#kingdom hearts 3#kh3#nobodies#dusk#sniper#reaper#ninja#gambler#berserker#sorcerer#my gif#i'm a nobody enjoyer so of course i'm gonna make another set with them#nobodies are so reflective in this game i wonder if it they were originally intended to look this way#it would have been difficult to visually convey that in the old engine since lighting and shadows were all drawn onto the texture map#but that's not an issue anymore since there are far less lighting and graphical restrictions#anyways i'm glad we got a couple new nobodies#because their designs rule#i love how the one that represents marluxia can morph its body to look like the pod that sora slept in at castle oblivion#while the one that represents larxene has flowy scarf tails that are reminiscent of her unique hairstyle. the knife hands are cool

once i was in a creative writing class in college, and in a bit of humor i wrote the line:
"Um," I said, eloquently.
And my teacher was so adamant that I had to remove it because "um is not an eloquent word, so it makes no sense" and i was like my brother in christ it's called Irony
#she was so so adamant about it like.#ma'am.#specifically i did it that way because i wanted to express the fact that the character felt particularly foolish#like their brain being all like 'oh nice job what an eloquent way of putting it dumbass'#but without writing all that out ya know.#but no it was 'wrong' and it had to be removed :/#creative writing courses have never done a damn thing for me tbh#i know there has got to be a better way to teach it so that it doesn't quash someone's creativity#but i have yet to find one that does so#people are so weird about writing as an art compared to other visual arts :/#lulu talks

I made a few new wax seal stamps out of clay (like the ones I did for my worldbuilding stuff forever ago), this time just of random symbols that I thought might look good done in the style of painting over the raised part of the wax or etc. :0c Some of them aren't carved deep enough to really show up that well, but overall they worked okay for being clay lol

I was imagining like a swirly night sky sort of looking thing so it would be a surreal contrast of a night#sky with a window in the middle that shows a daytime sky - but the silver and purple wax kind of mixed too much together#with the black and it just looks very plain black and not all that starry or anything hjbhj.. Of course the eye is probably my favorite#since all I ever do is draw eyes and still like eye imagery for some reason. The four leaf clover is very lumpy and skrunkty but also it wa#the smallest in size out of all of them so was easier to do multiple stamps of just to try it out.#The heart with eyes wax is actually more swirly in person. I wanted it to be a mix of light pink and red and white. and the wax#did kind of all blend together but in person you can definitely see MORE of the intentional swirlyness. in this it just looks plain pink.#I was going to do one eye in the heart but it looked weird. but now two seems too plain. i could have done 3?? in a pattern.. hmm#alas. I wish I could make actual metal ones. With the clay i have to paint them in a thin layer of olive oil before stamping because#otherwise the wax just kind of gets stuck in the grooves of the clay and then you can't pull it up. Very wacky ''unprofessional'' looking#set up where I'm hot gluing circles of sculpey clay to short stumps of a wooden dowel that I sawed apart with a serrated bread knife#and then using an old paintbrush to put olive oil on them whilst holding a spoon over a yankee candle flame hjbjh#ANYWAY.. I think if I were middle class/rich/etc. this would be one of the main things in my crafting room is like.. SO many colors#of wax. and all different custom made stamps designed by me. which could be much more elaborate in actual metal.. muahaha.... >:)c#RHGghhh... I actually don't want to talk much about it since (this is probably just my Obsessed With My Own World Artist Delusions) I#think I have a really cool idea for a game that could genuinely be successful if i ever get to make it and I don't want to give#everything away and spoil the whole plot/concept in hopes that one day I can actually do it - BUT - a game that I'd like to make after the#visual novel I'm making now has partially to do with the main character working as a sort of writer/scribe/artist assistant in an elven#city (set in my world/with my worldbuilding species and versions of elves and etc) and I was thinking of maybe incorporating#somehow being able to collect little writing type items like these like.. you can get different wax seal patterns or pens or etc. when I do#stuff like this in Real Life it always makes me think of that like.. ouh... this is good research.. what it shall be like to be a littol#elf collecting wax seals and such.. indeed... GRR i need to be finished with my current game NOWWW... i MUST work on other#thingss... aughh... #ffxiv#digital art#zenos yae galvus#venat#endwalker spoilers#will forever be fascinated with this man#look guys look- the literal embodiment of wol's wings of hope LOL (and me going hehe about that and footfalls)#the part of me that adores digging into the nuance of character writing (intentional or otherwise) is just latched onto zenos#and venat-- they cant just give us two characters who get really important 1v1 duels#and ask really important questions#and love the MC and are willing to risk themselves so unconditionally#and have them not live rent free in my brain#--and maybe this tiptoes into the realm of crack theory so beware there will be a lot past here--#but I cant help but think zenos is akin to an oracle or warrior of light but was tempered/corrupted by zodiark#or some strange happenstance of varis (who shares visual traits to golbez before 6.0 ever came out and the dark mana burst)#and carosa (who it seems zenos got his looks from- and he already looks like he has ties to venat and argos like minfillia does)#was he a result of the eternal chess match between the two parties' machinations? or just some strange twist of fate?#another day of him being “emet's successful experiment” (again- intentional or no) making me thonk#theres something so strange about the final days dreams and how dark aspected he is- that his void abilities are more tied to him tbh#yet his mannerisms beyond just what he's been through almost reminds me of light corruption and the uncanny calmness#we see in most beings associated with the light in any significant way and like second phase eden shiva#he almost has all the marks of someone who shouldve already had the echo or blessing of light but for one reason or another#was unable to hear hydaelyns call#of course it doesnt help i mentally associate him with connections to zero and how she was corrupted before she was even born#and durante- who states uncanny ability and connection with light and darkness and yet favors dark magic more#i simply live with the idea that zenos' soul was an eternally faithful companion to wol's and#this time the cardinal sin of separating the pair finally happened to rather dire consequences lmao

(this isn't a question about the best p&p adaptation ever, it is simply which you prefer OUT OF THESE TWO OPTIONS since they are the two most commonly talked about and compared!!)
#i didn't really talk about it when i watched it because i know the 1995 version is precious and beloved to many people (which i respect)#but i personally think it just doesn't hold a candle to the 2005 version#i know it's more directly book accurate but for me that's not a priority in an adaptation#if i want to spend several hours on a book accurate experience i'll just listen to the audiobook#so for me if it's a screen adaptation then visuals are key and 2005 is so beautiful whereas 1995 isn't particularly special in that regard#i also prefer the casting personally in terms of chemistry and on screen presence but i acknowledge that's partly just because we're usuall#attached to whichever cast we're first familiar with#anyway none of this is to actually dunk on the miniseries of course and it goes without saying that all p&p is good p&p!#just curious what the split is (and wanted to separate the options for only seeing one since i imagine more people have seen 2005)#polls

As far as modern animated movies go they should honestly teach Madagascar in animation school. Lots of visual gags, well paced, tons of fun slapstick poses and boarding to study.
Honest to god this is one of my favourite single shot sequences from 2000s cg animation, it's just so fun and memorable
#i think i figured out the reason i like it so much#its very looney tunes-esque with its visual comedy and wittiness thats a bit too edgy for disney to write#and the camp of course#but also i saw it in theaters when i was 8 lol

Anyways thinking about all the times Rayla has been literally buried alive, but also how Callum did so metaphorically during her two years absence and after she returned.
He buried her memory, refusing to say her name out loud or think of her:

I started with part 5 so I am not a particularly old fan.#(I had a little bonus comic to go with this of the rest of the crew but I ran out of time to polish it up...perhaps another day.)#For everyone else; I highly recommend watching 'A Women Named Fuijko Mine'. Mind the content warnings though.#It is very dark but a really *really* fantastic deconstruction on the femme fatale archetype.
