Jubokko (樹木子): A yokai tree that feeds on human blood to fill. Mr Gap’s requests for body parts hint at his desire to fill something he’s missing. He doesn’t physically have a heart or a body. I like this concept, as it feels melancholic and sad.

Hello~ You got me thinking! I decided to make it in an iceberg format. It will start with cute headcanons, then dive into the darker, sad, or anxious ones. ✦ . 　⁺ 　 The Surface ⁺ New language: If Mr Gap picked up some human words, they’d definitely be swear words. And he’d easily find situations to use them. ⁺ I’m in your bed: He doesn’t have a concept of many things, like not fully understanding that he can cause pain (bites worse than Mr Chopped, be careful) or even what personal space is (try teaching him to knock first).

⁺ Give me that: He’s super into random little things from our world. Like, who else would sit there flipping through magazines, right? So of course he’d want to grab something cool for his collection. Personal items are probably a lot safer than, you know, body parts.

The Icy Current ⁺ Solitude: He likes it when you talk to him. But he’s usually ignored, so he acts this way to get attention. And he really doesn’t like it when you spend too much time with other. Jealousy? He won’t admit it, but he’ll do something to put a stop to it. ⁺ Am I good?: Mr Gap definitely has a praise kink. He absolutely loves it when you tell him he’s good. It’s important for him to prove he’s better than everyone else. ⁺ Obsessive Attachment: He was incredibly bored, but with you, life feels fun. Of course, he doesn’t want to lose that. Dark Waters ⁺Just Like Others: He watches others and listens to them. He mimics their behavior. It’s quite possible that he started asking "Are you okay?" after noticing others doing it and seeing the positive reaction it gets. ⁺ Everything has a price: Mr Gap doesn’t like doing things, especially not for free. That’s why he always asks for something in return, like a heart or hair. But in the scene with Mr Scarletella, he steps out of his role as an observer because he can’t let him take you. ⁺ His Plan: Mr Gap seems to manipulate events around you invisibly, ensuring you stay close to him and free from any distractions. It all appears coincidental, but it’s clearly anything but. The Depths ⁺ Why a Heart?: Mr Gap probably doesn’t feel good without his own body. That’s why, when he asks for human body parts, it’s like he’s trying to fill that emptiness. ⁺ It will be my way: Mr Gap has an ability to move through space. What’s interesting is that he can bring the MC back from one world to another. Time is probably not under his control, but he can literally take them anywhere he wants. This is a powerful skill. ⁺ Immortality: He claims he cannot be killed. Actually, it’s Mr. Gap who returned you here. Your thoughts kept circling back to that moment, refusing to let it fade. That tall man in red. The sound of his footsteps rang in your ears, drowning out everything else. You felt dizzy, with colorful spots blurring your vision. You had nowhere to run, so you hid in a dark hole beneath the floor, holding your breath. He found you, leaned in, but didn’t see you and walked away.

Why didn’t he see anything?

“Were you covering for me?”

“I’m good.”

“Thank you...”

And then there was that gray corridor with endlessly similar walls. The white light burned too brightly, searing your vision and making the shadows dance. You looked around, desperately searching for a way out, but there was nothing.

In the reflection of the plain mirror, there was no one but you. Mr. Gap could have appeared if there had been a gap somewhere here. If only it could be broken. Out of desperation, you picked up a stone and struck it against the mirror. The stone was too light, but the glass was thick. You made several attempts until the smooth surface finally gave way. There was no time. You pressed your hand against the surface, pushing with all your strength until it finally shattered.

The sharp edges grazed your skin, and dark red blood beaded on your hand before slowly dripping onto the floor. This attracted the attention of the man in red. In despair, you pressed yourself against the cold mirror. Finally, just as you were ready to give up, you heard a familiar voice, slightly teasing:

“Need help?”

“Carry you.”

The blood on your hand that day attracted not only the man in red. Mr. Gap's eyes lit up strangely as he stared intently at your hand, then asked you to give it to him. Motionless, you watched as he licked the blood from the fresh wounds. His lips were smeared with crimson blood, and this was his true nature. Perhaps, for the first time, you felt the desire to kiss him.

You let out a tired sigh as you sank into the hot water, feeling the tension of the long day begin to melt away. Your day at work had been utterly exhausting, so when you returned home, you couldn’t even follow your usual routine and simply tossed your things on the bathroom floor as you undressed. Your eyes closed as you took a deep breath, enjoying the long-awaited warmth. It had been a very cold day for November, and you were freezing on your way home. That’s why the water in the bath was hotter than usual.

But suddenly, a strange chill ran through you, as if a cold wind slipped into the room. You opened your eyes and flinched when you saw Mr. Gap right in front of you. He was lying right in front of you now, shamelessly stretched out between your legs. His dark hair fell forward, covering his left eye, while his right eye studied you closely. He rubbed his cheek against your damp leg, his hair slightly wet and sticking to his pale skin.

He was also pleased that his body was restored, with all its parts in place. Though out of old habit, he only showed his head in moments like today. You saw him in the reflection of your office window. His ghostly face and a grin from ear to ear scared your boss so much she turned pale. She stopped scolding you, even though she clearly had a lot to say, and quickly left the office. Did Mr. Gap do it on purpose, or was he just having fun?

His dark lips curved into a smirk. Now he appeared fully, leaning his weight against you. His face was strangely handsome, with a slightly upturned nose and a sharp chin. Of course, his large light-gray eyes, framed with thick black lines, stood out sharply against his pale skin. Long fingers with black nails lazily trailed across your stomach, leaving behind a familiar faint chill. Your eyes followed his hand, drawn to its slow movement, as though he was lost in his thoughts too.

“Warm, it’s cold... out there.” He lifted his head and nodded toward the small bathroom window. It was fogged up from the steam, making it hard to see through, but you knew it was still snowing outside. You gave a slight nod, understanding what he meant.

“Give me your finger?” he asked, raising his eyebrows with such a fake and innocent expression that it was almost pitiful. His face always vividly conveyed every emotion, and he knew how to use that to his advantage.

You lifted your hand out of the water and offered it to him. Long fingers wrapped around your wrist, lifting your hand to a face. His lips curled into a thin smile every time he got what he wanted.

Well if you create a character inspired by yokai, or maybe yurei (traditional Japanese ghosts), then long black hair, a kimono, and grey skin are the basic set. So he maintains that aesthetic, yeah?
