Eldritch/not-entirely-human Grunkle Stan stories have been eating away at my brain, so I have a silly little concept of Mimic!Stan.
He and his Mystery Shack are both mimics that lure tourists in as a literal "tourist trap" to gather and devour them! Since the house is alive, it raises a few (read: several) child safety concerns that lead to a LOT of rules to be created for Dipper and Mabel to follow when they eventually arrive, such as:
Be careful not to get lost in the winding hallways! The Mystery Shack is bigger on the inside, and you don't want to end up in the wrong areas.
Don't go through randomly appearing doors, they may eat you.
If you think you feel the walls around you breathing and the floor beneath you shifting, no, you don't.
If you think the walls feel a bit damp, you're imagining it.
Watch your fingers around windowsills! You wouldn't want to lose any of them.
Don't linger too long under the doorframes; it may start feeling like they are slowly constricting around you.

I would love to design a bunch of Gallifreyan fashion for each Chapter and House it seems so fun#I also wanted to draw a Gallifreyan night!! since I never see any depictions of it even tho the planet should have nights#even if it's a binary system since the orbits would have to be very large for gravitational stability both suns would set at similar times#anyway I'll stop talking lmao 🫡

Bruce knows Jason is dead. But when he sees a shockingly familiar looking figure in Crime Alley, one who made a comment implying he’s died before, he can’t help but hope. The boy doesn’t seem to entirely recognize him, but who’s to say having returned from the dead couldn’t have rattled his memories?
Danny is deeply torn. He’s been living on the streets of Gotham City ever since he ran away from Amity, and it sucks. He doesn’t want to exploit his powers for personal gain, but that was looking like it might be his only real option. Just using them to avoid conflict doesn’t put any food on his plate or get him any closer to a job.
Then this situation popped up, offering a vaguely-more-legal way forward. There’d be no way it could last, but it’s his first real chance at getting a proper meal and real bed to sleep in at night.
Except that in doing so, he’d be taking advantage of what is clearly a deeply grieving father. Even though the man is beyond rich (he may not be from Gotham but even he knows who Bruce Wayne is) and likely wouldn’t notice any monetary cost he spent on Danny, it’d be morally wrong to exploit his loss like that.
But Ancients if it isn’t tempting…

It's a little amusing just how similar Spock's and Garak's patterns of speech are. They're not identical, of course, and they emphasize things very differently, but they do for sure say the same type of shit sometimes. Are you an EDUCATED HOMOSEXUAL with a FACADE? Try using LARGE WORDS and DOUBLE NEGATIVES today!

The amount of posts/fanart/memes I've already seen surrounding Cooper and Hancock only proves to me that Hancock NEEDS to make a cameo in a later season. Somehow. I need them to get in a knife fight. I need them to get up in each other's faces and kiss intimidate each other.
Cooper's look was originally supposed to have black eyes and have scars identical to the Fallout 4 design, but the idea was ultimately scrapped. Boy oh boy, who else has black eyes and- HANCOCK. Hancock does. HE looks like that. This was clearly a sign from the universe.

#original character#angel oc#monster boy oc#wings#winged oc#for those curious he is the main character of this serial comic i have planned after my short film and one shots are#finished called “Mayflies”#Basically its a slice of life/fantasy comic about a world where “angels” are these huge insectoid-like entities that exist in a symbiotic#relationship with humans#They spend the majority of their life cycles in a juvenile state similar to mayflies#where they inhabit the bodies of dead humans#so every once and awhile when someone dies they will come back as an angel spontaneously. Denny was walking to work one day in the#dark and rain and got hit by a car. lucky for him#an adult angel appeared at that moment and triggered the angeldeath and he Came Back#hes like the same guy though angels dont have a separate conciousness from their host. its like#he is the angel. like a lichen. from his POV he can't tell that anything's changed inside his brain only now. he feathers#so yeah. i love him#side note#he has a GNC boyfriend named Ruth

Oh to be a digital Siffrin keychain spinning endlessly in space for my amusement
#notes on this one: changed the lighting and reflectiveness of the actual cut out images#Also the plastic/epoxy material for the edges was not true glass/I have no fucking idea how to change it to be see through#yes I set the roughness to 0#so I just shrugged my shoulders turned down the alpha#now there's a new appearance of a mysterious black ball in the reflection#which is weird because there should be no objects in the way of the light(?)#it's a mystery#what would've been cool if I put a loop silhouette#but alas I have work and do not have time(tm)#also had a similar idea for like the stars blinking out#but that means I'd have to change it to an object not world and fiddle with like 5 sets of stars so they go out at different times#it was 2 am and I said fuck it put void sphere and turn the black alpha up and back down#after a certain point you just have to make peace with what you have and hit render so you can sleep#thanks for reading my ramblingsss#isat#in stars and time#isat spoilers
