weird & random saw headcanon i have:

danica scott from saw 3 & mallick scott from saw 5 are siblings

my reasoning:

obviously they both have the last name scott which is where this whole hc came from but let me go into detail on the other thing

saw is known for it’s awkward dialogue & line delivery & one example of this that i’ve always loved was mallick’s “It’s Jigsaw. I knew this was gonna happen to me!” i’ve always thought this line was really funny, mallick is so overcome with guilt that he frequently worries that he’s going to be jigsawed.

mallick is the only character in the entire saw franchise who ever makes reference to expecting to be picked for a trap, so my explanation for this weird reaction is his sister being a previous victim.

if danica was mallick’s sister, he would be intimately familiar with jigsaw & everything to do with his victims. you couldn’t go through a tragedy like losing a loved one to a jigsaw trap & then be unaware of why, it adds context to his outburst if he were to experience something like that.

when he burned the building down & didn’t face justice, his guilt told him that he was going to meet the same fate danica did, instead of like.. something normal like getting arrested

In venom 4 Venom gets back to eddie somewhat quickly, but venom is still pretty weak so he's unable to transform or transfer back to eddie. The rest of this part of the film is split between Eddie's and Venoms POV as venom tries to communicate ( unsuccessfully ) with eddie.

Half way through the film, Late at night, Eddie decides to take a shortcut thought an alley way and gets held at gunpoint for films reasons. Film stuff happens and they shoot at eddie. Eddie flinches, but just before he closes his eyes he sees from the bottom right of his vision a cockaroach seemingly jumping in front of him just in time to block the bullet.

The thugs are surprised and terrified as they try to comprehend what happened in front of them. They just saw a cockaroach appear from a dark corner, moving in a speed that should not be possible, somehow jumping and stopping the bullet. As they are still trying to understand it all, they notice that not only is the bug not dead, but its currently skittering closer to their location.

In a panic the thugs start shooting wildly both at eddie but more at the cockaroach. To the awh and horror of everyone the insect moves in a hard to see flash bodyblocking every single bullet. If it wasn't for the fact it was a bug it would almost seem magestic. The thugs decide this is not worth it and just run away.

Eddie stands there dumbfounded as the cockaroach watches the thugs run, when they are out of sight it turns around and stares at him. Having been familiar with the unnatural for over a year, and feeling desperate at the first sign of it coming back , he asks "Buddy, is that you?". His eyes tear up as he sees the bug jumping up and down in what he assumes is joy.

The rest is now about the evil guy thats hinted around the first half of film. However throughout the film at what seems like random moments different pieces of a qr code appear, small and hard to find. Putting all the pieces together and scanning it takes you to a video of Venom and Eddie fucking nasty style.

This was meant to just be me writing down an idea that turned into fanfiction.

movie sonadow would be so l umity-coded…and i say this bc their dynamic is similar to the games but with a different and tender perspective: they both empathize deeply with each other now, and this shadow is not as reticent or closed off bc of that. that being said: movie!sonic would ABSOLUTELY 'YOU'RE the sweet potato!' the hell out of shadow

today's insane concept to keep my mind off of other matters: will smith hockey getting a gay little earring.

i think it could go something like: mack's just fucking rambling again, of course, always going on about something, and will tunes in just in time to hear, 'would look good on you, smitty, like hot i think. girls love that pretty shit.' and will has to do a little mental reset before he can laugh awkwardly and go, 'mack. what.'

mack's like, 'i'm telling you dude, you've got the face for it i swear.'

'no,' says will, 'what the fuck are you talking about.'

mack rolls his eyes. 'you're such a shitty listener. you should get your ears pierced, dude.' frowns. 'or ear. less --' waves his hand around as if to indicate the broad, nebulous idea of homo that he doesn't like to actually put into words. will appreciates that about him.

'hmm,' says will. 'i don't know.' but mack starts up right where he left off -- it'd be so hot, smitty, and what's your problem anyway, no way you're afraid of needles, lmao (pronounced luh-maow). and will's like prepared to just forget this entire conversation happened, and mack forgets about it pretty much as soon as he gets on the subject of their boston game, which is coming up, and he's got ideas for how they should be on the same line for it. but will catches himself in the mirror a couple days later and thinks, mack said it'd be hot. and, he reasons, he can always just take it out if he doesn't like it. duh.

cue will showing up to practice with a diamond stud because he thought it was like, showy but not too feminine. it's like, a classic. diamonds are always classic. and mack's like HOLY SHIT DUDE. I TOLD YOU. will has to stop him from poking at it, because now that he's got it he's at least gonna make sure it heals properly, and mack's hands are all grimy like a toddler's. but when the rest of the team starts filtering in it's this weird mix of guys who think it's neat, guys who don't bring it up at all, and maybe one or two guys going 'what the hell's this all about, dude?' which is, you know. will's not insecure or anything, that's a girl thing, but he doesn't love that reaction.

so will revisits himself in the mirror later and thinks aw shit, maybe a hoop would've been better. maybe the diamond IS gay. maybe it's too sparkly and i fucked this up and i should just take it out and be done with it and, oh shit, what happens if i get hit in the fucking head and my ear starts bleeding and everyone on the ice knows that i went out and got a PIERCING on PURPOSE which is just SUCH a gayass thing to do, oh my god. and will's like convinced himself fully to take it out, it was a stupid idea anyway, but there's a very, very small part of him that's thinking about mack reaching for him in the room that morning, mouth open in this fascinated little o, going, 'did it hurt? can i -- it looks so good, bud, wow, just like i thought. sick, dude, i --' like he's trying to figure out how to ask for something he doesn't even know he wants. so will leaves the earring in.

Swan Lake adaptation where Odette and her assorted other maidens are cursed same as always (swans during the day, human again between midnight and dawn) BUT there's also just some random wild swans caught up in the curse and they are their normal swan selves during the day and turn into humans at night, but still with swan brains.

So the plot is basically the same except that there's a couple of these humanized swans hanging around most of the time who A. see Odette and the maidens as part of their flock and are protective B. are swans and therefore crave violence at all times

not to be a #hater but I didn't like how they marketed the film to make it seem like Kon is the main character

I get that in the series Ri is the main character and we get to view the series in his pov, BUT just because in the series it's that way doesn't mean they have to force it so the movie seems similar (⁠´⁠；⁠ω⁠；⁠｀⁠)

I'm kinda salty about this since Asa and kame are the main characters and get the most screen time, While Kon gets only half the movie and Shingi like a few minutes but Shingi (heavy on shingi he only gets a few minutes come on!!) and Kon still have way way way more merchandise than Asa and Kame.... (⁠╯⁠°⁠□⁠°⁠）⁠╯⁠︵⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I feel like most of the hate for the movie boils down to one of two things (and sometimes both!)

1. They wanted SA2 the movie instead of sonic movie 3

2. For some reason thinking the trailer was going to or has spoiled the entire movie??? And there will be absolutely no twists or surprises??

Like if you're in camp 1 that's fair and valid to be disappointed. I'm sorry the movie wasn't what you wanted it to be. But...did you really EXPECT it to be? The first 2 movies didn't follow the games and established a completely different world and timeline. Why would the 3rd movie be any different? Fundamental parts of SA2 rest on things that could never happen in the movie based on the canon established. The master Emerald would have a tough time being stolen and then broken. The eclipse canon can't run on chaos emeralds, they've been inside the Master Emerald and hidden for certainly longer than 50+ years when the ark would have been built. The movie was going to be an adaptation of SA2 (and apparently morphed with parts of Shadow's game too) not a recreation. And that's always what it was going to be.

I'm sorry you wanted an orange and got an apple. I really am. But why are you mad at the apple for not tasting like an orange. Like it was always gonna taste like an apple. It's an apple.

And camp 2 is like...either a fundamental or maliciously intentional misunderstanding of how trailers work. It's a TRAILER. It's 3 minutes out of a 90-ish minute movie, stitched together to make you intrigued without spoiling the plot.

There's gonna be surprises in the movie! Sonic is working for GUN in the trailer, bummer, but we have 87 other minutes for him to go "Hey wait that's bad" and stop working with them. Amy and Rouge aren't in the trailer, that sucks. But there's 87 other minutes for them to show up! To be a surprise! Super Sonic wasn't in the trailer for movie 2! Gerald's alive? No the horror! Or is he? We don't know! Could be a trick or a twist!

Cuz that's what movies HAVE.

Twists! Surprises! Cool shit to make people go "YOOOOO!"

Trailers? Good ones DON'T spoil the entire plot of the movie. And assuming you know the entire movie based off 3 minutes is - again - either a fundamental or malicious misunderstanding.

Anyways just let people be excited. If you're not, that's fair and fine. You have every right not to be. But like. Idk. Don't shit on people for it??? Maybe??? Is that too much to ask???
