not to be a #hater but I didn't like how they marketed the film to make it seem like Kon is the main character

I get that in the series Ri is the main character and we get to view the series in his pov, BUT just because in the series it's that way doesn't mean they have to force it so the movie seems similar (⁠´⁠；⁠ω⁠；⁠｀⁠)

I'm kinda salty about this since Asa and kame are the main characters and get the most screen time, While Kon gets only half the movie and Shingi like a few minutes but Shingi (heavy on shingi he only gets a few minutes come on!!) and Kon still have way way way more merchandise than Asa and Kame.... (⁠╯⁠°⁠□⁠°⁠）⁠╯⁠︵⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

#i get it if it was Ri who was the medicine seller #since then its like an already established character from the series that we know #but its not #we dont know who kon or shingi is theyre new people #maybe theyre just making alot of merch to hype all 3 movies at rhe same time for less work #but come on at least a bit more merch for asa and kame...#like theyre the protagonists they deserve it!!!#btw dont interpret this as me hating on kon #or shingi #its just that #come on man asa and kame are there the whole time...#facing issues together #and all rhe marketing money goes to kon and shingi #who dont even do as much as ri does in the series #since he diesnt interact with the cast as much #complaining #mononoke 2024 #モノノ怪 #this could be considered a bad take #i dont care #they dont need to make asa and kame plushies but like #more stands at least... maybe #and like #more drawings/posters or photocards of them
