💯 [100] How many words does your WIP currently have? How many words do you hope it'll have when it's done? (for this ask game)

Currently, Book 2 (which I now think will end up being published first of the series, actually) has 45.8k words, almost exactly. My goal is to have it in the ballpark of 90-100k words, since that's pretty normal for a fantasy novel. At the moment I'd say I'm probably around 50% of the way through the plot, so after trimming of scenes and fluffing of descriptions, I'm on track. :3

My partner made a terrible comment about Minecraft's bundles that I think tumblr would appreciate.

So, you know how you need to remove all the items in the order they appear in up until you reach the one you actually want, right? Which- Gets super messy and ends up with 300 inventory items dropped on the ground while you're digging in your bag to get that goddamn pot.

This is the game they made a brain rot movie of and it is kinda sad seeing such a big piece of nostalgia turned into something that is clearly not geared towards the age group who was raised with it. They could’ve made something so beautiful and at least tried to replicate that magical feeling of being a kid and discovering/learning everything this game has to offer whilst the soft music plays in the background.
