lose your path, you get an opportunity to discover a world you have never known! And better worlds are often found this way! Darkness and uncertainty hide presents in itself!
When you read a book, book also reads you! The book will know who you are from the sentences you underline!
Winter invites white; white invites silence; silence invites peace. You see, there is so much peace in walking on the snow!

You need new roads to discover new places!
